Okay, what I've had it with, and I know we've talked about it before, but I'm really fired up about it right now. What I've had it with is you pay for streaming services, so you're paying for it. They're not putting ads in it. And they don't release all the shows at once. And they slow drip the episodes one week at a time. So everybody right now is talking about the White Lotus. I'm not talking about it because I haven't seen it because I have to wait until I can binge watch it. And I feel like Netflix spoiled this. And then we're paying for these services. We should get all the shows at once. I've had it.

I agree. I mean, like, we're way past Being patient. And the slow drip approach is so 1980s.

Like, I mean, it's like, do we get our VCR out and record it? I mean, come on, this is Trump's America. Yes. And. And we desperately need an entire episode because we need a respite from all of the fuckery that comes with living in a country with that man being elected. And we need to be able to just turn our phones off and watch, binge watch a show for eight or nine hours straight.

Yeah, I blame it on Trump, of course. But here's the thing I don't understand. Explain it to me. Why, if I'm paying for the show and I'm. I'm. I'm sorry, if I'm paying for the streaming service, why they just can't give me all the shows at once, why do they have to do it like network television? Tv, which is sponsored by ads. Seems like a double dip to me.

Well, I think the purpose of it is. I mean, it's obviously like, it builds probably more viewership because people talk about it. Oh, did you see what happened? Oh, you can catch up. From a marketing standpoint, I get it.

From a selfish standpoint, I don't like it. But. And I will say this, I do think it's probably better for us as a species to have them slow drip, because we're not meant to sit and stare at a screen for eight or nine hours. It's really a part of the genesis of this entire problem that led us to this here very moment. But the selfish person in me that wants a respite from all of this insanity that is maga. I want to be able to binge watch. But I get it. I get why there is a civilized approach to not binging on something to moderate our consumption of something to build hype around. Something like, I'm watching Severance, and my son and I watch one episode at a time, and then we get on TikTok together and we go see how everybody's analyzed it, and it's. And we look forward to doing this once a week together, and I really enjoy that time with him. So I get both sides.

Yeah, it makes sense what you're saying about creating hype, but my thing is I'm impatient, and I need a release, and I can't think past myself.

Right. All right, I'll tell you what I've had it with. I've had it with the normalization of Nazism. In the United States of America. We have in our country a man who clearly owns Donald Trump and his name is Elon Musk and he was born in South Africa. And he comes over here and he gets a bunch of taxpayer funded subsidies that in essence helps him become allegedly one of the richest men in the world. He starts doing a bunch of drugs, trips out, is under all sorts of investigation. The only way he can get out of these investigations is to be transactional with the most transactional, morally bankrupt, diabolical dipshit on the planet named Donald Trump. So all of that works out in his favor and they both avoid investigations, jail time, etc, primarily because they're white and rich. But then he starts doing Nazi salutes and then Steve Bannon does Nazi salutes. And then if you go over to Trump's True Social, they have, they're promoting the pink triangle, which is what Hitler put on gay men that they then sent to the concentration camps. And we're all acting like it's normal, talking about the budget for Congress. And I'm like, they're fucking Nazis. And I, I just, I've had it with this paralysis that seems to have hit the United States. And if you get online and you see Europe, they're like, America, why are you guys not in the streets? And recently they had a French election, I mean, in the last few months, and the people in the French parliament refused to shake hands with the fascists. They refused. And over here on our side, you hear politicians say, oh, we're going to meet with them where we can. You got Governor Gavin Newsom, who I used to adore and really thought he could be president one day, sitting down with Steve Bannon, who does Nazi salutes. And everybody's doing this with impunity. And it's just, I have had it. It's difficult for me at this current time in my life to lean into petty sometimes because the overwhelming nature of the capture of American democracy in real time and sitting here watching it and reporting on it is so devastating. And I, I know that so many people are sleepless and feel the same angst. And then you see them kissing Vladimir Putin's ass. Like, Russia is in a huge recession, massive inflation, military is depleted, and we act like they have leverage over the United States of America and Nat. And then everybody sits and tries to argue these stupid points to stupid dipshit, triple Trump or MAGA people. And I've just fucking had it. I've had it with the normalization of fascism, the normalization of Nazism in any other country on the planet, democracy. If you had a man. And I want you to know, you guys need to know this. Musk lives with Trump, right? He lives at the White House. They are bunk mates. They go everywhere together. And this guy is a Nazi. And if you drive a Tesla, it's a Nazi mobile.

