Leah Black
RuPaul's Drag Race is back only on MTV with show stopping celebrity guest judges like Katy Perry, Dochi, Sam Smith, Adam Lambert and more. The splashiest season in herstory is making major waves.
Ronnie Karam
Raider Queen is back.
Ben Mandelker
I hold their face in my fancy.
Leah Black
Little hand because wetter is better. RuPaul's Drag Race is back. New season Friday at 8, 7 Central on MTV.
Ben Mandelker
It's the get holiday ready sales event with Hank and Sam from the Ford crew. Today, a new shipment of inventory.
Leah Black
Hank, what's going on?
Ronnie Karam
Another hauler full of new ford trucks and SUVs. Sam, so much SUV capability is that Ford F Series, the best selling trucks for 47 years. And a big selection means big savings. Yep.
Leah Black
Which means it's the best time to buy.
Jeff Lewis
Well done, Sam.
Ronnie Karam
And time for America to get holiday ready with ford.
Ben Mandelker
Based on 1977-2023 cy industry reported total sales.
Leah Black
When you're Jeff Lewis, the drama never stops.
Ronnie Karam
I'm sorry, we didn't mean to offend anybody. We offend everybody.
Leah Black
We live in a nest of positivity.
Ronnie Karam
I live in a nest of negativity.
Leah Black
She said, I swear you'll love him. I said, you could swear all day long. I hate that guy. Chef Lewis has issues.
Ronnie Karam
Hey, it's Jeff Lewis and I have issues. In today's episode, Leah Black, Ben Mandelker and Ronnie Caram join the show. We talk about new faces, hate comments, and Leah's beat up old car. Good morning, guys.
Jeff Lewis
Good morning.
Leah Black
And girls.
Ronnie Karam
Okay.
Leah Black
And the girls.
Ronnie Karam
Okay. I think Shane wants to know if you drove Dolores today or it's too cold.
Ben Mandelker
Or the cage.
Ronnie Karam
Or the cage?
Ben Mandelker
The cage. I'm in the cage today, boys.
Ronnie Karam
No Dolores today.
Ben Mandelker
No.
Ronnie Karam
All right. Dolores is the scooter thing. Yeah.
Leah Black
I've been telling him to stop that forever. Remember that bitch neighbor of mine that called and got you that ticket that.
Ben Mandelker
Time from the scooter? Yeah. And you know what? I was listening to the previous hour. Why are you wanting a neighbor to come over? That woman's a terrorist.
Leah Black
Oh, not her.
Ben Mandelker
Can you imagine?
Leah Black
She's a terrorist.
Jeff Lewis
Yeah.
Ben Mandelker
You just come home, she'd be in your cameras all day. Fuck you. Here, darling.
Leah Black
You know what she does. You've seen how she acts, Jeff.
Ben Mandelker
You've been there. When that's going off on us, it.
Leah Black
Puts that disco thing up and then she goes and pits the pots and pans as loud as she can for 20 minutes on the patio. Just to disrupt our party outside. She's just crazy.
Ben Mandelker
And then Brendan walks up to the wall and starts screaming at her.
Jeff Lewis
He's like, fuck you.
Leah Black
Die already. Yeah, Brendan gets into it with her. I told her I know he shouldn't. I told him, ignore her. She wants the attention. And so one year, just to be nice, I made a whole big Thanksgiving lunch for her and went. Put it on the porch and everything. Not a word. I thought, let's make peace because she's just obnoxious. I've never even met her. But Brandon talks to her.
Ronnie Karam
Are you still having problems with her?
Leah Black
You know, I just got here yesterday, but the last time I was here, I didn't hear a peep from her. But Brendan said he went over there one day. They were using the pool, and she was yelling and screaming and turning the music up and everything. Mad because the music was loud. It wasn't our music. It was the music from the guy upstairs up the hill that's a DJ right across the street. And she was taking it out on us because she was mad at him.
Ronnie Karam
What happened to the people underneath you that you flooded there?
Leah Black
Oh, my God. That $500,000 flood, I don't know. But the guy, the maintenance guy said, I don't think they really fixed it all that much, and I don't think they spent 500,000 on it. He said, I think that was a.
Ronnie Karam
Pretty good insurance fraud.
Leah Black
I don't know. But, you know, I had to get in a fight with the insurance company to pay it because they didn't get covered on my policy.
Ronnie Karam
Wow.
Jeff Lewis
Wow.
Leah Black
How would I know?
Ronnie Karam
How are your holidays?
Jeff Lewis
A lot more excited than what's going on in my house.
Leah Black
Well, think about it. I mean, if you don't live here and you're not used to the hills, why would you think about covering insurance for people down below you on a hill in Florida? It's flat. You don't think about that.
Ben Mandelker
Yeah, but then you, like, built that.
Leah Black
Cause, you know, the hills. I'm in the hills.
Ben Mandelker
Well, the first time I went over there on the day we were recording something, and she's like, oh, don't get behind me. I said, well, we have to put the camera somewhere. She goes, yeah, but those guys keep falling down the hill.
Leah Black
I live in the hills.
Ben Mandelker
And I was like, what do you mean they keep falling down the hill? She said, there's no regulations. Watch. And then, sure enough, we sat there and watched these poor guys, they were climbing up the hill, and they put, like, a brick. And then you just See, one the.
Leah Black
Neighbors, and they were rolling down. They were literally rolling.
Ronnie Karam
Wait, what. What were they doing?
Ben Mandelker
They were building a house, but it was on. You know, it was on the hill or on the side of the hill. And these poor guys, you know, they just. They're climbing up the hill, like, building the house.
Ronnie Karam
I don't think that neighbor pulled a single permit.
Leah Black
Oh, probably not. And the guys did keep rolling down the hill. We saw a couple of times.
Ben Mandelker
We saw a couple. It was on video game.
Jeff Lewis
Sounds like Mario.
Leah Black
We didn't run over to help, but we yelled, no.
Ben Mandelker
Why would we? What are we gonna do? Like, you keep crawling up a hill and falling down. What the hell do you think is gonna happen?
Leah Black
They needed the work. Poor thing. That's my neighborhood, West Hollywood. It's crazy.
