There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now. I receive it right now. From the top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the Healer. And we are continuing in the series we've been on for a while. It's called In Christ. I can and just know this. We're so grateful that we are in Christ because we look so much better in him than outside of Him. And so we are just discovering, teaching, finding out all the things that belong to us because we belong to Him. And I just want to read. Let me just read a few verses just before we get started today in the teaching, before we dive in a little further, I want you to turn with me in your Bibles. Go to Ephesians, Ephesians chapter one and verse three. I'm going to read out of the King James translation, but we invite you also get something to take notes on. Because we're believing God for Him to speak to you and for you to hear answers for your life. How many of you know the word is the answer book? And so let's look at Ephesians 1:3. It reads, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Look at this. Why are we blessing Him? Because he hath blessed us. What's that mean already? He has already blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. Look at this. We're not trying to get the blessing. We're already blessed. Well, what are we blessed with? I like what one translation says. My favorite translation of this verse says, blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with everything that heaven itself enjoys. What's that mean? That none of what heaven is enjoying right now has been withheld from us. But where is that treasury box? Where is it stored up? It's in Christ. That in Christ all belongs to us. I want us to also read Philemon. And there's only One chapter in Philemon. But let's go to verse six, because since everything belongs to us, how do we become partakers of it? Well, Philemon in verse six records that it says this, that the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you, in Christ Jesus. Well what basically does that mean? It's saying that everything that belongs to you because you belong to Christ is activated when you acknowledge it. So you have to speak words of faith because how many of you know the power of God meets faith? And so when we acknowledge all that is ours in Christ, then that which is ours is activated and we become partakers of it. It goes into effect. Well, what does that look like? It is appropriate for us to say in Christ, I'm already whole, I have wholeness. That means because I'm whole, there, there's no pain, there's no sickness, there's no disease. And you say, well Pastor Nancy, I'm feeling pain in my body. The doctors have said I have a certain sickness or disease. Yes, but that's outside of Christ, that's not in Christ. So we're authorized to talk about what's ours because we're in him. And faith is always talking about what we have in Christ, not what tries to come against us outside of Christ. So here Philemon says that with our faith we acknowledge what is already in us. Every good thing that has been made ours. And when we acknowledge the good things that have been made ours in Christ, that's when they go into effect for us. So if we acknowledge sickness, that's what goes into effect. If we acknowledge lack of, that's what goes into effect. But if we'll acknowledge every good thing is mine, healing is mine. Being a pain free body is mine, provision is mine to have it to go into effect, to not just become possessors, but partakers of what we possess, we have to acknowledge it. How do we acknowledge it? With words of faith? We have to say something. Now know this, we, we don't experience what belongs to us in Christ simply because we believe it, we have to say it. Jesus said he shall have whatsoever he saith. He didn't just say he'll have whatsoever he believes. Our believing is to lead us to our saying. And this is what's recorded in Philemon verse 6. That that which is ours in Christ, it goes into effect when we acknowledge it. So if we ignore it, it won't go into effect. If we neglect it, it won't go into effect. If we're mindless about it and never even thinking of it, it won't go into effect. What activates it? Words of faith. We're acknowledging this is mine in Christ. Let's not acknowledge what the devil is trying to do against us outside of Christ. We refuse to go back to the old man that has been crucified with Christ. Now we're living as new creatures in Christ and new creatures in Christ. We have a new flow available to us. What flow is that? It's in Christ. Everything that has been made ours in Christ. That's what we acknowledge. That's what we talk about. And when we acknowledge what has been made ours in Christ, it. If I could say this, it overrides what the devil tries to do against us. Talking about that we are the healed, it will run out sickness and disease. We don't try to get rid of sickness and disease. We acknowledge we are the healed. And when we acknowledge that healing flows, health flows, and that health pushes out that which is not of health. So what does that mean? We are authorized to be occupied with what's ours in Christ and ignore what. What belonged to the old man, what belongs to someone outside of Christ? Because that doesn't describe us anymore. We're not outside of Christ. We're in Christ. So let's fill our mouth, let's fill our thoughts, let's fill our faith with acknowledging what belongs to us because we belong to Christ. I also want to read. Look at two Peter chapter one. Two Peter chapter one and verse three. And I'm going to read out of the Amplified Classic translation, because I'm showing us what