There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the Healer. Come on in. We're having a good time. And we invite you that if you haven't been able to watch all of the episodes in this series, go back and watch any of the ones you may have missed because we don't want you to miss any of what we're saying. We are on a series called In Him, I Can Do It. And my, my, my. I love this series because it reminds us of who we are in Christ, you know, who we are in ourselves, that's gonna change. But who we are in him, that's where real success lives. Amen. This is such to every believer. If we don't establish this in us, we will struggle unnecessarily. And so it's so important that we are fortified and established in who we are in Him. In fact, how do you say, how do we establish that in us? Well, we have compiled what we call in Him Scriptures. Well, what is that? That is just a list of about 130, 140 different scriptures that use the terminology, in him, in whom? Through him, through Whom. That lets us know who we are in him and who he is in us. You can go to our website at jesusthehealer.org, you can download that for free, print those out, and start feeding on those scriptures. This is our homework for this series because we've. It matters that we get this in us. It matters because when you realize that it's Christ working in you and through you, it removes all the struggles and you quit resisting agreeing with God. When he commands you something, you say, yes, let's do it. Because when God commands us something, he intends to do it through us. Amen. Anything God's called us to, he never intended that we do it apart from Him. He intended that he be the ability, the strength and the supply for what he's called us to do. So that takes us renew our minds. And answering in terms of that, well, Father, if you told me do that, we can do that. Amen. You're going to do that through me. Then people will make this statement, oh, God, I just want you to get me out of the way. Just get me out of the way. He's not going to get you out of the way. He needs you. Amen. He needs someone that will yield to him so he can manifest through. Do you know, Can I say this? The devil needs someone to manifest through. Yeah, well, God needs someone to manifest through. And who can he manifest through? The person who says yes. Just know this. The person who tells him no is no longer the will of God for that assignment. It's the one who says yes. Kathryn Kuhlman used to make this statement. She said, I am the 6th person God went to to call to the ministry that I have. What did she have? She had a miracle ministry. She had a healing ministry. She was evangelist, a New Testament evangelist with miracles and signs and wonders. And she said, I was not God's first choice. I was God's sixth choice. Well, how did she know that? Evidently, God told her. In other words, God's always going to find someone to say yes. I decided I'm going to be the one to say yes. I don't want some assignment intended for me to be passed to someone just because I struggled was saying yes. And because she said yes, there were. There were five other people that could have moved into a flow that they never moved into because they didn't say yes. Why did they not say yes? They thought they had to do it. When you understand it's Christ in us, the hope of glory, he's going to do what he calls us to do. He's going to do it through us. Amen. So let's think in those terms, let's speak in those terms, and let's act following the word of God in those terms. Amen. In Christ, I can. In Christ, if God says for you to start a business, don't say, oh, I don't have the ability to do that. Say, in Christ, I can do it. Amen. How am I going to do it? Not how am I going to do it? Let's get it done. Amen. And so we've been using a story, a testimony of Brother Copeland, to kind of be the launching pad for this series. When God told him to give $50,000 to Kenneth Hagin Ministries. Back in the 1970s, when Brother Copeland was in debt himself, and he agreed to it because he gave God this answer, in Christ I have it, and in Christ I can give it. That is so. That just goes off so big in me every time I. Every time I say it and every time I think about. Because it dawned on me when Brother Copeland told that story. God never intended for me to do anything apart from him. In the Book of Acts, it says, for in him we live, and in him we move, and in him we have our being. He left himself out of none of that. He involved himself in all of that. Amen. So anything that we're to do, never think of doing it apart from him. You can only do it because of him. Amen. Everything that God tells us to do, he intends to supply it. He never intends for you to go out and raise the money. Brother Jesse Duplantis said, God never told me to pay for it. He told me to believe for it. That's good. And then Brother Jesse has a. Jesse Duplantis has a book, this title also, but he has sermons. This title we've heard, and it's called Give God a Job. I called Brother Jesse one time. We were looking at something financially and looking at getting ready to pay off our building. And I had a question of Brother Jesse, and I said, brother Jesse, if you are in my position, I'm not asking you to make the decision for me, but if you were in my position, what would you do? Would you do this? The decision I was getting, you know, I was considering making, he said, do it yesterday. In other words, oh, yeah, I'd get it done. And then he followed it up with this statement. He said, nancy, give God a job. Well, I gave God a job. I emptied out every bank account of the ministry. And we were able to. We were able to get out of debt when we did that, and it wasn't long. We gave God the job of filling up the accounts, and he sure did. And we've been going ever