There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the healer. Thank you for taking the time to sit and receive of the Word of God, because it is time well spent. You know, it's such a privilege that we get to sow the Word into our hearts. But can I say this? Our minds need the Word of God too, because our minds need the renewing that only happens by sitting under the Word and taking the thoughts of the Word. You know, someone may ask, what do you mean, Pastor Nancy, by the renewing of the mind? Well, In Romans, chapter 12 and verse 2, Paul made this statement. He said, be not conformed to to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of the mind. And so we see this, that once you were born again, God did something with your spirit. He gave you a brand new spirit. Your spirit is a container. It's the dwelling place of the life of God, the ability of God, the goodness of God. Everything connected with God resides in your spirit because his nature is now in you if you're born again. But he did something with our spirits. But the Word instructs us that we're to do something with our minds. And we can do something with our minds because he gave us his own thoughts by giving us his word. So what it is to have a renewed mind, it means to take on God's way of thinking. That if we're thinking a certain way, a certain direction, and we see by feeding on God's Word that it's not in line with how God thinks. We lay down our own thinking and we take on the thoughts of God, we begin to think like him. And that's called the renewing of the mind. And let me say this, being born again will translate you from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of his dear Son. But we have to do something with this thought life while we're in this world. And if we don't renew our minds, our lives will look like those who are unsaved. We'll still have troubled minds. We won't always think right. And how many of you know wrong? Thinking is an open door to the devil, but right thinking is an open door to God. Well, what's right thinking? It's taking on the thoughts of the Word. So we're so grateful we get to come to you and we share together, we teach and we learn together what it means and what the thoughts of God look like so that we can take on the thoughts of God and make them our own. So that's what I mean when I say not only does your spirit need the word of God, but your mind needs the word of God. I love what James said. He said, receive with meekness the engrafted word which is able. Look at this. To save your souls. He's writing this letter to Christians and he says they're born again, but their souls aren't saved yet. What's that mean? Their thinking is not yet in line with how God thinks. So he was saying that they are to receive. Receive with meekness. What's that mean? Be teachable. Be willing to be led. So he's saying, receive with meekness the engrafted word which is able to save your souls. So I love this word he uses, Engrafted. The engrafted word. What's that mean? It's taking root in you. It's not just something you're mentally holding to, but in your heart. And when it gets. When it gets sown into your heart and you meditate on that Word, then it begins to also govern the way you think. And then he says that there are Christians, that they're born again, but their souls aren't saved. So that's a separate thing that we're responsible to do. And the good thing about it, God gave us His Word so that we can take that Word and we do something with this thought life. So it is such a privilege to bring the Word to you because it's an ongoing occupation for every believer for the rest of our life to renew our mind. There's never a time that we say, oh, I've arrived at a renewed mind, the ongoing in feeding or the feeding of the Word, that indwelling of the Word to keep right thoughts in place. Because constantly the flow of the world around us is wrong thinking. And we have to safeguard our minds and our thought lives by feeding on the Word. So it's such a joy that we get to feed on the Word together. And I would say this to you, get something to take notes on. We don't want you to let slip from you anything God may say to you. And while I'm preaching, if something seems to speak to you, something seems to stand out to you, take note of it. Because the Holy Ghost wants to stalk your heart and your life with what the help of the Word brings. And when something speaks to us, even if we're not aware that we need it right now, at some point we're going to need it. So we don't want what God may say to you to be lost. So take a note, write it down. Amen, get your Bible and follow along with us. Because it's only the Word that we get in us that will change our life. It's not enough to just get it in our minds. We have to let it find its root in our heart. And so as we feed on the Word together and listen to these broadcasts, and I could say this, listen over and over to one particular broadcast that may speak to you, because that's one way we meditate on the Word. We keep hearing and hearing and hearing. And we have been, my goodness, on a topic in this, in this series for, I don't, well, over 60 episodes that we're teaching on in Christ. And I just seem to keep being led to, to keep. Continue to go this direction. And so we're just going to keep feeding and feeding and feeding that direction because that's one way, through repetition, that we can drive this Word into our spirit. And once it lands in our spirit and in the we think, then it starts governing our lives. Amen. So we have been using in this series a testimony