There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now. I receive it right now from the top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the Healer. We are still continuing on with the. The series. We've been on now for a while. I don't know when it's going to end. So how. I just don't ever tell you that it's going to be ending. We don't know when it's going to end. I think it's going to end. And then we come back into the studio and we have more that God's showing us. And so we're. We're just delighted that God is taking us this direction. We've been teaching on in Christ. And really, could we ever reach the end of teaching on this pro. Probably not. Just because everything heaven planned for us, he put in Christ. And so how do you reach the end of all of that? You just don't. We just are, Lear. We're discovering. We're finding out what. What is ours in Christ. Why is that? So we'll live as rich as we are instead of struggling to have something, get something, receive something. When we know all that he's made ours in Christ, it takes all the struggle out of living. And God never planned anything but the good life for us. And the way he stocked our life with the good life is he put everything in Christ, then put Christ in us. It's. It's my, my, my. This is the wisdom of God. And this is what the prophets of old longed to look in and see in. But God revealed that through the Pauline revelations. And when I say Pauline, what are the Pauline revelations? It's the things God showed Paul. And that's what, you know, scholars and theologians will call the Pauline revelations because it's what God showed Paul. And we need to discover that. You know, people will realize this sometimes. They'll say things, things that Jesus taught when he was here in his earthly ministry. And things that what Paul taught sometimes will contradict each other. And people who aren't understanding of this will say, well, who's right? Jesus or Paul? And they'll say, well, Jesus is always right. Well, Jesus was speaking as those under the, under the Old Testament in some regard, and Paul was speaking to those under the new covenant. So they were both right. But Paul was able to reveal further revelation. Not because he had more revelation than Jesus, but it wasn't time for Jesus to say some things. Remember what Jesus said. He said, there are things I have to say to you, but you're not ready to hear. What did he do? He said them through Paul. And so we can see this, that Paul wasn't wrong and Jesus wasn't wrong. If there seems to be a contradiction in things that they taught because they were both right in the day they were teaching him. So we go to the things that God has shown Paul, the revelation that God gave Paul, and we see they're not contrary to what Jesus said, but it's something that God could unfold under the new covenant that he couldn't unfold under the old covenant. So just know this. Everything that God has for us in Christ, that's where the wisdom of God is. So when we come into the understanding of who we are in Christ, what belongs to us because we're in Christ, and what we can do because we're in Christ, we're learning the wisdom of God, because in Christ is all the wisdom of God. Amen. Now, in the previous episode, we looked at Colossians 2, 3. I want us to go back there and I'm going to read out of the Amplified Classic translation. It says this in him or in Christ, all the treasures of divine wisdom, comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God, and all the riches of spiritual knowledge and enlightenment are stored up and lie hidden. So how many of you know Paul is revealing some of this? The Spirit of God is showing this to Paul and he's saying that, let me read it to you this way. Without all the inserted words, in him or in Christ, all the treasures and, and knowledge and enlightenment are stored up and lie hidden. So what's that mean? We need to dive into in Christ what belongs to Him. Because when we do that, we come into the wisdom of God, who he has, what he's made ours, and what belongs to us because we're in Christ. If we could say this. Learning this and studying this does not give us more of what's ours in Christ. But it helps us to discover what's already ours. We don't earn something in Christ. It's already in us. It already belongs to us. But as we study it, we find out what belongs to us so that we can partake of it. It's not enough to possess it, we have to partake of it. And so many people, when they get to heaven, I'm talking about Christians, are going to be awfully disappointed when they get to heaven and realize, I should. I could have partaken of so much more on the earth. I don't want to get to heaven and see what I could have had and didn't discover. And so this is why we're spending the time to minister along this line. Because so many people are trying to get God to move for them, trying to get God to do something for them, trying to get God to send something. And it's already all theirs in Christ and it's available for the taking. But people are just still waiting on God's part. Now know this. God has a part. Man has a part. God in the new covenant, God's part's already done. All that's left is our part. So we have to discover. Now notice here, why do we have to discover it? Well, here in Colossians 2, verse 