Ronnie Karam
Now you guys are going on tour. Yes.
Ben Mandelker
Congratulations.
Jeff Lewis
Thank you. Yeah, we announced that since the last time we were on here, we're going on tour starting next month. And we're having the Golden Crappies, which, if you guys happen to be in New York on February 1, you know.
Leah Black
If you've never been to the Golden.
Ronnie Karam
Crappies, unfortunately, we won't be.
Leah Black
They used to have them here. But if you've never been to the Golden Crappies, you really have to go. It makes the Golden Globes and the Oscars look very lame.
Jeff Lewis
Thank you.
Leah Black
No, they're fabulous.
Ronnie Karam
You have a red carpet.
Leah Black
They're really fabulous.
Ben Mandelker
We're going to. This year.
Jeff Lewis
It's on Broadway, so we're gonna try to get some Broadway people on there.
Leah Black
They have fabulous people show up. I mean, they have me show up one year.
Jeff Lewis
Yeah.
Ben Mandelker
We made her go.
Ronnie Karam
Who are you expecting to show on February 1st?
Ben Mandelker
We're. It's a prayer. We just pray every year and just hope they won't.
Leah Black
You won't have a problem in New York. You'll get a lot of people. You have a lot to pick from there. It's like la. Like, there'd be no reason for you to have it in Miami because there's only wannabes there. You know, there aren't any stars. But if you had it in LA or New York, you'll get a lot of good people.
Jeff Lewis
We'll try to get some Broadway peeps and some Bravo peeps, etc, you know?
Leah Black
Yeah.
Ronnie Karam
Leah Black said something very shady last night at dinner.
Leah Black
I did?
Ronnie Karam
Yes, you did. Because they're filming season seven of Real Housewives of Miami. I think they just wrapped. And of course, they're always asking Leah to be on it. And you said that you wouldn't be able to recognize the women because of all the plastic surgery and that you would have. They'd have to wear name tags.
Jeff Lewis
That's why you need to be on the show. I was just saying to Ronnie backstage, I was like, when is Leah Black going to be back on the Real Housewives? Because the way you so casually just shade people is so perfect.
Leah Black
It's just a fact.
Jeff Lewis
That's why it's good.
Leah Black
But it is a fact. I mean, when he said, well, would you film with this and would you film with that one? I'm like, well, that wouldn't be very authentic. Well, that wouldn't be really real. Would that be contrived? And like, by the way, they'd have to wear name tags because you really couldn't recognize a lot of people.
Ben Mandelker
Well, you'll recognize their dark, dark hearts.
Leah Black
Yes. Those are even more extreme that we got.
Ben Mandelker
Anyway, I love that you're talking about authentic. Last time you were on it, you were like, hey, let's talk about your divorce. Poor Lisa. Let me help you face care. You need to get rid of the.
Leah Black
Bags under your eyes from crying girl.
Ben Mandelker
There was a Leah Black skincare thing everywhere.
Leah Black
Oh, is that my office?
Jeff Lewis
And also, like, part of the fun of Real Housewives of Miami is seeing the new faces. It's like the new, like, Toyota launch for 2025. It's like, what's Larsa gonna look like? You know? That's exciting. Yeah. It's a redesign.
Ronnie Karam
I love a glow up, but sometimes, you know, obviously they don't know when to stop. But I, like, I thought when Jen Fessler came back that one season, I was like, oh, my God, that was a glow up. That was a good one.
Ben Mandelker
Marge also actually had a very good.
Ronnie Karam
So there's been, like, really good.
Jeff Lewis
There's some good glow ups.
Ben Mandelker
Yeah, yeah.
Ronnie Karam
I mean, good surgery, good veneers, good. But then there's something.
Leah Black
Did you see Donatella Versace's picture lately?
Ronnie Karam
Yes.
Leah Black
What is that about? She looks better now than she did when she was 18 years old.
Ronnie Karam
Yeah, she looks amazing.
Leah Black
You know, she had very ruddy skin. And I'm trying, you know, when they do, like, work on your. It doesn't usually do your skin. You know, it just tightens and pulls and lifts and tones and that. Her skin is flawless. I'm just curious how she did that.
Ben Mandelker
Probably the oil.
Ronnie Karam
The best glow up we've seen all year is Lindsay Lohan.
Jeff Lewis
Oh, yeah.
Leah Black
Oh, I didn't see her.
Ben Mandelker
That's like recovery.
Leah Black
She's so young. She didn't even really need to do anything, did she?
Ben Mandelker
She had a lot done.
Leah Black
They do too much. That's the problem.
Ben Mandelker
She overdo.
Leah Black
They just overdo.
Ben Mandelker
Yeah, I fall for everything. I just figured she sobered up. I was like, oh, so Brian looks great on you. She's been sleeping a lot. Oh, ye. That is very good. Yeah.
Leah Black
Oh, wait, let me see. Oh, my glasses on. Hold on.
Ronnie Karam
Yeah, we're looking at Lindsay Lohan.
Leah Black
Oh, on the ride on the top, right?
Ronnie Karam
She looks so good.
Leah Black
She does look pretty. You know, she's a very good little actress. She doesn't.
Ben Mandelker
Oh, yeah. All right. I don't know if I'd go that far.
Leah Black
No, I've seen her in some shows where she was a good actress.
Ronnie Karam
I agree with you.
Leah Black
She's a little out there, but she's a good actress.
Ben Mandelker
She has two Lindsay's in the page.
Leah Black
You have to give credit where it's due. Somebody can be wackadoodle crazy, but if they're good at something, they're good at something. I thought she's a good actress. Especially when she was a young kid. She was in that parent trap. She was like a kid. She was acting well.
Jeff Lewis
So she's got charisma.
Leah Black
She was our friend Lisa with Lisa. Lisa Ann Walter. Remember?
Ben Mandelker
Oh, right, right.
Leah Black
The one you sang at our party with.
Ben Mandelker
Oh, my God. That's my type of girl. Oh, hell yeah.
Leah Black
Remember when I had my Christmas party? He and Lisa were doing duets over there. Somebody's playing the piano.
Ben Mandelker
Yeah, that's my type of girl. Everyone else was like, shut up.
