There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the Healer. And we are continuing on our series we've been teaching on in Christ. I can and and I believe this is the 101st episode of this. And I will say this. I don't even know when we're coming off of it. My guess is we could be on this at least even for a year. Because there really, this is the foundation of a foundational truth that every believer needs to be skillful with. And because everything that God intended for his children to have, he put in Christ. And it is our privilege to discover everything that is in Christ. And then how to allow the Greater One that's on the inside of us, the Godhead that's on the inside of us. How. How to yield to the Christ in us. How to yield to the Holy Ghost in us. And when we learn to yield to him, what we're doing is we're employing Him. We're speaking. And God never intended that we live this life drawing on our humanity. God intended that we live this life drawing on the Greater One who's in us. That's why he filled us with Himself, so that he would be the One that would accomplish through us the greatness, the greatness of his plan. And know this. God has a great plan for the life of every person. And don't ever diminish or belittle the plan that God has for you, because I guarantee you this, it is a great plan because it came out of a great God. And nothing but greatness can be authored by Him. So never let the devil talk you into believing that what God has for you is less than what he has for someone else. Everything God planned for your life requires his ability to. To fulfill it, his faith to fulfill it, his attributes to fulfill it. That's why he filled us with Himself so that we would learn to let him do it through us. And the wonderful genius of God. And I would say this, the great kindness of God is He fills us with Himself. And then he says, I will do the work through you. And then he turns around and rewards us for. For letting us be the channel that he can manifest through. So I tell you what, it's a great deal. And so we are discovering what it means to have Christ in us and really what it means to allow him to flow through us, how to draw on him, because every single one of us could draw either out of our spirit, draw out of our soul, which is the mind, the will, the emotions, or just draw out of our flesh. But God has given us the Holy Ghost dwells in our spirit. And so because of that, we don't want to draw out of just the soul of man or draw out of our flesh, letting that lead us, letting that guide us, when we have a spirit that is indwelt by the Spirit of God. And so when we say that Christ is in us, that's his abiding place is our spirit man. So we are to become skillful as one in Christ at drawing on what's in our spirit, who's in our spirit, the ability of God that's in our spirit. And so these are some of the things that we're ministering on and talking about. And I would say this. To come into the highest order of faith, we have to know who we are in Christ, who He is in us, and what he wants to do for us and, and through us. And so we won't have faith problems when we realize, wait, my true identity is in him, who I am in Him. Now you think about it, I mean, when I was just in, when I was born into my family, I became the daughter, I became a wife, I became a mother. But along the way, I became a child of God. And so my true identity is who I am in Christ because of all of those other features of my life. Being in Christ is the eternal one. Being in Christ is the unchangeable one. You know, my parents have both moved to heaven now. And so although I was their daughter, they're not here to be my parent anymore. So that changed in my life. Then my husband and he went to heaven in 2013. So the role of wife was changed there. Although now the Word tells us to the widow, that God is the husband to the widow. But the role of me being a wife to my previous husband, that has changed. I'm still a mother. I have two sons and I have, you know, a daughter in law and grandchildren now. But the one role that is unchangeable in every realm is in Christ. And so this is where our true identity is to be drawn from and lived out of. Because all these other identities can fluctuate and change. You know, some people see themselves as their profession. And if someone's an attorney, if they're a doctor, if they're, you know, if they're a carpenter, if something of that profession changes, something within that profession changes for them. Many people flounder because they go, I don't know where I belong anymore. Well, see, in Christ we'll never flounder again because we belong to him. And for the rest of not just our time on earth, but throughout eternity, we are one with Him. So I would say this. Explore, discover, find out what that means to be in him and build that in you. Because although all the different channels and avenues and the different components of this earthly life can change, sometimes on a day, daily basis, then what anchors us? Who we are in Him? I love what I heard one minister say. He said, I'm at home anywhere I go, because I'm in Christ. Everywhere I go. I love that because especially for someone who travels, I travel and we go to other countries. I refuse to feel out of place when I'm where God told me to be. I refuse to feel like I don't belong if God's plan is for me to be there. It's the same thing with you. If God gives you a certain job, God gives you a certain profession. Don't you ever