There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now. I receive it right now from the top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the healer. Thank you so much for joining us. And we're expecting you to hear answers for your life. So if we could encourage you this. Get hold of something to take notes on because we don't want you to let slip what God would speak to you and what he would say to you, because His Word, it brings us revelation of what he would be saying and what he has for our lives. So we want to take note of that. We are in the midst of a series that we've been on for a while called In Christ I Can. And in the previous episode, we started looking at some verses that teach us who we are in Christ and what belongs to us in Christ. What we were referencing was this, this document that we put on our website for you to download completely for free. Go to our website@jesustheheater.org and you can download this document and you can print it out. Now on the front of it, you'll see the name Kenneth E. Hagin. Well, it was his ministry that compiled all the what we would call in him scriptures. But another pastor and his wife took the time to go through 229 Bible translations. They drew the best of the translations out of these verses and they listed them for us and then they made them available to us to make available to you. So you can download that for free and get hold of these verses, read on them, feed on them. As one person was saying. They said, when I began to read the in Him Scriptures, that showed me who he was in me and who I was in Him. They said it seemed like I was born again again. What did that mean? They came into greater understanding that brought a refreshing and a depth to their life, and they began getting greater results. So we're just going through, and I want to pick up where we left off on the previous episode. We're just reading through some of these in him scriptures and we're just expounding on them a little bit. We left off looking at 2nd Corinthians chapter 1 and verse 21. I want us to look at it again. It reads this. Now, he which stablisheth us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God. But the BLE translation says, and the one who brings us with you into a settled position in Christ and has anointed us is God. Look at this. What belongs to us in Christ is to be unsettled. It's troubling to be unsettled in this world. But we are to be settled rather that settling, meaning that we're sure footed. We're not uncertain of what way, what direction to take in life. We're settled in who we are in him, we've settled on who he is in us. And we're living life from an untroubled flow. But a settled position. So we could say this. To be unsettled is to be operating outside of Christ, but to be completely settled and secure and certain and sure is our position in the flow of one in Christ. Because in Christ being settled belongs to us. Another translation, it's the BWE New Testament. It says, it is God who makes us stand strong with you in Christ. God has chosen us and put his mark on on us. I want you to know, don't let the difficulties and circumstances of life mark your life. You're already marked by Him. Now I want to look at another translation. This is the CCB translation. It says, God Himself has anointed us and strengthens us with you. Look at this. To serve Christ. So we're not even serving him apart from his help, his strength in Christ. We're strengthened by him to carry out his plan and his orders. When God strengthens us, know this, he does not just touch our human strength and elevate it. He gives us his own strength. It says in the word of God. It says, the Lord is the strength of my life. Look at that. The Lord is the strength. It doesn't say that the Lord just gives us strength. The Lord himself is the our strength. And that's what this verse is saying. We can look again. I want us to go on to Second Corinthians, chapter 2 and verse 14. Second Corinthians, chapter 2, verse 14 in the King James translation says this. Now thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place. So what's this mean? When Christ is involved, it's always victory as the outcome. You say. Well, Pastor Nancy, you know, I was, I was endeavoring to follow God in a situation and it didn't come out as victory. It came out as less than victory. Well, know this. If he is followed exactly, we always arrive at victory. If we are not experiencing victory in some measure, we have veered from following him or veered from doing something exactly as he has instructed. If we're not careful, we'll hear what he says and then we'll insert a little bit of what we think about it. We'll insert a little bit of our reasoning. Well, if we insert us, we have just veered from Him. So if we want to finish as he would say and author us to finish, we have to stay with how he is leading us without inserting our opinion, our reasonings, in our assistance to Him. Because how many of you know him being the genius, he does not need our input in that. He just needs us to obey as he leads. I want to read out of that same verse 2 Corinthians 2:14. I'm going to read the BWE New Testament. It reads, but I thank God, he has given us Christ. Look at that. Why don't you meditate on that? He has given me Christ. What is Christ? The Anointed One and His anointing. We have his anointing and it says this. And Christ leads us