There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power.

Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the healer. And again, we want to remind you we're in our brand new studio. We, we did not redo our previous one, but we've got an additional studio. So thank you for joining us. And I have to kind of give you a heads up. We do have a studio audience, but only a couple of people because it's not as large as the other one. And so we don't have the same capacity for studio audience. So you're gonna hear them and they help me because it helps draw out and we want drawn out of what God has for us because it's for you. And we want you to receive what God has for you. And so we say this, expect to receive. Expect to hear. Expect answers for your life. Get hold of a Bible, get hold of something to take notes on. We always encourage you to follow along with us because it's only the word that you get in you that'll make the difference in your life. So we're just thrilled to spend this time with you. You know, it says over In Proverbs chapter 20, it talks about my son, attend to my words. Incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes. Keep them in the midst of heart, for they. And it says in this passage, for they are life unto those that find them. Now listen to that. His words are life unto those that find them. Do you know that's what we're doing today on this broadcast? We're finding those words. Why? Because life will be the result. Just notice this. It doesn't say that his words are life, and it stops at that. His words are life to those that are that find them. There's a condition with that. The condition is that we take the time to find what he's saying to us. So thank, thank you for joining us because you're taking the time with us to find those words and expect life to be the result of that.

So we started on previous episodes talking about this and if I were to title it, I would just call it in him. I can do it. And I'll always, at the top of these episodes, share the same story in this series because it's our jumping off place. It's our beginning place of where this came from. Brother Copeland, I was in a service with him not long ago, and he told about the time that God commanded him to give $50,000. I mean, today that's a lot. But this was back in the 1970s, so you can imagine $50,000 well over 50 years ago. And he himself was in debt at the time that God said to do that. But Brother Copeland agreed to, to what God said. He over time was able to give over and over again to Brother Hagin until that that obligation was well met. But when Brother Copeland tells the story, I so love his response to God when God commanded him to give that money, when God said, I want you to give $50,000 to Kenneth Hagin's ministry, Brother Copeland's answer was, in Christ I have it, and in Christ I can give it. That's just when he said that my, my, my, it opened a window. I go, that's it. In Christ, we can fulfill everything that the Word commands of us in Christ, we can fulfill the vision that God's given, given us in Christ. We can give what God tells us to give. We can do what God tells us to do. We can build pastors what God tells us to build. We can have the home that God is directing us toward. Everything that God has spoken and authored for our life, there's only one way he ever intended that that be fulfilled. And that's in Christ. So you say, what do you mean by in Christ? That means depending on him, relying on him, that expecting him to fulfill it through us. So if I could say it this way, we're the glove that his hand moves through. So that glove, you know, you pick up a glove and until you pick it up, it's lifeless, just laying on a counter, laying on a shelf. But when you put your hand in that glove, that glove begins to take on movement of the hand that's us. God is the hand. He's the one on the inside, the greater one that is directing, supplying, moving through us. And we just take on his movement. And we have to realize that our answer anytime God commands something of us is to say, in Christ, I can do that. In Him, I can do that. And what does that do? That reminds us we're not doing this in our own effort. We're not even obeying the Word in our own ability. We have divine help. The Holy Ghost is our helper that abides within, and he's helping us to fulfill everything that the Word commands of us. So thank God for the Word, thank God for the Holy Ghost. But we have the life of God. We have the greater one on the inside of us. So when we say, in Him, I can do it in Him, I can fulfill it in Him, I can carry out what God commands of me in him, we can do that. We need to learn to make that our first response when God says something to us. Why do I say that? Because how many times God has commanded us, spoken to us to give something, and we immediately go, well, what's my checkbook say? What does my financial account say? And we go first to the wrong place. Sometimes we need to learn to turn first to in Him, I can pay that. In Him, I can give that. In Him, I can accomplish that. So it's, if I could say this, a spiritual habit that we have to put in place to immediately turn towards our understanding of what he is, not just in us, but through us. So we have to. We have to train ourselves that in Him, God intends that we carry out this life. Listen, we didn't get born again so that we could