There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now. I receive it right now from the top of my head. From the top of my head to the soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the healer. And we are having the best time just around the Word and feeding on what God says and what an honor to discover in the Word who we really are and who he has made us to be. And in this series we've been on, it's teaching on in Christ. I can listen. In Christ, we have it all. Why? Because everything that God planned for our life, he put in Christ and then he put Christ in us. So it's not just the plan of God that He has for us, but the supply for the plan also. And we're just learning what it means to be in Christ and who he is in us and what he will do through us if we'll acknowledge him and turn toward Him. In one of our golden texts that we've been using in this series, it's Colossians chapter two and verse six. And I'm going to read it out of the living Bible translation. Just a verse here. It says, and now, just as you trusted Christ to save, you trust him too, for each day's problems. Look at this next phrase. Live in vital union with Him. Well, what does that mean when it says, live in vital union with Him? Well, it's talking about our fellowship with God. How many of you know that the greatest thing we received in redemption is that we are one with the Father. And it's the blood of Jesus that purchased us, that position, that place. And we are in union with the Father. Every word and every action that Jesus took when he was on this earth, in his earthly ministry, it worked. Every prayer worked, every word worked, every action worked. Why? Because he was one with His Father and He recognized it. It was from a place of union, from a place of fellowship that the fruit of his life and minist. It wasn't just a flow of power. The power came through the union of. Of him being one with His Father. And I want you to know that's exactly what we have been redeemed not only from the kingdom of darkness, but we've been redeemed into the kingdom of his dear Son. And part of what we've been redeemed into is fellowship with the Father, oneness with him, in union with Him. And we're living life from that place of oneness. We're conduct this life not from our own ability, but from that union with Him. Listen. People would look at Jesus earthly life and ministry and say, well, all of that, all that was produced, the healings, the miracles, the deliverances, the teachings, the revelation, all that was produced through him came because he was a Son of God. Yes, he was a Son of God. But you have to remember that the Word says this, that he laid aside his glory and his virtue when he came to earth. So he came as a man. That's why he had to be anointed. Because it was the anointing that came upon him when he was baptized in the River Jordan by John the Baptist. And the anointing came upon him. And that was the empowerment to carry out his earthly assignment. But He. He flowed and fulfilled that earthly assignment from that place of fellowship and oneness and union with His Father. He. He constantly pointed back to the Father in me. He does the works, the words that I hear. I only say what I hear my Father say. I only do what I see My Father do. He constantly verbalized His. His total dependence and reliance upon His Father. Well, I want you to know we have been raised and seated with Christ at the right hand of the Father. And we have been raised and seated in a place of union with our Father. We had that exact same position that Jesus occupied. Every miracle and every answered prayer and every divine power that flowed from Jesus, it flowed from his awareness that he and His Father were one. Jesus was not trying to struggle to manifest miracles, manifest healings. He was simply yielding to the Father within Him because he said, my Father in Me, he does the works. Well, it's the same thing for you and me. The plan of God that He authored for us, for our lives. He did not give us that plan in intending that we struggle to make it work, but he authored a plan for our life. And because he intended to fulfill that plan through us. How does he do that? Well, when we were born again, we were made new creatures in Christ. And we are. We are filled with Him. Why? Because we are in Christ. Christ is in us. And when we have, we have everything. And everything that Jesus revealed of the Father was to bless humanity. And I want you to know that every, every day of our life is to be a blessing to humanity. Not because we are much, but because that of the much of the One who is in us. We're making much of Him. Not just much of us, but much of Him. Listen, there was no struggle or separation that Jesus carried in his mindset. He knew him and the Father were one. He wasn't trying to reach God. He was revealing God. And I want you to know we're not trying to reach God. We're revealing him who is within us. This is why it's so important for us to discover what it means to be in Christ and that Christ is in us. He is our righteousness. He is our wisdom. God is the strength of our life. And we're simply drawing on and yielding to the Greater One who's on the inside of us. Listen, we have been blessed with everything that heaven itself enjoys. But now we're being skillful at yielding to and responding to the One who's within. How do we respond to Him? We obey him that as we obey him, then we are opening the way for the Greater One that abides within