So are we supposed to start the podcast?
Pumps
Ready, one, two, three.
Jen
Patriots, Gay Trios. Black Trios, Brown Trio. We love you. It is Pride Month and we celebrate Pride Month here at America's top DEI podcasting. We embrace all of the LGBTQ+ movement, all the letters. We will not capitulate to any right wing framing of any of this. Into all of the right wingers, to all of the people. Specifically, I want to call out all of the people who have gay people in their lives and look at these gay people in their lives and say, I love you, you're important to me. And then you go and triple trump. What can they do? Pumps off. Yep. You can't tell somebody you love them and then go vote for somebody that will hurt them. Those two things cannot exist and we need to call it out.
Pumps
I completely agree. And people do it all day, every day. Especially where I live.
Jen
They do. And one thing they do in the Bible Belt that pisses me off is they quantify gayness. So, like, people will say, recently I know of a person that came out and a younger person, Oklahoma based family and came out to a conservative family, and the dad said, well, at least he's not like super flamboyant, that somehow that was less gay. And there's always this quantifying and bargaining with it, like, okay, you're gay, but don't go to the pride parade. Like, that'll make you a little bit less gay. That'll make your gayness a little bit more acceptable. Shut the fuck up. Who gives a shit about how gay or how somebody presents? It's just the, the minefield that gay people have to go through in the coming out is ridiculous. Like, I didn't have to go on a ham straight tour to everyone. It's just, it's ridiculous. And then when people want to draw boundaries with other people's gayness, I think they can totally fuck off. Like, don't be too femme acting or don't go to the parade, and I'm not going to the par. You quit making it about you.
Pumps
No, I completely agree. And it's just, here's an example. So a couple years ago, a woman that I know, I'm acquaintances with, that our kids went to the same school, her daughter had recently married a female. And I ran into her and I said, I heard your daughter got married. Congratulations. And she goes, you're one of a handful of people that have done that. And I said, here's the deal. Is she sweet to her and does she love her? And she said, yes. And I said, well, then, who the fuck cares? I mean, that's genuinely. I want somebody to treat my child well. I want them to love my child, and I don't give a fuck about anything else, full stop. And I just think that's sad.
Jen
No, it's. It's. It's really sad. I had a situation in Oklahoma City where a friend of mine that I knew was married to a man, had two kids, met a woman, fell in love with the woman, they get married, and then somebody I know said, I just feel so bad for those kids. Why do you feel bad for the kids? Well, that their mom. And I'm like, their mom's a million times better off. The dad was a deadbeat loser pill popper asleep at the wheel. These kids are a million times better off that their mother is who she is. And it's just always these extra, extra hoops that the LGBTQ+ community has to go through with their families, with their peers, with judgment. And I've had it from top to bottom with that. And so pumps. What have you had it with?
Pumps
I've had it with so many things, but I'm going to. For today's episode, what I've had it with is QR codes. And I know we've bitched about QR code menus, but here's what I've had it with. I love a survey. Like a political survey, in terms. I want your feedback about everything. I don't want to do all that. But the new thing that I'm finding is every fucking. Where I go, they hand me a receipt, which I don't want, Which I hate to be Josh Welch of the Deal, but I'm like, have you ever made a charge that your credit card company hasn't put on your card? No. Okay. But the QR code, not only do we want you to take this receipt, we want you to get on the QR Code and post your feedback.
Jen
Shut up.
Pumps
Shut up. I don't want to get on the QR Code. I don't want to have to maneuver your receipt. Like, enough of the reviews. And granted, now I hate reviews because I've gotten with reading reviews, but I'm just like, does anybody really care what my review of a chain restaurant is? I mean, really, do they? I don't think they looked and they said, oh, Angie Sullivan likes chilies. So now I'll go there. Like, that just doesn't exist. So I've had it. I agree.
Jen
There's too much extracting from the customer that comes from the Corporations, it should just be enough that we bought your product and we paid and that's the end of it. Not these corporations. If it's an online thing, you have to go through a pop up. They want to extract personal information from you. They want you to join the club. You got to give all the information. And then they start psycho emailing you, invading your privacy, invading your E bot inbox, invading your personal space, creating all this digital debris that you have to deal with. And then I agree with you, the QR codes. Like, I do not want to fill out a survey. I'll never forget I went to the OB GYN and I got a pap smear, which is not a, an experience that you want to relive afterwards. You want to go, thank God I don't have to have another pap smear for another year. I'll be God damned if I didn't get an email survey regarding my visit to the OB GYN's office. And I thought, this has just gone way too far. Nobody needs to sit around and fill out a survey. And this goes back to the corporate culture. This is a bunch of people around a table figuring out, like, how can we justify this meeting? That could be an email. And then nobody at the table says, you know what, let's just be the corporation that says, come to us, buy our products and then we leave you the fuck alone. If, if a corporation were to be bold enough to do that, I would buy all of their products. Even if their products are shitty, I
Pumps
would too, just to support the freedom that they are not making me or asking me to do all that shit. All right?
