Very heavy. Very heavy. And so I refused to get rid of my furniture because I've had it since I was 15. It was like my first purchases in my life. And I love it.

Okay, so we have five bedrooms in the house. But tell me what all these rooms are used for then. Because you had to move out of your bedroom.

No, she moved into mine.

Of course I do. Come on now, Jeff.

I'm nice. So one of our rooms is basically a closet at this moment in time. So it's like all of our shoes dress. Like it's just a shoe closet room. Then we have another room that's kind of become a bit of a storage space, and it's holding, like, the other.

Bed that she bought at the other house.

Just a bed. Didn't like it. It's like a bed frame I don't want right now. A couch, some of that stuff. A little bit more clothing overflow. There's a lot of clothing between the two of us. A lot of bags, whatever. And then. Then Raven has her room. Then I have the master. Then downstairs, the other room that could be a bedroom or an office is my gym. And then the adu is the art room.

Okay, so now. So now you are. Raven joins you in the primary suite because your sister comes into town for a week.

Now, how does that work? Because you guys fight over the thermostat. Don't. Do you not.

She just surrendered and had to have the temperature be what it is. So she wore a hoodie and socks and sweats and then brought, like, two extra blankets. Correct.

Yeah. What is that? What is the temperature at 71. That's not that cold, right?

It's very cold. I can't have cold air coming into my nose. When I was younger, I lived in, like, the. It was a storage space kind of by the attic, and there was no heat in my room when I was growing up in the south, and so it was always cold. And my parents never stored their heat on so I don't do well. I get really sick so I have to have a cover over my face.

And hoodies on. When I was living by myself, I would put the thermostat to like 78.

Yeah. Almost 80 sometimes. And I would actually be.

And so it's interesting, Jeff, that you hate that person so much. It's. It would be interesting for you to dive deeper into what that relationship looked like, what that person triggered in you, and what you saw in that person that might be similar to yourself or similar to someone in your life that you know, that you had to deal with. Like a parent that made you feel rage, anger, hurt that you were never.

Did you not have enough self love, self worth, self confidence? What was the belief system in your mind about yourself at that time that you were allowing yourself to be treated that way? That's all for you to digest, process, and learn from to then not repeat.

So this all started yesterday because I went in on. On Jameson and Frank's relationship. And then when I got out of the radio, I'm like, what was that? Like, why am I so triggered by it? Why am I so invested in this? What is. What is that? Because I realized, like, this is not about them. This is about me. Like, what is it? And I think I see and I apologize if I went into hard on you, Jameson. And you know that I. Maybe you don't know this, but I do really respect you and care about you and. And I'm Protective of you. And all I'm going to say is that I'm not comparing Frank to any of my exes. But there was some behavior that I see in Frank that reminded me of my ex. And I'm realizing that I don't have contempt for Frank. I have contempt for my ex. And because that behavior reminds me of my ex, it fucking triggers me.

And that's how I felt. And so that's why I get so upset when I see that. Jameson. Right.

Well, I will say that, you know, yesterday I did have a whole theory about these gay guys that, you know, these 50 gay guys in their 40s that, you know, go to the beach in their Speedos and sing.

Yeah. So I think that maybe they're these. You know, maybe these guys were maybe suppressed or bullied in high school. Maybe they couldn't be themselves and couldn't really live their authentic lives. So maybe now that they're. It's a little more acceptable. Maybe. What I'm. I'm really. I'm chasing, I'm doing. I. What?

You know, I thought about it last night, too.

I think I thought about it last night, too. When I was singing was, you know, for me. I like to challenge myself in ways I can challenge myself. I can't jump out of a plane. I can't really get on a roller coaster. And a few years ago, I was going to these gay beaches. Everyone's in a Speedo. And I was like, it's not for me. And then I thought, you know, what. What is this about? This is something within you. It's some kind of insecurity you have. See if you can push yourself in a way that's safe and comfortable. And I was able to do it. So I wasn't always comfortable with it. I'm not saying you need to do it, but I understand not being comfortable with it. And there's nothing wrong with it.

