There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now. I receive it right now from the top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the Healer. And we are continuing in the series called In Christ I Can. And we're just glad that you're able to join us today. And we invite you that if you've missed previous episodes, because we're well over 100 in the episodes of this series, go back and watch anyone that you may have missed. And if I would say this to you also, is if there's particular episodes that seem to minister to you in a very personal way, then go back and watch those not just once, but over and over again. Build the truth of the Word in you that you hear in the teaching. Because the. That's one form of meditating on the Word. And it's when you meditate on the Word and get it in you, that's when you start getting the results that God intended for you. Amen. We have been having such a good time in talking about in him truths because if you're born again, you're in Christ. Christ is in you. And so we've made some materials available for you. We have three different formats, actually. We have a small one that you can go to our website@jesustheheater.org and you can download these completely for free. We want you to get hold of it. So there's a smaller version and you can print it out if you want, or you can just keep it on your device. And this just has some of the main scriptures that refer to in Christ. And then we have. We have another one that looks like this. This is the complete listing of all of the in him scriptures. And then this with the blue cover, we have a pastor friend who. What he did is he went through all of the. All of the complete listing of in him and Him. Him and his wife had compiled this years ago. And they drew on 229 different Bible translations and they pulled the best of those for each verse and they compiled them for us. And he allowed us to post them on our website for you. So we invite you. It is a wonderful, wonderful tool for you to feed on, especially the one that has all the different translations. Go to the website@jesusthehealer.org and as I said, you can download those for free. You can print them out if you want, or just keep them on your device, but don't let those resources go untapped because they're so rich. When you get revelation of who he is in you, who you are in him, and what you can, what he will do through you, but also what he will do, he'll do for you. And so we want you to become skillful with that. Amen. We have been talking about the in him truths, and one of the things that I want you to know is that when you establish this revelation of who you are in Christ, in you, it brings you into the highest order of faith. And that it brings you into the highest order of faith is that you're going to be able to receive from God with ease. How many of you know that God's not made it hard? I refuse to believe that receiving from God is a difficulty. It belongs to every single one of his children. But what makes it difficult is when we start bringing the mental and the reasoning arena in and we start measuring, calculating, reasoning things out. But, you know, whenever you saw Jesus ministering to people in his earthly ministry, those who believed, those who came to him expecting to receive something from him, they always received. And it was people from all walks of life, people, all ages, people, people under all kinds of different education levels, and notice every single one of them could receive. Because receiving is not hard. Receiving is easy. It's the mental arena that turns things difficult when it tries to reason and calculate. So I really, when I go to receive something from God, I say, receiving is so easy for me. And you need to say that for you, receiving is so easy because God did the hard part of providing it. It's just our job say, yes, I accept that. I agree with it. And we don't let our minds go in a direction that would argue with that. Then, of course, too many times people will get their own. They'll get their own definition around receiving, and they will think, well, I have to do this to earn it, and I have to do that to earn it. Listen, if it's part of your inheritance of what belongs to you in Christ, There is no earning involved. It's not about earning something from God. It's about receiving what he's already made ours. And so this is what we need to become skillful at. Receiving is easy. So you need to say that I always receive when I release my faith. I always receive. Because when you release faith, power always flows. Always. There's no such thing as us releasing faith and power not meeting that. It always begins moving in our situation. Now this is where many people get tripped up sometimes is they think that everything that they receive from God has to be instantaneous or it didn't work. Well, that's not true. Is people will say, well, when Jesus ministered, everything was instantaneous with him. Well, there were a few cases where it was not instantaneous. The Word says that. Remember when the lepers, they were standing off from Jesus a great distance and they cried out to him. They said, have mercy on us. And he said, go show yourself to the priest. And it said as they went, they were healed. It didn't say that they instantaneously received. It was a process with every step of obedience that they took. Then healing began working in them. And then there was the man he ministered to whom who had vision problems. He was blind. And Jesus ministered to him. And then Jesus said, tell me what you see. And he said, I