There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the healer. And we appreciate you taking the time to spend around the teaching of the Word. And know this, that anytime you give the Word, we'll pay rich dividends when we become doers of that Word that we're receiving of. And how many of you know? It's a privilege to hear it, but it's blessed to do it. And so we thank you for taking the time. We are in the middle of a series and we are loving the way that the Spirit of God has led us. We're teaching on in Christ. I can. And so, my goodness, we are on episode 99 in this series and I had no idea that we would end up staying with so many episodes in this series. But my goodness, I'm so glad because the Holy Ghost is just giving us utterance and we're trusting that you're hearing answers for your life and to be in Christ. That's our wealth. And so we are so grateful that we're discovering and exploring together and we're gaining revelation together. And we've been reading in past episodes, we were talking about that because we're in Christ, everything belongs to us that God put in Christ, everything He intended for you to have in your life. And so Christ is the treasure box. And so all that we need to live the life that God authored for us is contained in Christ. And Christ is in us. We're in Him. And because of that, we can be one and are made one with the Father. And really that's the greatest that Jesus did for us in offering himself is he made us one with the Father. On the previous episode, we were talking about, it's such a blessing to know all the things that God's made ours, to know that healing is ours and provision and joy and Peace and all the things that God has provided for us, that he's already given it to us. We're not trying to coerce it out of his hands, but it's already made ours in Christ. And so when we draw on who we are in Christ, rather than drawing on the flesh, drawing on simply the mental arena, but we're drawing on I'm in Him and he's in Me. And I'm going to allow myself to be the channel that he manifests through. Because that's exactly what Jesus did. He said, my Father in Me, he does the works. So Jesus just allowed Himself to be the vessel that God could manifest through to bless humanity. Well, that's simply what why we're filled with Christ. Because God gave us Himself to fulfill the plan of God for us through us. God authored a plan, and he never intended that we fulfill his plan for our life apart from Him. He intended that we only ever allow him to flow and manifest through us because he can fulfill it as he authored it. But he blesses us by allowing us to become the channel that he does not work in our lives apart from us, but he involves us. Remember what it says in Acts, chapter 17, verse 28. For in him we live, in him we move. Look at this. And in him we have our being. Notice this. Every arena of our life, every aspect of our being, is to draw its ability through Him. And so he's going to manifest through us. And it all comes from Him. He is our strength. He doesn't just give strength. He is our strength. He is our life. He doesn't just give life. He is our life. And so we are not just trying to operate off of human ability that he has enhanced. He has given us his own. We're not just living off an enhancement. We are living off divine flows. How many of you know the faith that he's put in your heart? It's his faith. The love that he has already shed abroad in your heart, it's his love. So he gives us Himself to spend. When we walk in love, we're spending Him. When we utilize our faith, we're spending him because it's his faith. Everything. Look at this. In Galatians, chapter 5, it talks about the nine fruits of the Spirit. Do you know that that's the very character of God Himself. These aren't just fruits in the sense of something pleasing. Of course they are pleasing, but they're forces. They will prod something in our life that is unbeatable. And the devil cannot overcome these forces of the fruits of the Spirit that are in us because they are characteristics of God Himself. When we walk in love, joy, peace, meekness, temperance, all of these fruits that are already in us, we are walking in Him. We are drawing on the nature of God, the life of God in us. Now, before we were born again, all we had to draw on was our flesh. All we had to draw on was our own mental capabilities. How unfair of a life that gives us. Because then you can only have what your education gives you, or you can only have what your social standing in this world could give you, or you could only have what your body could accomplish. But in Christ, we. We all have the same thing, God Himself. Now it's up to us to become skillful at letting him flow and manifest through us. How do we allow him to flow through us? We obey His Word. We're doers of the Word. That's why Jesus said, it's not just the hearer that's blessed, it's the doer. Because in doing the Word, then we are giving God movement that he will fill with Himself and He will manifest Himself through our obedience. So we. We don't just want to appreciate the Word, we're doers of the Word. And the Word is not just a Sunday situation. It's not just when we go to church that we have a regard for the Word, but it's how we live every day. It's how we function in our home. It's how we function on the job is based on what the Word directs. Because when we are moving based in line with the Word, then what happens when God can manifest Himself through us? We were talking about on the previous episode that of all the things that God has given us in Christ, the greatest thing he gave us is Himself, Himself for our fellowship. And I was making these statements in the previous episode that if someone is struggling in their prayer life, their devotional life, their life of feeding on the Word, or, you know, meditating on the Word, everything is a difficulty outside of him, even a prayer life. So if we're struggling in our prayer life, we're leaving him