keep living the way we were living, right when we got born again. We were drawing on the life of God, the help of God. And God never intends that to change when we're caring, carrying out a vision or something he assigns to our life. So anyway, I just want to encourage you, learn to put that in place. That was a masterful answer that Brother Copeland gave when he heard that command. Listen, that's a large command, right? And God gave that. And he knew exactly how to arrive at the yes quickly by saying, in Christ I can. Because he tells about how personally he didn't have that money. And your mind can go on tilt when God tells you, gives you an assignment that's much larger than your ability, listen, if you could do it, you wouldn't need God involved. Come on. So God is not going to give us something to carry out that we can carry out by ourselves. He never intends us to fulfill anything of his plan apart from Him. He intends that it be carried out through Him. Now think about this. It goes back to even Genesis, that when God Commanded of Adam. He said, replenish the earth. Multiply. Replenish the earth, take authority. He gave Adam the authority that was needed to, if I could say this, replicate heaven on the earth. God never intended that earth function differently than heaven. So he gave Adam the authority so that he could replicate what was on in heaven, on earth. And you say, well, how did Adam know what was in heaven? Because God would come down in the cool of the day and fellowship with him. He gave him the authority, but he never intended for him to exercise that authority apart from him. He never intended Adam to use authority with having God's involvement in directing the use of that authority. Well, it hasn't changed new creatures in Christ. God did not intend that we carry out his plan apart from Him. We live in fellowship with him so that we can hear from him and know exactly how to carry out everything he's commanded of us. We have his word. We have his spirit. We have his presence. We have his fellowship. We have the blood of Jesus. We have the authority. We have the name of Jesus. He never intended for us to carry out anything apart from Him. You know, he didn't intend for you to raise your children apart from Him. He didn't intend for you to work your job apart from him. In the morning, get up and say, in Christ. I live today in Christ. I'm employing his ability. I'm employing his divine help, his grace. He's working through me. Why? Because in Christ, we can do it. Now, this is what we have to do, is renew our minds to this so that we quit thinking we're responsible. All we're responsible for is obeying him, hearing him and obeying him. Do you hear that? Our responsibility is to hear him and obey Him. And when we do that, then he is able to work unhindered, to fulfill what he's commanded of us. Doesn't that change it for you when you realize, wait a minute. I don't have to do anything of what God's called me to, except with his power, not my power, except with his ability, not my ability. So we have to learn to draw on that, turn toward that. And when Brother Copeland answered, in Christ I have it, and in Christ I can give it, learn to answer anything. God commands of you that way that if he says something to you, you're not overwhelmed. Because he's not overwhelmed. Good. That's right. If you feel overwhelmed, it's because you think you have to do it. Now, don't you know, I've heard people, they'll pray this And I know what they mean, but it can imply something that would trip them up and they'll say, oh, God, get me out of the way. Well, he can't get you out of the way. The only way he can work is through you. He wants your involvement in the earth. He needs someone to work through. But he doesn't want us out of the way. He wants us yielding to his way, responding to his way. And so remember what is written in the Book of Acts. In him we live, in him we move. And in him we have our being. God never intended that we live anything of this life apart from Him. That we don't make any decision apart from him, we don't make any move apart from Him. That every arena of our life involves him spiritually, mentally, physically, materially. What about this financially? He never intended that we do anything apart from his guidance, apart from his leading. Why? Because then we involve the wisdom of Heaven, the genius of Heaven, and He puts us over.

So let's how about this? How about we train ourselves to learn to say and think and act in line with in Christ, I can do this. In Christ, I can. I remember I was talking. I have one of my friends here. She's on staff with us. She helped me. She helped set up Dede. Well, her name's not just Dee Dee, but that's an affection name that we call her. But she got to spend some time with our family. And before my mother went home to be with the Lord, we got to be with my mother. And she would come and help me as we cared for her in her last days here on the earth. And we would hear my mother. My mother would always say this. Now, Carolyn, you can do this. Now, Carolyn, you can do this. That whenever she had to do something that was physically difficult for her, she talked to herself and she'd say, now, Carolyn, you can do this. And she always did it. She always did it. But we have even something greater to draw on than ourselves. We can say in Christ, I can do this.