belongs to us so that we can acknowledge it. It's not enough to possess it. We have to acknowledge it to become partakers of it. Now think of it in these terms. Your kitchen can be full with all kinds of food stored up. Your refrigerator can be full of all kind of food. You possess it, but you're not partaking of it until you put a demand on it. Well, even so, all that belongs to us in Christ we presently possess. But we don't want to just possess it, we want to partake of it. And so we're learning how to. Not only learning what is ours in Christ, but how to partake of what's ours in Christ. In 2 Peter 1:3, the amplified classic again tells us something. It says, for his divine power has bestowed upon us all things. Look at that. By his power he bestowed upon us all things that are suited to life and godliness. So know this. It's already been bestowed. It's not about trying to get God to give us something. It's already been assigned and given to us because we're in Christ. Now, we've said this in previous episodes and it's so important that people understand this. Under the old Covenant, people were praying to God, trying to get him to do something for them, asking him to do something for them. It's not wrong to ask. But under the old Covenant, that was the emphasis. They're endeavoring to get God to move on their behalf. But under the new Covenant, it's already been done. Christ already paid the price. He defeated the enemy and He. He took everything that was in his inheritance. And he made us co. We're co heirs with Him. Everything that belongs to him belongs to us. So the emphasis of the new covenant is not trying to get God to do something for us. The emphasis of the new covenant is knowing what's ours already in Christ and becoming skillful and at partaking of it. We are not trying to coerce God into moving. He moved for us by putting us in Christ. Now, that's key for us to understand. If people are thinking of themselves outside of Christ, then they're trying to get God to do something. But when you know you're in Christ and in Christ is everything you need, then it's not about getting God to do something. It's about us releasing our faith in what he has already already done and made ours. So this is what Peter is letting us know in this passage, so notice this phrase. He said, his divine power has bestowed upon us all things that are suited to life and godliness. So he's not just talking about spiritual things. He's talking about every single arena of life. Spiritually, mentally, physically, materially. Everything you're going to need has already been provided and it is stored up in Christ. And we are one with Him. And so we acknowledge that everything that belongs to Christ belongs to us right now. We don't have to wait to heaven before we go there to partake of these things. We are to live as rich as Heaven already made us on this earth. And so here again it says it's already bestowed upon us. We need to acknowledge that. And if I could say this, we need to be specific in what we're acknowledging. Let's not be general, because many times if we're too general, it's because we're not believing specifically enough. We don't want to just speak generally because we want specific manifestations. For example, when God created everything he did not on day one of creation. Step out and say everything. Be. He was very specific. He spoke light first, then he spoke the different things that each day contained in creation. He did not just give one general instruction. He was specific. That's what faith is. When you have faith in God, you know specifically what belongs to you. And the more specific you are, the more targeted you can be with your faith. The more specific we are. It shows our skill and it shows our understanding of what Christ has made ours. So here it says that he has bestowed upon us all things that pertain to life and godliness. Any aspect of your life. God's already bestowed all the help, all the supply, all the provision that you need for every aspect in every arena of life. Look at this. And godliness so that you can live in a way that God can be demonstrated in your life. So again it says, his divine power has bestowed upon us all things that are suited to life and godliness. Now the next phrase says this through the full personal knowledge of Him. What's that mean? Although everything belongs to us, if we don't know what have knowledge of what belongs to us, we will leave what belongs to us unaccessed. This is why it is such a joy for us to be able to teach in these episodes about what belongs to us in Christ. Because through that knowledge, we activate it. If we don't have knowledge that something belongs to us, we neglect it. We overlook it. We don't even know it's available to us. So we are running out ignorance. We're running out lack of knowledge. We're finding out what the Word says is ours. So it says that we partake of what's ours in Christ through the full personal knowledge of Him. Now look at this word. When it says personal knowledge, it's not enough that your pastor knows it. It's not enough that preachers know it. You are to personally know for yourself what belongs to you because you belong to Christ and what he has made yours. And it goes on and says this through the full personal knowledge of him who called us by and to his own glory and excellence, virtue. So know this. Whenever we become skillful at partaking of what he's provided for us, we are partaking of the flow of glory. Amen. Now look at verse four. It says, by means of these, he has bestowed on us his precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you may escape by flight from the moral