There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the Healer. And we have been in the middle of a series that I am so thrilled we've gotten to share this with you. I we've been teaching on some truths about in Christ and we, it's so important we get this revelation on the inside of us because it's so central to the life of the believer. It is a very vital part of our foundation. And so we invite you listen to these over and over again. And not only that, we're making some resources available to you. You can go to our website@jesusthehealer.org and you can download some free material. This is one of them where we have in him scriptures compiled for you. There's about over 130 or so. I believe you can print those out, meditate on them, speak them to yourself. And then we took what are some of our favorite of those scriptures and we also put them in a smaller booklet form. So you can, you can download either one of these for free on our website again@jesussthehealer.org Listen ladies, this fits in your purse. Just carry it with you and feed on it, pull it out. You know, maybe when you're having a lunch break or you're having some quiet time or men put this in the glove compartment of your truck or your car, whatever. Just keep these things handy and take the free moments of the day to fill them with meditating on the Word. You know it's instructional to us when we read Joshua chapter one, verse eight and it says this book of the law shall not depart out of our mouth, but we shall meditate therein day and night. What's that mean? That means it's a lifestyle of meditating on the Word so keep it handy and close to you so that just Every day, instead of just going to something natural, you can go to something that's going to feed your faith. Amen. And if I can give you a little bit of instruction about when you feed on the Word, always look at your time as feeding on the Word. I'm feeding my faith because the Word is faith food. It feeds your spirit, it feeds the mind, but it affects every single arena. So when you're feeding on the Word, look at it as I'm sitting down and I'm having a conversation with Jesus. Amen. I mean, make it personal. It's not simply a book. It's him speaking to us. And so whenever you're feeding on Word, look at it. I'm feeding my faith today as I feed on this Word, something in my foundation is going, is being built and fortified. It matters how we're building our life in everyday life. It's not just in the emergency moments of putting the Word in, thank God, we can do that. But I say take advantage of every day to build the Word in so that nothing's missing in your foundation whenever you need to draw on the power of the Word. Amen. And so these, what we would call in Him Scriptures, they're going to put something in your foundation that you can build your life on. Amen. And as I said, we've been ministering on this topic in Christ and I've titled it In Christ we can do it. And doesn't that of course make sense that through Christ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me? Notice this. It's not I can, it's in through Christ. He's the one who does the work. So therefore I can say yes to what he commands of me because I know that anytime he commands something of me, he intends to be involved in that, fulfilling that through Me. He's not asking me to fulfill anything he's called me to apart from Him. And that is so critical for us to get hold of just in our daily life that we automatically think when God, when God commands us to do something, when we read in His Word and instruction, he never intends for us to do it with just natural human ability, natural human wisdom. He intends for us to draw on Him. Now, can I say this? Every single one of us, there's things that we have possibly in our life that we say, you know what, I don't need that anymore. If it's not going to help me in my race, if it's not going to advance me spiritually, we just learn as we come into different seasons of our life to cut certain things away. Do you know that? Even cutting those things away, and it's really. What is it called? It's called consecration. But even in cutting those things away, we don't just do it by human willpower. We have the help of the Holy Ghost, that He enables us and empowers us, that if we will say yes to that, that he will grace us to make those changes. And what am I saying? None of just fulfilling what we're called to can happen because we're drawing on us, but because we're drawing on Him. Have you ever been frustrated, maybe with your spiritual progress at a time saying, I'm not going as fast as I should. I'm not being as skillful as I should. I'm not being as diligent in some things as I need to be. Well, can I say this? If we'll turn from drawing on us and drawing on the greater One in us, it makes all the difference. Amen. So we have to remember that as we're living this daily life, when it says, I can do all things, don't stop there. Through Christ, who strengthens me. He's the strengthener, he's the enabler. He's the one that empowers us. And so we have to not focus on I can, but on through Him. Amen. Through Christ. And so this is why it's so important, what we've been teaching. It is so critical to our daily life to renew our minds, make