Oh, no, no, no. The second marriage was I was only married for about seven days.

I like the number seven. No, the first marriage was seven weeks. Two years of divorce for that seven weeks of marriage. And then the second one was about a week's time and a quick annulment.

So you really work on relationships? Yeah. You put a lot into them and really work on them. How do you feel now you're single now?

I am very single. I'm very, very single. Unfortunately. Unfortunately, my sex toy company kept me fulfilled, but now it's just you know, a little rubbery these days.

So it's been a while since you've been on a date.

Thank you. I don't really think it's by choice right now. I don't know where to start. If I wanted to start looking. It's la. Everything's based on superficial things. I'm back on TV again, so kind of again makes things a little difficult. I'm not looking for a baby daddy or someone to take over daddy responsibilities, which men see me single mom. They run away immediately. They think, oh. So I feel like there's a lot of factors in LA that just keep me single.

Well, I think I feel like. Oh, they're afraid of her.

I am proud of Mercedes because I feel like you're really, you really put a lot of effort and energy into your real estate career and I think it's really paying off. And we've been good friends for a long time and I worry about you. And you never know when. You never know how long these shows are going to last.

You guys had a very long run before with Shahs of Sunset, but who knows? It could be one season, it could be 12 seasons. But I like that you have something to fall back on and hopefully you're not going to put that on hold or pause in any way for the show.

No, I think the show. I made sure that the show followed my life rather than trying to make it like just film, you know, like we have to do what I really do. And when the first time, when the show was paused or canceled, you know, Tommy and I didn't have a strong financial future.

[Jeff Lewis]

Right.

The two of us were, you know, relying on the. The money that, that we got from.

[Gigi]

Especially when you're providing for everyone in your household.

[Mercedes Javid]

It was really nice to.

So this time, you know, I think that you'll see next month when the show airs on January 8th, you're going to see my life. I'm door knocking, I'm pounding the pavement. I'm doing everything. And I told the producers, like, this is what I really do.

How are you doing? So you separated from Tommy Nguyen how long ago?

October 17th.

Okay. And how are you doing?

[Mercedes Javid]

I'm fragile. Saying that with a strong jaw.

Okay.

[Mercedes Javid]

Okay. I mean, I, you know, you. I got a lot of messages about people saying that he, you know, came out, came for you, my mom and, you know, all these people saying, like, good for you, Tommy. Like, I've, you know, when you and I, Jeff, have been doing this show from your house in the hills, we were self deprecating. You, me, Megan, Doug, Shane. The show was built on the back of us being so authentic. And anybody who knows me from TV knows me from just being authentic. That being said, I protect my marriage. If I come back on Monday and tell you that we had a weekend, you know, where Tommy did or didn't do something for my birthday, it was like, not when I ever thought I was going to leave. I said that because we were having fun in a marriage that I was 100% committed to staying in. So it's really difficult for me to hear Tommy say that he doesn't have a platform while he's talking on his platform and saying that, you know, you and I are, you know, dragging him, which we all know. He said he doesn't listen to the show, he doesn't have the Sirius app, but then he'll sit there and say all these things that, like, to me are really hurtful because I'm actually not dragging him. I'm having like, I'm just. Why? Why do people want to listen to this show?

[Gigi]

Because they're gonna be honest. There's a scene that everyone is gonna see come up. I mean, you can't make this shit up. What happened while we were filming? It's a situation that happened with MJ and Tommy. The scene was unrelated to that. We were getting Botox. We were just doing girl stuff. And something does take place where I was shaken up just seeing that. And you guys will really get to hear and experience what this domestic situation is like and see how responsible she is over her son in that household. So, I mean, I was, I'm still. That scene was just so much for me to hear that and see that she was white as a ghost. I mean, it was a lot. It was a lot. So people do get to see your authenticity and they get to see that what he's doing right now is just shit talking because he's so upset. That's all.