It amazes me how many people are just nonchalant about what's going on in the United States today. It amazes me that all these national security Republicans are pro Putin now. It amazes me that there are not more alarm bells sounding, that an unelected bureaucrat from South Africa is slashing the federal government. I don't think there's any question that Elon Musk is running the country full stop.

Well, absolutely. They are in a dominant who can be world domination tour to, you know, I don't know what they're doing, but they're, they're linked. They're absolutely linked. And Donald Trump is a. He is the biggest idiot I've ever seen at this point. I think crashing the economy and tariffs, no tariffs, tariffs, no tariffs. The economy crashing, recession coming. I think that's what he wants. I think that's what Russia wants.

Donald Trump is a white trash con man who has an online flea market full of riff raffs and knickknacks, as we say in the South. He doesn't know, come here from Sikkim and you have all of these triple Trumpers. And the only politician I've seen consistently fight for the working class is the one person they think is a radical, and that is Bernie Sanders. And he has always stayed on message and he has always spoken out against economic inequality. And you have a situation in this country where the middle class is dissipating and they going to the billionaires who want to suck off of their benefits that they've earned to enrich themselves and they vote against their self interest. And I do not know how you teach stupid people facts. I don't, I don't know how to do that. And I hope the Democrats start to figure it out because we are in. The House is on fire. 911 al alarm bell. I've had it with triple Trumpers. I've fucking had it with the normalization of Nazis. I've had it with everybody acting like Trump is so masculine, I can't even take it anymore. I mean, he is such a titty baby pussy extraordinaire and it is gross. I've had it with triple Trumpers. I don't Want to be around him. When I go places, I look around and I'm like, are they a Trumper? Are they a Trumper? And I don't like feeling this way. It's so disgusting that it's not just like somebody's conservative and. But they still believe in democracy. We're way past that. They're Nazis. And everybody's like, you know, sitting down, doing podcasts with them, and it's just like, this is bananas. I've had it. And some of our congressmen that we've had on Garcia and others. Anyway, I hear some stories. I thought pumps would get a big kick out of this one. Wife killer Scott Peterson assaulted in prison over pickleball. Scott Peterson, convicted for the 2002 murder of his pregnant wife, was involved in a prison brawl over pickleball match at Mule Creek State Prison in Northern California. The altercation occurred after Peterson allegedly hit the ball at another inmate, leading to a physical confrontation. Despite the incident, his injuries were not serious enough to land him in the pos. In the hospital. I've been in similar situations as Scott Peterson. I've been exactly where he's been, just.

I. I found myself in similar situations, you know, because I play with some of these lesbians who are. I'm just going to say it for the permanent record. Lesbians, I think, are better athletes than straight women.

Well documented, at least in my anecdotal tennis slash pickleball world. And anyway, there's this one really good friend of mine named Linda. You know, little Linda.

She is a amazing athlete. She's probably five foot one, and she is so good at pickleball. And I get so mad at her because she'll hit like a clean winner by me. And when I Pick up the ball to hit it back to her so she can serve again. I intentionally take the ball and just target it right at her to hit her with the ball. So I can relate here with a murderer, right? Pickleball makes people fucking crazy.

We can say that's terrifying, but in Trump's America, I guess that's just where we all are. Okay, here's another story. For 200,000, a German startup will freeze your body and attempt to revive you in the future. Over 650 people have already signed up. A German startup, Tomorrow Bio, offers cryonic preservation services freezing bodies post mortem in the hopes of a future revival. It cost €200,000. To date, they've sold this to six individuals and five pets and over 650 clients enrolled in paid membership plans. Upon a client's death, specialized teams initiate the cryo preservation process promptly. To prevent cellular decomposition, the body is cooled and transported to a storage facility, Switzerland, where it is maintained in liquid nitrogen field steel containers. This approach aims to halt biological processes indefinitely, awaiting future technologies capable of reanimation and healing. Okay, so my question to you is, would you do that?

