Thank you to Kenneth Copeland Ministries for sowing the airtime for this broadcast.

There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now. I receive it right now from the top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the Healer. And we are in the midst of a really wonderful series, and we're teaching basically in Christ truths. And I would title it In Christ. We Can Do It. And this is taken from a testimony that Brother Copeland gave. You probably heard me tell it, if you have been watching any of the episodes in this series. But when God spoke to Brother Copeland years ago in the 1970s, when Brother Copeland still had personal debt and when he was just learning the truths about prosperity, God spoke to him and said, I want you to sow a seed of $50,000 to Kenneth Hagin's ministry. And when Brother Copeland heard that command, he didn't automatically go to his financial statement. He didn't automatically go to his own personal needs, but he went automatically to in Christ. And this was his answer that he gave to God. He said, in Christ I have it, and in Christ I can give it. And he actually fulfilled that pledge because he recognized that God was not putting a demand on his own personal finances. He was putting a demand on Christ in him. And so we need to see this is that when God commands anything of us and he instructs us to do something, he does not intend that we do it apart from him. He is offering to fulfill it through us. Remember, Jesus made this statement. He said, my Father in me, he does the works. Jesus was just the one out moving among the people, giving God someone to manifest through. And that's what we have to remember in ourselves. We can't fulfill what we're born for, so we have the higher place to draw on. And that's on in Christ. I can do it in Christ. I have it. And I'm going to let Christ do it through me. Well, if that's the case, then we have to have in Christ talk. That's right. Amen. We have to have in Christ thoughts of God's not asking me to fulfill this. God's asking me to allow him to. To fulfill it through me. And so this is a renewed mind. We invite you go to our website@jesusthehealer.org and you can download for free. We have a smaller pamphlet here of in him scriptures. There are maybe 20 to 30 of our favorite in him verses that say in Christ, in Him, in whom or through whom. These are what we call in him verses. Or we have a complete listing, about 130, 140 verses and they're all typed out for you. But you get hold of those, download those and print them out. And we say this, meditate on those, speak those. And once you do that, can I tell you, a poor self image is gone. That's right. Many times people are trying to feel good about who they are in the natural and we'll come up short, but we're not to know ourselves basically just after the natural man, but who we are in Christ. So we invite you go back and watch any previous episodes in this series because we want you to. We want you to discover all that belongs to you because he's in you and you're in Him. Amen. And I want to read to you something. This has been one of our keynote scriptures during this passage or during this series rather. It's Colossians chapter two and verse six. And the living Bible says this. And now, just as you trusted Christ to save you, trust him too. For each day's problems. Listen, in Christ is not a Sunday situation. It's for every day he is in us. Every day. God's ability in us, the greater one in us. So that we lean and draw and rely upon Him. You say, well, Pastor Nancy, how do I draw on Him? Obey Him. Everything he tells you to do, do. And you'll find that that's how you respond to Him. So he says, trust him too. For each day's problems, live in vital union with Him. What's that mean? Ongoing fellowship throughout the day that turn your attention toward Him. Start out in the day with your attention toward him and keep your attention toward. Turn him. Turn toward him all day long. What does that do? The what you're mindful of is what you're opening the door to, who your attention is on and what your attention is on is what you're opening the door to. So we need to train ourselves to be in Christ minded. And then verse 7 says this. Let your Roots grow down into him and draw nourishment from Him. See, this is all about him, us, establishing in us the truth of who we are in Him. Then verse nine, a few verses down, it reads, for in Christ there is all of God in a human body, that's you. All of God in a human body. Why would we tap just the mental arena or just the physical side of us when we have God as our resource, God as the One to lean on and draw on. Verse 10 says this. So you have everything when you have Christ. Meaning what's this? You're not left without anything you're going to need in this life. At your disposal is everything. The plan of God calls for everything your life calls for everything his commands tell you to do. It's all in Christ. He intends to fulfill it and do it through you. But if we think first of our own resources, our own abilities, our own education, our own social standing, all these natural things, we cheat ourselves because those are lower flows. But God offers us Himself as our, as our drawing place. And he's in us. So again, verse 10 says so you have everything when you have Christ. And you are filled with God through your union with Christ. So notice this. This belong. Everything of God that belongs to us belongs because we're in union with Him. We're one with Him. What's that mean? This is not