to victory every time. There's no such thing as the, as the phrase of faith failure. Because that those two don't work together. Why? Because if we're following Christ, we arrive at victory every time. Not sometime, not most of the time, but every time. It says, and Christ leads us to victory every time. To know Christ is like a sweet smell. And God lets us carry that sweet smell of his truth everywhere. How many of you know this is a day by day victory situation? This is not just when the emergencies of life show up, but every day we are to follow him, follow His Word, because He belongs to us. And that way every day we know what kind of life we're going to end up living. A victory life. Then the GT translation says this. Thank God, he always gives us the victory in Christ. God uses us to spread to all places the sweet smell of knowing Him. Listen to that. God uses us to spread to all places the sweet smell of knowing Him. When we're living as God authors for us to live. When we're letting him manifest through us, that when people get around us, they want to know him better. Now look at that. It's him we want people enthralled with, not us. And have you ever noticed this? Sometimes you can have great admiration for someone, but if you're around someone who's just. They're just operating as human, sometimes you get around him and you go, mm, it's not quite what I thought, but the more we're around him, the more impressed we get with Him. The more we're around others, sometimes the less impressed we can be because we see, oh, they're just a man. But the more we're around him, the more impressed we become with Him. Every time God shows up in my situation and he just keeps impressing me more and more and more. So when people get around us, they should want him more if we're doing it right. Because he's the one that really gains sway in our lives when we recognize who he is and we're drawing on Him. Another translation, the T4T translation of Second Corinthians, chapter 2, verse 14, says this. However, before I tell you any more about that, I want to thank God for what he is doing. As a great leader of fighting men causes all of his prisoners to take part in his victory parade, God leads us, who are his workers, to always win over Satan. Because of our close relationship with Christ, God causes people to come to know Jesus Christ as a result of our teaching, his message. That message is like the smell of perfume. So how many of you know that our life is always giving off something, an aroma of something, an aroma of victory, an aroma of strife, or an aroma of struggle. But how many of you know that when people get around us, they should want more of Him? Amen. Then I want us to go. Let's go to another verse that I wanted to bring to you today. And this one is. Let's go to Colossians, chapter 1 and verse 26. Colossians 1, verse 26. The King James translation says this. Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints, to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of his mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you the hope of glory. Let me read it to you out of the. Out of this translation. It says there is a divine mystery, a secret surprise that has been concealed from the world for generations. And now it's being revealed, unfolded, and manifested for every holy believer to experience. And what is that mystery? It's this living within you is the Christ who floods you with the expectation of glory. This mystery of Christ embedded within us. Look at that. Christ embedded within us. What's that mean? One with us, one with him becomes a heavenly treasure chest of hope filled with the riches of glory for his people. And God wants everyone to know it. Now, that's the Passion translation. Notice this. This verse is saying, christ is the treasure box. And God has put all the glory, the riches of his glory in Christ. And then that is in us. Because God has authorized us to live out of the riches of his glory. And they're all dwelling in Christ. Then I want us to go to another verse here. And this is Colossians chapter 2, verse 10. Colossians 2, verse 10. And this is the King James translation. It says, and you are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. Another translation, it's the ERV translation. It says, because you belong to Christ, you are complete, having everything you need. Christ is ruler over every other power and authority. Now why don't we meditate on that a little bit as we're laying down in bed at night that it says, you have everything you need. Why? Because the enemy would try to make us fearful by thinking, I need this. How am I going to get this? Trying to figure it out. Trying to go through the reasoning of the mind of man. What am I going to do to get this? What am I? This need is so pressing on my life. And people can become very anxious about a need that's pressing. In the face of that, you need to settle down on what the Word says. And you say this, I have everything I need because in Christ is everything I need. And what I need to know, he makes known to me. You know, sometimes people, if I could say this, they get disturbed by what they don't know. They become fearful. I don't know enough. I don't focus on what I don't know. I just focus on doing what I already know. If I will do what I already know, then God will bring me into what I need to know. Listen, knowledge is