There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the healer. And don't you love the Word? I mean, it gives us the best life when. When we do it, it's not just the hearer that's blessed, but it's the doer. But how many of you know the doing begins with the hearing, that when we hear, we better know how to do something? You know, I so appreciate Paul's response on the road to Damascus. Remember what he was doing. He was on his way to go persecute Christians, to throw them in prison. But Jesus Christ interrupted his plan. And Jesus spoke to him and said, paul or Saul? Then before his name was changed to Paul, he said, saul, why persecutest thou me? And notice the next statement that Paul made. He said, what would you have me do? Now look at that. Paul had a mindset of being a doer, and so he knew that he had been arrested divinely by heaven to do something. I want you to know the Word comes in your life to turn us into doers, not just hearers, but to produce fruit. And how many of you know that's how we glorify God, is we produce much fruit, produce fruit in our prayer life, produce fruit in our faith life. How about this? Produce fruit in our serving in the body of Christ. But we're to produce fruit in every single arena of life. And I would say this. Pay attention to what your life is producing, because everyone is producing something good or bad, and we need to take inventory of what we're producing, and not only what we're producing, but the measure of what we're producing. You know, my dad was a cotton and wheat farmer in Oklahoma. And you could go out with my dad, ride in his pickup to go check on his farms, and he would look out that cotton field and he could tell you how many bales of cotton were in that field before it was even harvested. He could take you to his wheat and he could tell you how many bushels of wheat were in that field. He was so skilled at measuring his fruit. And I would tell you this, every single day he went and checked on the measure of his fruit. He didn't go for a week at a time and not go check on it every single day. And many times more than once. And his farms were not all together. He had several farms scattered throughout the county because as farmland would come available, he would buy it. It wasn't always connected to his current property. And so he would drive all over the county for one reason, to check his fruit. And he was what, protecting his fruit too many times. If we're not careful, we're living mindless about are we producing? Are we bearing fruit for the kingdom? We can look and say, what was my income last year compared to this year? It's not so much about money, but are we showing evidence of increase? Are we showing evidence of progression, of receiving more because we're becoming more skillful in our faith? You know, somebody can say, well, I made more money this year. But you know, sometimes people make more money just because of something they did in their own ability to cause it. I want to bear fruit with my faith, not just with some human ability. I want my faith growing, I want my faith increasing. I want my faith to lay hold of more than it lay hold of last year. And sometimes when we look at the financial arena, it's easier to measure that. But what about this? What's your marriage look like? Is it better? What about your home? Is it, Is it more peaceful? Is it more in line with what God has for you to enjoy? Listen, what does God have us have for us to enjoy the good life? And if we're not living the good life, we're living less than what God has for us. Do you know God never authored a troubled life for us? He never authored a harassed life or a tragedy filled life or a drama filled life. He only authored the good life. And so in that we have to take an account and say, am I living the kind of life he authored for me? Can I tell you where that life is? It's in Christ. That in Christ holds every good thing that God intended for you to have and partake of. We have on our website, I want to get it out from all this, these notes that I have here. But we have on our website something that we want to get into your hands for free. We have compiled a small booklet with In Him Scriptures. Then we've also compiled one that's a complete list listing of all the in him scriptures in the New Testament. What does that mean? Well, in him means verses that say in Christ, in Him, through whom? And these are verses that tell us who he is in us and who we are in him, what he will do through us, what he can do through us, what we can do because we're in Him. All these verses that reveal him in us and us in him, we have to study it. You can download those for free. Go to our website@jesusthehealer.org and you can get those downloads feed on them. Why? Because we need to pay attention. Is our life reflecting that? Are we bearing fruit in line with who we are in him, or are we just bearing fruit? That looks like every previous season, every. Every further season should bear further fruit. It should bear further evidence that we're growing in the knowledge of who we are in Christ. Because Christ is the treasury where the wisdom of God lives. Christ is the treasury where everything that belongs, that God has for us, it belongs to us because we're in Christ. I want to read to you Colossians, chapter 2, verse 9. This is the living Bible translation. It says this. For in Christ there is all of God in a human body. So you have everything when you have Christ. And you are filled with God through your union with Christ. Now this is what we need to be talking about. This is what we need to be meditating on. This is what we need to be drawing out of. We need to go to who I am in our thought life, who I am in Christ, instead of what I can do apart from him or what he's wanting