those changes in the thought life that we're not just doing. We're not living life as usual. We're living life in his ability, in his power. We have to go back to Acts, chapter 17, where it's recorded. In him we live, in him we move. And in him we have our being. Listen, there's. Think of this, of our entire being. Spirit, soul, body. It's all to be conducted as one. In Him. For my. For My Spirit, he's the life of it. For my mind, he's the peace of it. For my body, he's the strength of it and the health of it. In him we have our being. Our entire being is to be drawing on Him. And so this is what we're bringing to you. Because we want to renew our minds. Because how easy it is to just flip back to the way we always functioned. But that didn't work so well. It doesn't work so well. We got born again because it wasn't working well. Let's not go back to our old way of operating and thinking. So we Renew our mind to. To. Wait a minute. He's in me. I'm going to lean on him. I'm going to draw on him, and I'm going to respond to who he is in me. And you say, pastor Nancy, I agree. I want to do that, but how do I do that? How do I lean on him? How do I respond to him? One way, obey him. Whatever he's telling you to do, do it. Whatever you sense in your spirit to do, do it. Come on. And obedience is how we lean on him. We can't just lean on him emotionally. What I mean, what do I mean by that? We can't just say, oh, I love feeling his presence. Well, that's great. There are times that we can sense his presence in a very prominent way, but things aren't going to change in our life because we sense him. Things are going to change because we obey the one we sense. Amen. So obedience, putting action to our. The leadings that we have from him, and that's how we respond to Him. That's how we lean on Him. That's how we follow his lead. He wants to work in every arena of our life through us, but it's going to be measured by how far we obey Him. And so, as we study together, we're learning further and further what he can be in us, what he will be, and how we can follow him and obey Him. In that Amen. We've been using as our starting place a testimony that Brother Kenneth Copeland gave. I so love it. It's so rich. If you haven't watched the previous episodes in this series, go back and watch. I don't mind repeating myself. I do repeat myself a lot. Why? Because full faith does not come with one hearing. You have to hear and hear and hear and hear. And any good teacher, any good instructor, any good parent is going to repeat themselves because truths have to be repeated to build them in the lives of people.
C
Amen.
B
You know, Paul made a statement, and the Amplified Classic records it this way. He said, it is not irksome to me to write to you again these truths because it is a precaution for your safety. So notice this. He says, I'm repeating myself so that your life will be safe. Thank you, Lord. So it's why we repeat ourselves. It's not because we don't have something to say that's new. It's because we're taking the wonderful importance of these truths and we're helping just drive those into our spirits and into our way of thinking. And know this into our daily life. The mind isn't renewed until we're living that truth daily. It's not enough to say, I can quote the Word. It's not enough to be able to repeat a scripture that, you know, we have to be implementing it in our daily life. That's when we know our mind is renewed in a particular direction. So that's why I repeat it so much, so that we can drive this into our spirits and so that it becomes a way of life. And when something is a way of life, we just go there automatically, without thinking, without struggling. How many times that we reached for something that we used to reach for, and we go, wait a minute, I'm not in that direction anymore. Well, even so, we can reach for who we are in Christ automatically if we'll build it big in us. Praise God, at first when we're learning a new skill. You know this. If you're an athlete, if you have any kind of artistic ability, any kind of music ability, that skill did not show up the first day you put your hand to that tool. It took time. But after you trained and got that foundation in you, it became second nature. And so that's what we want the Word to be, second nature in the sense of it is our divine nature. But it needs to be something we turn to automatically. Wait a minute, who am I in Christ? Would Christ think this? Would Christ do this? Would Christ see, say this? Would Christ go there? We automatically behave and think in the terms of, wait a minute, I'm in him, he's in me, and that's going to govern everything I do. Now, if we would implement that, what do you think that would do to a home? What do you think that would do to a marriage? What do you think that would do to a conversation where it's potentially conflict there? When we behave as one in Christ, we bring peace to every setting. Listen to that. In Christ. When he. When Jesus showed up, everything started going into place, right? Bodies that were sick became healed because he showed up. Minds that were tormented became peaceful because he showed up. Ignorance was run out because he showed up and taught the Word to the people. Everything changed