There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the Healer. And of course, we're going to be continuing in the same series we've been on. We've been teaching on in Christ I can. And we've. We've been making some really foundational statements that we. That are tied to this message. And one of the things is that we've been saying repeatedly is this, that God has authored a plan for your life. But when he authored that plan, he didn't just leave it to you to fulfill it apart from him, but he filled you with Himself because He intends to fulfill that plan through you. So the more he manifests through us is based on how much we're going to acknowledge him and how much we're going to recognize that it's him doing the work through us. And basically we are just following his lead. Whatever he tells us to do, we obey that. We fulfill that plan by faith as we act upon the Word and how he directs us. And I'm so grateful to know that we are not left to ourselves to carry out what we're born for. But we have the divine genius of Heaven in us. How many of you know that the Holy Ghost dwells on the inside of us? Greater is he that's in us than he that's in the world. And the One who is in us is wanting to manifest through us. So we have to learn to live mindful and turning our attention toward the One that's on the inside of us. And every time we're faced with any opposition, anytime we're faced with any circumstance that God didn't. That God didn't offer, we are to look at that and we're to say, this circumstance, this opposition cannot overcome the greater One on the inside of us. And we have to learn to put the Greater One to work for us. And we've been. There's some golden texts that we've been using in this series. And it begins in Colossians chapter two and verse six. And I want to read out of the living Bible translation, it reads this way. And now, just as you trusted Christ to save you, trust him too, for each day's problems. Live in vital union with Him. Now, we're going to focus on this phrase a little bit today, but I want you to remember that as we read on. So it says, live in vital union with Him. Let your roots grow down into him. And draw. Look at this. Draw up nourishment from Him. Look at this. It's up to us to do the drawing. He's on the inside of us. The wealth of heaven, this well of salvation that we have, that's on the inside of us, we're to draw out of that well. And so we're to draw up nourishment. Look at this. From him, not from us, not just from our own ability, our own being, but from the greater One that's on the inside of us. And it goes on and says this. See that you go on growing and in the Lord and become strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught. Well, how are we going to go on growing in the Lord? Well, one thing that that's going to include is we're going to have to grow in our knowledge of who he is in us and who we are in Him. And it says, become strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught. Let your lives overflow with joy and thanksgiving for all he has done. Don't let others spoil your faith and joy with their philosophies. What's he talking about? Others operate out of that mental arena, the soulish arena, and they will counsel you and advise you based on what they can reason, based on what they can figure out. But he's saying we're drawing from a different place. We're drawing from the foundation of the One who's on the inside of us. But listen, we have to make sure, who do we allow to be voices in our lives? Well, it's going to be someone. It needs to be someone who will help us to know him better, not someone who will draw us away from the awareness of Him. But it says don't in verse 8. Don't let others spoil your faith and joy with their philosophies, their wrong and shallow answers built on men's thoughts and ideas instead of on what Christ has said. For in Christ there is all of God in a human body. So you have everything when you have Christ. And you are filled through your. You are filled with God through your union with Christ. He is the highest ruler in authority over every other power. I want you to see this phrase that we are filled with God through our union with Christ. And then it said in a previous verse that we are to live in vital union with him. Well, what's that mean? That we are to live in ongoing fellowship with our Father. Do you know Jesus? He lived this earthly life and one thing he said to us, he said, the works that I do shall you do also. And greater works than these shall you do. You say, well, what greater works could we do than Jesus did? Well, it's not greater in quality, but it's greater in quantity. Because he was only one man filled with God doing these works, but as the body of Christ and as sons of God that now he has an entire family on the earth that's filled with God. So there's going to be greater amounts of these things being done. But notice Jesus said the same works that I do shall you do also. So we're saying this, that what Jesus life produced in Christ, our lives can produce the exact same thing. Jesus was the example of what the new creature in Christ should look like, of how we should be living, the fruit that our lives should be bearing. And when we look at the life of Jesus, because he was a son, we're a son. Do you know this? That Jesus made the statement, he says that just as my Father loves me, he loves you. So think of this, that God does not love love Jesus any more than he loves us. And so therefore we should be able to produce out of that love union the same thing that Jesus fellowship with God produced. Every action and every word that Jesus spoke, every action he took and every word he spoke worked. It always worked. There weren't some things that he endeavored to minister and they didn't come to pass. Or he prayed and the prayer didn't get answered, or he spoke and there wasn't a result with it. Every word and every action that Jesus took, it