Thank you to Kenneth Copeland Ministries for sowing the airtime for this broadcast.
There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now. I receive it right now from the top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the healer. And we are, we are so loving the time that we're getting to share and teach with you on this series that we've been on and that is in Christ. I can. And we are well over 100 episodes. And I would say this, we could spend the rest of our life teaching on this and never exhaust this subject because we are in Christ and He is in us. And therefore all he is is in us, available to us. And it's our privilege to discover that and to find out what is contained in that. Amen. I was looking on the previous episode we were in Philippians chapter three, and let's continue that direction because I so appreciate something that Paul writes and how many of you know, Paul said that I may be known as in him. Paul knew this, that he looks so much better in Christ than outside of Christ. I want you to know we all look so much better in Christ than outside of Christ. And in Christ gives us the best life. What's that mean? It means that we're yielding to the greater one within us. That in a day, when we get up in the morning, we need to, if I could say this, make ourselves in Christ minded by saying, today Christ is in me. And today I can do what I need to do because he's the one working through me. I can accomplish what he tells me to do because he's working in Me. And we can say this. I can give what I need to give. I can pay what I need to pay. I can receive what I need to receive. And I can be the blessing to others I need to be, because he is in me. Paul made this statement, actually, and I'll read it to you first out of Galatians, chapter two, in verse 20, he said, I am crucified with Christ. What's he talking about, the old man? See, we're new creatures in Christ what we were before Christ that's been crucified with Christ. So that man's old, he's crucified, dead and buried. Don't talk about that anymore. Don't talk about the past and glorify that in a negative light. You can. We can appreciate what God has done for us and testify to the goodness of God in our daily life now. But we don't want to magnify and make much of the old man. Let's make much of the new man. And if I could say this, we need to give ourselves the habit of even singing songs throughout the day that talk about who I am in Him. Because all of these things help to help us to live mindful to draw on the highest flow instead of on the natural low flow of the natural man. But Paul said this in Galatians 2:20. I am crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, I live. Yet not I, but Christ liveth in me. And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me. Listen, Jesus loved us and he gave Himself for us so that he could live in us and manifest through us. So I've said it before like this in previous episodes, but it really is. The truth is that the life that we now live, we are the glove and he's the hand in the glove that we just allow his movement to dictate the movement of our life. Well, how do we get to that place? We yield to him, we respond to him, we obey Him. Not only that, we have to use our faith. You know what? He's in me today. And even if I don't feel like it, it doesn't matter what I feel like. He's not in me because I feel like it. He's in me because I know he told me he was in me. We go by what God says, by his word. Amen. And so Paul said this. He said, christ liveth in me. And then another location, Paul said, for me to live is Christ. Look at this. For me to live is that Christ is getting to live. He's manifesting through me. He's getting to work through me, and he is producing through my life. So basically, we find ourselves needing to draw on what Acts, chapter 17 and verse 28 says. In him we live, in him we move, and in him we have our being. Notice he's not left out of any of that. He's the center of all of it. So it is up to us by faith to say, christ is in me today, so I'm going to acknowledge Him. Listen, how does he flow if he's not acknowledged? We can only. He will only take movement or make movement in our life to the measure that we acknowledge that he's in us. So if every day we say, christ is in me today, and because of that, I'm going to yield to Him. He's leading me, he's guiding me. My movements are results of how he's leading me. And not only that, when we move based on how he's directing us, then he will feel those movements and he will produce something that never could have been produced in those movements unless we had. We would have drawn on him and. And responded to him. Listen, why spend you when you can spend Him? You know, growing up, you know, I didn't ever have much money. You know, the way I. My parents weren't the type that they didn't give, what do they call it, allowance or something. My mother said, why am I going to pay you to make your bed? You slept in the bed. Why am I going to pay you to clean the dishes that you got dirty?
So.
