There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power.

Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the healer. And just know this. It is our joy and our honor to get to spend this time with you as we feed on the Word together. We are in the midst of our series called In Christ I can. And if you've missed any of them because there's well over 240 of them, go back and watch them again. And if I could say this, some of them you may need to watch repeatedly. That's one way of meditating on the Word, getting that word on the inside of you. Just know this. Full faith never comes with one hearing. We have to keep hearing and hearing. The first time we hear the Word taught, that is a seed that is sown in our spirit. But when that truth is repeatedly heard, we're watering that seed from then on out and it's it. The. The seed has to be watered for it to grow and produce in our life. So we ask you, go ahead and watch repeatedly some of these episodes that seem to speak to you in a very particular way because it will bring you into a higher order of faith. Amen. When we find out who we are in Christ, faith is no longer a struggle. And not only is faith no longer a struggle, struggle leaves our life when we know how to put the greater One on the inside of us, to work for us, in us and through us. You know, when we recognize who's in us and we learn to draw on the greater One within us every day. Do you know that our life quits looking like the people around? Because there are really so many Christians who don't really understand who's in them, and they don't really know how to put him to work for them. But we're all learning together and we don't want to settle back and be okay with Our life looking like everyone else's when our life needs to look like the one who indwells us. We are the temple of the Holy Ghost. That needs to matter to us. That needs to. That needs to impress upon us that our life should look radically different than the person number one who's unsaved or the person who may be saved but doesn't know who's in them. The devil would love to hide from you the truth of who you are in Christ. He wants that to be a vague and if I could say this, a blurry understanding to you. But we receive by faith. And that I am in Christ, he is in me. And everything that God dreamed for your life, he put in Christ. Then he put Christ in you. We. We have been reading in Colossians chapter two, verse nine, as our golden text for this series. And the living Bible translation says this. For in Christ there is all of God in a human body. So you have everything when you have Christ. And look at this. And you are filled with God through your union with Christ. So know this. This is what redemption was all about. To bring us into oneness with the Father, that we would be filled with God. Just as Jesus was filled with His Father. He was one with the Father. And Jesus paid the price. Yes, to redeem us from sin. Yes, to redeem us from sickness and poverty and tragedy and from even partaking of hell. He changed our very eternal destination. But he did that by one flow, bringing us into oneness with the Father. That he's no longer just God to us, but He's Father. When. When Jesus referred to God, you notice he didn't use the word God, he used the word Father. He constantly lived, making himself aware and announcing to others that God was not just something apart from him. God was His Father, that He was His Son. And in that there was a shared flow. You know, when you're part of a family, everything of that family belongs to the members of that family. Jesus constantly lived aware that everything of His Father was His. That that's where the miracles came from, the oneness with His Father. And Jesus made He paid the price. Not just so we could miss hell and go to heaven. Even though that is huge, we don't downplay or diminish that. But really, redemption was about oneness, bringing us into the source of life, that we now not just love God, but we have the nature of God. We have his life, eternal life on the inside of us. Why is that? So we would quit drawing on human life and now draw on divine life. That everything that is of God's makeup, everything that is of his nature, everything that's of his character, that now it is available to us and in us for us to draw on. Now what is going to make us a true success in life is to draw on him and quit drawing on the human side of us. Yes, we're still in. We're still in flesh. We still have a body. But know this. We also are full of God. And this is what Colossians, chapter 2, verse 10, the living Bible says. So you have everything when you have Christ. And you are filled with God through your union with Christ. Know this. We have to build this truth in us through meditating on it, speaking it, muttering it to ourselves, drawing on that in the face of everyday circumstances. That when opposition tried to touch you, it. It's. It's touching God. And it will not win when it touches God. That the Word tells us in Psalm chapter 9, verse 3, that our enemies will fall and perish in his presence. Well, I want you to know he's present in you. And when your enemies try to touch you, they bump into him. And they cannot prevail when they bump into him because they will fall and perish at his presence. Know this. Build this in you that when the devil tries to touch you, he touched the presence of God. And the presence of God will deal with him. And that presence on the inside of you has authorized you to tell the devil. No, it's authorized you to for to forbid being stolen from that. The greater one on the inside of you is using your mouth to resist the devil. Using your mouth to keep things in place in your life. You don't just sit back and wait for his presence to speak. You are full of his presence and you speak from that place of his presence. And then you are able to address and be the custodian of your life by enforcing the authority that belongs to you because of who indwells you. We don't sit silently by and