that Brother Kenneth Copeland gave. And he told about the time when in the early 1970s, he was just learning the truths of prosperity. Him and Sister Gloria were believing God to become debt free. And God commanded something of him. God said, I want you to sow 50 to Kenneth Hagin's ministry. Now, $50,000 is a lot today, but really, can you think of 50 years ago how significant that amount would be, especially to someone who's in debt. So Brother Copeland, of course, did not have that amount in his own checkbook, in his own resources. But I so love the skill of Brother Copeland's answer to what God commanded of him. When God said, I want you to sow 50,000 dol to Kenneth Hagin's ministry. Brother Copeland did not respond to God based on his checking account he responded to him based on the Word. And I so love the skill of Brother Copeland's answer, because when God commanded that of him, Brother Copeland said, in Christ I have it, and in Christ I can give it. So notice in this testimony, what Brother Copeland's thoughts and words went to first was what I have in Christ, not what I have in my checking account. And this is something that we have to renew our minds in that we are in Christ, and we have everything in Christ. But outside of Christ, all we have is our flesh. All we have is our own ability. So why would we live a. If I could say it this way, a version of life that is less than who we are in Christ. So we need to train our thoughts to answer based on. I can do that in Christ. And why is it? Because it's Christ in me. He does the work. You know, that's what Jesus said. He said, my Father in me, he does the works. He, Jesus confessed that. He wasn't just announcing that to the people. It was an announcement to the people, but it was also a confession that he recognized it's not what I have, it's what the one in me brings through me. And so you have everything in you that Jesus had in him. Why? Because you're the temple of the Holy Ghost. Jesus was anointed with the Holy Ghost. He was filled with the Holy Ghost, the Holy Ghost on the inside of you. If you're born again, the life of God, the eternal life of God, the nature of God. You have the fruits of the spirit, you have God's word being sown into your heart, into your mind, and it's to reach your mouth. And you have the exact same resources that Jesus had. Well, and Jesus made the statement, my Father in me, he does the works. And we're to say, the greater one in Me, he's doing the works. And this was the skill of Brother Copeland's answer that day when he said, in Christ I have it, and in Christ I can give it. That is a spiritual mental habit that we have to give ourselves, that we go automatically to who we are in Christ instead of who we are in the natural. Just know this. The devil is constantly trying to point back to who you are in the flesh, who you are in the natural, because he's trying to separate your thinking and your words from in Christ. But we have to train ourselves. I'm in him and he's in me. And therefore, I am the channel that the greater one flows through. God has commanded many things of our lives. And why is that because he has many things he wants to perform through our lives, he formed a plan for each and every one of us. And he put that plan, he joined that plan to our spirits. And he never intended for you to fulfill the greatness of his plan. Apart from him, in fact, apart from him, we can't fulfill his plan. His plan requires his movement. It requires his ability. It requires the faith of God that's on the inside of us. It requires God's own greatness to manifest through us. So God gave us his plan because he intends to fulfill that plan through us. But we just have to yield to the greater one. We have to draw on the greater one that's on the inside. And that's exactly what Brother Copeland did that day when he said, in Christ I have it, and in Christ I can give it. Now, Brother Copeland recognized that in Christ he could partake of what he could not partake of outside of Christ. And so there was this $50,000 offering that God wanted to perform through Brother Copeland's hands. Now look at that. God wanted to perform it through his hands. And the genius of God and the goodness of God is so amazing because he gives Brother Copeland this command. Give Brother Hagin $50,000. And then God intends to fulfill it through him. And then turn around and bless Brother Copeland with a harvest on what God performed. Brother Copeland didn't perform it. God performed it. But he gave him the harvest as though he was the one performing it. He wasn't the one that performed it, but he was the channel God performed it through. And so the goodness of God is such that he does the work, then turns around and blesses us because we allowed him to do the work through us. My, my, my, what a deal. Take that deal every day of your life. That means that when God commands something of you, it's because he's ready to perform it through you. Now listen to that. When God commands something of you, it's because he's ready to perform it through you. And evidently, you have the faith to allow him to perform something through you, or he would have never commanded it of you. And so he knew that Brother Copeland had the faith to allow God to perform that offering through his hands. Brother Copeland didn't have it in his hands at that moment, but God intended to bring it through his hands. And so what you have to realize is that Brother Copeland, he took an action meaning this. When God commands something of us, we are to immediately say, the greater one in me is going to perform