Not unless I could get somebody else's body. Like, could I get like a hot body? Like, okay, we're going to designate this, you know, like Giselle's body for me, Designate that. But otherwise, I think it's just a grift. I think it's like selling plots in heaven kind of thing with the evangelicals. I mean, I just think it's all a grift. But I would reconsider if I thought I could have a really good body. When I came back, I thought about, this is what mine.

And at first I thought, I don't know if I would want to do this. But in connecting this to my original grievance, I would want to do it because I want to come back and watch how much history eviscerates. Elon Musk, Donald Trump, triple Trumpers. And, you know, there was a journalist that went to Nazi Germany in the 80s, and maybe it was even the 70s, and went around asking the older generation, did you vote for Hitler? Did you vote for Hitler? Did you vote for Hitler? They all said no. He couldn't find anybody who supported Hitler. Well, of course, millions of them did vote for Hitler. And I think that that is what is going to happen with this entire thing. And if it doesn't happen in my lifetime, which I think it will, because these people are breathtakingly incompetent. And I do believe that the resistance and the rebellion is forming. And I think it's going to be really difficult for Americans, 340 million Americans, to give up democracy to a man that wears a full face of makeup and who is owned by a untreated drug addict, Elon Musk, who wants to kiss Russia's ass. At the end of the day, I think we're going to find some grit. But if it doesn't happen in my lifetime, I would like to come back and I wouldn't care what my body looked like, I wouldn't care if I was old or any of the stuff. And I would want to be able to binge watch non stop historical documentaries of. I mean, I would want to just inject that into my veins because history is never kind to fascists. History is never kind to autocrats and authoritarians, you fucking triple Trumper greedy dipshits.

You know, I've had that conversation with my kids. Like, I would love to be learning history 100 years from now, like with my great great descendants, great great grand descendants or whatever it is. I would love to know what they're going to learn about this administration and the state of the country. And I'm like, you like, I want the autopsy on the triple Trumpers. Do they say, I mean, do they definitively find that it's a cult and that's what they put in history books? I mean, that's my expectation. But I mean, what they're going, what history is going to say about these people in this administration, I too would want that injected into my veins like the documentaries. I want to read the textbooks, I want to read the treaties. I want to read all of it because it will be fascinating. I don't know that we'll be alive long enough to see.

Spoiler alert. You can also read about World War II and it will have a very similar reporting. And you can read about any takedown of any autocrat or any fascist government. It never ends well. History is never kind to greedy autocrats that are corrupt and don't believe in transparency. And sadly, people don't realize that history in our species actually does repeat itself. Lot of people are reporting on the cult like Nature of Maga and have been since 2017. And when you've, There's a, My mother's a big voracious reader in all of this and there's a lot of psychiatrists and psychologists who have put out tons and tons and tons of reporting on not only Trump's malignant narcissism, but also his followers and how easily manipulated they are, and how much they fall for superficial flattery and how easy it is for them to deny facts. And there's already so much reporting on it, what's left to be revealed is just the nail in the coffin of just what an abject failure this entire Trumpism has been.

They want to cherry pick when they do that. And then you have these dipshes that think they're smarter than doctors and economists and all this shit. And I, I mean, I'm just telling you, I have fucking had it. This is like, I see these triple Trumpers knowing that they have seen the Nazi stuff that they've seen what Trump reposts the anti gay Hitler, Nazi anti gay LGBTQ stuff that he reposts on his true social. And they know that he posts that shit and that they're okay with it. I have a real fucking problem being around people like that. I mean, it is, it is a total seal off for me. I do not want to be around racists. I do not want to be around homophobes. I do not want to be around triple Trumpers. It fucks with my serenity. Too much.

