There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now. I receive it right now from the top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad you're with us today for Jesus the Healer. Thank you for taking the time to join us and we invite you to get your Bible, get note, get something to take notes on and follow along with us. Because anytime we're feeding on the Word, we should be expecting to hear answers for our life. Amen. And sometimes God will say something to you that doesn't come out of my mouth. It's just by being in the atmosphere of the Word, being taught that you, you can hear God speak something to you, and we want you to take note of that and not miss it. Amen. Well, we have been looking as at our, in this series, we've been looking at our golden text that's found in Colossians 2 ver. 9. And it says this. For in Christ there is all of God in a human body. So look at this verse 10. So you have everything when you have Christ. So we're taught this is the living Bible translation. And I like how it reads because it makes it so clear to us. So you have everything when you have Christ. How many of you know that's going to affect the way we ask, the way we pray, when we understand we have everything? Not only that, it's going to affect the way we receive when we understand that God authored everything for what we will face in life. He authored not every opposition, every supply, every answer, for every need we'll face in life. And he has already authored it. Everything that you're ever going to need for this life of godliness, you're going, you are fully supplied that in Christ. So when it says you have everything, when you have Christ, don't put limits on that word, everything. Don't cut off what that word everything would include. It's not just everything spiritually, but it's everything for every arena of man. Notice in Acts, chapter 17, verse 28. For in him we live and move. Look at this. And have our being. He is for our whole being, not just for our spirit. Feature we are a spirit. We have a soul which is made up of our mind, our will and our emotions. And we live in a body. So know this. Our entire being, spirit, soul and body. He. He gave us Himself for our entire being to draw on Him. So when it says here that. That we have everything, when we have Christ, it's not just talking about spiritual things, but every arena is to have the provision that comes from him, that he has fully supplied everything. Now don't limit that. Don't think that it's holy to put limits on receiving. Don't think that God doesn't want you to have the desires of your heart. The Word says that he gives us the desires of our heart. Why? To withhold it? To show us what we can't have? No, because he wants us to desire and long for more. Because when we desire something, then we will reach for it by faith. And then God can supply that desire to be met. Amen. So know this. When we have everything, because we are in Christ. And that's what this series is. In Christ I can. We can also say it this way. In Christ, I have. Because not only can we do something, we have everything available to us, then we could also call it this. In Christ, I do. Meaning that he's going to function and flow and operate through us. And we. It turns us into. And so in Christ, I can. I can have. I can enjoy everything that he has authored for my life. God was telling his people that he delivered out of Egypt. He said, you have limited the Holy One of Israel. Notice this. He was not saying that he was limited. He was saying they limited Him. So know this. If we will take the limits off of him, we'll receive him without limits. Many times we are waiting for God to do something more, and he's waiting for us to receive something more. It's not about talking him into doing something more, but it's about us saying, if he'll do that for them, he'll do it for Me. If he's provided everything for me, I'm going to receive everything that I desire. Everything that he's planned for me, everything that he wants from me. Because can I tell you this, he wants more for you than you want for yourself. You think that you dream big. You think that you ask large. I want you to know his thoughts are far above that. His thinking for your life. His plan for your life is far beyond what you could ever desire for yourself. So if I could say this. Follow his desires for your life. Let his desires enlarge your own desires. So when he says you, when you have Christ, you. You have everything. Now I want us to look at Psalm chapter 81, and we're going to look at the King James translation of Psalm chapter 81 in verse 10. Look at how it reads. God was speaking about his people that he delivered out of Egypt. He said this. I am the Lord thy God. Now, let's just stop there. I'm the Lord thy God. What's this mean when we have him on our. On our team? No limits. When he's the one we're drawing on, when he's the one that is shielding us, leading us, guiding us, providing for us, there is going to be no deficiency. So he said, I am the Lord thy God. Look at the. Look at this. Which brought the out of the land of Egypt. Notice what God has done. He brought them out. Do you know that God's brought us out? What did he bring us out of? Well, the Word tells us over In Colossians chapter 1, in verse 13, it says that God has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. Look at this. He brought us out of the wrong kingdom. He translated us, putting us into the right kingdom. So just like God delivered his people out of something, he intended to bring them into something. Well, God did that for us. He delivered us out of the kingdom of darkness and he translated us, brought us into a whole different kingdom. Now we're to think in line with that kingdom. So notice Psalm 81, verse 10 Again, I am the Lord thy God which brought thee out of the land of Egypt. Open thy mouth wide and I will feel it. What's he talking about? We are to open our mouth to what? If we say open it wide. What's that talking about? Speak large, talk large. If