So we weren't given allowance. But what we would do is that they said to us, if you do what you're told to do in this household, that if you want to go out, you want to do something with your friends and you want money, you come and you ask and we'll give it to you then. Well, I want you to know I went to them and I would say, I want to go out with my friends or whatever, can I have some money? And they always gave it to me because I recognize that if I complied with them, I benefited from that. Well, I want you to know by you receiving Jesus, you've complied with heaven. And you can have all that you need to spend of Jesus. And I want you to know you never reach the bottom. You never run low on how much he is in you. And we need to recognize he's in me every day, he's in me every night. And when I feel like I want to respond differently, I'm going to go with a higher flow. Now notice this. Paul said, I am crucified with Christ. Christ liveth in me. He. He confessed it. He spoke of it. This is what we need to do. These kinds of truths need to fill our mouth. We need to talk about who we are in Christ. We need to refer to who we are in Christ. We need to let others know we're drawn on him in the family. If you come up against a difficult spot that the husbands who are head of that family, they can go to the family and say, you know what, we're facing this situation. But in Christ this can be supplied. In Christ this need can get met. So don't ever make the family, if I could say this, feel insecure by talking about you. Make the family feel safe, sound and solid. Talking about this family has Christ to draw on and will never do without and we'll always have all the help we need. And I would say this to you, what you need in a family, you need a home, you need a profession, you need vehicles, you need all the resources to make your life. If I could say this, to meet the needs of your life, just know this. In Christ he has the home for you. In Christ he has the business for you. In Christ he has all the provision that you're going to need to meet the needs of that family. Talk about that. Teach your children to talk about in Christ. Teach your children, you know, if you want that you can have that in Christ believing for it. Because as you release your faith, the one, the provider that's in you will move and provide for the needs that you want to have met in your own life. So never leave the family out. Always bring not just you, but your family into awareness of this house is nurtured by Christ. This house is provided for because Christ is in us and we put a demand on Him. Now, as I said, you have to acknowledge him. Because if you don't acknowledge him, then he's not invited. No, Jesus will not force himself into any situation. He will not force Himself into any need you may have in your life. But he will certainly come invited into every situation. So it's up to us to acknowledge. How do we acknowledge Him? Talk about Him? We turn our attention toward him and employ Him. Amen. Well, I want us to look also at Philippians chapter three. Let's look at Philippians chapter three. And let's go to verse 10. And this is the Amplified Classic translation. And Paul makes this statement. He said, for my determined purpose is that I may know him, that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of his person more strongly and more clearly. And that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing of from his resurrection which it exerts over believers. Now look at that. I want you to see something here is that you never reach the end of how much you can know him. Paul, at this time, he was a leading voice in the earth. He was a leading voice in the body of Christ. God had given him much influence in the body of Christ. But not only that, there was much fruit out of his ministry. There were healings, there were miracles, there was the supernatural accompanying him throughout his life. But notice this. He made this statement, I still want to know him. So he was saying this, that he's talking about fellowship with God, fellowship with the one who indwelt him. Thank God for the things that God gives, but they never replace the giver. Thank God for the healings, but they never replace knowing the healer. Thank God for the supply, the. The money that comes, the resources, the provisions that come to our life from God. But that never is a substitute for knowing the provider. Thank God for the victories he gives. But I want you to know that's no substitute for knowing the victor. And this is exactly what Paul was stating. Here he is after many years of fruitful ministry, and his longing desire is that I may know him more and more. So there's always more that we can know him. The further and the more light we have about who he is in us. Then we'll see what he will work through us. And I want you to see something that Paul says. He says, in fact, if we could. I'm going to go to the King James translation. If you would put on that tenth verse, Philippians, chapter three, verse ten. If you'll put up the King James translation. Notice how Paul makes this statement that I may know him and the power of his resurrection. Well, what was the power of his resurrection? It's resurrection. Life. Resurrection power raised Jesus from the dead. It raised him past all opposition. Resurrection power seated him at the right hand of the Father. Now Paul is saying