We briefly talk about his unfortunate passing, but get into the bigger problem in why we preach Black Lives Matter, but we still experience black on black crime? On this episode: I (Marcus) had a conversation with my old roommate and fellow Detroit native, Antonio "Binky" Combs! We cover a variety of topics in our discussion from his childhood to where he is now. Was track always his sport, or did he love basketball or football first? Once he found out track was going to be it, was it hard for him to let go of those other sports? Who influenced him growing up? Who did he look at as that role model? Binky pretty much dominated the sport of track once he got into high school, but maybe not right away. Once he got his footing, it was no looking back. What track meet stood out the most to him and why? Which one of his high school years was most challenging and why? How does someone not get frustrated about lack of college interest? Just ask Antonio, Tiffin was the first and only school to offer him and it turned out to be the best opportunity for him! Of course I put him in the hotseat with "9 Questions with JET9" 5 artist to listen too while on an island | J.
