There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the healer. And we are in the midst of our series called In Christ. I Can. And so much belongs to us in Christ. And God wants the desires of our heart to be met. And I want you to know, when God starts thinking in terms of blessing of our lives, there's no limits. So don't you limit God. Because that's one of the things about God, is that there's no. There's no ending to what he can fulfill, what he can accomplish. And we know this, that one of the things that God, if I could say this, lamented or corrected the Hebrews about is he said, you limited the Holy One of Israel. Notice, the Holy One of Israel was not limited. They limited what they would permit him or what they would receive from him, what they would allow in their life. So there's no limits on God. So take limits off your thinking, take limits out of your words, take limits out of your actions. Because when there's no limits, what's that mean? You can just keep going and going. There's always more. And the thing about someone who struggles with receiving blessings from God, it's because of the limits. So break off the limits and you can go further. How do you break off the limits? Renew your mind with the word of God. We were God. God has really, if I could say this, in the previous episode, he took us a little bit direct, different direction than I intended. But that's okay because he's catering this to the viewers. He's catering it to you, who's watching. And in helping me to take off the limits, one of the things that God said to me years ago was he said, you had to quit thinking that you have to sell something to buy something. That he said, I can fund more than one thing at A time. And so just because in our business approach, we may just take our resources and funnel them one particular direction and think that that's the way God operates. God didn't have to operate that way. Why there's no limits on him. So why is it that we will function that way is because we're thinking with limits. We're thinking based on how we have functioned in the past or how we've seen others function. God said to me, he said, the greatest enemy to anyone's prosperity is their past. Not the devil, but their past. Because they will only think they can have what they have been shown in the past. But let the Word show you. Let the word redefine what we can, what we can have or receive from God. Because I want you. Look at, look at Colossians, chapter 2, verse 9. This is the living Bible translation. This has been our golden text. For in Christ there is all of God in a human body. Look at this. So you have everything. When you have Christ, look at this, you have everything. Everything is available to you. What's that mean? Everything to have everything available to you. There can't be limits on it. There can't be restriction on it. You have everything. So don't put limits on what you can have. Don't put limits on what God takes the limits off of. And so how are we going to live with, without limits to where we begin to live as rich as we are? We have to renew our minds to think larger. And I was sharing. If you didn't watch the previous episode, go back and watch it. We number these episodes so that you can know the order of them. So whatever number episode this is, go back and watch the previous one. Because it's an introduction and kind of the stating of how God has taught me some of these things. And one of the things that when my husband went home to be with the Lord prior to that, God had told us to sell the previous home that, that he and I lived in. And I was, I was completely baffled. I could not understand why he would direct us to sell the home. And he did not explain it. And can I tell you this faith, real faith, genuine faith, moves with God when it doesn't understand. Now a mental faith will only move with God as far as it understands. If they don't understand it, they won't go with him. Well, genuine faith doesn't have to understand before it obeys. And in that situation, God began dealing with me about selling the home that bore witness with my husband. And you say, well, your husband's the head of the family. Why? Why did God deal with you about it? Because my husband had delegated the home to me. He said, nancy, he said, I believe God wants us to have this home. At the time we were going to purchase it. He said, but I have my faith on so many other projects. He said, I can't stretch my faith too thin by putting it on too many different things. He said, so I'm going to leave this home up to your faith. So that's why God talked to me about the home, because my husband directed that project to my faith. And know this. That's as in a marriage. We should share faith projects together. Amen. But I still never did anything against my. My husband's agreement. I didn't act apart from him because I recognize he's still the head of the family, although he's delegated this project to me. So. So I had it in my heart that