There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the Healer. We have been in a series for a while now. We're ministering on you, Christ, who we are in Christ, what belongs to us because we're in Christ. And what we can do because we're in Christ. But I could say this. In Christ, that's how we're to live. As rich as we are. We have to find it out so that we can spend it. It has to become real to us. We have to establish in our spirits that we are already the righteousness of God in Christ. What's that mean?
A
That.
B
That means we're not trying to experience success based on us, but we're putting him to work through us. Listen, during Jesus earthly ministry, he would make the statement, my Father in Me, he does the works. So know this. To live as one in Christ means this. I'm going to let him flow through me. It's not us trying to live apart from him, but him getting his way through me. That no matter what he commands us to do, no matter what he calls us to do, he never intended to for us to do it apart from Him. He intended to fulfill it through us with his ability. Now we have to be skillful at responding to him, yielding to him, drawing on him and letting him manifest through us. That's what he wants to do. He's in us. He. He abides in us. He lives in us because he wants to manifest through us. So what's that mean? We need to be skillful and we need to be mindful that he's in us. And not just every time a situation shows up. We start drawing on us in the flesh, but we start drawing on him who's in us. How do we draw on Him? By what we say. By what we do say. Father, I Yield to your. To your strength. Today you've graced me to do what I must do today. And let's not wait for emergencies or crisis to show up. Before we start drawing on Him. We should draw on him every day so that we're yielding to him, responding to Him. But know this, we have to live mindful. If we are not holding him in the forefront of our thinking, then we're not going to automatically start drawing on him in the face of opposition. We'll just go back to the flesh or to the old ways of operating. But we have to, number one, find out what belongs to us. Amen. We've made available to you something on our website, completely free. I want you to get hold of it. You can go to our website and download. There's a small booklet here that just has a few of what we call the in him scriptures. That means in him, through him, by him, through Whom, all those phrases that depict who we are. We. We've got some of those scriptures compiled for you, but we also have a complete listing all these New Testament scriptures. You can put them on your device and you can keep them with you or you can print them out, but they're completely free. Go to our website@jesusthehealer.org and load those down on your device. But why do we want you to load them? Because we want you to meditate on them. Speak these to yourself. Amen. Put it in your mouth so that you, if I could say this, you establish these truths in your spirit. You know, God delivered His people out of Egypt because He had a further place he was going to take them. He said, I've already given you a land that flows with milk and honey. Well, what happened? They did not establish that truth in them. They did not take what God said and take ownership of it. And because of that, that first generation wandered for 40 years and never arrived. Because they didn't hold fast to what God said. Well, we need to hold fast to who we are in Christ. So we have to find these scriptures that show us who we are and in him, and we're to put them in our mouth. And can I tell you this? When you do that, you're going to come into the highest order of faith. Faith will be no struggle for you. I've got this book here. It's from Kenneth Hagin Ministries. I don't know how long I've had it. I want to say I don't know. I can't say that I can offer it to you because I don't know how long I've had it. But it's really these in Him Scriptures, and then there's multiple translations under different. Under each verse. And so can I take time to read those to you today? I want to spotlight a few of them. These are scriptures we're so well acquainted with. But I want you to see what different translations say to us. These are all in Him Scriptures. This is Philippians, chapter 2, verse 13. It says this. The King James translation says, for it is God which worketh in you, in you, both to will and to do of his good pleasure. So there's two things. He's working in us. He's working with our will, and he's working in our doing. Now know this. He'll never violate your will, and he'll never make you do something, but he will so work with us that we bring our will into agreement with his will and that we end up desiring to do everything he has authored for us to do. I want to read to you out of a different translation that same verse. It says this. For God is at work in you. What a great thing to fill your mouth with. God's at work in me. You are to say these things, these truths. They have to dawn on you. God is at work in me. We know this. The devil's working against us. We shouldn't be focusing on that. We should be focusing on who's working in us. Right? For God is at work in you. And then this. He tells us. What is he doing? He helps you to want to do it. Look at that. He helps you to want to do it, and he helps you do what he wants you to do. Ah. Some of the times, so many people