There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the Healer. Thank you for taking the time to join us. And we are now on the 130th episode in this series which we're teaching in Christ. I can. And there is so much that belongs to us in Christ. And when we renew our minds to what belongs to us in Christ, it brings us into the highest order of faith. That faith is a thing that we'll no longer struggle with whenever we realize who's in us and the Greater One is in us and how to draw on him, to putting him to work for us. Because in Christ, you have everything that you don't have outside of Him. So we don't ever want to just keep living the way we used to live when we can draw on the Greater One who's on the inside of us. And then we experience all that God planned for us. Listen, the plan of God for your life is so great that it requires the greatness of God to fulfill, requires his ability. It requires him flowing through us. And when we realize that greater is he that's in us, we quit drawing on, if I could say this, the natural side that is not going to be able to accomplish what God authored for us. All God needs out of us is our faith and our obedience. And then we have to respond to the Greater One who's in us to put him to work for us. You say, well, Pastor Nancy, how do I draw on Him? Number one, acknowledge Him. Recognize throughout every day he's in you to put you over. Don't just try to face anything apart from Him. He. He's in you because he never wanted you to try to do something apart from him, but doing it together. Draw on him, yield to him, respond to him, and just obey everything he tells you to do. Because when you do, you're going to. You're going to realize that you're going to. You're going to become a partaker of what you already possess. Listen, you already possess everything that God put in Christ. But now we have to be skillful at partaking of what we possess. And that's to show up in our everyday life. One of the things that belongs to us in Christ is our absolute victory over every enemy of God. What belongs to us in Christ is absolute authority over everything that the devil would try to work against us. So we not only have to be skillful at knowing who's in us, but we also have to be skillful at exercising our authority because it's the authority of the One who's in us. It's not our own human authority, but it is the authority that comes with the name of Jesus. In Ephesians chapter one. This has been our starting point for the last few episodes. And when we look at Ephesians 1, verse 20, it says that God raised Jesus from the dead. He set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places. Look at this. Far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but in that which is to come. Notice this. There is no demon power that is outside the dominion of the authority of the name of Jesus. They are. Jesus was raised far above them. I want you to know no enemy is a close opponent. Jesus is far above them. And because we are seated with Christ, we are joint heirs with Christ. Everything that belongs to him belongs to us. He's the head, we're the body. The head and the body do not occupy separate seats. They occupy the same seat of authority. And we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. And where is that? It's at the right hand of the Father is what Ephesians 1:20 tells us. So know this, because Jesus is far above all the demon powers we are far above. We are to be the absolute master of any opposition that comes against our life because of the One who is in us and the One we are joint heirs with. And so you need to see yourself as one that Satan fears, and you never be afraid of Satan. We are not devil conscious, and we don't live devil conscious because they're not worthy of our attention. But we are aware that we are in complete, utter authority over them. And we are aware of our authority because we have to resist that which is not of the of the household of faith. And know this, what we don't resist has the Permission to stay, as one friend of mine said. They made this statement. They said, a silent Christian is a failing Christian. Meaning this. You have to take the words of your mouth and you have to resist. Resist symptoms, resist pain, resist fear, resist oppression, resist depression, resist lack, resist strife. Anything that would steal, kill and destroy it came from the enemy and we are to resist it. And if we don't resist it, it will stay. And we resist by using words, words that are coming out of our heart, words that our heart agrees with. And not only that, words that came out of the mouth of God when Jesus said, behold, I give you power or authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. That word tread means to step over. So whenever opposition rears its head at your life, you're to step over that and keep going. Don't stop in your advancement. Don't stop and see. Did my authority work when I resisted the Devil? You resist him with words, and then you step over him and keep advancing into the plan of God. And notice this, that when we are treading on serpents and scorpions, when we're stepping over them and we keep going, refusing to be stopped by them, it says, then nothing shall by any means hurt you. Now, can something hurt you? Yes, if you don't resist it. Yes, if you don't step over it, it can. It can stop your progress. It can hold you back from enjoying all that God's made yours. But there is no sense in us stopping when we can