There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

I receive it right now.

From the top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the healer. Come on in. We are so glad that to spend this time with you. And we say this, that the word that finds its. Its home in our heart changes our life forever. So we're so thankful we get to take this time to share the word with you. And we invite you get something to take notes on because we don't want you to miss anything that God may say to you. We're in the midst of our series called In Christ I Can, and we're talking now about something that is really. I want us to be so aware of that our victory is so far reaching and our victory is so enduring that we are authorized to live as though we have no enemy because we have been placed far above raised far above all principality, power, might and dominion. What are those? Those are. Those are levels of different demon powers. And we have authority over every single one of them. And we are authorized to live untroubled by any of them. So what the problem is with many is that they don't realize how complete their victory is. And they struggle with certain things that try to oppose them when we are not to struggle with them. We're to rule and reign over that which would challenge our victory that has been won for us by Christ. Jesus defeated the devil in our behalf, then gave us the victory and said, now all you have to do is enjoy your victory by enforcing it. We don't have to fight the devil. And many say, well, I'm fighting the devil. Well, you're in the wrong fight. Or people say, well, I'm fighting sin. Well, you're in the wrong fight. Well, I'm fighting fear. Well, you're in the wrong fight. Because the only fight the believer is called to is the good fight of faith. What is the Good fight of faith. It's holding to what God said is already ours and refusing to be swayed by any strategy, by any deception, by any threats or suggestions of the enemy, not be swayed by circumstances, not be swayed by sin symptoms, not be swayed by pain. Because really symptoms and pain are nothing but the temptation to accept sickness. I refuse to accept sickness and disease because in Christ there is no sickness and no disease. And I refuse to call something mine. I don't care that my body may feel it. I don't care that my body may show symptoms of something. I refuse to call it mine because in Christ I am free from all pain, all symptoms, all disease. And I will not agree with what the enemy threatens me with. So we have to realize this because we have been raised and seated with Christ. And Ephesians 1 says we have been seated far above all principality, power, might and dominion. And you say, well, that's talking about Jesus. Yes, but then it tells us in Ephesians 2 that we were raised with him, seated with him. So the same position of victory that is his is ours. And we refuse to entertain anything but victory in our thought life. We refuse to entertain threats and suggestions of the enemy. And so what I want you to be aware of and what I've been teaching in the, in the most recent episodes is this. Don't you ever be afraid of devils. They're to be afraid of us. And we are not holding out against the devil and what he's trying to do against our lives, but he has to hold out against us, us, because we're in charge. Jesus has put us in the position of master over the devil and we have to renew our minds to that because so many people, they just hope the devil leaves them alone. They just hope fear leaves them alone. They just hope that symptoms and sickness can't find them. But that's to live a fear minded life. We are to be a masterminded life that Jesus has made us master. And that's the way we approach any encounter with the enemy, that he is already a defeated foe, not because of what we've done, but because of what Jesus did. And he handed us the victory. And we are skillful at reminding the devil. You are, you are completely and utterly defeated. I want us to look at something. If you would go with me to First Corinthians chapter two and we're going to look at verse six and I'm going to start out with the King James translation, First Corinthians chapter 2 and verse 6 it reads, Howbeit we Speak wisdom among them that are perfect. Well, when he uses the word perfect, he doesn't mean without flaw. He's talking about those who are spiritually mature. We speak wisdom among those who have spiritual growth, spiritual maturity, spiritual development, yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world that come to naught. So he's talking about in this passage. I'll just. Because we didn't read the whole passage, but I want to explain it, that he's basically saying that when we're among those who are spiritually mature, we talk about who we are in Christ, what belongs to us because we're in Christ. We're not talking about the low elements and rudiment things of this world. And I love what the Moffatt translation, when it's talking about, well, let me say this. The King James says, nor the princes of this world that come to naught. Well, the Moffat translation says, the dethroned powers who rule this world. Look at this. The dethroned powers that rule this world, who dethroned them? Jesus