And so one year, just to be nice, I made a whole big Thanksgiving lunch for her and went. Put it on the porch and everything. Not a word. I thought, let's make peace because she's just obnoxious. I've never even met her. But Brandon talks to her.

Are you still having problems with her?

[Leah Black]

You know, I just got here yesterday, but the last time I was here, I didn't hear a peep from her. But Brendan said he went over there one day. They were using the pool, and she was yelling and screaming and turning the music up and everything. Mad because the music was loud. It wasn't our music. It was the music from the guy upstairs up the hill that's a DJ right across the street. And she was taking it out on us because she was mad at him.

What happened to the people underneath you that you flooded there?

[Leah Black]

Oh, my God. That $500,000 flood, I don't know. But the guy, the maintenance guy said, I don't think they really fixed it all that much, and I don't think they spent 500,000 on it. He said, I think that was a.

Pretty good insurance fraud.

[Leah Black]

I don't know. But, you know, I had to get in a fight with the insurance company to pay it because they didn't get covered on my policy.

A lot more excited than what's going on in my house.

Well, think about it. I mean, if you don't live here and you're not used to the hills, why would you think about covering insurance for people down below you on a hill in Florida? It's flat. You don't think about that.

Yeah, but then you, like, built that.

[Leah Black]

Cause, you know, the hills. I'm in the hills.

[Ben Mandelker]

Well, the first time I went over there on the day we were recording something, and she's like, oh, don't get behind me. I said, well, we have to put the camera somewhere. She goes, yeah, but those guys keep falling down the hill.

I live in the hills.

[Ben Mandelker]

And I was like, what do you mean they keep falling down the hill? She said, there's no regulations. Watch. And then, sure enough, we sat there and watched these poor guys, they were climbing up the hill, and they put, like, a brick. And then you just See, one the.

[Leah Black]

Neighbors, and they were rolling down. They were literally rolling.

[Ronnie Karam]

Wait, what. What were they doing?

[Ben Mandelker]

They were building a house, but it was on. You know, it was on the hill or on the side of the hill. And these poor guys, you know, they just. They're climbing up the hill, like, building the house.

[Ronnie Karam]

I don't think that neighbor pulled a single permit.

[Leah Black]

Oh, probably not. And the guys did keep rolling down the hill. We saw a couple of times.

We saw a couple. It was on video game.

We didn't run over to help, but we yelled, no.

Why would we? What are we gonna do? Like, you keep crawling up a hill and falling down. What the hell do you think is gonna happen?

They needed the work. Poor thing. That's my neighborhood, West Hollywood. It's crazy.

Thank you. Yeah, we announced that since the last time we were on here, we're going on tour starting next month. And we're having the Golden Crappies, which, if you guys happen to be in New York on February 1, you know.

Crappies, unfortunately, we won't be.

They used to have them here. But if you've never been to the Golden Crappies, you really have to go. It makes the Golden Globes and the Oscars look very lame.

Like, there'd be no reason for you to have it in Miami because there's only wannabes there. You know, there aren't any stars. But if you had it in LA or New York, you'll get a lot of good people.

That's why you need to be on the show. I was just saying to Ronnie backstage, I was like, when is Leah Black going to be back on the Real Housewives? Because the way you so casually just shade people is so perfect.

So we give out. Well, there's like, things like, you know, best Bravo show, best Bravo, Liberty, Best Villain, the worst.

Who are the contenders, you know?

Well, I don't know. Well, what we usually do is like a two tier voting system. So first we'll put up like a big ballot and everyone's going to vote on it and it's going to whittle each category down to five and then there'll be a second round of voting which will determine the winners. But we usually have some categories that change from year to year. Sometimes it's like, who's, like, messiest. We have categories for, like, Best Newbie. We'll have categories sometimes for Bronwyn. Bronwyn is definitely a front runner.

[Ben Mandelker]

There's some good ones.

[Jeff Lewis]

There's really a lot of good newbies. But Bronwyn's probably the front runner on that one.

I think so too.

See, I got her mixed up with that other girl named Bronwyn when you guys were talking about her From OC And. Yeah. And I kept saying I didn't think she was anything. And that's because it's a different Bronwyn.

So we went to Stockholm. We added two days onto our trip beforehand to go to Stockholm. And it was. I mean, it was so fun.