Leah Black
I love her.
Ben Mandelker
Jesus. Because, you know, of course I go and there's a piano. I'm like, I did it my way.
Jeff Lewis
It does go down like that.
Ronnie Karam
Yeah.
Ben Mandelker
I'm the biggest hair.
Leah Black
What's the name of that show she's on now? She made it really Abbott Elementary. She made it really big. She looks beautiful too.
Ben Mandelker
Yeah, she really does. That's a good glow up too. And I don't think she had a ton of. Well, I mean, who knows?
Leah Black
I don't think she's done a lot of stuff.
Ben Mandelker
She slept a lot.
Leah Black
I liked her better as a blonde than a redhead, But I get that the redhead really works for her for television. You know, she stands out. But I liked her better as a blonde.
Ben Mandelker
You did?
Leah Black
Yeah.
Ben Mandelker
I love the red hair.
Ronnie Karam
I love the before, after Housewives. I'm just thinking about, like, Kyle looks amazing. Melissa never looks Kyle's best face.
Ben Mandelker
She went too far. Maybe with the lips, but I.
Leah Black
Who did you say after Kyle. Melissa.
Jeff Lewis
Melissa Gorga.
Ronnie Karam
Gorga looks great.
Leah Black
Oh, that's the one. Yeah. I remember Dolores.
Jeff Lewis
At first I was scared because Dolores is like a natural stunner. And when she first started doing stuff, I was like, you don't have to mess with it. But like last season I was like, she looks like she's 14. It was crazy.
Ronnie Karam
Well, every time Tamara does something, I always think you don't need it. But after she does it, she looks, I mean, great. I think she did that brow lift. She looks really good.
Ben Mandelker
She does. Shannon looks good too. She gets good stuff done.
Ronnie Karam
Yeah. Do a lot. Shannon doesn't do a lot. She just did the full. The full face line yesterday.
Leah Black
Don't you think less is more, though, really? I mean, they just get carried away. They do. They get hurt?
Ben Mandelker
Well, I guess it depends on what you need. I feel like if I went in there, they'd literally have to hang me upside down with clothes. Clothes?
Leah Black
I don't think so.
Ben Mandelker
And then just sew.
Leah Black
You've got flawless skin. Ronnie has the most flawless, gorgeous nipping and tucking.
Ben Mandelker
And like, when do you start the process?
Ronnie Karam
You know what I mean?
Ben Mandelker
Like, where do they stop?
Ronnie Karam
Oh, yeah, get those threats. Honestly, that's like the Shannon.
Ben Mandelker
That's like Shannon says that they said that that was the most Mexican anyone has ever taken.
Ronnie Karam
Until you go.
Ben Mandelker
Until I go.
Ronnie Karam
But I have a feeling, yes, I think you would look amazing.
Ben Mandelker
That's my impersonation of a Sharpay.
Leah Black
Oh, my God.
Ronnie Karam
So what awards are you giving out at the Golden Cross?
Leah Black
Oh, yeah.
Jeff Lewis
So we give out. Well, there's like, things like, you know, best Bravo show, best Bravo, Liberty, Best Villain, the worst.
Ben Mandelker
Who are the contenders, you know?
Jeff Lewis
Well, I don't know. Well, what we usually do is like a two tier voting system. So first we'll put up like a big ballot and everyone's going to vote on it and it's going to whittle each category down to five and then there'll be a second round of voting which will determine the winners. But we usually have some categories that change from year to year. Sometimes it's like, who's, like, messiest. We have categories for, like, Best Newbie. We'll have categories sometimes for Bronwyn. Bronwyn is definitely a front runner.
Ben Mandelker
There's some good ones.
Jeff Lewis
There's really a lot of good newbies. But Bronwyn's probably the front runner on that one.
Ronnie Karam
I think so too.
Leah Black
See, I got her mixed up with that other girl named Bronwyn when you guys were talking about her From OC And. Yeah. And I kept saying I didn't think she was anything. And that's because it's a different Bronwyn.
Ronnie Karam
It's a different. It's a different city franchise.
Leah Black
Different name, though, so.
Ben Mandelker
Different numerology, different spelling.
Leah Black
If you didn't know, that's an unusual name. So you could see where. If you weren't watching the shows and you didn't know that, you would think that's who you're talking about. I kept.
Ben Mandelker
Well, that was the first one I'd ever heard of, was O.C. i'd never heard that name in that.
Jeff Lewis
She came onto the Crappies a few years ago and she was wasted. And she wound up screaming at the audience.
Ronnie Karam
The blonde. Bronwyn. Yeah, O.C. bronwyn. Because.
Jeff Lewis
Yes, because she was first.
Leah Black
The first one.
Jeff Lewis
Because she was like, you guys, Tamara's a good person. She's been a great friend. And the entire audience booed at her. And she stood up. She goes, you don't fucking know.
Leah Black
You don't fucking know.
Jeff Lewis
You shut up.
Leah Black
Oh, my go.
Jeff Lewis
It was actually. I thought it was. It was a great moment. I. I applaud her for that.
Leah Black
You gotta go. I bet you guys are already gonna be sold out, though, early. How many. How many seats do you have?
Jeff Lewis
It's. The theater is about 1300 and we are over. We're about like 60 to 75% sold out.
Leah Black
Yeah, they'll be sold out. Sold out. With the wait list, it's gonna be like those shows where you can go buy the tickets for on the street. Double. I should buy 10 and go sell them on the streets and double my money.
Jeff Lewis
Oh, my God. If we get our first ever. Scalpers. Scalpers.
Leah Black
That's what they're called. I'm selling this Scalpers.
Ben Mandelker
The more of these I. I buy tea.
Ronnie Karam
So you go to watch what, crappens.com.
Jeff Lewis
Yes.
Ronnie Karam
I think you should buy a block of tickets like StubHub does.
Leah Black
Yeah. And then go. Yeah, go scalp them on the street. I can pay some. One of those clown guys.
Ronnie Karam
I don't think you have to do it on the street. I think.
Ben Mandelker
Yeah.
Leah Black
How much are the tickets anyway?
Jeff Lewis
They range well because there are a.
