Meet Juan Naula. When his son was hospitalized for a

viral infection, Juan started a GoFundMe to
Angie
pay for medical expenses.
Jennifer
It was 5k to pay the bill
for my son, and I need only 22 hours.
It was amazing. People really trust on GoFundMe. How did Juan raise $5,000 in less than a day?
Angie
He posted a short video on GoFundMe telling his story in 30 seconds.
Jennifer
30 seconds.
Be specific, be quick and tell. What are you going to be using the funds for?
I was nervous to do it because
it doesn't feel okay to ask money.
But you shouldn't be nervous. Sometimes you just have to do it and see the results. We were able to save my son's life thanks to gofundme that we still have my son with us. Start your GoFundMe today at gofundme.com that's

So are we supposed to start the podcast?
Angie
Ready? 1, 2, 3.
Jennifer
Patriots, gay trots, Theatriots. Black Trio, Brown Trio. We love you, Maga. All the maga freaks. All the triple trumpers can do what? Pumps. Pumps. What have you had it with?
Angie
Okay, I've had it. And this might just be my ignorance. I mean, there's always that possibility, but I've had it. I've been watching a lot of this World cup soccer coverage, and they keep
Jennifer
saying, I'm gonna stop you right there. These are going to be banked.
Angie
Oh, okay.
Jennifer
For. For when I'm gone. And so I think, won't the World cup be over?
Kylie
Or.
Jennifer
Or if you can start it with, say, when I was watching. Okay, so it sounds like a week ago. Okay, go ahead.
Angie
Okay. So one thing I've noticed a lot when I'm watching sports coverage, they feel alive. I just. I feel alive. And I'm just like, is that a really good descriptor because aren't we all alive? Am I just nitpicking? But it feels like you should say, you know, I feel great, but I feel alive. Doesn't really. I don't think that's a good descriptor character. So I've had it with that as conveying how someone feels. I just don't think it conveys much.
Jennifer
So who says this? The sports caster. The pundit. The sports pendant says they feel alive.
Angie
The team, you can just tell they feel alive. I'm like, well, don't we all feel alive?
Jennifer
I think it's a nuance. I think it's like, of course we're all alive, but I think it's like a nuance. And feeling alive, like you really. Or feeling the moment, it's like a turn of phrase.
Angie
Okay.
Jennifer
I don't think it's literal.
Angie
I guess I'm taking it literally because I'm just like, well, of course. But I. I guess you're right. Like, no, like, even I.
Jennifer
You're an idiot. I think it's a turn of phrase. I think it's like, God, I felt so alive. I think it's like a turn of phrase meaning, like, I felt like, peak being alive. And. And it's like when you see. It's no different from when people say, I show you something and it's. You're, like, so flabbergasted, but you go, oh, my God, I am dead. You're not literally dead.
Angie
And I do say that all the time.
Jennifer
I think that that's the opposite end of that.
Angie
Okay, so like I said, I could be an. But it just kept striking me.
Jennifer
Sometimes I think I feel more alive than I do. Other times I think it's like, like, you know, we have these mundane, boring lives most of the time. Most like, you know, I'm sitting at a computer researching for episodes or paying bills or walking from A to B. It's, you know, it's. It's pretty boring most of the time. And then you go to, like, a concert or you go to a sporting event and you experience this connectedness and the shared humanity. It's like, God, I feel alive because it's. It's a more elevated sense of being than it was, you know, just going to pick up your dry cleaning.
Angie
Maybe I'm just dead inside, which is not off the table.
Jennifer
I. I would be right there with you. We could make a huge argument for both of us. Okay? I have had it with the ladies of Maga that preach breeding and preach trad wifeism and meanwhile they have full time jobs.
Angie
Yeah.
Jennifer
And number two are married to the biggest trad wives on the planet. Let me give you a prime example. Usha Vance, Usha podcaster, breeder extraordinaire.
Angie
Yeah.