It's the outright Nazi stuff because, I mean, we call our listeners patriots because you can be patriotic about the idea of America and Just because he's president does not take away the fact that we are Americans and can try to cling on to the First Amendment and cling on to a better place for us to live. Look at all of the arts, the sports, the music, the movie, the cinema. All of that shit that we've produced is incredible. It's amazing. All of the. When you think about when you attach your memories as an American to the music, the film, the television, the writing, it's incredible. And then you have dipshit Trump with the Kennedy senator fires anybody who's even remotely creative and appoints Fox News racists and Nazis to be on the board there. The arts that came out of Nazi Germany are not good. You know, creativity. And so here's something else I've had it with. I had it with Triple Trumpers enjoying sports that are dominated by African Americans.

Maybe you should not watch basketball or football anymore.

I think as white people, we need to stand up for the black and brown community and for the gay community and all marginalized communities. We have to stand with them. They. We have to fight with them. Because it's disgusting. The exploitation, particularly in sports that are dominated by African Americans. How they think. You just entertain me. So I have three grievances and I'm go through them really fast. And the first one I'm going to start off with a bang. And that's Evangelical church cults. Okay, Jennifer, I know you're nodding along like some white woman at a Morgan wall in concert right now, but Evangelical church culture cult. I saw one advertised on an 18 wheeler trailer in the middle of Buttfuck, Missouri. How much more white trash could you get than that? And it was called Fireworks with purpose. And then down below it in smaller letters it said belonging, family, faith. It's like they are targeting poor sad millennials who don't have a community and are lonely as hell. It's really sad. I look at those things and it makes me want to solve. Not because I get emotional by it, but because I'm fucking disgusted. Okay, moving on. The next one is like hot people that drive hoopties. If I see someone super hot, like I saw one today, perfect face. I could tell he had a perfect body even though he was sitting down. But then I looked out and he was driving a 1999 gold Nissan Maxima. Lost me in that then there moment. If you're driving a disgusting car, you are not taking advantage of your looks. I immediately think that you're stupid. Okay, moving on. Last but not least is dogs and children being compared. I know that you can love dogs like your children, but they are not the same damn thing. My sister Sarah just had a baby and my other sister Shelby took him up to Sarah's dogs and was like.

One of my favorite things on the planet to browbeat and the one thing that I've had it with above and beyond anything else, is evangelical church culture. It is a pyramid scheme. It is a Ponzi scheme. It is a racket. It is bullshit. It is based on emotional manipulation and emotional blackmail. And I want to tell you guys a story. So when I went back to work after having both of my kids, I needed as an interior designer, I needed a part time assistant to come in like 10, 15 hours a day. And I had. This week. Yeah, I'm sorry, a week. Thank you. Pumps. Dementia. DEI podcast, the D's for dementia. And this was a girl, so it was my husband's legal secretary's friend. And I was, like, desperate because I had to go pick up my kids by a certain time, and it was really difficult to go back to. To work with a baby and a toddler. And so this girl comes to work for me, and one day she comes into the office and she's like, so stressed out, like, visibly. And I'm like, hey, are you okay, Mindy? Are you. Are you gonna. Are you okay? And she had tattoos all over her arms, which I don't give a shit about. She goes, yeah, just, you know, my husband and I just been praying a lot about, you know, if it would be godly for us to get another tattoo. And I'm sitting there.

