There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now. I receive it right now from the top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the healer. And we are so enjoying the topic that the Holy Ghost has us on, and that is studying who we are in Christ. And I want you to know, we all look so much better in him than outside of Him. In him is every answer, every help, every supply we'll ever need. Outside of him is nothing but us and opposition. And so we don't have to live our life just depending on us, but we're in Him. And he has filled us with Himself so that we can spend him every single day, not just during a time of opposition, not just during a time of crisis, but every single single day. We're drawing on the Greater One, on the inside of us and putting him to work for us. Amen. We've been looking at the past several episodes. We've been looking at Isaiah, chapter 60, verse 1. And I want us to go there again today. And I'm going to read it out of the amplified classic translation. It says this. Arise from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you. Rise and to a new life. And notice what will happen when we rise. Well, when we say this, it's really saying, advance, come up higher, Come up higher in your thinking, come up higher in your believing. Because as new as new creatures in Christ, we've been raised and seated with Christ. We have been raised to the highest seat that God has for us. But I know this. We have to come up in our thinking and come up in our believing and our speaking so that we can enjoy the position we've been raised to. So that we don't put up with the lower flow, but we put a demand on the higher flow that God has raised us to. But notice this. Once we arise, or once we come up higher, we come into greater Understanding of what God's made ours. It says this that we will shine for the glory of the Lord has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. What's that mean? That there is going to be evidence in our life that is going to be outflowing. That there is. There's a higher place that we've been occupying and there's greater manifestations of the glory of God. There's greater manifestations of God moving in our life, greater fruit bearing from God moving in our life when we arise and take our place in who we are in Christ. And we've been saying this, especially in the previous episodes, that one of the strategies of the accused, of the brethren, who is the devil, he's always trying to point back to our inadequacies, our faults, our failures, our weaknesses, because he doesn't want us to come up further or advance into what God has for us. Why does he target feelings of inadequacy? Why does he target pointing to our faults, failures or weaknesses? Because he's trying to dismantle our faith. Listen, the devil is always after your faith. Why is that? Because that's how we move with God, is by faith in the word of God, we're able to move forward with him. Faith. Faith is the currency of heaven. And know this, anytime the devil's attacking any area of your life, he's after your faith. Well, you say, well, Pastor Nancy, he's been attacking my love, my love walk. I mean, maybe problems in my marriage or problems in relationships. He's not attacking my faith, he's attacking my love walk. Well, since faith works by love, why do you think he's after your love walk? Because he wants to keep your faith from, From. From working as it ought. By attacking your love walk. The devil's always after faith because that's how we receive everything from God that he has made our present possession. Listen, in Christ we possess all, but by faith we partake of all. Now know the difference in Christ, we already possess all. But it's our by our faith that partake of what we possess. Just because we possess it doesn't mean we're partaking of it. And you say, well, how can that be, Pastor Nancy? How can I possess something I don't partake of? Well, you can possess a whole kitchen full of food and you're not partaking of it. You can possess a car that you're not riding in or a house that you're not sitting in right now. Just because you possess it doesn't mean that you're enjoying it. And so we, not only God not only wants us to possess it, he's already made it ours. It's our present possession, but it's by faith that we partake of it. And that's why the Devil's after our self image. That's why he's after pointing to our own inadequacies, our faults and our failures and our weaknesses, because he's trying to dismantle our faith. He wants to weaken our faith so that we don't move forward with God. And so we have to become skillful at not being, not walking by what we feel or what we see, because we don't always feel adequate. We don't always feel like we're in him. We don't always feel saved, we don't always feel victorious, but we are. And it has nothing to do with what we feel. It's based on what we know of the Word of God. And so we're. We're discovering who we are in Christ so that we will quit putting up with the. The strategies of the enemy pushing us back in our faith. And we're not advancing. One of the things that we are not to do is live this life simply cop with feelings of inadequacy and just trying to manage our life by coping with these feelings. We're not spending our whole life trying to overcome them or get past them. And sometimes people think, well, I just need to talk it out, because that'll get it out. Can I tell you this? What you talk about and what you focus on and what you give attention to is what you're letting in. It's not what you're letting out, it's what you're letting in. Instead of trying to focus on getting something out, we're to focus on pouring the Word in. Because it's the Word that will flush out and wash out wrong thinking. It's the Word that will flush out