There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today. For Jesus the healer, we invite you get your bible and get something to take notes on because we're expecting that God is going to give you answers and clarity. And can I say this? Learn to write down when God speaks something to you, because when he says it to you, we think, my goodness, I won't forget that. And then next week we go, what was that that God said to me? We don't want to lose what God is, what he's maybe emphasizing for us in our life. And so we're believing that he's going to give us answers that are going to help us be ready for no matter what comes. The shelves of our Spirit stopped with his divine help and word. Amen. And so we've been teaching in this series on in Christ I can. And we are just. It's such a loaded topic because really it's one of the emphasis of the New Testament is that we are new creatures in Christ and we are co heirs with Jesus. Everything that belongs to him belongs to us. Think of that. Everything that is his has been made ours and it's not ours for the earning he gifted us with it. Amen. And God put us in Christ because He put also in Christ everything He wanted us to have. So when we think as one in Christ, when we speak as one in Christ, believe as one in Christ and respond as one in Christ, we become a partaker of everything that belongs to us because we belong to Him. And can I tell you this, we, we don't have to talk God into blessing us, providing for us, giving us anything that he's already put in Christ, because it's all been made ours. Amen. And we were reading in a previous episode out of Ephesians 1:3, it reads, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Look at this. Who has blessed us. And we could even accurately say this, who has already blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places. Look at this. In Christ, because we're in Christ, we part. We are to partake of everything that's in him. If I could say it this way, he's the treasure box. Everything that God wanted for us, he deposited in Christ. And he says, now Christ is in you, you're in him. So that means everything is at your access. Why is it then, if everything belongs to us? Our lives don't always look like that. It's because we have to partake of what has been made ours. Well, how do we partake of what's been made ours? Well, we were looking also in a previous episode at philemon. There's only one chapter in Philemon, but in verse 6 it says this, that the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you, in Christ. Notice this, because you're in Christ, it's only good that's on the inside of you. It's only good things that are in Christ. Anything that has ever happened that's bad in our life was apart from Christ. He had no part in that. There's only every good thing in him. So we have to know this. Don't accuse God of bad things that happen, because in Christ is only good things. And if it didn't bless your life, if it's not joyful, if it's not peaceful, God had no part of it. So we can easily know that the author, the devil, was authoring anything that isn't good, but everything that is good, it belongs to us in Christ. Well, since it all belongs to us, how do we become partakers of it? Well, this verse in Philemon 1, verse 6 tells us that we are to acknowledge every good thing. Look at this. It's not automatic, it's to be acknowledged. Many times people think, well, if God wants me to have it, he'll give it. Well, he did give it to you in Christ. But to activate it, you have to acknowledge what he made yours. Well, what does that mean? We have to know something. We have to gain knowledge of what is ours in Christ so that we can acknowledge it, so that we can activate it. How do we activate it? With words of faith? Because our faith goes into effect when we acknowledge what's ours in Christ. And we lay hold by faith of everything that is ours in Christ. So what does this mean? We cannot sit back inactive and hoping that all the good things that God has for us will just show up. God will not leave us out. He involves us in being receivers of what he made ours in Christ. So if we could say it this way, the more we acknowledge it, the more we partake. The less we acknowledge it, the less we partake of what's ours in Christ. So know this, it's not up to God. It's up to us. God already showed his will for us by filling us with Christ, filling every good thing in Christ, and then filling us with Christ. So everything in him belongs to us. So God did do his part. Now his part has to meet our part. And our part is the easy part. Just acknowledge that it's yours. Acknowledge that he provided it for you. But know this, that God will not leave us out of this flow of receiving what's ours in Christ. He involves us and we have to acknowledge. You say, well, Pastor Nancy, why did God make it in His Word, showing us that we have to acknowledge it before it will go into effect? Because although he wants it for us, we have to want it for ourselves. And so he will not force anything upon us. And he is so honorable that even though it's good, he won't force it on you. So we have to acknowledge what he has, what he has made ours, so that he can manifest that good thing he has for us because he will not violate our will. We, when we acknowledge what he has made ours in Christ, then we are giving him permission to manifest it. And how many of you know we will? We can measure into our life more good things or less good things. What I want to encourage people in is get past the wrong thinking of, well, I shouldn't have something that nice or I shouldn't have that much, well, why shouldn't you? I mean, if all the blessing of God, all spiritual blessings are ours, everything that heaven itself is enjoying, God is a God of more than enough, is what the Word says. And Jesus made this statement in John chapter 1010. He said, the thief cometh not, but for to steal, kill and destroy. But I have come that you might have life. Look at this and have it more