we talk limitedly, our mouth is not open wide. Speak largely. Then I would say this. When he says to open your mouth wide, that's not a closed mouth. That is not a mouth failing to say something. We don't just say something once. We say what God has for us continuously. That's what an open mouth does. It's speaking the right thing. He's not talking about someone who doesn't know when to be quiet. He's talking about when it comes to everything that he's made ours. Speak much about it. Speak continuously about it. Speak large about it. So notice this. He said, open thy mouth wide and I will fill it. So the filling will be to the degree of the open mouth. If we speak limitedly, he can only fill it limitedly. If we speak just periodically, he can only fill it periodically. But if we have a lifestyle of speaking large, speaking about what God's made ours in Christ, speaking without limits, then God will feel to the measure that we speak. So it's not up to God how much we receive. It's up to us. It's up to the openness of our mouth. If we're going to open our mouth wide, we also have to have thinking. That will not limit God. Because if we think small, we will not open our mouth as wide as he invites us to. Amen. So when we talk about an open mouth, it's to speak large, but it's also never to keep keep silent about what belongs to us in Christ. Speak continuously and he will feel that. Now this verse shows us something. Verse 10. I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt. Open thy mouth wide and I will fill it. Notice he's not the one that's going to open it. He's. He's not going to open your mouth. He's going to give you something to say so that you can open your mouth to what he says. But he doesn't open our mouth. It's up to us if we'll say it or not. Then look at verse 11. He said, but my people would not hearken or listen to my voice. So notice this. I want you to see. In verses 10 and 11, we see God's part. We see Man's part in everything that we receive from God. It's God's part coupled with our part. God cannot do our part and we cannot do his part. But know this. If we'll do our part, his part will always be in play. He will never withhold his part. Now let's look at God's part. God's part in verse 10. I am the Lord thy God, which brought the out of the land of Egypt. Notice they couldn't do that for themselves. You couldn't bring yourself out of the kingdom of darkness. God did that for us. What was God's part? He brought us out. Now look at the next part. That's man's part. Now that you're out, open your mouth wide. Notice we are out of the wrong kingdom. Don't open your mouth to the dark kingdom. Don't open your mouth to the kingdom. You've been delivered from to the wrong kingdom. Open your mouth to what you have been brought into. Don't open your mouth to the wrong flow. Don't open your mouth to saying the wrong thing. Say the things that belong to the kingdom that you've been translated into. Open your mouth wide to the right thing. Do not open your mouth wide to worry. Do not open your mouth wide to fear. Don't open your mouth wide to doubt. Don't open your mouth wide to unforgiveness and offense and strife. That's not part of our kingdom anymore. And many Christians are opening their mouth wide to the wrong kingdom. And their talk out of a kingdom that they've been delivered from. That that kingdom is not their kingdom anymore. So we should not be a double agent in this kingdom of ours. We should not belong to one kingdom and working for another or speaking like a different kingdom. We have been delivered out of the kingdom of darkness, translated into the kingdom of his dear son. Our mouth is to be full of what belongs to the kingdom that we've been translated into. So God's part was to bring us out of the wrong kingdom. Our part is to open our mouth wide to speak about the new kingdom that we're a part of. The next part, look at this. When we open our mouth wide now, we see God's part. He will fill it. He will fill our mouth with that. He will fill our lives with that which our mouth says. So we're to speak it so he can fill our life with it. And then in verse 11, we again see our part. But my people would not hearken or listen to my voice. What's our part? Listen to him, be led by him. Obey him. Because faith is obedience to God. Faith is not just random obedience. But how is he speaking to us? What is he saying to us? How is he leading us in our life? We're to obey that. But. And how are we going to obey Him? We first have to be someone who listens. You know, dad Hagin, Kenneth E. Hagin was our spiritual father. And in our last time that we got to be with him, he was holding a week long conference or a crusade in our church. And we were sitting in the back room with him, just having a meal together and he made a statement. He said, you know, most people don't listen. My I was not going to let that statement slip. That was a warning. That was not just a help, that was a warning. And I decided that a man who had been in the ministry around 70 years, that he would he would be speaking from a place of understanding. He would be speaking from a place of history, of having seen many lives, many believers in the way their lives, the direction their lives went. And when he said, most people don't listen, I thought, I am going to make sure I'm not in the ranks of most. I am going to be in the ranks of those who listen. And that's a choice that I'm not going to defend. The way I think I'm going to listen to what God said. I'm not going to defend my feelings. I'm not going to defend, you know, that I get my, my pride. I'm not going to defend that. I want to listen. Because when we listen, we're going to have a different outcome to those who don't listen. Now, isn't it interesting? In verse 11 of Psalm 81, he said, but my people would not listen to look at this, my voice. He was trying to lead them in what to say with their mouth. When he delivered his people out of Egypt, he told them, I have a land for you. I've given you a land. It flows with