Jennifer
From immigrant parents, has beautiful mixed race children. I've seen pictures of their kids, they're quite darling. She is married too, and she talks about family and having a whole bunch of kids and stuff like that. She is married to a submissive prostitute that wears eyeliner named Smokey Eye sociopath JD Vance. Second example here is Katie Miller. Katie Miller goes on and on about breeding and it's so addicting to hold a baby. Like, I mean she literally acts like she is Dora the explorer that just discovered breeding. I mean it's lost on her that there's like 7, 8 billion people on the planet and this has been going on for literal, you know, millions of years. But her husband is the most submissive freak show on the planet. Like, it's not like Stephen Miller could put his name on the ballot and put his ideas out there and go run for office and get a vote or two. I mean, Jesse Waters would vote for him, but beyond that it wouldn't. And then if you look at like Riley Gaines. Riley Gaines talks about breeding and babies and traditional family. The same with Caroline Levitt. Well, they all have these full time jobs. And what gets me the most about Riley Gaines is the one thing that she cares so much about. Trans people. She literally would have zero career zero without the existence of trans people. Zero. She, she, she brings nothing to the table other than her grievance that she tied for fifth place with a trans athlete.
Angie
That's it. I mean, just imagine if she tied with a biological woman. She would not be all over Fox News. She would not be doing any of this. And here's another thing.
Jennifer
Caesar should be a fifth place loser in maga. You can lose and fail forward.
Angie
Look at her. Dear leader. He has failed forward and lost more than any other person on planet earth because daddy had a lot of money and he just kept failing forward. But all of these women, what's so interesting is they, they don't see the hypocrisy or do you think that they do see the duplicity and they're just, well, I mean, it's good for me. I can do it. But then again, I'm so special and
Jennifer
I'm chosen at letting people off the hook. I think there's a lot of willful cruelty, willful denial, and I think there's a lot of Intention. I'm not one of these believers where people play naivete or list excuses for the cruelty in which they engage as a reach around to get out of it. I. I am a believer in personal accountability, and I think they know exactly what they're doing. And yes, they believe they are better. And yes, they believe they are special because they're bigots to their core. And this is a through line of bigots. And bigots oftentimes then try to claim ignorance or naivete. Oh, I didn't think I was a racist. No, I don't think I'm racist. Well, racist. Of course they do. Of course they know they are. The actions of a lot of these people of the Trump administration are intentional. It's all. It's intentional moral rot. It's intentional collapse. And the people that I have known that have been acquaintances that are, you know, somewhat bigoted or white supremacists, they absolutely know they are, and they enjoy it. You can see the Pavlovian response when they're being cruel. You can see the brain lighting up like they're on some drug. You can see that they enjoy it. I mean, you can see. I'm sure if you hook them up to an MRI while they're being shitty to other people, it's hidden like cocaine in the brain. I've seen it. I've witnessed it my whole life being around. They like it. There's. There. There's a preference for this.
Angie
Yeah, no, the judgmental part. I remember, I mean, just from my experience, like, being shitty, like, especially in college, being shitty, like, I liked it. I got a charge off of it. So I have to agree with you on that.
Jennifer
Yeah. All right, welcome. I've had it. I'm Jennifer.
Angie
I'm Angie.
Jennifer
Kylie.
Kylie
Hi. I have one review for you, and they say I unfortunately have to live with my idiot MAGA mom and her idiot MAGA boyfriend while I save for my own place. One of their batshit nutball conspiracy theorist youtuber idiots was playing a clip of Jennifer telling Maga to fuck off as I was listening to this episode. So I turned up the volume from the kitchen full blast as y' all were going on about Big Titty Brian and Maga not standing for shit. Oh, and my mom's idiot MAGA boyfriend is Mexican, yet he voted for Trump three times and supports ICE as a Mexican man.
Jennifer
Wow, that's really.
Angie
You know, it's everywhere. It really is.