You know what I love about her? She gave away like how many millions of dollars to all those people for her. That was fantastic. And I read this one guy said he went home and celebrated and told his daughter, I can now send you to college because he didn't have the money. He said, go to college.

I would not. I say that was a good firing, but there's plenty of Looney Tune ladies on the Upper east side.

Yeah, go to the Upper west side.

Instead of the Upper east side. Get some of those crazy ladies.

I would do a blend. I would do a blend. Like a nice one. Like bring Dorinda back, bring Countess Luann back, keep Jessel, maybe find some new, like, kooky ladies from the Upper east side. But keep like.

[Leah Black]

Well, my favorite was always Sonya. I love Sonia.

[Jeff Lewis]

Sonia's great. But she lives in Florida now.

[Leah Black]

Well, she lives there because she probably isn't on a show in New York. I bet if she's on a show in New York, she'll live in New York. She's the quirky, funny one that has a good heart.

[Ronnie Karam]

Yeah.

[Leah Black]

She never had. She was always like, never mean. She was never a mean girl.

[Ronnie Karam]

That's not What I witnessed Sonia.

[Leah Black]

Well, maybe she watch what happens live. Oh, maybe she drank a little one night. Yeah.

[Ben Mandelker]

She gets two. She does it to herself, you know, and she really lasted a long time on TV for being like that.

[Ronnie Karam]

I think she's a silly, bad.

[Leah Black]

Oh, I know.

[Jeff Lewis]

I think that's.

That is.

That is an issue. And she's. I mean, Sonia. The stories that we hear on the road, because, you know, Sonia took her show on the road and so we've heard from different venues. Like, oh, yeah, Sonia was here. And then she, like, tried to get someone who worked at, like, the venue to drive her up to, like, San Francisco or something.

[Leah Black]

Sounds like something I would do.

[Jeff Lewis]

Maybe that's why I was like, wait a second. She's like, I love something at a pizza place.

[Leah Black]

She's just quirky.

[Ben Mandelker]

Sonia shows up and asks people to change her batteries.

[Leah Black]

What's the other one? What else is annoying? He wanted to. He asked. I'm curious.

[Ben Mandelker]

That one's getting me right now. Everything else, I think, has been pretty good. Right now on Bravo. Salt Lake City is glorious. I don't know if people really understand what kind of timeline we're living in. O.C. was great.

[Jeff Lewis]

Almost everything has been.

[Ben Mandelker]

Beverly Hills has been fine. You know, Beverly hills is like medium. It's always like kind of at mid level. But it's always good.

[Jeff Lewis]

Yeah, it's always good. I think it's like doing hitting above average this season, I think. Cause DORIt's really on one and it's been really entertaining to see her getting so mad every episode.

[Leah Black]

Wait, so we're watching her fall? So you like Dorit or you don't like?

[Ronnie Karam]

We've all been waiting for that.

[Leah Black]

See, I've always liked Dorit.

[Ben Mandelker]

Me too. I'm waiting for the year round.

[Leah Black]

Why does everyone want to watch her fall? I've always liked turn ready.

[Ronnie Karam]

I think because of her ego. And she hasn't always been completely so likable.

[Leah Black]

Why do you think she has such a big ego? I don't think she has a big ego because she dresses everybody.

[Jeff Lewis]

I'm on her side, though. The thing is this. I am fully on Dorit's side with her clashing with Kyle. You know, Kyle's reasons for why she has an issue with Dorit are so tenuous. Like, Dorit's are like, hey, we're best friends. And then you went on to Amazon live and said, we barely have a friendship. Like, that is fucked up to do to a friend. And Kyle's like, oh, you said this one. You didn't stand up for Teddy Mellencamp at bravo.

[Leah Black]

You're saying it's a false equivalent?

[Ben Mandelker]

Yeah, I don't think I do believe Kyle, that they weren't that close. I feel like Kyle has actual friends in her real life, and she's, like, filming friends. I think she's colleagues with doritos.

[Leah Black]

It means so much more. Dorit didn't feel that way. She felt like they were genuine.

[Ben Mandelker]

She probably should get some.

[Leah Black]

I always liked her anyway. You know what? I started watching as lost, that series.

[Ben Mandelker]

Oh, my God.

[Leah Black]

Speaking of Dorit, it's so good, but I got to addicted to it. I started binge watching it. It's really good.