Jen
I've had it with Claude, my AI bottom. So my dog Tubby has epilepsy. And he developed it over the course of the last several months. He's an 11 year old, very photogenic, very affable, very attractive. French bulldog. Easily could pass for six or seven despite being 11. And that's not so. It's just not me saying it. Like, when I'm out and about, people are like, how old is he? And I'm like, 11. They're like, no way. And I'm like, I know, no Botox, no fillers, nothing. He looks 6 or 7, right? So he had a breakthrough seizure, which is a seizure that happens when you're on your meds. The medication is called Kepper. And when this happens, of course it's terrifying when you see your dog have a seizure. And so I always get on Claude and I was like, hey, you know, the dog had it was about like a minute 20 seizure this time. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And I had already put the call into the vet, and I was waiting for her to call me back, but I needed, like, someone to talk to about it and some analysis about it. So basically, Claude gives me this information. Breakthrough seizures, as long as it wasn't three minutes long. Yak, yak, blah, blah. And then Claude asked me, like, do you have another. Is Tabby an only child? And I was like, no, he has a sister, Cha Cha. And then Claude responds, make sure you give them both a squeeze for me. What? Yes, he's trying to be. I'm just like, no, you do not get to squeeze my dogs. And then like, I'm gonna sit down and go, oh, my God, Tubby. And Cha Cha, Claude wants me to give you a squeeze. Regulate AI. Regulate it. Regulate it. Regulate it, regulate it. This is a complete violation of my dog's privacy. It felt rapey. From Claude to the Frenchies. I. And then I see all these celebrities like Demi Moore. I believe it's Reese Witherspoon and others who are talking about, don't fight it, don't fight AI. It's here. And it's like, no, we need to regulate it. We need to approach this with the utmost caution on the planet. Because it's wanting me to squeeze my dogs for it. It's insane. It's utterly insane. I'm so mad. I haven't used Claude since then.
Pumps
Oh, really? Well, you know, here's the thing with this whole AI thing. You hear how harmful it is because it makes people believe they're in a relationship. And that's the kind of shit that it does. Like, if somebody's had a bad day, you know, I'm giving you a hug, whatever. Like, there are people that feel so isolated. That's important. And I'll just say this. I've been like, this AI thing is so dark. When you think about all of the jobs that will be lost, all of the wealth that will be concentrated with the elites, and you know what they care about. The people that are displaced don't give a fuck. I mean, it really is terrifying to me.
Jen
And I think the people that are coming out saying, don't fight AI. Embrace it. I think they should be canceled. I think it is so cultish when we have this. AI has to be operated with all of these data centers that are just already taking our climate, which is literally, literally on its last leg. We've withdrawn from the Paris Climate Accords. We're one of the World's biggest polluters, the United States of America. And we're doing nothing to rein ours in by electing Donald Trump. And then when you get these like Mel Robbins, Demi Moores who are like, don't fight it. Embrace AI I'm like, are you serious? Tell your audience and tell your listeners, be cautious. Be skeptical. If this sounds scary, you're valid in feeling that like it's such a. Everybody's just like with Donald Trump's cult. It's just like this trickle down cult. And I think it's for somebody who has the wealth that a Demi Moore or a Mel Robbins has. To not advise other women to be cautious about AI to be cautious. If you have children in the home with their involvement with AI it's okay to say it's here, AI is here. But how do we mitigate it and cautiously tiptoe through this so we can extract the good parts of it and reject the bad parts of it? But this all or nothing, all gas, no breaks with AI Women telling other women to do this. I think Mel Robbins told women to upload their bank account shit to AI Just like crazy shit. I mean like crazy, crazy, crazy shit. And so, and for me, I'm like, you want to squeeze my dogs? No, my dogs. No, my, my dogs are French. My dogs don't like all people, Claude. My dogs like other people on a case to case basis. This isn't a fucking retriever that'll walk up and lick anybody. My dogs sit in judgment of people all the time. And I adore them for that. I adore their discernment. You do not get to bypass me and go squeeze my dogs, you robot. I mean, that was just, I'm sorry, just a bridge too far. My dogs don't want anything to do. Tubby doesn't even like men, for God's sake.
Pumps
Well, I would say Tubby is all the things. You described him as affable to everyone. I would probably be the only thing I would take issue with. He. He is extremely discerning.