any, any strategy that the devil has used in the past that has tripped you up. As we fill up with the Word, we're strengthened with might in our inner man to stand strong against the enemy. Now, can I tell you this? When you're believing God for something to manifest in your life, an answer from God, maybe a miracle, maybe healing to manifest, maybe provision to manifest, people say, well, Pastor Nancy, it seems like I've been believing for this a long time. Well, we have to do more than simply believe for it. We have to fill up with the Word. Because as we're full of the Word, what happens is it Strengthens our spirit man. And when our spirit man is strong, we don't waver, we keep advancing. So our safety is in living full of the Word and in living full of the Spirit. If we're less than full, our spirit man is weakened and we're. When we're in a weakened condition, we don't take our strong stand against opposition and the devil is able to push us back, so to speak, from advancing any further. So our job is to not cope with feelings of inadequacy, but rule and reign over them. We talk to the devil, we say, we resist that, that's from you. And we're not taking that because our sufficiency is of Christ. It's not in something we've earned, it's not in something we have performed. It's in who he made us to be and who he is in us. I was talking to someone recently, a precious minister that has really. Their ministry has grown and advanced. And it's not, if I could say this simply out, out in this scene realm. But there's such depth of their spiritual development that their congregation is grow spiritually. It's not just growing numerically, but it's growing spiritually. You know, growth is not just in one way. It's not just widening, but it's also deepening. And we don't just want to appear to be getting more and more stuff and the depth not happening. We need to be growing our roots deeper and deeper into him is what the Word says. So it's not just what we're accumulating outside that shows that shows advancement or that shows success. It's are our roots growing deeper and are we more rooted and are we more established in who we are in Him? And we have some things before us in the ministry of things that we know that God has made available to us. It's part of the plan of God for us, properties and buildings and things. And it's going to take more finances than we've ever had to handle before. And in talking with this one minister who has, my goodness, the favor of God has been so apparent. And they've grown and their ministry has laid hold of more and more and more. And one of the things they said that when God started showing them the next level of his plan for them, they said that what I did is I started feeding on who I was in Christ. Why is that? Why is it so important that we become more established in who we are in Christ if we're going to advance in the plan of God? Because the plan of God puts a bigger demand on us. And it's only the greater one in us that can fulfill the great demands of that plan. You know, in myself I can't fund all this. In myself I can't accomplish all this. But if I will establish my roots deeper and deeper in him, I realize, oh, it's not me doing it, it's the greater one in me doing it through me. And when you're more established in who you are in Christ, can I tell you what happens to you? You become more peaceful, you become more at rest because you recognize that you're reclining on the one who is bringing it to pass. When I talk about at rest, I don't mean you're inactive. Your faith still is active, but you're resting on what he can do through you. And so I think it's so important that whenever you are recognizing that God is offering you more, maybe he's giving you, he's put it in your heart to have a business. Maybe he's put it in your heart to give more than you've ever given or minister in a way that you've not ever ministered before. I want you to know it's not by you feeling better about yourself that you can move into this. It's by faith you start building the truth in you. Wait a minute. The greater one's in me. He's authored this plan for me because he intends to fulfill the plan through me. And this is what you're going to have to do if you're going to advance into greater fullness of what the plan of God holds for you. You have to recognize you can only fulfill it by reclining and resting and drawing on the greater one in you to do it. The devil is always trying to get you to dismantle your confidence in resting on the greater one. Let me give you an example. Several years ago now we have a full time Bible school at our ministry headquarters in Southern California. And we have a committee that reviews all the applicants that apply to be part of our Bible school. And sometimes the committee is at a. They don't come to a final conclusion on a certain applicant. Maybe there's something and you know, I don't just go when for anything. I don't ever just go by what I see on paper and what I see in front of me. I always go by in my spirit. Whenever I'm reading an application that's just an information gatherer, but I go by what's in my spirit. Sometimes God will say I'm sending them here for a rescue, or I'm sending them here to anchor them in the right kind of fellowship so that they can advance in the call I have on their life. Sometimes their paperwork doesn't line up, so to speak. But the spirit of God will speak to me about them. And that's what I tell the staff that helps me in reviewing all these applications. It's not just about what we see on paper, but what is the spirit of God saying to us because we recognize we're dealing with people's lives, that if we accept a student, it's going to affect their life. If we decline a student's application, it's going to affect their lives. And so I don't