Ben Mandelker
Lot of people who do that now. So you can.
Leah Black
Oh, they do.
Ben Mandelker
If you call the venue, you'll usually get a cheaper ticket, but, girl, some of those online things, like, we paid way too much to go see Taylor Swift. I am being laughed at. Yeah.
Ronnie Karam
I think everybody.
Leah Black
Where did you see her? Where'd you see her?
Jeff Lewis
In Stockholm?
Leah Black
Oh, you Went to Stockholm to see her.
Jeff Lewis
Well, we were going to Europe.
Ben Mandelker
That's the fanciest thing I've ever done.
Jeff Lewis
It was very fancy. We went. We were going to Europe for our European tour earlier this year. And then I. It was me, I was like, hey, I was the problem. It's me. I was like, ronnie, I am having some cultural FOMO because I did not go to the ERAS tour and I would like to go to Taylor Swift while we're in Europe because the tickets are supposed to be cheaper there. So we went to Stockholm. We added two days onto our trip beforehand to go to Stockholm. And it was. I mean, it was so fun.
Leah Black
You know what I love about her? She gave away like how many millions of dollars to all those people for her. That was fantastic. And I read this one guy said he went home and celebrated and told his daughter, I can now send you to college because he didn't have the money. He said, go to college.
Ben Mandelker
And her much of a bonus.
Leah Black
Some of them made like 100 and 200, $300,000.
Ronnie Karam
Expectations low, low, low.
Leah Black
I've always said that if you, if you go to Jeff's live show Thursday night in Orange county, then he's gonna do that for the staff that helped him. He's gonna give them bonuses.
Jeff Lewis
Three and a half hour show.
Ronnie Karam
You know why I'm not. Because you know what they do with their money? They buy robes and wands. And that's why I'm not one of them.
Ben Mandelker
That's problem one.
Leah Black
Yeah.
Ronnie Karam
Yeah.
Leah Black
Well, you did send that.
Jeff Lewis
Don't be like that.
Ronnie Karam
Lightsabers and weight. World Wrestling Federation belts. Well, you said 400 on layaway.
Jeff Lewis
Wait, who. Who buys this?
Ben Mandelker
That is hilarious. Oscar.
Jeff Lewis
Oh, Oscar. Oh, yeah. So, you know, I used to work at the wwe.
Ronnie Karam
I'm a little resentful.
Leah Black
You did?
Jeff Lewis
Yeah, I was there very first.
Ben Mandelker
Spending it on stupid things or what?
Ronnie Karam
Because he'd cried poor to me in the bathroom when we were cross streaming. And then I gave him a bonus the very next day because I was like, oh, you know, things are tough. And then he buys shit. He buys a $400 weight belt, he buys a wand, buys a lightsaber, he buys a robe.
Leah Black
Here's the thing about a gift. You give a gift with no expectations.
Ronnie Karam
I have no. That's not how I give gifts.
Leah Black
I don't do that. It's going to make that person happy to do what they want to do with that money that you gave them. And you don't have an expectation.
Ronnie Karam
I have expectations.
Leah Black
Well, you know, then you're not giving freely.
Ronnie Karam
What are you doing with your bonus?
Ben Mandelker
Not giving freely.
Jeff Lewis
Saving it.
Leah Black
See?
Ronnie Karam
See, that's my girl right there. You know what? And you're gonna start getting bigger bonuses because you don't waste your money like your brother.
Jeff Lewis
Oh, I think we can all agree.
Ronnie Karam
A good use of your bonus.
Leah Black
I'm like your brother. Well, the thing is, though, that's not a waste of money to him. He gets enjoyment and entertainment out of it.
Jeff Lewis
You know, it would be a better use of his money buying tickets to the Golden Crappies.
Leah Black
Oh, yeah.
Ronnie Karam
Jameson, what are you doing with your bonus?
Ben Mandelker
It went into my savings.
Ronnie Karam
See?
Leah Black
See?
Ben Mandelker
So they got a good bonus there because, like, he's asking everybody and it's enough to put in your, you know, pay off something or put it towards education. It's going to my children's college. Yes. People who work for us got like an Amazon thing. Not even any money on it. This is from Amazon.
Leah Black
Here's a $25 gift card from Amazon. Here's the thing.
Ronnie Karam
I hope Oscar's parents are paying attention because God forbid if something happens to them, they can't give him the money. They can.
Leah Black
He cannot inherit any money.
Ronnie Karam
If he was my son, I would lock up the money and he'd have to live off the interest and someone else would have to monitor.
Leah Black
There's nothing wrong with that either.
Ben Mandelker
That's a lot of money to give him, though. You're like, I would give him nothing except enough to live off interest. I would also like to say in.
Jeff Lewis
Oscar's defense, he does work very hard. He also works weekends, so he does.
Leah Black
He works hard. And he did get a four year college degree. Gets kudos for that.
Ben Mandelker
Listen, spend your money on stupid things. This is America.
Leah Black
So where all are y'all touring? What cities are you.
Ben Mandelker
Oh, God, there's like 20.
Leah Black
Give me some of the names in case.
Ronnie Karam
Okay, I'm gonna tell you.
Leah Black
Come out of here.
Ronnie Karam
San Francisco. San Diego.
Leah Black
Yep.
Ronnie Karam
New York City. Salt Lake City. Denver, Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Toronto, Charlotte, Atlanta. Washington D.C. philadelphia, Boston, Detroit, Chicago, Austin, Dallas.
Leah Black
Why in the hell are you going to all those winter cities in the middle of winter?
Ben Mandelker
That's how we roll. We do it all the time.
Leah Black
We used to meet at the one in Austin. What was the other one in Texas?
Ronnie Karam
Dallas.
Leah Black
We should meet at the one in Dallas. When is it in Dallas?
Ronnie Karam
It doesn't say the date.
Leah Black
Oh, maybe we should do a radio show in Dallas the same weekend they do their show there.
Jeff Lewis
I think that's gonna be in May and We're also trying to add an LA date and we're hoping to have a Las Vegas date, too.
Leah Black
Well, you shouldn't have.
Ronnie Karam
I feel like the Golden Crappies would be fun.