say, well, you know, a part of me wants to do what he says, but a part of me wants to do what I want. He's still working with us. What's this mean? He's ever revealing the greatness of his plan so that our will says, wait a minute. I want less of what I planned, and I want more of what he planned. To where we get to the point where I go, I want none of what I planned, and I want all of what he's planned. That's a process. Many times. And he will keep working with us in that process. He will not manipulate your will. He will. He will not force your will, but he'll keep showing you the great things he has for you. So that you say, I'm letting go of what I planned and I'm laying hold of everything he's planned. So again, let me Read that translation to you. For God is at work in you. My, my, my. I'm thrilled about that. Right. He w. He helps you want to do it, and he helps you do what he wants you to do. Why does he want us to do what he wants to? Not so he can win his way, but so he can bring us into the best life. What he wants for us holds every good thing. What we want for us will be cheating us out of the best life. Then another translation says, always recognizing that it is God who is at work in you. He is the One who gives you the will and the power to obey Him. Then another translation says this. God is working in you to help you want to do what pleases Him. Then he gives you the power to do it. Isn't that something he doesn't even. He tells you what he wants you to do, then he empowers you to do it. My, my, my, what a deal. Then this next translation says, for it is God that influences your desires and endeavors out of his benevolence to you. Notice, when he's working with us, he's being good to us because there's nothing but goodness in the plan that he offers us. And he doesn't want us to be cheated out of it. Listen, I don't ever want to arrive in heaven and him show me what I could have enjoyed, what I could have produced, what I could have partaken of. I want to enjoy it here, I want to produce it here, I want to partake of it here, and not wish I would have done it later when I was in heaven. Go. Wow. Look what I missed. That I could have enjoyed on the earth. That's why he continues working with us. Amen. Let me read to you another translation of it. For God is at work within you, helping you want to obey him and then helping you do what he wants. That's so. That so takes all the pressure off of me. Because the devil. How many times we kick against what we know. God's asking, do you know? That's why we struggle. We're resisting something that he is telling us to do. Or he's we're resisting something that we know what he wants us to do. Amen. Then let me read another one to you. How about this? Because this. What are we doing? We're just meditating on some in Him Scriptures, aren't we? I want us to read Philippians 3, verse 12. This is the amplified translation. Philippians 3, verse 12. Paul is writing and he said, not that I have already obtained it this goal of being Christlike or have already been made perfect. What's he mean? Perfect means mature in him, fully developed in him, he said, but I actively press on so that I may take hold of that perfection for which Christ Jesus took hold of me and made me his own. Amen. What's he saying? I'm not going to come into the fullness of who Christ made me to be by my effort. It's him doing it in me. Another translation of Philippians 3:12 says, I've not achieved a state of flawless perfection. But as I strive to copy him, my fellowship with him continues to deepen. So I keep pushing ahead, going after what Christ had in mind for me when he first laid hold of me. Oh, my goodness, that's loaded, isn't it? Then listen to this translation. I do not claim to to have received all that God has for me. Neither have I yet been made perfect. But I am always moving forward to take hold of everything that Christ Jesus had planned to give me when he laid hold of my life. Now listen to this one. This is the next verse of Philippians, chapter 3, verse 13 and 14. Paul is writing, of course. He says, brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended, but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Now, you'll recognize that as the King James translation, but I want you to listen to this translation. Paul said, brothers, I consider that I myself have not yet taken hold of Christ's ultimate purpose for me. But there is one thing that I am doing. I'm forgetting about my past. And I am reaching forward to what lies ahead. I am pushing onward toward the goal for the prize of the upward call to heaven from God in fellowship with Christ. Ah. So. So good. Right. Notice this. We're to always be pressing forward. Can I tell you what the life in Christ is one of always reaching, always reaching for more, advancing, taking ground, increasing, going further in God. We won't float there. We have to press there. And it's not a hard work. It's a joyous work. Now, why do we have to. Not because we're trying to coerce something of God, not because we're trying to make something happen on our own, but we're pressing past the flesh. We're pressing past wrong thinking. We're pressing past any opposition. That's why press is involved. You know, when you talk about your covenant and all that belongs to you in Christ, you have to press to lay hold of what he's made yours. And this is what Paul is reminding us