a performance based flow. Meaning I can't do enough to earn who I am in Christ. Because Jesus brought us into oneness with the Father. I can't do anything to earn all that belongs to me in Christ. Now listen, when we miss it, we should repent absolutely we repent. But notice this. When we miss it, God doesn't withdraw who Christ is in us. He doesn't withdraw anything. But when we step out of when we step into sin, what we do is we hinder the flow of who he can be in us. Repentance puts us back in the flow where God can flow and move unhindered through us. This is not a performance based inheritance. It is based on who he is one with the Father. And he brought us into that same oneness because we're in him now. Because we're in him, we're empowered to live right. We're empowered to live righteous. We are empowered to live holy. We're empowered to live in a way that is of the highest flow. So when we realize we're in him, we. We refuse to go into a lesser flow and cheat our lives out of that in Christ flow. That's right. Now in teaching on this, in this series, I mean, my spirit has been so thrilled going this direction. Because if this is so foundational in the life of the believer, if we don't get the revelation of this and don't establish this in us, we will struggle unnecessarily. Bad self images, poor self images come from not establishing this in us. Competition, competing, being jealous, all of these things of comparing self with somebody else. That comes from not being established in who we are in him. I want to share something that God woke me up in the middle of the night just a couple nights ago talking about this series that I'm teaching. And he reminded me of Peter. You know, Peter, of course, was one of the 12 disciples that Jesus called to follow him. You know what Peter's response? He was so quick to respond. That's one thing I love about Peter. He was the first, if we could say this, he was a first responder. He was always at the front of his response. He was a man of action. He was a man who was a doer. But because he was a first responder, he was the first to respond right. And sometimes he was the first to respond wrong because he was a man. That was all in we know this, that Jesus was telling his disciples. He talked about, I'm going to be arrested, I'm going to be killed. He unfolded as he could a little bit of what the plan of God held for him. And Peter says, oh no. He said, no, none of that will happen to you. And he tried to tell Jesus, no, you won't be the savior of the world. Remember when Jesus said, I'm going to be arrested. And Jesus took him aside and he said, get thee behind me, Satan. Well, Peter meant well, but he thought wrong. And he was the. He was the first to speak up and get rebuked about that. But Jesus also said, he said, they're going to smite the shepherd and the sheep will scatter. Talking about these disciples, Peter said, not me, I won't scatter. And Jesus basically said this to, to Peter. The Lord said, simon, Simon, because that was his name also Simon. Behold, Satan hath desired to have you that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for thee that thy faith fail not, and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. Now I want to read this out of the living Bible translation. Jesus spoke and said, simon, Simon, Satan has asked to have you to sift you like wheat. But I have pleaded in prayer for you that your faith should not completely fail. So when you have repented and Turned to me again. Strengthen and build up the faith of your brothers. And then the Amplified classic says this. Simon, Simon Peter, listen. Satan has asked excessively for all of you to be given him, to be given up to him out of the power and keeping of God. Notice this. The power of God keeps all of his people. You had the keeping power of God around you. And so Satan was asking for him to be able to infiltrate that keeping line, to come in on these 12 disciples. And Jesus said that Satan has asked excessively that all of you be given up to him out of the power and keeping of God, that he might sift all of you like grain. But I have prayed especially for you, Peter. So notice this. The devil's going to attack all 12 disciples. But he notices that Peter is going to falter in a way that the others aren't. And he says, but I have prayed especially for you, Peter, that your own faith may not fail. Listen, you need your own faith. Don't try to live under the umbrella of someone else's faith. You need your own faith. Don't live under your spouse's faith, your pastor's faith, your parents faith, the faith of someone in your home. You need your own faith. Listen, if I had not have had my own faith, what if I was living under just the faith of my husband? There was a day that he left unexpectedly the earth. If I had not had my own faith, things would have come out differently than they did. And it's not that my faith is great, but I'm just saying we need to have our own fellowship with God, our own walk with God. We need to. We need to know how to believe him for ourselves. And so Jesus said, peter, he said, I prayed especially for you, that your own faith may not fail. And when you yourself have turned again, strengthen and establish your brethren. God spoke to me when he woke me up the other morning and he brought this. Peter's denial almost disqualified him. He was at the edge of losing or turning his back, rejecting the plan of God. And he got so close to turning his back on the plan of God. But notice, once you repent, it's