There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the healer. We invite you get something to take notes on, get your Bible, follow along with us as we turn to the Word or as we quote the Word. We just expect that God's going to say something to you. And whether I say it or not, God is free to say it. Amen. And so we don't want you to miss anything that God would say to you. We want you to take note of that. We have been in a series. My, my, my. I've been enjoying it so much. And I'm so glad that we came onto this broadcast teaching this topic and that you're joining it because I'm getting so much out of it, you know, and we' if I could say this, we're just, we're just starting out and seeing where the Holy Ghost leads us. And it has been, I hope, diverse for you in the sense of answering questions for different arenas of your life. And so we invite you go back and watch any previous episodes you may have missed. We're just really teaching on in Christ and who we are in Christ because we're in Christ. We can do it because we're in Christ. We have it because we're in Christ. God can work and manifest through us. Amen. And so to be in Christ is the most important thing for the believer. And what I mean by that, we are in him now. Let's live that way. Why? Because to live in Christ, to live as one in Christ is to live as rich as we are. And we never really understand how far reaching that wealth is. I mean, because the Word is a living thing. Jesus is a living one. And as long as he continues to live, there's no end. He's eternal. God's eternal. That means we never reach the end of Revelation. We never reach the end of what belongs to us in Christ because it's limitless. Amen. God is unlimited. There's no limits. You know, when people say, and it's not wrong to say this, but think of it in these terms. When people say the sky is the limit, well, the sky is a limit. But for the God, even a sky is not a limit for him. And so we are unlimited in God. Amen. And in Christ. So let's live in that flow rather than in the limits that we grew up around. God offers us more. Amen. We have been looking. One of our, I guess you would say our golden text that we have taken throughout the different episodes in this series is found in Colossians chapter two and verse six. And I'm going to read out of the living Bible translation, it says this. And now, just as you trusted Christ to save you, that's you. You know, can I tell you this? Sometimes we can look at something we're believing God for and we can think, wow, that's a big need. Can I tell you, you've already believed for the biggest need, and that was receiving salvation. So you have faith enough for the biggest need your life will ever face. So what's that mean? Every other need you can believe for. Amen. And now, just as you trusted Christ to save you, trust him to look at this for each day's problems. He doesn't want to be left out of the daily flow of your life. Who we are in Christ is not just a Sunday situation. It's not just for who we are at church. It's who we are every single day. Trust him too, for each day's problems. Live in vital union with Him. What's that mean? Fellowship with him all the time. I like this word, vital. What's that mean? You can't do without it. You can't do without it. If you will ever see someone maybe who is a very public person, maybe a person sometimes, whether it's politicians or it's some kind of other kind of very person, when they go out in public, sometimes they will put on what they call a vest. That is. What am I? Help me. A bulletproof. Thank you. A bulletproof vest. You know where they don't put that bulletproof vest? On the arms, the legs. Why? They're not vital. Where do they. Where do they put it? Over the vital organs. What? Why is that? Because it's vital that that organ be protected, right? It's vital that you not lose that organ. And so this is what they're going to protect is the vital organs. Why? Because you can't live without it. Here it says we are to live in vital union. Our fellowship with him is vital to who we are in Christ. We cannot just be, if I could say this, mindless in our fellowship, not even noticing that we need his fellowship throughout the day. It's vital to living the life he authored for us. It is a vital characteristic of our spiritual life to live in ongoing fellowship with Him. How do we do that? We turn our attention to Him. We acknowledge him all throughout the day. Can I tell you something? You're always acknowledging something. There's never a time you're not acknowledging something. Sometimes you're acknowledging the circumstances. Sometimes you're acknowledging the opposition, the thoughts that come against the mind. Sometimes you're acknowledging the Word. Sometimes you're acknowledging something God's done in your life. But learn to purge and pay attention to what you acknowledge, who you acknowledge. The one you acknowledge is the one you're giving permission to. When our attention is on the wrong thing, the wrong flow, we're giving the wrong flow permission just by turning our attention there. There is a pastor friend of mine that he used to teach in a well known Bible school in what they called their healing school. And so to when he was an instructor in the healing