There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now. I receive it right now. From the top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the healer. And we are so enjoying our time in the Word with you. Thank you so much for joining us and thank you for loving the Word. Thank you for honoring the Word. And it's such a joy to share the Word with those who honor what we honor. Amen. The Word tells us that God spoke and he said, those who honor Me, I will honor. And let just know this, when he honors us, boy, life looks different than anything else that man could ever put on us. I tell you, the honor of God will show up in so many ways of blessing. And so when we honor the Word, and can I tell you this, it's only the part of the Word we honor that we'll partake of. When we call him and honor Jesus as healer, that's when we partake of healing. When we honor God as provider, that's when we take care of, we'll take part of provision. When we honor him as the joy of our life, that's when joy will be the flow of our life. When we honor him as the peace giver, then that's when we'll live in peace. And I tell you what, it's only the part of the Word we honor that works for us, that we'll partake of. So we choose to honor all of it, don't we? We don't just pick and choose our favorite parts and decide that other parts aren't for us. It's all for us. Because it will all honor us as we honor it. And one way we honor it is we give it time. We give it our attention. We spend time in the Word. Right? So thank you for honoring the Word by spending time around the Word. And we love sharing this time with you. And we count it a blessing to share it with You. We've been on a series, what I'm calling in Christ, we can do it. And I've not in the previous episodes, completely shared everything that our text is showing us. But we're just. If I could say this, we're chit chatting around these truths. And if you get this truth of who you are in Christ established so big in your spirit, in your mind, in your thought life, and in your response of your daily life, that is the foundation that will, if I could say this, make you such a great success. Because it's where our success only comes from, who's in us, not because of what we can win for ourselves. Anytime we win success for ourselves, there's sorrow added with it. The Word tells us that he makes us rich, and he adds no sorrow with it. So it's only something that we can achieve or lay hold of through him, something that we can move with because we're moving with Him. That's what blesses our life. But if we win it apart from him, there will be sorrow attached to it. And it's a blessing to know the wealth that he offers us is Christ Himself. Think of it. Every single arena completely enhanced, completely, completely just drinking of who he is. We don't really realize what all that means, but we're learning, aren't we? In Acts, chapter 17, it's written, in him we live, in him we move, and in him we have our being. Notice this. Every part of our being is to be affected, governed by who we are in him, spiritually, mentally, physically, materially. But not only that. Our business, our home, our interaction in our marriage, with our spouse, with our children, it's all to be drawing on who we are in him. And it changes everything. And know this. The flow of the world doesn't show you this, so you get to find it out from him what that looks like. Right as our beginning point, we've been taking a testimony that Kenneth Copeland shared. I so love this testimony that he gave that in the 1970s, God spoke to him and said, I want you to sow $50,000 to Kenneth Hagin Ministries. Of course, Brother Copeland didn't have that in his own resources. He himself was in debt. And so that seemed like such a large command. But the skill of Brother Copeland's answer is, so that's what really I've been teaching on taking his answers because it reflects who we are in Christ. And Brother Copeland answered, when God said to him, I want you to sow $50,000 to Kenneth Hagin's ministry, the skill of Brother Copeland's answer was this. In Christ, I have it. And in Christ, I can give it. So good. My, my, my. What an answer. Because he knew in himself he didn't have it in himself he couldn't give it. But he did not allow his mind to go to him. He allowed it to go to Christ in him. And that dictated his answer. Everything God commands of you, God intends for that to be fulfilled in him, not in you. So I saw when Brother Copeland said this. In Christ I have it, and in Christ I can give it. If we measure ourselves apart from Christ, the answer would be in me, I don't have it. And in me, I can't give it. So I saw everything I do in him possible. Everything I do just in me. Drawing on me, drawing on my resources, drawing on my ability. It's all impossible. But remember what the angel told Mary. Gabriel said this. With God, all things are possible. Notice with him. But without him, nothing's possible. Amen. And we are spirit beings. You're a spirit being. That's the. That's the feature of you that is created in the image of God. When God said in Genesis, it's recorded, let us make man in our own image. He was talking about the spirit of man. God is a spirit, and he created you a spirit being. You are a spirit. You have a soul, which is your mind, your will and your emotions. And you live in a body, but you are a spirit, meaning because