wait for God to deal with something, but we speak from that place of oneness with our Father. When opposition shows up, we say, how dare you try to violate the dwelling place of God. How dare you try to violate the one who is the temple of the Holy Ghost. How dare you try to violate where the Word of God lives. The Word of God is in my spirit. The Word of God is in your spirit as you sow the seed of his word in you. And how dare the devil think that he is a worthy opponent of who is on the inside of you. I Want you to know the devil is a defeated foe, and he is far lesser than the greater one on the inside of you. Acts chapter 17 in verse 28, we are to get this truth on the inside of us. We're to build it in us. What does it say? In him we live, in him we move, and in him we have our being. None of that is us drawing on humanity. Every bit of that is us drawing on the life of God on the inside of us. Eternal life, the Divine One who's on the inside of us. This is where we're going to really live life in its highest sense. When we learn to draw on him, we spend him. Instead of running back to the natural, running back to the mental, running back to psychological help. Because psychological help can only try to fix you from the mental, from the mental arena. And I want you to know the fix for your life is in your spirit, not in your mind. And you are indwelt by the life of God. He is the highest force. He is the overcoming force to all that, the victory that is yours. So learn immediately to turn to the One within you. Don't turn immediately to your mind. Break that bad habit. Break the habit of turning toward your flesh, turning towards your emotions, turning toward your feelings. How many people are living being pushed around by their feelings? If their feelings get hurt, their behavior reflects hurt feelings. I refuse to have hurt feelings. Why? I'm not drawing on a place of hurt. I'm not drawing on my feelings. I'm not letting my feelings take the highest step seat in my life. In Him I live. Not in my feelings. I live the feelings that really God offered for our life. They're to be held in their proper place. They are not to be given a seat in our life that would try to lead us. But so many are led by their feelings. And it's robbing them of the highest flow. It's robbing them of living in its highest sense. My feelings will not push me around. They will not do my thinking for me. They will not govern who I allow in my life, who I don't allow into my life. Because sometimes people have pushed out God's divine flow by pushing out people that hurt their feelings. Sometimes those those feelings, those people that you say hurt your feelings, were really trying to bring you into the truth of God's word. So never allow these things of your humanity trump the things of divinity. Never allow these things that make up your soul, soulish realm, your mind, your will and your emotions. Never let them take the seat, the highest seat in your life. When it's God who dwells in your spirit, who is to have the highest seat in Him. I live. I refuse to live in my feelings. I refuse to live in my emotions. They simply color my life. But they are no Savior. They are no Master. And they I refuse to let them lord it over over me. I'll be governed by God and His Word. And look at this. For in him we live. Well, could we not say in His Word we live? Why? Because God and His Word are one. If we say we're going to live in him, that means that we have to live being governed by the Word. That God and His Word are to take the lead voice in our life. Not. Not me and my feelings, not me and my emotions. And look at this. Certainly not me and my past, but it's me and the Father in me who the One who does the works that he will manifest through me. He will change and he will elevate every single flow of my life if I will keep him in his proper place. There are other features of my life, but they're not the highest seat of my life. And every other feature of my life must bow to the to the One who's in the highest seat. My emotions I make bow to Him. My emotions I make bow to His Word. My feelings bow to Him. My feelings bow to the Word. They will not lead me. They will not trump him in my life. In him we live. In His Word we live. That means that we go first and we say. What's the Word say about that? I'm going to respond based on the Word. If we respond based on our feelings, how it will rob from us. If we respond based on our emotions, how that will cheat us? It will hold us in a state of spiritual immaturity. It will not only hold us spiritually immature, it will dwarf our spiritual growth. It will stunt us in our growth. Not only that, it will rob us of who we are in Christ. Your emotions are not going to point to who you are in Christ. That is the job of your Spirit, to point to who you are in Christ and make your emotions and your feelings bow. Just know this, that your emotions will keep you outside of everything God authored for you. Never let your emotions trump the plan of God in your life. So many times people have walked away from the plan of God because they got their feelings hurt. I refuse to feel hurt. I make them bow to. I make my feelings bow to who he is in me. I will not be led by something that's changeable. I am led by him who is unchangeable. And that gives me an anchored life. It gives me a stable, established life. And not only that. Then no matter how someone treats me or they don't treat me, I'm the same. Because I'm drawing on him who is my life. And I'm not drawing on the attention people may or may not give. That means I'm more interested in whether or not God is pleased than anyone else. I'm not cold about people in my life, but I know this. I'm pleasing God first. Because the only way to really please the people that God has put in my life is to please God first. Because when I please God first, I can be a greater blessing to the people in my life. If I'm displeasing to God, not walking in faith, not allowing his word to govern me, I cannot