school, they had put guidelines with that classroom that you had to be sick, in need of healing to even get in the room. They didn't just want attenders, they wanted people who were, if I could say this, they came to receive. They didn't just come to attend, they came to receive because they had such a personal need of healing. So for a period of time to attend that class, you had to be in need of healing. And when this pastor friend of mine, he got up to teach, he had a vision one day as he was teaching the healing school. And in the vision he saw every person in that room with their arms wrapped tightly around their bodies like this, and they're holding their body. And he said to God, what am I seeing? And he said, the reason these are not receiving their healing is because they're holding to their symptoms. And he and the pastor said to God, he said, what do you mean they're holding to their symptoms? They did not come to healing school to hold to their symptoms. They came because they wanted to receive healing. And God spoke to him and said, well, what their attention is on is what they're holding to. What does that mean? Their attention was on their symptoms. What we hold in our attention is what we're giving Permission to in our life. So good. Now, who knew that our healing was as easy as turning our attention to the healer? You can't live healed thinking about your symptoms. You can't receive healing thinking about your body. What we put our attention on is what flows. Amen. As we put our attention on the Word, the healing word. Let's talk about someone needing healing, then feed on the healing word. Don't feed on a scripture that doesn't direct you toward healing. If you're in need of healing, be streamlined in your study based on your need. If I could say it to you this way. Sometimes people get up in their devotional time and they say, you know, there's. So listen, the word of God is vast, right? It covers every need of every human ever born. Think of that. That's vast. So how do I feed in a way that feeds my life? Well, what are you in need of? Feed in that direction. Why? So that you can get your attention full of what God says about that need. Instead of your attention being on the need, get your attention on what God says about the need. So if you're in need of healing, fill your devotional time with healing scriptures. If you're in need of finances, fill your devotional time with that. I'm not saying you can't feed on anything else. I'm saying at least start that direction. Start the direction of your need. But then have you noticed this, that sometimes we think we have a need in one direction. And come to find out the root of that need is way over here in another direction. Let me clarify. Here. This studio right here is in Texas. One thing Texas is known for is access roads. The audience here laughs. Nothing wrong with access roads. It's just a different system than what not every state has that set up. An access road gets you closer to where you're wanting. If there's a store, a location, you can't just stay on the highway and reach that store. You have to go in most. Not in all cases, but in most cases, you have to get on an access road that leads you right up to that. To that location. God does the same thing is that. Who knew that Texas was like God in their road system, but God, many times we think, I have a financial need. And you start talking to God about that financial need and all, and he starts talking to you about your marriage. And you go, no, no, no, I know, I'm married. Right? Good. Yeah, that's good. But I'm talking to you about the financial need and you're talking to me. About my marriage. Let's go back to my need, my financial need. And God says, I am talking to you about your financial need. It's an access road to the answer. Right? We think that our need is in one direction and, and he knows the problem that why it's showing up over here. The source of that problem began over here. You're having a financial problem because of your marriage problem. That's good. There's strife in the marriage or not walking in love in the marriage, or you're being selfish in your marriage and it's showing up in your finances. Just because a need shows up in an arena doesn't mean that's the arena that needs the attention. That's why you have the Holy Ghost to help guide you to your answer, because he will lead you to address the root of the problem while you're trying to address your wallet. So good. Amen. Sometimes it is strictly a financial need, but sometimes one arena's need will show up in the finances. Well, let me tell you, Let me tell you another arena that will demonstrate a need, and that is the physical arena. That if something is out of place in the love arena, the faith arena, that will show up in the physical arena. Now, do we have scripture for that? Well, what about 3 John 1:2. Beloved, I wish above all things thou mayest prosper and be in health. Look at this. Even as thy soul prospers. We could read it this way and still be correct. Beloved, I wish above all things thou mayest prosper and be in health to the measure that your soul prospers. So many times people think when they're behind in health, when they're behind in finances, it's a financial problem