There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the healer. And we are enjoying our time around the Word. And we thank you for joining us. And how many of you know it's the Word of God that will take our life and set it on course whenever it can find our cooperation? You know, the Word tells us that the multitudes came to Jesus and it said they came to hear and be healed. What's that mean? They came to hear and to receive what that Word would produce in their life. And so you can hear the Word and be healed. You can hear the Word and be supplied. You can hear the Word and be joyful. You can hear the Word and be worry free. You can hear the Word, the Word and have your life set back on course. So it all begins with the hearing of the Word. So thank you for taking the time to join us to hear the Word, because that's when lives start changing, when we not just hear it, but then when we move on to be doers of the Word. But how many of you know we can't do what we don't hear. So it begins with the hearing. And so you'll remember the woman with the issue of blood. And it said that she heard about Jesus. It said when she heard of him that she came in the press and touched the hem of his garment and she was healed. Notice her healing began with her hearing. And so when she heard the right thing, she believed the right thing. She did the right thing, and she received the right thing. And so we're today we're hearing the right thing. We're going to hear the Word of God, we're going to believe the right thing, do the right thing, and we receive the right thing. And I would say this to you always say this about yourself. I always receive from God. Learn to Say that instead of I struggle to receive from God or it takes so long. How come it's taking so long for what God has for me to manifest? Don't talk about, don't talk about yourself or your faith in negative terms. Always refer to yourself in positive terms. Say, I always receive from God. My faith always, always works. And I will say this to you. The Word tells us that his words are life unto those that find them. Look at this. And health to all their flesh. That's Proverbs, chapter 4, somewhere between verses 20 and 22. It may be verse 22, but it says, his words are life unto those that find them and health to all their flesh. Now I want to say something here. Notice that it didn't say that he healing scripture. Words are life. All his words are life. So whenever we're feeding on any part of his words, they are containers of the life of God. They are containers of something that is going to add to us and replicate and bring his life into being in our, in our own daily lives. So it's not just selective words or scriptures that we want to hear. All his words carry life. Amen. And so know this. When you're sitting under the teaching of the Word of God, you're sitting under the flow of life. And if you will, take those words and put them into your own heart, plant them in your heart, embrace them, agree with them, then they will produce life in your everyday life. They'll produce the flow of heaven, the flow of God. And your life will not be deficient in any way because God's words are life giving. Amen. Well, we've been on this series teaching on In Christ I Can. And on a previous episode, we began looking at Galatians chapter 2 and verse 20. Paul was writing this. This is the King James translation I'm going to read out of Galatians 2, verse 20. Paul said, I am crucified with Christ. Well, what's he talking about? Because Paul was alive at the time, writing this. What's he mean he was crucified? He's talking about the old. The old man, the former man, the sin nature. Now see, this is what you have to know is that when Adam and Eve in the garden, they sinned, they ate of the fruit of the tree that God told them not to eat of. What were they doing? They. Well, God told them, he said, don't eat of the fruit of the tree, of this tree. And he said, if you do in that day, you'll surely die. Well, their bodies didn't die when they did that, what died? Their spirit man died. And when we say their spirit man, when we, when we say the spirit of man died, it didn't, it didn't cease to exist. The spirit man still exists, but now it's got a death nature in it. See, the spirit of man either carries the life of God or, or the life of the nature of sin, the sin nature. So whenever Adam and Eve sinned, they died that day. What's that mean? Fellowship with God was broken. They lost the presence of God. And what happened? That life, that, that spirit of life that was in them now, the one they obeyed had the right to bring his nature into them. And they now had the nature of sin. They had the nature of the devil. So when every human was born, after that they were born with a sin nature instead of the nature of God. I'm talking about in their spirit being. Now we know this. God is the creator of all human flesh. I mean, the devil can't create anything. There's nothing creative in him. But everyone that's born now is born, was born under the curse of that, that, that nature of sin, that, that was authored by the devil. So Paul, when he said, I am crucified with Christ, what's talking about that sin nature was crucified with Christ. Why? So that the nature and life of God could come back in us. And that's what happens at the new birth. Because the Word says that I will give them a new heart. God does not heal the spirit of man. At the new birth, he gives you a brand new spirit. He took out the old spirit that had the sin nature in it, and he gave you his own nature, the life of God, eternal life in