of. And this great apostle had to do it. He's telling us how he did it. Now. Listen to this next translation of Philippians 3, 13, 14. He says, Dear brothers, I do really not think that I have achieved it yet, but one thing I am that I may say, what is behind me is forgotten. See, we need to say that when the accuser of the brethren tries to remind us of our past, we. We're to say, what's behind me is forgotten. Why can we forget it? Because the blood of Jesus cleansed it. We're not forgetting it because we're treating it lightly, as though we had no wrongdoing in that. But we're saying it's forgotten because the blood cleansed it from us. Can I tell you this? Your past is worthy of one thing. Forgetting it. That's what our past is worthy of. You say, what if it's good things I did? What if. Well, I'm going to say this. We can't live off of the momentum of the good of the past. We're to keep producing and not say, well, I did well in the past and not keep pressing in the present. But Paul, again, he says, but one thing I may say, what is behind me is forgotten. My whole being stretches out toward what lies before me. My whole striving is for the prize that I see, the call from the heavenly heights to become one with Christ. Amen. How do we become one with Him? In what we say, what we do, how we think, how we believe, how we respond. Every day we're to demonstrate our oneness with Christ. Amen. Then another translation. He says, brothers and sisters, I have not yet experienced this perfect, total and complete restoration, but there is one thing I can do to assist God in His plan to heal and restore. I don't lament past mistakes nor grow content with past victories. Rather, I constantly push for the perfection that still lies ahead. I press forward constantly toward the goal of Christlike perfection one day to experience the ultimate prize for which God has called me heavenward, the joy of seeing him face to face. My goodness, that one's loaded right. Listen to this translation. He says, my fellow believers, I certainly do not consider that I have already become completely like Christ, but I am like a runner. A runner does not look backwards. Instead, he leans. He. He stretches forward as he runs straight toward the goal in order that he might win the race and get the prize. Similarly, I do not think about what I have already done. Instead, I concentrate only on continuing to become more and more like Christ right up to the end of my life. As a result, because of my relationship with Christ, Jesus Christ, God will call and summon me to receive a reward from him in heaven. Wow. These are the things that will rewrite how you think. When you get these truths on the inside of you, you quit believing and listening to the opposition and the accusations of the enemy against you. Amen. I want us to go to such an important verse in Philippians 4. 6. Let's see what this one says. We need to meditate on this one. It's so critical in the life of the believer to become skillful with this verse. Philippians 4, verses 6 and 7. This is the Amplified classic translation. It says, do not fret or have any anxiety about anything. We can stop there and camp. Just stop there and say, wait a minute. What am I fretting about? What does he mean? Worry, worry. Do not fret or have any anxiety. What will worry lead you to anxiety every time? If we continue to worry, it will arrive us at anxiety. So he says, do not fret or have any anxiety. Look at these next two words about anything. I so appreciate that he said about anything, because that would include anything I've done wrong. Sometimes if the enemy just opposes us, it's easier to cast that down when we just know we're being opposed. But what can be harder to the unrenewed mind is, I know I messed this up. I'm the one who caused this problem. Well, we're authorized here. Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, even when you're the one who missed it, even when you're the one who made the wrong decisions, even when you're the one who messed up a relationship or you're the one who took steps that led to failure. Don't fret about it. Don't be anxious about it. Why? Because when we miss it, we. We need his help more than ever. And it's worry and anxiety that closes the door to the power of God to help us. That's why he says, even when you've missed it, don't fret about it. Why? Because God wants to help you, especially when you missed it. Now, I love the testimony that Brother Kenneth Hagin gave dad. Hagin was a spiritual father to my husband and I for decades. And he would, on occasion, tell the story of the time that he was preaching one day and he walked outside right after the sermon, and he slipped on ice and when he did, he fell and he injured his arm. Well, he had to go to the doctor, and they had to set muscles and things back in place. And so he was. He had to. Had to have a stay for a couple of days in the hospital just for them to observe him. But while he was riding in the car to the hospital, God spoke to him and he said this. He said, your arm isn't broken. And of course, the doctor said it wasn't broken. He found that out later. But he said, don't worry about it, and I'll talk to you about it later. Now listen to this. Worry about it, and I'll talk to you about it later. So it's about two days later. They've set his arm back in place because it was muscles and ligaments that had been pulled out of place. And