There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the healer. We invite you to get something to take notes on, follow along in your Bible. And we're going to. We're believing that you're going to hear answers for your life. And the Word is our answer book. And so we are just joyful to be able to share this time with you. So thank you for joining us and loving the Word. And we're just growing together, aren't we? Amen. And we have been on a series, we're well over 100 episodes now. Teaching on in Christ. I. I can. And really, you could spend a lifetime teaching on this subject. Because when we understand who we are in Christ and who Christ is in us and what he wants to be through us, it gives us the highest order of faith. And so when we. We take our place in Christ, listen, we have a place in Christ, but we need to learn to take our place, the place that in Christ gives us. And what that does, that removes all struggle from our life. When you realize that I'm putting the greater one to work for me, you know, Jesus made the statement when he was in his earthly ministry, he said, my Father in me, he does the works. So what do we see about Jesus? That he made confessions. And in his confessions, we see how he operated. And we could. We need to learn to say this. I'm putting Christ to work for me today because he's in there so that we'll respond to him. He's in there, so we'll yield to him. Well, what does it mean to yield to the one, to Christ that's in you? Well, it's to respond to him, draw on him. And as we do that, and we're more mindful of that, I have no doubt that Jesus wasn't just saying something for the hearer. But he was saying something that would also help himself. My father in me, he does the works. You know, whenever I minister to people and you find somebody that stands in front of you in a service, who, in calling for a healing line, ministering to the sick, and sometimes from some very difficult situation, standing in front of you physically. And at those times, I don't step back from them because I know it's not me doing the work, it's him in me doing the work. And you need to remind yourself when you're faced with something difficult, I mean for you, naturally, for you to achieve on your own, just remember this. My father in me. He's in me to work. He's in me to do it through me. You know, the Word also says this, that the Lord is the strength of our life. Well, what are we to remember? Put him to work for us. When the Word says the Lord is the strength of my life, he's not just telling us that God will touch our human strength and make it better than it was. He is our strength. Well, we're in Christ and He's in us to perform. He's in us to fulfill. He's in us to produce something that could not produce, be produced apart from Him. You know, the Word talks about in John chapter 15 that the entire chapter is talking and referring to that. Jesus is the vine, we are the branch. Do you know that with the branch, because it's attached to the vine, there is nothing that the vine contains that is withheld from the branch. Every single attribute and characteristic of the vine has a free flow into the branch. Well, Jesus is the branch, is the vine, we are the branch. There is nothing of him that is withheld from us. So when we really discover what all that means for our life, why would we try to just spend us when we could lean on him, draw on him, respond to him, let him direct our actions. Because when we're following the actions that he directs, then he fills those actions with Himself. It's Acts chapter 17 and verse 28, I believe that says, in him we live, in him we move, and in him we have our being. My goodness. We could take each one of those three phrases and preach whole sermons on them. In him, in him we live. In other words, God does not want us to try to accomplish living apart from leaning, drawing, depending on Him. In him we live. Look at this. In him we move. What's that mean? We shouldn't make a move unless we know how God is leading us in that move. That before I Make decisions before I go a particular direction in my life or in ministry. I look inward. I turn to the greater One within me to see how he is leading me. Because I want to make movement in line with how he's leading. Because the more we follow his movement, the less mistakes we make, the less wrong choices we make. And so there can be a time that whenever we are so skilled at recognizing how he's leading us, that there can be a time when we never go another wrong direction again in life. Why? Because in him we live. In him we move. And I like this next phrase. In him it says, we have our being. But I like this. In him we have. There's nothing my life needs that it doesn't have. In him that he is the provision, he is the supply, he is the help for every single need. And in Him I have it all. So why would we go back to drawing on us when we could draw on Him? And so Jesus Himself made the statement, My Father in Me, he does the works. Now, part of renewing our mind to who we are in Christ is we need to learn to make that part of our speech. My Father in Me, he's helping me today. My Father in Me, he's leading me by His Spirit. My Father in me, he's strengthening me. If we will learn to draw on the One who's in us and make it. If I could say this, be very vocal about it. Not to people who don't understand, not to people who don't know what you're talking about. But I'm saying to yourself, you could be writing to work, and you could say, today is going to be better just because I'm going to be drawing on who's in me, that no matter what I encounter today, that the One in me is greater than what I'll encounter. And so what that does. That diffuses all difficulty, it diffuses all struggle. Because He. He is everything that we need him to be, then there is no struggle left in life. And I want you to know, God did not author a hard life for any of us. The Word tells us this. It says, the way of the transgressor is hard. What's that mean? If we're veering from who he is, if we're veering from his leading, if we're veering from the way he's directing us, that's when we step into a hard flow. But remember what Jesus said. Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. What's this mean? We're not to have a hard, struggling life. And I've decided anything of hardness, I'm not going to participate in. Now I will. I know this, that you're going to have. That doesn't mean you're not going to have challenges that come. But I'm not going to let that challenge get in me because I already have the greater one in me. Tests and trials are going to come. I don't care who you are. Tests and trials are going to come, but they don't have to get in you. And you don't have to get into a hard flow. Because if we learn to put him to work for us, then he does the work and he carries us into his success. So how does he do the work? Through us, number one, we have to listen to him. We have to perceive what is he saying to us. And then, not only that, we have to obey what he says. So faith hears, but also faith obeys. You know, whenever. When you're raising children, do you know that you have divine help in raising children? If you'll pay attention. I mean, there were times that God would speak to me. God would let me know where my kids were, what they were doing, and why. Because he's going to assist me, because I'm the one responsible. My husband and I, we were responsible to raise our children rightly. And God would not expect something out of us without helping us with what he expects. What about when you run up to a difficulty? I remember that when my oldest son, he's married now, been married, oh, my goodness, about 20 years now. But before he married, he came to me and he says, mom, I don't want to marry someone or date someone. You don't think I could marry. And so, you know, he would consult with us about anyone he would possibly date. And I remember when he came to me and asking about a certain situation and I went away to pray and I said, God, you know, we've taught our children that it needs to matter to them what their parents think. You know, you don't want your kids to say, well, I don't care what my parents think. Well, you need to teach them that that's a flow of honor. I'm not. I don't. I don't direct my children, but I train them in the sense of I get the direction. We got the direction from God for their life. And then we trained them in how God directed that their lives were to go. I knew that my oldest son would be in the traveling ministry. I knew that my youngest son would be Pastor and both of them are doing that today. My husband and I followed God's direction on that, and then we trained them in line with that. But in that. When my son was approaching the age of marriage and I knew that he was getting ready to meet the person he would marry, I just had that sense. Why? Because God will lead us in that. He will not leave us on our own to live by trial and error. He wants to be involved in every single aspect. And I remember I was praying for him one day, and I was praying about, you know, a possible spouse for my son because I knew that he was reaching that age. I knew that that season was approaching. And God said to me, go south. Well, I knew what God meant by that because our family would vacation in the Southern states of the United States at times we had relatives in those regions and we would go visit. And so I went in and I told my husband, I said, we're going to take our oldest son down with us. We were getting ready to go preach in a Southern state. And I said, we're going to take him with us. I don't even know. I didn't tell my son what God said. I don't even remember if I told my husband or not. But we took my son, and in taking him, he met the girl he ended up marrying. And so what is this? God will lead us in every single aspect and arena of our life. Brother Hagin talks about years ago, he was preaching at a particular church, and the pastors had a granddaughter that was off visiting the other set of grandparents. And when Brother Hagin was there holding meetings in their church, the granddaughter was supposed to come back on a bus back home. And when Brother Hagin was there and Mom Hagin and him were in the pastor's home, they were staying there with the pastors. And I believe it was after a morning service and. And mom and dad Hagin were in the bedroom at the pastor's home, just, you know, resting for the evening service. And they heard some crying. And dad Hagin said it was the kind of crying that made you think that someone. It was a serious. You know, it was more of a wailing. It wasn't just a soft cry. It was really a quite heartbreaking cry. He said, like if someone had just heard that, someone died, something dramatic. So he sent Mom Hagin out to go see what was wrong. And so Mom Hagin came back and she said to dad, she said, well, the grandparents who are the pastors, went to pick up the granddaughter from the bus station. And when they got there, she was not on that bus. And so of course, they're imagining that the worst has happened to their granddaughter. So this grandmother, who's the pastor's wife, is crying profusely. And so they were at the service and Sid, the grandmother, was there still in the pastor's office, and she was crying. And