Mike Weaver is traveling the country in an RV in pursuit of inspirational stories, as Mike says, "for people who realize we are not perfect but are in pursuit of the One who is - Jesus! We believe He has redeemed us and in this podcast are exploring topics concerning what that looks like for our daily lives as believers."
Mike Weaver is the voice of Big Daddy Weave, one of Christian music’s most beloved artists. The band’s numerous number one radio singles are the favorites of many, including “Love Come to Life,” “Redeemed,” “The Only Name (Yours Will Be),” “Overwhelmed,” “My Story” “The Lion and the Lamb,” “Alive” and “I Know.”
As much as Big Daddy Weave is known for their music and ministry, they may be known even more for their fervor to seek the Lord. In that spirit, Mike had the desire to talk with others about how they engage in this journey, leading to the launch of this podcast "In Pursuit".

Mike travels to Canada via the Internet for a visit with Dr. Al Anderson, president of ShareWord Global. ShareWord Global distributes scripture to people around the world, touching many places the Bible has never been widely distributed. Dr. Anderson shares how doors are opening to pursue this life-changing effort.

Danny Holmes shocked the courtroom during his trial for murder when unprompted, he took the stand and said, I'm guilty, and read the lyrics of Big Daddy Weave’s song Redeemed to the courtroom. God had moved in his heart so powerfully, that in a trial in which he may have even been exonerated, he heard God tell him to speak the truth. Danny risked his own life in prison to tell his fellow gang members that he could now only follow God, and now daily leads other prisoners to Jesus while he serves his life sentence. Danny joins Mike and Danny's attorney Joshua Crain from prison by phone to tell this incredible story and share what God is doing.

On this special episode of the In Pursuit podcast, Mike gathers with Big Daddy Weave members Jeremy Redmon, Joe Shirk, Brian Beihl, and longtime manager Jim Scherer to remember their brother Jay Weaver. Reminiscing and telling stories, Jay’s life is remembered with joy, thanksgiving, love, and the inspiration his life left to go forward.

Mike’s travels take him to Las Vegas, Nevada for a conversation with HOPE for Prisoners founder Jon Ponder. When Jon returned to his community after spending time in prison, he experienced the challenges many faces upon release, including a lack of long-term support and guidance for those who have learned from their mistakes and have a genuine desire to change the direction of their lives. From his personal experience and his passion to help those facing the same challenges he overcame, HOPE for Prisoners was born.

Mike speaks with Amy Passas from New Hampshire, whose husband is battling for his life in a hospital in Boston. Amy's husband doesn't battle alone, however. Amy is also battling on his behalf as they both give this fight to Jehovah Jireh, the name for God that means The Lord Will Provide. Amy describes the miracles they've already experienced and the ones they pray to come.

Many people carry wounds in themselves, some of which are especially painful during the Christmas season. Mike knows that feeling well from the experience of his father going to be with the Lord on Christmas Day just a few years ago. That story and your story, however, is not the end. Christmas is about the hope of the world coming to overcome ALL things. Join Mike as he shares with you stories about the hope in Christmas.

Mike and Big Daddy Weave are on tour with NewSong in Warner Robbins, GA for this conversation between Mike and NewSong’s Billy Goodwin. Mike talks with Billy about the undying fire that has never quit burning in Billy and NewSong during forty years of ministry, from establishing Winter Jam out of faith to the quiet patience and grace that is Billy’s daily life testimony.

The Weaver family travels to New Mexico, where Mike talks with his friend Mark Richards about the power of forgiveness. Even though Mark's family has endured much by the actions of another person, forgiveness had led them forward.

Mike's travels take him to LA (lower Alabama) to meet with his brother and bandmate Jay Weaver. Jay shares about the current status of his journey in health and spirit and what it is to trust God.

The small town of Sweet Springs, MO is the meeting place for Mike's conversation with Armored Outreach founder Brad Fogarty. Mike and Brad talk about following Holy Spirit's leading and the life-changing places that pursuit has taken them.
