There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the healer. And we're just so thrilled to be bringing you the series that we've been teaching for quite a time now. We've been teaching on in Christ. I can. And there is so much to be said because there's so much contained in the rich treasury that we have because we're one with him, because we are in him and because he is in us. And we're becoming more and more knowledgeable of what belongs to us in Christ because we want to become more and more skillful with operating and partaking of the flow that God has made ours. And so we say thank you for joining us and go back and watch any previous episodes in this series that you may have missed because, my goodness, we've said so much already. And we're just thankful that the Holy Ghost is giving us utterance because in the utterances, we find answers for our life and we find greater revelation of what God has made ours. On some previous episodes, we were referring to Isaiah, chapter 60, and verse 1 in the King James translation of Isaiah 61 says this. Arise and shine, for thy light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. Now, I want you to see this. The first phrase, arise and shine, for thy light is come. Well, when it talks about arising, it's talking about coming up to another level, that how many of you know that where we're at today in our walk with God, there's always more to. There's always more to have the knowledge that we may be walking in today. Well, there's more to know. And so we never are to come at a place where we hit neutral ground in the life of faith. It's either we're going forward or we're losing ground. There's no such Thing as neutral, just maintaining faith. Because either we're feeding our faith and growing, or faith is weakening. And. And the way our faith is to be ever growing is keep feeding on the Word, keep finding out and discovering what God has made ours and walk in the light of it. We've said this in previous episodes, but we have to give ourselves this spiritual habit that no matter what circumstances we face, no matter what arises, we ask ourselves, what does the Word say about this? Because we have to learn to respond at the level of the Word, that because that's how we arise in every situation, we come above it as we are doers of the Word. So know this, that God does not just intend that we be kicked around by the circumstances of life, but we're to rule and reign over them. But we have to do things God's way. We have to think as he would have us to think. Taking his thoughts, responding in line with the Word, and not letting the circumstances rewrite what we believe. You know, God said to the disciples at one point, he said, let's go to the other side. And he was speaking about them getting in a boat and traveling to the other side of the lake where they were to minister there. And while they were en route, they all got in the boat. But while they were en route, while they were on the lake there, a storm arose. And notice Peter did something. He came back and he woke up Jesus. And he said, master, carest thou not that we perish? Well, who is it that caused that storm? Well, well, not God. The enemy caused it. But notice that Peter's words started reflecting the circumstances they were facing. And what did he say? He said, carestou not that we perish. Well, who told him they were perishing? Well, the opposition did. And so Peter changed what he believed simply because the circumstances around him rewrote what he chose to believe. But I want you to know that the Word is unchanging. And when we stay with the Word, we don't have to change what we believe. The circumstances have to change. And so we have to realize that in Christ, it anchors us when we go first to the Word and we say, who is he in us? Who are we in Him? And what does the Word say about this situation? And we just stay with what the Word says because we are not living our lives based on circumstances. We're living our lives based on the Word. And just know this, any circumstance that you can see or feel is up for change. Why is that? Because the Word tells us while we look not at the things which are Seen, but at the things which are not seen. Why is that? Because that which is seen is temporal. But that which is unseen is eternal. Now look at that phrase. That which is seen is temporal. What's that mean? It's up for change. But that which is unseen is eternal. It's not going to change. The Word isn't going to change. God's standard isn't going to change. And if we will stay with the Word, we are staying anchored. We're not fixing our faith to something changeable, but we attach our faith to the Word of God, and it keeps us anchored by His Word. So know this. Any circumstance that you can see in your life today, it's up for change. Why? It is only temporal. Well, what is it that's going to cause it to change while we're looking at what is unseen? Not while we're occupied with what is seen, but while we're occupied with what is unseen. And we talk about that realm. We talk about that because really, faith is dealing only with what is unseen. Faith is always dealing with the invisible. It's not dealing with something that has manifested. Once something has shown up into this realm, faith is no longer called for. But faith is always dealing with the unseen, is dealing with the invisible. And so as we hold to our faith, then, and we keep speaking the Word and we keep responding based on the Word, not responding based on circumstances, then that which is seen is going to change. And it's just simply outlasting the opposition. That is, faith's role is to just endure. And so as we stay true to the Word of God, as we make the Word our standard, then it changes everything around us. And that's part of the privilege of being in Christ, that we know what to attach our faith to. We know what to attach our attention to. And it keeps us steady and it keeps us immovable. And so when the Word says, In Isaiah, chapter 60, it says, Arise. Know this. Don't stay at the place where you've always been. There's always. There's always further to go. Never allow a ceiling over your life. And what I mean by that is, never be capped out. Never be topped off to where God can't take us any further. We always want to go further because there's always more that God has to bring us into. So notice this. Arise and shine, for thy light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. Notice this, that as we arise, we rise into greater glory. Well, what's. What's the glory? It's the manifestation of God