abundantly. Not just barely enough, but an abundant flow of the life of God, an abundant flow of the good things of what life has provided for us. So what does God have in mind for you? Abundance. Abundance. More than enough. Why? Because when there's an abundance, there's enough for you and for someone else. If you only have enough for you, what kind of blessing can we be? We're limited in what kind of blessing we can be when we just have enough to make ends meet. That's why God wants you flowing, receiving abundance and flowing in abundance. Because then it not only blesses your life, but it blesses other people's lives that you come in contact with. Can I say this? When God spoke to Abram before, his name was Abraham, he said this. He said, I have blessed you. Look at this. And he said, and I blessed you to be a blessing. Notice this. God was not just blessing him apart from being a blessing. He joined those two together. I bless you. Why? So you can be a blessing? Too many times we have lived with the mindset of previous seasons of struggle that we're just trying to get enough to make our ends meet. We've got to shift and say, I have more than enough. Not just so I can have my bills paid, but so I can be a blessing. When you're more mindful of being a blessing, now you have the mindset of abundance. Now you have a mindset that will receive of abundance. Because you know that everything that comes to you is not just for you. God wants you to have more than enough, but he wants you to have such a flow of abundance that you are being a blessing. With that abundance. It means you're looking for the opportunity to be a blessing. We know this. Jesus said, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. Now notice this. We have authority to stop the devil from working against our life, from bringing injury to our life. We have authority over our life. But you know what? We don't have authority over other people. Now, if you're a parent, if you're an employer, and there are things that are under your domain, you have authority over that which is within your scope of responsibility. But can I tell you this? You don't have authority over your neighbor. You don't have authority over the people in the sewer. You don't have authority on the people on the highway next to you. You don't have authority over every person. You only have authority over that which is in your realm. Now, you do have authority for one thing, over everybody. You know what that is? To be a blessing. God has authorized you to be a blessing everywhere you go, no matter who you come in contact with, you are authorized to bless every person everywhere you go, every situation. Can I tell you this? When we show up, the blessing of God on us should flow at such a degree that setting gets better. Because we showed up, because we arrived, we brought peace. To that situation, we brought stability to that situation, we brought soundness to that situation. We don't bring crisis everywhere we go. We don't bring division, we don't bring offense, we don't bring fear. We don't bring undo drama to a situation. Right. Everything should get better because we showed up. What's this mean? Every place we're at should bloom because we're there. And I would say this, that's called having a mindful, a mindfulness of being a blessing. If the way we're communicating to someone isn't blessing that situation, we have no business doing it because we're not authorized to tear up a place. Jesus said, we're authorized to bless a place. Amen. God said that to Abram. He said, I have blessed you so that you can be a blessing. Now as I said, people tear up homes, they tear up businesses, they tear up the place they work because they want something their way. When we are thinking in line with God the way, what we want is to be what God assigned to us. And that's being a blessing. I'm here to be a blessing. I'm not here to get my way. I'm here to bless this home. I'm not here to get everything the way I want it. Because I'm authorized to be a blessing everywhere I go. I'm not authorized to go, get my way and demand my way everywhere I go. Amen. So why is it so important that we partake of an abundant flow so we can be a greater blessing everywhere we go? I love something that one pastor's wife, her husband had said something to her. He's the pastor and he said, you know, I would be perfectly content just living in a little one room cabin just by the stream, eating turnips out of the field, you know. And what he was saying was, I like a simple life, but I love what how his wife answered. She said, well now, isn't that selfish? She said, if you just lived like that with barely having enough and you just lived off by yourself, what kind of blessing could you be to people you come in contact with if you only got enough turnips to feed your life? Well, I loved that she called him out. In other words, it's not just about so I can live the way I want to live. We are to live the way God wants us to live. And what is that being a blessing. So to be a blessing everywhere we go calls for abundance. We must have a flow of abundance or we cannot be a blessing everywhere we go. You know, Paul in his Epistles, one of the things he said, he said, we have enough to give to every good work. Look at this. Every good work. So when I go to church and I hear a guest minister speak, or a pastor that speaks and they receive tithes and offerings, or they receive an offering for the guest minister, I don't have to pick and choose which offering I'm going to participate in. I participate in all of them. Why? Because I am blessed enough to give to every good work. I'm not trying to dismiss myself from certain offerings because I'm trying to withhold something. I'm there and I want to represent that I'm blessed enough for every good work. I agree with the Word. I don't say, well, I have enough to give in one offering, and I don't have enough to give in another offering. Nope, I say, I have enough to give to every good work. Too many times