What I don't understand is he says that he will support you and go to bat for you because you're his son's mother, but then turns around and calls you batshit crazy and then goes after your mother. For what I've experienced, and I know that you are privy to the details, as is Reza. What I've experienced is that you have, I mean, yes, you come in, you talk about little arguments here and there with him, but you have protected that guy for years. And the fact is that, and you've even said to me, I don't want to go here, I don't want to talk about this, I don't want to talk about that. And what's upsetting to me is that I'm now seeing, after his one man show till the dirt, where he came out and started saying all these things and I was, he said, you know, a few things about me. What he doesn't understand is that there are so many things that you could have said about this guy and have chosen to stay quiet a, out of respect for him, but also to protect your son. But I, you know, I don't know how, you know, I know how messy this custody thing is, is going to get. But, you know, if you have to, I think you start talking, I think you start, you have to, I mean, you're gonna do what you have to do. And I'm, I'm, I'm taught, I'm not necessarily saying on the radio, but with the attorneys, the attorneys should know, you know, I mean, if, if this does become a custody battle, I think the attorney should really know all the details.

[Mercedes Javid]

It's just that it's like we're just having fun when we're on the radio here. We're having fun, we're talking. And so I just wonder, I was like, is it because I'm a woman? Is it because I come off as stronger? Is it because people want to root for the underdog? Why?

[Gigi]

It's because he never thought you'd find your value again and leave him. And that's all it is, because you devalued yourself. And I'm, I'm Going to piggyback off what Jeff was saying here. You were protecting him from. Way before you guys even got married. You were. I do know the details. I'm very privy to the details of when you guys were dating and all that. You have really stood by that man, like, hard. And it's time to say enough is enough and have people who care about you stand by you right now.

[Mercedes Javid]

Yeah, I think he'll just. He's a. He's like a politician in the way that he'll. He'll speak really strong. And then it's like the loudest voice in the room.

[Gigi]

So that's why I. Nasal voice in the room. It's not the loudest.

If I say something or go too far, just. Just like, tell me, but I want to share something because what bothered me, and I just saw a sniper. Snippets of what he said and heard on the podcast. But he was saying that he spends more time with Shams than you do.

[Mercedes Javid]

Yeah.

And I wanted to find time. And this was just one. One example. I'm at dinner with Mercedes. It's 9 o'. Clock. We're having a nice time. She says, I have to get. I have to get home. And I'm like, what's the urgency? She said, because I'm pretty much. This is what's going to happen. I'm going to go home. My son should have been in bed asleep an hour and a half ago. I'm going to go home. He's in my bedroom watching TV with his clothes on, no pajamas, no teeth brushed. And Tommy will be on the sofa watching sports. I have to go home now because I want to make sure that my kid gets in bed with pajamas, brushing the teeth. So if you define. How do we define more time? Yes, you're in the same home, but it's a little different because you're actually parenting.

[Gigi]

It's like being single but having to take care of the extra load that's supposed to be the father.

[Mercedes Javid]

So much for not talking about, well.

[Jeff Lewis]

I just told you, look at me and tell me to stop.

[Mercedes Javid]

I'm not stopping you because I just did.

That triggered me.

I'm not stopping you because what. What triggered me was when. When he said, she parties in Vegas. No, I'm going to Bravo Con for a. You know, for a job. Or when he doubled the time that I was in Scotland. He said, I was in Scotland for six weeks. But it's well documented that I was there for three and a half, earning money, getting. Yes. Supporting the family. So those Are the things. The same things bother me. That bothered you about exaggerating and saying. And painting a picture. That's why I said politician, because he can say these things. And, you know, also, I don't talk about negatively about his dad. I just wish that he would have had more grace. And then the comments section, I mean, people seem like they're very.

They don't know the story. And when he said that about Bravo Con, which, you know, sorry. Says, and. But we were paid, like, 10 grand, and I thought to myself, how long would it take you to make $10,000? Two fucking years.

So, yeah, we're. I do feel bad about talking about.

It will escalate, because there's no good that will come out of talking to somebody that is committed to his version of reality.

Maris is also not a very aggressively confrontational person. I mean, I know because I've tried a few times. She backs up fast, but she's very cal. She stays composed. And I think Tommy's the polar opposite of that. He's very expressive and emotional and shows it. And she needs time to just. Where are you going, girl?

[Jeff Lewis]

She just adjusted the chair and pretty much fell to the floor.

[Mercedes Javid]

I thought it was funny.

I think that's her way of trying to get away from the convo. Mj, do you think part of it.

[Jeff Lewis]

Is having to kind of reconcile that this is the person you chose and just trying to figure out how you look at yourself in the mirror and reconcile that?

[Mercedes Javid]

You know, I just think about shams. I just want. I think about school. I think about our dignity. I think about, you know, people that. I want people to look at us and say, you know what? Those are good people that had to go separate ways with as little judgment as possible because everyone's got a situation, and my main thing is just to be civilized.