since. Why? Because God never intended for you to do anything and leave him out. You know, haven't you ever somebody says, we're going to have a party, well, don't leave me out. Right? You want to get invited? Don't leave me out. And it's the same thing with God. He joyfully and cheerfully says, don't leave me out. Right. And so we just keep God busy all the time. So he doesn't have time enough to go to your house. He's at my house all the time. But we need to realize he doesn't want to be left out of anything that he's called us to do. And one thing about God, remember over in the Book of Revelation, Jesus said, behold, I stand at the door and knock. And if any man opens unto me, we will come in, me and my father, and we will sup with him. Let me tell you something. When you become the residence of God, and when you're born again, you are the residence of God. And not only that, when God lives there, he's not a freeloader. He's going to support that place he abides in. Amen. And he will. He will support your life with his divine provision. I'm reminded of there were many really dramatic events that happened through my husband's ministry. And I'm reminded of a time this happened before we got married. But he was in a church preaching on a midweek service. He had his own church in Southern California at the time. This would have been in the 1970s, but he was invited to preach in an area church there, also in California. So he went there on a midweek service. And as he started to open the service that night with his part of the preaching, God spoke to him and said, I want to have this building paid off tonight. And it was okay. Get right on that. You know, well, they owed $100,000 on their building. Now, in the 1970s, that's a big amount. There were about 200 people in the congregation that night. And so Ed said, okay, how are we going to do it, God? Well, can I tell you the first thing he said? God, let's wait till Sunday. That's what he said. Because he said, there will be more people here on Sunday. There's only 200 people here tonight, you know, to pay off $100,000. You know, when you calculate, it just looks like you need a bigger crowd, right? And so he said, how about we do it on Sunday? And God said. I said, pay off the building tonight. And so, Ed, you know, when you hear something from God, sometimes God may stop speaking. But that doesn't mean you have to stop speaking. You can start asking questions about what he just said. Sometimes God will say something to prompt us to ask questions of him. And so God said to my husband, I want this building paid off tonight. And so Ed said, okay, how do we do that? That's key. Find out the plan for how God intended instead of you just rushing ahead and assuming, you know, take time to hear. So my husband asked God, okay, how do we do that what do you want us to do? And God said to him, I want 100 people to give $1,000. Well, $1,000 just on a dime right there at that moment. That spur of the moment might not be a lot of people in the room that could do that. But Ed just told the people what God said. And God said to my husband, he said, tell the people that if they will obey my spirit, I will bless them with the winds of my treasury. And Ed just told the people. So he got him 100 envelopes, and he just stood front. See, you don't do this out of gimmick. You do this led by the Spirit of God. And if God tells you to do it in one place, that way you don't assume that I can make this happen in another place. Why? Because God's doing this. We do these things in Christ at his leading. You don't just see something that worked and think that I can pull that lever anytime. No, you can't. No, you can't. You can't do it without the anointing. And so my husband took those 100 envelopes and he just said, I'm just going to tell you what God told me. And he told it to the people. And all of a sudden, the people just started standing up. I'll give 1,000. I'll give a thousand. And Ed was counting and handing out, you know, those envelopes to each person. And there was. This was the time before most of the pastors recorded their services. And there was a woman there who had the presence of mind to bring a tape player. And she recorded the service. She put that tape player on one of the chairs of the front row because she wanted to hear the sermon replayed. And Ed was counting. They got up to the 80s. They got up to the 90s. Now, think of it. Think of this. Out of 200 people. And Ed was given that audio recording after the service. And you can HEAR ED COUNT. 89, 90, 91, 92, 93. He got to about 94. And all of a sudden, you heard. You heard it on the audio. It came in the room. Everybody heard it. And that night, that building was paid off. $100,000. What was that in Christ? We can do it. Praise God. See, that congregation had tried for a long time to pay it off. But when God spoke, when God says something, the anointing comes with what he says. You don't formulate it, and you don't try to imitate it. But this is how we move in Christ. What did he tell you? To do. And there were so many times that different ministers heard of that testimony. And they would invite, ed, I want you to come receive an offering and say, no, no, God didn't tell me to. See, this is the key. You have to stay sincere. You have to stay pure in your motives. And you have to realize this is in Christ. This is not in scheme, this is not in gimmicks. This is in Christ. Whatever Christ tells me to do, what he speaks to me by his spirit to do, that's what I'm going to do. Notice this. You can't just see what God did for somebody else and say, I can do that. No, not if Jesus didn't tell you you could. You can't. You know, when God told Abraham, he says, I made you the father of many nations. Lot couldn't gone out and tried to do that. God didn't say