progressive. Revelation is progressive. We don't know it all at once, see it all at once. But God will bring us into greater and greater degrees of revelation. But when we are going to be coming into greater degrees of revelation, it's because we're already doing what we already know. Sometimes people will ask for something and it's like, I know this growing up is when my children were growing up and they would say, mom, I need this, or, I need that. And I say, well, I already bought you something of that last month, and it's just laying in the corner. Why don't you. Why don't you use that instead of asking for something more? What's that mean? What God's already shown you, employ it. And when we are faithful with what he's already shown us, then we're positioned for him to show us more. So when God shows us revelation, he expects us to do it. And can I say this? It's dangerous to come up to light and not walk in it, because it's not just about getting more and more and more understanding of the Word, but it's about employing the understanding we do have. And so much of the time, the devil tries to frighten people by. He will say, well, you just don't know enough. And if you're faced with an immediate need, an immediate, if I could say this emergency of life, and sometimes people will open the door to fear because they go, I don't know what to do in the face of this. I don't know how to handle this. Settle down on that. The one in you knows, and you can rest on him, if you will, just settle down. You're trusting him to bring you into what you need to know. Many times people face difficulties because they're running to other people to look for help. They're looking to other people to lean on. Smith Wigglesworth, who was an English preacher, and his ministry was on the forefront in the first part of the 1900s. He was a man who. His ministry was earmarked by miracles and the healing, anointing. And he was talking to a man one day. He lived in England, and this man was selling a particular home. And him and Smith Wigglesworth got into a discussion about this home. And Smith Wigglesworth said to him, he says, I'd like to buy that home. I'll buy it from you. And we know this. In generations past, your word was your bond. If you said you were going to do something, then that was as good as a contract. If you shook hands with somebody agreeing to something, that was your bond. In today's society, because honor has diminished so much, people will say things and they don't follow through on their word, well, that's dishonorable. I mean, I was raised in a household. My mother constantly said to us kids, if you said it, you're doing it. And for example, I mean, if we signed up to be a part of an activity, part of an event, there was no such thing as you're not going to do it. Even if you regretted signing up, Mother made you do it because she taught you if you said you're doing it, you're doing it. And I don't care if it's inconvenient, and I don't care if it costs you a lot. You thought about it differently later and you want to back out. Mother never let us back out. Because that's the generation that taught us that honor is keeping your word. And can I tell you this? If you tell your kid you're going to do something, you need, you need to do it, well, I changed my mind. Nope. Because if you said it, you need to do it. If you don't keep your word, you won't trust God to keep his. Because there's something faltering in your honor. And so just know this. The Bible says that the mark of a spiritual man is one who swears to his own hurt and changes not. What's he saying. If you told someone you're going to do it, you're going to do it. Now, I will say this. Sometimes somebody will say, I'm going to do this. And God tells them, don't you do that? Well, then you honor his word and you obey him. But I will say this too many times. People are quick to let go of their word, and that will end up injuring your faith. So always put in practice, if I say I'm going to do something for somebody, I'm going to do it. And my mother taught us that. And every parent should ingrain that in their child. And so Smith Wigglesworth told this man, he said, I'll buy that home. Well, he recognized later, I misspoke. I did not ask God. And he knew, that's not the home I'm to buy. But he had already given his word. And so he recognized he had a deadline when he said he'd buy the home of a deadline. When he had to come up with the money for that, he didn't have the resources. So he went to family members, he went to relatives to try to borrow the money, and none of them had it to loan to him. He tried several different outlets of trying to get the money, and he couldn't. And he went. He finally went to God and said, God, I have misspoken. And he said, I need your help. Do you know that if we misspeak, but yet we will hold to the honor of what we said, God will help us. Now, if we're going to try to break our word, God won't help us break our Word, but God will help us hold to it. And so he went to God and he said, God, he said, I need your help. I've gotten myself into difficulty by misspeaking. Do you know God's a father? And I've told God, I said, God, I'm not looking to miss it, but if I do miss it, I expect you to bail me out. I'm your child. You know, I remember in Oklahoma, when we were growing up, we would often see this sign, especially in a store that had a lot of fragile