There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the Healer. Thank you for taking the time. And we value this time with you. We value this time in the Word because really it's about the message. It's about that word of faith which we preach. And know this, that Paul referred to the word of faith. He wasn't just referring to a topic of doctrine. He called this new covenant the word of faith. And so you cannot feed on the Word of God and faith not be an inflowing result of that. That faith comes with the hearing of the Word. And so, thank God, it is the word of faith. And that's the mess of the new covenant, that of what belongs to us in Christ and what we can do because we're in Christ and because he is in us. So we have been in the midst of this series called In Christ I Can. And so we're just grateful that we've had the opportunity to share and minister along these lines. And so we invite you, if you've missed different episodes in this series, go back and watch them because there's so much that the Spirit of God is helping to author in our spirits. And when we find out really in the Word what it means to be in Christ, then we really see the true us. The best version of us is the version that's in Christ. And so we don't want to be living dominated by the old man that has been crucified and buried with Christ. But we were raised a new man. We are new creatures in Christ. And so this is what we want to be emphasizing and majoring on in this born again lifestyle that we're living, that who we are in Christ, it's so much higher than who we were before we were born again. And so thank God we have been made one with him. And we are joint heirs with Jesus Christ. Everything that belongs to him belongs to us. Not because we did everything right, but because he did everything right and he credited us with that rightness. And so now we're made righteous and we have access to the Father and we are to fully enjoy that place of sonship, that we are the sons of God, he is our Father, and we are to have a free exchange of enjoying what belongs to us as a son. And I want you to know sometimes in this life, I was thinking about it just this morning as I was getting ready, is that sometimes people will think, well, I'm going to believe God for this or that. And so many times if they want, they want, even financially, they want to be able to do something financially for somebody else or toward a project. And then they will, if I could say this, limit what they should be doing financially toward themselves. Saying it this way, if we're not careful, we only think God can do one thing at a time. God can fund what's in our heart plus fund us. We won't have to choose. We won't have to choose. Can I be a blessing or can I receive a blessing? Both. God intends that every single aspect of our life reflect the oneness of our Father. And the thing is, is that he has brought us into a flow of abundance. We don't have to choose to can we be a blessing or can we just receive a blessing every day? We should be a blessing and receive a blessing. And we don't have to choose between how we, how generous are we generous in one direction and withhold from another direction to be generous? No. God can do more than one thing at a time. He can fund you being a blessing to someone else, to your local church, you being generous. But he can also get you that home, get you that business, get you everything that is the desire of your heart. You don't have to lay down something that's important to you by thinking that you're making it easy for God. Everything's easy for God. Don't cheat one arena of your life just because you need him to move in a different arena. God can supply every single arena of your life with full abundance. What's that mean? If God tells you to start a business, that doesn't mean you can't have the home of your dream too. You can't just do one of those at a time. Because in the kingdom, we are living in a kingdom of all sufficiency. And so know this, that God has complete sufficiency for your life. And don't don't, don't dumb down your redemption. Your redemption is total. It is complete. It is all encompassing. And we have to not think that we have to hold to certain limits in our life. I know this. I was. I had bought. God had given me the ability to buy Amy Semple McPherson's vacation home. Now, she was an evangelist in the early part of the 1900s. And I was just completely blessed. I had no idea originally that God had that home in mind for me. And when he made it known, he enabled me to buy that home. And so I was moving into that home even before it was renovated because I wanted to live in it a while to find out how do I best want to renovate it for to fulfill how I want to use the home. And so I had moved out of a former home, which was lovely. I enjoyed that home completely. So I was thinking, well, these homes are only 15 minutes apart. And so I thought, well, if I'm going to be moving into this one that Sister Amy had built, then I'll just sell my previous one. And God began dealing with me. And he said, you have to get past the mindset that you have to sell something to buy something, that you have to lay down one thing, to pick up another thing. He said, because I'm the provider of it all. And he said, I can fund more than one thing at a time. And I saw then that even though These homes are 15 minutes apart, I still have them both. And God has allowed. He has. He has fully supplied it to where I can use the homes to bless other ministers. And the thing is, I'm not even living right now in the state where those homes are. I'm in a different home. Because God has. He is demonstrating that he thinks large. He thinks without limits, he moves without limits. And that's one of the things that belong to us in Christ is a mindset of no limits. A mindset of not dumbing down and holding back. I'm not talking about being wasteful, but I am saying this. God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. And rewards can