Jeff Lewis
Dallas is May 9, and apparently you're closing night. Yeah.
Leah Black
Oh, that's your. Unless they add more. They're gonna have to have. What is it? How many those tours did Elton John and Cher do?
Jeff Lewis
The Last Night tour or.
Ronnie Karam
It's like the Blonde Ambition tour and you have to cancel because of the.
Ben Mandelker
Are they still arguing about that?
Leah Black
Wait, why did they cancel?
Ronnie Karam
I talked to Jerinda about. I thought because they got.
Leah Black
Oh, I didn't. You know, when you said Blonde Ambition, I was thinking of Madonna. Yeah. What do I know?
Ben Mandelker
That was it. That was a big one.
Ronnie Karam
According to her. It was. It was poorly organized and.
Leah Black
Oh, but that was two of the housewife girls that were Dorita and Margaret. Yeah.
Ronnie Karam
I saw. Talk about a glow up. I saw Dorinda at a holiday party last week. She looked fantastic.
Ben Mandelker
Her glow up looks really good.
Ronnie Karam
She looks so good.
Leah Black
Yeah.
Jeff Lewis
She actually came to the Golden Crappies one year, and I could not believe how gorgeous she was in person. I mean, I always thought she was pretty.
Leah Black
I think she's pretty.
Jeff Lewis
But, like, in person, I was like, she's a star.
Leah Black
She's got pretty skin. She's got the height, and she's got beautiful hair.
Ronnie Karam
She does not look her age.
Jeff Lewis
She looks wonderful.
Leah Black
You know, she had a great personality for the show. I don't know why she wasn't on it anymore, but I liked her when I used to watch that show years back. Haven't watched it in years, but I always thought she was good for the show.
Ronnie Karam
What are the. So did you say there's five categories in the golden crushes?
Jeff Lewis
It's usually like 10 to 12. 10 to 12. And we do things like we do an in memoriam for people who are no longer on Bravo anymore. And we do, like, pretty. Yeah.
Ronnie Karam
Me.
Ben Mandelker
Yeah. Cause your shows, you know, when you're on.
Leah Black
Well, then you're gonna have her. What do you call them when they come back? A big comeback with you.
Ronnie Karam
Like a newbie.
Ben Mandelker
Yeah, yeah.
Jeff Lewis
Comeback, newbies.
Ben Mandelker
Do you know yet about your show?
Ronnie Karam
No, it's still in development.
Ben Mandelker
Love it.
Ronnie Karam
They're supposed to be getting that casting tape. Like it's all shot.
Ben Mandelker
Yeah, they're putting it together.
Ronnie Karam
I imagine they probably.
Leah Black
But you're gonna film that here?
Ben Mandelker
You want to submit things?
Leah Black
You're film that here?
Ronnie Karam
Yes.
Leah Black
Yeah. I keep telling him he needs to do a Show in Dallas. He fits right in Dallas. Everybody in Dallas loves you.
Jeff Lewis
Oh, yeah.
Ronnie Karam
I wouldn't go that far, but I do like Texas.
Leah Black
Oh, no, they love you, though. Yeah.
Jeff Lewis
There's a lot.
Leah Black
A lot of money. A lot of nice people that are friendly and aren't flakes. They show up, they do what they say they're gonna do. They shake your hand, they leave the key under the mat.
Ben Mandelker
It's the world.
Leah Black
Well, that's true. They do take away your rights.
Ben Mandelker
We have a great time there, Jeff.
Leah Black
Florida and Texas.
Ben Mandelker
Yeah.
Leah Black
Just don't get deported.
Ben Mandelker
Yeah.
Ronnie Karam
So what are the other categories? So for the. Just give me the contenders, like, for the best new show.
Ben Mandelker
Oh, those will probably be the best new show.
Ronnie Karam
Are you doing, like, Mormon shows?
Ben Mandelker
There's not that many new shows. Usually we'll do, like, best newbie. Like, who's the best newbie? The chick from Potomac has been fantastic. What's her name? Stacy. Stacy has been really good. Who else is there?
Jeff Lewis
I think Talene on Dubai was actually really good.
Ronnie Karam
Yeah, that got canceled, but not because of.
Jeff Lewis
Talene was really good. Orange County. Katie on Orange county would probably get. You know, I think Britney.
Ben Mandelker
That's a good year for noobs.
Ronnie Karam
Oh, Brittany. Salt Lake City.
Jeff Lewis
Salt Lake City.
Ben Mandelker
I love Britney.
Jeff Lewis
This is tough. It's actually. This is what's so fun about it is. Cause when in certain ways, the show is also kind of like a look back on the year. And like, a lot of times we'll craft categories to make sure we can get nominations in. Cause it's so fun when you sit back and you look at, like, best quote, and you're like, oh, my God, that was such a funny quote. Or that was such a funny quote. And you have to, like, choose one. And it's impossible. But that's what's, like, fun about it. It's like, really, like a very funny.
Leah Black
And then people get to vote.
Jeff Lewis
Yeah. Everyone, we'll set up so they vote.
Leah Black
They go on your. On your Instagram.
Ronnie Karam
I know. I vote now.
Jeff Lewis
We'll. What we'll do is we'll put a link up.
Leah Black
Okay. So you go on your Instagram.
Ronnie Karam
Oh, I need to know the polling.
Jeff Lewis
Yeah, they'll be on Instagram.
Ben Mandelker
Register now.
Ronnie Karam
Oh, I have to register. Yeah.
Leah Black
So they have a. Watch what happens Instagram and you can book the ballot.
Jeff Lewis
Will probably. The ballot's probably gonna go up in the first week of January.
Ronnie Karam
Can I do a mail in this time?
Jeff Lewis
Absolutely.
Leah Black
Yeah. Because then it'll get lost when Dejoy loses the post boxes.
Ben Mandelker
But that's why people don't vote. They need to make voting easier. Voting is the biggest pain in the ass in Texas. I should go to the Bee Cave City hall and then wait in a line around the block. No, put it on an app with all the shit kickers. Yeah, put it on an app. Make me sign in with.
Jeff Lewis
Just make it like Tinder. Be like, swipe left on this candidate. Swipe right on that one.
