There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the healer. And it has been our complete delight to be on the series that we're bringing to you, called In Christ I can. And it's so important for us. Why? Because it is pertinent to every single child of God. This is not something we can be dismissive toward. But when we establish the truth of who we are in Christ, who He is in us, what he's made ours, what we can do because we're in him, what he wants to do through us, when we establish these truths in us, it brings us into the highest order of faith. We don't struggle with our faith when we realize who he is and when we know how to put him to work for us. That's a skill every single one of us need to develop. And know this, that it's not about getting more of God. We are filled with God. He's on the inside of us. Now. I know that there's times of refreshing in the presence of the Lord, that we're refreshed. But I just know this, that there's nothing of Himself that He has withheld from us, that we are the temples of the Holy Ghost, that we are the abiding place of God. And when we recognize that and we establish that truth in us, it changes everything about the way we think, about the way we speak, about the way we function and operate. I want you to again look with me in Colossians, chapter two, verse nine. And this is our golden text in this series. And this is the living Bible translation. It reads, for in Christ there is all of God in. In a human body. So know this, that there was none of God withheld from Jesus. I mean, he, God, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost. Look at this God the Word, and so then we also have, in verse 10. So you have everything when you have Christ, everything that he is full of, you're full of. Why? Because we have been made one in Him. We are joint heirs, we with Jesus. Everything that belongs to him belongs to us. So verse 10 again says, so you have everything when you have Christ. It's not about trying to get something from God. It's about us recognizing who we are in him and what he has already made ours. So you have everything when you have Christ. Look at this next phrase. And you are filled with God through your union with with Christ. It's not about trying to get more of God. It's about us recognizing we are filled. And why would we leave him inactive? Why would we not allow him to move and manifest the way he wants to? How far can he move in our life? As far as we'll allow him to. As far as we will acknowledge him, as far as we will respond to Him. As far as we will yield to Him. Look at this. As far as we'll obey Him. Because as we obey him, we're responding to Him. If we're not in obedience, then he is hindered from moving the way he wants to move. Because how do we respond? Faith obeys. And so this is what we're privileged to do, is that we are privileged to obey him, what he tells us to do. It's not just us deciding what our life should look like. It's us hearing from him the directions we're to take, the steps we're to make, and the ways we're to go. And so it's not about. And if you'll listen to too much of what the world would teach you about success, they'll teach you, you know, form a plan. Formulate a plan for your life. For the believer that you know, it's. How do you form a plan when you don't know what the future holds? You don't know the details of your future. The Holy Ghost will show us things to come. But I'll tell you this. He's not showing you everything. He's showing you just what you need to add your faith to. He's showing you what you need to know. We don't, none of us know every single second of the future of our life, but God does. And so he has authored a plan based on what he knows about our life. That's why we're not even capable of forming an accurate plan for our life. So the believer isn't left to operate the way the world does. Of form A plan for your life. You know what we're doing? We're hearing a plan for our life. We hear from God, we're led by God, we're directed by God and how that puts us in a flow of success. Because I don't care what your education is, you can hear the plan of God for your life. And you know, if it's just us forming a plan, then people would only form something that they could accomplish. But when we hear a plan from God, we hear what he will accomplish through us. And that brings us into a life that is authored by God. It brings us into a life of great fruit bearing. If I form a plan for my life, I cheat my life. But if I hear a plan from God, then I have him available to me. I have him available to be employed to. To fulfill that plan through me. God authored a plan and then he filled you with Himself because He wants to fulfill that plan through us. Then he turns around and rewards us for us being the channel that he moves and operates through. It's such a deal. Don't ever take your own plan when what God offers you is full of what heaven has for you. Now we've also been looking in the most recent episodes at Acts chapter in verse 28. This is a loaded passage. It says, in him we live, in him we move, and in him we have our being. There's nothing of your life, there's nothing of your future that leaves him out of it. All of this says that he is available to us, he is ours so that we can live as he would have us live, move as he would have us move and have a being that, that he can operate and manifest through. So we've been. We invite you, go back and watch. I think it's maybe the last five, six episodes that we've been focusing on this. This is actually, I believe, the sec. The seventh episode. I could be wrong about that. But in any way, the most recent episodes, we've been spelling this