me to do, and I've got to get it done. No, He. He gives us something to do, but he expects us to draw on him to enable us to do it. He gives us Himself to fulfill what he has assigned to our lives. So we have to remember this. In Christ I have everything I need to fulfill the plan of God. And I want my life to depict the fruit that I am drawing on, who he is in me and who I am in Him. Now, we were talking about several things in the previous episode, but before we go, because I want to pick up there where I left off. But I want to remind us of something. I want to read a few scriptures to you. Acts, chapter 17, verse 28. We know this. For in him we live and move and have our being. Notice. God did not leave Himself out Of any of that. He included himself on the way we live, the way we move, and everything that we draw on for our own being. He is our source in Christ. Then in First Corinthians 3. 9, the amplified classic says this. For we are God's fellow workmen, joint promoters. Listen to this. Labors together with and for God. Look at this word. Together we are filled with God. God is on the inside of us. Why so we're not doing anything apart from Him. Everything is to be together with Him. Can I tell you this? When you're faced with opposition, decide to face it together with him. Don't leave him out and think, I've got to get past this. No, you don't. You just move together with him. And how he leads you, he will. He'll lead you pass that test. And not just coping with it, he'll lead you out of it. And know this, you won't be crawling your way out of it. You'll be stepping high out of that test and pass that test that tries to hinder you. Don't try to live this life apart from him. He filled you with himself so he could do everything together with you. Draw on him not just for the things God authored, but for opposition that comes against you. Draw on him for it. He's in you to be together with you no matter what you face. You know because you're in Christ doesn't mean you're dismissed from opposition. Opposition is going to come. But know this, you have the divine Godhead on the inside of you to face that opposition with. Not just face it, but to enjoy your life and overcome with mastery and with skill. And can I say this? Don't settle for relief when God offers you victory. Too many times people are just okay with the devil backing off. I'm not just trying to get him to back off. I'm going to have victory over every situation. I'm not looking for relief. I'm not going to settle for relief when God offers me victory. Amen. And too many times the devil will get people to stop short of victory by them accepting relief. Meaning this. They'll back up from things that God's leading them into just to get a bit of relief from the opposition. Don't back up off of anything God has told you to do for relief. Go all the way and get victory. Relief is short lived, but victory is eternal. So you stay in the flow of victory by drawing on who you are in Christ. Now I want to read to you 2 Corinthians, chapter 6 in verse 1, the Amplified classic translation says this. Laboring together as God's fellow workers with him. And we beg of you not to receive the grace of God in vain. That merciful kindness by which God exerts His holy influence on souls and turns them to Christ, keeping and strengthening them. Do not receive it to no purpose. I want you to know that the grace of God belongs to you. Draw on it. Don't leave the grace of God unaccessed. Listen. Grace is God's ability, and grace must meet our faith. Grace is God's part and faith is our part. And when faith meets grace, we draw on God's ability. That's what's in Christ for us. God's ability flowing through us. And it's faith that allows his grace and ability to flow. Then I want us to read Ephesians, chapter 2 and verse 6. It says this. And God has raised us up together with Christ and made us sit down together, giving us joint seating with him in the heavenly sphere by our. By the virtue of our being in Christ Jesus. Now look at that. All this is about together. He raised us up together, seated us together, that we're one with Him. What's this mean? Don't live this life apart from him when God intended every day be lived together with him. That you employ everything he is, that you put him to work for you. And like I said, it's not just employing him in the things that God has authored, but employ him when opposition shows up and tries to take your life. Of course, employ him in those moments. I remember something God said to me several years ago. There was a particular test that would show up a threat, if I could say it, from the enemy. You know, everything that comes to your mind did not come from your mind. You have to know that the devil will suggest thoughts against the mind. He's trying to insert wrong thinking. Why is that? Because the devil want. The devil can only work through wrong thinking. So he's got to get us thinking wrong to have an open door into our lives. But God only works through right thinking. So we have to pay attention. Is that thought right in line with the Word, or is it in opposition to the Word? And so the devil was making this, bringing this thought to me that I recognized it was against the Word. I recognized that the devil was the source. And I said to God, I mean, I said to that opposition, I said to the devil, when he'd suggest that I'd say, that's not my thought, I resist that thought. I'm not going to take that thought and he would stand off. But I recognize this. It's like he wouldn't leave the room. He would just stand back. And every few weeks, that thought would come back. And it kept recurring every few weeks. But I would go automatically into resisting mode, which is right. I mean, the Bible says, resist the devil