Ben Mandelker
If I can scan my irises to use my bank of America, then I could use it to vote for, you know, whatever.
Leah Black
That's right.
Jeff Lewis
Yeah.
Ben Mandelker
Thank you.
Leah Black
So Ronnie. When Ronnie's in Texas, he lives an hour and 40 minutes from me, right?
Ben Mandelker
Yeah.
Leah Black
Yeah. And then. And then I live. You're in Austin an hour and 40 minutes from where I meet you, because you're in Waco. Yeah.
Ben Mandelker
Yeah.
Ronnie Karam
You're buying up way too much.
Leah Black
Yeah, I'm buying it up. And then you ought to come down there and decorate it up.
Ben Mandelker
We go to Chip and Joanna's restaurant, and I say, she's annoying. She goes, why is she annoying?
Leah Black
And then I tell her, oh, yeah, she's annoying. See, I never watched the show. I put it on mute a couple of times to see the before and after.
Ronnie Karam
It's.
Leah Black
It's too slow. It goes too slow.
Jeff Lewis
Well, she told this. He's awful.
Ben Mandelker
Well, she told this story about. She was on Oprah, and Oprah's like, why do you have your own network? And she's like, oprah. I was just done with tv, and then I was just so depressed. So Chip drove me out to the middle of nowhere, and he just put me out of the car, and I had to talk to Jesus until I was done. Oh, stop it.
Leah Black
I can't.
Ben Mandelker
Jesus told me when I was in the middle. Yeah. She's like. And when I was out in the middle of nowhere, I talked to Jesus for hours and hours until Chip came to get me. And in that time, Jesus told me to start a network. I was like, girl, even Jesus ain't watching that network.
Leah Black
What are you talking about?
Ben Mandelker
He left his wife in the woods because she didn't want to be on tv. She was just depressed. So I guess that's how you deal with it when you don't have proper therapy. You just drop somebody off and just, like, figure it out. Texas therapy. I'll just try it.
Leah Black
Yeah, well, Ronnie and I went. We went to that restaurant and had lunch one day, and then we went antique shopping. He bought stuff. I didn't.
Ronnie Karam
We like, why don't you like Chip.
Jeff Lewis
When I watch that show, and he's sitting there making all these, like, trying to be so funny, and, like, he just sort of sucks all the air out of every scene.
Leah Black
You don't think it's authentic?
Jeff Lewis
Well, no, it's. It could be authentic. I just find it to be annoying. And I just. I just.
Ronnie Karam
She finds it to be annoying.
Ben Mandelker
She does, yeah.
Jeff Lewis
I see her, and I'm like, please let Jo. Let Joanna talk. Let her just, like, have a moment of peace. And he's always trying to be like, look at me.
Ronnie Karam
I'm being real silly.
Jeff Lewis
And I just. It drives me absolutely nuts. I can't deal at all.
Leah Black
How do you know it's amazing? Well, it's your business to watch that stuff. But it's amazing how much time people spend watching reality tv. It really is. I guess it's just a guilty pleasure. I get it with you guys.
Jeff Lewis
What is done right, when it's done right, it is.
Leah Black
But it's a lot.
Ben Mandelker
Like, Salt Lake City is great television.
Jeff Lewis
So good. Like, you know what? Like, there's a lot of really crappy scripted stuff, but people are like, but whatever. It's still good. And, like, crappy scripted stuff gets away with everything. But if it's a crappy reality show, people like, oh, I don't even know how you can watch this entire genre. And the truth is that reality TV has some of the best storytelling on TV right now.
Leah Black
The only one I still watch is Beverly Hills, and I like to see Beverly Hills scenery. Plus, I know the girls, some of them. And I like the scenery. And, you know, I like seeing. I like the glamour of it all, you know, and the jewelry and the house.
Jeff Lewis
Aspirational part.
Leah Black
It's just fat. I think even if you put it on mute, it's fun to watch. But that's the only one I still watch.
Ronnie Karam
Do you like the. Jennifer Tilly is on board now. Love it. And then what about. Is it. Is it Boz.
Ben Mandelker
Bose is great.
Jeff Lewis
She's a natural fit. Jennifer Tilly. Well, we're both big Jennifer Tilly fans. We've been Jennifer Tilly fans for ages. So the fact that she's on the show now and that she's, like, rich as. Who knew? She owns part of the Simpsons. I love it.
Leah Black
I love it. The chump's new.
Ben Mandelker
She's been on the show a few times.
Leah Black
Yeah, but I didn't know about the Simpsons thing. I just heard about that. Wow.
Ben Mandelker
Yeah, I love her. I mean, ever since Bullets over. Charmed. Charmed. I'm Sure.
Leah Black
I like the producer on there, Alex. And that's one of the reasons I watched it because I just love him. I'm always rooting for him and his success.
Ronnie Karam
You would probably bond with Jennifer Tilly because she's a big jewelry collector like yourself and she has beautiful pieces.
Leah Black
And I've noticed she has some interesting handbags. That very unusual designer.
Ronnie Karam
She has great taste.
Leah Black
Yeah, she does. And her voice is very cute, isn't it? It's really cute. It's like you. She's had that laughing stuff from the dentist.
Ben Mandelker
Yeah.
Ronnie Karam
I think we're going to get her back eventually.
Leah Black
What do you mean, get her back?
Ronnie Karam
Well, we've had.
Leah Black
Oh, you mean get her here on your show?
Ronnie Karam
Well, we had her twice already.
Leah Black
Oh, well, that's.
Ben Mandelker
I feel like she's been on here more. I don't know why now.
Leah Black
There was a time when you told me they weren't allowing those girls to go on your radio show because your big damn mouth. What happened? Did they change their mind or did you start behaving?
Ronnie Karam
I started behaving.
Leah Black
Okay.
Ronnie Karam
Well, I had to apologize. Was it last week or the day.
Ben Mandelker
Before what I was gonna say? When did you start behaving?
Jeff Lewis
What was the apology? What happened?
Ronnie Karam
Okay. I did receive permission from Bravo to announce my development deal.
Jeff Lewis
Okay.
Ronnie Karam
But I did not receive permission to announce the Shaws development deal.