that. But what is our part? First of all we have to say and believe that the greater one in us is doing the work. But it also calls for our obedience, meaning we have an action to take. Brother Copeland didn't just say in Christ I have it, in Christ I can give it. And then did nothing. He took an action after that. What was the action he took? He took the amount he did have and he made movement. He took just coins out of his daily, out of his daily spending. If he broke a dollar bill while he was at a store and they gave him change at the end of every day, he would put that change in a box and he dog eared that amount that he's going to send that to Brother Copeland, I mean to Brother Hagin. He did that day after day after day notice. He wasn't trying to accumulate $50,000. He was taking actions of faith. Because by taking actions of faith now God can fill those actions with his abundance, his provision, his ability. So when we say we're in Christ and we speak that we think in terms of that. We also have to give God something to move through an act of faith. Why is that? Well, you know this, you cannot steer a parked car. God can't either. And we can't just sit inactive and do nothing and think we're going to arrive at something. We have to put our hand to something. We have to ha take an action that God can gain movement through. So every day Brother Copeland did not try to accumulate $50,000. He just acted on what he had in his hand that day. And he would take the coins at the end of the day, put them in that box. After a time when that box was full, he would take that and mail it off to Kenneth Hagin's ministry. And after several times of doing that, he had no idea how much he had given. So he called their office and asked how much he had given. And they said, well, you've given well over $50,000. Brother Copeland said, I know that there were not coming through my hands the coins enough to total over $50,000. But what was it when he took an action and used and gave movement to what he did have in his hand, God's movement made up the difference. God is not looking for us to perform it. He's looking for us to take an action that he can fill with his own provision, with his own abundance. And so he had in mind to perform this through Brother Copeland. But he had to get Brother Copeland's agreement. So know this, your agreement begins with the words you say when God tells something or commands Something of your life. Don't go to. Well, how am I going to do that? Don't go to a question. Go first to who's in you. Talk about who's in you. The Word tells us, I can do all things. Look at this. Through Christ, who strengthens me. Notice this. I can do all things through Christ. I can't do all things apart from him, but with me, allowing him to flow through me, he's the One that can do all things. And then I get to be involved in the impossible things that were impossible to me, but completely doable and possible with Him. So he brings us into a greater flow than we could have ever experienced on our own. And then he turns around and rewards us. It's such a deal. I tell you. It's such a deal. Do not allow your mind to rob you of your agreement with what God commands. Because when God commands something of your life, it's only because he wants to perform something through you. Amen. And so I so love that testimony that Brother Copeland gave, because I saw so clearly in Christ everything is possible. Outside of Christ, everything is impossible. And so we just have to develop the mindset. I'm in him, and he's in Me. And we don't wait for the crisis moments of life or the emergency moments of life before we start drawing on who we are in Christ. We're to live that way every day. Why? Is it because Acts 17:28 says this? In him we live. In him we move. And in him we have our being. Notice this. God didn't leave Himself out of any of that. He fills all of that with Himself. How we live, how we move, and in our very being. It's Him. He's the source of it. He's the One that fills our movement. He's the One that is going to manifest in our daily life. Life. But what do we have to do? We have to learn to say, today he's moving through me. Today he's working through Me. Today he's blessing through Me. Today the Provider is is manifesting through Me. The Healer is manifesting through me. So know this. You are simply the channel. God does not need just human ability added to his, because he intends to bring all the ability. But he does need our agreement. He does need a vessel that he can pour through. And this is what Jesus said. He said, my Father, in Me, he does the works. So notice this. Jesus was so skillful at letting God manifest through Him. Can I tell you, that's a skill every single one of us must develop. Become skillful at allowing God to manifest, perform and bless through us. Because all God needs is our agreement. Why is that? I love something that dad Hagin, Brother Hagin was a spiritual father to my husband and I for decades. And dad Hagin would also often say this. He said, God is a perfect gentleman. He will not ever force his way upon anyone. Notice this. God does not force the sinner to be born again. God just offers it. God makes it available. Well, I want you to know, everything that's in Christ, he has made available to us, but he won't force it on us. We have to respond to what he's made available. And this is a lifestyle with us, a lifestyle of responding that we're. We are authorized to get up and say, in the day, Christ is in me today. In fact, he's so much in me that I'm hid in him that he becomes visible. And it's not