we were to sell the previous home, that we were that home that we were in. My husband agreed. He said, that bears witness with my spirit. So we sold it, although I didn't understand why we were doing that. And the day my husband went home to be with the Lord, God said, now you know why I couldn't tell you the reason why I was directing you to sell it. Why is that? He didn't want to alarm me. He was leading me without alarming me. And that is the great skill of God. Only he can bring us further and not trouble us by what we're going to pass through or what we're going to encounter. And so anyway, so the day my husband went home to be with the Lord, he said, I foresaw this event. Now listen, he didn't author that event, my husband's premature home going, but he foresaw it. And so he said, I did not want you left with the responsibility of that previous home. That, that previous home was very large. We bought it. It was large. And then my husband doubled it by building onto it even more. And so it was on five acres. It was thousands of square feet. And God said, I didn't want you responsible for that. Isn't that so thoughtful of God? And notice he didn't say your faith couldn't handle it. No, I didn't. I would not have even wanted something for my faith that. Like that, just for my faith alone. And so he directed us to a different home. And do you know that even though we downsized, we didn't downgrade. The home that he led us to was even of greater value than the previous home, that was much larger and on 5 acres. So know this, A downsize does not mean a downgrade grade. And so God said to me at my husband's home, go. Now you know why. I couldn't tell you why to sell the home. But he said, that previous home was to be the home of that you could have been in longer. But he said, because you obeyed me, he said, I'm going to reward you. And later, he led me to that reward. And that was the. I was able to purchase the vacation home of Amy Simple McPherson. Now, when God started talking to me about purchasing that home, he said to me, he kept. He kept. If I could say this, he kept. I kept sensing the importance of me purchasing that home. I didn't know why. Why is it important? Why do you want it for me, the home I'm in, my joy is full. I enjoy this. I'm not opposed to having this other one. But I just didn't know the why of it. And God said to me, he said. He said a couple of things. He said, number one, when I. When I led you to sell the previous home, you obeyed me. He said what that home was to be to you. He said, sister Amy's home will be to you. So he did not want me to think that I was going to have less than what he desired for me. So he said then. And I said to him, I said, it seems to me that it's important to you for me to have Sister Amy's home. Why is it important to you? And then he took me over to Hebrews, chapter 11, verse 6. He said, without faith, it's impossible to please God. But those who come to God must believe that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. Now notice this. God said, I don't just give rewards. I am a rewarder. Now, notice that I had never thought of that in those terms. He said, if you don't receive this home of Amy Syl McPherson, he said, you rob me of being the rewarder I want to be to you. And he said, I am stolen from if you don't receive the reward. Because he said, that is a flow of me. I am a rewarder. It's not just that he gives rewards, but he is himself a rewarder. And he said, this is a reward, number one, for you obeying me and selling the other home. He said, not only that, it's a reward for how you handled your husband's homegoing. He said, you could have handled it in such a way that could have created the downfall of the ministry. It could have hindered your family from moving forward in my plan. It could have affected the congregation and then been robbed of a pastor. If you would have handled it wrongly, you could have quit. But he said, but you didn't quit. He said, not only that, you stayed in faith. You carried the momentum of faith. And he said, I reward faith. I'm a rewarder of those who please me in their faith. So know this. And why am I saying that? I'm not trying to point to me. I'm just trying to say it's important that we follow him. Because he's not just trying to give us commands, he's also rewarding us. He's not just giving us something to do, he's giving us something to have that in Christ. It's not all, do this, do this, do this, but it's also have this, enjoy this, be delighted in this. Because in a home and in a family, it's not just. It's not a sound, balanced home. When all the fellowship that the children have with their parent is, go do this, go do that, go clean this, go fix that, go get that. No, There should be an exchange of enjoyment in fellowship in Christ. What belongs to you is not just the commands of God, but the fellowship of God himself. And so we don't want it if we're not careful. We get into the mindset of the elder son. Remember