see men as trees walking. What's that mean? The vision wasn't distinct. He was seeing more than he had, but it still wasn't clear. And he ministered to him a second time. What was that? It wasn't instantaneous. Did Jesus power get diminished? No. That man had been in a city fellowshipping with people who, who were not receiving what God had for them. And Jesus took him outside that city to minister to him. What's that mean? There were three cities that Jesus had pronounced and said, another miracle will not be worked in this city. Why not? Because he was withholding, but because they refused to receive. So this man had been in one of those cities and it said that Jesus took him outside the city to minister to him. Why? Because that city had decided to no miracles here. So Jesus so wanted this man to receive that he just took him outside the city limits and ministered to him. But when he ministered to him, the man did not receive full sight at once. That wasn't Jesus fault. That was the man's fault because he had been fellowshipping in a place that was resisting the move of God, resisting the power of God. So it was really this man that was having difficulty receiving. It wasn't God's side, it was man's side. But on God's side, it's always easy. And on our side, we decide it's easy for me. Now, see, if you go, if we approach, I need a miracle. And my goodness, this is. This is hard. Well, it might be hard for man, but we're not to accuse something to be hard for God just because it's hard for man. The impossible is so easy for God. And so in Christ, we are free. We are authorized to say, in Christ, I always receive. In Christ, all has been made mine. So I receive and I partake of what is my present possession. Because I'm in Christ. It's not enough to possess something. We want to be partaking of what we possess. You say, well, Pastor Nancy, can I really possess something and not be partaking of it? Well, right now I have food at home in my kitchen. I possess it, but I'm not partaking of it right now. And some Christians go their whole life and never partake of the fullness of what they already possess because they're one with Christ. So what we need to realize is that receiving from God is so easy. It's simply partaking of what we already possess because we're in him now. We have to employ our faith to become a partaker of what's ours in Christ. What's ours in Christ will not. Will not come into manifestation automatically. It is faith that opens the door for what is ours to come into manifestation or for us to become partakers of it. Know this, that faith is such an important flow of the believer's life and to walk as one, as one that's in Christ. We have to join our faith to who he made us to be. We have to join our faith to what he made ours as our divine inheritance. And faith is important because it is the currency of heaven. And it's. If I could say it to you this way, it's not faith that heals you. It's faith that opens the door for the power of God that heals. But faith is a component. Faith is a companion to the power of God. It invites the power of God. Now think of this. The Word talks about that you are saved by grace through faith. It's not faith that saves you, but it's faith that is the open door that grace flows through that saves you. We're saved by the grace of God, but it is the faith on our part that opens the door to the grace of God to flow. It's the same thing with healing and it's the same thing with prosperity, that when we release our faith, now God's power has access to our need, and God's power will supply that need. And so really, faith is simply this. Faith is an open door. Or I could say it this way. Faith is a pipeline that the power of God flows through to reach your need. If we were to say, your need is here, God's God and His power are here. That faith is the conduit. Faith is the pipeline that allows the power of God to reach your need. And so faith is so very important because faith is our part. Doing the work is God's part. Remember what Jesus said. He said, my Father in me, he does the work. So our faith opens the door to God who does the work. So we want to realize this. It is so easy to. To please God. It's so easy to receive from God. And what is it that pleases God? The Word tells us that without faith, it's impossible to please God. Now that's Hebrew. Hebrews, chapter 11 and verse 6. Without faith, it's impossible to please God. And I want to say this to you. Without faith, it's impossible to live as one in Christ. Christ is in us. We are in Christ. But it takes faith to draw on who is in us. It takes faith that gives the One in us permission to manifest and work in our behalf. Now why does it say that without faith, it's impossible to please God? Does that mean he stands off and he's. And he is angry with anyone who's not in faith? It doesn't mean that. What it means is this. God so loves and so longs to help us when we are faced with a need that he is pleased when our faith gives him permission to work in our behalf. Now notice this. God is pleased to work for us. And if we don't have faith, then God is not able to work for us the way he wants to. The way he wants to. And he's not pleased when he sees us go with our need unmet. He's not pleased when he sees a struggle, when he knows that he is the answer to the. To every single need that you face. So we say this. Let's develop our faith in who we are in Christ. Let's release our faith of what belongs to us in Christ. And it pleases God when we do that. Amen. So we want God to be pleased. And the way he's pleased