you are a spirit. You are in God's class of being because He's a spirit. And that wasn't something I just said. That was something he made happen, right? So because we are a spirit being, the spirit realm is our home. The spirit realm belongs to us. That is to be naturally the place we operate out of. The spirit realm. When you draw on who you are in Christ, you just touched into Christ's realm. You just touched into that spirit realm of who he is, not who he is in the natural. Who he was as a man in walking this earth, but who he is as a spirit being. God the Son. That's what we're drawing on. The spirit realm is our realm. That's the faith realm, and that's the realm that we're to be at home in. It's not to be a foreign flow to us. In fact, we are so to be skillful in that flow, that the flow of this world becomes foreign to us. We can be the flow of God's word, the flow of God's spirit, the flow of the nine fruits of the Spirit Listen. The nine fruits of the Spirit are the attributes of God. They are in us at the new birth. Love, joy, peace, faithfulness, meekness, temperance. All these things that came into us as the fruits of the Spirit listed in Galatians, chapter 5. Where do you think God went to get those Himself? He did not go outside of Himself to find these forces to put in you. They're of Him. And so when you yield to those fruits in your Spirit, you're yielding to in Christ. They came into you when you came into Christ, and He came into you. So when we respond in love, when we respond in peace, we respond in joy, in joy, we respond in faithfulness, we respond in temperance, we respond in goodness and meekness and all these divine forces. That is us responding as one in Christ. Amen. And so that puts us in God's class of being. This is God's own love that he put in us as a fruit. Love, joy. This is his own joy. The joy of the Lord is your strength. It's his joy that we're spending, not ours. It's His. This peace that we're spending is His. And this is what we're to draw on. And how about this? How about we spend it lavishly? Come on. Right. Filling us with Himself through His life, his own nature. But his nature is seen through these nine fruits of the Spirit. When we are flowing in those, God wants you to spend it all. Why? Because you can't spend it all. You never reach the end. There is no limit on how much we spend. You know, I remember that my husband was always so generous with me. Can I say this? Spouses, be generous with one another. Be generous. Don't take advantage of one another, but be generous. If I said to my husband, boy, I like that he made that his assignment. If he heard me say that I like something, then that he took that as, that's my assignment to get that for her, because I knew he would do that. I was very careful of what I said I liked because I didn't want to abuse that heart of his, to be so generous. But there were times that I would maybe go shopping, and I'm not. I actually don't love to shop. You know, some love to shop. I don't love it. I do like it better now that it's online, that I can just sit at home and click. That works for me, brother. That works for me. But I never was one that loved shopping. And I'm pretty clear when I go shopping, I go in, I get what I want, and I come Right back out. But there were times that I needed to get. Whether we needed more clothing for travel or we were going to a different climate and I needed different clothing. And I would say to my husband, I'm going shopping. I would shop one way. But when he would say, I want to go shopping with you, there were a few times he listen, he did that. And if I went and he went with me that day, he would say, get this, get that, get. He would. He was so lavish with me because I liked it. When I took him because I got more. He never put restrictions on me and said, don't you spend too much. Why? Because I was not going to spend in a way that put a hardship on my family. I would not do it. That's the height of selfishness. I wouldn't do it. But I was mindful. And so when he went with me, he gave me permission to take off the limits. Christ is in you and all limits are off. Amen. All limits are off. That in him there are no limits. Now, I don't mean that you go home and you act like there's no limits. I said, in him, be lavish with what he's stocked you with, who he is in you. Spend lavishly. Amen. Don't be a miser in how you respond to him. The more we respond to him, the more of him that flows through us. If we respond in minimal measure, he can only be a minimal flow to us and through us. But if we will respond at a greater measure, then it's limitless what we can partake of and the blessing he makes us to others as we rely on Him. Now, this is the skill of recognizing what's him and what's me. What does he offer me in this situation as opposed to what I would be bringing to this situation. Don't bring. You bring him to every situation. There was a time that when my husband went home to be with the Lord, there were. My husband was such a doer. Oh, my goodness. He was a doer. He was a visionary. He always had something new he was getting ready to do always. And he always had multiple projects going on. He wasn't happy until his hands were like this every day. He wanted multiple things going on, and he kept our faith. He kept our faith moving. And he was a great teacher in this and. But when he went home to be with