I'm sitting there looking at her, and then I'm like glancing down at her arms and I kind of look back at her and I'm like, is Ashton Kutcher about to walk in here? Am I getting punked? Like, what the is going on? You're praying about getting a tattoo. You already have 7,500 tattoos on you. I said, well, Mindy, what. What do you mean? She said, well, you know, your body is a temple. And I got these tattoos before. I was saved the second time. And I'm just sitting there thinking, okay, they had three kids. They were dead ass broke. They were total Republicans, totally voted against their own interest. And I thought, this is wild that she is tortured, spending so much emotional time and space and has been to 95 circle jerk Bible study groups about getting a tattoo or not. And then she looked at me and she said, what do you think? I said, well, Mindy, I don't know if you know this, but I'm an atheist, so the whole idea that you're strung out over this just further confirms why I have zero interest in being religious at all. This is insanity. And then another time she comes in late for work and I was kind of pissed because, you know, I'm very punctual, especially in a work setting. And I said, why were you late for work today? You didn't call me. And she said, oh, we go up to this high school and we offer them all donuts in the morning to try to recruit them to come to the church for pizza at lunch. So they prey on high schoolers and they go and give them donuts in, in lower income neighborhoods. Targeted. Yes. And then recruit them to come over to the church to get pizza to try to save them. This is, is extreme exploitation. And the only their biggest argument is if you don't believe the way we do, you're going to burn in hell forever. And then it promotes all of this crazy Christian narcissism. And every evangelical I know has this wild, wild narcissism that God loves them the most, that they are chosen, that they are so exceptional and the rules that apply to everybody else don't apply to them because they're so chosen and they have a personal relationship with Jesus. It's never about helping the poor, helping the sick, not judging. It's only about recruiting people to have the same shallow spiritual foundation that you have, which is A unattractive and B, a total racket and C, damaging to society at large. Look no further than the Donald Trump MAGA base. I hate it.

Yeah, agree. And I was part of it. I grew up in it. So I completely. The narcissism, the entitlement, the I'm better than you, it can't happen to me because I'm better. I'm chosen. That's how I was raised. That's how I believed. So I completely that. And that is my absolute biggest gripe looking back. I mean, obviously have a lot of them not teaching critical thinking skills, no ability to solve problems outside of prayer, which doesn't work, all of those things. But, but the way that I judged the world and other people is such a huge regret for me. And it's all because of the evangelical movement.

But pumps, I think you have to be kind to yourself and not regret that. And here's why. You were indoctrinated by no choice of your own. You were threatened and emotionally bullied and blackmailed to be a certain way. You were never allowed to go be the person that you are now. And as soon as you broke free from that, look at where you found yourself. Look at your authentic self. So don't regret you didn't have a choice in that that was thrust upon you. And so many people die being judgmental and bitter and never find enlightenment. And you have this enlightenment now that you can share with people who are probably tortured by the same faith, the same way you were when I first met you. You were tortured by it. You were not at peace, not nearly like you are now. You aren't. You weren't near the person that you are now. So your story is actually helpful and beneficial for so many people that are indoctrinated into this, you know, mega church pyramid scheme cult, because they don't have a choice to go find enlightenment and to be better people. And when you were given that choice, you did it. So don't have regrets. You're a nice, good person. In this story, there are millions of Americans that were indoctrinated just like you. You. And to give a voice to that on a platform like this, to me, is so helpful. And maybe it was hashtag God's plan.

So if you're gonna ask to eat with me, if you're gonna have the pleasure of my presence while you're eating a meal, you better come with a suggestion. And if I suggest something and then you say no, you better come up with a backup or an alternative and don't even get me started on the food allergies or the diet. You got somebody that's keto asking if you want to eat with them? Fuck no. I'm not gonna have you forcing your diet upon me. That's fucked up. Anyways, I'm headed to In N Out right now. So when my ex husband and I were dating, so the law office that I worked at, we were 11 o'clock lunchers. Like, we went to lunch, strike the bell at 11, somewhat like we do now. So he would always call and say, hey, do you want to go to lunch? And I'd say, oh, well, we have plans, but you can come with us. And so he'd say, okay, can we go at 11:45 or can we go at noon and can we go this place? So he changed the place and changed the time.

So typical. And so I came out of my office one day and my law partner was like him, he can either come with us or he didn't have to come with us. We're not changing our shit. This is what we do. He knows this is what we do. And I was like, right on. That's exactly how I feel with this. Like, if you want to come with me, this is where we're going. And I have a friend like this that we all conspire. We pick a restaurant and then we don't say, where do you want to go? It is, we are going here, and here's the time we're going. Come or don't come. Like, those are your options. We don't leave it up for discussion. We don't want any input. Either you come or you don't.