for the better in Jesus earthly ministry when he came on the scene. Now that's what's supposed to happen in our daily lives, that every time we show up, everything gets better. Not everything erupts. Not everything goes into turmoil, not everything goes into chaos, not everything goes into strife and conflict. Those things are not the flow of in Christ and part of skill. And if I could say this, the beginning Point of skill is to recognize what is not of Christ. And we have to recognize, wait a minute, maybe what's been going on in my home is that of Christ. Did he author that? Can he get involved in the way I'm engaged in this setting at home? So we can't just live the way we were raised. We need to live the way Jesus is raising us. Christ is raising us. The Father, the Holy Ghost, our helper is raising us. It's not going back to just what we know. And so many times, if we're not careful, people dismiss themselves by saying, that's just the way I was raised. But, you know, I remember something. Let me tell you what happened to me years ago. I can only use me, you know, as the example. And sometimes that's good, and sometimes that's revealing. But I remember years ago because in our home, I was the youngest of four children. And in our home, when you're the youngest of four, you can't, if I could say this, win physically because your older brothers and sister can dominate you physically. So I learned how to win verbally. And in our household, wit. And, you know, wit is fun, but there's a line, there's a place when you go too far, right? And I lived kind of on the too far side growing up, but that's kind of how I won against my brothers and my sister. And I would have to win verbally. So I became very skillful with that. And I remember the time that once I got married, my goodness, I was, what, 22 when I got married? And I just thought that was just a. If I could say it this way, wit was rewarded in our household. And, I mean, if you got the last word through wit against, you know, a sibling, wow, good for you, you know. And so it was rewarded. Well, it's not rewarded in a marriage because the setting is completely different. And so I had to learn that. And so I remember when God dealt with me about I knew how to just make a statement and win, you know? And I remember when God said to me, he said, don't use your wit in the marri. He said, I can't bless that. And I had never really thought of that. And so when he said that to me, I said, well, God, you know, I was raised in a home to where that was appreciated. He said, well, it's not appreciated in mine. I go, oh, really? You know, it's a new thought, right? And so I said to him, I said, I've been doing this for over 20 years. And I said, it May take me a little bit of time to catch that and back out of that direction. And he said, I give you no time. Wow, that. I go, really? Can we negotiate this? You know, a week, a month? I mean, how much leeway here do I have? And he said, I give you no time. It changes now. And when I heard that word now, I go, okay, how do I fulfill now? And then he followed it up. He said, if Jesus wouldn't say it, don't you say it. If Jesus wouldn't do it, don't you do it. He said, if Jesus wouldn't appreciate it, don't do it. Don't say it. Don't think it. I go, got it. I measure myself. I measure my response, not by how I was raised, but by what pleases him. And when I flipped that, do you know, it changed that moment. I never struggled with it again because he told me how to implement that change. Anytime his word, we see change that needs to happen because we fed on the word, because he spoke to us like he spoke to me. And we implement that change that we heard. It always works. It always works. And it was easy. It was not hard. Now I had to pay attention, but it wasn't hard. And once that change was implemented, from then on, it became my natural response. And so I'm just saying to you, learn to practice every day the response of who you are in Christ and who he is in you. Does that mean I'm going to handle the way I speak to my family different, probably to my spouse? What about to my employer? What about if I hear others in the lunchroom at work saying something? I'm going to decide. I'm not jumping into that because that's not in Christ. Amen. And I remember that dealing that day that God had with me about using wit in the wrong way, using wit at the wrong time and in the wrong place. And there's a way to be witty that is. It's a refreshing. It's an enjoyable thing, you know? But there's a way that you go too far and you step over the line. And I said to God that day, I said, God, you don't understand. I was raised that way. I didn't realize it was wrong to use it this way. And I said, I was just raised that way. He said, when you stand before me, you will not be judged by how you were raised. You will be judged according to what I said in my word. Wow. And I go, ah. So my upbringing is not my standard. My upbringing is not my measurement. Your word is my measurement. Who we are in Christ is our measurement. And so that's why I say I'm repeating myself a lot on these things. Because sometimes we haven't realized the way we're presenting ourselves in daily life has to be run through who we are in Christ. Amen. It