all back yours. And God said to me the other night, he said, all that has ever been yours in Christ is still yours in Christ, no matter how bad you've missed it. Now listen to that. All that's ever been yours in Christ is still yours in Christ, no matter how bad you missed it. If you will repent, then you can flow with who you are in Christ. It all hinges on repentance. When we missed it, we have to repent. We don't act like, oh, well, that's not a big thing. No, we acknowledge where we missed God. We acknowledge where we disobeyed. And if we do, all that's in Christ will be there to strengthen us. All that's in Christ. God withdraws and withholds none of what belongs to us just because we missed it. If will repent. So the living Bible, again, Jesus said to him, when you have repented and turn to me again, strengthen and build up the faith of your brothers. And God was saying to me, when somebody has come so close to stepping so close to out of what God has for them, turning their back on it like Peter did, they will know especially how to strengthen and establish someone else. Because they were there. They were. At that point when you realize how close you missed, how close you came to missing God's best you go, oh, I can. I can help you. I can help you. Don't go there. I've been there. Or I can tell you how to come back from that place. So he said to Peter, you're going to have an ability to convert, strengthen and establish in the faith, the brethren, because you came this far or this close to leaving the plan of God for your life. So Peter's denial, when did this happen? Remember, Jesus was arrested. Peter's following John. They're following from afar and around Jesus place of arrest. There's some people say, wait, I recognize you. You were with him talking about Peter being with Jesus. And Jesus is under arrest now. He's under trial. He sees what's happening and he denies, no, no, no, no, I'm not with him. He denied him three times. And then Jesus prophesied to him, he said, before the cock crows three times, you'll deny me. Oh, no, not me. But when the cock crowed, he realized that came to pass. Jesus heard that same rooster. He knew, peter's just denied me three times. Can you imagine the shame, the regret, the lamenting of that? And you know how the devil would have taken advantage? Because remember, he came to Jesus and said, I want him. I want to sift him like wheat. Peter said, Jesus said, especially you, Peter. He wants you. And why? Is it because there's a greatness of God's plan associated with Peter. And the devil's after the plan. The devil's not after you. Apart from the plan. He wants you. And he wants the plan to fail. That's what he's after. He wants your faith to fail. He wants the plan of God to be lost to your life. But if you will just say, I've missed it. If you've missed it, be quick to acknowledge it. And I guarantee you Jesus said, I've given you assignment, Peter, when you repent. He knew he'd repent. He knew he'd turn. And he said, when you do, now go establish. Go strengthen. Because you're going to be able to strengthen your brethren in a way others won't. Because you know what it's like to miss it. Oh, that's good, right? Amen. Strengthen and establish those. Now listen, when he said, strengthen your brethren, what's that mean? There's others who have lost strength. They've missed it so bad that they've lost hope that maybe the plan of God is lost in my life. No, it's not. I said, no, it's not. No, it is not. If you will acknowledge, Father, I want your plan. I repent for where I missed it. I guarantee you the wholeness of what God planned for you is still in place. Who you are in Christ still belongs to you. No matter how much you missed it, how long you missed it. It can be years that you've missed it, decades that you've missed it. And the devil wants to come and paint no hope for you. That part of the plan of God is forfeited for your life. No, it isn't. Why? Because God's plan is greater than the devil's opposition. And God's plan is greater than your mess. It's greater than your sin. Because the blood of Jesus, once you repent, puts it back as though you never missed it. Amen. Peter knew what it was like to be at a weak point in faith. That's why Jesus said, you'll strengthen the faith of your brethren. Why? Because he knew what it was like to be at that weakened place. Amen. Peter became a central figure in the early days of the church. Now, notice, days later, here, Peter denies Jesus. He repents of that. Think about Judas. Judas wasn't restored. Why was Judas not restored? One reason he didn't repent. He could have been restored if he'd repented. He didn't. He went back after he had been paid money to turn Jesus into the religious leaders. He was paid off. Remember, he went back to the temple and he threw the money at those religious leaders. He regretted what he did, but he never repented for what he did. Regret is not enough. We have to repent. We have to acknowledge we did it wrong, not just wish we had done better. It's not Regret that gets the job done. It's repentance. And so Judas. We have no report, no record that Judas ever repented. Peter did. They did the same thing. They rejected Jesus. They denied Jesus. But one repented and one didn't. And look at the outcome after Peter repented. Now remember, Peter denied Jesus three times. What do I want you want to say to this? Repent and watch God restore. I said repent and watch God restore. I'm just talking about if you need to repent. Not everyone needs to repent. But