the Lord, there were eight major projects on the board that he had been working to complete, and we were needing to get those completed. And there was one project in particular that affected every project and when I say projects, two of them were finishing the constructions on buildings. So I'm not talking about something that could be done in a day. I'm talking about something that required a walk of faith every day to reach the fulfillment of it. And there's one project that it would have had a domino effect on every other one. If that one would have failed, then every other project would have felt that. And so this one was so critical. And because it was critical to the fulfillment of all of them, that was the one the devil opposed the most. And there were times that, my goodness, it looked like for months that that project was going the wrong direction. But I didn't go by what it looked like. I went by what God told me. And every day I kept my ear open and turned toward him to find out what he had to say about it. Because if I went by what I saw I saw, it would not come to pass. But when I went by what he said, it changes what I saw. I had to pay attention to what he said. Words trump circumstances. And when I needed circumstances changed, I needed words to do that with. Not just me coming up with words or formulating words, I had to hear words from him. So I remember there was one particular day that things were coming really to a climax in this project. And I received an email from some attorneys on the other party's side. And they said, we are going to go meet with the city and they are going to require you to comply with certain commands. And I thought, no way. This is my property. They cannot require me to meet with their conditions. I'm the owner, not them. But this attorney was hoping I would not realize that. And so I just told my son and I told my administrator, we're going to show up at a city meeting unannounced, uninvited. I'm just going to swoop in on that thing. We're not going to announce it and let them know we're going to show up. And so we did. But before we showed up, I put something else on assignment. We have the power of God working for us. And before I ever left my home that day, I got in the presence of God and I assigned his power to that room. Why? Because in Christ, power is available to me. In Christ, power is available to you. And this is what Paul, one of the things he prayed in ephesians, in chapter one, verse 19, he said that you would know the exceeding greatness of his power to us. Would who believe? So I decided, because I'm in Christ, I'm not going in that room alone. I need something greater than me to get this situation turned. I need divine ability. I need divine power. And so I'm going to not only take that power with me, I'm going to send it in there ahead of me. And so I just got in the presence of God. How'd you do that, Pastor Nancy? Through worship, through praising. And what happens when you praise? Praise brings the anointing, and it's the anointing that destroys the yoke. I'm not going to go in there and fuss and fight with people. That's their flow, not my flow. I'm in charge. And because I'm in authority, with my authority, I bring the higher flow, which is the flow of God's power. I will not go to the lower flow of strife and conflict, not my flow. I will take my stand. I will say whatever I have to say in the exercise of my authority. Listen, authority won't turn you weak. Authority won't turn you quiet. But notice, when you speak the authority of God's word, it sends God's power into motion, into that situation. But if you're just going to speak out of a place of strife and conflict, God can't feel those words. I will not enter strife and conflict because I'm above it. I deal with it from a higher place. So I dealt with it before I went into that meeting room. And when we were in that meeting room, I didn't get into any kind of conflict. I would just answer certain questions that were asked of me. The attorney was, if I could say this mannerly while I was in there, and nothing got resolved at that moment, nothing got resolved. But when I left the room, another person that was not even part of my party put out a suggestion. And the anointing of God was in those words. God put my answer of the power of God for us. He put it in another person's mouth and they heard it and they accepted it. And it turned everything that day. God did not even have to have me present in the room. I had already left the room. Why? Because God will use the one he chooses to use in that situation. And I'm not going to limit God and say it has to be me. I'm the one, though, that released faith in God's power. But it wasn't me who did it. It was God who did it. That way, even though it's our faith involved, our faith can't take any credit. Why? Because God's the one who fills our faith with his power and his actions he's the one that does it. And notice this. It was after I left the room that it even got. That it even got dealt with. And God put the answer in another man's mouth. Was he saved? Don't know. Did he show himself saved? Don't know. He never even said a word in that whole meeting while I was in there. But when I walked out of the room, he made a comment, and it turned everything to our favor. And just know this. When you bring in Christ into the situation, you don't have to. You don't have to