Ben Mandelker
Oh.
Jeff Lewis
We were here.
Ronnie Karam
So I got in big.
Ben Mandelker
We're in trouble by proxy.
Ronnie Karam
I got in big trouble for that.
Leah Black
Well, they used. Listen, you've come a long way. They used to have the Gestapo supervisor sitting in the room with an AK watching you during your film.
Ronnie Karam
They still do. Once in a while. We'll have the marshal.
Leah Black
But to give context for Jennifer Tilly, she came on. It wasn't Bravo that had an issue.
Jeff Lewis
Jennifer wasn't happy. She read the comments. She made a mistake.
Ben Mandelker
Oh, don't ever read. She read the comments and they were not.
Leah Black
They were not kind. Why would they not be kind to her?
Ben Mandelker
I'm sure some of them were, but.
Leah Black
Some of them were, you know, people that take that seriously. They need a therapist. They're just comments of random people that don't even know you.
Ben Mandelker
They need to go to the woods in Texas and talk to Jesus.
Leah Black
That's right. I mean, I like to read the comments because I kind of just like to see. Kind of get a pulse for things. But I would never, like, take it to heart that someone said, oh, I don't like that about you. You don't even know me, bitch.
Ben Mandelker
I hate Tons of people.
Leah Black
I might not like you either, you.
Ben Mandelker
Know, you're a professional.
Jeff Lewis
My trajectory with comments is that sometimes I'm like, I'm just gonna read this. This'll be hilarious. See who hates me. And I'll be reading them like, of course, of course, of course. Wait a second. And then I, and then I start to spiral and I'm like, okay, time to step back.
Leah Black
So there's this super duper major, major, major st. And she told me once, she said, I can read 200 comments and the only one I remember is that one or two negative ones. Stop reading them.
Jeff Lewis
Yeah, yeah, you have to.
Leah Black
It's hard, especially if you're a global superstar. What in the hell do you care? They're buying tickets anyway.
Ben Mandelker
Yeah, I think when you're at that level, you should stop because there's automatically going to be people who hate you no matter what.
Leah Black
Of course.
Jeff Lewis
If you, you dunk, Michelle.
Ronnie Karam
You badonka, dunk your way back into the competition.
Leah Black
RuPaul's Drag Race is back only on MTV with show stopping celebrity guest judges like Katy Perry, Dochi, Sam Smith, Adam Lambert and more. The splashiest season in her story is making major waves.
Ronnie Karam
Raider Queen is back.
Ben Mandelker
I hold their face in my fancy.
Leah Black
Little hand because wetter is better. RuPaul's Drag Race is that new season. Friday at 8, 7 Central on MTV.
Ronnie Karam

It's the get holiday ready sales event with Hank and Sam from the Ford crew. Today, a new shipment of inventory.
Leah Black
Hank, what's going on?
Ronnie Karam
Another hauler full of new ford trucks and SUVs SAM. So much SUV capability is that Ford Fit series the best selling trucks for 47 years and a big selection means big savings. Yep.
Leah Black
Which means it's the best time to buy.
Jeff Lewis
Well done Sam.
Ronnie Karam
And time for America to get holiday ready with ford.
Ben Mandelker
Based on 1977-2023 cy industry reported total.
Leah Black
Sales I need directions for paying down debt. Starting route Apply for a SOFI personal loan and consolidate your debt into one fixed payment. Turn right into a positive outlook and get 5,000 to $100,000 as soon as the same day you sign with no fees required.

Leah Black

Ronnie Karam
Is there any particular, like Bravo franchise or anything else, any other television series right now that is especially annoying to you or has a particular annoying character?
Leah Black
Oh my gosh, the list is long. How much time do you have?
Ben Mandelker
The most annoying one right now it's probably New York. Just because we're rooting for New York and it's killing me. New York is killing me. Redwood Field, mom.
Leah Black
Why? Because you. It's not up to expectations.
Ben Mandelker
It's just not fun. And I feel like it's a bad turn in the. I feel like it's a bad turn. They're making the wrong turn and I don't want them to continue that.
Leah Black
Okay, if you had your, if you were in charge, would you just bring the old original cast?
Jeff Lewis
No. Yes.
Ben Mandelker
I would not. I say that was a good firing, but there's plenty of Looney Tune ladies on the Upper east side.
Jeff Lewis
Yeah, go to the Upper west side.
Ben Mandelker
Instead of the Upper east side. Get some of those crazy ladies.
Jeff Lewis
I would do a blend. I would do a blend. Like a nice one. Like bring Dorinda back, bring Countess Luann back, keep Jessel, maybe find some new, like, kooky ladies from the Upper east side. But keep like.
Leah Black
Well, my favorite was always Sonya. I love Sonia.
Jeff Lewis
Sonia's great. But she lives in Florida now.
Leah Black
Well, she lives there because she probably isn't on a show in New York. I bet if she's on a show in New York, she'll live in New York. She's the quirky, funny one that has a good heart.
Ronnie Karam
Yeah.
Leah Black
She never had. She was always like, never mean. She was never a mean girl.
Ronnie Karam
That's not What I witnessed Sonia.
Leah Black
Well, maybe she watch what happens live. Oh, maybe she drank a little one night. Yeah.
Ben Mandelker
She gets two. She does it to herself, you know, and she really lasted a long time on TV for being like that.
Ronnie Karam
I think she's a silly, bad.
Leah Black
Oh, I know.
Jeff Lewis
I think that's.
Ben Mandelker
That is.
Jeff Lewis
That is an issue. And she's. I mean, Sonia. The stories that we hear on the road, because, you know, Sonia took her show on the road and so we've heard from different venues. Like, oh, yeah, Sonia was here. And then she, like, tried to get someone who worked at, like, the venue to drive her up to, like, San Francisco or something.
Leah Black
Sounds like something I would do.
Jeff Lewis
Maybe that's why I was like, wait a second. She's like, I love something at a pizza place.
Leah Black
She's just quirky.
Ben Mandelker
Sonia shows up and asks people to change her batteries.
Leah Black
What's the other one? What else is annoying? He wanted to. He asked. I'm curious.