out. If we're not careful, all we're doing is walking out rules, performing rules, performing a guideline. But it's him that is the absolute, very life of everything we do. And know this. Our fellowship with God is what waters is every single arena of life. You know, we can know what the Word says and we can make confessions of the Word, but don't leave out fellowshipping with Him. You say, well, how do we live in fellowship With God, we acknowledge him. We turn our attention toward Him. When we wake up in the morning, let's turn our attention toward him. Let's turn our attention toward he's in me. Let's turn our attention toward the Word. What has he said? When you draw on what he has said to you, when you put your attention that he's in you and he's working in you, and you just talk to him as sincerely and as simply as you would talk to a loved one in the room. That's the way he wants to be included in our everyday life. And so if prayer, the prayer life is a struggle, it's because we've left him out. We have to. If I could say this, get our tongues connected to our hearts, get our tongue connected to our spirit, and not just. Not just check it off our to do list. Well, I read a certain amount of chapters in the Bible today. I love something that George Mueller, he made this statement. He was a man who. His ministry in the 1800s, he housed over 2,000 orphans that he took care of just by his life of faith. And he made this statement. He said, I don't read through the Bible. I meditate my way through the Bible. What's he mean? He lets it become part of him. He doesn't just let it go in his eyes and then move on to the next passage. I remember something God said to me years ago. He said, talk to me about my Word. So that means that when we feed on the Word, it becomes a divine conversation. You talk to him, father, I see this in your word. I understand it to mean this, but can you tell me, show me by your spirit. What am I leaving out about it? What would the Spirit show me about this? And expect his Word to talk back to you because this is such a personal thing. You know, when you. If you're married and you married, you married your spouse. You didn't marry them so you could be apart from them. You married them because you wanted the opportunity to be with them more and more and more. And even in more intimate ways. You didn't just want to have a public relationship. You wanted to have an intimate, private fellowship with Him. It's the same thing with God. He doesn't just want us to treat him as some kind of a social experience when we're at church. He is our life. And so of all of the things he's made ours in Christ, he is our greatest thing. He's given us. He is the great gift. Amen. And I would say this to you, receiving Healing is no difficulty when you're in fellowship with the healer. Receiving provision is no hardship whenever you're in fellowship with a provider. Don't cheat your life by putting the fellowship of people above the fellowship with your father. Because God is a father who wants a family and he wants fellowship with his children, and that's you. And you can say, well, I've missed it so much. I made so many mistakes. I want you to know he delights in being everything to you that you need him to be. And one of the greatest things is his place of fellowship in his heart and him in your heart. Now, God said something to me years ago. He said, if you were to look at a Christian that had succumbed to some kind of sin that they became entrenched in and it took their life off course. He said, the average person would look at that person and say, well, sin took them off. Sin carried them away. And God said, no sin ever, ever defeated my people. He said, their defeat and their difficulty, the place they missed it was they did not start their day with me. Because he said, if they would have turned toward me, I would have fortified them enough that they would been able to resist the temptation to sin. He said, sin shall not have dominion over you. Sin can never take you out. But failure to draw on me is what can rob you of the victory that's yours. So what's this mean? It's not about trying to live better, trying to do better, trying to behave better. Just turn your attention toward the One who fortifies, the One who is your strength, the One who is your grace for living every day. And you will have such a. An empowering from his ability flowing within that that which you struggled with will become a thing of the past. Because his fellowship and the strength that flows from him through you will put to naught anything that opposes you. Because I want you to know, greater is he that's in you than he that's in the world. So be in fellowship with that which is greater, because in fellowship with the greater, one overcomes all the opposition that comes against you. I remember a day that my husband and I had gone to the doctor. He had been just going for a physical exam, and we went in in separate cars. That day we drove to the doctor's office. And we were in that doctor's office, and he turned to my husband and he said, you've got cancer. And we had no idea, you know, about that diagnosis was coming. But the doctor said, you have about two years. And we left that doctor's office. My Husband got in his vehicle to drive back to the house. I got in mine. But before I ever turned the car, before I ever started the car, I turned toward my help. And I was only in my mid to late 30s at the time. And I said, father, my mind could go a lot of different directions right now. The devil would like to feed my mind a lot of different directions. And my own understanding could grab a lot of different directions right now. But I said, I need to draw out of the place that's going to be the answer place. So I said, I'm just going to take time to get in your presence. Why? Psalm 91, what's it say? Talks about that he is our secret place, walking in the Spirit. And it puts us above every other thing that tries to oppose us. I said, I'm just going to occupy the place of your presence. Because in your presence, nothing that opposes me can reach me there. And I had to get it straight that in my thought life I could not allow my mind to go to the wrong direction. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high, look at this. Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, he is my refuge, he is my fortress. In him will I trust. I first got in that car and just turned my attention toward Him. That's the first thing I did. I acknowledged him. Because what I acknowledge is the flow I get in. What you're acknowledging is the flow you're getting in. What you put your attention on, that's what's going to carry you throughout the day, good or bad. If you turn your attention toward a need, that need is the flow that day. But if you turn your attention towards your help, your help is the flow that day. And I want you to know he is your help for every opposition. So I sat there for about 10 minutes before I even turned on the car. What am I doing? I'm establishing myself in his presence. Know this. He never leaves us nor forsakes us. But we can ignore his presence. We can not acknowledge Him. So it is so important that we partake of his presence just by one thing. Acknowledging him, turning our attention toward him. Can I tell you this? Your faith is as simple as where your attention is. What's your attention on? That's where your faith is going to go. If you put your attention on the opposition, if you put your attention on what's trying to trouble you. If you put your attention on a troubling flow, that's what's going to move and manifest in your life. But it is so easy for us to turn our attention to something greater, someone greater and a flow that we want. Because the moment you turn your attention toward him, you can sense Him. Why? Because he will never have you turn toward him and him be absent. He is in you. So to enjoy a place of fellowship that was purchased for us by the blood of Jesus is the highest kind of life. And if we will take our place in his presence, because, listen, he's always present, he never leaves us, he never forsakes us. But so much of the time we can conduct this life totally oblivious that he's in us and wanting to manifest and work for us and through us. So really to have a faith that's flourishing, it's so easy when you're thinking of him instead of opposition. So turn your attention toward Him. Acknowledge Him. And that's what I did that day. I decided, I'm not turning this car on and I'm not driving this car anywhere until I get my attention set. Because all this that I heard in that doctor's office wants my attention. What my mind can imagine wants my attention. But this is what 2 Corinthians, chapter 10, verse 5 says, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. God bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. What am I going to do? I'm going to establish the flow of my thought life by taking myself into an awareness of him, of who's in me. This is the difficulty with so many Christians, is they hold their awareness on what's against them instead of who's for them and who's in them. And I love something Paul said. He said, I know in whom I have believed. Listen. He didn't say, I know what I believe. He said, I know in whom I believe. We believe Him. Amen. And that's what I did that day. I thought, I'm going to turn my attention and get it completely absorbed with him who's in me. Because all of this opposition wants my attention and I can't go there. And so I just took time to get in the presence of God. I didn't talk to God about healing for my husband. I didn't start making confessions. And it's right to make confessions about healing. But that's not the first thing I did. I took time to acknowledge him and get in his presence because I'm not going to make confessions from any other place than the awareness of Him. This is where many people in the faith life miss. It is they make right confessions, but they're doing it from a place of the mental arena. They're doing it with their total awareness on opposition. We have to put our awareness, put our attention, put our acknowledgement on him. And when we do that, and then we say, my God meets all my needs, it comes from a place here rather than just a place of trying to get past this opposition. When you're attached, you've attached your attention and your focus to him. You're past it. You are past opposition. I want you to know we are not on the struggle side, trying to get on the victory side. Anytime opposition shows up, I already have victory over that. Now it's my job to keep my thought in that flow, to keep my attention in the flow. Why? Because God is never on the backside of any opposition. And when I'm in fellowship with Him, I come up to the. To the flow of his presence. I love something that Psalm chapter 9 in verse 1. If I could ask the control room, put that up. It's going to be Psalm chapter 9, verses 1 through 3. Psalm 9, verse 1 says this. I will praise Thee, O Lord. Look at this. I will. What is this? Praise has to be an action of your will. Not just I feel, but I will. Because sometimes, I guarantee you, when I got in the car that day, it's not like I felt spiritual. I felt opposition. But I can lay, I can attach my will at that point. And this is what Psalm 99, verse 1 tells us. I will praise the O Lord, look at this with my whole heart. What's this mean? We can't leave our spirit out of this because you can praise God with your words and your heart's not in it. You can praise God with Scriptures, but your heart's not in it. I will praise the O Lord with my whole heart. Because it's not really praise until our heart is in it. Now, if our heart isn't in our praise, why would his be in it? Now notice that if our heart isn't in it, why would his be affected by it? It's not. It's when it comes from our heart. It's a sincere flow. It's a genuine flow. It's not a calculated, practiced lingo that we're to have. Let me