things, breakables in it. And they would have a sign posted. You break it, you buy it. And I can tell you, there were times that there were four kids in our family that mother ended up buying something broken because we would break it. And when we would break it, she didn't say, okay, pull out your wallet. To us, she would pull out her wallet and she would pay for it. And I said, God, if I break it, I expect you to buy it. I'm not trying to break something, but I am so confident in the goodness of my father as my parent, that if I break something, he will help me out of this situation. And that's true. He will help you out of any situation. And so Smith Wigglesworth broke something, so to speak. He misspoke, and now he obligated himself to a great expense that he could not meet. So he went to God and he said, God, I have gotten myself in this situation, and I ask you to help me, and I need to know your wisdom on this situation. And God, God brought up the name because him and his wife pastored a church at the time there in Bradford, England. And God gave him the name of a man who was in their church. He was a congregation member. And Smith Wigglesworth said, I was dumbfounded when God said, go talk to this man. Because he said, this man was known as the man with the least amount of resources in our church. He had. He lived on the edge of poverty. And here God was telling me to address my need to go to this man. And he said, I didn't understand it, but he said, but I went. And he said, he approached this man and let's say if it was Mr. Jones, he goes up to Mr. Jones and said, Mr. Jones, I'm faced with a particular need. I was praying. I asked God for his divine help in it. And all I can say to you is, he gave me your name. I don't know what that means. I don't know why he gave me your name. But he said, God, Just spoke your name to me. And Mr. Jones spoke to him and said, pastor, he said, last week I had a relative who died and they left me an inheritance. And I've been saying to God, God, what do I do with this? Because I don't need all of this. I want to know what you would have me do. And he gave the money to Smith Wigglesworth. That got him out of that situation. What am I saying to you is that God is our helper. And when you don't know what to do, don't get into fear, settle down. That God will help you in that situation at that point of need because he is such a good father, he will bail you out every single time. But if I could say this, that's not an invitation to act unwisely, to just randomly cast away or cast aside your word and say things that you have no business saying. He wants us to be exacting with our words, correct with our words, but if we miss it, then he will always be there to help us out. Never let fear and worry in simply because you missed it. God is our helper, and he is our helper in the face of when we do it wrong, in face of when we do it right. We always need his help, and he is a good father, and he will be there. I remember this, that when I left home, I went. I moved away from home when I was 17 years old to go to college. And my mother, my dad. My parents were so good to me that Daddy handed me his checkbook and he said, honey, if you ever find yourself in a tight spot, he said, write a check on that. And he said, you sign my name to it, and I'll see to it that you get the money. Now, he was not offering to me to go out and waste his money. He was not offering for me to act unwisely with that. But he was saying, if you ever find yourself in a difficult spot, I'll help you out. Well, there were a few times I pulled out that checkbook and I wrote a check on Mother and Daddy, and they always made it good. And I know this, that the word says, if you, being evil, know how to be good to your children, how much more that our Heavenly Father is good to us. What's this mean? As good as a parent may have been to you, no one is as good to us as our Heavenly Father. He will always help you, always assist you, and the devil will point to you and say, well, you've done it wrong and now you have to suffer a measure of defeat. When you do it wrong, all you have to do when the accuser says, you're going to be stuck now because you did it wrong, just remind the accuser, devil, I have a savior. And because I did it wrong only proves how much I need a savior. And I have divine help because I have a savior. And thank God he is completely a savior. That will help us out of any difficulty. And so don't worry about it. Don't get into fear about it. Because if we get into worry, we close the door to the power of God to meet our need. Never get into fear in the face of any need that you may be encountering. God is a good God, and He's a good father. And he will help you out of every situation. Because in Christ belongs to you. A father's help. Amen. And he doesn't falter on his help. Well, we're able to come to you in these daily broadcasts for one reason. I want you to know that every single person in this world needs a Savior. And the greatest thing of all is that we have one. But this Savior must be welcomed. This Savior must be received. And it's so easy to receive Jesus as the Savior. The Word says that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. So right now do that with me. Say, Jesus, I receive you as my Savior. Come into my heart and be the Lord of my life, and I'll live for you all the days of my life. God bless you.