will change the way you speak to your spouse. And can I say this? Learn, catch yourself. If you find out. Wait a minute. I'm the tornado in my own home. I found this out. The only drama I want in my life is when God's power is in manifestation. I don't want human drama. I don't want drama because someone ignited a situation just to look important or just to steal the scene. Drama is wrong every time just to say something for a drama effect. It's not faith, it's not walking in love. It's not the fruit of the spirit. And I want my life to depict the higher flow. So I run all drama out of my life. Why? Because I love peace. I love joy. I don't want the drama of crisis. And when you're in Christ, your life is not colored with crisis. Now let me tell you this. If you can look at your life and see that your family, your personal life seems to go from crisis to crisis to crisis, God offers you something better. Amen. Because in Christ there is a flow that blesses your life to where things, if I could say this, stay in place. And it's not chaotic. And so we have to learn, we have to pay attention. What goes, what's. What's in the atmosphere of my home? What's in the. What's in the flow of my communication? In my marriage, Do I erupt? Do I fly off the handle? Do I get angry and start just spewing out things? And people will say it this way. Well, I didn't mean it in my heart. It just, you know, of the moment, that doesn't matter. Words are words and they'll work quicker when they come out of your heart. But any word will work, whether it's a negative or positive. You know, my dad was a farmer and I remember planting season. It was a big season in our household. If daddy planted, he would either plant wheat or he would plant cotton. If he meant to plant wheat and some cotton seeds, automatically they fell by mistake into the ground. The ground didn't care that he didn't mean to plant cotton. It would grow whatever was put in it. Words. Are you putting something in the ground?
C
Yes.
B
And you can be planting a garden. You intend to maybe plant tomatoes and you realize, wait a minute, there's peas that are growing over here. The ground doesn't know. Oh, I didn't mean to plant that There. It grows what's put in it, regardless of your intent. So good. Notice that you might not intend to cause to say words that have that result, but. But you're going to. Your life is going to produce what you sow, and words are what you sow. And it's not always intent that will grow. It's everything that you sow. So you might say, well, I'm just speaking out of my head, not my heart. Doesn't matter. They're still words and they will grow of harvest. So make certain. Pay attention. Catch how you speak to one another. Not only that, catch the tone. Because to walk as one in Christ, every part of how we treat someone has to reflect Him. Now, don't we want Christ, the flow of who we are in him, to show up at a time of emergency, at a time when we need a miracle? We want the higher flow to show up, don't we? Well, that being the case, then we can't just sow ourselves in our flesh and our own human thinking all throughout the day. And then at a time we need a miracle, sow him into that situation and think we're going to get the full harvest. We have to practice him all the time. We have to practice flowing in him, yielding to him, responding to him, not responding to the flesh one moment. And then at a time of emergency, respond to him where we need to. We need to be consistent in the place we're drawing on. Amen. And so, thank God, we can live out of that higher flow in him every day. Now listen, put that demand on yourself every day, not just church time. Can I tell you this? No one sees the real you at church. No one. No one. They see the real us in our home. The way we are at home is the real us. The way we are when no one knows what we're thinking, when no one sees what we're doing, that's the real us. Because God knows. Amen. And those are the times we train ourselves in the Word. Those are the times we put our foot to that flesh, put our foot to that wrong thinking, and we make sure that what we are in private is dealt with, because that's the real us. Amen. Draw on him every moment. Amen. Yield to him and be the best version of who you are in him. Amen. Well, again, we want to get hold of the materials. We're going to be teaching some more on this. You don't want to miss upcoming episodes, but go to our website@jesusthehealer.org, download these these materials because they'll be a blessing to you feet on them. And can I say this? Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
In this installment of her ongoing "In Christ I Can" series, Nancy Dufresne explores foundational truths about the believer’s identity in Christ, emphasizing how Christ’s strength enables daily victory, transformation, and peace. This teaching focuses on practical application—renewing the mind, obeying the Holy Spirit, and making the Word of God an active force in every area of life, especially the home.
This episode serves as a practical, faith-building guide for anyone seeking to deepen their daily walk “in Christ”—to live, speak, and act consistently from the new identity He offers, empowered by His presence and the Holy Spirit.