milk and honey. They were to take that large thing and put it in their mouth. But what did they put in their mouth? Complaint. What did they put in their mouth? They loathed the manna they were eating. They didn't like Moses as their leader. They were always looking for the opportunity to go back to Egypt. They, they said, oh, that we would back in Egypt. And we, you know, we would have all the food we need. We'd have all the resources we need. Yeah, but the food you're eating wasn't yours. The clothing you're wearing is not yours. And they long to go back to a place of slavery. Why? Because they didn't listen to God to put the right thing in their mouth. They were opening their mouth wide to the wrong thing in Christ. Everything belongs to us. Right words is included in that. Don't talk about the past. Don't talk about what God brought you out of. Don't keep talking and filling your mouth with how somebody mistreated you, how somebody did you wrong. I'm not making light of that. I'm saying you don't want to be living carrying that. Don't let the way somebody treated you in the past rob you from the largeness of life that God has planned for you. But they would not change what they put in their mouth. When the Hebrews were delivered out of Egypt, they just kept the wrong thing in their mouth. Why they wouldn't Listen, if we're speaking wrong, if. If the word hasn't changed the way we speak, we're not listening. So know this. I'm going to be someone who listens. That. What's that mean? I'm going to be teachable. That means that if I hear truth, I don't care where it's from, I don't care if it's through my pastor's mouth. I don't care if it's through the mouth of my spouse. I don't care if it's through a fellow congregation member. I'm going to recognize truth. And when I hear it, I'm going to be teachable. I'm not going to decide how, what channel God can use to speak to me. You know, many times people will listen to someone as long as they're famous or as long as they're on television or a public figure. That doesn't make someone more right just because their platform is larger. Learn to recognize the voice and don't be distracted by the avenue of the voice. Who is it that's speaking that? Don't be concerned about that. Just recognize is this truth that I'm hearing? Is this in line with the Word? And so because they would not take what God said and fill their mouth with it, their mouth was full of the wrong thing. Notice you, your mouth is always going to be full of something. Make sure it's what God has for you instead of what God delivered you from. Don't talk about what used to bind, what used to trouble, what used to harass. And you say, well, I'm trying to, you know, I'm trying to work it out. No, you don't work it out. You let the blood of Jesus cleanse it out. Well, I've got to talk it out. Well, I don't know what scripture you're basing that on, because here it says, you listen to God and you open your mouth wide to what he says. It doesn't say, you check with your past and see and to determine what you fill your mouth with. Always go by the word. Don't go by what somebody said to you. Because know this, the word always works. And what somebody said to you apart from the Word is not always going to work. So notice this, what you say is what you're letting into your life. So if you talk about, you say, I've got to talk out this crisis. I've got to talk out this tragedy. I've got to talk out how somebody treated me. When you're talking it out, you're letting it in. And that's why the word says, open your mouth wide to what I say. Listen to me. Don't be someone who doesn't listen to me. And then you open your mouth wide to the wrong thing. Those Hebrews that God delivered, delivered out of Egypt, they had their mouth wide open, but it was speaking the wrong thing. And it ended up costing them God's best. They never arrived. Speaking the wrong thing will cause us to never arrive at all that God has made ours. So how are we going to change what we speak? Start listening. Listen to the word. Listen to what God says in his Word. Don't just listen to people. Listen to the word and then recognize the word in the mouth of others because that will encourage you, that will instruct you. But don't just listen to people just because you know them. Listen to them because they are saying what God would have you hear. So know this. What we're listening to is going to show up in our mouth. We can recognize who or what we're listening to by paying attention to our words. This is the point that you have to guard, is what comes out of your mouth. There was a precious woman. I mean, she was a. I would say she would have been in her 70s. She was part of our congregation years ago, loved this woman. She was actually from Nigeria. And this woman had a real. She had a genuine raw faith in God. And one day she was having trouble with her body and she ended up in the hospital. And I was able to speak with her when she's in the hospital. And she said, pastor Nancy, the doctors said this, but she said, you know, it's not what they say that governs my body. It's what I say that governs my body. What was it she had learned? Don't take in the words of someone if it's not going to arrive you at what God said. Now, she wasn't there trying to change their words. She was there guarding her words. It's not about you changing what a doctor would say to you. You know, it's not. As people of faith, it's not up to us to change how somebody speaks to us. It's up to us to guard what comes out of our mouth. So we're to make sure that what we're listening to is going to bring us into the right words. Look at this. Open your mouth wide. We can't just say something once and think our mouth was wide open. We can't just say once, my God supplies all my need and then wor the rest of the day and speak fear and speak doubt the rest of the day. No. To open our mouth wide to what God says, we're going to have to keep listening to what God says so that we keep the right thoughts, the right words going into