do that lightly. But I remember that there were several applications several years ago that the committee had reviewed. And they said, pastor Nancy, we've not come to a conclusion on this. We're not certain of what is the best answer for this applicant. And I remember they laid these out and there was questions, not just in the application, but in my spirit, that I had about these different applicants. Because it's. I'm not trying to fill up my Bible school. I'm trying to help people find the plan of God for their life. And if it's not the plan of God for them to be in the Bible school, I don't want them to come and be in the Bible school just so our numbers look to be growing. I want the plan of God for everyone, because then when everyone's in their place, the flow is so much sweeter for them and for us. And so as they put these applications in front of me, I was, in all honesty, what I had in my heart was, this is not the school for them. This is not the next step I have for them. But yet I recognize if I send a decline to these students, how is that going to affect their lives if I'm missing this, if I'm misunderstanding what I'm perceiving? And so I said to the staff members who were there with me in the meeting that day, I said, it's hard for me to know what to do about these few applicants here. And when I said that, I can't tell you the overwhelming sense of inadequacy to lead. There was such a lack, I felt, such a lack of. Of a sense of confidence to make a decision as the leader in that. And I left the. I left the office that day and I got in the car, and as soon as I got in the car, and I'm so grateful for a car because God speaks to me in my car. And so I got out of all that setting where I was at, and I got in the car. And the moment I got in the car, before I even left the parking lot there at the ministry headquarters, the spirit of God said to me, he said, don't say it's hard for you to know what to do. Now, see, that's what I said to that staff. It's hard for me to know what to do about these applications. What I was referring to is it's hard for me to give an answer, decline, because I don't want to miss it, and decline someone, and it affects their life in a negative way. And so when I said, it's hard for me to know what to do, what I'm saying is, the one on the inside of me can't be trusted. The one on the inside of me is not enough of a lead. Well, I want you to know I certainly would never purposely intend that to intend to say that. But that's really what my words equaled. If I said, it's hard for me to know what to do, I'm saying that the Holy Ghost on the inside of me is not leading me, but he is leading me. So he corrected me. He said, when you said, it's hard for me to know, you just made it hard to know. And so he said, don't say that. And I said, you're exactly right. I know better than to say that. But I was so feeling the inadequacy and not knowing these applicants personally. I'd never met them. I'd never been introduced to them. I'd never shaken hands with them. I'd never gotten to know them. And I'm going strictly off of paper, and I'm going off of what I have in my spirit. And because I recognize this is people's lives, I didn't want to miss it. And so the spirit of God corrected me, and he said, the answer to say is, I will always know what I need to do. And I said, you're exactly right, Holy Ghost. I know that that's the answer to give. But when I said, it's hard for me to know, I just took myself and out of the flow of the Holy Ghost, and I step into the flow of the mental arena. And that's where the devil troubles us when you say, because we've all done it, we've caught ourselves saying it. I don't know what to do about this child. I don't know what to do about this job. I don't Know what to do about this, Bill. I don't know what to do about this physical situation. I don't know what to do about that family member. When we say that we just removed ourselves from the wisdom flow and we came into the human flow, the mental flow. And that's where the devil is working to trouble our life and to break down our confidence in our ability to hear from God. So I realized that if I. When the Holy Spirit spoke to me, all I have to do is follow what seems right in my spirit. But if I draw it up into the mental arena and start analyzing it, start evaluating it, then what happens is the mental arena is the arena that Satan seeks to trouble us in. So I've got to stay out of the mental arena. I was looking at those applications, and I was seeing all the information that was before me, and I was focusing on that instead of focusing on what I sensed in my spirit. What I sensed in my spirit was to decline a few of these applicants. Not because they weren't worthy of applicants. It wasn't. It was just because that's not the next step God had for their life. And so the Holy Ghost helped me to know where I missed it. Because when I said, I don't know what to do about these applicants, I can't tell you the overwhelming sense of helplessness that I felt. Why? Because I just told the Holy Ghost he wasn't enough. And that is grieving to the Holy Ghost, but not only that, to my own spirit. So when I got home, you know, it wasn't a very long distance from driving to the church, to my home. And I said, holy Ghost, I'm so sorry. I know. I repent for that. I know that you're my helper. And my, my, my. Not just a few times, but scores and probably hundreds of times. I've looked to the inside and I've known exactly what to do. And I said, I do know what to do. I just didn't like what I knew. I didn't want to feel like I was responsible for these people. But you know what? If I'm following the Holy Ghost, I'm safe in the choices and the decisions I make when my decisions are based on how he's leading me. So I got home, and I recognized