There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad to have you joining us today for Jesus the Healer. We are just. I'm just delighting in this series that we're bringing to you. We've been on it for a while now, and we're ministering on in Christ what belongs to us because we're in Christ and who he is in us and who we are in Him. Because this is so foundational to the life of victory. You know, if you were to take a new job and you had to be trained for that position, you. The more skillful you are at those skills that are connected to that position, the less you struggle, right? Well, even so, we had to be skillful with who we are in Christ, who He is in us, who we are in Him. Why? Because then that closes the door to struggle. When there's struggle is because we don't know something. Like I said, just on the job, if someone's struggling with their job, it's because they don't know something about their job or they're not skillful at a certain aspect of their job. We have to become skillful with who he is in us and who we are in him. Why? Because the devil is constantly trying to paint the picture of us outside of Christ. But the Word paints the picture of who we are in Christ. Listen, you can't look at your flesh and come into a revelation of who you are in Christ, that who you are in Christ is only made known to you through the Word. The Word of God reveals Christ in you and reveals you in Christ. The Word of God is the only way we come to learn the realm of God, the spirit realm, the faith realm. Why? Because we don't see that realm. So we have to go to God's Word and find out. It's a textbook for God's realm. It's the textbook for the realm of faith. The devil is constantly trying to hold us in the natural realm so we don't learn the realm we've been born into as a child of God. Listen, every single one of us were born into this natural realm. And since the time we were baby, we were learning this realm. Well, since we're born again now, we're born into another realm, God's realm, the faith realm, the spirit realm. And that's the highest realm. And that's the realm of victory. That's where all of our victory flows from. So what we are to do as we learn who we are in Christ and who Christ is in us, we're talking about another realm. We're not just sentenced to live life in this natural realm that we see around us. In a previous episode, we were talking about quoting when the Word says, while we look not at the things which are seen, the things of this realm, but at the things which are not seen. So it's a sin for us to be focused and occupied on what this realm shows us when God's realm offers us something more and shows us something more. So that. Second Corinthians, chapter 4, verse 18. Let me read it again. They put it up for me on the screen. It says, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal. What's that mean? They're up for change. If you can see it, if you can feel it, if you can touch it, it's changeable. But the things which are not seen are eternal. What's that mean? The things of God, the things of the realm of the spirit, the realm of faith, they're not changeable. They're not going to change. What's that mean? You can count on them to be the same. They're certain and they're sure. But this realm is changeable. Now, when something in this natural realm needs changing, you won't change it by being focused this realm, you change it by being focused on the realm that produces change. And this natural realm gets trumped by the spirit realm. So when you want this natural realm to change, you have to focus on the spirit realm. What the word of God says, you have to focus on what faith shows you so that you can, if I could say this, give God permission with your faith to change the things that need changing in this realm. Now, what does it mean to we're called to live by faith. What's the Word say? The just shall live by faith. The Just don't live by looking at this realm. The just live by being occupied with and focused on God's realm, the word of God. Let me say it to you this way. When faith goes to market, she takes a basket with her, right? Because she expects she's going to get something. Do you know all the ladies and even men who at different times have gone to a grocery store? Do you know what we normally do when we walk in? We go over and we pick up a basket. Why? Because we don't have anything in that basket yet. But we're expecting to walk up and down the aisles of that store and collect the things we need. Do you know what? Faith. Faith always takes a basket. Why? Because with our faith we lay hold of the things that God has stocked the shelves of this redemption with. Because in Christ all things belong to you. But it's with your faith you gather it and you don't leave it unaccessed. You cannot gather what belongs to in Christ. Being focused on this natural realm. Now, in Christ is health. In Christ is wholeness. In Christ is victory. In Christ is provision. In Christ is wisdom. In Christ is all nine fruits of the Spirit. In Christ is all nine gifts or manifestations of the Spirit. Outside of Christ is none of these things. Now think of it. Outside of Christ, there's no heavenly joy. Outside of Christ, there's no love of God. Everything is in Christ. There's nothing outside of Christ. But what does the devil want you to do? He always wants to draw you outside of who you are in Christ. He wants you to. Can I say it this way? Health is in Christ. Symptoms are outside of Christ. Wholeness is in Christ. Pain is outside of Christ. So the devil wants you occupied with symptoms. He wants you occupied with pain. He wants you occupied with unpaid bills. He wants you occupied with fear. He wants you