show up in a very tangible way. Rewards can show up as him giving you things of your desire. And so know this. I. This is. I'm going a little bit different direction than what I planned. But we'll just follow this because I believe it's going to help somebody that's watching. But I. I remember that before my husband went home to be with the Lord, my. Well, we were. We were living in one home. And God Spoke to both of us and he said, I have another home for you. And so it was eight years before we found that home that God had been speaking of. We moved into that home. And after eight years later, after God originally began dealing with us about it, we found that home, we moved into it. And really the both of us thought that it could be the home we would be in the rest of our lives. It was just a place where our joy was full. And, you know, that's what God wants for you. What do you want? What. What makes your joyful? He wants your joy to be full. So don't just lean on him to define everything. He'll let you define some things. What do you enjoy? And he wants you to have your joys met. You know, as parents, we. We handle our children the same way. We want to give them at Christmas time, gifts that they enjoy, at birthday times, gift that, gifts that they enjoy. Not just what we like, but what do they like. God's the same way. He doesn't just want you to have something he's authored for your life, but he also wants to have the joys of your own heart fully supplied. That he will give you the Word tells us he will give us the desires of, look at this, our heart. He wants us to have pure satisfaction in every arena of life. So know this. What makes your joy full? And I could say this. That's why we don't judge people and say they shouldn't have that. Because if that's where their joy is full, why shouldn't they have that? Because God will help them to have their joy full. And he will help them lay hold of something that it might not really affect your joy, but it affects their joy. And so we have to realize we shouldn't decide what someone should or shouldn't have, because God will meet the desires of our heart. And so here God had spoken to my husband and I about another home. We found that home. Eight years later, we moved into it. I anticipated that we would be there for the rest of our lives because our joy was full there. But then one day, there was a stirring. And I didn't understand the stirring, but on the inside of me, I. I started recognizing why am I thinking a certain way now? I'll just tell you the details of how that happened. My son and his wife were looking for a home. And so we, my husband and I was. We were going with them to look at open houses and going around certain neighborhoods and the regions, you know, that they were interested in looking for a home. And we would walk through these lovely model homes. You know how they make those so nice? They put the, what, the best decor and all this. And it's so. It's finished out. Every room is completely finished. And you go, I want. I want to walk into something finished, you know, that is so enticing. But I remember as my husband and I would walk through the home, the different homes, because we look at. My goodness, we looked at so, so many of those homes, and we just enjoyed it. It was a nice little pastime for us to do on a Saturday afternoon. And so in going through these homes, I kept walking through and going, I could live here. And then I go through. I could live here. I could enjoy this, I could enjoy that. And then I started. It started dawning on me, why does it seem like I'm desiring something different than what we have right now? So I noticed that that was coming from in here of, I think I want something different than what I currently have. But that surprised me completely. So I took that to God. I said, God. Now, see, the thing is, I didn't hear a booming voice. I didn't hear any. Anything dramatic. I just started noticing a stirring. So I started talking to him about that. That's part of learning to follow the spirit. Talk to him about things you're sensing. And so I went to God and I said, I'm walking through homes that are. They're lovely homes, but they're not near the home I have. So far as scale, so far as cost. The home I have is. It's. It's abundant. It's on five acres, and it's. It's a. It's a. It's a lovely, lovely home. And I said, but why am I thinking that something that isn't in this category, that I could be happy there? God is not, if I could say this, trying to dumb down our lifestyle. Listen, God isn't the one who sets our standard of living. We are. He will fund whatever standard you have faith for. And so God wasn't trying to get me in something less, but he was using these homes to get my attention about something. Because God knows how to lead us without alarming us. Now, listen to that key. God knows how to lead us without alarming us. If he would have just said to me, you need to sell this home, I would have been a bit startled at that leading and wondered why. And it could have been something that would have. If I handled it wrong, it could have unsettled me. It really could have, like I said, alarmed me a little bit. But he didn't say it and didn't lead me in an abrupt, aggressive way. There was just a stirring, just a little bit of stirring. And then I'm the one who started talking to him about it. So know this. If you sense a stirring, what's he wanting you to ask him about? Know this, that God is waiting for us to bring up some things so he can help us. We think that God will bring up everything. Well, one way of him bringing it up is we sense a stirring in our spirit and he's wanting us to talk about it. Sometimes he'll say one thing to us because he's wanting us to invite conversation with him about that. For example, you say, what scripture would be in line with that? Well, you remember when Samuel was a child, his mother took him to the temple. She had not been able to have a child. And she had said to God, if