Jennifer
This is where you have to realize that, like, there are broken, broken and dysfunctional people everywhere, and they can be Women, they can be gay, they can be Mexican, they can be black, they can certainly, as we know, as we see on full display, white. Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. The ringleaders of all of that, I think are white people. And the dysfunctional people have all coalesced around power. And I think that we have to as a people, like, I want leaders that are smarter than me, I want leaders that are more patient than me. I want the biggest dork that's never made a be in their lives that declined going to all of the raving parties that I went to and stayed out till 2am dancing my ass off, cutting a rug on the dance floor. I went to people that said, no, I have a final exam tomorrow, I'm going to stay in and study tonight. And I was like, what a dork. And I want those people in charge of everything. I want to elevate expertise and in, in the brokenness that these people have, whether it be from religious, you know, fissures or, you know, inter, you know, probably a lot of it is always goes back to the family dynamic. Our parents screwed us up, their parents screwed them up, etc, your mommy not loving you or your daddy not loving you, they found a home in this dysfunction. And my problem with MAGA is it gives a permission structure for people to cave to their worst impulses and that's a really bad thing for humanity. We need politicians that call on us to halt our worst impulses and pause and play the tape through and lean into our better impulses. And a prime example of this are the Obamas. Whether you listener, if you're like a far leftist and you, you know, whatever. I'm not talking about their politics, I'm talking about them as examples, as human beings. Like when I hear Obama speak, he's mindful, he's thoughtful, he's tempered, he's measured. The same with Michelle Obama. These are incredible examples of how to model parenthood, how to model marriage, how to model friendship, and how to model being a human being. And I think it's good for us to see that in motion.
Angie
I agree.
Jennifer
Right now we just have the biggest freaks on the planet. My God, I mean, you got Mexican people out there voting, you know, when mass deportations now, and they're voting against their own interests. The same with a lot of these white women, white educated women, 40% voted for Trump. And then uneducated white men, they're going to end up dying, you know, or people they love are going to end up dying because of these policies.
Angie
Yeah, it's everywhere. The voting against your own interest is a, a skill that I think the Republican and, and I'm not saying that Democrats have always delivered. I'm just saying you see it so much like women that will vote for someone that will take away their rights, Mexican people that will vote for someone that wants to deport them regardless of their legal status and or criminal history. It just, it's over and over and over and over again. I find that to be a very interesting part of our lifetime. There's so, there's so many different parts that I think the history books will be thick on this, but I think that has to be one of them.
Jennifer
Yeah, I totally agree, but it's not new. It's not new that people vote against their best interest and fall prey to propaganda. And the Republican Party has been doing this for such a long time and they have brilliantly weaponized culture war issues and family value stuff. If we had a true robust Democratic party with balls of steel right now, they would be ripping the out of them. Daily press conferences about what a hypocrite, what a submissive little housewife. And I do mean House wife Speaker of the House Moses Mike Grinder Johnson is. He is a submissive housewife and the Democrats should get on TV and say it every single day. They should just do reputational brand damage to these people. All right, let's get out of politics for a little bit and let's get to the meat and potatoes of this podcast. Okay, here's a headline from the Cut I read my boyfriend's diary. Should I tell him? The woman goes on to say the following Pop this Up I found an entry from shortly after we officially became a couple. He wrote, my only problem is my eyes still wonder. I wonder what my life would be like if I settled with someone else. She says, I was blindsided. I remember this period of our relationship well. When we started dating, I was so, so obsessed with him. He was all I thought about. I felt so gratified to have found someone with whom I didn't have to look past terrible things in order to date. I didn't have to give up all my standards. Honestly, he's still a perfect partner. I've never had any reason to question anything in our relationship. So when I saw his diary entry, I was both surprised and hurt. I feel like it's natural to experience wandering eyes after being in a relationship for a while. But in the beginning, that feels like maybe he didn't feel as in love with me as I felt with him. What do I do? I want to bring it up to soothe my anxieties. But in order to have a conversation about his wandering eyes, I have to confess to reading his private journal. Do I keep it to myself and just hope that he's still not thinking about all of this?
Angie
Here's the deal. I don't think it's right to read the journal. I myself would have done a complete deep dive, copy paste, flowcharted this journal. Do I wish that I could say after all the therapy and evolution in my life that if I had a partner right now and saw their journal sitting there, I would love to say, I will bet every single thing in my life that I love that I wouldn't read it. I probably would. I just would. But I would never ever, ever, ever make the mistake of ever acting like I read it. Of ever giving anybody a clue that I read it. Maybe you know, subtly in different ways, but there is no fucking way that I would say. John, I just want you to know I read your diary and I'm wondering why you had wondering eyes when I'm so in love with you. It's over O v r the minute that word comes out of your mouth, in my opinion.