this. The same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead. That's what belongs to us. And he says that I may know him and the power. What he doesn't say is that I may know the power. He's not asking to know the power apart from knowing him. When you know who's in you, you don't struggle to partake of power because the power is the outflow of him who's in you. When you know him, when you know the Christ in you, it is no struggle to be a recipient of power. You're not trying to talk God into sending power because Jesus is the power of God and the power is in you. And the Holy Ghost is the power of God, and the Holy Ghost is is in you. And the word of God is a word of power. And the word is in you. And when people just want to have. If I could say this, they're reaching for manifestations of power. Don't reach past him to try to reach manifestations of power. Reach him. And when you. When you know him, you are also partaking of power that flows out of him. Notice this. God never offers us power without offering us. The author of the power to know him is the true treasure. If you'll remember, there's a passage. I don't have it in front of me, but Jesus in his earthly ministry made this statement. He said, there are those who will say to me, lord, Lord, did not we cast out devils in your name? Did not we prophesy in your name? And he said, and I will say to them, I never knew you. Depart from me, you workers of iniquity. Now look at that. What's he saying they're bringing before him. Look at all the works of power that we did for you. And he's saying, but I never knew you. How can there be works of power without knowing Him? Well, there are principles that you can step into and activate. The Word is full of principles. There's the law of faith, and that's. That's established on principles. When you take certain steps, certain things are going to automatically happen because it's a law. Well, there are. Even unsaved people can work Bible principles and they'll get the results of the Word. But they didn't do that from a place of knowing him. They did that from a place of implementing principles. Well, I want you to know that in this passage that Jesus was talking about, these people got results based on the operated principles. But they didn't want to know him. They just wanted to partake of power. Now, when we look in the Book of Acts, there's a passage when Philip went to minister at a certain city and there was a man saved. And I think his name was Simon the Sorcerer. And I don't have the passage in front of me, but Simon the Sorcerer was a man involved in witchcraft. When Philip went and had a revival in that city, Simon the Sorcerer got saved. After he was saved, then. Then Peter and other disciples came and they began to teach the people that were part of that revival. And Simon sat and Peter and them laid hands on the people. And the people were filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues. And Simon the Sorcerer came up to Peter and said, give me. He said, if I can pay you, I'll give you money to give me that power. And what did Peter do? He said, you, heart's not right with God. What is it? He just wanted the power, but he wanted it apart from knowing the One who is the power.
And.
And so Peter corrected him and said, you, heart's not right. It's not right to go after power when you don't want the One who is the author of the power. And this is what Paul was saying, that I may know Him. And because I know Him, I will come to know the power that flows out of Him. So what does this mean for us? Thank God. God blesses us so much. He gives us so much. He provides for us. He meets our needs. But we rob from ourself whenever we're content to just have his possessions, he gives. But we're not seeking to know the One who gave us so many blessings. And Paul, towards the end of his ministry, said that I may know him. And because I know Him, I will not be a stranger to the power of God. Because you can't know God without knowing how he manifests and knowing how he moves. And it always shows out as the power of God. So know this if you will get to know the healer. Healing is no struggle for you. If you'll get to know the provider, the provision is no struggle for you. If you'll get to know the Prince of peace. Peace will not elude you. It all belongs to you. And this is why Paul said that I may be found in him, that I may be known as in Him. Because when I know Him, I know how to move with the One I'm in fellowship with. And power is to be an outflow of our fellowship with God. Power is not to be coveted separately from the God who is the source of all power. Christ is in you, so power is in you. Utilize the power, but don't bypass knowing the Christ that's in you. Amen. Because he is our great reward. He's the one that we want to recognize that he's the only one that can satisfy the emptiness inside every man. And until that man finds himself in Christ, he is always looking to find Himself somewhere else. That's why in the world people will have struggles as they get older, especially in life. They'll say, I want to find myself. You can't find yourself except anywhere but in him. Because every other place you could place yourself will fail you. If you're going to try to find yourself, find yourself as a certain, you know, someone who's skillful in a certain profession. Well, if your identity is, I'm a doctor, I'm a lawyer, I'm