they set that back. But he was sitting up in his hospital bed, and he said, I wasn't worried about it. I wasn't concerned about it. He said, for one thing, Jesus had told him not to. So while he's sitting in that hospital bed, he hears footsteps coming down the corridor of the hospital room, of the hospital hallway. And he just thinks it's a nurse walking toward his room. His door was partly opened, and so he looked up to see the nurse come through the doorway. But when he looked up, it wasn't the nurse who came through. It was Jesus who walked into his room. And Jesus went over to a chair that was in the room, pulled it up beside his bed and sat down and talked to him for an hour and a half about multiple things. But he started his conversation with this. He said, I told you when you were in the car to the hospital that your arm wasn't broken. And of course, the doctors verified that. But he said, I also told you, don't worry about it and I'll speak to you later. And he said, you're to be commended for. For not worrying. Now listen to that. It mattered to Jesus that he didn't worry. He said, you're to be commended for not worrying. Why was it important that Brother Hagin not worry? I firmly believe that if he had gotten into worry, Jesus could not have manifested and come and talk to him. Why? Because Jesus cannot move in a flow of worry. We have to get out of the flow of worry if we're going to hear from God, because God is not moving in worry. That's why worry is detrimental to the life of the believer, because it is the wrong flow. It's not God's flow, and God is only moving in his flow. He's not moving in the fear flow. He's not moving in the worry flow. And I want you to know worry is nothing but an outflow of fear. It's a symptom of fear. And so I firmly believe Jesus was specifying to Brother Hagin, don't worry about it. Why? Because Jesus knew I need to talk to him about some things. I'm going to visit him, but if he worries, I can't come and talk. Listen, when you need to hear from God, get rid of worry, deal with the sin of worry. Choose to not worry. You say, Pastor Nancy, you don't know how I've messed up my life. Then you're going to have to make sure you don't worry. Because now you need divine help. And if you're going to worry, you close the door to God. Now, God never withholds power, but we can close the door to the power of God so that it interrupts the flow of his power into our life. That's always impressed me that Jesus said to him, don't worry. And then he commended him to. That's one of the first things he said to him when he visited him. He said, I told you not to worry. And I commend you for not worrying. Now, another aspect of this, he told Brother Hagin, he said, this accident happened to you because you got in disobedience. Now, notice accidents don't just happen because they're part of our life. They shouldn't be part of our life. But why? Because the Bible says that the angels of heaven will bear us up in their hands lest we dash our foot against a stone. Notice this. We can even be from tripping when we're in the care of heaven. But Brother Hagin had fallen and injured himself. And Jesus said to him, that happened because you got in disobedience. When we're in disobedience, we're off of God's territory. And when we're on the devil's territory, then. And then the devil can attack us. So when. When Jesus said to Brother Hagin, this happened because you were in disobedience to me. And then he talked about the detail of that later. But I want you to see this. When Brother Hagin was in disobedience to God, do you know what? He's the one that missed it, right? Disobedience. Was Brother Hagin missing it. But I love that even though Brother Hagin was the one who was doing it wrong, Jesus still said, don't worry about it. I love that. Why? Because so many times the devil tries to get us to beat up ourselves because we missed it. Don't worry about it, even though you might have missed it because God has divine help for you. And if you will stay out of the worry flow and stay in the God flow, the power of God can flow unhindered to restore and put back and rescue you even though you missed it. So I so love this verse here. We when we read it again In Philippians chapter 4, verse 6, do not fret or have any anxiety about anything. If you're to receive help, get rid of worry. How do you get rid of it? Say I refuse to worry worries of fear. Fear I take authority over you. I will not worry. I won't worry about my marriage, my home, my children, my finances. What about this? Quit worrying about your body if you want to receive healing. You cannot worry about your body and and your health and symptoms if you want to receive healing. When we step outside of worry, we just are in the flow where God's power can help us. Amen. Well, you don't want to miss next time. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the Healer. God bless you.

In this episode, Nancy Dufresne continues her long-running series "In Christ I Can," focusing on the transformative power of understanding and living out our identity in Christ. She emphasizes the importance of renewing the mind, skillfully yielding to the Holy Spirit, and living free from anxiety. Using key "in Him" scriptures, Nancy encourages believers to meditate on their inheritance in Christ, let go of past failures, and continually press forward in faith, regardless of mistakes or challenges.