dethroned them. The thing is, many don't know that they've already been dethroned. And so they're allowing a dethroned being to dominate their life. Not us as Christians, we're not letting someone that's stripped of their power, stripped of their seat to rule and reign over us. But we know we're finding out what the word of God says, that these powers that try to come against us. Which powers is he talking about? Well, over in Ephesians 1, verse 20, it's spelled out that Jesus was raised far above all principalities, powers, might and dominion. Those are different levels of enemy powers, and they have been dethroned. Just know this. Any encounter with the enemy, say you're dethroned. You cannot find a seat in this in existence. And you're not getting a seat in my life. I will not offer you a landing place to set up residency with me. We have to think of the enemy as he is. He is a dethroned power. But look at the. Look at the contradictory statements here. Dethroned powers who rule this world. Why is it that a dethroned power is permitted to rule this world? Because people don't know he's been dethroned and he's ruling and reigning over them, and he has been dethroned. That's why it's our job to go out and tell people he's a dethroned power. You don't have to be subject to him. All you have to do is Come under the lordship of Jesus and. And you'll rule and reign over these things that try to dominate you. These dethroned powers. They're still ruling this world because they don't know what Jesus accomplished. They don't know what Jesus did. Now, the young's translation of this passage said, the rulers of this age, of those becoming useless. Now listen to that. Let me go back and read the King James and then let's put in the young's translation. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are mature, yet not the wisdom of the world, nor the wisdom of the princes of this world that come to not, or the rulers of this age, of those becoming useless. What does this mean? That these rulers of this age. He's talking about demon powers. What's it mean? They're becoming useless. When we know the truth, what they launch against us is useless. Their strategies, their devices are no longer work on us. It's useless for them to try to work that on someone who knows who are they going to try to work their deception on those who don't know that they've been dethroned. But we know, and we're finding out more and more. These are dethroned powers and their efforts against us are useless. And we call it useless. I can't tell you the number of times I've been at home. And I remember one night I was just sitting at home and doing some work and I felt some symptoms try to come up. And I said, too late, devil. I'm already healed. That's exactly how I answered it. And then I took my attention off of it. I didn't let myself think about it. And in a few moments there were no more symptoms. What is that? It's useless to try to work on. Work that on someone who knows. And so you have to treat his opposition as useless. It's not useful to him in your life. It's useless that he tries to work it against you. The amplified translation of First Corinthians, chapter 2, verse 6, says, the leaders and rulers of this age who are being brought to nothing and are doomed to pass away. Now let me read it with the King James and then again with The Amplified inserted First Corinthians, chapter 2, verse 6. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect or mature, yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, the leaders and rulers of this age who are being brought to nothing and are doomed to pass away. Now let's look at these phrases. Demons are being brought to nothing. And they're being rendered useless. That's done through the church, walking in its authority. That's how these demon powers are being brought to nothing. As the, as the enemy tries to oppose us, we say, that won't work in my life. I know that I have authority over you. You can't do that in my life because I have been made master over you. Jesus defeated you. I put me far above you. I am far above that opposition. I'm far above those symptoms. I'm far above that lack. And that is useless for you to try to work. And I bring that to nothing in my life. Now, see, this is the reason many Christians are troubled. Because they give. They give a place to that. When something shows up, they think, oh, that's, that's happening to me because I see it working. I don't care what the devil tries to work. If it doesn't come from God, it's not mine. And I refuse, refuse to accept it. That's called being masterful with your victory. It's being masterful with your victory is not the devil leaving you alone. It's you being unswayed by any strategy he launches against you. You're going to feel things he brings against you. You're going to see things he brings against you. But you're going to be unswayed as one who has been put in the Master's position. What is that master's position? Raised far above it, far above all principality, power, might and dominion. So you have to realize demon powers are being brought to nothing in your life when you use your authority. And their demon powers can be brought to nothing in our cities when we exercise our