3, the last phrase says that in Christ the treasures of wisdom and knowledge and enlightenment are stored up, look at this and lie hidden meaning. We have to put forth some effort, some desire, so that we can discover what's ours. God's not keeping it from us, but he's keeping it for us. And you say, why is he doing that? Remember what Jesus said when he was here in his earthly ministry. He said, don't cast your pearls before the swine. What's he talking about? He's not calling people swine. He's saying this, that when someone doesn't honor something, don't give it to them because they're not honorable enough to receive it. Now, let's just go and let's be literal about that statement. When he says swine, he's talking, of course, about pigs, hogs. And if you went into a pig pen where there was a herd of swine kept, and you laid before them, Today's newspaper and you say, piggy, piggy. Here is what men say. This is what all men know right here. This is what's happening with current events. In case you didn't know it, I have a studio audience in here. And they're laughing right now, silently, because they're not allowed to make A sound, but they're laughing. Cause I said piggy, piggy. You got the point, right? Biggie? Biggie. Here's what men say. This is what's going on today in the lives of men. This is current events right here in that newspaper. And you lay it out before them. And you say, now everything that's recorded in this newspaper is changing. Tomorrow I'll bring you a new one. Tomorrow, right? Or after you lay out that newspaper in front of those. That swine. And you say, now you. Here's a Bible. I lay this out. This is words from God. This is what God has made man's. This is the truth of heaven. This is the truth of all men because it's true for all men whether they receive it or not. This is the mind of God. This will change your life. This will translate you from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of his dear Son. And you lay it out before a pig. And you lay it all out there. And you know what? That pig will treat the newspaper and that Bible the exact same. Why, it holds no difference for them. One's not more honorable to them than the next. They'll lay over it, they'll chew it, they'll walk over it. It means nothing to them. Based on. They're not creatures of honor. Right. That's what Jesus is saying. Don't take something of great honor and lay it before someone who doesn't honor. Because the honorable things of God are for people who long for it. They desire what Jesus said. He said, those who hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled. God's not going to reveal these things to people who don't want them. Amen. There. You say, are there people who don't want the wisdom of God? Sure there are. But that's not us. We want it. That's why it lies hidden for those who hunger and thirst for it. And they discover it. They. They take, if I could say this, their own desire to know God better. To know what he's made theirs. And they discover it. More will unfold. What can. What can I say to you about this? Let's say it this way. The greater our honor, the greater God can show us things. If we want to see more honor more. Can I say this to you? Only the part of the Word that we honor is the only part that will work for us. Now know this. All of the Word works, but for us. Only the part we honor will work for us. What do I mean by that? You know, if someone doesn't honor Jesus as healer, they Won't receive healing. Although healing belongs to them, they won't receive it. Why? Because you can't dishonor the Word and have it work for you. You have to honor the Word. Right? The Bible says this. God spoke and says, those who honor me, I'll honor. What's that mean? The facet of God. The flow of God that we honor will turn around and honor us by flowing right. When we honor Jesus as the healer, healing will flow. When we honor Jesus as our provider, provision will flow. If people are against prosperity, they're against provision. God's not mad at them. It's just that you can't receive of what you don't honor. What's that mean? Honor is a receiver. If we need to receive more, honor the Word more, dive into it, study it, make it yours. Treat the Word with honor, and the Word will treat you honorably. Amen. And so this is why it says that the treasures of wisdom, knowledge, understanding, they're stored up in Christ and they lie hidden. Let's not leave it hidden to our life. Let's dive in. Let's discover it. Show God we're interested. If we're. I've said this before, it's so true. And we have to understand this. God will allow us to have everything we're okay with, meaning this. If we're. If we're okay with having bodies that are less than whole, God will let us have that. If we're okay with having children that talk back to us, God will let us have that. But that doesn't mean that's what he wants for us. So what's that mean? We have to have. We have to honor what God wants for us enough to cause our desires to equal his desires. Let's not let our desires come below what he desires for us. Let's desire for ourselves everything he desires for us. When we do that, we'll dive into the Word. We won't leave things hidden from us. We'll discover them because they're all revealed by the Holy Ghost through the Word of God. And can I say this? It