that from that setting in that office meeting that day, that there came a sense of. I was recognizing a fear of missing God. That was really what I was dealing with, the fear of missing God. Even if it wasn't for my life, it was for someone else's life. A fear of missing God. You know, when you want to do right, when you love God and you want to fulfill the plan of God, the devil knows that sincerity, and he tries to turn that sincerity in and make it a weapon against you to make you fearful of missing God. And I recognized that the fear of missing God was still there because that's what had initiated that statement that I made when I said, I don't know what to do about these applicants. That was fear suggesting that I would miss God. And so when I got home, I could sense that fear still there. Even though I corrected my words, I recognized that I hadn't dealt with the root of that, what was the beginning place of that fear of missing God. So as I sat, I went, and I was sitting on the back porch of my home, and there were other ministry decisions that were in front of me. There's always ministry decisions every day in front of me. And the more I was going through some of the emails and things that I had received from the staff, and they're asking this decision, this decision, this decision. I recognized that. And there's one thing about me. I've never been. I've never lacked confidence in making decisions. You know, some people don't like making decisions. They just step back from making decisions. I make a decision. I mean, I've never struggled with that. But when a spirit of fear is attacking you, the spirit of fear will try to weaken what you even had skill in. And so I'm sitting there making. Going through these different emails that are calling for decisions from me, and I'm sitting there and that. That fear of missing God, it just seems like with every email, it's just growing and growing and growing. And I. And you know, you got to grab hold of yourself at times, give yourself a talking to. And finally I recognize I have stepped outside of peace. If I've left peace, I've left the flow of the Holy Ghost. If I've left peace, I've stepped into the devil's arena. And that's my fault. That's not the devil's fault. That's my fault for not protecting my peace, for stepping outside of peace. And so finally, in the midst of all these decisions that were in front of me, now, it's not just the decision about the Bible school applicants. There's multiple decisions that I'm looking at that need to be made. And finally, I just said this out loud. I am graced to be in the position I'm in, and I'm graced to lead. And I'm graced to know what to do. And when I did that, every bit of the feelings of inadequacy left. Every bit of that sense of fear of missing God left. And I want you to know you're graced for what you're born for. You're graced for what God has called you to do. You're graced to fulfill everything that God has joined to your life. And it's not because you're sufficient. It's because of his sufficiency in you. And he is our sufficiency. And when I decided that and I declared that all of that feeling of inadequacy, that feeling of inability, that sense of fear of making a wrong decision, every bit of it was gone. And when I saw that just turn in a moment that if I could say this, the atmosphere changed immediately. I could sense the peace come back. The atmosphere completely changed. And I saw clearly that what I'm to do in the face of any decision, whatever seems right at that moment, just do it. If I have peace about doing it, do it. Quit over analyzing it, quit overthinking it. When you overthink it, that's when you start struggling because you've left the flow of the spirit. The spirit is not leading you through you overthinking it. The spirit is leading through, leading you through the peace you have in your spirit. And I realized I was, it began with when I was had those applications in front of me, I was overthinking it. We've all been there. But I want you to know overthinking is your enemy. It will get you second guessing what you know that the spirit is leading you to do. And so I just recognize I know better than this. I know to trust what I have in me. I don't. Even though I know my decisions affect other people, if I just follow the peace it will cause out, it will work out to be a blessing for them as well as everybody else. And after I said I'm graced to lead, I'm graced to make this decision. And I refuse to lose confidence in my decision making ability. I recognize, wait a minute, there must be coming a big decision that's going to come before me. That's why he started troubling me in the little decisions. There must be a big decision coming. And I want you to know it was within a matter of days that came before us. The opportunity to pay off our building and our ministry would be debt free for the first time in 30 years. And I had to make a large decision financially of how to do certain things to get that building paid off. The Devil knew that we were on the we were on the brink of the greatest place we had been financially in our ministry and he started sabotaging that decision, trying to sabotage that decision making ability before that all important decision showed up. So I want you to know when the devil starts pushing on you with feelings of inadequacy, he knows something big, something good, some big change, some big advancement is right in front of you and he wants to dismantle your faith so that you won't go there. Even though he launched that strategy against me, I began to recognize it and I caught it. And you can recognize it and catch it because in him there's no fear, there's no inadequacy because he is your sufficiency. Amen. Well, Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the Healer to.