[Jeff Lewis]

Right. I mean, I know that's your intention. We'll see.

[Gigi]

Yeah. We'll see. That's the truth.

My theory was, you know, sometimes people are nice and civil and polite because they think there's a shot at getting back together. And then when they realize that is not an option, then that's when things start getting ugly.

I don't know. I. I mean, it's so brand new.

We. It's only been a month and a half. So I think that all we think about is just the adjustment for Shams to see us together and getting along.

And I. I think that is important.

I. You guys, I wake up, I go to work.

You know, it's like, there's not a lot of time for me to do anything else. I'm really trying to keep it together for everyone, and that's it.

Okay. I. It. It. I can feel your trepidation and fear of confrontation, and that's not something you have to live with anymore.

I feel like. I hate that I can get blame because I've been trying to be respectful. So it's like. Like what Golnessa was saying about, like, you don't say anything to protect him and to protect your family and your marriage, and then you walk away. And the chumps, maybe they're. They're, like, on his side, and it just doesn't feel fair because that's the part that also hurts, you know?

Well, look, you're not going to win over everybody. I mean, you. You. You know. You know all the facts, right? So he's presenting his version, and you're presenting your version. Gigi and I have to see, the thing is, is that the difference with Gigi and I and Reza is that we've been on this ride for years. So it wasn't like you were out publicly trying to convince anyone. You were telling your close friends what you were going through. That's very different than going on a podcast and trying to convince America that you're the good guy and that your wife is batshit crazy. It's very, very different.

The truth is on your side. So as information comes to light, then, I mean, you. You'll be supported. I mean, that's just.

What's crazy is that he's fucking with you, because from what I know.

It was one of my biggest fears, honestly, coming back to the show was that potential because Reza and I, out of nine seasons, we didn't get along for eight and a half of those seasons. It was always Reza and the Shahs and then me on an island, you know, so it was a big, big fear that now that we're back on, you know, camera. Is my friend still going to be the person he has been the last five years, not the years before that? So I got a little scared, you know, seeing that, like instead of saying, hey, you know, yeah, they had some beef, but Colnessa went out of her way. She emailed Brittany, she apologized. I would have loved to have heard that, you know, instead of she's got beef with my girl Kristen.

But I appreciate that you were accountable, that you apologized, that you said that you made a mistake. Do you think Elijah has softened you?

[Gigi]

Oh, I don't know. What do you think, Mass? Oh, yeah, of course you think so.

Because you do have this really sweet, soft side. I didn't see it the last time you were here. I think that you were. I'm glad you're here the second time because I think you were just got out of that relationship. You were pissed off at everybody and you came in angry and it just was that kind of thing.

Well, yeah, that relationship was a little different because my friend at that time, Mike Shuhed's ex fiance, she was with me in Vegas when I got married and she was in bed with my man a week later after we got married and they got engaged two weeks after he and I got married. So I was very, very bitter about it. And I was just having a very hard time knowing how to discuss that dynamic because it was fucked up.

[Jeff Lewis]

Are you different with Elijah than you are with the rest of the world?

[Gigi]

I try to be like Soft. I'm not really. I wouldn't say I'm soft with him. I think I'm just understanding. Yeah, I'm very considerate and understanding with him and his time.

[Jeff Lewis]

I find myself with my kid very different than how I deal with the rest of the world. And last night I said something to her. I'm like, yeah, Daddy got mad and yelled. She goes, you know what, Daddy? You never yell at me. And I was like, I don't. And I was actually kind of surprised that, you know. And I'm like. And it made me think about over the last 12 hours. I'm like, yeah, I do kind of, like, soften when she walks in the room. And I'm just wondering because sometimes people that are really sensitive, like you, we have kind of, like tough, tough, tough exteriors and very confrontational and quick to defend ourselves. And I'm just curious if. I'm curious to see how you are with Elijah.

[Gigi]

Yeah. I don't know. Maris always compliments my relationship.

First of all, she's the most amazing mother I have ever, ever encountered. I love watching her, the way that she interacts with him. And I said to her a couple weeks or less ago, I said, if I have any issues interacting or trying to discipline shams, I'm going to come over to your house and I'm going to observe you with Elijah. Because I have been able to do that over the last five years. She is amazing. She is not the Gigi from Shaws. She is an incredible mom. And just as you were soft with Monroe.

It's an incredible gift that stands in its own lane.