takes. These are divine words we're dealing with when we're teaching the Word of God. These are divine thoughts. They're the thoughts of God. They're the thinking of God. It's how God. It's the ways of God. And we have to. We have to realize that to dive into divine words, we need divine help. And the Holy Spirit is the divine Teacher to unfold these divine words to us. What's this mean? You can't just read the Word of God mentally and just let it wash through the mind. It needs to be processed through the Holy Ghost within us. That we receive this into our heart, that we depend on the Holy Spirit. We say holy Spirit, the wealth of the thoughts of God, the mind of God, the Word of God, the wisdom of God is so vast my mind cannot dive into it by itself and receive it all. It takes divine help. It takes a flow of the Spirit, my Spirit and the Holy Spirit receiving. See, our mind needs the Word, but our spirits need the Word. The Word is. It's food for our spirits, but it has to be received by our spirits. So that means we don't just mentally read these things. It means that we take them in through our spirit. I love something that Smith Wigglesworth said. Smith Wigglesworth was an English preacher. His ministry was on the forefront in the first half of the 1900s. And he said this. He didn't mean it in a critical way or in a way that was wrong. But he said some like to read the Word, the word of God in Hebrew. Some like to read it in Greek. He said, I like to read it in the Holy Ghost. What's he mean? He's saying it's not just what my mind can calculate, but it's what the spirit unveils. It's good to. I'm not educated in the direction of being able to read the Word in Greek or Hebrew. What's that mean? I have to rely on the Holy Spirit too. But you can read it in Greek, read it in Hebrew, but don't leave out the Holy Ghost. That's what Smith Wigglesworth was saying. Because this is not a. This is not a mental book. This is a spirit breathed spirit born words of God. And it takes the Holy Spirit to reveal it to us and show it. Now with that being true, it takes the Holy Ghost to reveal to us what is ours in Christ. We can't just read the words on a page and we. And we grab it. We have to have the Holy Spirit to open up the eyes of our spirit to see it, to understand it, to partake of it. Now know this. The natural sight of man, the body of man. We have five physical senses, right? We can see, we can hear, we can touch, we can smell, we can taste. Well, just like the physical body has senses, do you know your spiritual body has senses. You have eyes of your. The eyes of your spirit. You have a hand, the hand of faith that receives from God. You can hear not with his outer ear, but with Your spirit. That's how we hear from God. He speaks to our spirit and our spirit. Man hears that. Why? Because the spirit of man has senses, just like the body of man has senses. And the spiritual senses are far more accurate than our physical senses. And our spiritual senses are to govern us more than our physical senses. Meaning this. Your physical senses, your. You know, you can. You can look at your body and say, hmm, nothing's changed in that arm. Maybe that arm needs healing. You go, nothing's changed. But wait a minute. The eyes of my spirit see me as healed. So you let your spiritual senses dominate your physical senses. Why is that? Because the spiritual realm is more real and more true than the physical realm. Amen. What's the Word say? That this realm is temporal, but the spirit realm is eternal. And so we are having to not just discover who we are in Christ through this physical realm. Can't do it. You have to have the eyes of your spirit enlightened. You have to see some things that dawn on your spirit. And you have to hear the unveiling and the teaching that the Holy Spirit brings. Not that you heard it here, but in your spirit, you heard it. Amen. So we know this, that the spirit man has senses. And that's where it has to dawn on us. When you see it with your spirit now, it can manifest in this realm. Until it dawns on your spirit, it won't manifest in this realm. Let me explain it to you this way. God deals with us through our spirit. He heals our body through our spirit. He reveals his word to us not through our mind, but through our spirit. But once it. Once it dawns on our spirit, if we could say this, it floats up and enlightens our mind. It manifests in the body as healing. Right? But everything, God, when his dealings with man, they all come through the spirit of man. They don't come through the mind of man. They don't come through the body of man. You are a threefold being. Now, I want to say this. It's really important that we learn to use Bible terminology. If we just use terminology that's different from the Word, sometimes we can leave a wrong understanding with people. We are not a three part being. I'm not part spirit, part soul, part body. I am all spirit, all soul, all body. I'm a complete body, I'm a complete spirit. And my soul is complete spirit, soul and body. That's what the soul of man is. The mind, the will and the emotions. So every part of that is complete. So I'm not part this, part that, part this, the whole. The spirit of man is complete, the body of man complete, the soul of man complete. So we're threefold being. Does that make