Ben Mandelker
That one's getting me right now. Everything else, I think, has been pretty good. Right now on Bravo. Salt Lake City is glorious. I don't know if people really understand what kind of timeline we're living in. O.C. was great.
Jeff Lewis
Almost everything has been.
Ben Mandelker
Beverly Hills has been fine. You know, Beverly hills is like medium. It's always like kind of at mid level. But it's always good.
Jeff Lewis
Yeah, it's always good. I think it's like doing hitting above average this season, I think. Cause DORIt's really on one and it's been really entertaining to see her getting so mad every episode.
Leah Black
Wait, so we're watching her fall? So you like Dorit or you don't like?
Ronnie Karam
We've all been waiting for that.
Leah Black
See, I've always liked Dorit.
Ben Mandelker
Me too. I'm waiting for the year round.
Leah Black
Why does everyone want to watch her fall? I've always liked turn ready.
Ronnie Karam
I think because of her ego. And she hasn't always been completely so likable.
Leah Black
Why do you think she has such a big ego? I don't think she has a big ego because she dresses everybody.
Jeff Lewis
I'm on her side, though. The thing is this. I am fully on Dorit's side with her clashing with Kyle. You know, Kyle's reasons for why she has an issue with Dorit are so tenuous. Like, Dorit's are like, hey, we're best friends. And then you went on to Amazon live and said, we barely have a friendship. Like, that is fucked up to do to a friend. And Kyle's like, oh, you said this one. You didn't stand up for Teddy Mellencamp at bravo.
Leah Black
You're saying it's a false equivalent?
Ben Mandelker
Yeah, I don't think I do believe Kyle, that they weren't that close. I feel like Kyle has actual friends in her real life, and she's, like, filming friends. I think she's colleagues with doritos.
Leah Black
It means so much more. Dorit didn't feel that way. She felt like they were genuine.
Ben Mandelker
She probably should get some.
Leah Black
I always liked her anyway. You know what? I started watching as lost, that series.
Ben Mandelker
Oh, my God.
Leah Black
Speaking of Dorit, it's so good, but I got to addicted to it. I started binge watching it. It's really good.
Ben Mandelker
That's a good show.
Leah Black
Did you watch it?
Ben Mandelker
It was a good show. And like dorit, it's gonna have a very confusing.
Jeff Lewis
No answers. No clear answers.
Ben Mandelker
Dorit's downfall isn't because she's mean or anything. It's because her and PK Are such grifters. I mean, they've been such grifters for so many years. I just want to see. I mean, Bravo's gotten so good with getting the arrests on camera.
Leah Black
Let's see her responsible if he's. If he's a grifter.
Ben Mandelker
I'm not saying she's responsible, but. Well, she seems to be helping for their marriage. I mean, if they're.
Leah Black
Yeah, but if you. Let's say he's a grifter, and I'm not saying that he is. I don't even know. I barely know.
Ben Mandelker
Who knows? I don't know.
Leah Black
You can't blame the wife with two kids for the husband's behavior.
Ben Mandelker
I'm not blaming anybody. I'm saying I want to see them in chains. Just send them all. I mean, I'm not saying who I blame. I'm not the judge and jury. I'm just saying as an audience member. Get em.
Leah Black
So you don't want them on the show anymore?
Ben Mandelker
I do want them on the show.
Leah Black
Oh, you want them on the show. You just want to root against them.
Ben Mandelker
Yeah, they're great characters on the show. I love them. I love you.
Jeff Lewis
To me, I just have felt like for the past few years, you've had this group, the fox force five, whatever, of Kyle and Dorit and Erica and at one point, Rinna and Teddy Mellencamp, and they all kind of, like, covered for each other.
Leah Black
Oh, I see.
Jeff Lewis
And they just sort of would like other people. They would kind of like, push out or they like what they with Denise Richards, etc. And so it's for me it's like nice to see this group finally kind of turning on themselves.
Leah Black
Do you miss Rinna? Do you like her on the show?
Jeff Lewis
I loved Rinna in the beginning. I thought she was great. I think she got too caught up in something. I feel like she was trying to be like Erica or something and I think she lost her way. But I think like give her some time off and then like I think I would welcome her.
Ronnie Karam
I don't think she wants to come.
Jeff Lewis
I don't. I think it seems like she's probably.
Leah Black
Traumatized so big in her career that I mean it's like that's a small thing to her compared to her career.
Jeff Lewis
I think she was, she was the best in the beginning when she came on as someone who's bigger than the housewives. Yeah, she was bigger than the housewives lives and she came on and she didn't care. She was above it all and she just had fun and she pit one person against another.
Leah Black
I think she got too invested in it.
Jeff Lewis
I think she got invested in it.
Leah Black
Well, that's the thing they do suck you in to get invested in it.
Ben Mandelker
It makes you crazy. I mean I feel like it took you a couple of years to stop being traumatized.
Leah Black
Yeah, it's post traumatic stress syndrome. You know why? Because I grew up in Texas in very friendly waters and I've never seen such desperate fame seeking people in my life. As I saw when I got on that show. I just was shocked by it, you know, like I'm just over there rooting for everybody. I want to get you a lingerie company. I'm going to get you a health club company. I'm going to get you this, I'm going to do that for you. I'm going to get all these things on. Meanwhile they're just out there going against me and stabbing in the back. I'm just like blindsliding. Like I don't know people that behave this way and treat people this way.
Ben Mandelker
It's just shocking to me and like the level of keeping up and getting back at each other through the blogs and all that stuff, I think it just starts making.
Leah Black
Oh, remember the first year on the show, I wore the ugly, tackiest clothes, drove a 15 year old car because I didn't want to make anybody feel uncomfortable or that, you know, I wanted to make them feel all comfortable and.
Ben Mandelker
I'm like, you were faking it. You got like a city or car?
Leah Black
No, I was a car that I actually had but I drove it and they all went out and borrowed cars. I drove my 15 year old station away. I didn't give a shit with my rollers in my hair. And while they're out there like going over to some car dealership making a deal to get a fancy car that they couldn't even afford the gas for, you know, and I just was like, wow, I didn't realize people live this way. It was shocking to me.
Ronnie Karam