out. Go back and listen to them because they're divine utterances that we each need to have in our life. So look at this. In him we live. What's this mean? He is the sustaining flow, the sustaining force of our very life. We're not to try to conduct this life apart from Him. For us to really live in the highest sense of the word, we have to draw on Him. For us to really live the life he authored, it requires him working through us and us yielding to him through obeying Him. Then the next phrase says, in him we move what's this mean? We're moving with him in obedience. Faith moves with God. It's doubt and unbelief that hesitates and refuses to go forward to. To live in God. You're going to advance. If you're not advancing, we're not living in Him. He's not given the place to manifest as he wants to. If we're not advancing. There's nothing stationary about God. Everything in God is moving. Why? Because he is life. Everything about life carries movement. There's nothing stationary or inactive. And I could say this, nothing that quits operating in God quits functioning in God. Sometimes we have to really rethink the wording we use when we talk about spiritual things. Let's go to the Word to get our terminology. Let's not just go to how we perceive something. Example, people will say, oh, I'm praying for God to move. Well, in that we understand what their intent is. But when did God stop moving? I mean, it's not about getting God to start doing something he hasn't been doing. God's always been moving. We're the ones who stop moving with God. God doesn't stop moving. So really, when we say, I'm praying for God to move in this situation, then it's really, father, teach me to how to move with you, because you're already moving. The problem is I'm not moving with you. And this is why sometimes we have a wording that isn't quite correct. And then we start thinking in a way that isn't correct. We're not trying to get him to move. It's about us learning him, him, yielding to him, hearing him, responding to him, and moving with the movement he's already making. It's not, listen, if God weren't moving, you couldn't get him going. I mean, if he was unable to keep moving forward, nothing we could do could get him going forward. God never stops moving. Why? Because life is a movement, an eternal life. There's always advancement, there's always more, there's always increase. So we need to watch our wording because it gives us a wrong definition of some things. It gives us a misunderstanding. So what we need to say is, father, I recognize you've always been moving. You've always been moving. Help me to recognize your movement. Help me to know my part in moving with you. And this is called learning who we are in Christ. So that we recognize who he is, what he wants to do through us, and our part in cooperating with Him. So in him, we move. In him, we Live in him. We move and know this faith never stops moving. If we stop moving, we stepped out of faith. Faith is always moving with God. This is one thing that you'll find about if we look at the life of Paul. You remember that man was a man of action. He had a zeal for God, but he didn't have the right knowledge about God. He thought he was doing God a favor by imprisoning and consenting to the death of Christians. He was. He thought he was furthering God's cause when he was really kicking against it. And notice this, he was on the road to Damascus to. He was going to make further chaos in the church of God. He thought to do damage to God's people. And know this, that as he's on that road to Damascus to oppose the church, he has an encounter and he falls off of his vehicle. And you know, the horse, the donkey, he falls off of his. His transportation, he hits the ground and what is this? He hears a voice. He didn't see, but he heard a voice. And the glory of the light really blinded him. It wasn't a physical blindness. It was the glory was shown was shining so bright around him that it he could not see. And he heard something. And he said, saul saw this voice. Who was it? Jesus. Saul saw, why persecutest thou me? And notice he said, who are you? And he said, I am Jesus, the Lord, who you are persecuting. Well, Paul was not purposefully saying, jesus, I'm going to persecute you. No. What was he doing? He was touching God's family. He was touching the children of God. And Jesus took it personally. Why is this? Because he's the head. And when you touch his body, you touched the head. He is one with his body. What's this mean? We want to make sure that we don't touch the body of Christ in a wrong way, with wrong words, with wrong actions. Because anything we do against the body, we just did it against Jesus. And that's dangerous. We want to make sure we only ever bless the body. We never bring division. We never cause conflict in our local church. We never oppose and try to bring hardship into our local church trying to win our way. That is so dangerous. That's what Paul was doing. And so Jesus said, you're persecuting me. He took it personally. And so notice he said the next thing Paul said, what would you have me do? Look at that. Paul was a man of action. When he encountered Jesus on that road, his first thought is, what can I do? What work are you giving me to do? I want you to know faith is doing. Faith is moving. Faith is advancing. Faith is putting our hand to something. The more faith we have, the more we produce. Look at your life. Are you producing? Are you producing for the kingdom? Not just are you paying bills? Not just is your mortgage being met. What about what you're doing for God? What about what you're doing toward the kingdom? Furthering the kingdom on this earth? Well, this is