Yeah, I. I relate to that. But the part that he was talking about reminded me of something where he talks about where he has. When he finishes breakfast, he's talking about lunch. When he finishes lunch, he's talking about dinner. So when we. When you were married to the same person that would hijack your lunches and we went to Mexico a few times together for Thanksgiving. Your family is very meal focused, right? Like, when are we going to breakfast? When are we going to breakfast? We have to go to breakfast. And then we would go to breakfast. And it's like I remember sitting, watching and it was like, I mean it was like a southern cholesterol plate. Piles of bacon, piles of sausage, piles of eggs, then French toast and all this stuff. And I remember looking at Josh going, going, God, this is something else. I mean these are like, this is a major, major, major meal. And I would watch her ex husband eat about four pieces of food. And then at the end of the breakfast and I'm sitting there mesmerized, like, how can somebody eat this much in the morning? And then I'm watching him and then he would go, God, that was great. Where do y'all think you want to hit lunch today? Down on the beach or back up and here you think maybe we'll go into town? And I'm like, like I'm full by proxy, right? I'm full by proxy of watching everything you just ate. And so I, I don't like to put a whole lot of focus on meals. I eat early lunch, early dinner, and that's it. I don't really snack and I have to do that. And I've done that my whole life. And so when I'm around people that are super meal focused and have long drawn out meals and order high caloric meals, it makes me less hungry.

And back when Pumps was a mega, mega, mega churcher evangelical, we got along so well, you guys, and I enjoyed her so much. But oftentimes I would kind of pull back because the. The ability to be nice to a gay person to their face. And then when I would say, you can't vote like that, well, I mean, that's just. That's. It's in the Bible. You can't be gay. And it would. It would hurt it. Like, it. Physically, it was difficult for me. And I just want to thank you on the stage for finding enlightenment, because I think I would have.

The distance would have just kept going. What brought us together is we had kids the same age, incredible chemistry, enjoyed each other's company. But your original. But you're smart, and I'm just so grateful and I'm so proud of you that you, like, on your own, like, you found who you really are. We always believe.

Foster reconciliation with their friends and family. Develop movement leaders to help others leave. And the guy who founded this was a devoted maga. Let me read this to you. Dear MAGA Americans, I was a devoted member of MAGA Nation for seven years. It made me feel I was a part of something Important a movement that was trying to save American democracy. But starting in 2021, I realized I had been mistaken. It took me a full year to finally break away. During that time, I came to understand that MAGA is sustained by a series of myths that are intended to create perpetual feelings of desperation and panic. Succumbing to these predatory myths does not mean you are unintelligent, weak, or lack good character and morals. I have a bachelor's degree. I've been a working professional my entire life. I am a family man and consider myself relatively honest and intelligent person. I think the same about you. I understand the reasons you have have for supporting maga and I know many of us travel different paths to get there. I gravitated to Donald Trump because I've always been suspicious of our two party system and I saw him as the right man at the right time. I have a sense that some of you have quietly left MAGA already or are increasingly regretful, confused and scared. All of this can be doubly upsetting since some of your sincerely held beliefs may have alienated you from friends and family. That certainly happened to me. Me. It's perfectly okay to feel this way. Leaving MAGA was a tumultuous roller coaster of a process. For me. It may be one of the most difficult endeavors to embark upon. In the end, it brought me an inner peace and a newfound clarity about what is happening to our beloved country. And then he goes on to say he founded this to help other people. And here's what I have to say. Patriots, Gay trots, Patriots as like a knee jerk reaction right now. I think I fucking hate triple Trumpers. They deserve everything they get. And that makes me feel good in the moment to say that. But as a progressive person that cares about humanity, we have millions of Americans that have fallen prey to this Ponzi scheme that is maga, much like evangelical Christianity is. And you know, there are a lot of probably some good people in there. And it's hard to think about it now because we're all so mad and we're all so angry. But at some point there's going to have to be a lot of groups like this leaving MAGA group to help them. It's kind of like an Alcoholics Anonymous, right? You know, a support group to help them get deprogrammed. And if you have, and I have a hard time with this still, but I know at the end of the day my. I want what's best for people, people. And I hope that people can find their way away from Hating immigrants and. And bullying trans people and wanting to help billionaires get more private planes and help the working class and help people with cancer, access health care. I want that for people. I want people to have that empathy. And so I think your story Pumps is. Is helpful. And I think that after this episode and other episodes and after our book comes out, you're going to get a lot of people that say, I was exactly like Pumps. I was exactly like her. I did exactly as I was told. I was a good boy, or I was a good girl. And then I got away from it and got deprogrammed. And I'm much happier now. And I think it's a really important story, and it shows that you have agency over who you are, and you have agency over what you believe. And you don't have to be a dick to people that are gay, that are black, that are poor. You don't have to do that. Your religion may teach you to do that. And I'm not talking about Christian light people don't go banana talking about these crazy Catholics and these evangelicals that are the epicenter of maga. And you have agency. You don't have to be a dick.