occupied with anxiety. He wants you occupied with depression. He wants you occupied with your faults, failures and weaknesses of the past. Why? Because all of that is outside of Christ. But in Christ, there's no failure. There's no weakness, there's no lack. There's no pain. There's no. There's no disease. Think of this now. Whichever one you're going to focus on and talk about is the one that's going to manifest. If we talk about what life looks like outside of Christ, that's what we're going to have. If we talk about pain, we have more pain. We talk about symptoms. We have more symptoms. We talk about unpaid bills, we get more unpaid bills. If you talk as one Outside of Christ, that's what will flow. But if you'll talk as one in Christ, then that's what will flow. I'm going to ask them to put up the verse Philemon chapter one. There's only one chapter in Philemon, but verse six, Philemon 1:6. And this is the King James translation. Listen to how this reads. It said that the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you, in Christ Jesus. Now, what does that mean? Look at this. The communication of thy faith may become effectual. Your faith goes into effect when you acknowledge who you are in Christ. Every good thing that is yours because you're in Christ. What's this mean? In Christ has to be acknowledged. It doesn't manifest. What belongs to you in Christ doesn't manifest simply because you're in Christ. You have to acknowledge it. The acknowledging. Wait a minute. In Christ, I'm whole. In Christ, there is no pain. So when pain shows up, when symptoms show up, sickness and disease show up. Acknowledge who you are in Christ. In Christ, there's no pain. He's not in pain. So in Christ, there's no pain. I'm going to talk as one in Christ. I'm going to say, thank God I'm free from pain because I'm in Christ. Thank God I'm free from symptoms right now because I'm in Christ. That's called acknowledging. Every good thing that's in you, in Christ Jesus. When you acknowledge who you are in Christ, that which is outside of Christ has no foothold in you. So you can say this when you go to sit down and pay your bills. In Christ, I have all the money I need to pay my bills. And you say, well, Pastor Nancy, I tried to do that, but the money's not in my bank account. If you will sit down every time, pay your bills and say, I always have enough in Christ. I always have more than enough to pay my bills. If you will say that all the time. What are you talking. You're acknowledging the provision and the supply that's yours in Christ. Don't talk as one outside of Christ. I've got unpaid bills. I never have enough money. My paycheck runs out. I never reach the end of my month financially with money. You start talking as one outside of Christ. And the One. The devil is the one who will fulfill that. But we're not outside of Christ. We're in him. And we have to learn the language of in Christ. We have to learn the speech of in Christ, we have to learn the thoughts of in Christ. So whenever pain and symptoms come, you say, no, you don't. Because I'm in Christ. And you're not drawing my attention to outside of Christ. Symptoms are nothing but the temptation to talk as one outside of Christ. And I'm not outside of Christ. I'm in Christ. I refuse to talk as one outside of Christ. And this is what Philemon 1:6 is saying. That the communication of thy faith. Listen, your faith has to be communicated. How do you do that? Through words. This realm, this natural realm that needs to change has to hear higher communication. It has to hear words that you're communicating to this realm. You're not bossing me around. You're not the final voice. You're not the final authority. This natural realm is up for change. Why? Because this realm is temporal. That means it's subject to change. And I am going to communicate by my faith words what belongs to me in Christ. I'm going to talk about every good thing. Now listen. It's only the things you acknowledge as yours in Christ are the only ones God can manifest. If you don't acknowledge that you're healed, God can't manifest that. Why? Because when you acknowledge it, you're giving him permission to perform it. And God is a perfect gentleman. He will not force anything that belongs to you in Christ upon you. You have to acknowledge it for him to perform it. That's why it's so important that you say, I'm whole in Christ. All my bills are paid in Christ. I have the wisdom of God. I have the joy of God, I have the peace of God. And you have to say it when this realm isn't sh. Showing it to you. Because the faith words is talking about God's realm. Faith is not talking about this seen natural realm. Faith talks about what God's realm holds and offers to you. And what God has already made a possession of yours. Now he's already made it our possession. But it's up to us to partake of what we possess. You say, well, if I. If it's my possession, is it isn't. It might automatically. Well, you know, you may have a kitchen that has food in the pantry, food in the refrigerator, food in the freezer. But just because you're in possession of that food doesn't mean you're partaking of it. You have to take action toward that food that's in your kitchen before you can partake of it. Same thing within Christ. You have to acknowledge what is yours in Christ so that you can Partake of it. There are people who have not been taught that Jesus is the healer. Or sometimes they've been mistaught. They've been taught against the Word. They've been taught that God uses sickness to teach you something. Well, you can learn something through sickness, but that's not God's way of teaching you. God's way of teaching you is through His Word. God's way of