There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now. I receive it right now from the top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the Healer. And we are in the middle of a series. And I'm thoroughly being blessed by what God is, what God's bringing out for us. And I trust that you're receiving something in these episodes. If you have not been able to watch them all, go back and watch previous episodes. Because can I tell you this, even if you have watched them, watch them again, if there's particularly one that seems to speak real strongly to you, don't just be content with one hearing. Know this full faith never comes with one hearing. We have to hear and hear because faith will continue to grow and come as we hear over and over and over. I remember one particular time I was facing a test, and it was maybe 30 or so years ago. And it was something physically that I was believing God for. And there was one message that I would listen to of dad Hagin. Kenneth Hagin was our spiritual father, and he was preaching one message on calling those things which be not as though they were. And I listened to that thing. It had to be at least 50, 60 times. I mean, I could quote virtually the entire thing with him. But at the end of this, listening over and over and over, I recognized the symptoms have left. And I don't know when they left. What was it? The water of the Word washed them out. And the more we hear this word, the more it moves and works in us. And so when something speaks to you in a very specific way, that's basically, if I could say this, discern that there's an assignment on that one. Hear it again, keep feeding that direction because it holds further revelation for you. And sometimes you don't even know why something is speaking to you because it might not be a need that you facing at that moment. And you go some reason this verse is standing up to me, and I'm not sure what it's connected to. If you'll just keep feeding it, you'll realize that God's stocking the shelves of your life for something you're going to face. And then you've already got the answer in place. And so thank God for the Word. It waters our life. You know, the Word tells us, Jesus said In John, chapter 15, he said, now are you made clean through the word I have spoken unto you? Look at that. Now you are made clean through the Word I have spoken unto you. So what's this mean? Every time we feed on the Word, it cleans. It cleanses something. What about this? Cleanses out symptoms, cleanses out aches, pains. What about this? Cleanses out old troubling memories. I mean, it just. It does its cleansing work. When something has a spot, you know, in your own household, sometimes you'll send it through the wash cycle more than once. Why? Because you washed it once and it became lighter. That stain removed mostly, but there's still a trace of it. What'd you do? You wash it. You just put it through the cycle again. The washing of the water, of the Word is not just accomplished once. Keep on, just keep going. And it will completely. It will completely rewrite the story of your life. Amen. And so listen to these episodes over and over again. When something speaks to you, it holds something your life needs. Amen. Well, we have been ministering in the direction of talking about in Christ and what that means, because, my goodness, the mind cannot even measure all that that means. To be in Christ means to be in what's unlimited. There's no limits on God. There's nothing limited about Him. And when we start drawing on in Christ, we just drew on the limitless flow. Now, Christ is in us, and we are in him. But it's up to us to put him to work for us. It's up to us to respond to him, to draw on Him. How do we do that? Well, number one, we acknowledge that he's in us to work through us. But not only that, we have to obey what he tells us to do because we can't respond to him apart from obeying what he says to do. Right. I want to read to you. It's been our golden text throughout this series, and that's found in Colossians, chapter two. And listen, there's so many verses, my goodness, there's around 130 or so verses that talk to us about who we are in Christ. Go and feed on those. In fact, we're making it easy for you because on our website we have uploaded a document you can download and you can print it out. One of them is just a small in him booklet, and it has some of our favorite in him scriptures, maybe about 20 or 30 of them. You can easily print it out, throw it in your purse, throw it in your vehicle and keep it with you. But we also have a complete listing of about 130, 140 Scriptures that say, say in Him. Because there's so much that's revealed in these, we haven't tried to get into all of those. We're just kind of camping on some central verses and we're just following what the Holy Ghost draws out for us because he's prescribing something for us each and every day in these episodes. But Colossians chapter 2, verse 6 is one that has just stood out to me for us. And we've made it our golden text in this series. And I'm going to read it out of the living Bible translation reads. And now, just as you trusted Christ to save, you trust him too, for each day's problems. Live in vital union with Him. Well, what's that referring to? It's talking about living in continual fellowship with him every day. So to live in Christ is not just a Sunday situation. It's a daily thing. And I appreciate the wording here when it says, live in vital union with Him. Our fellowship with him every day is vital to our lives, to walking out who we are in Christ and receiving of who he is in our life. Then verse seven says, let your roots grow down into him and draw up nourishment from Him. Notice these passages are about him, right? And who he is in us. And what he wants to be involved in every day is every single situation of our life. Then verse nine it says, for in Christ there is all of God in a human body. My think of that. In Christ there is all. All of God in a human body. Look at this. None of God has been withheld from us. Praise God. And because none of God has been withheld, none of Heaven's been withheld. Everything that heaven