dad Hagin said, just break your heart listening to her, how she was crying. It was affecting her so much. And he said to her, he said, sister, don't cry. She's all right. And she stopped crying for a moment and she said to Brother Hagin, well, did God say that to you? And he said, well, well, no. But he said, God and I have a working relationship. And if something, if something serious had happened to your granddaughter, God would have told me, because God makes me a blessing to the homes I'm in and said, I can go as much by what God doesn't say as by what he does say. And so because he didn't tell me something has gone wrong with her, I can know that nothing has gone wrong with her. Well, that didn't satisfy the grandmother enough. And so she went back to crying. And so Brother Hagin again said to her, sister, don't cry like that, and said, I know nothing bad has happened to her. And he said, when I said it, all of a sudden I had a vision. And he said, I saw their granddaughter get off of a bus, come into a bus station where the bus had stopped just for like a rest area, and said she went out and got on a bus. But he said, I saw that the bus she had gotten off of had driven off and another bus had come. She just got on the wrong bus. And so dad Hagin saw that play off right before him like on a television screen. And so he said that to the grandparents, and of course they felt relieved. And at four o'clock in the morning, the bus station called and they said, we found your daughter. She had gotten on the wrong bus, been taken to a wrong city, but at 4 o' clock in the morning, she'll be back at the right city and you can come pick her up. And Brother Hagin. Now listen to this. Brother Hagin said, well, people would say, well, you knew that about her because you're a prophet. And he said, that is not why. I knew it. He said, I knew it because the Holy Ghost is in me and I pray in other tongues. I want you to know the Holy Ghost is in you. This is part of our in Christ help, our in Christ privileges that we have. The Greater one on the inside of us. And he's in there to help diffuse situations. I guarantee you this, that I don't like drama. I don't care for people creating drama just to create a big effect. I don't appreciate making a situation look bigger than it is. And, and God doesn't do that either. He does not try to elevate a situation. When God speaks, peace comes. When God moves, everything is calm, everything goes into place. And that's the way we can expect our life. Even though situations come up that can be dramatic, the situation can be dramatic, but we don't have to have a drama filled life. We can have peace in the midst of all kinds of dramatic circumstances. And that is part of our in Christ privileges. But it happens as we in him we live, in him we move, and in him we have our being. And that's what I so appreciate about dad Hagin is that he emphasized teaching us. And he was, he was a spiritual father to my, to my husband and I for decades. But, but one of the things he majored on was following the Holy Ghost. When you follow the Holy Ghost, you are following the greater one on the inside of you. You have in Christ help following the Holy Ghost. What that means is if we learn to recognize how he's leading us. Remember what Jesus said. He said, my sheep know my voice and the voice of another, they won't follow. Notice what Jesus didn't say. He didn't say the voice of another, they won't hear. You will hear wrong voices. But when you know how to recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit, you'll say, I'm not following any other thing except the voice of the Holy Spirit. It doesn't matter what voice I hear. And many times people think if they hear anything they hear, they think it's God. That's not true. The devil will speak, circumstances will speak to you, people will speak to you. But you have to learn to recognize God's leading in that which you hear. And so just because you hear it, even you can hear it in a very spectacular manner. That doesn't mean it's God. It has to be judged. And so we can learn to recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit. And if we'll learn to follow the Holy Spirit, he will direct us in, out of, out of, and away from wrong decisions. And he'll direct us toward right decisions. Like I said, if we will learn to follow the Holy Ghost, the closer we follow, it's possible to never miss it again, to never go another wrong direction in Life. I mean, I married the right man for my life. And that came because I followed the Holy Ghost whenever I was in wrong relationships. Before I met and married my husband, I had a sense, I had a knowing on the inside of me that isn't the right one. And so that was the Holy Spirit trying to lead and guide us. So just learn to turn toward the greater one that's on the inside that you respond to him, that you yield to him. And you know, some, sometimes people haven't been taught what it means to follow the Holy Spirit. Let me say this. You can't go by the mind, because the mind can come up with all kinds of things. The devil will speak to the mind. When God speaks to you, he speaks to your spirit. And it floats up to enlighten your mind. But it did not originate with your mind. God always speaks to your spirit, and then it floats up and enlightens your mind. So it's possible to never miss it again if we will recognize how the Spirit is leading us. Now let me tell you how to become sensitive to the leading of the spirit. Number one, you have to feed on the word, because the Holy Spirit will only ever lead us in line with the Word. It has to be in agreement with what the Word