teaching you is not through tragedy, hardship, crisis, suffering. That's not God's way of teaching. Although you can learn some things. I mean, you, if you, if you crash your car, you can learn some things. Don't do that again. But that's not, that's not the way that God would teach you things. God does not teach you through tragedy. He teaches you through His Word. And so when you agree with the Word of God, then God can manifest it. But if we think in terms against the Word of God and there are people who have been taught, well, God made me sick to teach me something. You have no scripture for that. There is no scriptural basis for that. Just because a preacher said that or someone that you love said that, that doesn't make it true. Always go back to the Word. What does the Word say? Because you have to acknowledge what God says so he can perform it. But if you acknowledge what the devil said, guess who's performing that? The devil's performing it. So what we acknowledge is the flow that's going to manifest in our life. Don't acknowledge this natural realm all the time. And when I say acknowledge it, don't make that your conversation. Don't make that where your attention is. You have to see if there's, if I could say this, an unpaid bill that shows up. You get an unexpected bill in the mail, you do need to recognize, wait a minute, I've got to use my faith for this. So you're going to acknowledge that there's a bill, but you're not going to acknowledge lack for the bill. You're going to acknowledge. I have provision for this bill. So this is what Philemon 16 is telling us. The communication of your faith becomes effectual or your faith goes into effect when, when you acknowledge every good thing which is in you, in Christ. Now, if you'll acknowledge healing and health today, you'll reap it tomorrow and next week. I'm just saying what you acknowledge today, it fills your day, but it also will move into your future. If people, if I could say this, they say, I don't know why, I just don't feel good. Anymore. I just, you know, I have constant physical problems. Well, what did you acknowledge yesterday? Because we need to continually acknowledge that which belongs to us. We can't just acknowledge it once and think that that one acknowledgement is going to fill our life with God's best. It's a lifestyle. Faith is a lifestyle. We live by faith. What's that mean? We live by acknowledging what's ours in Christ. When we talk about what belongs to us in Christ, we're giving God permission to perform it. Now, just wanting it is not acknowledging it. You know, some people say, well, I want to be healed. Well, that's not acknowledging it. You have to say in Christ, I'm healed right now. And you say, well, I have pain right now. I know. That's why you have to lay a higher flow on the now. Right? And so you are authorized to say, in Christ, I'm pain free. Talk about when symptoms come, when Lack tries to show up, talk about in Christ, this need is met. So when the wrong thing tries to manifest, we don't let this natural realm fill our mouth. We have to talk in Christ. Now. We have used in this series the testimony that Brother Copeland gave when God spoke to him. My goodness. Over 50 years ago in the 1970s, Brother Copeland and Sister Gloria were just learning the truths of prosperity. They were in debt. And God spoke to them and said, I want you to give $50,000 to Kenneth Hagin's ministry. The skill of Brother Copeland's answer was this. In Christ, I have it, and in Christ I can give it. Now, notice what he didn't say. I don't have that in my bank account. I don't have that in my checkbook. He didn't talk about outside of Christ. He talked about in Christ. And when he did. And then he just did what he could do. What could he do? He didn't have $50,000. But you know what he had. I'm talking about in his own resources. You know what he had? He had coins. He would take a dollar bill that maybe got broken during the day when he would use it to, you know, he'd pay, maybe purchase something, and he'd get change back. He would throw that change in a box under his bed every day. And then when that box would get relatively full, he would send it in to Kenneth Hagin's ministry, and he'd just do that time after time. After a period of time, he called their office and said, I have no idea how much I've given. How much have I have. I sowed and they Said, you've sown well over $50,000. And brother Copeland said, there is no way that in those coins there was over $50,000 that I gave. But what did he do? He did what he could do, and God made up the difference. God multiplied his seed sown. Once he sowed what he had. God multiplied that, and it became more than enough. So that's what I'm saying to you, is that when you say, in Christ, I have it then, and in Christ I can give it. That's what Brother Copeland did. And fulfill filled that word. Now, because we're in Christ, we have a part to play as one in Christ. What is our part to play? Well, number one, we have to bring our faith. So we have to say, in Christ, there is no pain in me. Because you say, well, I have pain in my body. Yeah, but that's outside of Christ. We're talking about in Christ. Talk about what you already have because you are in Christ. So you say, I have no pain in my body. I have no unpaid bills. Because you're talking as one in Christ. That's what faith does. It talks about what you have in Christ. Unbelief talks about what you have outside of Christ. But faith talks about what you have in Christ. If you'll talk about that which you have in Christ, then God has your permission to perform it, and he will perform it. Now in Christ, it calls for your faith. Why? Because that's how you partake of what