It's him working through me. Do you know that when we do that, when we turn to and say in Christ, I can do this, do you know those are Jesus words in this respect? Jesus said, my Father in me, he does the work. Jesus remembered. It's not him doing these miracles. It's not him having to deal with the blind people. It's not him having to raise the dead. It's not him cleansing the leper. He said, my Father in me, he does the works. Jesus talked about Everything he did involved his reliance upon His Father. So when you say, in Christ I can do this, you're talking the same thing Jesus talked. You're involving the Father and you're realizing, I'm not in this of my own ability, but I draw on and I yield to the greater one that's in me. God. God filled you with Himself so that you could employ Him. Not leave him out, but employ him, depend upon Him. Can I say this? I believe this is so much a central message of the life of the believer. If we don't get this right, if we don't gain revelation of this, if we don't gain understanding, we will struggle unnecessarily in this life. And there will. It's possible, and not only possible, but probable, that parts of God's plan for our lives will never get fulfilled until we get this. We have to realize God did not call us to do something that we could accomplish on our own. He called us to something that would require Him. Praise God. Yes.

The things he's called me to do. Millions and millions and millions of dollars. But he's not using my check account. My checking account. He is expecting me and offering me his heavenly supply.

He supplies all our needs according. Look at this. His riches in glory. Where are his riches? They're in the glory. In the glory. And what's that mean? We get in the glory and there's no need unmet. Amen. We get in. What's the glory? His presence in manifestation. We fellowship with him, we draw on him and what comes with Him. Complete provision. So when we draw on him, we're drawing on divine supply. When we draw on him, we're drawing on divinability. When we're drawing on him, we're drawing on grace. So it is so important that we understand this is a central message that we have to establish in us. We are in Christ, Christ is in us. And we need to spend that divine ability, spend that divine life, draw on this divine being, our Father Jesus, our Savior, and the Holy Ghost, our helper. And it's so important. If we don't get this right, we will never live as rich as we are.

So everything that God has called you to do, everything that God's called me to do, can only be accomplished one way. In him, drawing on Him. If that be true, and it is true, that means I don't want to do anything to displease Him. I don't want to live in a way that's going to displease him because that will hinder what he can do through me. So what's that mean? I'm going to live in close and tight fellowship with God. Why? Because I need Him. You need Him? Listen, we got born again because we need Him. And we couldn't get born again without Him. It took Heaven's involvement to translate us from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of his dear Son. If we couldn't get saved without him, what makes us think we can do anything else without Him? Everything calls for Him. And I tell you, little mamas, you got divine help. You might be a single mama with a house full of kids. Don't be overwhelmed. Draw on the greater one. Say in Christ, I can be the best mother he authored for me to be. And in Christ I have all the provision I need. You know, when my husband went home to be with the Lord, that meant half of the income of my house left with him. Could I say it that way? That he brought in a supply financially. I received a supply financially that I brought to the home. And when he left, I decided this was not a single income home. Just because he wasn't here. Because I have a heavenly supply that would make up for it. And can I tell you this? God has blessed me so much that it's more than what was that we ever received before in our home when the two of us were living there together. Why? Because I learned to draw on the greater one. That I'm not limited in me. And I want you to know, Mamas, you're not limited to a single income home. What if your marriage broke up and now you're down to a single income? Do not live and have the mindset that I have a single income. You have a heavenly supply. You have heavenly resources. And in Christ you can do anything that God's put in your heart. You know, when my husband left this planet, we did not. If I could say this, cut back on the vision. We did not dumb down or abbreviate the vision. Why? The vision didn't depend on Him. It depended on the God in Him. And the God that was in him is in Me. And the same God that's in us is in you. And so you can spend that divine ability. But what we have to do to fully lean and rely on the greater One in us is we have to quit fully relying on ourself. So that's a skill that we have to practice. And it begins in our thought life that we have to think in line with who's in us.