says. Number two, if you will take time to speak in other tongues, it makes you, your spirit, more sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit who is in your spirit. And then you'll recognize, did this thought come from my spirit or did this thought originate with my mind? Because like I said, when God speaks to you, you won't recognize what he's saying until it floats up and enlightens your mind. You know, your spirit knows things your mind hasn't caught up with yet. Your spirit contains God, makes the plan of God known to your spirit. So your spirit knows things, but you have to gain the understanding of that. Praying in other tongues helps us to recognize what the Spirit of God is saying to us. So know this. The devil, when he speaks, it comes to the mind. But it comes from outside against the mind. When the Holy Ghost speaks, God speaks to our spirit. And it floats up and enlightens the mind. So you have to learn. Wait a minute. Did that come from within or did that come from outside? And just because you heard it, doesn't mean it was God. You have to be able to judge and discern. Now, that's what dad Hagin was talking about with that situation with the grandparents and their granddaughter. Is that because he was saying sensitive to the Holy Spirit? Then he could recognize how the Spirit of God was leading in that situation. You can recognize it. It's not just up to a minister. The greater one is in you, Christ in you, the hope of glory. And he's in there to lead you into success. That it is possible to not ever enter into a wrong marriage, not enter into a wrong business, not enter into a wrong direction. If we'll take time to follow the Holy Ghost. Because that's what I did with my marriage. I was led by the Spirit of God and ended up marrying right. And he will lead us not just in the big decisions, but in daily decisions. He will direct us and guide us. You say, well, Pastor Nancy, how do I know if he's leading me in a particular direction? Primarily, number one, you'll have peace in your spirit. Now, if you have peace about doing something, the Word tells us that you shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace. So what do we do? We follow the peace that leads us. Now know this. Sometimes you can have peace in your spirit and your mind be giving you fits. Your mind can be going into all this activity, but just ignore the mind recognize do I have peace about doing this in my spirit? Regardless of what my mind is calculating, regardless of what my mind tries to figure out, do I have peace or do I not have peace? Sometimes I've known that I wasn't supposed to do something and I knew it on the inside of me, but it made sense to my head. I don't know why I can't do it. I don't know why it doesn't seem right. But in here it doesn't seem right. Seem right. Even if I don't understand why something isn't right, if I don't have peace about it in my spirit, I don't do it. Even if it makes natural sense to do it. So I just tell you this. The Holy Ghost is on the inside of you. That's part of your in Christ privileges. To lead you and guide you so that if you'll learn to consult with the Holy Ghost in you, if you will say, how are you leading me, Father? Through your Spirit on this situation, I guarantee you he will help you to know the leading of the Spirit. You can know and recognize whether you have peace about something or whether you don't. If I have peace, that is the Spirit leading me to do it. If I don't have peace, that's the Spirit leading me not to do it. But this is part of what belongs to us in Christ because God wants us to live a life where we're not living by guessing and going, but we're hearing and we're knowing and we're making steps in line with his plan. Well, we don't want you to miss next time. And until then, remember this Jesus is the Healer. God bless you.

Episode 863 | In Christ I Can, Part 103
Date: October 22, 2025
Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
This episode continues Nancy Dufresne’s long-running series “In Christ I Can,” focusing on the believer’s identity in Christ and practical steps for living out that reality. Nancy emphasizes the importance of knowing who we are in Christ, yielding to the Holy Spirit, drawing on God’s strength within, and learning to follow His leading in every area of life. She illustrates these truths through scriptural teaching and personal stories, encouraging listeners to step away from struggle and into the peace and provision that are theirs in Christ.
“My Father in me, He does the works.” ([02:03])
This is presented as a confession for the believer as well.
“In him we live, in him we move, and in him we have our being.” ([04:14])
“There is nothing my life needs that it doesn’t have in him. He is the provision, he is the supply, he is the help for every single need.” ([06:38])
“Faith hears, but also faith obeys.” ([10:11])
“When God speaks, peace comes. When God moves, everything is calm, everything goes into place.” ([20:23])
“God and I have a working relationship. And if something…serious had happened to your granddaughter, God would have told me, because God makes me a blessing to the homes I’m in…I can go as much by what God doesn’t say as by what he does say.” ([17:45])
Nancy Dufresne’s teaching in this episode centers on living every moment conscious of Christ within, depending on His power, and being led by His Spirit. The message is clear: in Christ, not only is every need met, but every decision can be guided by His peace and provision—if we will only listen, receive, and respond. This episode is rich in encouragement for those seeking a practical, Spirit-led walk with God.