belongs to you in Christ. But let me tell you what also is our part. Obedience. Now, listen, when God said to Brother Copeland, I want you to give $50,000 to Brother Hagin's ministry, he didn't just say, okay, in Christ, I have it, and then did nothing. He took an act. Faith has to always be accompanied with an action. And so he just took the little bit that he had. That was not enough. And he made movement toward what God said. Because you have to give movement for God to work with. Now, people are. Let me say, for example, people say. Somebody may say, well, I need a job. I'm believing God to open the door for me to get a job. Great. Okay. Use your faith. In Christ, all my needs are met. And in Christ, I have the job I desire. So what are you doing? You're releasing your faith. But now what are you going to go do? Now you're going to go out. You're going to put in job applications. You're going to put in your resume. You're not going to sit at home and watch tv and say, well, in Christ, I've got no. Faith is obedience. Faith is an action. And so our part as one in Christ is to speak words of faith and have actions of obedience. So we have to join our actions. That's what Brother Copeland did. He did not go in debt. He didn't go out and make a. Get a loan to give that offering to Brother Hagin's ministry. What did he do? He took. Took what he had, which was not enough, and he took an act. Listen, people will say, well, I'm, you know, I'm just waiting for God to give me the house I need. Well, have you gone and looked at a house? I'm waiting for God to give me the job I need. Well, have you gone and looked for a job? You have to give God movement to work with. Just like you can't steer a parked car, God can't. God can't steer your life without movement. He needs the movement of faith. So what is our movement of faith? Obey what God tells us to do. Do you know that the Holy Ghost is interested in helping you arrive at obedience to God? And he will even direct you in your obedience. He will say, give this call that person, talk to that person. And it's so interesting that he will direct you sometimes to do things that make absolutely no sense. But it's the divine direction of God. And if you'll follow what he says to do, your answer is on the other end of your obedience. Let me give you an example. Many of you would have heard of the preacher Smith Wigglesworth. He was an Englishman that was on the forefront, a man of faith, a man of. Had a strong healing ministry in the first half of the 1900s. And he. He made a decision one day. Someone. He lived in England, and someone had spoken to him about a house they were selling. And he had been looking for a home. And he said, yes, I'll buy that house. Well, when he got alone with God, he recognized that wasn't the house God had for him. And he recognized, oh, I've given my word that I would buy this house. And he said, but that wasn't. That put me. That put him in a hard financial place now because he didn't have the resources. And it wasn't God directing him to do that. It was his own mistake in agreeing to that. So he went to relatives to try to get a loan from relatives. He went to banks to try to get a loan from banks. He could not secure the money for it. And he said, God, I've gotten myself in this mess. You know, God's not mad at us when we get ourselves in a mess. He wants to help us more than ever at that point. And so he went to all the different avenues he knew to try to secure the money to fulfill that obligation, and he couldn't get it. And one day he just, finally he went to God and said, God, I. I've made a. I made a wrong choice. I, I messed up. I repent, but I need your help to get me out of this, this mess. And God gave him the name of a man who he knew, a Christian man. And Smith Wigglesworth said, this man was the poorest man financially in our congregation. And the Spirit of God said, go talk to Brother Smith, you know, whatever his name was, go talk to Brother Smith. And Smith Wigglesworth goes, he couldn't help me. He's. He's the most needy man financially in our congregation. But the Spirit of God said it. The spirit of God directed him. So he followed that. And it didn't make any sense, but when he went to this man and he just said, I don't know what, what the spirit of God or why he's leading me to you, but God said to, to come and contact you today. And so he said, I'm just obeying what the Spirit of God said. And this man said, Smith Wigglesworth, he said, I just came into an inheritance yesterday. And he said, I knew that this was to seed for someone else. And, and this. See, the Holy Ghost will lead you to do things that don't make sense. But if you'll obey the Holy Ghost, he will always lead you into your help and your provision. Why? Because in Christ, God's divine direction belongs to you. The leading of the Spirit belongs to you. And so the part that we have as one in Christ is to obey the leading of the Spirit. Because on the other end of obedience is our help, our victory. Amen. So we're going to keep going along this line of what it means to live in Christ. And so you don't want to miss upcoming episodes. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

Episode: 823 | In Christ I Can, Part 63
Release Date: August 27, 2025
Host: Nancy Dufresne
This episode centers on understanding what belongs to believers “in Christ,” specifically focusing on how one’s identity in Christ impacts spiritual victory, healing, provision, and practical daily life. Nancy Dufresne emphasizes the necessity of not just knowing but acknowledging every good thing that is available in Christ, acting in faith, and obeying the leading of the Holy Spirit to see those promises manifest.