As Jesus told me one time, he said, I never have failed. So I share my success with you. He says, I've never failed. Well, we know this. God's never failed at anything he's done. You know, I've. Through what, over 40 years of ministry. Now I've heard people become displeased with God. They've accused God of things that went wrong in their life, of why did God let this happen and why did God let that happen? God never let any failure happen to us. That was people's doings, not God's. And too many times people will accuse God of what other people are guilty of. And they'll accuse that God had a part in that. Anything that's failure, God had no part in. That's right. Listen, think about it. With Adam and Eve, when God put Adam in the garden, God put him in the right place. God created the garden for him. Do you know God was so anticipating Adam's arrival in the garden that he took five days to form and create everything of creation. And it wasn't so that Adam could serve these things, but it's so these things could serve Adam. That's why we don't worship what's created. Because all that was created was God's plan for man to enjoy and to have authority over. So God had Adam in mind when he created the sun and the moon and the earth and the stars and the waters and the mountains. All the earth was with Adam in mind. And then God put the man in the garden after everything was prepared, all the provision was prepared. All that Adam would ever need was fully prepared before he arrived in the garden. Think of that. God's not changed the way he conducts his business. Before you ever arrive, he's already prepared the supply before you. Before you ever face a need, he's already prepared the supply. He shows in Adam how he thinks and how he operates. And God put Adam in the right place. Adam was in the place God created specifically for him. And God did the right thing. God blessed him so abundantly that there was nothing he had need of. Everything he had need of was fully supplied. Now Adam was put in the garden by God. Did God miss it? No, God didn't miss it. But Adam did the wrong thing in the right place. And what happened? The God who put him there also removed him from that place. You could not. You could not accuse God of failure. God didn't fail in that. Adam failed in that. So what am I? Why do. Why did I say all that to say this when failure happens, God didn't have anything to do with it. We can't accuse God. We can't get offended with God. God does nothing but bless, be good, prepare, supply, and give us everything we have need of. So if something went wrong, God had nothing to do with it. Because there's no failure in God. There's only success in God. He's only ever succeeded at everything he's done. And can I tell you this, that same success lives in you. Why he's in you to share his success with us, isn't He? So what's that mean? We have to draw on it. The only thing that our life is waiting for is for us to draw on all he has enriched us with. It's amazing. That's why I say this teaching, this revelation, this word of God is central to the life of every believer. If we're going to live the kind of life God intended for us to live, we have to establish this in us. This begins with renewing our mind to who we are in Christ. Now on our website, we have uploaded a document that lists all the scriptures. It's not just the references, but we printed out the scriptures that I don't know, there's about 130, 140 different scriptures listed, New Testament scriptures that show us who we are in Christ. And not only does it show us who we are in him, but who he is in us. And so when we see these scriptures that use the terminology in him, in whom in Christ through Him. All of these are what we call in Him Scriptures. Where do we begin establishing this truth in us? Get in those Scriptures. We invite you. Those are free for you to download. Go to our website@jesusthehealer.org you can download that. It's called the In Him Scriptures. And you can download that, print them out, and start meditating on those, speak those to yourself, build that into you as you do. It will become absolutely second nature to you because it's really your true nature of who you are in Christ. But you'll automatically go there. Instead of going to yourself to draw on help, you'll learn to draw on the greater one that's in you. When you realize that all that he is in you.

So we invite you, go get that, go download that. Print that out. Because we want you to feed on that. But the reason we want you to feed on it is because we want you to start thinking in those terms. Anytime God tells you to do something, calls you to something, assigns you something, learn to answer. I can do it in Him. The greater One in me is going to see to it that this is fulfilled. And I'm it's our job to yield. Listen, I remember I said to God years ago, I said, God, how come yesterday I sensed your presence greater than today? And you know what I was doing? I was really kind of saying, you're not being as present today as you were yesterday. And that was really the gist of what I was saying. And when I said, how come I don't sense you as strongly today as yesterday, Listen to his answer. He said, because yesterday you yielded further than you did today. It's not up to Him. It's up to us. The more we yield to the Christ in us, the more we yield to the greater One that's in us, the more he can flow and manifest through us. So what's that mean? We have to practice yielding more and more. How do we yield? Respond. How do we yield? Obey what he tells us to do. When we don't obey, we're not yielding to him, but we're learning to yield further and further and further.