it to Lot. You have to know what is God saying to you? And when God tells you to do something, just obey it. That's how we move in Christ. We respond to him. First of all, our first response should be to acknowledge him. That's the first thing. Whenever God commands us to do something, we turn toward him and we say, we can do that. He has to have a yes answer so that he can manifest. Remember when Moses was on the backside of the desert? Now think of the life of Moses. Such an interesting life. All of the Hebrew people were in captivity, held in slavery. And there was a pharaoh who gave a command because the Hebrews were multiplying so much in the land that he was frightened that there would be an uprising against them. So he commanded, kill all the firstborn children. All the firstborn sons. And Moses, Mama said, not in my house. That's right, not in my house. While they were going in the Egyptian soldiers and slaughtering the firstborn in the home, she said, not in my house. And she no doubt got a plan from God. And the plan was, make a basket, put my baby in a basket, and send him down the Nile. Listen, the Nile was not the lazy river. It was a. It was a port of trade. There was much activity on. Supported that whole region of the world. There was a lot of activity. There were critters in that thing. I mean, this was a violent, moving flow. And she took her baby and she put her baby in a basket, put it in the water, and told Miriam, the oldest daughter, you go, you follow that basket. Miriam had a part in the deliverance of that nation. What was her part? Just follow the basket. Do you know God Gives us the easy part. Just follow what I tell you to do. And no doubt divine hands carried that basket right up to the back door of the. Of the Pharaoh's palace. And the Pharaoh's daughter just happened to be in the water at that time when the basket comes up. You think that's coincidence? Not in the kingdom. Not in the kingdom. That is divine order. And God commands all the Hebrew babies, the boys to be born that are born to be killed. And God says, oh yeah, I'll put one in your house and you'll pay to raise him. And so Pharaoh's daughter takes this Hebrew baby, takes it into the home of Pharaoh and raises it like her own son. And not only this. Then she says to Miriam, because Miriam says, do you need a nurse for him? And she says, I do. And she went and got her mama. And her mama was paid to raise her own son. The genius of God, right in Christ. God always has a plan. And that's what I want you to see. God always has a plan. I firmly believe those Hebrews, every single one of them, had a covenant with God. I believe God would have given to every mama a plan to rescue their baby. But we have to ask, we have to believe. We have to not permit what happens in the lives and families of others that's not happening in mine. Amen. So this mama of Moses, she decided that's not happening in my family. And so her son was raised for 40 years in the culture of Egypt. Educated. And of course he realized that he. He did not want to live the life of an Egyptian when he knew his own brethren were in slavery. But in him trying of his own ability to rescue a nation. See, in his heart, he recognized there's a plan. God has a plan for me to be a part of freeing my countrymen. And he tried to make it happen in himself. And what happened? It was devastation. He had to run for his life and he had to flee for 40 years hiding in the backsides of in the back deserts of Egypt, just to save his life. But God didn't forget that of all the Hebrews that were in slavery, there was one man who was free. Moses was the only free Hebrew in the earth. And God did that. Why? Because God intended to take the free man and turn every slave free. And so he told Moses, go back to Egypt and tell Pharaoh, let my people go. What if Moses wouldn't have done it? God would have had another way of doing it. But you don't ever want God to go to plan B when you're Plan A. And if you start calculating. How can I do this? You can't. But he can. You don't have to figure out the plan. You just have to say in him, I can. And because Moses went back to Egypt with God's plan in his mouth, what was it? Tell Pharaoh, let my people go. Now, that didn't sound like a very good deal for Pharaoh. Why? That's their workforce, right? He's going to lose his workforce. And naturally speaking, it didn't make sense for him to turn over the Hebrews to freedom. But if. If. If Pharaoh would have obeyed, God would have given him a plan to. To. To supply his workforce. And it would have been better than turning a man into a slave. Amen. But he didn't have faith enough to say yes. And because he didn't say yes, it meant devastation to his nation. They were destroyed economically, they were destroyed agriculturally, they were destroyed. And their water supply was destroyed. Everything was destroyed. Their future was destroyed. When the firstborn, the next generation was gone. What was that? Because somebody said no. Don't ever say no. Always say yes. Because the anointing of God goes with the person who says yes. Amen. Sometimes there can be times when the devil will say, well, see, you weren't God's first choice. Well, I'm the first one to say yes. You might not have been God's first choice, but you'd be the first one to say yes. And the ones that were previously asked are no longer the will of God. You're the will of God, the one who says yes. Amen. If you look at you, you might say no. If you look at your resources, you might say no. So don't look there. You're authorized to look at him. You're authorized to say, in Christ. I. I have it. In Christ, I can do it. That's why I love Brother Copeland's story so much. Because it holds. It holds a revelation for us that is so simple. Listen to how easy that is. God says to