authority. Now, if you say, well, we're going to take over this city, well, you have to realize this. If someone yields to the devil, that's up to them. But you can stop from yielding to the devil. And the way we're going to enlarge the kingdom of God is bring more people into the family of God. That's how the kingdom of God grows. Bring more people into it. Amen. When you get the revelation that the devil cannot work against you, something when you resist him, then what that does, instead of becoming fearful, you'll rejoice. Instead of becoming afraid, you'll laugh in the face of the enemy because you know this is a failing strategy, Devil, because I know that Jesus already brought you to nothing. And you're brought to nothing in my life through me resisting you. So know this. The pastor cannot do this for you. I cannot do this for you, you have to do it for yourself. You have to exercise the authority that has been given you. You are to become skillful with the master position that Jesus put you in. You are the custodian of your life. You're the custodian of your body, and what you forbid, heaven will back you up. What you permit, heaven has to permit. And so know this, that many times people are waiting for God to do something to help them out of a situation, and heaven has authorized you to be master over that situation. And you decide and you exercise your authority and say, that will not work in my life. You know, when you are a parent and you have children that you're raising in your household, it's up to you to exercise your parental authority. It's not appropriate for you to go to your neighbor and say, neighbor, would you come and would you handle my children for me? No, we don't do that because they don't have the authority. Well, even so, I don't go to the pastor and say, would you handle this opposition for me? Or go to another Christian. Would you handle this opposition? No. We're to learn to be master in our authority, and we are to forbid it and resist it, and we're not leaning on somebody else to do it for us. Now, can you? Well, yes, especially for baby Christians, that you can have a pastor or fellow believer to pray with them, and God will allow them to add their faith to the faith of that young believer. But I want you to know we are never to lean on people to be a substitute for the exercising of our own authority. We must be skillful ourselves. Listen, you don't want to be living under the umbrella of someone else's faith. You want to have your own faith. You want to have your own fellowship with God. You want to have your own walk with God. And I know this. I am so grateful that I was not just leaning on my husband the whole time we were married and he was someone. He was. He was 20 years older than me, but he was also far more advanced spiritually than me. And even though he was more advanced, I never decided that his walk with God was a substitute for my walk with God. I never just reclined under how he knew God and say, well, that's good enough for me. No, I wanted to know God for myself. But not only this. I wanted to know my victory for myself. I didn't want to have to rely on my husband to lay hold of something for me. Were there times he prayed for me? Yes. But the majority of the time he would not. He would not just let me lean on him. And I wasn't trying to because I knew that's not the safe place to be a leaner. We have to become skillful. And I'm so glad that I didn't just spend my whole married life leaning on my husband's faith, because the day he left to go to heaven, what if I had been leaner that day? I would have been in a lot of struggle and a lot of difficulty, but I was learning to walk with God and becoming skillful with my victory and my authority myself. And so that's the place of safety. Know God for yourself. Know your authority for yourself. Don't leave it up to your spouse. Don't leave it up to your pastor. It is not your pastor's responsibility to exercise authority in your behalf. Now, don't misunderstand me. They have an anointing in that pastoral office that will assist you, but it's not to ever replace your own faith. It's no substitute for you exercising faith. And you say, well, Pastor Nancy, the word talks about getting someone to agree with you in prayer. Yes, but agreement in prayer is not dismissing one from faith and the other person taking on the faith role. Because agreement is not agreement. When one's believing and one's not believing, you always have to believe. No matter if you're praying the prayer of agreement and someone's praying for you, the person needing the victory, needing to exercise their victory, is still going to have to release their faith. So learn to exercise your faith for yourself. That's why we're teaching you about some of these things, because we want you to understand what for yourself, that demons have been defeated and Jesus made you their master, that you have full authority to resist them. And I don't care if you just got saved last night. The authority that belongs to you in Christ is equal to the authority of anyone who's been walking with God their entire life. Your authority is the same. You know, if you have a police officer that has been with the force for 30 or 40 years, and then you have a