[Ben Mandelker]

That's a good show.

[Leah Black]

Did you watch it?

[Ben Mandelker]

It was a good show. And like dorit, it's gonna have a very confusing.

[Jeff Lewis]

No answers. No clear answers.

[Ben Mandelker]

Dorit's downfall isn't because she's mean or anything. It's because her and PK Are such grifters. I mean, they've been such grifters for so many years. I just want to see. I mean, Bravo's gotten so good with getting the arrests on camera.

[Leah Black]

Let's see her responsible if he's. If he's a grifter.

[Ben Mandelker]

I'm not saying she's responsible, but. Well, she seems to be helping for their marriage. I mean, if they're.

[Leah Black]

Yeah, but if you. Let's say he's a grifter, and I'm not saying that he is. I don't even know. I barely know.

[Ben Mandelker]

Who knows? I don't know.

[Leah Black]

You can't blame the wife with two kids for the husband's behavior.

[Ben Mandelker]

I'm not blaming anybody. I'm saying I want to see them in chains. Just send them all. I mean, I'm not saying who I blame. I'm not the judge and jury. I'm just saying as an audience member. Get em.

[Leah Black]

So you don't want them on the show anymore?

[Ben Mandelker]

I do want them on the show.

[Leah Black]

Oh, you want them on the show. You just want to root against them.

[Ben Mandelker]

Yeah, they're great characters on the show. I love them. I love you.

[Jeff Lewis]

To me, I just have felt like for the past few years, you've had this group, the fox force five, whatever, of Kyle and Dorit and Erica and at one point, Rinna and Teddy Mellencamp, and they all kind of, like, covered for each other.

[Leah Black]

Oh, I see.

[Jeff Lewis]

And they just sort of would like other people. They would kind of like, push out or they like what they with Denise Richards, etc. And so it's for me it's like nice to see this group finally kind of turning on themselves.

[Leah Black]

Do you miss Rinna? Do you like her on the show?

[Jeff Lewis]

I loved Rinna in the beginning. I thought she was great. I think she got too caught up in something. I feel like she was trying to be like Erica or something and I think she lost her way. But I think like give her some time off and then like I think I would welcome her.

[Ronnie Karam]

I don't think she wants to come.

[Jeff Lewis]

I don't. I think it seems like she's probably.

[Leah Black]

Traumatized so big in her career that I mean it's like that's a small thing to her compared to her career.

[Jeff Lewis]

I think she was, she was the best in the beginning when she came on as someone who's bigger than the housewives. Yeah, she was bigger than the housewives lives and she came on and she didn't care. She was above it all and she just had fun and she pit one person against another.

[Leah Black]

I think she got too invested in it.

[Jeff Lewis]

I think she got invested in it.

[Leah Black]

Well, that's the thing they do suck you in to get invested in it.

[Ben Mandelker]

It makes you crazy. I mean I feel like it took you a couple of years to stop being traumatized.

[Leah Black]

Yeah, it's post traumatic stress syndrome. You know why? Because I grew up in Texas in very friendly waters and I've never seen such desperate fame seeking people in my life. As I saw when I got on that show. I just was shocked by it, you know, like I'm just over there rooting for everybody. I want to get you a lingerie company. I'm going to get you a health club company. I'm going to get you this, I'm going to do that for you. I'm going to get all these things on. Meanwhile they're just out there going against me and stabbing in the back. I'm just like blindsliding. Like I don't know people that behave this way and treat people this way.

[Ben Mandelker]

It's just shocking to me and like the level of keeping up and getting back at each other through the blogs and all that stuff, I think it just starts making.

[Leah Black]

Oh, remember the first year on the show, I wore the ugly, tackiest clothes, drove a 15 year old car because I didn't want to make anybody feel uncomfortable or that, you know, I wanted to make them feel all comfortable and.

[Ben Mandelker]

I'm like, you were faking it. You got like a city or car?

[Leah Black]

No, I was a car that I actually had but I drove it and they all went out and borrowed cars. I drove my 15 year old station away. I didn't give a shit with my rollers in my hair. And while they're out there like going over to some car dealership making a deal to get a fancy car that they couldn't even afford the gas for, you know, and I just was like, wow, I didn't realize people live this way. It was shocking to me.