and he will flee. But before it says, resist the devil, it says, submit to God. Submit yourself, therefore, to God. So I was resisting the devil, but I was bypassing submitting myself to God. You say, well, Pastor Nancy, what does it look like to submit yourself to God before you resist the devil? What do you mean by that? Well, let me tell you the rest of the story. I. Every time that devil would threaten me with something, and I recognized that same threat would come every few weeks, and I would resist it and it would stand back. But it seemed as though it didn't ever leave. It was just looking for another time to come back. About the fifth time that this happened, I was in a hotel room. I was traveling, preaching on the road, and I was in the hotel room. And that thought came again. And before I had the opportunity to even speak to it and resist it, God said to me, ask me about that opposition. Now see, that's one thing I had left out. What's that verse say, submit yourselves to God, resist the devil and he will flee. To submit yourself to God means ask him about what, how to deal with that. Ask him what he knows about that situation. So because the devil was making a threat in a certain direction, I would just resist it. And I wouldn't touch that arena in my thought life. Because if I touched it, it seemed like it opened the door on that threat that the enemy was suggesting to me. So I'd make sure that I didn't touch it in my thought life. And God said to me, ask me about that opposition. That's what I had left out, why he wants me to face that opposition together with him. I was trying to face the opposition without drawing on him first. I would just go straight to resisting mode. But I didn't draw on God's knowledge, God's wisdom first. So I said, God, what about that opposition? And he said, that opposition has come to rob you of releasing your faith for the harvest. And so when he told me why it came, I go, oh, I got it now. So now when I resisted, that thing left and didn't come back. Why? Because now I knew what God knew about that situation. What's that mean? I was resisting together with God, together with his wisdom, together with what he knew about the strategy of that opposition. So what am I saying to you? Don't just go into auto mode and start resisting. First employ him. He is. He raised you together with Him. He's filled you. He's in you. Why? Because he doesn't want you to do anything apart from Him. Now notice what the Word tells us. In the book of Psalm, it says this. Acknowledge him in all your ways and he will direct your path. Do you know he will direct your path of going further into the will of God and the plan of God. But do you know he will also direct your path on the exit road out of a test? If you will acknowledge him, acknowledge the greater ones in me. I'm submitting to him. I'm drawing on what Christ in me knows about this situation. And when I draw on him, he will let me know what strategy or what test or what approach to take to get out of that test. He will direct me out of a test, not just into victory, but out of the wrong thing. So you may say, Pastor Nancy, you know I've been struggling with physical things. Do you know that the Holy Ghost will lead you into divine health? Did you know that he will lead you? He's in there to lead you. You say, pastor Nancy, I've had ongoing financial struggles for years. Do you know that God will lead you out of that place of difficulty if you'll acknowledge him and let him direct you? Why? Because as we've been reading, these verses are all about together doing these things together with him, facing the plan of God together, but also facing opposition together with Him. Because the devil's not all knowing, but God is. And he knows exactly what to do to get you on the other side of everything that tries to oppose you. So just know this. The genius is on the inside of you. Don't not consult with him. Draw on what he knows. Don't just go into auto mode and say that I'm just going to keep resisting, resisting and resisting. If you realize it's not arriving you at the victory that you know is yours and go back to him and say, what do you know that I'm overlooking? I draw on your ability. I draw on who I am in Christ. When I go to answer this opposition, when I go to exit this test or get on the other side of it, I'm going to draw on what you know. And when you do, you don't do these, if I could say this, these meaningless efforts that don't arrive you at where you want to be and where you know God has provided for you to be. What's this mean? Live life together in Him. We live and move and have our being a living every day together with him, bringing him into every facet of what you encounter every day. Yes, the good things bring him in on it, but also the opposition bring him in on it because he never intended for you to face it alone. That's why he filled you with himself. And when you are in Christ, you have everything you need. Don't leave everything unemployed by not acknowledging that he's in you and trying to do something apart from him, leaving him out of your victory. Include him in on that because that's the only way to partake of your victory the way he has provided your victory. Now God will use different things to train you on on drawing on in Him. Let me give you this example. When my husband went home to be with the Lord the next year, which was 2014, God gave me an instruction. He said, I want you to travel to all those churches that are associated with your husband's ministry and you minister in their churches to let them know that nothing of the plan of God has been lost. Nothing of the anointing upon this ministry has been compromised, that you're moving ahead in the plan of God and we're all continuing to move together. So