Brother Copeland, I want you to give $50,000. Okay. In Christ, I have it. And in Christ, I can do it. He did not say, where am I going to get it from? What am I going to do? Oh, my gosh. How many hours is this going to take of extra work? He didn't go the hard way. He went the easy way. What's the easy way? Talk about the greater one in you. Talk about in Christ I can do it. In Christ, I can fulfill it. This has to become the habit of our talk. The habit of our response. Because Christ can only manifest his ability, his power, when we acknowledge it, when we respond to Him. How do we respond to Him? We obey everything he tells us. So God delivered Egypt. God delivered the Hebrews out of Egypt. When Moses obeyed and went back and did everything that God told him to do. When. When Moses said yes. When one man said yes, it freed a nation. Think of that. We don't ever realize all that our yes is connected to because it's not just connected to us. It's connected to our family. It's connected to our local church. It's connected to the body of Christ. It's connected to the earth. And we. I have no doubt that Moses, when he saw that burning bush, you know what kind of financial situation Moses was in. We know what kind of financial situation he was in at here. He was 80 years old and it says he was watching his father in law's shape. They weren't even his own flock. He was working for another man. And not only that, the father in law, his daddy in law, gave him a job that was his financial setting. That was his setting at that season in his life. And God gave him the biggest job he had ever heard of. Go back to Egypt and set my people free. He could have just gone naturally and said, I'm not a success in the business world. I used to have success, but in this place, all I do is keep my father in law's sheep. He could have diminished his role in that season of his life. But God will use the seasons that don't look very heroic to prepare you in. And so God, in that season when Moses was simply his father in law's employee, at 80 years old, many dismissed themselves from the plan of God. But at 80, the plan of God was just getting started. Wow. And so what's that mean? Age is not a dismissal for your yes. Age will not dismiss you from saying yes to God. God expects you to say yes whenever age might in your head be a feature. Have you ever noticed before God calls you to something? He doesn't check your birth certificate. I want you to know he not only doesn't check your birth certificate, he doesn't check your checking account either. He doesn't check your wallet. He just wants you to say yes because he knows who he will be through you if you will say yes to Him. Amen. Doesn't this thrill you? Just. We can all do that. Say yes. It's so easy to say yes based on who he is, not based on who I am. But he does need two things out of us. He needs our faith and he needs our obedience. Amen. Because he can't manifest unless we're obeying Him. Amen. Well, we want to give you some homework. How about that? We want you to go to our website@jesustheheater.org and for free you can download these in him scriptures. That's what it will look like when you print it off for yourself. And there's about 130 or so scriptures that we've printed out for you that you meditate on these, you get these built on the inside of you. And when you do that and you realize, you establish in you who I am in Christ, what happens is it takes all the struggle out of life. Amen. Jesus said, my yoke is easy and my burden is light. How many of you know he never gave you something hard. He only ever gave you something that he could do. And so he just needs our agreement. And we agree. How about that? You agree with his plan for your life. How do you agree? Say words of agreement. That's where it begins. And then the power of God will meet those words. Amen. Well, you don't want to miss upcoming episodes. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

Podcast: Jesus the Healer w/ Nancy Dufresne Audio Podcast
Episode: 772 | In Christ I Can, Part 12 (June 17, 2025)
Host: Nancy Dufresne
Main Theme:
This episode continues Nancy Dufresne's powerful teaching series "In Christ I Can," with an emphasis on how believers can step into their full inheritance in Christ by saying "yes" to God’s call, renewing their minds, and cooperating with the Holy Spirit. Nancy underscores the importance of allowing Christ’s strength, ability, and provision to flow through us—removing our struggles and unleashing God's supernatural ability in our lives.
Receiving God’s Power:
“Say, I receive that power. I receive it right now from the top of my head to the soles of my feet.” (00:36)
Establishing Identity:
“Who we are in ourselves, that’s gonna change. But who we are in Him, that’s where real success lives.” (01:10)
On God’s Assignment:
“He needs someone that will yield to him so he can manifest through. … The devil needs someone to manifest through. … God needs someone to manifest through. … The person who says yes.” (02:44)
Obedience Unlocks the Supernatural:
“When God says something, the anointing comes with what he says. You don’t formulate it, and you don’t try to imitate it.” (18:41)
God’s Genius in Delivering Moses:
“God says, oh yeah, I’ll put one [baby] in your house and you’ll pay to raise him.” (22:45)
Age and Means Are No Limitation:
“Age is not a dismissal for your yes. Age will not dismiss you from saying yes to God. … He doesn’t check your birth certificate. He doesn’t check your wallet.” (25:04)
Saying “yes” to God doesn’t depend on your strength, resources, or age. Christ’s ability, provision, and wisdom are available the moment you yield. Stand on your identity “in Him,” respond in faith and obedience, and watch God’s supernatural intervention transform situations for His glory and your good.