himself. It's the manifestation of his presence, of His Word coming into place. And so to have more of what belongs to us, we have to arise out of. Out of the level of thinking we're at, maybe out of the level of speaking, to come up to a higher place. We come up to a higher flow, higher words. What does the Word tell us? It says that God. God was speaking, and he said, my thoughts are higher than your thoughts. My ways are higher than your ways. He's not sentencing us to lower flow. He's saying that the flow you're at, there's always more to come up into. There's always a higher flow. And so really, Isaiah is saying the same thing. When we arise, we come into a greater expression of God, of God manifesting in our life. So it's not okay to just be at idle. It's not okay just to be in neutral and drift and be on autopilot, so to speak. But we have to do what Paul said. He said, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Well, what's he talking about? He's saying that we won't float into God's best, but on purpose. We take steps to arise. We press, not pressing against God, but pressing against opposition that would try to slow our advancement and our progress. And so we need to press into all that's ours in Christ, because the things that belong to us, we won't just float into. We have to be interested enough to advance past where we're at. You know, we should look at our lives a year ago, two years ago, or even five years ago and say, I should be advancing. Every single arena should look different today than it did last year. And if we're not, we need to pay attention to that and we need to start putting some press into it. And like I said, pressing past opposition, learning to press, past circumstances. And I want to read to you out of Isaiah, chapter 60, verse 1. But I want to read the Amplified Classic translation. It says this. Arise from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you. Rise to a new life. Shine, be radiant with the glory of the Lord. For your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. So he's saying that our. Our posture is to show that the glory of God is increasing upon us. How are we going to do that? We're going to rise. What's that? That implies going further into the renewing of our mind. That implies going further in being a doer of the Word that implies going into a greater level of skill with who we are in Christ. And it affects the way we think, the way we speak, the way we believe. And when we do that, then we can know for certain that there's always more waiting for us. And the enemy, the enemy's great job against our life is to hold us back, to try to hinder our progress, to try to keep us from advancing. And he uses all kinds of strategies, but one of the primary strategies he uses is condemnation. It's a sense of guilt, a sense of shame. All of that is the flow of condemnation. But what does it tell us? In Romans, chapter 8, verse 1, it says there is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. How many of you know that condemnation pushes down on you, shows you your faults, your failures, your weaknesses. And when condemnation comes, it takes the hope out of you. But God never condemns us with our past. He never condemns us with how where we missed it. He just simply has made the blood available for us to receive of the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all of it. But I will say this, that our own Spirit will convict us now. See, the Holy Ghost, he convicted us that we needed to be born again. But once we were born again, now our own Spirit is in union with God. And our Spirit will convict us when we're not walking in line with the Word. But I will say this condemnation is so far different than conviction. Because in conviction we see in what way our lives are wrong. And we are instructed in the Word how to come up into a higher flow, how to correct that condemnation shows you your fault, your failure or your weakness, and makes it though as though there is no help for you. That's the flow of the enemy. And that's his primary strategy that he uses against every human. He always comes with guilt and condemnation and shame and all those things that are like things. Well, that, that might have been true of the old man, but not the new man in Christ. And we should not tolerate or put up with condemnation in our life. But that is the strategy of the accuser, of the brethren. He's always going to accuse you with your false, your failures, your weaknesses. And every single one of us must become skillful at not letting the enemy use cause those strategies to be effective against us. Every day we resist that condemnation. We resist the pointing back to the old man, pointing back to the faults, the failures, the weaknesses, the sins of the past. Because that's nothing but a strategy of the enemy. Listen, once we confess our sin, when we miss it. We should confess our sin first. John 1:9. If we confess our sin, he is faithful and just to forgive us. Look at this. And cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Well, how's he going to cleanse us? With the blood of Jesus. And it's the blood of Jesus that puts it back as though we never missed it. So why does God cleanse us with that blood? So that we can keep pace with him, so we can keep moving with Him. There's no guilt, no condemnation, no shame. There's only righteousness. When we understand that God made us right with him through the blood of Jesus, that we can keep pace with the plan of God, we can keep moving forward with Him. We can arise into the fullness of what he has for us and walking out and carrying out his plan for our lives. And so it's so critical that we see that we. It's up to us to arise. What's that mean? We make a step and we say, I'm stepping past opposition. I'm stepping past condemnation. I'm stepping past accusations. I'm stepping past the guilt of the past, of false sins. And I want to use this word inadequacies. Because we will all. We will never feel sufficient in ourselves to carry out what God says. But the thing is, God is not working his plan through us, through our sufficiency, but through his sufficiency that's in us. And so we have to renew our minds that when the enemy accuses us with all the inadequacies of self that we remind him. It's not my. My. My sufficiency, my own ability that God is going to fulfill his plan. He has filled us with Himself and we listen. He filled us with Himself because He intends to do it through us. And the devil always wants you to think, measure yourself, to see if you're equal to the task. Listen, we're