that year, 2014 was the first year after my husband died and I traveled extensively that year. The very next year, 2015, God gave me a different direction. And what he said, he said, I don't want you traveling very much this year because I want to demonstrate to you that it's not your traveling schedule that provides for you your provider. So what did he do? He removed the traveling. He removed the traveling aspect from our traveling ministry because he wanted me to see it's not your meetings that meet your needs. It's your provider that meets your needs. Do you know it took more faith for me that year not to book a meeting than to book a meeting. Why? Because I am going to. He was wanting me to become skillful with drawing on who I was in Christ instead of who I was as a traveling minister. I'm in Christ first, and that funds everything as I obey Him. And so God allowed me to have that experience of seeing him work for me. I've learned this. I don't book any meetings because I have bills to pay. I have made a covenant with God. I will book a meeting for one reason and that's to be a blessing to the people I minister to and to obey the plan of God. I don't book meetings. That way, if I'm. And this does happen when I go and preach for ministers, how many times God has said, give that offering back to the church, to the to or to the minister that hosted me? Why? When my motive is to be there to be a blessing, I don't sweat it when God says, give the offering back. Why? Because I'm up there for the offering. I'm there to obey God and to be a blessing. So it doesn't. I don't struggle at parting with my seed. I don't struggle at giving back the offering because I'm not looking to the offering to provide my needs. My provider is him, and I put my faith on him and not on the avenue of my preaching. I don't join my faith to any avenue. He is my provider. I've written, I don't know, maybe 23, 24, 25 books. I don't know how many I've written. But I will never write a book thinking I can get money on this. That does not ever cross my mind because I so honor the revelation that God has given me. And that's why I put these revelations in book form, to get them to the people. Because I want you to know if you're going to draw on who you are in Christ as your provider, you have to watch your motive with money. You have to decide. I'm not doing anything with a motive that's less than honorable. Because God's my provider. And if I develop a wrong motive, I think that that avenue is my provider. No book is my provider. No preaching engagement, no calendar is my provider. And I say this to traveling ministers, that if you'll take your travel calendar out of your hands and put it in his hand, he will take. For he will take care of you beautifully. And too many times I've seen that some ministers, they wear themselves out because they think they had to provide for their ministry. I don't do that. God does not. He is not a hard taskmaster. Amen. I am just following his lead because he's my provider. Why is that? Because in Christ is everything I need. And because I'm in Christ, I can freely fill my calendar as he directs me. And I don't fill my calendar as bills and expenses direct me. I'm not led by price. I'm not led by bills. I'm led by the spirit of God. He's my provider. He's the one I'm leaning on. He's the one I'm resting on. And I want you to know that's the best kind of life, when you learn to draw on who I am in Christ funds me. Who I am in Christ is all the provision I ever need. Because when I have Christ, I have everything I need. That's what the Word says. So we have to examine what are we leaning on? What are we trusting in? And when you trust that he's your provider, you quit putting pressure on people. You quit putting pressure on employers to do something more for you. Now, listen, I'm not saying that God may tell you to go talk to your employer about a pay raise. I'm not saying you shouldn't do that. But I am saying this. Never put pressure on people. Because if you do, don't put pressure on relatives. Don't put pressure on mom and Daddy to take care of you. Because every time you put your expectation on people, you just took your expectation off of God. And we need to be more skillful at leaning on God rather than leaning on people. And if you'll learn to lean on God and let him take care of you and realize that he has made you rich in Christ, he will give you the best life, better than you could ever experience, taking care of yourself, carrying things in your own hands. Amen. Together with him, you're fulfilling the plan of God. Together with him, you're obeying everything he's put in your heart. But I guarantee you this, nothing else that you could ever lean on can substitute for Him. He is your greatest advocate and he's your greatest help in this life. Amen. Well, we're able to come to you for one reason on this broadcast. And that's because of the generosity of Kenneth Copeland and Gloria Copeland that have said that no programmer on the Victory Channel will pay for their airtime. They, Brother Copeland and Sister Copeland sow into every viewer in this that is watching this network because they've sown this seed to us. And so if this. If this broadcast is a blessing to you and the other programmers on this channel are a blessing to you, we should be a part of funding that. It's appropriate that what feeds us we should fund. And so when we're fed through by the Word through these different ministries, it's appropriate for us to fund that. So if you're not already a partner with Kenneth Copeland Ministries, I ask you to go to kcm.org and sign up to become a partner there. Because we want to keep funding what feeds us. Amen. And so remember this, until next time, Jesus is the healer. God bless you.