Jen
He's affable. He's affable to me. He is a. He is. He is not heterosexual. He is, Jennifer, Sexual. That's right. And that's why I am so close and protective of him. And unlike Mel Robbins and unlike Demi Moore, I've sat down with my dogs and told them, be cautious of AI Be cautious. Do not just capitulate. AI is here. But you get to have boundaries dogs. So it's just insane to me how the tech industry, the same guys who are funding these wars, who are funding fascism, who are funding the dismantling of women's rights, who are fund funding a fascist regime that has taken away a woman's right to choose, are now buying up these Hollywood actresses, influencers and podcasters and getting them to do their dirty work. It is so inherently sexist and manipulative and crazy. And, you know, you can see how well the public likes AI when you just look at these graduation commencement speeches and the kids are like, lot smarter than these women that are carrying water for the fascists. And that's what they're doing. I mean, to have an audience and not tell people to critically think and look at stuff with discernment and skepticism is just. It's just cult shit. And. And I think the most disappointing thing about Trumpism has been to see how many people lack conviction.
Pumps
Yeah, and critical thinking and cruelty.
Jen
I've been used to the lack of critical thinking and cruelty. Living in Oklahoma, I knew that there was an electorate of that, you know, that people love to punch down and that people don't critically think. They think The Earth is 6,000 years old. No, all that shit's real. But the lack of conviction from people outside of that world, like the people who actually have fuck you money in their bank accounts, who have reached success, like Mel Robbins and Demi Moore. And advising people to just accept. Accept AI, embrace it. It's just like, off. You don't get to tell people to do that.
Pumps
I will say one more indictment for AI, for me, which I just, you know, it can be manipulated. And I just remember Gronk saying how handsome and tall and thin Elon Musk was. And I was just like, that is not reality. So that makes me question everything a million times more. If he's going to tell me that Elon Musk has a hot body, then I'm going to immediately know that it's bullshit.
Jen
Said he was more athletic than LeBron James.
Pumps
Okay.
Jen
Said that Elon Musk, the guy who has tits. Yeah, Fat tits. Fat boobs. Like, these are not pectoral muscles. These are titties. Elon Musk has titties that rival that of the husband of Kristi Noem, the big titty Brian who had to put balloons in his top to have the tits. Elon. And I've seen him both shirtless and with a shirt both times. Titties. And so that's just fascinating to say that he is as athletic as LeBron James. All right, I have had it. I have had it with people pretending America was founded as a religious nation, we fought a war to get rid of a king claiming divine divine authority, then wrote a constitution with no mention of God. None. That was the point. And now we've got things like this America Praise event that was held on May 17 where suddenly government is getting really comfortable mixing with religion again. No, that's just not how this is supposed to work. The Freedom From Religion foundation is out there fighting back, protecting the First Amendment because it protects you. I've got one review. This is five stars titled Trans Moms appreciate you and they write. I live in Denver now, but I'm also from Oklahoma. With so many friends and family still in the maga bubble, I don't know what I would do without listening to you two. I have a trans daughter and all the family there in and from Oklahoma politely glance down and offer prayers and sympathy. When talking to me as if my kid is an ax murderer, I'm often filled with a rage I can't explain. But you ladies help me laugh and fill up with hope that we can build a world that loves and encourages all our kids. Thank you for helping me stay sane and speaking on behalf of my daughter as well as all her creative, courageous, amazing friends. Love will outshine hate. Acceptance must overcome ignorance. And your voice, your voices matter so much in these battles and for trans superstars and their moms, it's just, it's
Jen
so important to platform these people and humanize these people and the struggle for people that live in these conservative Bible belt states. And you have, you know, a gay child or a trans child is the people that you think should be your supporters are your bullies. And this patronizing I'll pray for you. I hate that shit.
Pumps
Hate it.
Jen
I hate that shit. I think it is so arrogant to say, oh, I am so great and I'm so as tight as ticks with JC that I will put in a good word for you. It is just so unbelievable because the people who need the praying for, and I don't even believe in all that shit, but a lot of people do are the people who are judgmental of other people's life. And you don't have to understand trans people, you don't have to like trans people. But to think you're better than trans people proves that you are a million times worse than trans people. And there is a there are concerted efforts in states like Oklahoma to bully, institutionally bully trans kids. And it is disgusting. It is disgusting. The amount of people that go along with this, that think, oh, I'm pro trans and I'm pro LGBTQ plus, but they go along with systems that marginalize, bully and demean those communities. And that's not how allyship works. You are either 100% in the paint and you stand up to everybody that opposes it or you don't. You don't get to cherry pick. And that's the problem with a lot of white allies with the black community and a lot of allies with the gay community. They only do it when it's fashionable. They only do it when it fits into their life. When it's uncomfortable, when it's going to ruffle feathers, they duck away from it. And that, to me, is the most insidious form of allyship imaginable. That you only do it when it looks good for you and feels good for you, but when it's going to get uncomfortable, you slink away from it. I can't stand that shit.