what Paul was arrested in. He was doing. He was. He was a man of action, but he was working against the kingdom, not for the kingdom. But I want you to see the mindset of Paul. What would you have me do? God does not meet us in this life so that we do nothing. God doesn't fill us with himself, so we do nothing. Paul had this mindset. No wonder he was valuable to the kingdom to arrest this way, because he was a man of action. He was a man who would do. He was a man who took assignment and he would carry out assignments. We see this in that phrase, what would you have me do? Not what would you have me to just say? Not what would you just have me to think about? No, what would you have me do? And so notice this, faith turns you into a doer when you recognize that the greater one's in you. That's to turn us into a doer, not just somebody who sits by and enjoys the labors of another. But we become doers. We put our hand to something when we have faith. We. We are active in our local church. We're doing something. We're bringing a supply. We're not just thinking that attending is enough, but we're doing something. We're producing. And so we see this about Paul. No wonder he was one that the. That it said about him. He has turned the world upside down. What was that his doing? Directed by God. He was being led in what he did for the kingdom of God. And it had such a result that the world was not left in the same condition. He showed up. One man showed up as a doer. And I want you to see this in Acts 17:28. In him, we move when we move according to how he's directing. It won't leave the world the same. It won't leave situations the same. It will cause them to come into a flow that God has authored. And I want you to see that. We have to examine our life. Are we producing? Are we moving? Well, Pastor Nancy, I just don't have the opportunity. Right where you're at, you have every opportunity don't wait for something public before you do something important. Don't wait for something big before you do something every day. I love something. That Dr. Lester Sumrall, he was a. He was a man of raw faith, an apostle to the world, and he said, I don't do anything great. I just do something every day. Now look. Look at that. So many people have the wrong definition of greatness. They think greatness is doing great acts. Greatness comes out of doing something every day, doing the right thing every day. And so I want you to know, mamas and daddies, when you're raising your children based on the word, you're doing the right thing every day. That's a great thing you're doing. It might not look very public, but it's certainly going to show up in public. The way your children are raised, what you're sowing into them, it's going to show up in public. It's going to show up. The way you handle them is going to show up in them. So if we. We. We don't just want to handle our children. We want to handle them in a way that we want to be represented. Because that's a movement in our life. It's not about is what I'm doing being applauded, is it being recognized? Whether we're recognized or not in our doing we're to be doing. Why? Because we're not trying to get the attention of people. We're just noticing. I want God pleased. I want him to see it. Other people might never see, but God sees. And we're more interested in him being pleased than in us being rewarded by people's recognition. So know this. Faith is a movement to walk with God is a movement to be as one in Him. We're moving. We're not stationary. We're not. We're not just staying in the same place we were last year, not in the same place we were last month, that we should be advancing. I love something that Smith Wigglesworth said. He was an English preacher whose ministry was on the forefront in the first half of the 1900s. And one of the things that he. He was so aware of, he said, I'm not so concerned about the office I'm called to. I'm concerned about bearing fruit. Because so many people get caught up in titles. But it's not about titles so much. It's just about function. You know, some will say, well, I'm a prophet. And people need to recognize that. No, if you're a prophet, produce the fruit of a prophet. If you're a pastor, produce the fruit of a pastor, whether who acknowledges it or who doesn't. And know this, I'll only do something that other people can see. That's, that's misplaced affection. We have to get rid of ambition. We have to make sure that we're not thinking in a way that is hindering God from being seen. And we need to. We need to put our hand to something. Amen. And we need to be producing every day. But Smith Wigglesworth made this statement. He said, if I have less of God flowing through me today than yesterday. He said, I'm in a backslidden condition. Now see, we think that a backslider is someone who has turned their back on God, walked away from the plan of God, and that would certainly be that. But he said, in my own personal life, to have less than God today than I had yesterday, I am in a backslidden condition. What's this mean? Every day he was to move into more. Every day he was to go further in God. He was to advance more in God. So what's this mean? Let's not be. Let's not coddle ourselves. Let's not be easy on ourself in the way of excusing why we're not advancing. We can always find an excuse for why we didn't progress. Let's not treat ourselves in that way. If I could say this, let's put a great demand on ourself. Because if we'll put a greater demand on ourself, God will meet what we expect out of our lives. And not only that, it will cause us to be fruit bearing. We won't just be satisfied. Well, I go to church. Well, that's good. That's a starting