decay, rottenness and corruption that is in the world because of covetousness, lust, and greed, and become sharers. Look at this partakers of the divine nature. What's that mean? That it's manifesting in our life. And so he says in verse four, again, by means of these he has bestowed on us his precious. Look at these words, exceedingly great promises. Look at this adjective heaped upon adjective to describe what belongs to us in Christ. These exceedingly great promises. What? When you talk about something that's exceeding, that means it surpasses something. What are his promises? Surpassing opposition tests our enemies. The promises that are ours in Christ are more than loaded with victory to get us past every opposition, every strategy of the enemy, because his promises exceed anything that the enemy would try to work against us. Amen. So anytime I make confessions of faith, I started with this. In Christ I have. In Christ I have healing. In Christ I have provision. In Christ I have peace. In Christ I have victory. In Christ I have wisdom. Look at this. In Christ I have the leading of the Spirit. I know exactly what to do. Do you know that really? I don't have to spend a long time trying to hear something from God. Why? Because his leading belongs to me. The Word says in Romans, chapter eight, it talks about this, that the sons of God are led by the Spirit of God. The leading of God belongs to me. Remember what Jesus said. He said, my sheep know my voice. I don't have to labor to to hear. I can just turn toward him and hear. What's that mean? I can acknowledge. I just turn toward my spirit and I turn away from that mental arena. Why? Because God's not speaking to me through the mental arena. He's speaking to me through my spirit. If I will turn, quiet the mind and turn toward my Spirit, I can know in a moment exactly what I'm to do. When I'm faced with a decision I need to make, it doesn't take long hours of praying, long hours of fasting, long hours of afflicting yourself to try to get God to talk. We don't take action to try to get God to talk. Jesus said, my sheep know my voice. In other words, we don't have to coerce something out of God to hear what he has to say to us. All we have to do is turn our attention. Remember what we read in Philemon. Acknowledge. If we'll acknowledge the leading of the Spirit belongs to us in Christ. We don't have to labor to coerce God into saying something to us. It's about us recognizing how he's leading us. Now, how is he leading us? Because can I tell you this in Christ, the leading of the Spirit belongs to you. That's part of one of the benefits that belongs to us in Christ. Do you know Christ as Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father, he always hears what the Father says. He always sees what the Father is doing just because of his position. Seated at the right hand of the Father, he observes everything God is. God is moving on. He observes every movement of God because he's in that position. Well, the good news is Ephesians 2 tells us we've been raised and seated with Christ. We share that same seat of fellowship. It's our seat of authority, but it's also a seat of fellowship that we can know exactly how God's moving in our life, exactly how he's directing in our life. We don't have to talk God into trying to clue us in. He seated us in his presence. We belong in the presence of God. We belong in a place of hearing from God. And we don't have to labor to hear to try to earn a place of hearing God. Listen, God filled us with the Holy Ghost. Why? Because the Holy Ghost knows the mind of God. He knows the wisdom of God, and he will impart that wisdom to us. And that's not a labor to try to get him to do that. That's why he's in us. I don't ask the Holy Spirit, would you lead me? That's implying he's not leading me. I always say, holy Spirit, you're leading me. And because you are leading me, I know what to do. But when you start saying things that are against the Word and say, I don't know what to do in this situation, and you're not becoming a partaker of what's already been made yours, you have to acknowledge that he is speaking to you. Instead of saying, I don't know what to do, I always say this, he's in me, so I will know what to do. And because he's in me, he's leading me. And I always know what to do. Now, there was a time, years ago, God spoke to me about a certain business transaction to take. And at first I was unsure of why God would direct me that way. So I doubted. I mean, I questioned, am I hearing right? Because it didn't make sense to me mentally of how God was leading me. And when I had this certain leading from God come into my spirit, I had peace about doing it. But, man, my head was. You ever been there? Your head's spinning, your head in turmoil, trying to, if I could say this, reconcile what you sense in Your spirit, but what you. What's coming against the mind? And so I said to God, I said, God, I have peace in my spirit about taking this particular step, but my head's given me fits. And I said to him, I said, I tell you what I'm going to do. I'm going to take time to pray in the spirit, to speak in other tongues, until I gain clarity of how you're leading me. Well, it sounds good, doesn't it? It sounds spiritual, but it's wrong wording. Can I tell you why it's wrong? I had a leading. I was really asking God for an additional leading. And we're not promised an additional leading. Other than how the Spirit of God is bearing witness with our spirit, what was I wanting? I was wanting something more spectacular. I was wanting something more obvious. Now, about two weeks later, I was sitting down in a certain