is helping us, working for us, manifesting for us, and manifesting through us. Now you know this faith comes one Way. Faith comes by hearing. Listen. When we hear what God says, faith is there. When we hear what God says in His Word, faith is there. Now, faith comes by hearing, but faith is not released by hearing. Now listen to this. Faith comes by hearing. But faith does not go into action by hearing. Faith goes into action by speaking and acting on the Word of God. So faith comes by hearing. But to release that faith, it comes out through what we say and through what we do. So when we're faith people, we're not just hearing, but we're also speaking and we're also acting on the Word. We are putting it into. Into. Into motion. So faith comes by hearing, but to we have to make sure we're listening and listening what? Listening to the Word, listening to the Holy Spirit. And how many of you know when the Holy Spirit speaks? It's always in agreement with the Word. Now, the Word is what God is saying to everyone. In a general sense, it applies to everyone that that verse is speaking to. But the Holy Spirit, he will spe the specifics about your life because the Word tells you, my God, my God shall supply all your need according to his riches and glory by Christ Jesus. Well, one need that we have in this life is to have a home, a place where we live, a place where our family is cared for. Well, how many of you know, God says he'll supply that need, but the Holy Spirit will direct you to which city to live in, which home is yours. He'll give you the specifics. So the Spirit of God always speaks in line with what the Word has already said. Said. But for faith to come, we have to hear what God is saying. And too many times people are trying to have faith when all they need to do is hear what God's saying to you. Because faith is automatically there when you hear what God says to you. Now, in Christ, one of the things that belongs to us is the leading of the Spirit. The Spirit of God will always lead us. And it's up to us to listen to his leading. And then we are to attach our faith to what he says. Now, I want to make something clear to people because as I said earlier, sometimes people think that faith is only working and the Word is only working, and the power of God is only flowing if they receive their answer instantaneously. But know this, that not everything we receive from God is instantaneous, but it's still supernatural. And so don't limit God to the instantaneous, because this is where people will miss it by thinking that I didn't receive it. If it didn't show up instantly. No, we know this, that the power of God is supernatural and it's working in us, for us and through us. But we know this faith is a lifestyle. And so it says, the just shall live by faith. And then the Word tells us walk by faith, not by sight. What's that mean? It's our manner of daily living. And as we make faith a lifestyle, faith in God, faith in the word of God, a lifestyle that every day we will see advancement and we will see those things which our faith opened the door to manifest in our lives. Now, so many times people think that faith is only working when their answer appears. But I want you to know that faith is for the invisible. Faith is for what has not yet shown up. Once it manifests, you don't need faith for anything. You see, faith is for the unseen. So when the devil says, look at that, you're releasing faith for this and it's not showing up, your faith isn't working. Say devil, since you don't know what faith is and how it works, let me tell you how it works. Faith is for what is not seen. And so, because I still believe without seeing, I'm still in faith. My faith is working because it is still, it still has laid hold of what's unseen. And I am still in faith because I am, I believe, I receive what I yet I don't yet see. And God said, that's the blessed person. Remember what Jesus said to Thomas? He said, thomas, you want to believe because you see something. But he said, blessed are those who, who believe and have not seen. So faith is dealing with the unseen. And how many of you know in Christ all that belongs to you? You might not see it right, you may not see it right now, but it's still yours. And faith lays hold of everything that Christ has provided for it. And I want you to know this, that many times, like I said, people think that faith is only working at the moment their answer manifests. But can I tell you what also faith does? Faith stands its ground. Faith is an act. It's an act of faith to resist the devil. It's an act of faith to refuse to believe. Wrong thinking. It's an act of faith that you're just standing on what God says in the face of everything that says it's not going to happen. And you say, I'm standing on the Word. That's as much a part of the Word as receiving a manifestation is part of the Word. Not only that, faith must hold fast to the Word. Of God for the answer to manifest. Then once the answer does manifest, you know what you have to do. You still have to hold fast to what you've received. This is part of what we have to learn in Christ. If we're going to be a partaker of all that's ours in Christ, it won't automatically drop on us and it won't automatically stay in our lives without us releasing our faith. We have to receive it by faith. But by faith we hold fast. We hold fast to what we have, and we don't let the devil steal it from us. Now know this. Anytime you receive something from God, the devil is busy trying to steal it from you. Anytime that you begin to see that in Christ something's provided for you, the devil wants to make you think that it works for everyone but you. So he will challenge you when you go to release your faith for something that maybe you haven't received before from God. And the devil will try to make you think your faith isn't working. Let me give you an example. There was one minister friend of mine who he was teaching in a healing school, and he would just teach on the truths of healing. And he says, I noticed that when we would teach on who we are in Christ, the authority that is ours in Christ, what belongs to us in Christ, and in that to receive of that resisting the devil. And he says, I would notice that many of the people who were part of that healing school, their symptoms would seemingly get worse at that time. What was that? He said the devil is trying to make them think by increasing the opposition against them, that their faith doesn't work for them, or their authority doesn't work for them, or their in Christ privileges doesn't work for them. Well, do we have scripture that would show that that's a strategy of the devil to increase opposition at a time that you're standing in faith? Well, what about with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego? That King Nebuchadnezzar said, you're I'm going to have music played. And at the time that music plays, every one of his leaders were to bow down and worship a golden image which Nebuchadnezzar had set up. And so when that music played, everyone bowed down and worshiped this image except for Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They just stood up. So how many of you know when everyone's bowing, it's going to be obvious who's still standing. And that was Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. So These men were hauled in front of the King. And the king said, I'm going to give you another chance. We're going to play the music again and you better bow down and worship. Of course they said, well, we're not careful to answer you in this matter. They said, we're still not going to bow down. And so what did the King do? He became angry because he was being challenged. So what did he do? He said, heat the furnace seven times hotter. Know this, when you go to challenge the devil's movement in your life, he may try to turn on the heat, but he's still a defeated foe. If you will stand your ground and say, in Christ, healing is mine, in Christ, prosperity is mine, in Christ, victory is mine. It doesn't matter how symptoms or circumstances may escalate against you. Your faith is for the good fight and your faith in God, it'll hold you steady no matter what the opposition is. So don't think that because something belongs to you in Christ that it's going to go unchallenged. You're going to have to release your faith and hold fast to what belongs to you in Christ. Amen. So be encouraged even if something doesn't show up quickly, immediately. And I will say this, if we will give an all out effort toward the Word, it won't take long for your answer to Manifest. You do not have to wait for months to and years for an answer to Manifest. If we are giving our full attention to the Word, what takes long is when we're divided in our attention, we're giving. If I could say this, the Word just a mere glance instead of our wholeheartedness. So if something seems to be delayed in you needing to receive an answer, how about this? Just increase your time in the Word, increase meditating on the Word, increase your speaking of the Word. Because what you're doing is you are causing this to speed up the manifestation by your faith, putting a greater demand on it. Now know this. It's not God who delays any manifestation. It is not God slow in manifesting our help and our answer. But we have, we have an enemy and we have opposition that tries to interfere and block and get in the way of your manifestation. But if you will continue to release your faith, if you will continue to hold fast to the Word of God, hold fast to who you are in Christ in the face of opposition, then what are you doing is the power of God will continue to flow and it will reach far past that opposition and it will come into manifestation. So just know this, because all things belong to us in Christ. We still have to release our faith, we still have to stand in faith, and we still have to hold fast to what belongs to us in Christ, even when opposition is trying to hinder its manifestation. Because what what God has made ours in Christ, nothing can steal from us. And if we will just keep holding on our ground, standing our ground on the Word of God, we will always receive. And you can say this with me, Receiving is easy for me. Go ahead and say it with me. Receiving is easy for me. I always receive. Well, we're going to continue along this line. Until next time. Remember this Jesus is the Healer. God bless you.

Episode 868: In Christ I Can, Part 108
Date: October 29, 2025
Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
In this installment of her long-running “In Christ I Can” series, Nancy Dufresne delves deeply into the topic of receiving from God—especially regarding healing, prosperity, and other spiritual benefits for “those in Christ.” The episode’s core message is that receiving what God has provided is meant to be simple, not difficult, and that the believer’s faith is the key to accessing these blessings. Nancy addresses common misconceptions, offers scriptural examples, and encourages listeners to recognize the ease of receiving and the necessity of maintaining their stand, even in the face of opposition.