a carpenter, I'm a builder, whatever, that's going to falter some point and your identity is going to be at risk if you just are trying to find something natural to find your true identity in. Because really who you are in Christ is, is your true identity. The more you know him, the more you see the real you. Because he's in you and you see who he has made you to be. So quit looking for something in the natural to satisfy a poor self image. Christians should not have a poor self image. And if they do, this is what you're invited to do, is find yourself in Him. You say, well, how, what do you mean find myself in Him? Find out who he made you to be. Find out who he raised you to be. Find out who he wants to be through you and in you. You know, we have, and I've talked about it in these previous episodes, but we have on our website we have some materials, resources for you to get hold of. They're free of charge. So go to the website@jesustheheater.org and you can download these. Because in these episodes I cannot teach everything that the Word shows us of who we are in Christ. We just hit the highlights and we're trying to stimulate you in your own personal studies. But there's three different resources that we have. We have a smaller, a smaller compilation of in him scriptures. These are some of the keynote scriptures concerning in him and what I mean by In Him. These are scriptures that use the term in him, in whom? Through Him, Through Christ. In Christ. Because they show who he is in you, who you are in him and what he will do through you and for you. And so feed on these, meditate on these. And then we also have this listing which is a complete listing of all the in him scriptures. There's, I don't know, maybe 130, 140 somewhere around in there. You can download these, you can print them off. But then we have recently added another document that's in keeping with this. And it looks like this In Him. And this is from a pastor who took all the in him scriptures and him and his wife went through over 200. They went through 229 different Bible translations and they pulled out the best translations and they compiled those and they, they made them available to us so that we could make them available to you. Get hold of these. Find yourself in the Word. Quit trying to find yourself out here in something else that's temporal because who you are is who you are in Christ and who Christ is in you. And when you know who he is in you and how he'll manifest you through you and for you, you're not looking for some other low flow to fill your life. And so when you find yourself in Him, I want you to know you found the true you. The better you know him, the clearer you see you. Now let me say that again, the more you know him, the clearer you're going to see the real you. It's no wonder that especially we've seen this so much in recent generations is that people are confused about their true identity. What is that? That is the devil attacking a man's identity. Man's identity is not as a spouse. The true identity is not as a spouse or a parent. The true identity is who we are in Christ. And the devil wants to dismantle who we how we see ourselves. And I want you to know the devil will offer you fear, he will offer you all kinds of difficulties so that you see yourself struggling, you see yourself failing. But when we see ourselves as God made us to be in Christ, then we see absolutely the best life that God offered for us. So go to these scriptures, feed on them, repeat them to yourself, meditate on them. Do you know that's what Paul did. He talked about who he was in Christ. He referred to it. If Paul needed to do it, we need to do it. We have to make ourselves in Christ minded that Christ is in us, we are in Him. That means we have to think about it, speak about it, and let, let our lives demonstrate and draw on the greater one that's on the inside of us. Amen. Well, before we go today, I'd like to pray for you. It is such a joy that we get to come and minister the word of God to you. But I don't know what you're facing, but I know this. There is the greater one on the inside of you if you belong to Christ. And we want you to see these truths and we want you to live in the best life because God authored for you the best and the highest life. And we want to live as rich as we are. Amen. And right now, if you say, pastor Nancy, I'm facing a need, I'm facing a difficulty. It may be physical, it may be mental, it may be financial, it may be with a relationship in your home. It may be something to do with loved ones or relatives. Well, I want you to know the answer may seem. You may say, I don't know what the answer is but Christ is in you and he knows the answer. He has all the help you ever need. So right now, Father, I pray for those who are watching that say, I need the help of heaven in a particular situation. I say Satan, you take your hands off their life. And I thank you Father for giving them revelation of who they are in Christ, who Christ is in them, and what he has made them to be. And I say, Father, we thank you for every single need answered and supplied in the life of these dear people. And we take our help from heaven and by faith we receive the help we need. And everybody said Amen. And I want to let you know that we're able to come to you on the Victory Channel for one reason and that's because of the generosity of Kenneth and Gloria Copeland.