Pumps
I agree. And I just. The thought of someone saying to me, like, sympathy and prayers, like that would bring out homicidal rage in me. That, you know, my head spins off and I. I black out. I don't even know what I. I would be so mad. But I think that all goes with the elite entitlement, judgmental righteousness of evangelical Christianity. They put themselves in judgment of everybody all the time, no matter what, because I did it.
Jen
And it's important to note that when there is a void of the evangelical Christianity moniker, which is very true in the Bible Belt, these people think they're special because they have this personal relationship with their higher power that does personal favors for them. Like changes red lights to green lights. I'm not kidding you people. Like, I was running late and then Jesus changed the light. I mean, it just, it came to green, it wasn't even red for. For very long. And I was able to get through and make it on time. Or parking spots. They think parking spots. They. They have this higher power that does all of these little favors. Ignores genocide, ignores child rape in the Catholic Church, ignores child rape in the Southern Baptist Church, but changes traffic lights, but void of that, you can exchange this white evangelical stuff for white supremacy. And so there are a lot of people in the MAGA movement that might not have that evangelical indoctrination, but they have the white supremacy indoctrination, that their whiteness makes them special, that their whiteness curries favor for them, and that is ferreted out in the white experience in America. It is easier to be white in America. It's easier to get a job. It's easier to navigate a lot of things with your complexion. And so those two things are kind of interchangeable. So for the people on the coast that, you know, know these crazy MAGA thumpers, and they're not evangelical, you can Exchange that with white supremacy because the white experience has, has made this type of white narcissism the same way that evangelical Christianity makes this Christian narcissism. Now I want to head into to some news stories. Charles Barkley, the former NBA player and now he's a. Is it TNT pumps?
Pumps
Well, it has been for years, but
Jen
now they're on espn, ESPN commentator. He has always been on the right side. And what I mean by that is the left side of everything. Which the left side is the right side, the appropriate side when it comes to human rights, anti black racism, support of lgbtq. And let's pop this up. Charles Barkley calls out homophobia in sports following the death of retired NBA player Jason Collins. So Collins was the first openly gay athlete to appear in any of the four major North American professional sports leagues. He came out publicly after the 2012, 2013 season and a Sports Illustrated article. Then he signed with the Nets. He passed away after a battle with gliostoma. I'm butchering that on May 12, 2026 at age 47. And so if you think about the gay community, there are certain things that are true. Conservative people have gay kids, conservative people have trans kids. This is not some left agenda. And then when it comes to sports, it any statistician would tell you if the general public is gay at a 10% rate, then you can apply that to professional athletes. So there are professional athletes in the NBA that are gay right now. And a lot of people could just slink away from this, especially during the MAGA regime. But Charles Barkley said, no fucking way. I'm going to be an ally and I'm going to stand up for what's right. I'm a stand up for what's good. I'm going to stand up for what's decent. I don't care what the blowback is. I don't give a fuck because I have to put my head on the pillow at night and he goes on TV and says this big deal.
Guest Commentator
Well, 13 years ago was a big deal. And the reason why it doesn't feel as big now at times is because of people like him. And so, you know, kudos to him. Yeah. But Kenny, in fairness now, if another guy did it, it would still be a big deal because we live in a homophobic society. And that's unfortunate. That's why, first of all, anybody who think we ain't got a bunch of gay players in all sports, they're just stupid. But there is such a animosity toward the gay community and that's what's really unfortunate. But anybody think him and I know a couple other soccer players that came out, if you think there are not more gay players in the NFL, Major League Baseball and the NBA, you're just stupid.
I didn't know.
Jen
He's 100% right. And this is where, when I talked about the beginning of this episode, how gay people meet their peers, their family, their support groups, and then those people, once they come out to them, want to quantify their gayness and draw boundaries with their gayness and how gay they can be or how gay they can act or what parades they can go to and what parades they can't go to. No other world does that exist. So it's like once somebody has the bravery and the authenticity and the courage to go tell who were their original bullies, probably their families, their church members, their friends. Friends. Then they come back and they quantify their gayness. To them, it's really, really gross. So kudos to Charles Barkley for that. Because sports is an area, or I think I should say sport is the right way to say that. Sport is an area where I think that we. Everybody enjoys watching basketball, for the most part, enjoys watching tennis or football, whatever your preferences. And, you know, there was this whole NAACP thing about a suggestion that athletes boycott these schools that get state funding from racist governments. And I support it. I support those of us that
Listener/Caller
believe
Jen
in anti black racism, that believe the Confederacy wasn't punished enough to organize and make a way for schools that offer the states and schools that offer full blown equality and an agenda of anti black racism, that we figure out a system and support the NAACP because nothing will hurt these Southerners more than anything. Then elite black athletes saying, I'm not playing in your racist state. And that's what it's going to take. And I think the same goes for the LGBTQ community. Community. We have to get in that ass. Not literally, no pun intended, and call these people out, call out people that have gay friends and tell their gay friends, oh, honey, I love you. And then they pull up to the voting booth and they vote to hurt these people. It is. I just. I don't understand why everybody isn't Charles Barkley.