people have a mentality of, I'm trying to keep something for myself. If you will have a mindset of being a blessing everywhere you go, you'll have enough for you and for everybody else you come in contact with. But if we only had the mindset about me, I want enough just for me, then you're not going to have enough to be a blessing everywhere you go. That's why Jesus made this statement. He said, the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. But I have come that you might have life. Look at this and have it more. Look at this word abundantly. That God has abundance in mind. Abundance of life, abundance of every good thing, not just barely enough. So we have to disarm the way of thinking if we recognize that I think I struggle with having nice things or I struggle with having thinking I should have more than one of something. I shouldn't have that much. Why shouldn't you? Because in abundance is more than enough for you and for those you come in contact with. So we want to get rid of this limited mentality because if we limit what we'll receive, we're also limiting how much of a blessing we can be to others. And so I would say this even if you say, you know, Pastor Nancy, my joy is full with the home. I have the business. Maybe I have the job, I have the vehicle I have. That's great. Acknowledge. Recognize where is your joy full. But don't let your faith stop laying hold of things just because your joy is full. Lay hold of more just so you can funnel it to other people who have need. Amen. Let's not just think of us because In Christ is not just enough for you. In Christ is enough for every place God wants you to be a blessing at. Now I say this. Always be led by the Spirit. Don't just mindlessly give at certain locations and give to certain people. Be led. Because if you are sowing in places God's not directing you to, then you won't have enough to give whenever you arrive at the place he wanted you to sow in. And I don't mindlessly give. I'm led in my giving. But I am generous in my thought life toward giving. Now make a note of that. You had to be generous in your thought life toward being a blessing and then be led on where you're to give. You know, if I can say this, the Word talks about being a blessing to the poor, but I want you to know the primary way that we're a blessing to the poor. You know what Jesus said in Luke chapter 4? And he started saying in verse 18. He started talking about that the anointing was on him. And there was a job description of the anointing upon him. And he made this statement in Luke 4:18. He said, the Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he's anointed me. Look at this. To preach the gospel to the poor. He's talking about finances there. He said that their anointing was on him. The first thing was to preach the gospel to the poor. Notice what? The poor need the gospel. They need the good news to know that Jesus bore lack so that they could have abundance. Now what does that mean? Don't just hand people that are in financial need money. Also hand them the gospel. Because if you just hand them money, tomorrow they're going to need more money. But if you hand them the gospel, you're giving them answers for the rest of their life of what God has for them. So we want to be generous in what we give to people, but we also want to be generous in giving them that which is going to have a lasting effect. And that is teach them. Tell them that God wants more for them. You know it's right and it's good to be generous to the poor. We should give to the poor. You know, you might see somebody on the road. I've had it at times where I saw someone in need and I was prompted by the Spirit to go do something for them. But can I tell you where my doing first shows up is? In my local church. I give my finances. I give my tithes and offerings at my local church because I'm not going to Give what belongs to my storehouse away to something that's not my storehouse. Does that make sense to you? Be led, is what I'm saying, and do good, but also be led where you're sowing. Because we know this, that the Word tells us in Malachi that we are to bring all the tithe into the storehouse. Where's the storehouse? It's the place your life is fed. Where's that primarily? And first going to be your local church. We are to fund our local church. So what do we want to do? Be mindful to be a blessing to my local church. That's where it begins. Be a blessing at the storehouse. I love something that Brother Copeland, he makes his statement and he said, of course, God has commanded the tithe is his. What is the tithe? It means tenth. So the first tenth of all of your increase belongs to God. And people will say, well, I don't have enough to give the tithe. You have enough to give if you will do what God says. The tithe is the first tenth, not the last tenth. After you've paid all your bills, your tithe is the first tenth. And if you will tithe first, you'll always have enough to tithe. If you're going to pay bills and do all this other stuff, go on vacation, buy the latest, you know, device, buy the latest technology. Nothing wrong with that. But it's not right. If you haven't given God his first yet, why does God say give his first? Because that funds the rest of our life and it makes the rest of what we possess work right now, Brother Copeland makes his statement because God says the tithe is the Lord. You don't have to pray about that. You don't have to pray. Should I tithe? No. The Word's already told us the tithe is the Lord's. But then I love that Brother Copeland makes his statement. When you tithe to your local church, which is your storehouse, he said, bring all the tithe into the storehouse. The place where your life is fed spiritually, where your family is looked after. Why? Because a pastor has oversight of our soul. That's where we want to fund that place. Because we need that pastoral anointing, having oversight of our soul. But Brother Copeland makes this really so wise statement. He said, when God tells