us to fulfill his, his plan through us. The same Spirit that dwelt in Jesus dwells in us. Romans chapter 8 in verse 11 says this. But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, look at that. The same Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in us. We aren't reaching out for something. We're releasing the Greater One who's on the inside of us. We're yielding to Him. We're allowing him to manifest and flow through us. The power of the Spirit flows when our words are aligned with the truth of God's word and with our new nature. Listen, we are new creatures in Christ. Don't fall to the condemnation, the guilt, the deceit that the enemy tries to put upon us by trying to make us feel guilty for our past living under a sense of condemnation. Because the blood of Jesus cleansed us. And it is though our past never even happened. You know what happened to the old man, the man who was before we were in Christ. You know God did not try to improve upon the old man. God did not try to repair the old man. You know what he did to our old man, which was who we were before we were born again. He nailed the old man to the cross that when Jesus was crucified, we were crucified. When he was buried, that old sin nature that we used to have dominating us, it was buried with Him. But when he was raised, we were raised as new creatures in Christ. And at the new birth, we accepted that. And so now we are new creatures in Christ. It's as though we never have missed it, because the blood puts it back, as though we never missed it. And we're to move with God, allowing Him to flow and manifest through us, not with any taint of a guilt or shame of the past, of wrong decisions, of wrong moves, because the blood of Jesus has cleansed us of all that. And now we're to be in him minded instead of in failure, minded instead of in condemnation minded. The devil's always trying to draw us away from the mindfulness of who we are in Him. He's trying to make us mindful of who we were apart from Him. Even when we. Even after we were born again, if we went a wrong direction, we made wrong decisions, we did that apart from him. We didn't go the wrong direction following him, we went the wrong direction following us. But I want you to know, even when we recognize that, repent of that, that Jesus cleanses us from all of that. And we're not allow the devil to remind us and to, if I could say this, dog us and put us under a sense of condemnation because we missed it. Because the blood of Jesus, as I said, it puts it back as though we never missed it. So we're free to move forward in our union with God and to see ourselves as one with Him. But many stumble when they look at their failures, their weaknesses and their faults instead of. Instead of accepting what's already been done in them. Because they are in Christ. They are new creatures in Christ. You're a new creature in Christ. This is what we need to focus on. Don't focus on trying to cope with the old man. All the old man was worthy of was being crucified and buried. And we don't refer to him as being anything that we live with anymore. We are new creatures in Christ and we got a brand new start in this life. We have been brought into the Father's presence by Jesus because Jesus made us righteous. We belong at the throne. We're children of the throne. God is our Father and we are his children. And we are. We are making that. He has made his presence our home. And we're to live acknowledging that and to live mindful of that. Our standing with God is not a Reward for good works. Our standing with God is a position that Jesus purchased for us. So we're not trying to earn anything of his presence. It belongs to us because we are made one with Him. Listen, know this, that the Father doesn't hear Jesus any better than he hears us. Because we have been, we are co heirs with Jesus. Everything that belongs to him belongs to us. And that belonging includes the presence of the Father. We aren't trying to get something from God, but fullness of him is our starting place. The Greater One abides on the inside of us and we're living from that place of being filled with Him. We stop trying to get heaven to come down, but we realize the kingdom of God is within us. Jesus said the kingdom of God is within you and he works from within us. I want you to know God deals with our lives from the inside out, not the outside in. And this is what condemnation tries to do. It tries to get us to fix ourselves from the outside. I want you to know God deals with us from the inside. And when he deals with us, it fixes the outside. We don't have to try to fix ourself because we have the life of the Greater One on the inside of us. And he is bringing us into the highest flow that belongs to us. Jesus was constantly aware of his oneness with the Father. That's why we say no to condemnation. Because it robs us of the awareness of our Father. Jesus was aware of the oneness and his union with the Father. So his words demonstrated the power of that union. I want you to know power flows out of our union with God. And we are to our lives are to be a demonstration of that power. Because of our union, grace has been given to us. That same has given to us. That same union through the new birth. I want you to know everything that grace has enabled us to do it belongs to us because we belong to Christ. We are new creatures in Christ. And grace is the flow of the new creature in Christ. And faith is how we move with that grace. Grace