Guest Commentator
I.
Jen
It's hard for me to understand that, but then I have to reflect back to my experience growing up in open Oklahoma and how many duplicitous hypocrites I know that enjoy black excellence, that enjoy gay excellence, and then they go and vote against it, and then they can go and hug their gay friends, hug Their friends of color. And they feel nothing like total sociopaths. They don't feel that betrayal. It's. That has always been one of the most frustrating things for me living in a relationship red state.
Pumps
It happens all the time. And what, you know, I know people that have softened like that have LGBTQ plus family members and their position has changed, their voting has changed. And, and I appreciate that. But what I would like to see is an outspoken group of these people that have changed and why. And why they feel it necessary. Because I do think fundamentally, and I'm probably naive, but I fundamentally think that people love their children and want them to be happy and want what's best for them. And I think if you had a few, like in Oklahoma City or at, you know, churches that came out and said, I have a gay child and I'm not ashamed of it, I'm so proud. And I think that that courage for those parents that have been so shitty, that have now are trying to make amends, to stand up, and I hope that would enable other people to do that. Because I think it starts a little bit at a time. I mean, that's how it was for me. You start a little bit, but then you see how wrong it was and how dirty it is and then you want to speak out against it. And so I would like to see that, particularly in red states. I don't know if I ever will.
Jen
I think that a really important next step would be for the Republican Christians who have given birth to gay children to step out and offer to do social media and advertisement for the Democratic Party that I, you know, like, if I had, if I was a Republican Christian and I had a gay child, I would look in the camera and say, I took my kid to church, I sent them to Christian summer camp, I raised them to be Republicans. And guess what happened? These two Bible thumping Republicans gave birth to a gay kid. We didn't send them to a crazy school. We made sure they went to the local Oklahoma school, they went to the local Oklahoma universities, and we gave birth to a gay kid. So this bullshit that liberals, that it's some gay agenda is bullshit. Because the fact of the matter is if you live in Oklahoma and you know a gay person, their parents are Christian Republicans. That's just how it goes, right? Same with Alabama, same with Kans, with Texas. I mean, I, I have a shit ton of gay friends, overwhelming majority of them from Oklahoma parents are Republican Christians. So the whole right wing narrative that all of these cat ladies are doing in vitro and surrogacy and then indoctrinating all of these lesbians and. And gay people and drag queens is a total lie. Because if you ever have lived in a Bible belt, all of your gay friends come from conservative Christian culture. Republican culture. Republican and Christian culture, in my opinion, puts out some of the top gold star gays on the planet. But I agree with your point, Pumps, that the parents of these kids have a bigger burden to carry. To say we were a part of the problem that shackled our children child, we are a part of the problem that led to the judgment of this. And if they're still a faith, I would think, well, the Lord has a interesting sense of humor that I was a hateful, judgmental, homophobic bigot my whole life. And then I gave birth to this wonderful, beautiful gay child. I had a friend in Oklahoma, and she had a gay son. And it was obvious. Obvious. I mean, like, from six on, right? I mean, it was just the kid was gay 100%. Everybody knew it. And she was a real big Bible thumper. And she told me once that she was telling the kid, you know, if you ever think about being gay, that's just Satan. And I was like, you can't say that to your kid. Like, that's crazy to say that. Despite her telling for years, if you ever think about being gay, which she knew he was gay because I never said to my kids, if you ever think about being gay, that's just not something that comes out because his gayness was that obvious even at a very young age. So, of course, ultimately, he ends up coming out and all of these things, and then she has to completely rearrange her faith, and it's completely reorganized that, oh, God just made sure that. That he had a great spouse and blah, blah, blah. But I want to be really clear. Gay people are as entitled to toxic, bad picking choices as children. Straight people. Gay people have bad marriages. Straight people have bad marriages. There's no distinction. We all want our kids to marry somebody kind and nice to them. But everybody falls prey to divorce. Everybody falls prey to picking somebody like their, you know, most dysfunctional parent. I mean, it's just, you know, all those same things apply. All right, moving along. Canada is now expediting. Pop this up is expediting. Expediting citizenship to LGBTQ Americans to prevent harm related to sexual orientation, gender identity, health care needs, or legal status for work or school. Imagine that, you guys, the United States of America. All of those people, all those fine Christian people, Republican people in Bible belt states that give birth these Beautiful, wonderful gay kids would say, America is freedom. I vote for the Republican Party because I believe in free freedom. Well, guess what? You're creating a state that is so homophobic and so militarized against. And I mean that metaphorically militarized against the LGBTQ community. But I guess I mean it literally with the shooting of Renee Good, that other countries are allowing LGBTQ plus members to be refugees. And so that's why I think you're of part point pumps about the parents of gay people. They need to step it up. They need to be involved. They need to atone for their part in creating this closeted world that can be fatal for members of the LGBTQ community.