new one that was just enlisted and he is sworn in and they hand him that same badge, do you know their authority is the exact same? No matter how long someone's been a police officer, now their skill level won't be the same, but their authority is the same. So even though our skill level may not be the same, our authority is the same. And let's all develop our skill levels so that we are still skillful with the authority that's been handed to us because the authority that belongs to me is not greater than the authority that belongs to you. And the authority that belongs to you is not less than anyone else's authority. So here again it says in. It says in First Corinthians, chapter 2, 6, the Amplified says that the ruler, the leaders and rulers of this age are being brought to nothing, and they are doomed to pass away. When you get this revelation, you'll quit being troubled by opposition. You'll exercise your authority and say, you're already doomed. Devil symptoms. You're already doomed. Lack. You're already doomed in my life. But some Christians don't know this. So they open the door to the devil by thinking wrong. They think just because something has shown up against them that that thing has found a place in them. And that's not true. Listen, you cannot stop people from coming to your front door and knocking on your door, but you can certainly keep them from coming in your house. You can. That's exactly what opposition is. It's just showing up on your front porch. But just because it's on your porch doesn't mean it has the right to come in your house. And the house is your own life, your own spirit, your own thoughts, your own words. And so you keep the devil outside. No matter how many times he shows up on your porch, he is not a resident of your household, and you have no business, and I have no business opening the door to him. And so Jesus defeated them and brought them to nothing. And with our words, we say, you've been brought to nothing, not by me, but by the one who defeated you. Amen. The New English Bible. I want to read to you what it says of that last phrase. In First Corinthians 2. 6. It says again that the howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect or spiritually mature. Yet not the wisdom of the world, nor of the princes of this world. And the New English Bible says this. Those declining to their end. Now look at that. The Bible says demons are declining to their end. If you listen to some people talk, the devil's getting stronger, the devil's getting greater. The devil's doing more and more. But the Word says he's declining all the way to his end. He's not strengthening as he goes out. He's going to go out on the decline. He is not going to go out on the incline, increasing and getting stronger against the church. Yes, he'll keep working. Yes, he'll keep sending, you know, all kinds of opposition of us, but devils are Declining to the end. They are not getting stronger. But the thing is, is that they're getting stronger only against those who believe they're getting stronger. If they say that they're getting stronger, oh my goodness, you know my finances, I've got all kinds of problems and it's getting worse. Well then that's exactly what's going to happen. But if you'll say this, this problem is declining. This, this thing has been brought to nothing. And it's not growing in strength against me. It is declining in its attack, even against me. And it has no place in me. Then another translation said, these are doomed to pass away. But I want you to see this, this statement, doomed to pass away. He's considered that he, his end is already determined. I want you to know the Devil's end has already been determined by God. Jesus defeat of him determined his end. And you need to remind the devil of his end that he is doomed to pass away. Too many times the Devil comes to us and he tries to frighten people, he tries to threaten people. And people start buying into his strategies. They start, if I could say this, believing the things that the devil threatens them with. Why, instead of listening to what the Devil says against you, why don't you remind him of his future? Say you are declining to your end and you are already doomed to pass away. The sentence has already been spoken. There is no exit plan for you. You are doomed to pass away. Therefore, any symptoms in my body, they're declining and they're doomed to pass away. Lack is declining and it's doomed to pass away. It is not getting stronger in my life because Christ is in me and there is no, there is no opposition that can overcome the victory that belongs to me. Amen. Listen, we have to think, right? Why does the Devil get, if I could say this, get greater influence over people due to wrong thinking. Just know this. Wrong thinking is an open door to the devil. Wrong thinking is a closed door to God. But right thinking is an open door to God and it's a closed door to the Devil. That's why the enemy is constantly trying to work against the thought life of man. He's trying to deceive them. He's trying to sway them into wrong thinking by bombarding their thought life. And so know this. The Devil wants to do your thinking for you. And he will if you let him. You say, well, I don't let the Devil do my