And we were hoping you would join us for dinner last night, but you were having dinner with Bravo. It was funny because she. Because you reached out, you said, what are you doing for. You know, do you have time for drinks? I said, I have drinks with Bravo. Meet us for dinner. She goes, I have dinner with Bravo. It was the same executive, by the way, which is really funny.

But I'm glad you were able to do the show. Shannon and I went to the famous Now Tucci restaurant in New York City.

And I have to say I would not have known about this restaurant if there wasn't a controversy over your mutual, you know, friends, Sonia Morgan. And I'm so glad it happened because I would not have gone otherwise. And I really enjoyed it.

I mean, that chicken parm, very good.

Everything was great.

And you know what? I've. I. You know, the guy was the owner. Max was very generous and very sweet. And, you know what's interesting is that he had brought over an entree, so we paid our bill, but he had brought over. He brought over the entree. Or 1. An entree or was an appetizer?

Appetizers, yeah.

He brought up in the meatballs.

But what's nice is he said, and it was very clear. These are for me. Are from me. These are from me. I'm like, okay, that's really nice. That's really nice to send over a appetizer.

Packed, really very crowded.

I'm wondering if all this press has helped.

I mean, it was young people. It was hot people. Like, it was good. A good crowd. But the chump who came over to us, she wasn't even involved in the whole. So she didn't follow it from Sonia. She was just, like, a New York City girl. So I. It's a good mix of, like, fans, plus real city people.

It's a restaurant family. They own Delmonico's.

[Jeff Lewis]

Do they own Delmonico's also?

[Earl]

So when he was. When he was describing this steak, he says, it's a Delmonico steak.

[Shannon Beador]

I was impressed with the. I thought the aesthetic was really nice, too.

[Luann de Lesseps]

How was the music? Was the music good music?

It was good.

What I like about the music, you.

[Luann de Lesseps]

Couldn'T really hear it that way, is.

[Shannon Beador]

That I can still hear Shannon talking. I'm not screaming. So when you kind of notice but don't notice, the music is really the way it needs to be. Now, of course, I had lots of questions for Max, and I'm like, come on, Max. What really happened? How many times has Sonia been here? And he said, well, you know, I knew Sonia because she was my neighbor. And so we were friendly. And I don't remember where Max said he invited. I don't know if he invited her in or she came in.

They were neighbors on Upper east side. And so he said, come down. Try Tucci. I'll take care of you.

[Earl]

Yes.

[Shannon Beador]

So he. So she came in with one other person, and he said, she's only been here.

[Jeff Lewis]

Was only here once before.

[Earl]

Yes.

[Shannon Beador]

And he said, she came in with one other person. I was very happy to comp it.

[Jeff Lewis]

I let her know in advance.

[Shannon Beador]

And it's. And he. But.

[Jeff Lewis]

And he said specifically, all you have.

[Shannon Beador]

To do is leave a tip. Now, we've been comped many times before. Now, when someone comps a dinner, I. Way over concentration, all the cash we.

[Earl]

Have, you figure how much was the meal? And you kind of give the server.

[Shannon Beador]

That she didn't tip. So he had to cover the. He had to cover the tip also for his employees. And then the second time she came in, you know, that was. We. We know the story. She. She had, I think, a reservation for three. She walked in with five. And she did expect to. She did expect to be. But there was no conversation beforehand about being comped. She did obviously not pay her bill. And also did not tip. She did not tip and did not pay her bill. Now, later, I think a few days later, after the. And he said, there's a lot of notable people that come in that do pay their bills. And he said he got a call from New York Post.

Correct.

[Shannon Beador]

He did not call the New York Post.

[Luann de Lesseps]

Right.

[Shannon Beador]

Because she made such a scene in the restaurant that someone had told the Post. The Post reached out to him for comment. He goes, I would never sell out any of my patrons.

[Luann de Lesseps]

Right.

[Shannon Beador]

So the Post had called him for the quote. Now, she did. She was very upset when they didn't comp the bill.

[Jeff Lewis]

And she actually got him on the phone.

[Shannon Beador]

He said he was at his mother's employment.

He was in Florida with his mom.

[Shannon Beador]

On vacation, and it was pretty late at night.

[Earl]

He said it was 11.

[Shannon Beador]

Yeah, I think 11. 11:30. Yes. And, you know, she had said that she was. She was insulted and appalled that she had to pay for that. And there was something else she said, which will. Will come to me. But that's kind of what happened. That was it really, in the. In a nutshell. Right.

[Earl]

But she paid. Then she paid the bill, and she.

[Luann de Lesseps]

Ended up paying the bill. Right.

[Earl]

And she tipped.

[Luann de Lesseps]

Okay, good.

Few days later.

[Jeff Lewis]

[Shannon Beador]

But as the manager, I met the manager also, and he said, Giuseppe. Giuseppe. He said, in any other circumstance, if someone were to get up and walk out without paying the bill, we would call the police.

[Luann de Lesseps]

Well, yeah, but they know Sonia. And, you know, Sonya can be very forgetful. I will give her that. But, you know, the good news is that she did make it. Right. And paid and then gave a tip. So that's good.

[Shannon Beador]

I remember what he told me when she called Florida at 11:30 at night. She had gone off about how she's a celebrity and a single mother and she was trying every which way to get this bill paid. She said, and I quote, I did not make this up. This came right out of his mouth. She said, rocco's pays me to be at their restaurant. What's Rocco's? Do you know Rocco's?

[Luann de Lesseps]

No. I mean, Rocco was like an old friend of hers that was actually on the show that she used to hang out with, but I think he passed away. Now.

[Shannon Beador]

It's a steakhouse, so it's probably hard to get a payment.

[Earl]

Then he said it was a steakhouse house. I'd say, yeah, it's like a steakhouse.