be the supply I am to be to others. So know this to be the greatest blessing to people. We have to draw our life on him or from him and not draw our life from the things around us. Just know this. Circumstances will disappoint you in life, but the one who indwells you will never disappoint you. And we can look at life and see, oh, this circumstance changed or this person changed in my life. That doesn't matter in the sense of the they aren't my source, they aren't the one who saved me, my obligation, my heart. Obligation is in his direction. God is the one who paid the price by sending his son. Listen, God authored a plan. Jesus purchased that plan. And the Spirit of God is leading us into that plan. There's not humanity listed in any part that authored the plan. No man authored the plan for my life. No man paid the price for my plan, and no man is leading me into it. That's the seat of God in my life. God is the author of the plan. Jesus purchased it. And the Spirit of God is leading me in it. Therefore, they deserve my highest obligation, they deserve my highest attention, they deserve my highest honor. And when I keep God his word, His Son, His Spirit in their proper place, the lead place in my life, everything else is blessed. But if I try to put something less than God's best in the in the lead seat, everything will suffer in my life, everything will diminish. Everything will feel the effects of me not drawing on the greater one in me. If I will draw on him, how he will elevate every single arena. You know, even financially or in a profession, if people try to author their own success, they try to create Their own success through their profession. They're going to have to rob from some arena of life to do that. How many times I know this. In pastoring 25 years, I saw people that they were giving their profession the seat of first in their life. They had put their profession above everything else, even above their life in God, even above being a blessing to their local church that they would come and they would attend to their local church only sporadically. And what was that? They were putting something else in that highest spirit. Because they were trying to prosper in a financial arena, they were trying to prosper in their profession, in their business. And in trying to prosper one arena of their life they had to rob from other arenas. When God is put first, he will elevate every arena. He will not rob from one arena to furnish another. And this is so important for us to learn that if we try to ensure our own success and put the wrong thing in the highest seat, it will rob from some other arena in our life. How many times that people have robbed from their home life, their family life, their marriage, because they put a profession in the first seat, or they put a different relationship in the first seat? Well, by doing that, we're going to be disappointed, God in this, in the lead seat of our life, that in him we live, then every single arena will flourish. Your spirit man will flourish. The soul of man, his mind, his will, his emotions will flourish. His body will be strengthened. His body will flourish. Not only that, his material life will flourish. The relationships in his life will flourish. Because when God is put first, he blesses every arena. When the natural man, the carnal man, the human side, is put first, something is going to suffer because there will be sorrow added. But the blessing of the Lord, he makes rich and he adds no. So with it. Why would he add no sorrow with his blessing? Because he has no sorrow. He's got no sorrow to add. But in the. In the natural, carnal, human side of life, it has room for sorrows. But I want you to know God. When he is our life and we put him first, no sorrow can enter simply because he has no sorrow to give. And when he is our life, when he is the place, the fountain that we're drawing from, there is nothing but goodness and mercy flowing out of that place. And so know this. He in him we live. Decide. You're not going to live any other flow than him in the lead, than him being your strength, him being the one you're pleasing, him being the one you're putting first. So Many people in life struggle with a poor self image. Why is that? They're looking at them. But when you are focused on him, every weak, every shattered, every damaged self image is completely annihilated. Why is that? Because when we recognize who's in us, we see ourself in him. And we can't look at him and ourselves. Stay troubled, stay cheated, stay damaged. When we are. When we are. If I could say this. Struggling with our self image, we're invited to look a different place than ourself. Because you'll never see the real you looking at self. You see the real you looking at Him. And so what is that Christ in you? The hope of glory. When you find out who Christ is in you for you and through you, you're really seeing the real you. Because as he is, so are we in this world. We are to see ourselves in Christ. Why is that? Because that's how God sees us. And when he sees us in Christ, he doesn't see the past, he doesn't see weakness. He doesn't see faults and flaws and failures. He's not going to point at that with condemnation. Look at Proverbs, chapter 4 and verse 20. What does this first phrase say? My son, attend to my words. Why is that? Because when we keep his word in front of us, when we keep our attention, that's what I see when I see the Word attend Attention, My son, put your attention on my words. Why is that? Because as his words are our attention, we're seeing God. We're seeing the way God thinks, the way God moves, the way God operates, the way God flows. If we say that we're keeping our attention on his words, you know what? Our attention is not on condemnation. The past, thoughts, failures, weaknesses. I want you to know he doesn't say, My son, attend to condemnation. His words will never lead you to condemnation. His words will never lead you to guilt or to shame. If our. If we're. If we're under the