Today I am speaking with Alexis Cano. Alexis is a native of South Texas. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology and is earning her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As an advisor at a large university, she has trained and spoken at regional and national conferences on the topic of compassion fatigue. Her real life experience with weight loss and overcoming compassion fatigue has made her a sought after commodity.

Alexis is the mother of three boys with a passion for helping other busy moms overcome issues with food and weight. Her main goal is to help others realize they are not alone in their struggles and that every problem can be overcome with the right mindset. She outlines her simple process for overcoming food fears and losing weight permanently through intermittent fasting in her book, The What IF? Diet Plan, scheduled to release this Fall.