Pumps
And I would just say, for my part, like having. Having been part of the problem at one point because of indoctrination and religious
Jen

there is so much freedom and being who you are and supporting, like, the. The biggest benefit to me in this podcast, personally, like Soul Wise, is how we have been embraced by this community. And all we're doing is just saying what's real, what's true. And I just. I want so badly for this moment in time to be over, that we don't have to talk about allyship and acceptance anymore, because it's just. I just want to fast forward through all that because it's painful and people should not suffer for what they do in their bedrooms and the choices they make that have no effect on other people. And so making amends for that every day, like, feeds my soul. It really does. And that sounds selfish, and maybe it is, but it's just so important to me. Anything that I can personally do, having been in that whole, you know, atmosphere and environment my whole life and coming out on the other side of makes me so happy to be an ally. It really does.
Jen
Yeah. And I do want to say about the part about, like, fast forwarding through it, the anti black racism and the rise of Islamophobia, antisemitism and LGBTQ issues, this is going to be a problem in the United States for a very long time. And it is a time to form alliances and buckle up buttercups, because there is no fast forwarding through it. The forces against this are serious. They are organized and they have deep, deep pockets. The rise of anti LGBTQ initiatives are astronomical. And so this is why I say when people don't want to talk about politics, they're just saying they don't want to talk about morals, they don't want to talk about their morals. I can't tell you how many people I know in Oklahoma women that I would play pickleball with with these excellent pickleball playing lesbians. Wonderful people. Made my life better. And I knew a couple of these straight women go and triple trump and Feast on Fox News and just feed themselves the cruelty and the hate. But then they want to feel cool and they want to feel like they're in the in crowd and go, well, I'm not a homophobe. I play pickleball with a couple of lesbians. Well, no, you are a fucking homophobe and a weaponized homophobe with your vote to triple trump. I'm sorry, you're a weaponized homophobe. So these allies that come. Oh, I don't have a problem with the gays. Well, you actually kind of do because you don't have the courage to stand up to homophobia. You assist in the weaponization of homophobia to deprive people of equality, full stop. I mean, I. I can't tell you. And pumps. You know this. How many people do you know in Oklahoma that will say, I don't have a problem with the gays, but they would never, ever, ever, ever, ever dream of voting for human rights over a tax breaker?
Pumps
Oh, in my own family, I'm in the dozens.
Jen
But I'm talking about the women that are our age.
Pumps
Absolutely.
Jen
Go to gay hairdressers, that have a gay trainer, have a gay doctor.
Guest Commentator
And then.
Jen
And that may. They think, oh, me being nice to them proves that I'm not right.
Pumps
They think that's enough. It insulates them. Well, I mean, if you're. You're hateful, you're just hateful all the time. If that's what you. If that's how you feel, it. It just rots your. Rots you from the inside, I think.
Jen
Okay. In honor of Pride, we want to highlight some examples of gay excellence. This clip is from the Ms. Thing podcast. Let's play the clip.
Guest Commentator
Gay name or straight name? Daniel. Gay. I agree. I look trepidatious, but gay. Yeah. How about Dan? Straight.
Totally.
This is actually something we need to talk about, which is if you're. If you are going by the longer form of your name, it's gay.
It's gay.
Yeah. That's queer behavior if you're Chuck or Charlie. Straight is. If you're Charles.
Gay Charles.
I mean, come on. Charles.
Come on.
Yeah, we don't. Yeah, gay, obviously. Yeah. Brad. I'm gonna say straight. It's straight. But a lot of gay, like porn people will be Brad. Totally gay guy wishes inherently straight. Yes, exactly. Totally Brad's. You're in the clear. Bonk.
Jen
All right, shout out to the Miss Thing podcast. I love that. This next clip is from Tick Tock creator Chris Cringe. Play the clip.

Straight, gay or by fitness equipment edition. Running on a treadmill is straight. Walking on a treadmill like you think you're on. America's Next Top Model is gay. A man using an elliptical is gay. Peloton is gay. Jumping rope is gay. Dumbbells are straight. Kettlebells like to swing both ways, so. Bye. I mean, that looks gay to me. Rowing is lesbian. Preacher curl benches are mostly straight, but there are some that are on the DL. The sauna is gay. Okay, I know, like, all the real Jack dudes use the Stairmaster, but still gay. Okay. A woman using this machine is straight. A man using this machine is gay. TRX straps. Weightlifting straps. Really? Any straps? Or lesbian.
Pumps
Any straps. I've gotten into a new thing at the gym where I stretch out with straps.
Jen
Sounds kind of gay. All right, let's play our own game of gay, straight or bi MAGA edition. Okay. Pop this up, Kylie. All right. Gay, straight or bi Ladybug Lindsey Graham. I'm going gay 100 gay.