weight of those things, it's because our attention has left his word. Our attention has left the one who indwells us. And we have put our attention on things of the past. Things of self, things of humanity, things of the flesh, things of other people's behaviors, their actions toward us. And we can live disappointed. So that's why God has given us the remedy to every disappointment in life. When he says, my son, put your attention on my words, that fixes everything. When our attention is on the right thing, our life goes the right direction. Our life is going the direction of of our attention. So know this, that if your life is going the wrong direction, if it's going in a direction that's disappointing, you put your attention on the higher one. Put your attention on him, you say, how do I put my attention on Him? Put your attention on His Word. Take the thoughts of the Word and make them your thoughts. Take his thoughts and say, this is the way I'll think. Any thought that troubles you didn't come from him, resist it, reject it, and refuse to touch it in your thought life. Quit trying to fix your life through your mind. But you're going to have to fix your life by looking at the Word. The Word is the mirror that we see, the real reflection of the true us when we see Him. Now know this. If we are to live the highest flow when it says in Acts, chapter 17, verse 28, in him we live. If we're to do that, we're going to have to live mindful of his presence. Know this, that the Word leads us to Him. The Word always is to lead us into an awareness that he's present. He's in me. I don't have to feel him to know he's in me. Do you know there are organs in your body right now? There's organs in my body. I don't feel them, but they're there and they're functioning and they're supplying my life. Don't wait for a feeling of him to know he's in you. Don't wait for a feeling of him to know you're one with the Father. But I will say this. If you'll develop your awareness of Him, I guarantee you, you'll sense Him. But we're not going to know awareness of him by what we feel. We're going to know him best by His Word. Because the Word is Him. The Word will always show us him in His Highest and it will always bring us into the flow that he has authored for our life. So know this. You are one with the Father. There's your value. You are one with the Father. There's the plan. There's the faith for your life. There's the love of God. You are one with love. You are one with a God of faith. You are one with the One who authored his plan for your life. You're not separate trying to reach Him. You're not desperate trying to get more of Him. He's in you find out who's in you. Live aware of Him. And know this. You're not trying to get more of Him. But if you'll understand, come into greater understanding, greater revelation of who's in you. That's how you live in the flow of the more of God. Amen. Well, you don't want to miss next time because we're going to continue this direction. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the Healer. God bless you.

I want you to know that every single person in this world needs a Savior and the greatest thing of all is that we have one. But this Savior must be welcomed. This Savior must be received. And it's so easy to receive Jesus as the Savior. The Word says that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. So right now do that with me. Say Jesus, I receive you as my Savior. Come into my heart and be the Lord of my life and I'll live for you all the days of my life. God bless you. Episode: 1007 | In Christ I Can, Part 247
Date: May 12, 2026
Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
This episode continues Nancy Dufresne's ongoing series "In Christ I Can," focusing on the believer's identity and authority in Christ, the importance of meditating on God’s Word, and living from the reality of God’s presence within. Nancy emphasizes the transformative power of understanding union with God, drawing from scriptural truths in Colossians and Acts, and warns against letting emotions, mind, or external circumstances govern one's life. The teaching centers on living by the higher life in Christ, rather than the limited, fluctuating resources of our humanity.
Opening Declaration: There is enough power present “in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one.”
Participatory Affirmation: The audience is led to repeat:
Nancy stresses that faith comes by continual hearing, not a one-time experience:
She encourages repeated listening to teachings that “speak to you in a very particular way” to water the seed of the Word, building a higher order of faith.
Central Text: Colossians 2:9-10 (Living Bible)
Identity Shift:
Key Insight: “We have his life, eternal life on the inside of us. Why is that? So we would quit drawing on human life and now draw on divine life.” (03:02)
Authority Over Opposition:
Active Participation: “You are full of his presence and you speak from that place…”—believers enforce authority with their own mouth, not passively waiting for God to act. (06:32)
Acts 17:28 Emphasis: “In Him we live, in Him we move, and in Him we have our being.” (07:07)
Practical Example:
Spiritual Maturity:
Proverbs 4:20 – “My son, attend to my words.”
Quote: “Our attention is not on condemnation... His words will never lead you to condemnation. His words will never lead you to guilt or to shame.” (19:41)
Practical Direction:
Addressing Self-Image:
Seeing the Real You:
On Oneness and Authority:
On Drawing from God Rather Than Circumstances:
On Divine Order:
On Who You Really Are:
Nancy Dufresne calls listeners to:
Final Encouragement:
“You are one with the Father. There's your value... You're not separate trying to reach Him. You're not desperate trying to get more of Him. He's in you. Find out who's in you. Live aware of Him.” (26:10)
For further study and encouragement, Nancy advises listeners to revisit these teachings and meditate on the scriptures highlighted, especially Colossians 2:9-10 and Acts 17:28.