feel like anything that God authored for your life, you don't belong in? Because even though situations may change, you're still in Christ no matter where you are. And so, because that is, if I could say this, our anchor, it anchors us in this life to know that we are in him, he is in us. And that is unchangeable in a very changing world. Know this. If you can see it, it's up for change. I'm talking about in this world. Because the Word tells us that while we look not at the things which are seen, but the things that are unseen. Because the things that are seen, things that are not seen, are eternal. But the things that are seen, they're temporal. So know this. If there's something you don't like about what you see, it's up for change. If there's something you do like that you can see, it's still changeable. So don't don't attach your, your value, your self worth to something you can see because that is changeable. But in Christ is unchangeable. That we belong to him, he belongs to us. And I would say this, if we really realize and let our roots grow down deep into who we are in him that dispels all poor self image. So many times people struggle with a poor self image, that is because they're still trying to, if I could say this, identify with the natural man. If we'll identify with who we are in Christ, all the struggle is gone. And if I could say this to you, who we are in Christ is the same for every believer. There's nothing that one believer received of Christ more than another believer received in Christ. We are all on the same playing field, so to speak. Everything that belongs to one belongs to another. Now if you're just going to go off of your own natural achievements or you're going to go off something of the soul of man, something of the flesh of man, something of a profession or an education that doesn't give us the same playing field. We weren't all given the same start in life. And sometimes the devil will use that on people of the home you were raised in or the struggles of the home you were raised in, or where you were born or what, what community you were raised in. And the devil will talk you out of receiving God's best because he'll point it back to, well, look how you were raised. Look at the city you were raised in or the town or even the country you were raised in that you can't have the things that Pastor Nancy's teaching on this broadcast, which is a complete lie. Because what I teach is what belongs to us in Christ, not what belongs to us as a citizen of earth. It is about who we are in Christ. So don't ever let the devil point to something of the flesh and something of the natural to make you think that you don't have available to you all that is available to other believers in Christ. No one is given anything more or anything less. We all have Him. We all have all that God has put in the treasure box of, of Christ. And Christ is in us. What's that mean? Nothing of heaven's best is outside of our reach. We can all partake of who he is in us and who we are in Him. Now the skill is this. We possess everything because we possess him. But we're not all partaking of, of everything we possess. Now this is why we teach on these episodes in Christ, because We're teaching not only what belongs to us in Christ, but how to become a partaker of what's ours in Christ. I want us to go to Philemon, and there's only one chapter in Philemon in verse six. And I'm going to ask them to put that on the screen for me because I want us to see this vital instruction, Philemon, in verse six. And it talks about what belongs to us because we're in Christ. And so I want us to see that the Word has given us very definite steps to take very specific instructions so that we can not just appreciate that we're in Christ, but we can partake of what belongs to us in Christ. So look at how Philemon, chapter one, verse six reads. It says that the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of. Look at this. Every good thing which is in you, in Christ Jesus. So notice this. If it's in Christ Jesus, it's in you. And none of him has been withheld from us. But I want you to see this wording that the communication of thy faith. Or we could say the release of thy faith, the expression of your faith, it becomes effectual. Or we could say this. Our faith goes into effect when we acknowledge every good thing that is in us, because Christ Jesus is in us. So how do we become a partaker and not just a possessor? We partake by acknowledging what's in us. So if we don't know what's in us, we can't acknowledge it. And if we don't acknowledge it, then our faith is not activated toward it. Know this, that it's only the part of the Word that we acknowledge that will work for us. You know, when I was growing up in a denominational church, Precious people. But we weren't being taught some of the things that I'm teaching on this broadcast. And we never heard of Jesus as a healer. And because we did not know that he was a healer, we never acknowledged him as healer. As a healer. And because of that, I never saw anyone in our church healed. Because we never heard that God was a provider for us. We never acknowledged, when we faced a difficult financial situation, we were not taught to draw on heaven. And because of that, I never heard of a financial miracle happening in our church. We were not ever taught the laws of salvation. We never heard. I never heard, growing up, you have to be born again and you have to call on the name of the Lord to be