your spirit being so now at the new birth, what is restored to us is what Adam and Eve lost. So if you're born again, you no longer have a sin nature, the nature of the devil in you, and you have the life of God, eternal life, the nature of God in you. Now you'll remember that when the religious leaders were opposing Jesus, one thing Jesus said to them, he said, you are of your Father, the devil. What was he talking about? He was telling them your nature is of the sin nature. And that's why you don't like what I say. That's why you resist God because you're holding to a sin nature. You Jesus was offering them a whole new nature, a whole new life in God, but they did not accept that. So Jesus was very clear, just because someone is born into this earth, we are all, we are not Born the children of God. We have to become a child of God through choosing to receive Jesus as our Savior. Now, notice this. God is the Creator of all men, but he's not the Father of all men. You have to choose him as Father. Aren't you glad that you got to. You got to love him and choose him to be your Father. You weren't forced. He doesn't force anyone to accept him as Father, but he invites Him. He. He invites you to choose him to be your Father. What's that mean? He leaves the choice up to you. And so when you chose to be born again, you chose a new nature. You chose the life of God. And now that old sin nature is gone out of you. That's why it says over in Romans. Sin shall no longer lord it over you. Sin has no dominion over you. Why? Because that sin nature is gone. And now what we're doing is we're retraining our flesh and our mind based on the new nature that's in us, the life of God that's in our spirit. And that's why people say, well, if I'm born again, my spirit has the life and nature of God. Why does my flesh want to do wrong or my mind think wrong? Because we have to now retrain our minds. We have to renew our minds. We have to take on God's way of thinking. Because the old man that was outside of Christ taught us a way of thinking. It taught us a way of behaving. But now that we have the life and nature of God, and now we're going to educate the mind of man, and we're going to take dominion over the flesh of man so that it comes in line with our new nature. So again, In Galatians, chapter 2, verse 20, Paul said, I am crucified with Christ. He's talking about the old sin. Nature was crucified. Then he said this. Nevertheless, I live. Ah, what lives the new nature, the nature of God. Yet not I, but Christ liveth in me. There again, he's talking about the life of God on the inside of him. So now we are changing what we're responding to. We're not responding anymore to wrong thinking because that thought no longer belongs to us. We're not accepting a troubled mind, because the troubled mind belonged to the old man, not the new man. I want you to know fear belonged to the old man, not the new man. Sickness and disease was part of the old man, not the new man. So you have to begin to see yourself. I'm a new creature in Christ, old things are passed away. All things have become new. That's what the Word is talking about. It's talking about the life of God is now in us. And because of that, we demand that every other feature of our being represent the life nature that's in us. We no longer cooperate with what the old man taught us. We no longer hate people, we no longer serve, speak words of hate. We no longer have, have. Have wrong motives. Everything is to line up with that nature of God and that life of God that's on the inside of us. And God filled us with Christ himself so that our. Our success would be certain, so that we could spend and draw on the life of God to have the life of God in you. Christ is in you. The greater one is on the inside of you. Now we just have to learn to spend him instead of going back to the old habits and ways of thinking that the old man taught us. How many of you know that you have now the life of God in you, the faith of God in you? But Galatians chapter 5 in verse 22 lists the nine fruits of the Spirit. Those are all the attributes of God that are in you. They are divine in their nature. They are divine in their origin. And so now that we have God's nature in us, with all his attributes in us, he will no longer authorize us to spend the old man. Now, let me say it to you this way. Before you were born again, there was a flow of love in you, but it was human love. And human love has limits. There was. Before you were born again, there was a joy in you, but it's human joy. Human joy has limits. But all the things that were part of our. The features of our life before we were in Christ, they all have limitations. But now that we're born again, the life of God, the nature of God is in us now. Not just his life and nature, but all his attributes, the nine fruits of the Spirit. And not only that, the faith of God, the strength of God, all that he is, he made ours. And so we're no longer permitted to go back to the human version. We have to stay with the divine version of all these attributes that are ours. Does that make sense to you? If we try to spend human love, human love is faulty. Human love is. It will quit. It will change to hate in a moment. And that is the flow of the old man. But you're not the old man anymore. You're the new man. So don't try to spend human love when divine love is resident in you. Don't go back to just human joy that is dependent on circumstances. Divine joy is independent of circumstances. That means we can be joyful no matter what circumstance is surrounding our life. And we're not rejoicing