[Luann de Lesseps]

Well, okay. Moving on.

[Shannon Beador]

Okay. Yeah, we. I mean, I guess we could. We can move on.

[Luann de Lesseps]

Yeah, let's not make it about Sonorita. Let's make it about the Love Hotel.

Oh, yes, absolutely.

Love Hotel. That's much sexier.

Absolutely. You know, I just. That, you know, I just had a little scoop, so, you know, just had to. Had to share it.

I know you did, because I know you. How much you love Sonia.

He also spoke to the owner, the owner of the restaurant in Florida. He spoke to the owner, had called him and told him what happened there and that I said, oh, did she not pay the bill again? And they said, no, that's not what happened. She was so drunk, allegedly so drunk and disorderly, that they. She had two choices. We can either call the police to remove you, or we can call an Amy.

Was that the Palm Beach? Yeah, yeah, that's the Palm beach thing.

[Shannon Beador]

Yeah.

[Luann de Lesseps]

God, they love us in Palm beach, don't they?

[Shannon Beador]

Yes. So that's. That's all I have to report. That's all I have to report. All right, but what are you worried about? I know you're friendly with her, but what are you worried about?

No, I. I mean, it's just a horrible situation, you know, like. Because they happen so close, you know, in time with each other.

Yeah. Yeah.

So, you know, I just.

You know, I just hope she's okay because.

Well, she's obviously not okay.

Well, I know, but she's okay today because I live in the moment.

Because I'm the only one that doesn't excuse the bad behavior. And I called it out. Yeah, that's why. That's why. So does anyone have any questions at all?

But I don't know. You know, I don't know if we're going to see her on Bravo anytime soon or any other network. In my opinion, she's unhirable, and I don't see an insurance company that would ever cover her. But anyway, Love Hotel, it's a great show.

I have watched six episodes so far, so I'm all caught up. Two more.

I'm sucked.

I mean, you guys, they're. They're good episodes. Like, they're. It's.

Wow. They're all good episodes.

They are. You know, it's like. It's the journey, right? We get there, we're presented with guys that don't even know who we are. Which is amazing. Yeah, right. And so I love the, I love the guys that they picked. I thought, you know, especially the first batch. All of them, right? Well, you know, all of them. But. But I think they did a great job, you know, casting. You know, let's think about this. These are like regular dudes, right? And here they get thrown into the love hotel and you would think that they'd been doing reality forever, right? There's no like weirdness, isn't it? They're like very natural and camera, which I found very comfortable, open. I was really surprised.

[Jeff Lewis]

What I like about you, and I.

[Shannon Beador]

Think this was a really great casting choice by Bravo is that you were kind of the unofficial hostess. You're very, very gracious, very friendly to everyone. Even though, I mean, I knew that some of those dudes you were not gonna touch with a ten foot pole. But you were lovely. You were lovely. And you too. You were very vulnerable, very sweet, a little too emotional.

[Earl]

But I don't think. You know what I mean?

[Shannon Beador]

I don't think so.

[Earl]

I mean, I did not go there with the intention of shedding a tear. I was going to have fun, right?

[Luann de Lesseps]

So listen, you know, we were welcoming to them and I think that made a big difference in them being comfortable.

[Shannon Beador]

Agreed.

[Luann de Lesseps]

We were very welcoming. And that's what I do. You know, I'm a hostess of cabaret, right? So it's like, welcome to my living room.

[Shannon Beador]

I was wondering how long it took to get to that.

[Luann de Lesseps]

Sit down, sit down.

And so that's. Write this down. 11 minutes.

11 minutes. Hey, that's good. I'm doing better, I'm doing better. So. No, but seriously, I'm a hostess, right? So it's about welcoming people, making them feel comfortable and that's what a good hostess does. And so for the love hotel, you know, I think that made a big difference that they were also inviting to them.

[Earl]

It did.

[Shannon Beador]

I had a dinner with Andy and we were talking about the love hotel and it just, it could not have been a better cast. I don't know. I know it was all random and like somebody canceled and then now they have a fill in and someone else cancels. It ended up being the best chemistry and I really felt like a real true friendships were being built not only between the ladies, but between the men.

[Luann de Lesseps]

Oh, totally.

[Earl]

Oh, they have like a monthly zoom call and they have a group text that some of the men say I had to exit out. Cause it's daily, multiple times a day.

[Luann de Lesseps]

No, I know, it's crazy. They're really more in touch than we are. Because, you know, they really bonded. You know, the guys did. And, you know, we did as friends, because we didn't know each other. I thought at first I was like, what a weird cast. Yeah, right. But guess what? The stars aligned.

[Shannon Beador]

Did you guys know each other really well before this?

[Earl]

No, not really well, but we did Project Runway together, so we were together every day, like, doing the hair and makeup together.

[Luann de Lesseps]

Bravocon and things like that. Right.

[Shannon Beador]

Just so you know, Shannon is your friend. Last night, she probably said six times, I love Luann. I did love Luanna. You guys really, really bonded on this trip.

[Earl]

We had a lot of fun together.

And I felt like her protector also.

[Earl]

Well, she was.

[Shannon Beador]

Yes, you were very protective.

[Earl]

She's protective of everyone.

[Shannon Beador]

Yeah, but you also let her do her thing and make her own decisions and all that. But you were.

I was surprised by that. But she was struggling with who to choose. I mean, it was like opposite ends of the spectrum, totally between Wale and Ralph.

But she's married to an older man. Right, right, right. So, you know, I. For her, I checked the box of older. I think Wale's Too young. I think Wale wants to have children. And I think that as she has two kids already and I don't think that's really her goal. I think she's aiming for older and richer.

She wants to be a second wife, not a first wife. She wants to have the successful man who's done the kids.