saved. Meaning you just acknowledge him as your receiver, as your. As your. As your redeemer. Rather, notice that the way you get saved is the way you receive everything from God. You acknowledge you're not born again until you acknowledge, I need a Savior and I receive Jesus as my Savior. The exact same way you received salvation is the way you receive every other thing that belongs to you in Christ. You acknowledge it. And this is what Philemon is telling us. Our faith will go into effect when we acknowledge. Look at this. Every good thing. So what's that mean? We have to be specific when we're believing God. Faith must be specific. Many times people will say, well, God wants me to have it, he'll give it to me. That's not how faith works. Faith is specific and you have to know some things so that you can be specific. And so you don't just say, everything God has for me, I just take it. Well, that's a. That's where to start. But you're going to have to narrow that down and you're going to have to say, in this situation, this is what I'm believing God for. When I'm facing this financial situation, I'm believing this. When I'm facing this physical situation, I'm believing this. And it's all the same flow of faith. But you still have to know some specifics. Think of it. At creation, God did not just say everything be, and then it's all there. No, every day held its own power flow. Every day had God speaking specifically things for that day. And because he was specific, faith flowed. And so we see this, we have to know some specifics. We have to discover what belongs to us in Christ. We cannot be blessed staying ignorant of what belongs to us, because although everything belongs to us, we can't partake of it until we know about it specifically. So how do we become moved from just a possessor to a partaker? We have to acknowledge. What's that mean? We have to say something. It matters what we're saying. And I would say this is, it matters what you're saying quietly to yourself. Because some people think, well, I didn't say it out loud. Well, it does need to be spoken out loud. But I will say this. What you're saying to yourself is still what you're saying. You know, we've had people communicate with our ministry and say, Pastor Nancy, you talk about releasing your faith through saying, but I am not able, for whatever reason, I'm not able to speak out loud. Can I still release my faith? Absolutely. Because faith is a flow of the heart. And so whether you're even heard audibly, it's what you're saying inwardly and what you're saying to others. And sometimes if you're unable to speak out loud to others, you still are speaking something to yourself and something to God, something inwardly. And not only that, people who are not able to vocalize something, they still communicate things, right? Well, it just is. What is it that you believe that you're communicating, however you're communicating. But if you're able to speak out loud, speak out loud. That is so important. But I have, I've seen this in 25 years that I pastored, is that some people learned how to control their tongue so they didn't say the wrong thing, but yet they said the wrong thing to themselves. And I've seen that happen time and time again. It's not just about not speaking the wrong thing out loud, but it's also not speaking the wrong thing to yourself because what you're thinking about, what you're meditating on is what you're saying to yourself. So that is critical when we talk about that. We have to acknowledge everything that God has made ours in Christ for it to begin to operate and flow to and partake of it. We can't out loud say, I'm believing God to provide for this bill, and then we're going to bed and worrying about what am I going to do if it doesn't get paid. See what you're saying? Everywhere has to be the same. It has to line up. So when we talk about acknowledging who you are in Christ, acknowledging what belongs to you, that's going to take in our thought life. Because it's not just our verbal communication that is. Or it's not just verbal communication that is allowing God to operate or allowing the devil to operate. It's also what we're meditating on. And can I tell you this, the spirit realm also works by thought. And let me explain it to you this way. People who have gone to heaven, they would talk about, when I was in heaven, I would just think something and it would happen. I would maybe they were thinking about wanting to go to a location in heaven and they would find themselves there. Now, do we have scripture for that? Well, remember what Jesus said? He was talking about a living clean, and he was talking about if a. If someone looks upon another person that's not their spouse and lusts after them sexually, even though if they didn't commit any act, if they thought the act and embrace that, that heaven counted that as guilty, what is that? Because what we're saying to ourselves, although no one Else hears it is still what we're saying. Now you need to get hold of that. That's going to help us and recognize. Help us to recognize we have to control our thought life. Just because no one knows what you're thinking I'm talking about no other human knows what you're thinking does not mean that what we're thinking we ought to be thinking. We have to. If I could say this, not just the words of our mouth be right, but David said this way, the meditations of my heart be pleasing to the Lord. What's he saying? What I'm thinking. When no one else knows