over bad circumstances. We're rejoicing because we have a joy in us that doesn't adjust based on. Based on natural circumstances. So there's so much to be said about this because we are in Christ. All those nine fruits of the Spirit are part of the in Christ life. So to draw on Christ in us, we're going to be drawing on those nine fruits of the Spirit. And we're not going back to the human versions of those of those flows. We're staying with the divine versions of these. We need to start thinking of when. When we see the word love in Scripture, we need to label it divine love, not human love, divine love. We need to recognize that it's not human joy, it's divine joy. And because the life of God is in you, the nature of God is in you. The divine attributes of God are in you. So Paul says, I'm crucified with Christ. What's that mean? The human version. Love, joy, peace. All those that are the human version, those are crucified to me now. Now I'm spending the divine versions of those. And so he said, I'm crucified with Christ. Look at this. Nevertheless, I live. Yet not I, but Christ live within me. How do we say Christ is living in me when we yield to the flows of the divine nature that's in us? Those nine fruits of the Spirit, those are how God's divine nature will manifest as love, joy, peace, temperance, goodness, meekness, kindness. All of these flows that belong to us. And he said. Paul went on and said, and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God. Look at this. I live this by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. So God put His life in us, he put his nature in us. Then he put his own attributes in us, the nine fruits of the Spirit. And he gave us his faith to draw on, to cause these things to come into manifestation and flow. Because you can't use human faith and receive a divine flow. It takes divine faith. And once you're born again. Romans chapter 12, verse 3 tells us that every one of us at the new birth received the faith of God. A measure of the faith of God. He said here. But to think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith. Now, notice this. He's not talking about every man outside of Christ. He's talking about every man in Christ. God took of his own faith and said, now you can live based on my life, my nature, the nine fruits of the Spirit in you, because you have my faith to help you draw on those and spend those flows that are on the inside of you. So what's this mean? We have to have faith in this, that Christ is in me. Because he's in Me, he won't flow automatically. We have to employ faith. And it's not human faith, it's divine faith that we're using and spending. So Paul said, the life which I now live in the flesh, or while I'm on this earth, I live by the faith of the Son of God. Does that make faith important? It makes faith central to our life of victory, our life of success. Because we can't live as one in Christ apart from from employing our faith. Amen. Well, what does faith look like? You say, if I'm living this life in Christ by faith, what do you mean by that? We say Christ is in me. Regardless of what I feel, regardless of what I see. Christ is in me. Because Christ is in me. Everything he is is in me. He is the vine. We are the branch. Nothing of the vine is withheld from the branch. Everything that the vine contains flows freely into the branch. The vine, if it were to talk, can never say to the branch, you can't have this aspect of me. You can only have the part I choose. No, there's no such thing. Because when a vine is attached. Excuse me, when a branch is attached to the vine, there is nothing of that vine that cannot be received into the branch. Therefore, Christ is in you. There is nothing of him that's withheld from you. And so you have to say. You have to say, by faith, I believe Christ is in me. Everything he is is in me. Therefore, I'm going to spend and draw on him in the face of every difficulty, in the face of every circumstance, because the flow of his life in you will not flow automatically. It flows at the command of faith or at the release of faith. Of faith. It's faith that's the open door allowing the Christ in you to manifest, allowing, putting the crisis in you to work for you. It's all by faith. Amen. So we're to say this. The life I live, it's Christ living in me. Now, as we've said on previous episodes, the mind cannot even comprehend this. I mean, this doesn't make sense. To the reasoning of mind. But it makes total sense to the spirit of man. We that sits right in our spirit, doesn't that when these truths land in us, go, we go. Oh, that. That sits right with me. That sits right with me. I, I grab that. I love that. Why? Because your spirit can accept and believe things that your mind cannot calculate. And so we are not to cheat ourselves by living as one outside of Christ, thinking as one outside of Christ. And what does the devil, the accuser, the brethren constantly do? He constantly points back to you outside of Christ. He will never point to you in Christ. He's going to point to what was performed apart from Christ. How many of you know anything you failed out at? Christ was not involved in that. Because when he gets involved, everything succeeds. When it's done his way, when he is fully obeyed, we're going to have success. If we don't succeed at something, we veered from obedience to his to what he told us to do. So if there's failure, even a wrong decision, I'm talking about even after you're born again, I'm not talking about just before you were born again, but even once you're born again, if there's something you