sense to you? So don't look at yourself as a part. I'm not a part. I'm a threefold being. Now, when God spoke in Genesis and he said, let us make man in our image, what fold of being was he talking about? He was talking about the spirit being. We are. That's what is created. In his image is the spirit of man. Now why did he create us as spirit beings? We are a spirit. We have a soul which is our mind, will and emotions. And we live in a body. So we're a threefold being. But each one of those are complete. Now why did God make us a spirit? Because he's a spirit. Jesus said when he was speaking to the woman at the well, he said, God is a spirit and those that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Why did God make us a spirit being? So we could fellowship with him on his level. Not on a mental level, not on a physical level, but spirit to spirit. Now things, when God is wanting to bring us into revelation knowledge, it has to dawn on our spirits. It's not just a mental grasping. And that's why people who are highly analytical struggle with this, because they want to in their mind grab it. And your. Your spirit can believe things your mind cannot grasp. Because the mind has limitations. But the spirit of man is unlimited. You understand that? The spirit of man is unlimited. Why? Because we're created in the image of God, which is a spirit being, and he's unlimited. Our spirit is unlimited, but the mind of man can have limitations on it. Now we can undo those limitations. We can go past those limitations if we will let our spirit dominate us. But if our mind is going to dominate us, our mind will limit the way we live. But our spirit, if we let our spirit dominate us, we can live unlimited that the impossible becomes possible. But if you're going to live out of the mental arena, things will stay impossible to you. But if you'll live out of your spirit, then things that look impossible are completely possible. Because our spirit has no limits on it. Because our spirit's created in the image of God. Now, when God is moving to, if I could say this, bring us into divine health, that's going to show up first in our spirit, not in our body. When God is going to provide for us and bring us into a greater full provision, that's not going to show up in our finances first. It's going to show up in our spirit. Because God deals with us through our spirits. Now, how many of you know the devil deals with you through your mind or through your body? He wants to affect the mind and the body. But know this. You have to get the placement and the order of your being correct. You are a spirit. You have or possess a soul. And you live in a body. Your spirit is to be master. Your soul is to be servant. And your body is to be slave. Now know this. Your spirit is to be master. Your soul is to serve you, not dictate you, not limit you, not boss you around. And your body is to be your slave, carrying out your commands. If you let your body be master, it will push you into the wrong flows of life. It will push you in the wrong direction. It will push you into addictions. Because your body and your spirit are on opposite teams. Your body is not in agreement with your spirit. Your body, the word says it's at enmity with God. What's that mean? Your body wants to do wrong. But your body doesn't have to do wrong when you turn it into your slave. Meaning I push my body around. I don't let my body push me around. I tell my body what it's going to do. And when you keep your spirit in dimension over your body, then your body's not running your life. You let your body run your life and it can ruin your life. It'll take you wrong places. It'll want to do wrong things. It'll develop habits and addictions that can undo our lives. But we're not letting our body push us around. Why we're not letting it be master. Our spirit's master. Now, when God. Like I said, when God is bringing us into more, he's going to deal with us through our spirit. The devil tries to deal with us through our mind. But we have to keep a tight rein on our mind, right? But you have to receive things first in your spirit. I said all that to say this. Revelation has to dawn on your spirit first. You can't receive revelation just through the mind or the soul of man. It has to dawn on your spirit. Now let me tell you why we want it to dawn on our spirit. Our spirit can believe things our mind cannot fathom, can't calculate, cannot grasp. Let me give you this example. There was a woman that was on her deathbed. She had pneumonia. This would have been, my goodness, probably in the 1930s, 1940s. The doctor was doing house visits back then. He came to her home. He told her husband, she won't live past midnight. She. The condition of her body is so far gone that she won't live past midnight. Well, the husband called for the prayer group there of their local church to come. They came around her bed. They read what God's word said on divine healing. And they began laying hold of it by faith. That. What's that mean? They said, this power is working in her. They started worshiping. They started praising. She agreed in. She agreed with that. See, when you're needing a miracle, you have to agree with the right flow. And she agreed with that. She started praising. And she came into such a place where her spirit started gaining