is enjoying, we have full access to. Amen. And then verse 10 says, so you have everything when you have Christ. What's that mean? Quit looking out here for your help. Quit looking to something of your own physical being, of your own mental being. Because when you have Christ, everything you need is already attached to your life. So what's this mean? Sometimes we need to recognize that we need to not. If I could say this, turn this way toward heaven, but turn toward the Christ in us. Turn toward the greater One in us, the Holy Ghost in us. And quit waiting for God to send something down, because he already filled us with himself. So having him, we have everything. Now I remember. I remember there was something that God said to me. It was a piece of equipment for this ministry that we were needing. And it was a large piece, an expensive piece. And God said to me, someone's going to give you that piece of equipment. And so I was saying, I was just keeping my faith on that. And I said, God, I thank you that someone's going to give us the piece of equipment. And that's what I would say. Thank you that someone is going to give us the piece of equipment. And one day God said to me, he said, don't focus on that. Someone's going to give it. Focus on that I already gave it, he said, because I've already given. That's why they will give what I have already given to you. Meaning this. They're simply the channel. I'm the source it came from. So what's he talking about? Leave the middleman out of your confession. Because know this, the Word tells us God will bless us through the hands of men. So God's going to involve men, but God's the one that's the source. They're simply the channel. Don't magnify the channel. Don't magnify the avenue God uses. Appreciate the avenue, but don't magnify the avenue. Because the avenue isn't your source. He's your source. Amen. And so God said to me, when I was believing God, I was saying, father, thank you that someone's going to give this equipment. Now notice I was really focusing on someone. And God knew that. Now, see, God told me, someone's going to give it to you, but not so I could focus on the someone, but so I could focus on God is the one that gave that command. Amen. So in Christ, we're not focused on avenues, we're focused on Him. He's the giver of everything. Notice what it says here in verse 10. So you have. You have everything. You have everything. You have everything. What's that mean? He's already given it. You do not have to coerce God into giving you something he's already made all yours. Now, why is it that it looks like some Christians have more than other Christians? Because some Christians drew on what they already had when others are still waiting for it to arrive. Notice that, yes, it may take time for things to manifest, but God had already given us that piece of equipment. It was just a matter of time before that thing manifested into our hands. So don't focus on the time frame until something's going to show up. Don't focus on the avenue. Focus on. It's already given. Therefore, I can rest. Why? God's already released it from his treasury. God's already released it as part of my covenant. He has already made it mine. So this is the way. Whenever we have symptoms in our body, pain in our body, you cannot look at symptoms and be aware of your healer. Amen. Pay attention to the healer, and you won't. You won't see health looking at symptoms.
A
That's right.
B
That's good. You will see and partake of health when you look at the healer. That means your attention is there now. He's already given healing as yours. Yes, he's already given it. We're not having to coerce it out of his hand. He's already given provision as ours. It's already given. It's already given. What? Why hasn't it shown up then, Pastor Nancy, if it's already given? Because it's waiting for us to believe that it's already so. We receive it because it's already given. Notice what he has given is waiting for us to receive it, not waiting for us to coerce God trying to talk him into supplying our need. Whether it's healing or whether it's provision, or whatever the need may be. He has already given you everything. When symptoms show up, I will answer many times. I'll say, too late, devil. I've already been given healing. Yes, too late. Too late. I've already been given healing. Now, when you know what you've already been given, the devil can't dupe you into wrong thinking. Into wrong speaking thinking. I've got to get provision. I've got to get prosperity. I've got to get my healing. No, you don't. It's already been given. It's already been given. And all you have to do is perform the act of receiving what's already been given. Amen. Now, once God gives it, the devil will create all kinds of commotion to try to interfere with you receiving what's already been given. Now know that he will try. If I could say this, he'll try to increase symptoms. He will increase the opposition against your life. Look at. Look at Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Here they were. They were dignitaries. They were leaders in the land, political Men and King Nebuchadnezzar set up a golden image of himself and said, every one of my leadership is going to bow to this. And Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego had already decided, we're not going to pray about this, you know. And so when the music was sounded and they were supposed to bow, they were the only ones still standing in a sea of people bowing. So it's not all. It's not hard to recognize who didn't bow, O King, you. So it was. They were announcing by them standing, we're not. We're not obeying your command. Of course, the king. It was these men were brought before the king. The king threatened them and said, I'm going to give you one more chance. The music's going to sound and you're going to bow. And they said, we're not careful answering Thee, O King, in this matter. We're not going to bow. And basically their lack of. Of complying with him so infuriated him. What did he do? He increased the heat, right? He said, heat that furnace seven times hotter. Notice this. When you start laying hold of what has already