is God's side, but faith is our side. When we add our faith to his grace, we're living by his grace through our faith. Listen, we aren't trying to reach a far off God. We aren't trying to feel near to Him. But we live in ongoing communion with the One on the inside because we know he already abides in us. Amen. We're not trying to get him to come. He is abiding in us and the way we are. To live is to live Free, fully aware. He's in me. The greater One is in Me. And know this. Anytime, any circumstances that try to trouble you or opposition that shows up, tries to trouble and trouble you in your life, just turn your awareness. The greater One is in me. And he's more than enough to put me over. He, in fact, has already put me over on the other side of any opposition because he already authored victory for Me. I want you to look at John chapter 15 in verse 7. Let's see how that reads. It says, Jesus was speaking and he said, if you abide in Me. Well, can I say this? If you're born again, you do abide in Him. So he said, if you abide in Me. But look at this next phrase. And My words abide in you. What's that mean? That we have to sow His Word into our heart. We have to sow the seed of that Word so that we can receive a harvest on that seed of His Word that we sow. So he says, if you abide in Me. We've already got that done. If we're born again. Now his words are to abide in us. Look at this. You shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. Notice the words abiding and asking and we'll recognize that the word abiding is mentioned before asking results with God. Don't start with asking results. Start with abiding. And when we're abiding, our asking is always effective. Our asking always bears fruit because it's from a place of oneness and union and mindfulness and awareness that my Father in Me, he's doing the works. Jesus words worked because he never stepped out of the awareness that he was abiding in His Father and that His Father was at one with Him. He lived from the awareness of God's presence. He didn't try to reach God's presence. He lived from the place of God's presence. He wasn't trying to arrive there. He was abiding there. I want you to know he is on the inside of you. We're not trying to get more of his presence. Listen, he's already in us. But what we are doing is feeding on the Word to realize all that his presence has made ours. Now, many reverse this. They pray trying to feel close to God, trying to get close to God instead of praying because they are the temple of God. Listen, we're praying because of the position we are in. We're not trying to get a position that we already occupy. Many seek his presence as though they're outside of his presence. Trying to reach it instead of recognizing it is our permanent dwelling place. All we have to do is to acknowledge he's in us. Now the Word tells us, draw nigh unto Me, and I will draw nigh unto you. He's talking about an awareness that if we will be more aware of him, we'll recognize how present he is in us and with us. Colossians chapter 1 and verse 27 says, this Christ in you the hope of glory. Listen, he's already in you. The same presence Jesus manifested is now in us. Abiding in the presence of God comes from this consciousness, this awareness of him, acknowledging Him. Now how do we manifest that presence that's on the inside of us? We respond. We yield to God. And how do we do that? We obey Him. We live in the presence of God by faith and obedience that he as. Because he's abiding on the inside of us, he will always give us something to obey. And when we obey him, then his power will manifest through us. Faith comes alive and prayer becomes a partnership when we become God inside minded. How important that is for us to develop this awareness. The greater ones in me, I want you to know. To worry is to forget God. To be troubled, to be in despair, is to forget the greater one that's on the inside of us. But what must we do? We must on purpose develop the awareness. Wait a minute. The greater one's in Me. The God, the God who created everything is on the inside of Me. That means there's absolutely no cause for worry, no cause for fear. Because I am safe with the One that's abiding in Me. When we become God inside minded, we stop begging and we start ruling and reigning over circumstances in life. And we declare what he has already said. We declare about ourselves what he has said about about us. That we are one with the Father, that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Why will no weapon formed against us prosper? Because it can't prosper against him that's on the inside of us. And because it can't prosper against him, we're filled with him and it can't prosper against us. Jesus never pleaded for things to happen. He simply released the Father's will with his authority. For the Father's power was in Him. And the. And the power of God's on the inside of you too. It's the same with us. We're not trying to get the Father to come down. We're not trying to get the Father to show up in our circumstance, but we allow him who is within us to flow out and have his way in the face of that circumstance. I want to remind us that when so much of the time when people face a situation, they turn this way trying to get God to do something. But I would say this. Turn this way, turn inward toward your spirit and recognize he's already in you. And because he's in you, every answer you need, every supply you need, every ability you're going