Power is always present for healing for those in need, irrespective of their location.
"There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one. ... Say I receive that power." (00:10)
Believers are born into God’s realm—the spirit realm and the faith realm—which is superior to the natural, changeable world.
"We're not just sentenced to live life in this natural realm ... we're born into another realm, God's realm, the faith realm, the spirit realm. And that's the highest realm." (02:00)
Just as a new job requires training, the Christian life requires skillfulness in understanding and acting upon who you are in Christ.
"The more skillful you are at those skills that are connected to that position, the less you struggle. ... We have to become skillful with who He is in us and who we are in Him." (01:15)
Struggle persists when believers lack knowledge or skill in living out their identity in Christ.
The natural (seen) realm is temporary and changeable. The spiritual realm (God’s Word, faith) is eternal and unchangeable:
"If you can see it, if you can feel it, if you can touch it, it's changeable. ... But the things which are not seen are eternal." (04:10)
Change in natural circumstances comes by focusing on and drawing from the spirit realm, not by obsessing over what is presently visible or felt.
Faith is likened to bringing an empty basket to the market: you come expecting to take something home.
"When faith goes to market, she takes a basket with her, right? Because she expects she's going to get something." (06:04)
Everything needed is already stocked in Christ—health, provision, wisdom. Faith “picks up” what’s needed from this supply.
Everything God offers—victory, provision, healing—is found in Christ, and believers must learn to speak and think as those who are in Christ.
"We have to learn the language of in Christ. ... We have to learn the speech of in Christ, we have to learn the thoughts of in Christ." (11:40)
Acknowledgment is essential: Simply possessing something in Christ does not manifest it; you must acknowledge it.
"Your faith goes into effect when you acknowledge who you are in Christ. ... In Christ has to be acknowledged. ... What belongs to you in Christ doesn't manifest simply because you're in Christ." (12:40)
The verse Philemon 1:6 is foundational:
"That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you, in Christ Jesus." (13:15)
Practical application: Instead of focusing speech on lack, pain, or symptoms, believers are instructed to say:
"In Christ, I have all the money I need to pay my bills." (14:30) "Thank God I'm free from pain because I'm in Christ." (14:10)
Whatever you consistently acknowledge will manifest—whether good or negative.
"If we talk about pain, we have more pain. ... But if you'll talk as one in Christ, then that's what will flow." (10:55)
What you acknowledge today shapes not only your present but also your tomorrow.
"What you acknowledge today, it fills your day, but it also will move into your future." (19:25)
Faith without corresponding action is incomplete.
"Faith is obedience. Faith is an action. ... So our part as one in Christ is to speak words of faith and have actions of obedience." (23:51)
Example of Kenneth Copeland’s $50,000 Seed:
"In Christ, I have it, and in Christ I can give it." (21:45)
Example of Smith Wigglesworth:
"The Holy Ghost will lead you to do things that don't make sense. But if you'll obey ... he will always lead you into your help and your provision." (26:00)
On the necessity to use the right language:
"Symptoms are nothing but the temptation to talk as one outside of Christ. And I'm not outside of Christ. I'm in Christ. I refuse to talk as one outside of Christ." (15:35)
On manifesting God's promises:
"It's only the things you acknowledge as yours in Christ are the only ones God can manifest. If you don't acknowledge that you're healed, God can't manifest that." (16:45)
On God’s method of teaching:
"You can learn something through sickness, but that's not God's way of teaching you. God's way of teaching you is through His Word. God's way of teaching you is not through tragedy, hardship, crisis, suffering." (18:00)
On “movement” and faith:
"Just like you can't steer a parked car, God can't steer your life without movement. He needs the movement of faith." (25:09)
Nancy Dufresne encourages listeners to:
The episode concludes by affirming that Jesus is the healer and inviting listeners to deepen their understanding of their life “in Christ” for total victory in spirit, soul, and body.