you give me. If you give me a child, I'll dedicate him to you. So Samuel was the child born. She took him to the temple to serve there as a young boy, that he lived in the temple. And she had many other children after that because she kept her vow to God. So Samuel grew up around the temple, serving in the temple and serving Eli, who was the prophet in those days. And while Samuel went to sleep, while he was laying down to fall asleep one night, he heard his name being called. He said he heard Samuel, Samuel, what was it? God was trying to get his attention. Now, Samuel heard it and he responded, but he responded wrong. He ran into the room where Eli was asleep that night, and he said, I'm here. You called me. What do you want? And Eli said, I didn't call you. And so Samuel just goes back to his room, he lays down, and again God says, samuel, Samuel. But notice God just said his name. He didn't say what he was going to talk to him about. He didn't. He was waiting for an invitation to speak. What is it? That's the honor of God that he will stir. He will try to get our attention. Why? Because he's wanting to say something to us. But he will not force his voice into our life. He waits for us to acknowledge him. That's the level of his honor. He will not violate our will. So this happens several times. That every time Samuel lays down, he hears his name called. And again he keeps going into Eli's room because it is so audible to him that he knows that Eli is the only other one in the. In the temple that could have been calling his name after. I believe it's about the third time. Eli perceived that the Lord was calling his. His name. So he told him how to respond. He said, go, lay down again. And if you hear him call again, say, speak, Lord, for thy servant heareth. Well, that did happen again. Samuel laid down. God said, samuel, Samuel. And Samuel spoke, He responded, and he said, speak, Lord, for thy servant heareth. And. And then God showed him the future. Regarding Eli. Now know this. This is what I want you to see. God will say something, one thing to us. He will stir one thing within us because he's trying to prompt us to invite him to speak further. Because he will not force his leading, his plan, his will on any of us. He will move at the invitation. And so I was sensing God. This stirring on the inside, I could not articulate. Why is it that I'm sensing this? Well, God was wanting me to initiate a conversation with him, so he started it, but he expected me to pick up the cue and continue the conversation. Have you ever been maybe to dinner with somebody or you're at someone's house? Let's just say you're at dinner and there's several people at the dinner table, and there's one person in particular that is that you're interested in talking to. And let's say you try to start a conversation with them, but they don't feed into that. You know, well, this isn't the time or this isn't the setting. And so, you know, even though you're. You're wanting a conversation, it's not playing out as appropriate at that time. So in etiquette, you stop, you don't try to force it, Right? Just know this. If we don't continue a conversation, God won't force it. He won't continue it. So sometimes we hear one thing and then act on it and move out. When God said one thing to us, because he had a whole string of things he wanted to say to us, but we just ran off with the one thing that he said and tried to act on that without hearing the entire instruction. Does that make sense to you? So don't just hear one thing from God and think you've gotten the total picture of what he's trying to say. If you hear something from God, ask him about it. Is there anything more you want to say to me? Now, let me give you an example. Years ago, I was leading a prayer service at our church. I had been. I taught maybe 15 or 20 minutes to our congregation on the subject of prayer. And then we were going to spend the rest of the service praying. And so I had stepped away from the pulpit after I ended teaching, when we were going to pray, I went to sit on a chair on the platform. I was just going to sit there and pray. So I sat down in the chair. And while I was sitting there, I had the understanding, the revelation. I knew by word of knowledge, not because I saw it, but Jesus walking up this one particular aisle toward me. I could tell you, my eyes just followed. I knew where he was at. And so he came and stood right to my side. And he just stood there. And I'm waiting for him to say something. I perceive that he's there. I perceived when he walked into the. Into the building in that way. And I was waiting for him to say something. And for a couple of minutes he just stood there. And I was sitting there waiting for him to initiate something. And it dawned on me, wait a minute. I'm perceiving that he's here because he wants me to invite him to speak. So I said, jesus, I recognize you're here. What is it that you came to say? And then he told me something about the future. And so it gave me direction concerning something I would need later down the road. But what I wanted you to see. Until I acknowledged him, he didn't continue with what he came to deliver. He can show up to deliver something, but if we don't acknowledge him, he will not deliver it. Because his honor is so great, he will not speak uninvited many times. And so know that if you sense a stirring on the inside of you, you sense a dealing of God, respond to what is that? God is our Father. We are his children. And know this. God likes talking to his children. Isn't that true? A father, a father who loves his children rightly, he enjoys interaction with his children. He wants to talk, he wants to listen. I want you to know God wants to talk to you. He wants to listen to you. He enjoys the. That flow of fellowship. So that's one of the things that belongs to you in Christ, is fellowship time with your father. Not just to sit and hear the plan, what do you want me to do with my life? Yes, that's included. But