Podcast Summary: Jesus the Healer w/ Nancy Dufresne Audio Podcast
Episode: 766 | In Christ I Can, Part 6
Release Date: June 9, 2025
In the sixth installment of the "In Christ I Can" series, hosted by Dufresne Ministries, Kenneth Copeland delivers a powerful message centered on the believer's identity and authority in Christ. Emphasizing faith, divine provision, and the importance of relying on the Holy Spirit, Copeland encourages listeners to embrace their spiritual inheritance and fulfill God's commands through Christ.
Copeland opens by highlighting the essence of living "In Christ," a central theme where believers acknowledge their dependence on Jesus for accomplishing God's will. He shares an inspiring story about Brother Copeland's response to a significant financial command from God:
Kenneth Copeland [02:43]: "In Christ I have it, and in Christ I can give it."
This declaration underscores the belief that through Christ, believers possess the necessary authority and resources to fulfill divine assignments, regardless of their personal circumstances.
Using a relatable analogy, Copeland compares believers to gloves moving through God's powerful hand:
Kenneth Copeland [03:00]: "We're the glove that his hand moves through. ... When you put your hand in that glove, it begins to take on movement of the hand that's us."
This metaphor illustrates how God's power operates through believers, enabling them to act beyond their natural capabilities by relying on divine strength.
A significant portion of the discussion focuses on the necessity of renewing one's mind to align with their identity in Christ. Copeland emphasizes that mental transformation is crucial for recognizing and exercising the spiritual authority granted to believers.
Kenneth Copeland [19:36]: "Renew our minds to this so that we quit thinking we're responsible. All we're responsible for is obeying him, hearing him and obeying him."
By changing their thought patterns, believers can shift from self-reliance to dependence on Christ, unlocking their full potential in God's plan.
Addressing practical aspects of life, Copeland speaks about God’s provision:
Kenneth Copeland [15:10]: "Everything that God has called you to do can only be accomplished one way. In Him, drawing on Him."
He reassures listeners that God ensures their needs are met through His spiritual and material resources, encouraging them not to limit themselves by relying solely on personal finances or abilities.
Copeland tackles the sensitive topic of failure, clarifying that failures are often human errors rather than divine shortcomings:
Kenneth Copeland [23:00]: "When failure happens, God didn't have anything to do with it. We can’t accuse God."
By distinguishing between divine providence and personal responsibility, believers are encouraged to maintain their faith and trust in God's unfailing nature.
Drawing from personal experiences, Copeland offers practical advice for various life situations, such as single parenthood and financial challenges:
Kenneth Copeland [18:00]: "Mamas, you're not limited to a single income home. You have a heavenly supply. You have heavenly resources."
He motivates listeners to adopt a mindset of divine abundance, assuring them that God provides beyond their immediate understanding when they trust in Him.
Kenneth Copeland [02:43]: "In Christ I have it, and in Christ I can give it."
Kenneth Copeland [03:00]: "We're the glove that his hand moves through."
Kenneth Copeland [19:36]: "Renew our minds to this so that we quit thinking we're responsible."
Kenneth Copeland [15:10]: "Everything that God has called you to do can only be accomplished one way. In Him, drawing on Him."
Kenneth Copeland [23:00]: "When failure happens, God didn't have anything to do with it. We can’t accuse God."
Kenneth Copeland [18:00]: "Mamas, you're not limited to a single income home. You have a heavenly supply."
This episode reinforces the transformative power of living "In Christ," urging believers to abandon self-reliance and fully embrace the divine resources available to them. By renewing their minds and yielding to God's authority, listeners are empowered to fulfill their divine missions and experience His abundant provision in every aspect of life.