Jennifer
So you really think you would read it and then not whistleblow on yourself? Based on all of our experience, Right?
Angie
I. I know that you're going to say I whistleblow on myself all the time. I know that's coming. But I would not whistleblow.
Jennifer
Okay, I'm going to support you in that. I am. But I just want to remind you of our 25 plus year history of conducting investigations into either Your husband or my husband. Snooping our noses into places that we 100% had no business snooping our nose into. But we would go do it again today if we had the opportunity.
Angie
Right?
Jennifer
And each and every time we conducted said investigations within a matter of five to 10 minutes, you were whistleblowing.
Angie
Okay, I just. I'm gonna defend myself. Just a touch on this.
Jennifer
Okay? All right. You should.
Angie
I, like. It was early on in the destruction of my life, in the careening mess of my life, that I asked about the bacon at ihop. When you said, don't do it, don't do it, I got better at it. Not fast, but I did get better at not ratting myself out.
Jennifer
So, like you, I would for sure. As much as. For sure, the younger Jennifer, 100% would have read the journal. Now, I would be tortured at this stage. I think I would be kind of tortured if Josh had a journal sitting on the nightstand or in a drawer that. That I could easily access. I think it would take me a lot longer. But old habits die hard. Old toxins die hard. And I think ultimately I would go be a nosy little and read the whole thing. I would like to think that I had enough chill to never admit it, but I think the great bargain I would make with myself is I would manipulate myself into something like this. You know, Josh, I sat there for, like, two or three weeks, and I was, like, not going to read it, not going to read it, not going to read it. But then I thought you were acting kind of blah, blah. Maybe you'd relapse. I would do something messy. But then I would justify the whole thing by saying I'm purging myself and I'm just coming clean. I'm not gonna lie. I'm not gonna make this worse. I'm just going to say secrets keep me sick. And I'm not going to keep the secret anymore that I read your Bible and. Bible. I read your journal.
Angie
What?
Jennifer
But we don't even have a Bible. I don't know what I'm talking about. That I read your journal, and so I'm just going to purge. I read it, and I saw that you weren't that into me, and I'm mad about it. I think I would just. That would. That would be the grand bargain that I would make, that I was going to just purge all the toxicity with the truth, and I would get to have the confrontation.
Angie
I think that's great rationalization because you thought something was up with you, and. And I. I felt it, that there Was something up with you? And you have left me with no choice. But I do think it's easier to invade people's privacy when there's something fucked up going on. Like in my case, marriage wise, it was the only reasonable choice is to get into his personal business. But I think if you're in a super healthy relationship and everything's great. I think some people cannot read it. I really do. I think some people cannot read it. I'm not that person.
Jennifer
When, when Josh was in the throes of his addiction and gaslighting was ubiquitous and traumatizing and created a sense of disorientation as to how I oriented my reality. It was so harmful to my being and, and my serenity to be lied to. And anybody listening who has had an alcoholic or a drug addict in your life. You know how what a mind it is to have somebody just lying to you and telling you what you saw didn't happen or what you heard didn't happen. And it really is disorienting. And I resorted to being a full blown in private investigator because I wanted to find out what was true and what wasn't. I wanted to confirm that I was being lied to and he was toxic. I chose him. Which exposes some of my toxicity in choosing somebody that was broken. And we had, you know, just a. We went through a lot of problems. As I said when this first came around, this subject today, Josh and I don't. If he, I, I genuinely. It would take something for me to think he's relapsed in order to read his journal.
Angie
I agree with you. I don't know that you would dive right.
Jennifer
I don't know that I would. I don't check in on him. We talk, you know, when he's in Oklahoma and I'm in New York where we're not together. We text in the morning, you know, good morning, have a great day. Love you. And then we do a FaceTime at night and that's it. I don't, I, I can track him on my phone. I never look to see where he is. And it's such a. My life. When he was in the throes of his addiction, was that. Is he lying? What is he doing? Is he right? Is he going to come home? Is he. Is he buying drugs? Is he drinking?