place. But that's not the fulfillment of what you're born for. And then you say, well, I serve in my local church. Yes, but are you bringing your faith to it? Are you just doing it out of duty or are you doing it because it's such an honor? Are you seeing it as something that is just another task in your week? I want you to know the local church services. Being part of our local church, the services that we get to attend, that's the highlight of our week. Nothing else that we get to do during the week equals that. Why is that? God's people coming together to sit under the word of God, to know him better, to learn how to move with him. What a great high honor that is. Do you know that there are people in parts of this world that don't have that privilege. They're kept from coming together. They don't have the freedom and the liberty to come together as we do in this nation. We need to honor that. We get to do that and not treat it like it's just another task of our week. You say, well, I'm just so busy. Well, I'd say this. Get rid of something that's not important then. Because if we're too busy for God, we're too busy with the wrong thing. And just because something is good doesn't mean it's God. Just because it is something that we enjoy and doesn't mean it's furthering us in the plan of God. We need to. We need to have a very watchful eye over our life. Not to accuse ourselves with, but to not be okay with the ordinary. Not to be okay with just a mediocre, nominal Christian life. We should be pressing, we should be moving forward in God. And because what is this in him we move. And if we're moving with Him, He. He will not leave you in a common life. He will not leave you in an uneventful life. The movement of God will not leave you unfruitful. It will carry you into promotion. It will carry us into. Into achievement. It will carry us into productivity. And so know this. We are to gain our movement from him. And he will empower the movement that he directs. Know this. He only empowers what he directs. He'll help us and bless us as far as we can. But the greatest flow of God's ability is going to flow when we are moving at his direction. So many times people have gotten disappointed with the life they chose, with the life they authored, with the life they thought up. But we see this about Paul. His first question once he had an encounter with Jesus, what would you have me do? Not how well known am I going to be? How great of an anointing can I have? How many miracles can be worked? He didn't try to gain his self worth from success by human terms. His first question what would you have me to do? And I want you to know when we say, father, I want to know how to move with you every single day. What is your plan for my life? How are you directing me? What is this? I want God pleased. Why? Because that's where blessings flow unhindered. Know this. God is not hard to please. He tells us he's very clear about what pleases Him. Faith. Without faith, it's impossible to please God. He's easy to please. And know this. Faith moves with God. If we're not moving with God, we're not in faith. And so we want to please him with our life of faith, with our actions of faith. Because in him we live and in him we find our movement. When our movement's directed by him, we're not living a wasted life. We're not wasting time, we're not wasting days. But we are. We are taking his movement into every single day of our life. And every day is producing for his glory. Know this, that whatsoever you do, in word or deed, do all to the glory of God. Do you know, mamas, when you're raising your babies, that's one way that you're glorifying God. Do you know that? When that which God has entrusted to you, your home, your just your profession, or just taking. What about this? Taking care of a home, treating it honorably, keeping it in a way that glorifies God, you know you're adding to his glory. Absolutely. It's not just glorifying him when everyone's applauding it, when everyone is seeing it. Just doing the right thing, the honorable thing, the excellent thing. Every day we're contributing to his glory in our life. And so know this. We are to glorify him in word. Look at this. And deed. So if we're moving with him, that elevates every single word that we're to speak. It elevates every single deed that we're to fulfill and carry out. So know this. In him we live. In him we move. And this is so important because this is my. This is the movement that makes life worth living. And so many people, they get to the end of their life and they're disappointed at when they look back over their life. But if we'll move with him, there's nothing but fulfillment inwardly. Amen. Well, we're so, so thrilled we're getting to spend this time with you and especially teaching on who we are in Christ and what that looks like like. And we're going to keep going this direction so you don't want to miss next time. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

I want you to know that every single person in this world needs a Savior. And the greatest thing of all is that we have one. But this Savior must be welcomed. This Savior must be received. And it's so easy to receive Jesus as the Savior. The Word says that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. So right now, do that with me. Say Jesus. Jesus, I receive you as my Savior. Come into my heart and be the Lord of my life and I'll live for you all the days of my life. God bless you.

Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
This episode of "Jesus the Healer" with Nancy Dufresne continues the teaching series "In Christ I Can," focusing on the believer's identity, authority, and fullness in Christ.