go ahead and read this. And I want to talk about a passage where Jesus ministered to a woman. But let me finish this before I go there. I will praise Thee, O Lord, with my whole heart. And then it says, I will show forth all thy marvelous works. What's that mean? When I'm faced with a need, when I need a miracle in my life, first of all, I'm going to get my heart turned toward him and I'm going to praise Him. Second of all, it says, I will show forth his marvelous works. What's that mean? I'm going to rehearse when he showed up for me in the past. I'm going to go back to the testimony in my life, and I'm going to remind myself what God has done for me in the past. He will do it again. Because what we rehearse, God repeats. And don't you forget that. Whenever David went to face Goliath, what did he talk about? He said, I killed a bear, I killed a lion. What did he start doing? He started testifying of the time that God worked in his behalf to take out a giant. And when this giant was no different. So when you're going to worship and praise God, you get your heart connected to what? The words you're saying, that they're not just an autopilot, practiced words. Your heart is engaged. And then you call up, father, you did this for me. You did that for me. And you start rehearsing what he's done in the past. Now go to verse two, if you would. And it says this. I will be glad and rejoice in Thee. Why? Because opposition tries to take the joy out of you. So by a choice of your own will, you take, choose to be glad and you choose to rejoice. Why? Because no matter that the opposition is there, I know the outcome. Because I know who's in me and I know who I'm praising. Now, it says in verse two. I will be glad and rejoice in Thee. I will sing praise to Thy name, O Thou Most High. Now look at verse three. He says this. When my enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at Thy presence. What's this mean? Verse 1. I got in the presence of God by praising from a place in my heart. It took me into his presence. And with. When the enemies come to find me, they bump right into his presence. And at his presence, my enemies fall. What's this mean? Our safe place is his presence. That's what I did that day in the car. I got in his presence. How did I do that? Now, see, I know this. We're always in his presence, but we're not always mindful of his presence. And that's what we mean when we say, get in the presence of God. Legally, you're always in the presence of God. But in experience, you have to make yourself mindful of his presence. That's what I did. Why? Because when I was worshiping and praising God in that car, I was getting connected to my heart instead to my mind. While I sat there. While I sat there, tangibly, I felt like a blanket of peace dropped over my body. It rested on my shoulders. I could feel it tangibly. And I went through that entire experience of my husband's situation. And that never left me. Why? Because his peace, Philippians tells us, will mount guard over our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. But see, I had to cast my care on Him. How did I do that? I got in his presence instead of getting in the care. If whatever you're going to get in is what's going to sit on you. If you're going to get in the care, that's what will sit on you. But if you'll get in his presence, that's what will rest on you. So I went home. I drove up to the house. I walked in the house, and my husband had arrived about 10 minutes earlier. Because, remember, I had taken time in my car before that car ever moved to get in the presence of God. And I walked in the house, and my husband said this. He said, I've already got the answer. I said, you got the answer to what? He said, when I walked in the house, he said, God, you don't miss it? I've missed it somewhere. Where did I miss it? And God said two things. He said, number one, you haven't rested your body. My husband was a type. He never went. He never rested. He just went, went, went and went. And God had been dealing with him for years about that. And God said to him, he said, you would do better for a season, but then you would fall back into your old habits. And he said, your body is worn out. It's not even able to resist of its own. Because there. There is built into the human body that it will resist viruses. It'll resist things that come against us. But when it was too tired, it couldn't. And he said, number one, you've not rested your body. Number two, you have not obeyed me in the ministry I've called you to. And Ed said, you're right. And he said, I repent for both. And God said, okay, in 30 days, it'll all be gone. He went back on day 28 to the doctor, and the doctor said, someone up there sure likes you. There's no cancer in your body. What was this? We found our answer in the presence of God. Our answer was not in struggle. If you start getting into the mental arena, you just enter the arena of struggle. But if you'll get in his presence and stay there, you will hear what you need to hear from God. I got in God's presence in that car. When my husband came home, he got in God's presence and he heard answers. The key is live in the presence of God because now you're in the place where answers are heard. Amen. Well, you don't want to miss next time. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

Podcast: Jesus the Healer w/ Nancy Dufresne Audio Podcast
Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
Episode: 859 | In Christ I Can, Part 99
Date: October 16, 2025
Theme: Living Out What Is Ours in Christ: Fellowship, Power, and God’s Presence
Nancy Dufresne continues her foundational teaching on what it means to live “in Christ,” focusing on the reality that everything God has provided—healing, provision, joy, peace, and above all, Himself—belongs to believers now. The episode centers on the role of daily fellowship with God, not just knowing promises, but experiencing the presence and power of Christ in practical, life-transforming ways.