That's what I was gonna say. Jeff, do you remember two times ago when we were here, we talked about pride, and you and I were both kind of like, we don't like pride. I think that there's something like. I don't want to say it's some deep internalized homophobia or whatever, because I think that takes it too. Too far.

But I do think that there is a level of ickiness and maybe not wanting to be represented or mistaken to be that type of person.

When you're not. And I think for you, as somebody who, like me, we're vain. We care about what we look like. We care about how we're received. We care about what people think about us. You don't want to be looped into a group of anything that you find.

That is absolutely true. And yesterday, when I was looking at all of this, I thought to myself, there's all these different kinds of gay people out there. Right. I'm not the guy that's gonna, you know, put on a Speedo with 50 other men.

And go and sing at the beach. I'm just not. I'm not that. I'm not that person.

I'm not. No. And I'll never be that person. And I don't think it's. You know, I don't think it's a deep insecurity or anything like that. It's just not my thing.

But what's beautiful is you don't have to be that. And I can be that. And they can exist at the same time.

That's fine. But then pride, comma, butt, comma, butt. However, pride is different because pride, again, there is a certain segment of the gay population that I think act inappropriately, and I feel like that is. Not only is that I just don't even want to be associated with.

You know, every group is like that Christian that. There are some Christians that I can, like, chill with, and there's some that I'm just like, yo, this is too much. There's different.

And that is what makes our community and our society and our world interesting, because there's spectrums to everything. But wherever you sit on the spectrum, you just have to sit at your. Sit at. On your totem pole right there on your spectrum and let them spectrum on theirs.

And you just have to be okay, Jeff. Being uncomfortable. And you have to understand that that doesn't mean anything deeper for your nervous system. Because a lot of time I feel like when we're uncomfortable, we somehow deeply feel like, deep down buried, you're unsafe, or you feel fearful, or you feel deeply, like, disgusted. And it's okay to have all of those emotions. And you can still remind yourself in your present day that you are like, a successful, adult, respected man who is. Who's raising a. I'm sure I haven't met her, but a beautiful daughter. And, like, I. I know you just have to remind yourself that.

I love it because you have your radio for this. Like, I agree with a lot of things you're saying. We go out there, and especially in our community, it's like, put some clothes on sometimes, but then it's like, dang, I can't do that. You have so much freedom in your system to where you can do that. Why don't I have that? I go back and forth as well. But I do agree with you. There's some decorum.

Hi. I just had a real problem with that whole mentality. I think it's really judgy. And I think that the whole idea of pride is to be. Is because people have been persecuted for this for centuries, and they can do whatever they want because everybody else has the freedom to do whatever they want. It's. It's. It's just comes off as, to me, not the idea of what pride is all about.

Okay. So, Scotty, have you actually. Have you been to a Pride event? Have you been to recently? Recently? I mean, you have to. You have to admit you don't take your kids. I don't. But you have to admit that there is. There's a lot of. In my opinion. Well, you don't have to admit, in my opinion, there's a lot of public indecency. I think there's things that I understand about, you know, marching and being free and expressing yourself, but there's a time and a place, I think, at, you know, noon on a Sunday, in front of, you know, 10,000 people, I think to be half naked, simulating sex, I think is inappropriate. And I think, frankly, it's disrespectful to all the other people. It's not something I want to see.

The persecution that has happened within the LGBTQ community is about being themselves and expressing themselves freely, for sure, the lack of laws around us. But I think there's also a level of decency that we have to put out there to let the entire world know that this community isn't just about sex. It isn't just about expressing your body freely. It's about being able to be who you are in a society and function appropriately as well.

And that you can show yourself and show your love for yourself without having to then be come kind of an object and objectifying over sexualized, objectified kind of shock valued perspectacle that doesn't actually accurately represent I think the heart of pride which is equality, love.