and it's a physical problem. But here John is revealing it's a soul problem. What's that mean? It's a renewing of the mind problem. Something has to be fixed in the way we think if our finances are going to flourish. Something has to be fixed in the way we think if our health is going to flourish in Christ belongs to us, the genius of the Holy Ghost, to lead us so that we know what to fix in the soulish arena, so that the financial and the physical arena are addressed. Praise God. When people fall behind financially, many times what they do, they increase their work hours when they need to increase their time in the word to change their soul, to renew their mind. Now Paul calls taking on the thoughts of God in Acts. Excuse me, In Romans, chapter 12, verse 2, he calls that the renewing of the mind. John is Calling it the prospering of the soul. David in Psalm 23, he called it the restoring of the soul. He restores my soul. Remember, the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul. How's he going to restore our soul? Not apart from us. We don't just go to bed one night with a troubled mind, a troubled soul, and wake up and it's fixed. No, we fed the Word into our thought life. And by feeding the Word, He. He restores our soul. As we take in the Word and become a doer of it, so our soul is restored to the measure that we're a doer of the Word. And that's how he restores our soul. If we, if we choose not to be a doer of the Word, he can't restore the soul because he can only restore the soul through the doing of the Word. So David calls it the restoring of the soul. John calls it the prospering of the soul. Paul calls it the renewing of the mind. It's all the same thing. It's all the same thing. They're talking about the same thing. They're talking about taking on God's way of thinking. Now let's go back to third John 1:2. Beloved, I wish above all things, thou mayst prosper and be in health, even as you take on God's way of thinking. Oh, that's good. That's what it means. So money problems are God's way of thinking problems. We're not thinking like him. Physical problems are God's way of thinking problems. We have to address something in the soul when we're going to deal with something financially and when we're going to deal with something physically. The world without Christ is trying to fix their finances through their wallet, through increasing work hours. And God says, come over and spend time with me. Take on my thoughts, because I've already made you rich and there's no sorrow in it. Now when you start thinking in terms of how I made you in Christ. In Christ you are rich. Listen, it's not money that makes you rich. It's in Christ is your wealth. You're prosperous because of who you're in and who's in you. You're not prosperous because your paycheck money never made any believer prosperous. That's why many Christians miss it, because they think they're trying to get prosperous. We're trying to earn more money. You're in Christ. The wealth of God is in you all he is all he has all he does in you. Now when you start thinking in those terms, you quit struggling to be prosperous. You realize, my wealth is Him. When I draw on Him, I'm drawing on the wealth of heaven. I can't have bills unpaid when his thoughts are mine. I can't have bills falling behind when I think like Him. Can't do it. Amen. So many times when people fall behind financially, they try to increase their work hours. When we need to increase time in thinking like him, that means, what's that mean, Pastor? I need to be in church. I'm going to quit missing church for work. That's why people many times have financial problems. They're trying to fix the their financial need with work hours. When John told us, it's the restoring of the soul, it's the prospering of the soul, it's taking on God's way of thinking that fixes that financial problem. When my husband went home to be with the Lord, I needed immediately large sums to keep things on track. And my daddy was so precious. He would call me every day and he'd say, baby, you need money? Sure I needed money. And I said, no, Daddy, I don't. He said, well, you let me know if you need money. And he'd say, and he had a certain large amount, you know, that he already had just saved in cash. He says, I'll send it to you today, baby, you need that. I'll send it to you today. I told my brothers and sisters, you better thank me because he offered me your inheritance daily. And I said, God, I said, no, I don't need it. I don't need it. I didn't need it from him. I didn't need what he offered me. Why it would never be enough. What we need in life, no man can supply. Why? Because our numbers run out. And if I start practicing leaning and looking to someone else to step in and offer me relief, I'm going to forfeit victory. If I would have taken that money from Daddy, there might have been relief for the mind, but I would have suffered defeat by not having the victory of heavenly prosperity flowing. Now, how did. Let me, let me talk a little bit more about that. When he would call and say, do you need money? I'd say, no, Daddy. Why? Because I told God the day my husband went home to be with the Lord, no man's my help. And I did not even treat my husband like, you owe me something. You owe