worked. We know this, that the winds obeyed him, the seas obeyed him, sickness and death obeyed his words. This wasn't because he was divine. For the Word tells us he laid aside his glory and virtue when he came to this earth, but he was born a man. Then he was anointed with the power of God. He was filled with the Holy Ghost. And know this, that that happened at the time that he was baptized in the river Jordan by John the Baptist. You know, he possibly could have been teaching before that time. But there were were not any works of power recorded until after he was anointed with the Holy Ghost, after the Holy Ghost came upon him. And then that anointing because why did he need to be anointed? Because he was living in this earth like a man. He had laid aside his glory and virtue. So what's that mean? That we are men, but we are filled with the Holy Ghost. So we have available to us the exact same power and the person that he had available to him. And that is the person of the Holy Ghost. So these things were not worked because he was God in the flesh. It w because he became a man. He took on the form of man and then he became anointed and showed us what a man filled with the Holy Ghost can produce. That's why we would call him the Sample Son. That he is the example of what every person who is in Christ can produce. If we'll find out who we are, what we have and what we can do, because we are one with Him. What made everything that Jesus said and did work? Well, I would beg to say that the secret of his effectiveness and of his fruit bearing was his union and his unbroken fellowship with His Father. The exercise of his authority was from this place of fellowship with His Father. And this is what it tells us in Colossians 2. I want to read that to you again. It says in Colossians chapter two. And it says in verse six again, this is the living Bible translation. He says, and now, just as you trusted Christ to save you, trust him too. For each day's problems, live in vital union with Him. So we. We have to. How do we live in vital union with Him? Well, we have to acknowledge he's on the inside of me. That because the greater one is in Me, I am in Christ, he is in Me. That my life can produce what his life produced. And not only this. He brought us into union with the Father. Hebrews 4:16. It tells us, come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need. What does that mean? We are welcome in the presence of the Father. Ephesians chapter two tells us that we have been raised and seated with Christ in heavenly places. So the same seat of authority that Jesus occupies at the right hand of the Father, we share that same seat of authority. You say, how can that be? Because he's the head, we're the body that everything he wants carried out as the head, he has to depend on the body. You know, your mind and in your head you can decide, I'm going to do some things, but you're going to have to have the cooperation of your body to carry that out. So does Jesus. And therefore we share the same seat of authority because he's the head and we are the body. And so that means that everything that the head wants produced that can be produced through the body. And so we have to recognize that we have been given authority upon this earth. That Jesus restored our authority to us, the authority that Adam once had. He turned it over to Satan. But when Jesus went to hell and defeated Satan, he came back and says, I had the keys of hell and death. What's that mean? He got our authority back. So we had the exact same authority that Jesus walked in upon this earth. Now let me tell you what makes our authority effective. That we live in ongoing, unbroken fellowship with our Father. Our authority operates from this place of fellowship. And if we. If we're not living mindful of God, if we're not giving the Word its proper place in our life, our authority is not going to work as it ought to. But as we live in ongoing, unbroken fellowship with our Father and then we use that authority, we're going to get the exact same results that Jesus got. Listen. Every miracle, every answer in prayer, every divine power that flowed from Jesus, it came because of his awareness that he and the Father were one. Listen. Jesus made this statement in John, chapter 10, verse 30. He said, I and the Father are one. He also made this statement, the Father in Me, he does the works. Now, this is the mindset of someone who is learning who they are in Christ. We recognize that it's the Father in us doing the work. It's not just us apart from him, but it's him being allowed to have his way through us. And that's the exact way that Jesus lived, that him and His Father were one. And it was the Father working through Him. Jesus never tried to do anything apart from the Father. And so Jesus revealed to us what fellowship with the Father means. What does that look like? It's the outflow of all good things. Know this that Jesus went everywhere doing good teaching, preaching and healing. But there was good that flowed out of everything he did. Why is that? Because he was manifesting His Father. Now, I want you to know this, that fellowship with the Father means that we are always welcome in his presence. You know, I've learned this. It's not about God said this to me years ago. He Said, living in my presence doesn't come by earning. It comes by turning. Then he said, no one has ever turned toward me and me not met them there. Madame Ware, in that term, that when we turn our attention, our acknowledgment toward him, that he will always. We find that he will always meet us at that place of turning. Now, think of this king Hezekiah. He was on his deathbed, and God sent the prophet to go in and say, warn him that set his house in order for he's going to die. Well, God was not sentencing the king to death. He was saying, the direction you're going, the way you're going, the end result of that is going to be death. But after the prophet warned him of that and he had left the bedchamber of the king, he wasn't even off the king's property. And God spoke to the prophet and said, go back and tell the king that I'm adding 15 years to his life. Well, what happened when the prophet walked out of the room? Remember, God told the. Told the king through the prophet, set your house in order. Well, he didn't set his physical house in order. He set his spiritual house in order. What did he do? He turned toward the wall, he turned toward God, and he made corrections. And when he turned, God met him in that turn. And God said to him, through the prophet of God, I'm adding 15 years to your life. I want you to know that we can just be. If I could say this. Taking some wrong directions in life, making some wrong decisions. And then if we recognize. Wait a minute, this isn't what God's directed me to do, and if we'll turn back and say, I'm going to get back on the plan of God, and God's going to make it clear to me what that plan is and how to come back into his will. When you just make that turn, God will meet you in that turn. Think of the prodigal son. He had taken his inheritance and he had wasted it in riotous living is what the word says. And it ended up that after he had spent all of his money, his friends left him because they had nothing more of him to use. And he had to go and get a job just taking care of a farmer's pigs. And he found himself so hungry and in so much want that he was even eating out of the. Out of the. The. The. The slop that the pigs were eating. And he comes to himself and he recognizes weight. He said, even the servants that work for my father are living Better than this. I'll go back and I will become a servant, servant to my father. And notice this. It says he came to himself many times. We. We thank God we had the opportunity to come to ourselves whenever we've stepped out of the will of God, out of the plan of God. But notice what happened when the prodigal son came to himself. He turned and he went back to his father's house. And even before he reached the house, the father, who was. Who was watching for him, saw him coming at a distance and he ran to meet him. That's exactly how God operates, that when we turn toward him, he always. He always meets us at that point of turning. And when that prodigal son arrived back, what did the Father do? He wasn't ashamed of his son. He put the ring on him, he put the robe on him. And he threw a party, inviting all the neighbors to come. He was letting that son know, I am not ashamed, ashamed of you. You are my son, and you are restored back into right fellowship. And how much of the time the devil will use this flow of condemnation and shame to keep people from drawing near to God. But I want you to know, once we're. Once we turn toward God, once we repent of anything we need to repent of, once we come back into right fellowship with God. The Father's not ashamed of us. That doesn't mean that he condones what we would have done. But the blood of Jesus cleanses us, and the Father receives us back into his fellowship. And that's the greatest thing that belongs to us in Christ, is fellowship with the Father. I want you to know you belong in the presence of God, that we are children of the throne, that we belong in his presence, and we don't have to earn that place. It's the right of sonship, because we are sons and daughters of God. We belong in his presence. Now, if we will live vitally aware of that, if we will acknowledge that every day and live life with our. If I could say this, our affection, our thoughts and our words turned toward him, that it's going to show and show up in our life and produce in our life the same exact fruit that Jesus life produced because of his fellowship with His Father, that miracles were the outflow of that fellowship, healings were the outflow of that fellowship, answers for the lives of those around him was the outflow of the fellowship with God. I love something that a minister stated about Kathryn Kuhlman. Now, she was someone who had a healing ministry in the 1960s and 70s. She was on the forefront here in the United States. And one of the things that a minister stated about her was her fellowship with God made it easy for others to receive their miracle. I want you to know that's exactly what Jesus life was. It was the fellowship he had with his Father that was blessing, the blessing humanity. Everywhere he went, people were partaking of healings, miracles, deliverance, freedom, anything that held them in bondage, Jesus was able to minister him to them. And it came to them from his own fellowship with the Father. Jesus lived aware that he and the Father were one. I want you to know you and the Father are one that belongs to us in Christ. And the more we are aware of that, the more we acknowledge that, the more we talk about that and refer to it, the more we're going to get the results of the union of that fellowship. You know, that's exactly what made the religious leaders of Jesus Day, infuriated with him. He. He called himself, he called God his Father. He didn't just call him a. He didn't just call him a formal name. He called him Father. And it infuriated the people. Why is that? Because they thought him not worthy to say that. Well, I want you to know, once you're born again, you are worthy to say that. And Jesus often referred when he said, the Father and I are one, My Father in Me, he does the works. So Jesus often confessed his dependency upon the Father. And when someone came and called him Good Teacher, what He said, he said, no one is good but my Father. And he constantly pointed everything back, that the outflow of his success in this life and ministry was his oneness with the Father. And he always gave God the glory and the honor for everything that happened because he recognized, it's the Father in me, he does the works. It's not me working apart from Him. So Jesus revealed to us what fellowship with