so much what I can perform, but it's what I yield to the one in me to perform. And so God intends that his own ability flow through you, his own blessing flow through you. As we are mindful to allow him to flow, then we're giving him the opportunity to fill up our actions and our days with his movement. And I tell you, when God starts moving, everything gets elevated, right? Everything changes. Nothing stays the same. When God is able to manifest and perform his greatness through us. And I so appreciate that God's plan included us. It did not bypass us. Listen, God is all ability. He is all knowing, and he so loves us that he said, I want to perform through them. Then I'll turn around and bless them for allowing me to be the channel. For allowing for them being a channel that he could work through. Now think of this. You remember there was a famine in the land in the days of Elijah. And God told Elijah, go dwell by the brook cherith. And he drank water of that brook. And every day, twice a day, birds brought him meat and bread. What do we know about this bread? It was already fully cooked. They brought him bread that had already been prepared, prepared for someone else. And the birds brought it from one location to another location. Know this, God will God use animals. God will use anything available to him. And so these birds, twice a day, they brought the prophet of God meat. They brought him bread. But one day, the brook that he was dwelling by, it dried up. And notice that Elijah recognized when the brook dries up, evidently God has a different location for me to go to. So then he said, the brook has dried up. Where do I go next. Listen, don't stay by a dried up place. There's always a place, a further place God wants to take you. And God spoke to him and he said, I have commanded a widow woman in Zarephath to sustain thee. So notice this, he said, I've been using birds, but now I found a widow woman. And what God didn't tell him this was a starving widow woman. And God didn't tell the prophet that this was a starving widow woman with a son, that she's responsible to take care of this boy, even though she's still a widow. And so the prophet gets up, he travels to the city where God told him to go, and he finds this woman. And he tells her when he finds her, he says, go, bring me something to drink. And so she goes. And as she's on her way, he calls after her and says, and bring me a little bit of cake in your hand, meaning this, A piece of bread that she would make out of her own resources. Notice. Could God have kept using birds to supply the prophet of God? Absolutely. But God's not just looking to bless birds. He wants to bless anyone who will be a channel he can flow through. And you know the outcome of that. She needed a miracle for her and her household. God doesn't find people who have their own provision to give a command to. He finds someone that needs a miracle and says, if you'll let me be, if you'll let me work through you, flow through you, if you'll be a channel that I can move through, then I'll turn around and bless you with something you never could have gotten on your own. And so whenever this widow woman, whenever she agreed with God, she agreed with the command of God and she brought that prophet the drink, brought him the food. It says that her and her household ate many days. See, when God shows up, God doesn't just have one day of provision in mind. He has many days of miracle power, many days of manifestation. He's not just thinking of today, he thinking of future days and future generations. Because that little boy that was hers, he was starving along with his mother. But he got to partake of miracle power. Miracle provision, a miracle flow. And one day it'll be interesting to get to talk to that little boy in heaven and say, what was it like to receive of a miracle flow every day after that, that time that your mama allowed her to be the channel that God could work through. Listen, God has miracles in mind for power in mind for you. Not just one day, but every day that that widow woman partook of miracle power every single day after that because she was a channel. Do you know what? God dwells in you because he wants you to allow him to flow and manifest and he'll turn around and bless you with things you never would have had if you had not allowed him to manifest through you. So learn this. Begin to say every day Christ is in me. He's moving through me, he's performing through me. I'm in him, he's in me. And God is manifesting through my life. It's not about what I have, it's about who I have in me and I'm going to put him to work for me and life will be different. Amen. Well, you don't want to miss next time because we're going to keep going going this direction. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the Healer. God bless you.

In this rich teaching episode, Nancy Dufresne continues her “In Christ I Can” series, emphasizing the believer’s position and capabilities in Christ. This installment explores the vital concept of renewing the mind with God’s Word, the importance of meditating on and acting in faith, and living daily with a consciousness of Christ within. Through scripture exposition, personal testimony, and practical advice, Nancy encourages listeners to move beyond their own limitations and engage in the supernatural lifestyle that comes with being “in Christ.” A memorable teaching detailed the story of Kenneth Copeland’s faith action in sowing a significant offering when it seemed impossible—demonstrating how God’s instructions are accompanied by His provision and power.