I just know that when people lose hope, they're looking at where they missed it. When they lose, when the devil points and accuses that they can't fulfill the will of God and the plan of God now because they've missed it so many times, so bad. No. Repent and watch God restore. God runs to restoration. He delights to restore. He delights to put back that which you thought was lost. He delights in that. You may have laid down your faith in the past. Pick it back up. It's still there. You may have laid down who you are in Christ. Pick it back up. God did not withdraw all that belongs to you in Christ just because you missed it. This is not a performance based inheritance. It's based on Christ and him alone. On what Christ did in Christ fulfilled everything. So none of it is withheld from you. Now notice Peter denied Jesus three times. Do you know that Jesus helped Peter set that right? How did he do it? Remember, he appeared to them after his resurrection. And Jesus was with the disciples. On one occasion he turns to him and he said, peter, do you love me? He said, you know I love you. Acknowledgement number one to offset rejection number one. Denial number one. And Jesus said, feed my lambs. Then he said, peter, do you love me? He said, you know I love you. He said, then tend. Take care of my sheep. Then he said, peter, do you love me? You know I love you. Then feed my sheep. What was that? He led him into acknowledging him three times because he had denied him three times. Wow. He helped him into the place of restoration. Because Peter repented, he wanted to do right. So know this. No matter how much you've done it wrong, God delights when you just repent. And he'll help you do it right. Jesus helped Peter acknowledge him. He didn't force him to, but he helped him acknowledge, you know I love you. He asked questions of him. Do you love me? He helped him acknowledge him. Amen. Isn't Jesus good? Now think about it. Let's Talk about the prodigal son real quick. He missed it, but he caught himself. He had run away from the father. He had lived in a way that was against his father's house. And he acknowledged he. He recognized it. Says when he came to himself, he went back to repent. What happened when he just came in proximity of where his father lived, his father ran to meet him. His father was not ashamed to out in the open, let everybody see. I run to meet you on your way to repentance. You just turn to repent and God will turn toward you. I mean, even before he had repented, the father had already run toward him. And so he ran to repentance. And then the father put the ring on him, put the coat on him, killed the fatted calf and had a party. What did he do? He took it public. That's good. He did not try and shame my son. I know the way he's lived. I'm embarrassed. The father had no shame because the father was not focused on the sin. He was focused on the forgiveness. There's no shame in forgiveness. And so the father put on public display. This is my son. He's back. And I want you to know he wanted the public to know I identify with him. He's my son. I'm his father. There was just no hiding from the public that this is, you know, a private thing. No, no, no. He threw a big party. There was absolutely celebration on the part of the Father. I want you to know, no matter how ma. How bad you've missed it. The Father delights to put it back on you notice when the prodigal son came back, the Father put on him the things of the family. The ring, the robe and the party. What is it? The honor of the family. The Lord is good and his mercy endures forever. Everything that has been yours in Christ is still yours in Christ. And when we repent after we've missed it, that puts us back to the place where we can enjoy who we are in Christ unhindered. Amen. We don't act like we didn't miss it. We take full responsibility and we let the blood cleanse us. And we go on as though we never missed it. And we live as one in Christ. That's what I want to say to you. Let live as one in Christ. No matter how bad you miss it, how long you put down your faith instead of picking it up, live as one in Christ. Amen. Well, you don't want to miss upcoming episodes. Until next time. Remember this. Jesus is the healer God bless you.

Episode 785: In Christ I Can, Part 25 (July 4, 2025)
In this episode, Nancy Dufresne continues her foundational teaching on "In Christ Realities," focusing on the believer’s identity, authority, grace, and restoration in Jesus. Rooted in scripture and practical examples, she emphasizes how all sufficiency and power are found not in ourselves, but in our union with Christ. The lesson illustrates that repentance fully restores us—no matter how far we may have missed it—and that our inheritance in Christ is never forfeited due to failure, only hindered until we turn back.
[00:10]
"That power is there to do a work. Believe in what's not—try to get something—but notice he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at." (Nancy Dufresne, 00:18)

"There was just no hiding from the public that this is...a private thing. No, no, no. He threw a big party. There was absolutely celebration on the part of the Father." (Nancy Dufresne, 26:00)
Nancy Dufresne teaches in a warm, direct, and scripturally rich style. She blends personal testimony, Bible exposition, and empathetic encouragement. Her tone is consistently uplifting, compassionate, and full of faith—never condemning or harsh, always focusing on hope, restoration, and the exceeding riches believers have in Christ.