thinking. Well, what do you allow to circle over in your mind? What do you take in? And what do you just Process and meditate on. Because if it's anything less than what God says, then the devil is trying to insert something of his own thing, thinking into your life. And it's going to end up robbing from us. So we have to pay attention to our thought life. Why is that? Because we are in command of our thought life. Just because the devil suggests something does not mean we have to accept it and believe it. And know this. I don't care how many times the devil repeats a threat. Repetition does not make it true. And how many times people have resist, have. Have failed to resist simply because the flow of repetition from the enemy was the strategy worked against them. I don't care how many times the devil threatens you with something if it's not the word of God, don't you believe it? Don't you buy into it? And right now, before we, before we end today's broadcast, I would like to pray for you. I would like for those of you who you say, pastor Nancy, I've been troubled in my mind. I recognize that I've opened the door to the devil. Well, I want you to know if you open it, you can close the door. And so we want to join our faith with you today. And I want you, if you say, pastor Nancy, I've been harassed in my mind, I've been harassed by bombarding attacks. Father, I thank you that the authority that belongs to Jesus, that has been given to his name, that name has been given to us. And I say, Satan, in the name of Jesus, you take your hand off God's property. You take your hand off their minds. You take your hand off their bodies, off their families, off their homes and off their minds in Jesus name. Because we are your master and we give you no place in us. And we exercise our authority over you. And we say no weapon formed against us will prosper. And we are free from the power of the enemy. We are far above all principality, all power, all might and all dominion because we have been raised and seated with Christ. And we take our victory, Father, and we thank you for it. In Jesus name, amen. Well, you're authorized to walk around today and say, I am free. In every sense of the word, I am free. And so we don't want you to miss next time. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

I want you to know that every single person in this world needs a Savior. And the greatest thing of all is that we have one. But this Savior must be welcome. This Savior must be received. And it's so easy to receive Jesus as the Savior. The Word says that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. So right now do that with me. Say, Jesus, I receive you as my Savior. Come into my heart and be the Lord of my life, and I'll live for you all the days of my life. God bless you.

Episode 887 | In Christ I Can, Part 127
Date: November 25, 2025
Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
In this powerful installment of the "In Christ I Can" series, Nancy Dufresne explores the depth of the believer's victory and authority in Christ. She teaches that Christians are not to live in fear or under oppression from the enemy, but rather are authorized to live from a position of mastery and triumph. Drawing upon Scripture, Nancy discusses how to enforce the victory Jesus won, address spiritual opposition, and develop personal faith and authority, emphasizing the importance of right thinking and personal responsibility in living out this victory.
"Power is present. That power is there to do a work... Say, ‘I receive that power. I receive it right now.’" (00:19)
"The only fight the believer is called to is the good fight of faith. What's the good fight of faith? It's holding to what God said is already ours..." (03:18)
"The same position of victory that is His is ours. And we refuse to entertain anything but victory in our thought life." (05:36)
"It's useless to try to work that on someone who knows."
"The devil wants to do your thinking for you. And he will if you let him." (24:50)
"You are declining to your end and you are already doomed to pass away. The sentence has already been spoken. There is no exit plan for you.” (21:23)
“Too late, devil. I’m already healed.” (11:31)
"If you just got saved last night, the authority that belongs to you in Christ is equal to the authority of anyone who's been walking with God their entire life." (23:30)
“Opposition is just showing up on your front porch. But just because it’s on your porch doesn’t mean it has the right to come in your house.” (26:07)
"Jesus defeated them and brought them to nothing. And with our words, we say, 'You've been brought to nothing, not by me, but by the one who defeated you.'" (26:23)
"That’s called being masterful with your victory... not the devil leaving you alone, but you being unswayed by any strategy he launches against you." (15:46)
Nancy Dufresne powerfully communicates that the believer's victory over the enemy is already won and must be enforced with knowledge, right thinking, and personal spiritual authority. Listeners are encouraged to reject fear and defeat, embrace their mastery in Christ, and be vigilant in their thinking and confession, constantly reminding themselves—and the enemy—of the irreversible triumph of Jesus.