been given, the devil's trying to make you think that it doesn't work for you. So he will increase opposition, but increased opposition will never hold back from you what has already been given. God's already given too late. And he never takes back what he's already given. Here it says, verse 10, Colossians 2, verse 10. So you have everything when you have Christ. Christ has already been given. Can I tell you what? Let me tell you what. They're very colloquial phrase there, right? Let me tell you what. Because Christ has already been given to us, and everything he is is ours. When we sin and miss it, none of him is withdrawn from us. But when we sin and miss it, it takes us out of position to receive who he is in our lives. So we have to get back on receiving territory, you see. And when we repent, we'll find when we come into a place of repentance and we're forgiven. We're cleansed by the blood of Jesus from that sin we committed. We'll find that none of him was withdrawn from us. What's that mean? The devil will tell you you've missed it so much that you cannot have the plan of God fulfilled. You cannot receive your healing because you missed it. No, it's not. Everything God has given, he's never taken back. So when I come back into a place of fellowship with God by repenting after I've missed it and I come back into fellowship, I'll find that all that belonged to me in Christ is still available. Still available. So what's that mean? We do not have to accept a measure of defeat. That's right. Just because we missed it, we don't have to think, well, there's some facet of God's plan I can't fulfill now. No. None of what belongs to you in Christ will ever be withdrawn. It's always all yours. So stay in the place where you can be a partaker of all he is to you. Amen. As I said, when we sin and we miss it, we step out of. We step out of his flow. Why, we stepped onto sin's territory and there's none of him on sin's territory. But when we repent and get off of sin's territory and go back to love's territory, we get back onto God's property. Everything that belongs to us in Christ is awaiting us to enjoy. Amen. So we don't have to say, well, as a punishment, I shouldn't have this. No, there's no punishment, Jesus. Jesus was punished in our place. Amen. So every. Let's read it again. Verse 9. Colossians, chapter 2, verse 9. For in Christ there is all of God in a human body. So you. You have everything when you have Christ. So much of the time. In ministering to people, sometimes I've ministered to those. They have contacted me. They're in life and death situations. Maybe they're in the hospital room of someone who has been given up to die. And I said, do not go into that hospital room trying to talk God into sending something into that room. The power of God's in that room. The Holy Ghost is in that room. You're in that room. So Christ is in that room. When you walk in and try to talk God into sending something, you're demonstrating a lack of knowledge. And the devil will rob you of everything that's already been given. Because you're trying to talk God into giving what he's already given. And there's no revelation in that. And there's no faith in that because it's not the word, right? So that's what I tell and I remind people. When you have a need, do not try to talk God into giving you. He's already made yours. Everything you need in this life, skill and faith does nothing but draw on what's already mine. It's already mine. And because it's already mine, everything that is not mine must Leave, Symptoms must leave. They're not mine. And you say, but I have felt symptoms in my body for years. That doesn't make it anymore yours. You know, if someone were. Don't do it. But if someone were to steal something that belonged to someone else, let's say a television, they stole a television out of someone else's house, they put it in their own house, and that stayed there for a month, that stayed there for a year, that stayed there for 10 years, that's still not theirs, no matter how long it's been in their possession. Right. I don't care how long symptoms have been in your body, they're still not yours. That's right. Amen. And so just because the passing of time has happened does not make that difficulty more yours. This is what I love about the woman with the issue of blood. She had suffered many things and many physicians for 12 years. It wasn't the physicians that were the problem. You know, sometimes people will almost treat physicians like they're the enemy. Well, they're doing the best they know. And thank God they've kept some of us Christians alive. You know, that's not the enemy. Sickness is the enemy. The devil is the enemy. But she had for 12 years suffered with a continual bleeding from her body. And in that she went to many physicians. She suffered many things of physicians. Notice this. She was not content to settle down and live with this condition. She kept going, trying to find one physician to help her, that one couldn't help. Then she went to another. Then she went to another, Then she went to another. What was that? I love this about this woman. She would not accept what was trying to live with her. That's right. So she was ready to hear when she heard something about Jesus and she got out of her house and she went and found him. And we know the story. She went through the crowd and she pressed through the crowd, touched the hem of his garment, and healing power was the result. Notice this. She never resigned herself to living with that thing. She kept seeking to find help. No wonder her faith was ready to receive. She refused to settle for what had been with her for a long time. Too many times people think because something's been that way for a long time, it has to say that way. Don't resign yourself to that. Can I tell you that this woman, the woman with the issue of blood, you know where her miracle began? Well, first of all, it began with her hearing. She had to hear of Jesus. She believed what she heard. But the biggest step beyond that was she got out of her house, Notice that she didn't just lay there in her bed, stay in her home. And you know what a weakened condition she would