it to take care of me. No, he doesn't owe it to me. I have a savior. I had a savior when I had a husband. Now that I'm a widow, I still have a savior. And none of that's changed. None of the care. I didn't. If I could say this naturally speaking. You talk naturally in terms we understand. They'll talk about a single income home or double income home. There was a double income into our home in the sense of I received a paycheck, my husband received a paycheck, there was a double income. But when my husband left, I never looked at myself as now I'm a single income home. I'm a heavenly provided for home. Praise God. The Word tells us, God said to the widow, he said, I'm the husband of the widow. I'm the husband of the widow, brother. I spent that card every day of my life before heaven. I said, I said to God, I said, God, my husband was so generous with me. There was never a time that I wanted something that he did not make that his assignment. Therefore, I did not abuse that. Though I was sincere in that I never took advantage of that. But that's how generous my husband was to me. He was not tight fisted with me or his family. Why? Because he doesn't have to be tight fisted. And so I said to God, the day my husband left, I said, you know, changed addresses. I said, God, I said, my husband was so generous with me. And I said, you won't be outdone by a man, will you? That's good. And that's the way I approached it. That's the way I looked at it. So when my dad would call me and he'd say, honey, do you need money? I'd say, no. Why? Because I'm not going to lean on people. The more we lean on people, that's the portion in the flow of God we're not leaning on. And I need God's flow more than I need what people can give me. If we become disappointed in people, it's our own fault. You want to know why we were leaning on them when we should have been leaning on God for everything. Everything. Wives never put it on your husband. Well, you're the provider of this home. No, God's the provider of this home. The husband is the head of the home. That doesn't mean that the husband is just a tyrant in that home, demanding everything his way. Being head of the home means I lead my home into the abundance of God. I lead my home in believing God. I lead my home in receiving from God and moving with God. That's the way I lead my family. It's like Joshua said. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. That's what being head of the home means, that you demand that the flow of that house is in keeping with God's word and his plan. And so my husband was never my provider. So when he left, I did not run to my daddy to be my provider, because I hadn't even been looking to my husband to be my provider. Why would I look to a man to be my provider? When God offers himself in Christ, I have everything I need. I didn't become a single income home. I became a heavenly supplied home. And we were that before my husband left. Amen. This is called right thinking. Yeah. If finances trouble us, it's because we're invited to higher thinking. We're invited to thoughts of the Word instead of financial thoughts, we take on word thoughts. Why? The Word is the cure for lack, not money. Money's not the cure for lack. Can I tell you this? Money comes, money goes, the covenant remains. Praise God. The covenant is unchanging. And so when John said, I wish above all things, thou mayest prosper and be in health, look at this. To the measure that you think right, that's the degree of our prosperity. That's the degree of our health. If we're struggling financially, we're invited to higher thoughts, not to more money, to higher thoughts. Higher thinking will open the door to greater provision, a greater flow of finances. If we're finding ourselves dealing with physical issues repeatedly, it's not about trying to get God to heal us. It's coming into higher thoughts of he's already made me the healed. Can I tell you this? Many times people need healing because they lack obeying something that God told them to do. It's not a physical issue, it's an obedience issue sometimes. And you can't throw healing scriptures at disobedience and get healed. That's right. Now notice that you cannot throw healing scriptures, the confession of healing scriptures, when we're standing on the ground in disobedience and think those healing scriptures can heal us. When it's obedience that's called for. Amen. Now see, how do you know that? It's what John said. As your soul prospers, you learn this. Amen. Well, we're talking about in Christ, what belongs to us in Christ. God thoughts thinking. Right? And when we have God thoughts, every. Every other arena of our life reflects God thoughts. Prosperity shows God thoughts. Health shows God thoughts. Amen. Peace in the home. Shows God thoughts children that are peaceful. That's because of God thoughts getting their place in our home. Amen. Thank God for the Word we're learning, aren't we? In Christ, every arena is at its best. Amen. Well, we invite you to join us. Next time we're going to continue along this direction. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

This episode is an empowering call to shift from striving to rest, from scarcity to fullness, by recognizing what it truly means to be "in Christ."