resist the devil and keep going. Amen. And so God always backs us up when we exercise our authority. And the devil always obeys that name when we use it in faith. Now know this. Demons fear that name. And demons fear those who know the power of that name. Because demons remember when Jesus stripped them, he, the demon powers, remember when they were utterly defeated and they were paraded through the unseen realms as defeated they remember that. And when you talk as one joined to the one who defeated them, and you recognize that the victory Jesus won, he didn't win it for himself, he won it for us. He didn't need the victory. He was not subject to them. But he came and defeated Satan in our behalf. He gave us that victory. So the victory he won for us, he turned around and he gave it to us that we are victorious. And the devil is afraid of those who know it. Amen. And I want you to know, demons fear the name of Jesus. That's spoken through one who knows who they are in Christ. If people are afraid of the devil, they don't yet know who they are in Christ. If people are afraid of the devil, they don't know who Jesus is in them. They don't know who Jesus made them to be. It's not just. It's not just getting the devil to leave you alone. It's finding out who you are in Christ. And when you know who you are in Christ, you come into the highest order of faith. You won't struggle to believe God. You won't struggle against fear anymore when you recognize that you are in Christ. And in Christ, there is no fear. There is simply mastery of victory and mastery over the enemy. Never fear anything that hell births. I want you to know. Never fear somebody putting a curse on you. Never fear the flow of witchcraft. None of that works on us because we're redeemed from anything that would try to curse us. And many times people will have encounters with the enemy. The devil may give them a dream. He may suggest something to them, and they'll become fearful of that. Or why do people fear something of the devil? Because a measure of them is believing what he said to them. A measure of them is believing what he threatened them with. So get rid of any credibility that you give to the devil by believing what he says. I don't believe a word he says, therefore I fear nothing he says. And that's the position that we are to have in Christ. And I'll let you know this. That's the thoughts of the renewed mind. We know the victory that has been made ours. And we know who we are in Christ. And we know who Christ is in us. When we're struggling with something, it's because we think we have to accomplish it. But one who's in Christ realizes he's going to do the work through me. Whenever I resist the devil in the name of Jesus, I'm not resisting in myself. I'm resisting based on who's in me. And the one who is in me cannot be overcome. I will not doubt his mastery in me. And through me. We have to renew our minds to who we are in Christ because the devil fears the one who knows who he is in Christ. We're no longer afraid of darkness. We're no longer afraid of anything that comes out of his realm because Jesus has made us master. And we're going to grow in our mastery. Listen, you don't grow in authority, but you do grow in skills of using your authority. And so every day exercise your authority. Every day resist something that didn't come from God every day. If symptoms come, lack comes any thoughts that try to trouble you, come resist them every single day. Be consistent in your resistance, because as you're consistent, you. You build in your. In your own spirit the skill and the mastery over the enemy. Because Jesus has already made you victor. I want to look at a few places and passages. We're going to go to the Old Testament. And in Second Kings, chapter six, we find this passage. And just to briefly tell you a little bit about the setting of this is that the prophet Elisha, when God would speak to a prophet of God, it was in behalf of the protection of his people. And there was the king of Syria that went to launch war against God's people. And so every time he would plan a battle strategy, Elisha would hear that he wasn't in the room with him. But Elisha would hear in the realm of the spirit, and he would hear the strategies that the king, the king of Syria was going to launch against God's people. So Elisha would say, don't go down to this location. The king of Syria has a trap there. And so they would send scouts just to look. They wouldn't go down there, but they would send someone to spy. And sure enough, there would be an enemy waiting for them. Or then the next time the king of Syria would plan something, God would open the ears of the prophet and he would hear the. The plans of that enemy king. And so he would warn God's people. And so after this Syrian king is launching strategy after strategy, and every single one of them gets revealed. And finally that king called out and said, who is it among my own camp that is against us? And one of their own, one of their own soldiers said, none of us are. He said, but there's a prophet in Israel, and he hears what you say in your bread, in your bedchamber. What was that? That God would open up his ears and he would hear what was said against God's people, and he would warn God's people. So the king of Syria did something. He sent an army to go catch Elisha. And I want to read starting in Second Kings, chapter 6 and verse 14, this is where we pick it up. It says, so the Syrian king sent their horses, chariots, and