be in flesh in that situation. That's what it means, part of what it means to be in Christ. Put him to work for you. Amen. Put him to work. I remember that my husband and I, God had spoken to us one time, and he said, I have another home for you. And it was eight years from the time he said it to the time we ended up buying that home that he was referring to. When it came time for us to buy it, my husband and I were not on the same page about it because the seller was asking a certain amount of money. My husband said, I don't want to pay that amount. And I said, well, I understand that. But I said, the man is not coming down on his price. And he said. He said, well, I'm not going to pay that. And I said, you know, I don't think that the amount of the house is the question we have to answer. I think what we have to answer is, did God say this is our house or not? That's the question that's to be answered. If it's not our house, we don't want to put any money toward it. But if it's our house, money's not the issue. If God says that's our house, then that's our house, regardless of what the man wants us, you know, would set as his asking price. So my husband said, I agree that this is our house. I said, good, then we're on the same page of that. Because we can't do anything in strife. We have to do it in agreement. And so I said to him, I said, okay, so we're on the same page that you believe and I believe that that's our house. Listen, when you need to come into agreement, forced agreement is not agreement. I can't. You can't? I can't. No one can force someone into agreement and call that agreement. That's not agreement. They have to, of their own free will, say, that's what I have in my heart. And I agree to it. That's where agreement is. It comes unforced. And so you can try to coerce and talk someone into it. That's not agreement. Now, sometimes in the talking, it helps people realize what's in their heart. And they might come into agreement because they see it. But I just knew this. I can't force this. So him and I both agreed, this is our house. We have peace that God is telling us this is our house. But we weren't in the same page about the price. So he said, I don't want to pay that price. I said, okay, I think that our previous home that we're selling is listed too low. I think we need to up that price. He said, I don't know about that. And I said, well, okay. I said, you pray about it. So I knew this. I cannot push him, because if I start pushing, strife is what we arrive at. And I said, God, this home is of you. You've told us it's for us, but I'm going to leave it to you. I'm going to do my part, but my part is not strife. So I'm going to trust you to get my husband and I on the same page and see, notice this. Get my husband and me, not just change him, not just change her right now. Pay attention to that. Because sometimes I need to change something. Even though I think my answer is right or you think your answer is right, way to God. If I need to change to get on the same page of your will and they need to change, let's both change. Let's hear what we need to do. Because what's the Word say we are changed from glory to glory. If we will make changes that God talks to us about, it will arrive us at glory, greater glory, manifestations of his glory. God. We needed God's involvement to even get in that house because we did not have the resources of our own to do it. But if I get into strife, I have just shut God out because I've left His flow. I've got to stay in the flow of God if I want his participation. If I want Christ to be in me, who he wants to be in me, I have to stay in his flow. What is his flow? The fruit of the Spirit is His flow. Love, joy, peace. I've got to stay in that flow. Otherwise he is shut out from participating. So good. So I just went aside and I said, God, I'm going to trust you. You talk to us. What would we need to change so that my husband and I get on the same page. God spoke to us. We got on the same page and God worked a miracle and he got it. He got that into our hands. This is what I want to say as one in Christ. There are some times we have to change something so that we make sure we're in his flow. So that we stay in the love flow. We stay out of the strife flow. We stay out of the conflicts flow. Amen. Listen, love is God's territory. We get off of love's territory and we have just left his flow In Christ. We stay in his flow. Amen. Too many times people think they won the argument, but what did it cost them? If I would have pushed it, if I would have gotten in strife, it would have cost me what God said was ours, which was at home. So know this. To stay in Christ is to stay in his flow. Amen. Well, we're ministering out of some of these in him scriptures that are so important for us to get on the inside of us. In this installment of her "In Christ I Can" series, Nancy Dufresne explores the practical realities and spiritual truths of living out one's identity in Christ. The episode centers on the limitless power available to believers, the importance of honoring the Word, operating from the spirit rather than the flesh, and applying "in Him" realities to everyday challenges—from healing to finances to relationships. Nancy draws from personal stories, biblical principles, and testimonies to illustrate the difference between striving in human strength and walking in Christ’s sufficiency.