Angie
Is he.
Jennifer
He's just all of this static and these just felt so unstable and so exposed. And now I feel safe and secure and all of these things. But my safety and my security is different now than what I ever imagined it would be because it's not contingent upon Josh's sobriety anymore. When I was younger and weaker, it was. It was completely contingent upon his sobriety. But I've evolved in such a way out of toxic thinking and codependent thinking and dysfunctional thinking and. And habits. I've evolved in such a way that now, as much as I would hate it if he relapsed, it's really. It's not going to affect my serenity. It just. It's. I've evolved to such a place that my healing from all of the trauma from his addiction is now truly complete, because it's about me, and I have no control over any of. Any of that. And for many, many, many, many, many years of my life, I lived with this uneasy foundation that if he relapsed or he, you know, doctor shopped or did any of the things, that it would rock the very foundation that I sit on. And that's a really miserable way to live. But here's the thing. It's so incredibly common, whether it's your husband's a gambling addict, a sex addict, a poor porn addict, alcoholic, a drug addict, or just completely toxic and broken. Relationships are really complicated and really broken, and there's no life training for them. You really have to give yourself on the job training when you're in the middle of these things. And, you know, then you got to go to therapy and you got to go back and deal with little Jennifer, and then all the. And then finally you get to a place where, you know, the sun kind of sets on all of it and you, like, I'm really genuinely happy. So I don't know. It's hard for me to say that because, my God, for years I would have loved to just sink my teeth into his diary, but now it feels super toxic. Like, I would feel super toxic doing that.
Angie
I think. I really believe this. I think that you wouldn't, because I. And I. I've witnessed the investigation and all that, because you all are in such a good, healthy, strong place. And I think a lot of that goes to, you know, all the work that you have both. You have both done. But I think in any relationship, whether there's addiction or not, if you feel super secure and safe, you don't. The desire to read it is diminished.
Jennifer
Right. I agree with you.
Angie
It just is. So that's why I think I would hope that I could do it. But we all know that even if I were to get in a relationship, the toxic person in the relationship is probably always Going to be me. So that negates that. You know, you don't think. You.
Jennifer
You don't think that pumps. Now, if you were in a relationship with somebody, you couldn't help yourself.
Angie
I would again say 100. I could.
Jennifer
You'd read it.
Angie
I'd read it.
Jennifer
You'd call me, and then you'd read it to me. And then you'd screenshot it. And then you'd screenshot it. Say, you're a better dramatic reader than me. Will you dramatically read it? I'm going to screenshot it.
Angie
First question. Would you read it back because you're in such a much healthier state?
Jennifer
No. 100% I would. I'm not that sanctimonious. For God's sake.
Angie
You know, you shouldn't.
Jennifer
Here's the thing. I'm like 90%. I wouldn't read the diary. But this gal in this cut article, she felt insecure. And your. Your point is brilliant about all of that.
Angie
It.
Jennifer
All of that is. Is predicated on security, both with yourself and who you are and the relationship. Because security has to be distributed across multiple different baskets. You know, you have financial security, you have security in. In. In your own self confidence and relationship security. And whenever the insecurity or doubt seeps in, all games are off. I mean, it's. Read the Bible. Screenshot it. Live read it.
Kylie
Yeah.
Jennifer
What I say Bible.
Angie
Bible again.
Jennifer
Jesus Christ. Isn't he the main character of that? The Bible.
Angie
That's funny.
Jennifer
The Bible, the diary, whatever. Okay. All right. Yeah.
Kylie
That's.
Jennifer
That's a pretty good. That was a good story. Kylie and Ryan.
Kylie
That's.
Jennifer
Those are good conversations. What would you do, Kylie? Anna has. Anna has a journal on her nightstand. Do you read it or not?
Kylie
I've been that person.
Jennifer
Like the reader or the journal.
Kylie
I have been the reader.
Jennifer
Snooper.