Pumps
Here's the only thing about and I'm going bottom power. Power bottom.
Jen
Gay, straight or bi? Josh. Holly. I'm going gay. I'm going versatile bi. No Meaning top to bottom fluctuates back and forth.
Pumps
He just. There's nothing about him that I see as heterosexual. Nothing.
Jen
All right, gay, straight or bi. Little Moses. Mike Grinder Johnson. I am going gay. I am going to submissive bottom.
Pumps
For sure. He likes to be dominated like a dominant.
Jen
That's why he would be a sub. Yeah. Okay, next up, smokey eye sociopath JD Vance. I am going by. I am going bottom in all regards. Usha pegging him and or Peter Thiel pegging him. I think this is a person who likes to be on all fours at all times. And then afterwards, he likes to raise up and look at his eyes. All right, gay, straight or bi. Benny. BJ Johnson. Benny outed himself online when he put up the Google targeted ad for the gay cruise. Benny Johnson is gay. Benny Johnson wants to demonize gay people during the day. And then the minute he gets off the airwaves, all he does is gay stuff.
Pumps
I don't even think Benny's hiding it. Really?
Jen
Jesse Waters. Gay straighter by.
Pumps
Here's the thing. I just think he is such a despicable human. I'm gonna say he doesn't know he's gay because he likes to young women and have affairs and he likes to do all the straight male stuff. But I think, like, subconsciously, there's a part of him that gets so aroused with certain people on his show that all happen to be men. I just don' he has realized it yet.
Jen
I'm going, okay, next one. Ben Shapiro. I'm going, this is a broken straight man for sure.
Pumps
He gives straight man vibes all day.
Jen
Next one. Gay, straight or bi? Cankles, McTaco tits. Our first gay president.
Pumps
I really think gay.
Jen
All right, Listener, do you ever get sucked into these targeted ads when you're scrolling social media? I did once and it was like, this is the YouTube earwax vacuum cleaner. And it was like, it's going to suck out all the earwax. It works so great. I was like, oh, my God, I'm totally going to get that. I think I have earwax. So I buy it. It's a total racket, total scam. Paid a bunch of money for it. I was unable to return it because the whole thing was bs. And I don't know if this ever happens to you guys, but I wish I would have known about dupe when it happened. So instead of risking another disaster, I just took the exact same search and put it into dupe.com research for me. And this is where it felt completely different, because such a device doesn't really exist. And so it was a total scam that I fell prey to. Listener, you'll also want to get a full breakdown of features, specs, and pricing. And my favorite part, it actually tells you what not to buy, too. If I would have used dupe, it would have said, do not buy this product, which can save you money by not making stupid mistakes. So, listener, if it takes research to buy it, let DUP do it for you. Stop wasting time comparing options. Just go to dup.com and tell it what you're looking for to buy. That's dup.com to finally feel confident about what to buy. What kind of person are you looking for?
Jen
A woman.
Guest Commentator
Okay, I don't know if I can help you with this. What kind of woman? I love that you just said that. It doesn't matter. I have no. It doesn't matter and nothing matters. Do you have any qualifications? Does she need to have feet? I mean, like, does she. Do you have any. She doesn't have to have feet. See, that's a real lesbian. Lesbians don't care about that.
Jen
You don't even.
Guest Commentator
You don't care if she has feet or anything.
Pumps
Not.
Guest Commentator
You'll take care of her. That's a real lesbian. Lesbians are amazing. I don't care if she has feet. I'll carry her. I'll carry her from softball game to softball game to softball game to softball game.
Pumps
Here's what I'm missing about being a lesbian. I am so emotionally closed off and unavailable. I don't think I could be in a relationship with a woman.
Jen
I really don't.
Pumps
Even if to. I want. I mean, I can't be in a relationship.
Jen
All your time with women.
Pumps
That's true.
Jen
Yeah, that's true. I mean, you're very much in. All of your relationships are homosocial. I mean, your friendships with your girlfriends. You spend more time with women than anybody I know. Than lesbians that I know.
Pumps
Yeah, but in terms of, like, connecting, I don't. I don't think I could.
Jen
You don't connect with your friends.
Pumps
Yeah, I do, but I just don't.
Jen
I think I have such a block.
Pumps
That's why I think I'm asexual. Because the money, the. The good.
Jen
I think that a lot of people that come out of the closet say asexuality is one of the stops.
Pumps
I think that I don't like sex enough. But here's the deal. I've Had a ton of straight sex. I've never had lesbian sex, so that could be the change.
Jen
There you go. I think. I mean, all these. It's really chic to do a mid. Midlife switch to lesbianism. I think it's the content that we need. Like your storyline. I was a Republican, I was a Christian. I was all of these things. We really need for you to spice it up. The next step for all of these hard hits in this addiction would be I was straight. And now that's the next thing that the audience needs. That's what the Lestrades need.