don't just limit your fellowship to receiving direction and orders from him. Sometimes it's just finding out what's important to him, what's on his heart, what does he want to. What does he want to talk about? What does he. What does he have for you that would bless your life? That would come just through the way of Fellowship, you know, not everything with God has to be a command to do something. Sometimes it's just a time to be together. As a parent, if the only interaction you ever had with your children is, go do this, go do that, go do this, go do that, something is going to be amiss in that fellowship. And the child doesn't really enjoy, and the parent doesn't really enjoy the lack of personal exchange. Don't leave out the personal exchange with your father. And just know this. You draw nigh to him, he'll draw nigh to you. That is not just in knowing the plan of God for your life. It includes that. But what about just having a personal exchange with your father? And so, anyway, so I sensed this stirring in my spirit. What is this? Why is it that there's something in me that is saying I'm not so connected to this current home that I wouldn't be willing to possibly be led to a different home? What is this about? And so when I asked God, I didn't hear a voice, but I sensed, sell the home. He did not start off with that statement. And I'm so glad, because that would have baffled me, that would have made me question what I was hearing. But it started off with a stirring, and then came clarity. So in this life in Christ, it's not just sitting and hearing commands. It's recognizing the movings of God within your own spirit, the dealings of God with your own spirit. Take time to find that out. Take time to locate what is he trying to communicate to me. And then he said, I want you to sell this home. And I said to my husband, I said, this is what I seem to be getting in my spirit. Does that bear witness with you? He said, it does bear witness. So we agreed to sell the home. We went to a different home. It was a downsize, but not a downscale. Can I say it that way? In fact, the next home was really carried greater value than the previous larger home. And I still have that home. But God said to me the day my husband went home to be with the Lord, because I couldn't understand, why is he telling us to sell this home, that it taken us eight years to find it and get into it. Why? And the day Ed went home to be with the Lord, God said, now you know why I couldn't tell you why. He said, because I did not want you left with the responsibility of that larger home that you would not even. You would not enjoy having that responsibility all yourself. And he said, so he said, I foresaw he's not the one that caused the event of my husband's homegoing, but he guided my life in the face of that. And so when he said to me, you know, I have another home for you, and it was about Amy Silverson's home, he said, this home is a reward for you following me. You obeyed me and he restored that home, that larger home that we moved out of. Now I not only had the current home, but now he gave me Amy Sylvie McPherson's home. What am I saying is God will reward you with more than you thought you would ever have, so don't tell him no to one thing. Could you say, oh, I've already got that? Because I could have said no to that home. I was living in a lovely home, but now I have both of them. And it's not just so I can accumulate. Now I'm able to be a blessing to other ministers and to many others because God has so abundantly blessed me in Christ. Abundance belongs to you. Don't dismiss yourself from abundance. Don't dismiss yourself from something he's already included you in on. Amen. Well, you don't want to miss next time. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the Healer. God bless you.

Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
Theme: Understanding God’s Abundance, Hearing the Holy Spirit, and Living in the Fullness of Sonship in Christ.
In this insightful episode, Nancy Dufresne unpacks the realities of what it means to live "in Christ," emphasizing the believer’s access to God's abundance, the importance of not limiting God’s provision, and how to recognize and follow the Holy Spirit’s leadings. Through personal stories about homes God provided for her, teachings on spiritual sensitivity, and scriptural examples, she encourages listeners to expect and receive everything Christ made available—not just enough, but an overflow for both blessing others and experiencing fullness personally.
“God will say something, one thing, to us. He will stir one thing within us because He’s trying to prompt us to invite Him to speak further. Because He will not force His leading, His plan, His will on any of us. He will move at the invitation.” (13:44)
“Until I acknowledged Him, He didn’t continue with what He came to deliver...He can show up to deliver something, but if we don’t acknowledge Him, He will not deliver it. Because His honor is so great, He will not speak uninvited many times.” (15:17–16:16)
A Test of Faith and Obedience:
“He said, ‘I foresaw...I guided your life...this home is a reward for you following Me. You obeyed Me and He restored that home…’ What am I saying is God will reward you with more than you thought you would ever have.” (23:08–25:26)
Receiving Without Limiting:
Nancy Dufresne’s tone is nurturing, faith-filled, and gently challenging. She weaves personal stories with biblical teaching, encouraging listeners to enlarge their faith and expectation, trust God’s intimate leadership, and fully embrace the abundance and sonship available in Christ.
“Abundance belongs to you. Don’t dismiss yourself from abundance. Don’t dismiss yourself from something He’s already included you in on.” (26:49)
This episode calls every believer to shed limitation-thinking, welcome ongoing conversation with God, follow the Spirit’s subtle promptings, and expect both provision and personal joy as part of their inheritance in Christ.