a great army. Notice this. For one man, for one man who heard, for one man who was in tune with God, I want you to know that enemy army feared this man. I want you to know demons fear you. When you. When you know what God is saying and you hold to what God's saying, and you walk in the light of God's word. So it says that they came by night and they surrounded the city. Verse 15 says, when the servant of the man of God rose early and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was around the city. So notice an entire city surrounded with military men, chariots, because they're coming after one prophet of God and Elisha's servant said to Elisha, alas, my master, what shall we do? So you see this. He's afraid of the scene that he's seeing unfold before him. But in verse 16, we see Elisha's response. He's completely untroubled. He's completely unfazed that he's not afraid of a great army that has come against him to take him captive. Notice what he said in verse 16. Elisha answered, Fear not. That's the first thing that someone who is walking with God, they don't let fear in. And I want you to know fear is wrong every time. So Elisha answered and said, fear not. Why was he not to be afraid? For those with us are more than those with them. So this servant of Elisha is seeing an entire military army against him. And Elisha said, I don't care how many you see out there, there's more with us than against us. This is what we know as one in Christ. There is more with us than against us. This is why we don't fear. This is why we acknowledge who's in us. Because when we put him to work for us, it's more than enough to overcome any enemy that comes against us. So verse 17. Then Elisha prayed and said, lord, I pray you open the servant's eyes that he may see. And the Lord opened the young man's eyes and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. So the first thing he saw when he woke up, the servants saw. He saw the enemy's army. But what he didn't see, God already had a host of protection around this man of God. So Elisha says, God, open his eyes so that he can see. Why was Elisha untroubled? Because he was fixed on what he didn't see so that he could ignore what he did see. That's what we are in Christ. We know there's another realm that's working for us. There is another higher power, a higher authority that there's more for us than against us. That's why we refuse to fear. If we're afraid, it's because we're not believing what's for us. We're believing what's against us. But we as believers know there is more for us than against us. Therefore, we don't fear. I want you to know there's more healing power for you than sickness that's against you. There is more provision that's for you than lack. That's against you. There is more peace for you than strife that is against you. There is more faith for you than fear that is against you. I want you to know you will never come up short when you. When you dip into the one who's on the inside of you. Because in you is a far greater victor than anything that comes against you. Now, we would all be also aware of what about these three Hebrew men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. In Daniel, chapter three, in verse 16, it talks about how King Nebuchadnezzar set up a golden image. And he commanded all the leaders of the nation to be gathered and King Nebuchadnezzar was going to have the sound of music to be played. And at that sound of music, when that music was heard, every single one of those political leaders, every single leader of his nation was to bow down and they were to worship the golden image of Nebuchadnezzar. And so when the music sounded and Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were the only three left standing, with everyone around you bowing, you can see who's not bowing real easy. And so word was sent to King Nebuchadnezzar. There's three men here that have not bowed. And so King Nebuchadnezzar, he commanded that they be called. And he. He brought them before him and he threatened them. And he said, I'm going to give you one more chance. The music's going to play again. And when that music plays, I expect you to bow. And I love something that Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, they answered the king at this time of threat. And this is Daniel, chapter 3, verse 16, the King James translation. As Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego stood before the king with their lives being threatened, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego answered and said to the king, o Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. What's this mean? We are not concerned about our lives. We are not wondering what's going to come of us. We're not struggling in what our answer is to be. If it be so, if what be so? If you throw us in to the burning fiery furnace, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace. And he will deliver us. Do you hear? Faith in that. Do you understand? They weren't fearful. They weren't afraid in the face of being threatened with their life with this fiery furnace. They listen. They were political men. They were. They have seen people put to death through this, through this form before, but they did not fear that. And they said, God will deliver us out of thine hand, O king, in verse 18. But if not. But if you don't throw us in, be it known unto the O King, we are still not going to serve your gods and we're not going to worship the golden image which you