not equal to any task that God gives. But we know this. The God in us is the one that is the great equalizer. He. He intends to fulfill his task through us with his own ability. And we rest and we recline on that. So every single person that God has used in a great way had to become skillful at stepping past the accusations of the enemy that point to his own inadequacies. So the devil's always pointing to our inadequacies and saying, you can't do this. Because if we're going to fulfill the plan of God and fulfill what we're born for, we have to become skillful at Stepping past that and not letting those. Those threats and suggestions dog and torment us because it will absolutely steal the life out of us. And this is what Isaiah said to arise past all of the. It says, pass. Arise from the depression and the prostration in which circumstances have kept you. Well, the devil's working through circumstances, and he always will heighten circumstances. To try, to try to adjust your pace in God. But I love something that one translation said Paul was writing. And he said. He said, I have learned how to live independent of circumstances. What's he saying? I'm drawing on Christ in me. I'm not looking to circumstances to put me over. That means if circumstances are favorable or unfavorable, it doesn't matter to us because we're the same, because we're drawing or on who's in us. And we're not expecting and looking to circumstances to elevate us into the best that God has for us. We are living above them. Circumstances come to all of us, but they don't have to have the intended outcome against our lives. Listen, if we don't arise, if we don't become skillful at stepping past the strategies of the enemy, stepping past these feelings in the flesh, the carnal side of our own inadequacies, we have. Listen, we're going to have to step past that by getting our eyes off us and getting our eyes on him, the greater One who is in us. And we have to remind ourselves, as Jesus said. He said, my Father in me, he does the works. Now, listen, when Jesus made that statement, he wasn't just informing the disciples of something, which he. It really certainly was that. Of course he informed them. But I believe this. He's confessing something in the face of opposition. My Father in me, he does the works. Listen, if Jesus had to say it, we have to say it. Why? It reminds us in the face of opposition that we have something greater working for us than us. It's God who is indwelling us that we're spending. We're drawing on Him. And if we don't arise past certain feelings of inadequacy. Listen, that's why we don't walk by what we feel. The devil can make you feel a lot of things. Circumstances can make you feel a lot of things. Even your own soul can bend toward feeling something. You know, you can feel as sad as you want, anytime you want, but you can feel as glad as you want, anytime you want, just simply by what you put your attention on. But there will never come a time when we're faced with the things of God. And we say in myself, I can accomplish this. No, we're aware we cannot in ourselves, but the greater one in us can do far superior. And so we're leaning on him and we're accomplishing his plan through his ability that he gave us. I know this feelings of inadequacy have caused many believers to step back, caused many ministers to step back and not fulfill what they were born for because they were waiting to feel adequate before they advanced. I can't tell you, no matter how much I study, no matter how much I pray, I never feel like, oh, yeah, I've got this, let's just go ahead. No, I have to keep leaning and relying and moving by faith, leaning on God that He's the One that's sufficient. Whenever God allows us to stand in front of a congregation of people where needs are represented and some of them are facing impossible circumstances, impossible situations, I don't measure me before I go out and minister to them because I know there's nothing in Nancy Dufresne to help them. But there's everything in the God in Nancy Dufresne. And I can only step out there peacefully and joyfully when I'm aware. Listen, it's him doing the work through me, because in myself, there's nothing adequate enough in me for them. It's all of the God in me that is more than enough. And so we're not to live our lives just looking at ourselves, because every time we just focus on us, we sink low. But when we have our attention on him, we step up and we. We move up to the flow that he's authored for us all along. And so feelings of inadequacy are not to be tolerated. They are from the enemy and they're part of the weaponry of the accuser, of the brethren. And we are to absolutely resist them. We're to cast them down and not give them attention and not give them notice and not meditate on them. And certainly, for goodness sake, don't tell other people about it, because when you give voice to it, it only becomes a bigger obstacle in your life. So we are authorized to quit looking at us. And that's what the renewed mind does. It looks someplace other than us. What does it look at? It looks at the word. It holds to what God said. Because there are things that we will face in this life that we shouldn't face if we don't step past those feelings of inadequacy that the devil seeks to bring against us. We were talking about it in a previous episode, but it's so true in this situation is that anytime God's looking to advance you and to bring you into more, the devil will seemingly bombard you with your feelings of inadequacy. He'll point to faults and failures and weaknesses. He's wanting to get you to turn in a on yourself so that you become really a co laborer with the devil instead of a co laborer with God. And so we are to be skillful at recognizing. Wait a minute, this is from the enemy. And he's trying to block my advancement into something. And so we have to be skillful at recognizing that. How are we going to become skillful at it? Number one, we have to renew our minds. Find out who Christ made you to be. Find out who he is in you and who he is through you. And then you can rest knowing, listen, he's the one that's going to put me over in life. He's the one that's going to bring it to pass. Amen. We have to establish these truths in us. And it dismantles the strategies of the enemy, the accusations of the enemy. Because he's always going to try to use you as your own reason for failure. But thank God, greater is he that in us. And he's our reason for success. And know this, the. The adequacy that we have in Him. He makes us adequate. He makes us.