us to bring the tithe to our storehouse and we give to our local church, he said, what happens with the tithe? They turn around and spend it on the sheep. They spend it on us. God tells us to Bring a tithe. Then he spends the tithe on us to have a place to hear the Word taught where our families can sit under the teaching of the Word. So basically our tithe is boomeranging back into our life and it's providing a place for us to continue to grow in God. And so we want to first be a blessing to the place that feeds our life. So there are divine connections in your life. Who are those divine connections? Well, number one, your local church. That's your first other there. Paul talked about that. We don't have many spiritual fathers. He said there's many teachers. And I know that this God has brought teachers into my life. They teach me about my call, they teach me about the word of God. They teach me how to walk with God. But I know this. There are those who are divine connections, that they are that father's voice to my life. And you know, can I say this? I don't care if you are a pastor. You need somebody who knows God better than you to speak into your life. Being a pastor does not dismiss us from the need of needle, of needing a pastor. Because a pastor is someone who has oversight of us and not to control us, not to direct our lives, but to speak into our lives. And someone who knows God better. And I know this. God will lead us to those who will lead us to Him. And everybody needs somebody to lead us further with him. Now you start getting up into, if I could say this, the ranking and the voice in the body of Christ. As someone who's a general, they might not apparently have somebody over them, but I want you to know even a general is very teachable. They're listening to the word being taught. But every single one of us need to find who does God speak to my life through. I want to fund that voice because I need their voice in my life. So I'm generous. I don't just put my giving mindlessly anywhere. I first want to fund divine connections in my life of my local church. I want to bless my pastor. I want to bless those ministers or different ones that God has put in my life because I need what God has for me through them. And so if we are really receiving of the abundance that belongs to us in Christ, we can be an abundant blessing to everyone. God puts in our life as divine influences, divine teachers, divine guides. Amen. So if I could say this, let's take the limits off of our thinking about how much we should have. Because if we think about, wait a minute. I want to be a blessing to my pastor. I want to be a blessing to the vision that God has given my pastor for our local church. I want to be a blessing to those that God uses to speak into my life. That means I'm going to have to think beyond my own needs. I'm going to have to think about being a blessing. Well, in Christ you don't only have your needs met. In Christ you can be a blessing. And so we need to be looking for the opportunity to be a blessing. Well, what's that mean? Sometimes we're going to have to adjust this. We're going to have to adjust the way we think. Because many times people will say, I don't have a problem giving to others, but I have a problem being generous to myself. Can I tell you something? That's still poverty mentality. Even though you can be generous with everybody around you, if you're not generous toward you. And I'm not talking about wasteful, I'm not talking about running up credit card bills because you want something and you have uncontrolled and unrestrained desires. I'm talking about you are valued by God. God does not want you robbing from you because God can fund someone else through you. And you, how many of you know God can't? God's not limited to just fund one thing at a time. He can fund many different things at one time. So don't hold back from receiving the abundance that God has for you thinking that it's going to rob from someone else. No, God can fund it all. And so know this, that there is abundance for you and there's abundance for you to be a blessing. So believe for all of it in Christ. The Word tells us that Jesus was made poor, that we might be made rich. That's how we honor Him. Jesus did without. I mean, he bore the price of poverty and lack on the cross. He didn't do without in his earthly ministry. But on the cross he took the penalty of poverty, which came from sin. Sin brought not only sickness into the world, but it brought lack into the world. Jesus bore that price and paid it so that you could never do without again. He wants you always having more than enough. And I want you to know in Christ is more than enough for you and for you to be a blessing. Amen. Well, you don't want to miss next time. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the heaven healer. God bless you.

Episode 852 | In Christ I Can, Part 92 | October 7, 2025
Host: Nancy Dufresne, Dufresne Ministries
This episode of "Jesus the Healer" with Nancy Dufresne continues the series "In Christ I Can," focusing on the abundance believers have in Christ—not only for themselves, but to be a blessing to others. Nancy teaches on the importance of recognizing and activating all that belongs to us in Christ, renewing our thinking from limitation and lack to abundance, and the biblical principles of giving and generosity, especially within the context of local church and divine connections.
Nancy Dufresne’s teaching in this episode centers around the scriptural truth that God has made every spiritual (and material) blessing ours "in Christ." She urges listeners to actively acknowledge, claim, and operate in this abundance—not only for personal needs but to become a continual blessing to others, especially through the local church and to those God divinely connects to us. Nancy dismantles mindsets of scarcity, encourages radical generosity led by the Spirit, and grounds all teaching in the work of Christ, who has provided more than enough for every believer.