in the. In the parable with the prodigal son. The prodigal son, he just wanted to spend his life in pleasure and recreation. But when he. He caught his. He caught his way of lifestyle. He caught himself to go back. What am I. What am I doing? What am I thinking? And he came to himself and said, I'm going to go back and repent to my father. And he did that. And what happened? The Father restored to him a rightness with him. He celebrated his return. Then he went to the elder brother and he said, why won't you come in and celebrate with us? And the elder brother, all he did was point to where his brother missed it. He did not receive that. He had. He wasn't. He wasn't joyful that his brother was made right. He was just reminding the Father, condemning him. He did this, he did that. He went this way. And he said, I didn't do any of those things, but you never threw a party for me. And what did the father say to the elder son? He said, you've always been with me, and all that I have is yours. In other Words you did not need to have me to come and put the robe on you, put the ring on you, throw a party for you. He said, you could have walked into my room and gotten the ring, gotten the robe, and thrown a party anytime you wanted. Because everything of mine is yours. And if you didn't enjoy it, it's because you didn't partake of it, not because I withheld it from you. How many people think that they have to wait for God to give them something when God's already made everything yours? You can partake. As you will now know this, the difficulty with the prodigal son is that he had dishonored his father. He had wasted his inheritance. He had lived in a way that was not honoring to how he was raised. He went a completely different way. So when he came back to the Father, he was aware that of how he had missed it. And because he was aware of how he had missed it, he did not have the boldness to put on the ring, put on the robe, he had to have his father put it on him. Because he had compromised his faith, he had compromised his fellowship with his Father. So he waited for God to put it on him. Listen, when we're obeying God and we're walking out his plan, we don't have to wait for God to initiate a blessing. We, we have access to everything in the Father's house. We can take a blessing. Does that make sense to you? The elder son didn't need the robe put on him. The elder son didn't need the ring put on him. He could have any time he wanted, partaken of it in Christ, partake of everything that belongs to you without God even having to initiate blessing. You are living under the blessing. Don't hold back the blessing or partaking by saying, well, I'm waiting on God to give it. That's God gave it to the prodigal son. Excuse me. The Father gave it to the prodigal son because he had broken fellowship with the Father. He needed help to become a partaker. But the elder son didn't break fellowship yet. He wouldn't partake because he was waiting for the Father to put it on him. I want you to know you're in right fellowship with the Father. When you are right with God, when you are cleansed by the blood of Jesus, you don't have to wait for God to initiate something. You can say, father, this is the desire of my heart. And you blessed me with everything that heaven itself enjoys. I'm just going to receive the Blessing. But what do we do? We limit the Holy One of Israel by saying, God can only do this for me. God can only do that for me. He can only do one thing at a time, and we limit him. Notice what the Father. When the Prodigal Son came back, he didn't just say, okay, you can have one thing. Pick it. No, he gave him the ring, he gave him the rope, he gave him the party. And not only that, he gave him. He. He restored the. The wayward Son back in the public eye. The Father saying, I'm throwing a public party. I'm not ashamed of you. I am not embarrassed to be called your Father. I want you to know God's not embarrassed by how you've missed it, because he delights to put you back in right fellowship with Him. Whenever we repent, whenever we make needed changes, we can receive the blessing of the Father's. If I could say oneness, our oneness with the Father. He will not. He's not ashamed of us. Amen. Why is that? Because. Because we are to take our identity from Him. We are to find ourselves in oneness with Him. And the blood of Jesus cleanses us from anything that would have, if I could say this in our own thinking, been a shame to our Father. But we are made right by the blood of Jesus. So know this, that there were rewards that belonged to the Elder Son, but he wouldn't receive them. He was waiting for the Father to put those rewards on him when he had total access to everything of the Father's household. In Christ, you have full access to everything of the Father's blessings, everything of his goodness. Don't just take limitedly. Don't just. Don't pull back the hand of faith. Don't ask small when you can receive large, when you can