the Father means and what it looks like. It looks like healing, it looks like miracles. It looks like answers. It looks like an outflow of peace. It looks like an untroubled life. Listen, you never saw Jesus beg God to do something for him. But he spoke as one who was in perfect harmony with the will of His Father. His words carried authority because his words were born out of oneness with the Father. His words didn't just come out of his own will, his own intellect, because he said, I only say what I hear the Father say. I only do what I see the Father do. So he never acted independent of his Father, but he took time to hear from His Father to see what His Father would show Him. And the Word talks about how Jesus would rise early in the morning. And it says at one, in one passage it said, which he was want to do. And the amplified said, which was his habit. He would go to a garden place in the morning, early, before anybody else was up. He would go out and spend time with the Father because it's in that time and place of fellowship that he would hear and he would see what the Father would show him. And then he would go out that day and manifest what he saw in his time of fellowship with the Father. I want you to know that fellowship with God doesn't earn his presence. I mean, his fellowship with our fellowship with God isn't earned. It belongs to us because he's our Father, we're his child. But in that place of fellowship we can here we can see what the Father wants us to minister to others. And I will say this, that I have learned that it's not if I pray long enough or if I read my Bible long enough. Listen, we need to feed on the Word because without His Word, we don't have faith to move with God. We need to pray. We need to be in fellowship with the Father and making requests of the Father. But I want you to know this, that His Presence belongs to you. You don't have to do those things long enough to earn his fellowship. And I have learned this, that really I just turn toward him and I say, I step in, I'm in His presence. And I just operate and think of as well, I'm in. I'm in the presence of the Father and I don't have to earn something of his presence. And so I just step like I'm in His presence. I just say, I just take a step in and there I'm at. There I'm at that place of his fellowship, fellowship with the Father. I don't have to labor to enter into his presence. His Presence belongs to us. And I just act like I'm in that place. And this is the way Jesus lived. He lived in vital, ongoing union with His Father. His words carried authority. They produced life, they produced fruit, they produced healings and miracles because they were born and out of a place of fellowship. And I want you to know fellowship is the basis for everything good in our life. That's why Jesus got the results he got. Jesus knew that he was heard by His Father. He knew his position with His Father. He knew that he was one with the One who answers. You are one with Him. You can know this that your prayers when they're made in line with the word of God, that God hears you. He doesn't just hear your pastor. He doesn't just hear a well known minister. God hears you. You have every bit of right to the presence of God as Jesus does. You have the same right, a fellowship that any other minister would have your that your pastor has. You have the same right for fellowship because that's why that's really the purpose of salvation, to have fellowship with our Father. And that is the great reward. It's the greatest thing that belongs to us. And I want you to know the devil will fight hard to if I could say this cause us to doubt that we have a right to the presence of God because He doesn't want us to produce the fruit that comes from knowing our Father. I want you to know faith is our fellowship with God. Faith is a walk with God. Faith is knowing God. And when you know him, you have no trouble obeying him because we easily respond to someone that we know so well. So we're going to continue along these lines next time and we don't want you to miss it. We want you to join us next time and remember this Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

Episode 926 | In Christ I Can, Part 166 – January 19, 2026
This episode continues Nancy Dufresne’s long-running “In Christ I Can” series, focusing on the spiritual truth that believers are called to live in ongoing, vital union with Christ. Nancy’s teaching centers on how the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit empowers believers, fosters intimacy with God, restores authority originally given to humanity, and enables Christians to experience the same supernatural fruit as Jesus did. The episode also delves into practical aspects of renewing the mind, drawing on biblical examples, and casting aside condemnation and shame to enjoy fellowship with the Father.
Nancy Dufresne’s style throughout is warm, encouraging, and deeply faith-filled. She uses plain language, illustrations, and exhortations familiar to a charismatic/Pentecostal Christian audience. The tone is empowering, focusing on what believers “have” in Christ and urging listeners to renew their minds, resist condemnation, and take practical steps into a more intimate walk with God.
In this episode, Nancy Dufresne reinforces foundational principles of Christian identity—that believers are in Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, have restored authority, and are always welcome in the presence of God. Practical and scriptural, her teaching urges listeners to recognize and act on their union with God, draw on His resources, cast off shame, and confidently live out their calling, just as Jesus did. The emphasis is clear: everything good in the Christian life flows from ongoing, unbroken fellowship with the Father.

Nancy promises to continue developing these themes in the next installment.
Closing Statement: "Remember this: Jesus is the healer. God bless you." (27:35)