Kylie
I've been the snooper. And then we've been together like five years. I have been shocked at how different I am now. I am the exact same as you. Is like I actually will not be the reader. And I look back and I cringe that I was so. Which is growth. And that's good.
Angie
That is good.
Kylie
Like right now I am. Truly. You couldn't pay me to read it.
Jennifer
Yeah. See, that's really good.
Kylie
Yeah.
Jennifer
Which is because you're secure.
Kylie
It is. That means. That means we're in a good spot.
Angie
Yeah.
Jennifer
That's okay. Pumps and I will break into your apartment. We'll read it, and then we'll do a dramatic reading on it.
Angie
Guy. That's leaving his journal around. Hide that better, can I?
Jennifer
Here's the deal. He can hide it as much as he wants to. Hell hath no fury like a woman's ability to hawk out something like that. Like a heat seeking missile. Look no further to the many investigations that you and I conducted, pops.
Angie
Yeah, I know, but I'm just saying, like, if I were journaling and saying that I would, I would hide it better than he did. Now, I'm not saying somebody couldn't find it if they wanted to, because I found that I didn't even know exist. Places in my house that I didn't even know were at my house.
Jennifer
Like the.
Angie
No idea. But I just think she doesn't say in the article that she like moved heaven and earth to find it. Like, here's what have happened. What this is. What would I would have done. I would have seen him writing in the journal and then it would have been top of mind every single minute of every hour that I was awake and probably dreamed about it too, to find that journal. I don't know, I'd probably fall him to work. I'd go through his car while he would like. There would be no stone left unturned. It doesn't say that she did that. So it kind of feels like he just kind of left it in plain sight. Maybe I'm wrong, but no, I would have found that no matter what.
Jennifer
And here's my thing. I also think her complaint about what he wrote reveals a lot of insecurity. Of course he still has a wondering eye. Just because you're on a diet doesn't mean you can't read the menu.
Angie
Agree.
Jennifer
Spoiler alert. Listener. I have a wondering.
Kylie
Everyone does.
Jennifer
I like to watch men's tennis, primarily. I do love the sport. I think they're hot as in their little outfits. I quite enjoy it. Josh will be on Instagram and he like is like, God, Dua Lipa is so hot. And I'm like, oh my God, she so is I. Of course you have a wondering eye. It's just a part of the human experience. So in this instance, although it's juicy conversation about what would you do about the diary. And I think that, you know, it's all predicated upon how secure you are and how secure relationship is. This whole thing is for this particular entry she sounds insecure, which is why she read the book and then her reaction to the wondering eye. I think she he's got a punter. I think she needs to be broken up with. Yeah, I think she needs to go to therapy, because there's a lot of things that hurt my feelings. But a wandering eye is just something you have to accept. Yeah. And people have. Find other people attractive. That's just a part. And I think it's when you try to hide that from your partner that. That feeds a lot of toxicity. I think it's far healthier. Like, Josh can tell me, oh, my God, there's this. There's this Danish actress or sentimental value. Y' all know the movie that was nominated for Oscar. Anyway, the main gal that's in that. She's a European. Josh is like, that is my number one crush. I love this gal so much. And I, you know, watch me. I was like, oh, my God, she's a dol. And he knows that I like. There's this tennis player. He's Italian. He's 6 foot 5. Smoke show D. Lux. His name is Mateo Baratini. Patriots, go ahead and straightriot. Women, go ahead and just do a little insta search up Mateo Baratini. Go ahead and do a deep dive. Hot exclamation point. Six foot five. And we know pumps. When they're over six foot four. They're what drops to the floor. So, I mean, here's the thing. And pumps. And I say this readily in front of Josh. He knows that I'm not going to cheat on him, and I'm not going to cheat on Josh, not only because I respect him in our marriage, but it's deeper than that. I'm not going to do that because I have to live with it. I have to put my head on the pillow at night. And it's deeper than just my feeling for Josh is something I don't want to live with. I don't want to have that secret or capitulate to that that causes wreckage and damage. And so I think this gal who found the diary, which. Not that big of a crime there. I mean, you know, blah. But getting. Getting, you know, butt hurt over the wondering eyes. I think she's got to go. I think he's got to cut her legs. And then. And then she. And then on top of all that, she submits the whole thing into the cut for everybody to comment on it.