failed in, if there's something you made a decision, a wrong decision in that was done outside of Christ, that was not a fruit of in Christ, that was an aspect of outside of Christ. So what do we do? Father, forgive me. What's that mean? I'm not going to draw on the natural side anymore. I'm not going to draw on the failing side. I'm going to draw on Christ in me. But when the accuser of the brethren comes, he's always going to try to point you back to those times when you operated outside of Christ, even though you were in Christ. Well, why is the devil trying to do that? He doesn't want your faith on in Christ. He wants you mindful of outside of Christ. So his strategy is always to draw you through, through the threats he suggests, through wrong thinking, through attack, tax on the mind. He wants to draw you away from your faith. He wants to draw you away from who you are in Christ. Because if you become completely skillful at living as one in Christ, the devil has no access to your life. It's only when we think as one outside of Christ, answer as one outside of Christ, respond as one outside of Christ, that the devil can get involved. But if we hold ourselves in our thought life, if Christ didn't give me that thought, I'm not taking it. If that Action does not represent me in Christ and Christ in me. I'm not taking it. If that word did not come from Christ. I'm not saying it. So when we hold ourselves within that flow of the in Christ life, what happens? The devil has no point of interest, so, or of entrance, rather. So I would say this. Our safety is be skillful with our in Christ life. Learn who we are, learn how to respond and draw on that nature of God that's on the inside of us, that's drawing on in Christ. Now we know this. The word Christ is anointing. So when we draw on Christ, we just draw on the anointing of God.
A
And.
B
And what happens when the anointing flows? The yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. Every time we act in line with the Word, we're acting in line with Christ. And what happens? The anointing shows up and will manifest. And it's the anointing that breaks off the opposition, that deals with the circumstances of our life in victory. It changes the outcome of everything. When we draw on Christ, we just put the anointing to work for us. When we operated out of divine love, instead of going the low road and responding on human love, when we stay in divine love, we just put the anointing to work for us. When we drew on divine joy, we just put the anointing to work for us. When we drew on divine peace, we just put the anointing to work for us. When we drew on the temperance of God, the fruit of temperance, we just put the anointing to work for us. Because the anointing of God is the flow of the One in Christ. And we let the anointing do the work for us. Amen. I tell you what, these things are so loaded. There's so much for us in this. So I would say this to you. Meditate on who you are in Christ. Get these scriptures that show you who you are in Christ. I have some. I think I have them here or they're down here. They're somewhere here. You can go to our website, jesusthehealer.org and you can download. There's three different documents that are in Christ. One is a short sampling of just a few scriptures, main scriptures on who you are in Christ. One is an in him complete listing. It's all the scriptures that list in Christ. But we have also now added a third document and that's all the in him scriptures. But they're drawing from 229 different translations. So if you want the big robust Version, that's the one that especially you want to download and get hold of it. You can download those. Those are completely free of charge. And then you can, if you want, just hold them on your device or print them out. But we supplied those for you because we want you to feed on those, meditate on those, put those in your mouth. Because know this, when I read this scripture in Galatians 2:20 that Paul said, he said, I am crucified with Christ. What do we know about Paul? He's confessing that I am crucified with Christ. If the great apostle Paul needed to confess it, we need to confess it. We need to know it. We need to put it in our mouth. And we should say just what he said. We don't have to come up with different words, just say what he said. I am crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, I live yet not I, but Christ liveth in me. And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me. Put that in your mouth. When you're faced with something that threatens you say, I'm not going to respond out of my flesh because Christ lives in me and I'm going to put him to work for me. Amen. It will change everything about your life. So we want you to get hold of those scriptures and let them rewrite the story of everyday life for you. And you don't want to miss next time. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the Healer. God bless you.

Date: November 12, 2025
Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
In this 118th installment of the "In Christ I Can" series, Nancy Dufresne continues to teach on what it means to live a victorious Christian life based on our identity "in Christ." This episode is a deep exploration of how the new birth in Christ grants believers a new nature, divine power, and access to the attributes and faith of God Himself. Nancy unpacks Galatians 2:20 as a foundational scripture, emphasizing the practical outworking of the believer’s identification with Christ and how this affects everyday living, mindset, and victory over sin and life’s challenges.