“Power is present. That power is there to do a work… Say, I receive that power. I receive it right now.” — Nancy Dufresne ([00:18])
Why the Mind Must Be Renewed, Not Just the Spirit ([00:53]–[05:50])
“Be ye transformed by the renewing of the mind.”
“We have to do something with this thought life while we’re in this world. If we don’t renew our minds, our lives will look like those who are unsaved… Wrong thinking is an open door to the devil, but right thinking is an open door to God.” — Nancy Dufresne ([02:40])
The Engrafted Word and Saving the Soul
“Receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.” — Nancy Dufresne paraphrasing James ([04:20])
Renewing the Mind is a Lifelong Process
“There’s never a time that we say, ‘Oh, I’ve arrived at a renewed mind’; it’s an ongoing occupation for every believer…” ([05:25])
Testimony of Obedience and Supply ([06:45]–[14:00])
“‘In Christ I have it, and in Christ I can give it.’ Notice… what Brother Copeland’s thoughts and words went to first was what I have in Christ, not what I have in my checking account.” ([08:20])
Acting in Faith, Not Just Speaking
“He took the amount he did have and made movement… at the end of every day, he would put that change in a box… He was taking actions of faith, because by taking actions of faith, now God can fill those actions with His abundance.” ([13:00])
God Performs, We Receive the Harvest
“He does the work, then turns around and blesses us because we allowed Him to do the work through us. My, my, my, what a deal. Take that deal every day of your life.” ([14:55])
Responding to God’s Instructions
“When God commands something of you, it’s because He’s ready to perform it through you… don’t go to ‘How am I going to do that?’ Go first to who’s in you.” ([16:45])
Agreement and Obedience
“Your agreement begins with the words you say when God tells or commands something of your life.” ([18:25])
Jesus’ Example ([19:45])
“Jesus said, ‘My Father in me, He does the works.’ …We’re to say, ‘The Greater One in Me, He’s doing the works.’”
Elijah and the Widow of Zarephath ([23:15])
“Could God have kept using birds to supply the prophet? Absolutely. But God’s not just looking to bless birds. He wants to bless anyone who will be a channel He can flow through.” ([25:20])
Miracle Provision is for Every Day
“When God shows up, God doesn’t just have one day of provision in mind. He has many days of miracle power, many days of manifestation.” ([26:00])
Practical Encouragement
“Begin to say every day, ‘Christ is in me. He’s moving through me, He’s performing through me. I’m in Him, He’s in me, and God is manifesting through my life.’ It’s not about what I have, it’s about Who I have in me…” ([26:50])
On the necessity of both heart and thought renewal:
“Our minds need the Word of God too, because our minds need the renewing that only happens by sitting under the Word and taking the thoughts of the Word.” — Nancy Dufresne ([01:00])
On practical meditation:
“Listen over and over to one particular broadcast… that’s one way we meditate on the Word.” ([06:00])
On faith and obedience:
“You cannot steer a parked car. God can’t either.” ([13:40])
On the generosity of God:
“The goodness of God is such that He does the work, then turns around and blesses us because we allowed Him to do the work through us.” ([14:48])
On our daily confession:
“We are authorized to get up and say, in the day, Christ is in me today.” ([21:35])
On God’s desire to channel blessing:
“God does not need just human ability added to His, because He intends to bring all the ability. But He does need our agreement.” ([22:00])
On the widow’s obedience:
“God didn’t find someone with their own provision to give a command to; He finds someone that needs a miracle…” ([25:36])
Nancy Dufresne powerfully motivates believers to live daily reminded of Who is in them. “In Christ, I have it. In Christ, I can do it,” becomes not just a confession but a call to continual belief and obedient action. God’s provision is never limited to our resources; instead, He seeks our agreement and faith steps, performing His miraculous work in and through us. Listeners are encouraged to feed continually on the Word, keep their minds renewed, and act in faith—becoming skillful channels for God’s life, provision, and power.