Angie
Right.
Jennifer
Have a stage five situation here. She's got to go.
Angie
She's out.
Jennifer
She's got to go.
Angie
She's out.
Jennifer
She needs. But. But for her benefit, I know how insecure you can feel as a woman. I felt that. Oh, I want her to go find her serenity and find a more stable relationship and Be, you know, because it's such a miserable place to be when you're insecure like that. God, I've lived that.
Angie
Yeah, same.
Jennifer
All right, moving along to the next story, Hollywood is producing its first ever AI led feature film. Pop this up. This is from Variety. Tilly Norwood to lead new movie Misaligned, marking feature debut for AI actor. SAG Aftra condemned Norwood in September, saying she's, quote, not an actor, but a computer generated character trained on the work of countless real performers without permission or compensation. The film will reportedly be produced through a hybrid of humans and AI, with human directors, writers and editors alongside AI specialists. To me, this sounds like one of the worst movies of all time, and Variety is supporting that. Misaligned, announced by Particle 6, the AI focused studio behind Norwood is described as a comedy drama telling a coming of age story infused with existential AI chaos. Set inside the so called Tillyverse, a surreal digital world located somewhere up in the cloud. The film will follow Tilly, an AI being with no real body, no childhood, and no lived experiences of her own. Only to act, only access to everyone else's things. Spiral when a seductive rogue bot from the Dark Web convinces her to abandon her guardrails and begin developing desires, impulses and ambitions, making her more human. Its creator, Elaine Vandervelden, insists that this is a good thing. Let's play the clip. I'm Tilly Norwood, the world's first AI actor. Come and work with me. So we are looking for all sorts of people, you know, entry level to, you know, more senior, from the traditional film and TV industry. We like people with experience and bringing that experience into this new art form with AI. So we're looking for comedy writers, we're looking for production coordinators, and we've given them all really funky, funky job names because it's a whole new, a new era of creativity.
Angie
I guess my question would be why if you're going to have to crowdsource that many people and get all that just to hire the actors to do it? Like, this is why I hate AI. This is so unnecessary. The guard rails are gone. You hear about that all the time with AI staff. It, it just, this just seems like I understand AI's here. I understand that I will never understand why people love it so much. I get that. But to me, this just seems like I never want to see this movie because I like stories that are character driven, that are relatable. Like, I just, I just hate all this. Hate it, hate it. Had it.
Jennifer
I'm with you. So here's an interesting conversation to have about this. So SAG condemned Norwood in September, saying she's not an actor. They use the pronoun she's. And maybe I'm just going to get completely ripped. But I mean, it's just another week in America that Jennifer gets ripped online for. She says, because I have a undefeated ability to walk right into it foot and mouth. But should we be assigning humanity to these non existent AI bots? Shouldn't we call them? It's. Should we call Norwood? And it does. Has she earned that pronoun? Does this make me sound like a conservative? You guys don't. Do I? No. Do I. Do I sound like a concern?
Kylie
No, you don't.
Jennifer
Do I sound like a moderate?
Kylie
You do. If I cut it out.
Angie
Sound like a centrist.
Jennifer
Do I sound like a centrist? But I don't think it gets to be a she. I think this is an it. This is not a human being. This is an it attaching she's. He's humanizes all of it.
Kylie
And it. It leads to these kids in these relationships with their AI.
Jennifer
I think. I think these AI act actors need to be called it's.
Angie
I agree. Tilly.
Jennifer
Norwood is an it.
Kylie
Just picturing Fox News.
Jennifer
Am I maga? Is that maga?
Kylie
Jennifer?
Jennifer
You guys, tell me the truth.
Kylie
Jennifer Welch refuses to use she. Her only it with no other context.
Jennifer
I just, I don't think that they should be humanized.
Kylie
I agree with you.
Jennifer
I just, I don't. I don't see it as a she. I think that when I, when I read that sentence there before I went on to read all the other, I was like, she.