Pumps
I'm. Here's the deal. You know, like, I wouldn't completely rule it out if I fell head over heels with someone. Okay.
Jen
I like that.
Pumps
I have progressed that far.
Jen
I like that. Pumps. Okay, let's close out with a voice memo.
Listener/Caller
Okay. This is from Christina and I've got a photo to follow it.
Hi, Jen and Pomps and Kylie. My name is Christina. I'm from New Jersey. And what I have absolutely, absolutely had it with. Oh, my God. Is the 250th birthday of America. Like, what the actual are we celebrating? You can't even go to the grocery store without seeing merch for the 250th. Like, hoodies are in my grocery store and, like, Mountain Dew is having American Dew. Like, what the actual are we doing? In some ways, it's a little bit of a blessing because if I see 250th decor outside of your house, I instantly know that and can tell that you're maga. Thank you for the dead giveaway. They're making it way easier to weed them out of the crowd, but, oh, my God, is it fucking annoying to see it everywhere? It's going to be torture all summer. What the fuck are we celebrating?
Okay, so I have a viral piece of America's 250 from Walmart that has been going around. It says Walmart unironically capturing the national mood. It says, the United States of America 1776-2026. As in, we died in 2026.
Jen
That's accurate.
Pumps
Yeah, that's fair.
Jen
That is accurate.
Pumps
The things we celebrated, I feel like, are so under attack. I'm tortured by the whole thing. I. I don't feel patriotic. I. I don't like, I do not. I. I actually thought of Josh Welch the other night at the Thunder game during the national anthem because I wanted to run away and go to the bathroom during it.
Jen
I just. I don't put my hand on my heart anymore.
Pumps
No, I don't. I do not. I mean, I'm just looking at everybody like, yeah, Victor Wimburn. Yama's right. The way that we act, it's so embarrassing. And here's the thing. I'm seeing merch come across my timeline of Donald Trump on Mount Rushmore, and I want. It's a red MAGA hat with him on it somehow, like one of those cheap photos that you slap on there yourself. And I want to say it was $250 in honor of America's birthday. It could have been 50, but in my mind, it's 250. Of course it was.
Jen
No, I think I'm going to go out of the country for Fourth of July. I haven't decided where yet, but I just. It's everything that I believe in. This administration opposes equal rights, decency, decorum, civil liberties, equality, free speech, free press safety, regulations on runaway corporations, livable wage refugees, embracing them, feeding them, helping them. It's just, you know, lifting up the most marginalized among us, telling trans people, I don't care how many Democrats throw you under the bus, I will never do that to you. So it's just. And the people that are going to run around and act like Rob Ross, Hispoon Baldwin were literally in the throes of a total fascist takeover with the. The group of the. Of men and women in Congress that won't do anything about it. It's just there's. There's no. There's nothing to celebrate right now. Nothing.
Pumps
No. I feel the exact same way. The exact same way. And this just the rise of all of these hateful people that are now in power. It just shows you how broken America. I mean, to me, it's a mirror of how much help that we need to get through with the citizenry. Like, I think it's Norway that teaches empathy classes in all their lower schools. I think that's what we need because we have. We're. We're nation of, like, sociopath mean girls.
Jen
It's true. I mean, there's. The leadership is. Is just horrible. And of course, the Bible Belt states are the worst. The worst. The meanest people. The Fox News viewers are the worst. I mean, just the worst.
Pumps
All right.
Jen
This is, you know, it's a difficult time. It's a great time to celebrate Pride Month. It's a difficult time for people to be gay, and it's a time for allyship to make it fun. And despite all of the hatred that this administration is hurling at its LGBTQ citizens, despite Trump going You know, I. The reason I did so great with the gay vote is because I played the gay national anthem. YMCA song. It is a time for everybody. Support Pride Month. Support. Go to your local Pride parade. Show up. Even if you don't have any gay people in your life, show up for these people. Show up and be there. And then be wary of corporations that just trot out their support for the month and then just completely recede on it. And so to all of our LGBTQ followers, we see you and we stand in complete solidarity with you. And I am so sorry that this government and so many people that you probably love are shitty or shitty human beings that look you in the face and tell you they love you. And they go and vote for people that will hurt you, generationally weaponize their vote against you. That is conditional love. It is. We all need to call it out. You're either an ally or you're not. My ally award goes to Charles Barkley. I love. I love people with conviction. That is, like, my number one thing that I look for in people. And Charles Barkley, like, I love you for that. All right, that's all we have, please. A great way to support our channel is to purchase my book. You can click the link right below pre order it. It's called Not Today Fascists. The fascists are the homophobes. They've always been the homophobes. They will forever be the homophobes. We will see you all later. I'll tell you what I've had it with. Let's hear it. I've had it with that.