ascendancy. What's that mean? Her spirit took the lead and she laid hold of with her hand of faith. Remember I said that your spirit, man has it has the senses just like your physical body has senses. So with the hand of faith, she laid hold of that. She agreed with that. She said, I got it. With her spirit, she laid hold of that revelation that healing was hers. And she said, I got it. I'm healed. I'm healed. And nothing of her body showed healing. In fact, the doctor came back the next day, said, no, nothing's changed in your body. The lungs are still the same. You still have that pneumonia. But in her spirit, she knew, no, I got it. I got it. It dawned on her spirit. That's what I want you to see. It dawned on her spirit. So for the next three days, she held fast. That's what the word means when it says, hold fast to that which thou hast. When it dawns on your spirit, hold fast to it. Because this realm won't immediately show what your spirit showed, what your spirit laid hold of. But if you'll lay hold and just not come off of what your spirit received, this realm will finally catch up and it will manifest what you laid hold of with your spirit. So for the next three days, she said, thank God, I got it. She knew in her spirit. See, she got it first in her spirit. You have to find out. And it has to dawn on your spirit who you are in Christ. She laid hold of that with her spirit first. And then she praised God based on what her spirit knew, not based on what her body showed. And so she said, thank God I have it. Praise God. Even though her body didn't show it, she just kept saying, thank God I have it. And at the end of three days, every bit of that left her body. Why? Because she received it first with her spirit in Christ. These revelations, receive them with your spirit, not try to run it through the mind and try to get the mind to calculate it, because your spirit can lay hold of who you are in Christ long before your mind does. But anyway, we know this, that in us is the greater One, and we agree with who's in us, not with what we can calculate, what we can reason, what we can figure out. Greater is he that's in us than he that's in the world. Amen. Well, you don't want to miss next time because we're going to keep going this direction. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

Episode 842 | In Christ I Can, Part 82
Date: September 23, 2025
In this episode, Nancy Dufresne continues her long-running series "In Christ I Can," emphasizing the unlimited riches and authority available to believers in Christ. The main focus is on understanding what is already available to Christians through their spiritual union with Christ, unlocking what lies "hidden" in Him, and learning to live by the Spirit rather than by the limitations of the mind or body. Nancy explores the difference between Old and New Covenant revelation, the importance of spiritual honor, the role of the Holy Spirit in understanding divine truths, and practical applications for faith, healing, and provision.
Nancy emphasizes the inexhaustibility of the "in Christ" topic (01:10).
The Christian life should be free from striving:
Nancy reads and elaborates on Colossians 2:3 (Amplified Classic):
These treasures are not hidden from us, but for us—requiring desire and honor to access.
Illustrative Analogy: The "pig and the pearls/newspaper/Bible" analogy underscores why God reserves deep things for those who honor His Word (09:30).
Only the part of God’s Word one honors works for them:
Honor is a “receiver.” To gain more from God, increase one's honor for the Word.
The Word must be processed spiritually, not just mentally.
Quoting Smith Wigglesworth:
The Bible is a spiritual book, so only the Holy Spirit can truly reveal its truths.
Believers are threefold—spirit, soul, and body—not part parts but each complete (22:10).
Spiritual Senses: The spirit has senses more accurate than the physical senses.
Example: Seeing oneself as healed in the spirit, not relying on physical evidence.
God works with us spirit-to-spirit; the mind is limited, but the born-again spirit is unlimited.
Letting the soul or body dominate leads to restriction or destructive habits; the spirit must be “master,” the soul “servant,” and the body “slave” (25:40).
Nancy recounts the testimony of a woman healed from pneumonia by laying hold of God’s promise in her spirit, even when her mind and body did not initially perceive it (26:10).
The point: Hold fast to what is known in the spirit until it manifests in the natural.
On Pauline Revelation:
"Paul wasn’t wrong and Jesus wasn’t wrong... Jesus said, 'There are things I have to say to you, but you’re not ready to hear.' What did he do? He said them through Paul." (04:00)
On Divine Treasures Being Hidden:
"He’s not keeping it from us, but he’s keeping it for us." (06:30)
On Receiving from God:
“Honor is a receiver. If we need to receive more, honor the Word more, dive into it, study it, make it yours. Treat the Word with honor, and the Word will treat you honorably.” (17:00)
Smith Wigglesworth Quote:
"Some like to read the Word ... in Hebrew ... Greek. He said, I like to read it in the Holy Ghost." (20:20)
Testimony of Healing:
"She said, I got it. I’m healed. And nothing of her body showed healing ... But in her spirit, she knew, no, I got it. It dawned on her spirit." (26:40)