Angie
Why does she get to be a she? Why does it get to be she?
Jennifer
What is it? Yeah. And I think that's. That's going to be my main push. I agree. Anti pronouns for AI characters. It needs to be in it.
Angie
I think you're right. And that's not a point that I would have thought of. But I think it's the smartest one.
Jennifer
Maybe the five will invite me on in studio to discuss it in person.
Angie
No way.
Jennifer
No. You don't think so?
Angie
Eat them for lunch.
Jennifer
I want to be on five so bad.
Angie
They know it because they know you're smart.
Jennifer
I want to sit right next to Jesse.
Angie
They'll. It'll. I love that.
Jennifer
Like, yeah.
Angie
Because that would be theater. But you. Absolutely. They know you're smarter than them. A better communicator. And you're. You are more correct than they are. Do what meaner and you're American. You're more American than they are and they know it. You're more patriotic. I'm just throwing that in for shits and giggle. But no, there's no way. They. They're terrified of you. That's why I think you're on there all the time. They're scared you are the.
Jennifer
Well, I think I'm on there all the time because they don't want to talk about, number one, they are scared of white liberal women because they're scared of smart Stephen Colbert and Jimmy. Jimmy Kimmel and like that. But I want to be on there. All right, listen, we gotta go, we gotta go, we gotta go. It's time up. It's just absolutely time. I've order my book. Not today, fascists. I want to dedicate this to my former toxic self that conducted all the investigations into my ex husband. No, I'm just kidding. I'll dedicate it to Pups. No, I'm just kidding there too. I really want to dedicate it to Usha Vance. So you think. You are a fascist and you don't have to be Usha. All right, we'll see you guys whenever we see you. Which will probably be tomorrow. I'll tell you what I've had it with. I've had it with that.

Podcast: I've Had It
Hosts: Jennifer Welch & Angie “Pumps” Sullivan
Episode: The MAGA Maternity Grift
Date: July 21, 2026
In this episode, Jennifer and Angie dig into the hypocrisies and contradictions of the so-called "MAGA tradwife" trend, in which women on the far-right publicly promote traditional family values and high birth rates while pursuing careers and marriages that defy the very values they preach. With characteristic wit and candor, the hosts examine the intentionality behind this cultural and political grift, commenting on broader issues of performative bigotry, voting against self-interest, and the decline of genuine leadership. The episode also veers into juicy territory about snooping in partners' diaries, the introduction of AI actors in Hollywood, and the complexities of relationship security.
On MAGA hypocrisy:
"She is married to a submissive prostitute that wears eyeliner named Smokey Eye sociopath JD Vance."
— Jennifer [05:28]
On the turn of phrase "feeling alive":
"You're an idiot. I think it's a turn of phrase."
— Jennifer to Angie [03:38]
On intentional bigotry:
"Of course they know they are. The actions of a lot of these people of the Trump administration are intentional. It's all. It's intentional moral rot. It's intentional collapse."
— Jennifer [08:01]
On the urge to snoop:
"I probably would [read the diary]. I just would. But I would never ever, ever, ever make the mistake of ever...acting like I read it."
— Angie [20:28]
On leadership:
"I want the biggest dork that's never made a B in their lives...I want those people in charge of everything. I want to elevate expertise..."
— Jennifer [11:51]
On anthropomorphizing AI:
"Should we be assigning humanity to these non existent AI bots? Shouldn't we call them its? ...Does this make me sound like a conservative?"
— Jennifer [39:59]
The episode is irreverent, biting, and deeply candid—unafraid to call out hypocrisy, expose their own flaws, and riff on pop culture with comedy and honesty. Both Jennifer and Angie combine sharp social commentary with real talk about relationships, addiction, and self-growth, while maintaining plenty of humor.
This episode of “I’ve Had It” isn’t just a takedown of the latest MAGA hypocrisy but a lively ride through cultural contradictions, relationship insecurities, and the absurdities of modern life. Jennifer and Angie manage to connect the grifts of the political right to universal questions of honesty, security, self-delusion, and what it means to be real—whether in relationships or in Hollywood.