have been in for 12 years, she's been losing, she's been losing blood. This woman is a constant anemic, I mean, a continual condition of anemia. And not to mention the suffering she had undergone in ways we don't even know about. And how easy it would have been to just lay there and accept it and just settle for it. And she kept kicking against, and kicking against that, which, that opposed her. And her, her miracle part of the beginning places was that when she got out of her house. So many times people are waiting for God to do something, but. But they're not going where power is. I'm talking about power that's in manifestation. When, when you're struggling with something, don't just sit and sit at home and wait for God to show up. Get where power is in manifestation. And that's exactly what she did. And because it was already given to her, Jesus. Jesus did not say, oh, you've suffered this. Why did you put up with that for so long? It didn't displease her. It caused him to be more delighted that she even drew on that because she would not accept the condition and the situation in her body. Notice, I don't care how long something has tried to live with you. God has already given everything you need for victory over that. Approach it as God has given it. I said, approach it as God has already given it. We are not trying to get God to give us something. Here it says in verse 10, so you have everything when you have Christ. Look at that. You have everything when you have Christ. You wouldn't have it if he hadn't given it. Amen. We need to pay attention to that because people get on the wrong side of praying. And when they get on the wrong side of it, what am I, what I mean, on the wrong side of prayer, trying to get God to send, oh, I'm trying to coerce God, trying to talk him into something, and he's not, he's not withheld anything. And because we're trying to get him to send something, that means we're not employing what he's already given. And that's lack of knowledge, lack of skill, lack of revelation. Well, praise the Lord. I don't know what it is that you may be dealing with today, but we want to release faith with you when we listen. The prayer of agreement is so scriptural, it is a, it's a It's an important part of God's word. But notice this. The prayer of agreement is when you're employing the faith of someone else joined with your own faith. The prayer of agreement does not happen when someone turns their need over to someone else to pray. No, you're still going to pray. You're still going to believe God, but we're just going to add our faith to you. Amen. So, Father, we pray for those who may be facing physical situations. Father, maybe they've been in those circumstances for a long time. We know this, that the passing of time does not diminish our covenant. The passing of time does not diminish the anointing and the power of God. It does not diminish our rights in Christ. And so we thank you, Father, that you've already given healing, you've already given prosperity, you've already given that which is our inheritance in Christ. We do not have to pray and ask for. We just recognize it's already given. And with our faith we lay hold of that. We take it and we say it's ours in Jesus name. So I speak to every pain you leave their body in Jesus name because healing has already been given for that condition. And we take it so right where you're at. Say, I take healing, I take freedom from pain. I take freedom from symptoms in Jesus name. And everybody said amen. And remember, remember this. Until next time, Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

Episode 799 | In Christ I Can, Part 39
Date: July 24, 2025
Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
In this episode, Nancy Dufresne continues her teaching series on “In Christ I Can,” focusing on the reality of what it means for believers to live “in Christ”—the fullness, authority, and resources that come with that position. She emphasizes the importance of renewing the mind to the truth of what has already been provided in Christ, and how faith receives what God has already given, rather than trying to get God to do what He’s already done. The message is practical and faith-building, including teaching, stories, and prayers for those needing healing or provision.
| Timestamp | Segment/Topic | |-----------|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | 00:10 | The power of God is present for healing—wherever you are | | 02:08 | The importance of continual hearing for faith | | 05:44 | Exploring the meaning of “in Christ”—limitless supply | | 07:15 | Colossians 2:6–10 as “golden text”—vital daily union with Christ | | 10:47 | Story on God as the source vs. the human channel | | 12:32 | Fixing attention on the healer, not the symptoms | | 14:30 | Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—opposition increases as faith draws from God | | 18:51 | Sin, repentance, and nothing being withdrawn from believers | | 20:12 | On not trying to talk God into sending what He’s already provided | | 22:14 | The woman with the issue of blood—refusing to settle for sickness | | 25:42 | The true meaning of the prayer of agreement—faith must be personal | | 26:40 | Closing faith declaration and corporate prayer |
Nancy Dufresne’s tone is warm, instructive, and faith-building, mixing practical teaching with exhortation and encouragement. She repeatedly stresses that believers should approach prayer and needs from a place of completed work—God’s provision for healing, provision, and fellowship is already given in Christ. Faith receives, not pleads. The listener is encouraged not to settle, not to focus on outward circumstances or waiting for “channels,” but to continually feed their faith and rest in what Christ has done.
Summary for New Listeners:
This episode is a stirring reminder that everything needed for life—healing, provision, peace—has already been given to the believer in Christ. Nancy Dufresne skillfully blends Bible teaching, personal testimony, and practical encouragement to equip listeners to grow in faith and confidently receive from God every day, not by striving, but by resting in what is already theirs.