location. I remember where I was, and I said, God, I'm going to just take some time and pray in the spirit until I get clarity about this business decision that's in front of me. And so I was just for maybe five minutes or so, praying in the Spirit. And God spoke to me. And he said, several weeks ago, you said to me that you had peace in your spirit about that certain business move. I said, yes. He said, but you also told me that you were in turmoil in your mind about it, that your mind was unsettled. I said, yes. And then he said, you said you were going to pray in the spirit until you gained clarity. I said, yes, that's what I said. He said, the peace in your spirit is the clarity. Now, see, I was wanting my mind to be at peace, just like my spirit was at peace, because I was wanting my mind to agree with that leading. But we're not led by our minds. We're led by our spirit. So can I tell you this? If you have peace about doing something, do you know that that's the leading of the Spirit? That God is leading you to do something if you have peace in your spirit about it? So God was letting me know that day, if you have peace in your spirit about it, do it. Ignore the turmoil in your head. Because God's not leading by our head. He's leading by our spirit. And that peace is a safe guide that we can follow, because that's what Isaiah says. They shall go out with joy and. And be led forth with peace. How many of you know that when you have peace in your spirit about going a certain direction, there will also come a joy at moving with that why? Because when you're peaceful, my goodness, that's a joyful place to be in. When there's no peace, that's a difficulty for us. So I've learned this, and you need to learn this, because I don't care if you just got saved today, you can know the lead. How God's leading you today. How do you know if God's leading you to do something? Do you have peace in your spirit about it? And I want you to know. Someone who's just saved today can identify if they've got peace in their spirit. You don't have to be. You don't have to know 50 scriptures. You don't have to be saved for 10 years before you can know whether or not you have peace in your spirit. You know whether or not you've got peace. Now, be sincere about what you're acknowledging. Do you have peace about it? Yes. Then if you have peace about it, do it. You are safe in following peace now, because peace is one way the Spirit leads us is by following peace. Another thing to recognize is this. If you don't have peace in your spirit, don't force it. Don't go a direction you don't have peace about. Even if your mind tells you that's a good deal. Even if your mind says you should do that, even though it might make sense to the mind, if you don't have peace in your spirit, no matter how much it makes sense, don't you do it because the lack of peace is the spirit of God directing you not to go that way? In a moment you should be able to tell, no matter what shows up. Do I have peace about this, yes or no? If I have peace, I'm doing it. If I don't have peace, I'm not doing it. It's that simple. To follow the leading of the Spirit. And do you know this in Christ that the guide of peace belongs to you? That you don't ever say, I don't know what to do. Yes, you do. Your Spirit knows. Now, what your spirit knows needs to float up and enlighten your mind. Take time to. If I could say this, speak in other tongues. Because what happens when you need further details? Your spirit has those details. Why? Because the Holy Spirit's in you and he's leading you. All we need to do is take time to let what our Spirit knows enlighten our minds. Now, like I said, if you have peace about doing something, just go ahead and move that direction. You're safe in following that peace. But sometimes we need details of how to walk out that direction. And if you'll take time to pray in the Spirit, the details will come clear to you. Why? Because Jesus said, my sheep know my voice. So don't speak against his voice. Speak in agreement with his voice. I know his leading God. God leads me. Now, listen, this is where many people miss it. They think God only leads through something spectacular. Through something out here in the natural realm, through something that is obvious. But I want you to know the safest way God could ever lead you is by the peace within. Because the devil can replicate spectacular things out here, but he can never replicate the inward peace. He can never talk you out. If I could say this, he can't ever sabotage you by what's going on in your spirit. Because he's not in your spirit. The Holy Ghost is in your spirit. So if you have peace about doing something, do it. If you don't have peace about it, don't do it. Because the leading of the Spirit belongs to you in Christ. And when you follow the Holy Spirit and you develop and acknowledge that, you become a partaker of all that God has blessed you with, including knowing his mind for you, including knowing what direction to take. Because God did not sentence us to live by trial and error, we are to live by knowing how he's leading us. And we are following accurately what the Spirit of God is directing us in. And that's in you. Because in Christ, the leading of the Spirit belongs to you. Amen. I don't know about you, but that's good news. I don't have to live my life bumping my head into walls. In this life, we can live accurately. And can I tell you this, it's possible to never miss it again if we'll learn to follow the one who's on the inside of us leading us. Amen. Well, you don't want to miss next time. And until next time, remember this. Jesus is the healer. God bless you.