See, I. Having been one of these people, I mean, not to the level of a triple trumper, but having evolved, I should have more appreciation and patience with people in this. But part of me thinks some of them are never going to get out. Like, it's kind of like the Scientology thing. Like they're never going to get out and see it.

And I do think you have to have a place for these people that. To help them, because I think the lack of community, they feel community with all this. They think that they have friends in this. So when they get away from it, they're going to feel isolated. So they have to have a community of other people. And I should have more grace than most people. But it's just really hard for me to believe that there's a more than just a fraction of a percent of them that will find enlightened, because I think the cruelty that's so embedded, that's like a human character defect. And I'd love to think they can get empathy, but I don't know. I mean, I'm so grateful for this person doing it. And if somebody came to me and was like, hey, I'm a triple trumper and I want to get out of that, I want to do better, I could have patience for that. But as a group at large, do I have a lot of hope? That they're going to critically think, start vetting their news, doing the right thing, voting for human rights. I mean, I just, that's a stretch for me. I hope I'm wrong. I would love to be wrong.

You would have more expertise in this than I would. Because the one person I had in my life that was this was you. And you found enlightenment.

But it's hard.

But you were in, you know, I mean, as free as last year, you were. I mean your kids still went to that MAGA school, right, with the anti gay, all of that stuff. And you were in the epicenter of that. And that's devastating to hear that you think those people will always be dicks.

Well, I think a lot of them will. You're probably because you, it's hard. You have to self reflect. You have to do the work. You have to be open to the fact that you were wrong. You have to accept that you have character defects and that you have been doing the wrong thing. And that's hard. You have to admit that, that your way failed and you have to start a new course. I mean, it's not easy.

I mean, I think you're probably right, but I do think that there's going to be a small percentage.

I do think there will be a.

Small percentage and I think there's going to be a percentage of people that are going to be injured economically and it's gross. And that people don't care about things until it personally impacts them.

And I, you know, I, I have a hard time having empathy for these people, but I always. My reach around, as we talked about in a recent episode, is that my vote covers them.

And on an individual basis it's difficult for me to be around especially people who have enough intelligence to vet their news and they choose to traffic in the cruel news where they're mean to trans people and gay people. It's just, it's really, it's really devastating what's happening to our country right now. It is, it's really, really devastating. And I think one of the biggest things that we can do is come here every Tuesday and Thursday and on our Ihip news. And I think that we need to let people know what you're seeing is real. And the lack of reaction and the paralysis that you, you're seeing and that you personally may be feeling, that's really happening. This shit is really happening and people are minimizing it, which is a form of abuse. When somebody abuses you and then the person minimizes it, which is what Trump and Musk do, which is what Fox News does. They abuse the fuck out of their listeners and their viewers and then they minimize their feelings after the fact. And that's all what all of that is. But here's at the end of the day, I'm not going to host the triple Trumper reunion and the deprogramming, but I just thought that that was interesting that that type of thing is popping in up.