have set up. Now, many people read this wrong. Verse 17. They, they read, it is this way. If it be so, if you throw us in, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace. And he will deliver us. Now isn't that a firm statement? They're not wavering on anything of their deliverance. But if not, and this is where people misread it, they think it means, but if not. But if he doesn't deliver us, be it known unto thee, we're not going to serve your image. Listen, if God doesn't deliver them, he doesn't tell them we're not going to bow and serve because they're going to be. They're going to be burned up anyway if God didn't deliver them. But that's not what they said. If you throw us in that we are, we are. If it be so, if you throw us in, God will deliver us. But if you don't throw us in, we're still not going to bow down. In other words, they expected the king to change his word before they expected God not to deliver them. Do you see this? There was no fear in these, in the mouths of these men. There was no fear in their heart. There was no fear in their thought life. They were so certain of the God that delivered. I want you to know that in Christ we are certain of what belongs to us. We are certain that there is more for us than against us. That's why we don't fear anything that opposes us. Because greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world. And can I say this? It matters that you have faith friends. Because these three men stood together as faith friends. Not one of them was wavering. It matters that when you're faced with a test, who do you Talk to. Who do you listen to? Because you don't want to talk to anyone that's going to take faith out of you and that's going to make you question the victory that's yours. You don't want to ever take anything, the word of anyone who is going to make you waver. So sometimes when you're faced with a test, you're going to have to be very selective who you talk to. You're going to have to be very selective who you share with about what you're facing. Can I tell you? You and God are the majority. Don't ever feel like, well, I need someone. Listen, you got someone in him. You do not have to. If you say, I'm the only one who is really standing in the face of this in faith, well, good for you, because you and God are a majority. And don't let anyone speak into you that's going to take faith out of you. Listen, when you're believing God for a miracle, I want you to know that you don't have room for anything except what God says. You don't have room for somebody to say, well, maybe this won't work. Or maybe that when you're put. When you're putting the word of God on the inside of you and you're walking as one in Christ, you cannot, if I could say this, expose your faith to people who do not know who they are in Christ. That doesn't mean we're unkind to people, but it means that we find our fellowship with faith not with just people who love us, but with people of faith. Then we also have this situation. What about Daniel here? Daniel was threatened with his life also, and he had enemies in that political arena that were against him. Daniel was a political man. God had raised him up to be a voice in the political arena, but yet he occupied a place in the presence of God. He occupied a place carrying God's voice into the situation where he occupied. And so there was a strategy worked against Daniel. And his enemies gave a bad report of him to the king. And so the king who loved Daniel, he got trapped, so to speak, by these men who were Daniel's enemies. And so he had to hold true to his word. And he ended up throwing Daniel in the lion's den. But I want you to see In Daniel, chapter 6, in verse 21, the king did not want to throw Daniel into the lion's den, but he had been, if I could say this, caught in his own words. And so in Daniel 6, verse 21, it said here he had thrown. The king, had thrown Daniel in the lion's den. The next morning he comes out and he says, makes us go, Daniel, was God able to deliver you? And then he hears in verse 21 it said, then Daniel said unto the king, o king, live forever. My God has sent his angel and has shut the lions mouths that they have not hurt me for as much before him innocency was found in me. And also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt. Then said then was the king exceeding glad for him and commanded that they should take Daniel out of the den. So Daniel was taken out of the den and no matter of hurt was found upon him because he believed in God. Notice this. You believe in God. There is no. There is no sense in us ever being afraid because greater is he that's for us than he that's against us. I want you to know Daniel was in that lion's den completely unafraid. And because he knew that greater was the one that was working for him than the one that's working against him. And that's the same for you. That's the same for me. And in Christ we are made Satan's master. Never fear him. Amen. Well, we're able to come to you on this broadcast for one reason. Final Encouragement:
Nancy Dufresne powerfully unpacks the theme that believers possess delegated authority in Christ, are never to live in fear, and are always to live aware of the Greater One inside and who they are spiritually. Through clear biblical illustrations and practical exhortation, she insists that victory, authority, and mastery are integral parts of Christian identity—and these truths must be consciously received, acted on, and confessed daily.