Nancy opens by reminding listeners:
"There’s enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. ... Power is present. That power is there to do a work ... He’s already made it yours. It’s present right where you’re at. Say, I receive that power. I receive it right now." (00:10-00:41)
Emphasis: Healing and provision are not distant but already available in Christ; the key is receiving and acknowledging what has already been given.
Nancy underscores the shift from self-reliance to Christ-reliance:
"To live as one in Christ means this: I’m going to let him flow through me. It’s not us trying to live apart from him, but him getting his way through me." (01:29-01:49)
Application: We're called not to act from our flesh or old patterns but to consciously draw upon and yield to the indwelling Holy Spirit—every day, not just during crises.
Nancy encourages believers to look up scriptures that declare who we are in Christ and keep them at the forefront:
"We’ve made available ... a small booklet ... that just has a few of what we call the ‘in him’ scriptures ... Why do we want you to load them? Because we want you to meditate on them. Speak these to yourself. ... You establish these truths in your spirit." (02:36-03:40)
Free Resource: jesusthehealer.org offers a downloadable booklet of "In Him" scriptures.
Nancy reads various translations of Philippians 2:13 to show that God not only calls us but empowers us:
"For God is at work in you. What a great thing to fill your mouth with. God’s at work in me. ... He helps you to want to do it, and he helps you do what he wants you to do." (05:14-06:04)
Notable Quote:
"He will not manipulate your will, but he’ll keep showing you the great things he has for you." (06:50)
Insight: God is continually working not only to direct our actions but to shape our desires so that we willingly align with His will.
Nancy unpacks Paul’s attitude toward the past and the future:
"I do not claim to have received all that God has for me ... but I am always moving forward to take hold of everything that Christ Jesus had planned to give me when he laid hold of my life." (09:49-10:20)
"My whole being stretches out toward what lies before me. My whole striving is for the prize ... the call from the heavenly heights to become one with Christ." (13:08-13:54)
Key Insight:
Pressing forward is not self-effort for God’s approval, but determination to lay hold of what Christ has made available, pushing past the flesh, past wrong thinking, and opposition.
Nancy notes:
"These are the things that will rewrite how you think. When you get these truths on the inside of you, you quit believing and listening to the opposition and the accusations of the enemy against you." (15:56-16:07)
Application: Meditating on the truth of who we are in Christ silences condemnation and accusation, fostering renewed, victorious thinking.
Nancy highlights the essential command to refuse worry:
"Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything. We can stop there and camp. ... What am I fretting about? ... That would include anything I’ve done wrong." (16:21-16:54)
Key Point: Even if we've created a mess through our own decisions, anxiety obstructs God’s help. Believers are authorized to refuse worry and lean into grace, even when they've made mistakes.
Nancy shares a powerful story:
"He [Brother Hagin] slipped on ice and ... fell and he injured his arm. ... While he was riding in the car to the hospital, God spoke ... 'your arm isn’t broken. ... Don’t worry about it and I’ll talk to you about it later.' ... He [Jesus] said, 'You’re to be commended for not worrying.' Now listen to that. It mattered to Jesus that he didn’t worry.” (18:09-21:14)
Lesson: Jesus cannot manifest or speak to us in the spirit of worry or fear; worry closes the door to the flow of God’s power and presence.
Nancy continues:
"This accident happened to you because you got in disobedience. ... Accidents don’t just happen because they’re part of our life. ... When we’re in disobedience, we’re off of God’s territory." (22:00-23:10)
Insight: Disobedience exposes us to danger—not because God removes His care, but because we step outside of His protective boundaries. Nevertheless, even when we’ve missed it, Jesus says, "Don’t worry about it," emphasizing God’s readiness to help if we stay out of worry.
Nancy instructs:
"If you’re to receive help, get rid of worry. How do you get rid of it? Say I refuse to worry. Worry is a fear. Fear, I take authority over you. I will not worry." (24:51-25:12)
Application: Speaking to and rejecting worry is an act of faith that opens the channel for God’s help and healing.

Nancy Dufresne passionately exhorts listeners to live out their union with Christ by meditating on God’s Word, shifting focus from mistakes or opposition, and steadfastly refusing worry. By doing so, believers authorize God’s power to work in their lives—bringing healing, restoration, and victory, regardless of past failures. The episode’s central plea: Don’t let anxiety, fear, or the past rob you of the fullness of what is yours 'in Christ.'