receive abundance. And so again, going back to what God said to me In Hebrews, chapter 11, verse 6, he said, I am a rewarder of those who diligently seek me. So if you don't receive the reward, he said, you don't just rob you, you rob me. Because I cannot be to you what I want to be if you don't receive this home I have for you. Well, when I saw it this way, that. That home just was not about me. It was also about my Father. And I want you to know, when we don't receive, the more that God offers us, it doesn't just affect us, it affects Him. It is robbing from him. As a parent, we enjoy that our children enjoy what we give them. I mean, how Many times have you opened a gift and you go, ooh, like, thank you, but it's not what you would have chosen, right? Okay, let me give you a little bit of a family's history here. My mother was so funny. My mother, she enjoyed nice stuff. And her and I, we. You know, I would try to learn, what does she like? And my mother was so gracious, she was so kind. She would never say, oh, I don't like this, or, no, you got me the wrong thing. No, I don't want this. She would never verbalize that. But my mother had a way. When she would open a gift, if she's opening something and she doesn't really care for it, she'd go, oh, her head would jerk. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. And I'd go, fail. That's a fail. That's what that is. Because I did not want her to open something she didn't enjoy. So if she didn't enjoy it, I'd go try again. I'd go get something else. And I'm trying to find out what will keep her head from jerking. What will. What will she enjoy? And the family knew if her head jerks and she goes, yes, yeah, yeah, you failed in that gift. I want you to know that God does not want you to have something in your life that's less than what you would enjoy. Amen. He's. God thinks of you, and he will reward you with that which you enjoy. And it's not unholy, and it's not carnal, and it's not greed to have things you enjoy. The Word tells us that he has given us richly all things to enjoy. God is big on enjoyment as long as you don't put things in the place of him because he is to be your greatest enjoyment. And when you enjoy him that he has that rightful place of the. The. The lead seat in your life, then everything else can be enjoyed as it ought to be enjoyed. To enjoy and things without enjoying him is to miss the mark. But to enjoy him first and foremost turns every other thing that he would ever do for you into complete enjoyment. So I, as a parent, don't want to give my. My children something they don't enjoy. I want to find out what do they like. Do you know that God, he wants to know what is it that you like? And it's not wrong to verbalize. Father, I would like this. I. I would like that. Not because he's not all knowing and doesn't know, but he's not invited to do it for you until you Invite him into your life until you invite him into that joy. Why is it that if we don't bring it up, if we don't ever talk to him about it, we limit the Holy One of Israel? We can limit how he can reward us. I was. If I would have not agreed to move with him by faith into the purchase of Sister Amy's home, that he would not have been able to reward me the way he wanted to. And if we say, I shouldn't have that nice of a home, I shouldn't have that, or I shouldn't have that, we not only robbed us, we robbed him because he delights to bless his children. And you say, well, I'm trying to save God. Well, he can do. He can fund your generosity to someone else, but he can also fund you at the same time. Amen. I don't have to withhold from me to furnish being a blessing in another direction. God doesn't. God doesn't need to withhold from you so that he can bless a different direction. God is great enough to fund you being a blessing and you receiving a blessing. So don't limit God by saying, I shouldn't have it. If we will do as Hebrews 11:6 says, if we'll have faith in God, without faith, it's impossible to please Him. If we'll have faith in God, then we know this. He that cometh to God, Number one, must believe that he is. We believe that he is. But not only that, we must believe. Look at this. We must believe that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Just because you had enough faith to receive him as Father, you had enough faith to come to him. You had enough faith to receive him as your. To receive Jesus as your Savior, to receive God as your Father. You had faith. But there's. There's faith for something else in this verse. Faith that believes he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. When you seek God to, there is a reward connected to that. And that reward can be a spiritual reward. But don't just limit it to being a spiritual reward. He can limit. He can reward you spiritually and he can reward you materially. He can reward you with homes, he can reward you with a business. He can reward you with something tangible as well as rewarding you with something further spiritually. Amen. Don't be religious in the sense of thinking God's only interested in your spiritual life. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. What does it mean? To diligently seek him when we let the Word govern us, when we say, I'm going to act in line with the Word. When my husband went home to be with the Lord, God made so clear to me this revelation that Jesus bore my griefs and my sorrows. That meant since he bore them, I had no business participating in grief and sorrow. Why? Because grief and sorrow, I recognized, was not a flow of honor. If I was going to honor my husband, it was not by getting under a spirit of grief and sorrow that would ruin the life. Grief and sorrow is so destructive it took Jesus to come and bear it because you can't bear it. See, I saw in the Word that I was redeemed from that. What was it? God was being a rewarder of me, for I diligently sought him by being a doer of the Word. I refused to get under that grief and sorrow. And God rewarded me in that by staying in the flow of the Word. Amen. God does not want you harassed, troubled and losing one moment of goodness of his goodness in your life just because an event. The way I honored my husband was not grieving and sorrowing. The way I honored my husband was carrying on with the plan of God being a doer of everything that he had taught me, continuing to be the student to him as my teacher. He was my Bible school. That's the way to honor Him. It's not by getting under a floor that hell had authored. Grief and sorrow is destructive. It will ruin a person's life. It will rob them of the best future. God rewarded me for staying with the Word. When you choose to stay with the Word and be a doer of the Word, there's rewards from God because you're only doing. You're staying as being a doer of the Word because you're seeking Him. When you follow the Word, that's one way of seeking Him. Amen. And there's rewards that are layers of rewards. It won't just be one reward. He is a rewarder. And that that reward will show up in many different arenas. Amen. Well, you don't want to miss next time. And until next time, remember this. Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

I want you to know that every single person in this world needs a Savior. And the greatest thing of all is that we have one. But this Savior must be welcomed. This Savior must be received. And it's so easy to receive Jesus as the Savior. The Word says that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. So right now do that with me. Say, Jesus, I receive you as my Savior. Come into my heart and be the Lord of my life and I'll live for you all the days of my life. God bless you.

Episode: 1017 | In Christ I Can, Part 257
Date: May 26, 2026
In this heartfelt and empowering episode of “Jesus the Healer,” Nancy Dufresne continues her long-running series “In Christ I Can,” emphasizing the boundless inheritance available to believers. Nancy focuses on removing limits from our thinking so we can fully receive—and enjoy—God’s blessings, both spiritual and material. She shares deeply personal stories that illustrate faith in action, God’s desire to reward obedience, and the importance of seeing God not only as a giver of commands but as an abundant rewarder. Her message is clear and encouraging: In Christ, you lack nothing—so don’t limit God by small thinking.
On God’s unlimited blessing:
“Take limits off your thinking, take limits out of your words, take limits out of your actions. Because when there’s no limits, what’s that mean? You can just keep going and going. There’s always more.” (01:16)
On faith and obedience:
“Genuine faith doesn’t have to understand before it obeys.” (08:09)
On God as rewarder:
“If you don’t receive this home…I am stolen from if you don’t receive the reward. Because He said, that is a flow of me. I am a rewarder.” (15:39)
On limiting God:
“We limit the Holy One of Israel by saying, ‘God can only do this for me, God can only do that for me.’ He can fund your generosity and also fund you at the same time. Don’t limit God by saying, I shouldn’t have it.” (23:45)
On grief and victory:
“Grief and sorrow is so destructive it took Jesus to come and bear it because you can’t bear it. … God rewarded me for staying with the Word.” (26:00)
Parable Application:
“If you didn’t enjoy it, it’s because you didn’t partake, not because I withheld it from you.” (20:08)
Nancy Dufresne’s message is a clarion call to expand our faith, refuse limitations, and embrace the full, generous flow of God’s blessings available in Christ. Whether facing personal loss or seeking to fulfill God’s call, His desire is not just to command, but to richly reward. The episode concludes with a stirring exhortation to step beyond the boundaries of past experiences, honor God’s Word, and receive without reservation all that He longs to give.
Key Takeaway:
Don’t limit what God wants to do in your life—embrace His rewards, expect abundance, and dare to ask big.