our hearing, into the hearing of our heart too. And we speak those words out. What you're listening to is going to show up in your mouth. Make sure you're not listening to two different kingdoms. Don't listen to the kingdom of darkness. And then listen to God's kingdom and try to think you're going to get results. We have to. We have to speak out of the kingdom that we've been. That we've been translated into. Amen. So know this. God has. Has a part, but we have a part. And if we're going to enjoy what God authored for us, we have to do our part and we have to do it correctly. Amen. Now, Matthew, chapter 8, in verse 17, notice this. It says this that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by Isaiah, the prophet saying himself took our infirmities and bear our sicknesses. This is a verse that you need to hold fast to, just not just at a time of sickness and disease, but to just stay in the flow of divine health. You can say, himself took my infirmities, bare my sicknesses. That. What's that mean? I don't have to bear them. He already took them. So one day I was just confessing this, meditating on this verse, and the Holy Ghost said, go back to the first phrase of this verse. Because I was focusing on the second phrase. Himself took my infirmities and bare my sicknesses. He said, go back to the first phrase. And I actually looked. What is the first phrase? Because I was so camped on the second one and I looked and it said that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by Isaiah, the prophet. Now look at this. What was Isaiah? Well, it identifies him as a prophet. So what's he saying? He's being God's mouthpiece. So when he's saying this, that wasn't just a man saying that was God saying not only that, that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by Isaiah. Not only was Isaiah a prophet, he was a man. God needed a man to say what he said so that it could be fulfilled, that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken. Know this about the ways of God. He speaks something so he can fulfill it. He doesn't act until he speaks. We see that in creation. That's the pattern. He said, light be. And then what happened? The spirit of God moved and performed the words. This is the pattern of God. He says something, then he does something. He says something, then he does something. Notice this. We want to receive something without saying something. But we have to say something so that we can receive what God does we want God to do. Then we have to say something. And you say, well, it's about God saying it. He already said it. Now he tells you to fill your mouth with what he said. So again, Matthew 8:17. That it might be fulfilled which was spoken. Know this. What's fulfilled? That which is spoken. What goes unfulfilled. That which goes unspoken. If we don't say it, God can't fulfill it no matter how much he's made it ours, no matter how much it belongs to us. So the more we say it, the more we'll see it, the more it will be fulfilled. So many times people are waiting for God to move and he's waiting for you to say it. That it might be fulfilled which was spoken. The unspoken goes unfulfilled. If there's things that you know belong to you, but they're not manifesting, speak them. We will enjoy the blessings of God to the measure that we speak them. And people say, well, you know, if it belongs to me, why doesn't it just show up? Because of the honor of God. He will not force into your life anything until your words invite Him. Do you know if you're having a conversation with somebody or there's somebody in the room? Let's say this. There's somebody of, of renown. There's somebody who holds a high, high voice in a certain field or profession. There's a proper etiquette that you don't overspeak. The higher voice in the room. Right? Well, I want you to know the higher voice, God has given you something to say. And if you will say it, if you will declare it, if you will speak what the higher voice has, has authorized you to say, then he will fulfill it. So know this. Many times we think we need more doing from God when we really need more speaking from us. Because he will fulfill that which is spoken. Amen. Well, you don't want to miss next time. And until next time, remember, remember this. Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

Jesus the Healer w/ Nancy Dufresne Audio Podcast
Episode 1018 | In Christ I Can, Part 258
Date: May 27, 2026
In this episode, "In Christ I Can, Part 258," Nancy Dufresne continues her long-running teaching series focusing on the believer's inheritance and rights in Christ, with a powerful message centered on Colossians 2:9–10 and Psalm 81. The episode emphasizes that in Christ, believers already possess everything they need for life and godliness, and the importance of aligning both their words and their faith with this truth. Nancy explores how listeners should "open their mouths wide" to speak and receive all that God has provided, rather than limiting themselves through unbelief, small thinking, or negative confession.
On God’s Desires:
"He wants more for you than you want for yourself. You think that you dream big, you think that you ask large. I want you to know, His thoughts are far above that." (08:15, Nancy)
On the Power of Words:
"Don’t just say something once. We say what God has for us continuously… The more we say it, the more we’ll see it, the more it will be fulfilled." (19:30, 26:25, Nancy)
On Letting Go of the Past:
"Don’t talk about what used to bind, what used to trouble, what used to harass… Don’t let the way somebody treated you in the past rob you from the largeness of life that God has planned for you." (23:15, Nancy)
On Listening:
"I am going to be in the ranks of those who listen… I’m not going to defend my feelings. I’m not going to defend, you know, my pride. I want to listen." (22:50, Nancy)
Notable Final Quote:
"Many times we think we need more doing from God when we really need more speaking from us. Because He will fulfill that which is spoken." (26:50, Nancy Dufresne)