what I'm thinking, God knows what I'm thinking. And so I want all of that to line up with the words of my mouth. So when we talk about words of faith, we're also talking about including words of faith that are just spoken within that only we know what we're meditating on, what we're entertaining. And can I tell you what, that's your big job. What are you allowing yourself to do, to think about? And sometimes people have stepped into a flow of worry. They're thinking about something now. See, dad Hagin taught us. He would say it to us over and over again. How do you know if you're worrying if you're thinking about it? Well, see, sometimes I've learned this, that Christians will say faith confessions with their mouth, but they'll think fewer thoughts to themselves. It's not going to work. Faith words don't work when there's fear thoughts behind faith words. So what are we doing? We're bringing everything in line with the word of God. This is what? 2 Corinthians, chapter 10, verse 5. Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. What's this mean? He's talking about where you let your imagination go, where your thought life goes. And it has to be in agreement with faith words. Speaking faith words. But having thoughts and imaginations that are different will keep your faith words from working. Because it's polluted source the thought life, it has to be brought in control. So if we're faith people, we also have to say I'm self disciplined in my thoughts life. I am disciplining my thought life. I remember years ago I was faced with a lot of big decisions all at once. I had, if I could say this, a lot of business on my plate. I had a lot of work that had to be done. This was right after my husband went home to be with The Lord. There were a lot of projects to complete, and something happened to where somebody put an unnecessary thing on my plate. They just created another, if I could say this issue, and added it to my plate. And I was so disappointed that with everything I've got on my plate, that someone just mindlessly dropped another thing on my plate. And I'm sitting there thinking about it. Oh, I wish they hadn't have done that. And I'm just sitting there doing, thinking about that and thinking about that. And about 30 minutes later, the Spirit of God said to me, you can think about that if you want, but to think about that, you're giving up fellowship with me. What's that mean? I want my thoughts to be in fellowship with God. I don't want my thoughts to be in fellowship with disappointment, with fear, with regrets, with sorrows. What's this mean? Fellow? Faith people are taking charge of every facet of their being. That's the only way faith works unhindered, is that we're bringing our. Our hearts, we're bringing our thought lives, we're bringing our words, we're bringing our actions into agreement with the word of God. Because that's when we'll have an effect with our faith. Sometimes people will say, well, Pastor Nancy, I'm confessing and I'm confessing, but nothing is changed, changing. Well, what. What's going on in your thought life? What's going on in, if I could say this, your home. How many of you know faith comes by hearing, but faith operates by love. Are we walking in love in our home? Because all of these things affect our faith life. For us to become a partaker of all the things that we possess in Christ, we have to pay attention to. To not just what is heard audibly, but what is going on inwardly. Because God knows our hearts, and he doesn't know our hearts to accuse us. He knows our hearts to help elevate us, to bring us into the highest flow. And he wants to not just deal with what is seen by others, but he wants to deal with the insides of man. Why? Because God is building a man. And God is. Christ is in us. And he's wanting our life to be built to look like Christ. Amen. And so we know this. It's a privilege to have Christ on the inside of us, but it's our privilege also to bring every feature of our being in line with the greater one, who's on the inside of us. Amen. Well, we're going to continue along this line, and you don't want to miss any upcoming episodes. And we want to say this, we want to remind you, go back and watch any of the previous hundred episodes you may have missed. And if one episode seems to really speak to a specific need you're facing, watch that over and over and over and feed on it. Because that's one form of meditating on it. And when you meditate on the Word, that's how you get it in you. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the Healer. God bless you.

Episode 861 | "In Christ I Can, Part 101"
Date: October 20, 2025
Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
In this landmark 101st entry of the “In Christ I Can” series, Nancy Dufresne delves deeply into the believer’s identity “in Christ” and the practical ways to transition from simply possessing spiritual blessings to actively partaking in them. The episode emphasizes understanding, acknowledging, and drawing upon what God has placed within every believer — namely, His own Spirit and abilities — to live a victorious, faith-filled life.
Nancy Dufresne masterfully challenges listeners to go beyond mere doctrinal understanding of being “in Christ” to the daily practice of possessing and partaking in God’s promises. Listeners are equipped to critically assess both their self-talk and declarations, ensuring their faith is active, effectual, and unwavering—anchored in their unchanging position in Christ.