He shares his success with us and that's what puts us over. But it's not from our own performance. How many times the devil wants to get us to point back? Well, you haven't prayed enough, you haven't confessed enough, you haven't done this enough and you haven't done that enough. The Devil is trying to make our in him truths hinge on performance. I want you to know you're in Him. Whether you read your Bible or not, whether you pray or not, you're still in Him. And all that's in him belongs to you. Now, if we don't find out what belongs to us, we won't enjoy what belongs to us in Him. So that's. That's not a license to not study. It's not a license to not pray. But we study and we pray so that we can discover what he's already made ours. But as we study and as we pray, it doesn't make it more ours. It's always been ours since the new birth. When we were born again, we came into the fullness of His. All that belongs to him belongs to us. At the new birth. But we've got to discover that through our times of study, through our times of feeding on the Word and building that Word in us. Listen, we don't perform spiritually to earn something from God, but to move with God, we do have to obey Him. So how many of you know we're not obeying as a performance, we're obeying to keep moving with how he's leading us. But this is not a performance based redemption. I love something that the Word says. It says that we have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness. Look at this next word. And translated into the kingdom of his dear Son. We did not even have to journey from the old life to the new life, from the old kingdom to the new kingdom. He picked us up and translated us from one kingdom to the next that is so completely free of our performance, that has nothing to do with our performance. But he translated us so that we know this is not based on performance. But once we're born again, once we've been translated into the kingdom of his dear Son, our lives should bear the fruit that we are now in a new kingdom. We should advance, we should grow up, we should become more skillful. We should gain knowledge of what belongs to us in Christ so that the devil quits gaining the advantage over our life through our ignorance. And so it is our privilege to take time to study the Word, to discover what he's already made ours, so that we begin to live as rich as we are instead of living a life where we're pushed back through harassing thoughts, harassing condemnation, harassing accusations. Because we are to rule and reign in life as a king. And so we're to stand up in the face of those and say those those past things that you accuse me with don't belong to me anymore because the blood of Jesus has cleansed me. And I'm not sufficient in myself. But he is my sufficiency. And so we have to learn to turn toward the greater One in us so that we can live the life the greater One authored for us. Amen. Well, we're going to keep studying along this line. Next time. And until next time, remember this. Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
This episode continues Nancy Dufresne’s long-running series “In Christ I Can,” focusing deeply on the believer’s position and sufficiency in Christ. The episode emphasizes practical ways to renew the mind, overcome condemnation, and live above life’s circumstances by claiming identity and inheritance in Christ. Listeners are encouraged to advance spiritually, reject feelings of inadequacy, and become skillful at operating in what belongs to them through Christ.
Nancy Dufresne’s teaching consistently urges listeners to move beyond mere head knowledge or emotional response, to skillful, practical living grounded in their union with Christ. She challenges believers to silence the voices of condemnation and feelings of inadequacy with the truth of God’s Word, reminding them that advancing in the life of faith is always possible—and always expected.
Bottom Line:
“We are to rule and reign in life as a king... those past things that you accuse me with don't belong to me anymore because the blood of Jesus has cleansed me. And I'm not sufficient in myself. But he is my sufficiency.” (26:45)