All that we need is found “in Christ”; being in Christ provides believers access to the fullness of God’s provision and makes them one with the Father.
Walking out God’s plan depends not on self-effort or disconnected striving, but on allowing God to work through us.
The fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5)—love, joy, peace, etc.—are the characteristics of God Himself, not just abstract ideals.
Christians are not limited to their backgrounds, intellect, or natural ability; all have the same access to God Himself because of Christ.
Fellowship with God is the essence and strength of the Christian life; it waters every other area, from prayer to victory over sin.
A struggling devotional or prayer life means “we’ve left Him out,” turning spirituality into just a checklist.
George Mueller’s example: “I don’t read through the Bible. I meditate my way through the Bible.”
Begin your day by acknowledging God; your attention determines your flow for the day.
Nancy recounts the story of her husband’s cancer diagnosis and how she maintained spiritual composure by deliberately turning her attention to God—refusing to move forward physically or mentally until settled in His presence.
The importance of deliberately getting mindful of God’s presence, not just making confessions from a place of anxiety or mental striving.
The tangible experience of God’s peace after choosing to praise and worship from the heart, not just mentally or by rote.
Her husband also received clear direction from God once home, resulting in practical steps (rest and obedience) and, ultimately, a healed body.
Receiving God’s Power
“I receive that power right now from the top of my head to the soles of my feet.” (00:41–00:45)
On Christ as Treasure Box
“Christ is the treasure box... and Christ is in us. We’re in him. And because of that we can be one and are made one with the Father. That’s the greatest that Jesus did for us.” (02:05–02:35)
The Greatest Gift: Fellowship with God
“Of all the things God has given us in Christ, the greatest thing He gave us is Himself, Himself for our fellowship.” (11:37)
Turning Attention to God
“Your faith is as simple as where your attention is. What’s your attention on? That’s where your faith is going to go.” (23:35)
On Facing Crisis
“I’m just going to occupy the place of Your presence, because in Your presence, nothing that opposes me can reach me there.” (21:29)
Praise from the Heart
“I will praise Thee, O Lord, with my whole heart... It’s not really praise until our heart is in it. Now, if our heart isn’t in our praise, why would His be in it?” (24:50)
God's Presence Brings Victory
“When my enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at Thy presence... Our safe place is His presence.” (25:35)
On Making Confessions
“Many people in the faith life miss it; they make right confessions, but they’re doing it from a place of the mental arena... We have to put our awareness, our attention, our acknowledgement on Him.” (21:55)
Nancy concludes that living “in Christ” means not only knowing what belongs to you but also remembering that fellowship with God is the highest gift. He is not just the solution to your needs—He is Himself the ultimate provision. The answer to every challenge is not more striving, but simple, heartfelt acknowledgment and engagement with God’s presence.
“Live in the presence of God because now you’re in the place where answers are heard. Amen.” (27:18)

Main takeaway: God’s presence is available and powerful—answers, peace, and provision come as you actively engage in fellowship with Him, not from striving or mental effort.