to need in the face of that situation is all in you. When the Word tells us that we're to lay hands on the sick and they shall recover when we lay hands on the sick, it's not us trying to make something happen. It's Christ within us who is stretching out his hand, reaching forth his hand through us. We're to see ourselves as that way because that's what the Word reveals about us. We're not operating by human effort, but we're moving by divine partnership that he is. We are co laborers with him and he's doing the labor and we're co laboring alongside his labor by simply responding to Him. You know, mark chapter 16 in verse 17 says this. These signs shall follow them who believe. We're not trying to simply imitate Christ, but we're participating in his ongoing ministry through our union with Him. Redemption was not only to rescue us from sin, but it was to restore us to sonship. It was to restore us to that place that we hold now in the presence of our Father. He is our Father. We are his children. We are loved children of a love throne. I want you to know that God's realm is a love realm, and that is our realm. And in that flow of love is every answer we need for our life. And all we have to do is recognize that the greater one is on the inside of us. And it is love at work in us and through us and for us. God's plan wasn't to have one son walking in power, but a family of many sons moving in absolute union with Him. Think of it. God so longed to have a family. The way that Jesus faced the cross, it tells us in, in the book of Hebrews, chapter 12, it says he endured the cross because how did he do that? The he was looking on the other side of the cross. He was focused on the joy that was on the other side of the cross. What was that? Bringing many sons to glory. That's why he came. Because God wanted a family. And Jesus was the one who made that happen. Listen, God planned it Jesus purchased it. And it's the Holy Ghost who is leading us into that plan. And so we are being led by the Spirit in how to flow in union with our Father. Because we are one with Him. With him, the enemy tries to distract us all the time from our awareness with the union that we hold with the Father. He's trying to convince us that we're distant or that even worse, that we're unworthy of it. Then he can neutralize our authority and make us ineffective, causing us to step back from using it. But we recognize that we're not trying to get something of God's presence. We belong in the presence of God. We are children of the throne. The devil fears a believer who knows his union with God. The devil fears the believer who is a co laborer with God, obeying the commands of God, obeying what the word of God instructs us to do. Because he knows that his defeat is in our obedience. Listen, Jesus defeated the devil, but when we obey him, we are enforcing. When we obey God, we're enforcing the defeat of the devil in our life. And the devil doesn't want us to know that he is a defeated foe. And in our obedience we are enforcing his defeat. Every time we obey God, it's not our effort that gets results. It's our position. It's our place of oneness with Him. And it's our position that's in Christ. That's why it is so important that we recognize who we are in Christ and who he is in us. Ephesians 2, verse 6 tells us that we have been raised and seated with Christ. We not just praying toward heaven, but we speak from heaven. That raised and seated position which is our place of victory. Listen, Jesus didn't pray from the ground up, but he prayed from Heaven's perspective down. He brought heaven to earth. And we are to live with that exact same awareness. The Creator of the universe dwells in us. So when we face problems of life that show up, we are not overwhelmed because we know that we are indwelt. We are the temple of the Holy Ghost. The greater One dwells on the inside of us. And when we speak, we are speaking royal decrees from the throne of grace. Because we have been raised and seated in heavenly places with Christ. And listen, that's our authority. Jesus had results not because of divine favoritism, but because of divine fellowship. It's not that God did more through Jesus than He'll do through us. Jesus was not a favorite son in the sense of that he had more available to Him. We had the same thing available to us that Jesus had available to him because we are co heirs with him. And this union with the Father was the wellspring of Jesus operation of his authority. And we had the exact same position and the exact same authority. That same union is ours. It's not about us getting close to God, but it's about us living aware of him who is already in us. So what is our great joy? To begin to develop every day, moment by moment, living aware that he's on the inside of us. We don't get results because of our performance or out of emotion, but because of our position. We've been raised to a place of authority and when we speak and when we lay hands on the sick, that's from a place of authority and therefore we get results. We operate from a place of resting on the Greater One who's on the inside of us and not striving, trying to do something apart from Him. But we are living aware of the Greater One who's in us and we're acknowledging him and responding to him every day as we obey Him. Amen. Well, we're going to keep going along these lines next time and you don't want to miss it. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the Healer. God bless you.

Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
This episode centers on understanding the believer’s union with Christ—what it truly means to be “in Christ”—and the transformative implications of living from this position. Nancy Dufresne explores how this union empowers believers, frees them from condemnation, and enables them to live victorious, purpose-filled lives that manifest the presence and power of God.
“There’s enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one—that may be describing you... Power is present. That power is there to do a work.” (00:10)
“Everything that God planned for our life, he put in Christ and then he put Christ in us.” (01:15)
Vital Union Defined:
Drawing from Colossians 2:6, Nancy describes living in “vital union” as continuous fellowship with God—a privilege purchased by Jesus’ blood:
“The greatest thing we received in redemption is that we are one with the Father.” (02:15)
Jesus as Our Example:
Jesus’ earthly ministry was effective not because of innate divinity operating independently, but because of His conscious union with the Father:
“He was simply yielding to the Father within Him because he said, ‘My Father in Me, he does the works.’ … It’s the same thing for you and me.” (05:30)
Our Position:
Believers are seated with Christ at the right hand of the Father. This is not striving for God but living out of a shared authority and intimacy:
“We have been raised and seated in a place of union with our Father. … We had that exact same position that Jesus occupied.” (07:10)
New Creatures, Not Renovated Sinners:
God did not “improve” the old self but crucified and buried it; believers were resurrected as new creations:
“God did not try to improve upon the old man … He nailed the old man to the cross.” (11:00)
Living Free from Condemnation:
The enemy works to keep believers focused on past failures, but in Christ, all guilt is removed:
“The blood of Jesus cleansed us, and it is as though our past never even happened.” (12:30)
Practical Takeaway:
Focus not on coping with the old self or failures but on what has been made new in Christ.
Abiding Precedes Asking:
Quoting John 15:7, Nancy emphasizes that effective prayer and fruitfulness start with abiding in Christ:
“Don’t start with asking results. Start with abiding. And when we’re abiding, our asking is always effective.” (19:15)
God Deals from the Inside Out:
Authentic transformation flows from the Spirit within—believers don’t have to fix themselves externally.
“When we speak, we are speaking royal decrees from the throne of grace … that’s our authority.” (24:20)
“It’s not that God did more through Jesus than He’ll do through us. … We had the same thing available to us that Jesus had available to him.” (25:40)
“The greater One is in me. … There’s absolutely no cause for worry, no cause for fear.” (22:40)
“He’s already put me over on the other side of any opposition.” (21:40)
“When we obey God, we’re enforcing the defeat of the devil in our life.” (27:00)
On True Fellowship:
“We’re not trying to reach God. We’re revealing Him who is within us.” — Nancy Dufresne (08:20)
On Condemnation:
“The devil’s always trying to draw us away from the mindfulness of who we are in Him ... but the blood of Jesus, as I said, it puts it back as though we never missed it. So we’re free to move forward in our union with God.” (13:30)
On Authority:
“We’re not operating by human effort, but we’re moving by divine partnership...” (23:10)
On Our Seated Position:
“We not just praying toward heaven, but we speak from heaven. That raised and seated position which is our place of victory.” (25:05)
On Spiritual Family:
“God’s plan wasn’t to have one son walking in power, but a family of many sons moving in absolute union with Him.” (26:00)
Nancy finishes by encouraging continual awareness of God’s indwelling presence and to live boldly from the authority granted through Christ, reminding listeners:
“We are living aware of the Greater One who's in us and we're acknowledging him and responding to him every day as we obey Him.” (27:00)
