There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the healer. And just know this. It is one of the greatest honors and joy. It's such a great joy of my life to be able to take this time with you and to minister the Word to you, because it's the Word of God that takes our life and sets it on course. So thank you for joining us and being hungry to feed on the Word. Together, we are in the midst of a series that I am enjoying so very much. It's called In Christ I Can. And we're just basically talking about what it means to be in Christ and what belongs to us because we're in Christ and what we can do because we're in Christ and what God wants to do through us. We have to remember this, that the earthly life of Jesus was really him living the example life for us, that we can see what the new creature in Christ can produce and what it can look like when we see the life of Jesus. Because being born again, we are new creatures in Christ. Old things have passed away, all things have become new. And we are carriers of the life and the nature of God. Therefore, he is in us to. To fulfill his plan through us. Listen. God authored a plan for the life of each and every one of us. But he never left us to ourselves to try to fulfill it apart from Him. And when we're struggling, it's because we're trying to accomplish something apart from Him. But he filled us with Himself. He made us the dwelling place of the Holy Ghost so that he could fulfill his plan through us. So he authored his plan not just with us in mind, but with his ability in mind, his grace in mind, his provision in mind, because he was intending to do it through us. Now it's our great honor and privilege to become skillful at resting in him, that he's the one that brings it to pass. That doesn't mean we're inactive and don't do anything. And it requires our faith and it also requires our obedience. Because as we obey him, we're responding to how he's, how he's leading us and we're responding to let him work through us. And so we're just, we're teaching about these things and we're learning how to live the life that he authored for us. And again, it's just his, his life, his ability, working through us. And we're learning to acknowledge him more and more instead of just, you know, bare knuckling our way through, trying to make things happen. We're in Christ, he's in us, and that's for the fulfillment of God's plan. So we're learning this together. And it's such a joy to share this time with you because as we learn together, we can go further together. And one of the things that I want us to focus on in today's episode is I want to minister and teach about the sufficiency of, of the kingdom we belong to. You know, everything the Word tells us in Colossians that we have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness, translated into the kingdom of his dear Son. So we didn't just, we didn't just get the life of God on the inside of us at new birth. We got a whole new kingdom that we're a part of. And it's for while we're living on this earth that we're drawing on the kingdom. And know this, that Jesus said, the kingdom of God is within you. The kingdom of God is God's way of operating, his method of operating. And we don't, we don't want to have the mindset that our, the kingdom we belong to is not enough. I tell you, the kingdom of God that we belong to is more than enough for every single need that we're ever going to face in this life. And the kingdom we belong to is all sufficient so that we don't have to go the way of the world, we don't have to recline, rely on the world and on its system to live the best life. Because as we learn what God's kingdom has for us, how we can cooperate with the kingdom of God, draw on the kingdom of God that's within us, that we recognize that the kingdom that we are a part of is more than enough for everything we're going to face in this life. I want us to go first to Our golden verse that we've been using in this series, and that's Colossians chapter two and verse nine. And this is the living Bible translation. And it says this. For in Christ there is all of God in a human body. And when he's talking about that human body, whose human body, Jesus took on flesh. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. So for in Christ there is all of God in a human body. Verse 10 says so you have everything when you have Christ. And you are filled with God through your union with Christ. He is the highest ruler and authority over every other power. Well, what every other power is he talking about? What about this? The power of sickness, the power of disease, the power of lack, any anything that the enemy would try to work against us. That the highest ruler that is over our life has authority over every other power. Every other power is a lesser power. And I want you to see this word that we see in verse 10. We have everything when we have Christ, that's huge. That means that everything we need for this life, everything that we need in eternity, that the kingdom of God that we belong to is sufficient and more than sufficient to supply everything that we need. Everything that God dreamed for us to have, everything that God planned for us to have, he provided for us. And he put that provision in Christ. Then he put Christ in us and us in Christ. So I say it this way. Christ is the treasure box that holds all of the provision of God. And we not only have Christ in us, we have the inheritance. We are co heirs with Jesus. Why is that? Because we have an inheritance. And in Christ we become partakers of that inheritance. I want us to see. We're going to look through several different verses in this episode today. And the next one I want us to go to is 1 Corinthians 3:21. And I'm going to read that passage out of the Living Bible translation. And I would say this. Get your Bible and follow along with us and get something to take notes on, because we don't anything that God may say to you. We don't want you to let that slip. But again, First Corinthians 3, verse 21, the Living Bible translation says this. It says, don't be proud of following the wise men of this world, for God has already given you everything you need. Look, listen to that. That is loaded. God has already given you everything you need. Now this is going to change the way we pray. This is going to change the way we talk. This is going to change the way we believe. When we approach circumstance in life and every need in life, and we remember this, and we declare this, I already have everything I need to meet this situation, to meet this circumstance, to meet this need. And instead of, oh God, send something, oh God, do something, no, it's us remember something. And we're to remember that God has already given us everything we need. Then let's read on. In verse 22 of that passage, we it says this. He has given you Paul and Apollos and Peter as your helpers. Now look at this. He starts. He says he's given us everything that we need. And then he listed three men who were voices into the life of the Corinthian Church. And he's listing the names of men. So what in this everything that God has given us. What? What does this include? He's given us men who know God. He's given us men in our generation. Yes, we have the men that penned the New Testament and we can read and follow along absolutely what they received, the revelation they received and wrote it down for our benefit. But not only that God has men today. Not just men who lived in past generations, but men today filled with the Word, filled with the Holy Ghost and sent to us. And what are they? Paul in writing this says in verse 22 again that God has given you Paul and Apollos and Peter as your helpers. So really, men of God are helpers to us to help us to grow spiritually, to help us develop, to help us to learn how to move with God. Help us how to receive from God, help us how to be skillful with what belongs to us in Christ. So isn't it wonderful that God didn't just hand you a Bible and then say, here, hope you learn it. No, he gave us men, us pastors. He gave us those in those fivefold ministry offices to help us. And I want to say this in writing this. Paul singled out himself, Apollos and Peter that were given to that Corinthian church as their helpers. So he's letting them know God has assigned and he has anointed certain men that are divine connections for that Corinthian Church. Well, I want you to know that God will give you divine connections, men who he has ordained and anointed to speak into your life and thank God for the whole body of Christ. I so honor and love the whole body of Christ. But I know this, that God has sent particular ones where I fit. Do you know? We all fit in the body of Christ. But I know this, the hand doesn't fit anywhere else but at the wrist. And so what's that mean? Just because the hand is part of the body doesn't mean that it just fits anywhere in the body. Well, we don't just fit anywhere in the body. The Word tells us that God set us in the body as it pleased him. He knows where we fit, and he knows those who are anointed to speak into our life when we're where we fit. And we listen to those who fit in our life. And those are what I call divine connections, divine associations. We see it all through Scripture. We see this with Moses. He had men who fit with him. And I can name two of them specifically with Joshua and Caleb. How they fit. Not only that, he had 70 elders that he had laid hands on, and the spirit of wisdom that was on him began to operate in them. So it wasn't just any men that fit with Moses. He had millions in his congregation of Hebrews that were traveling to the promised land. But there were 70 particular ones that helped him administrate and run the things concerning that congregation. But then there were two who worked closely with him, Joshua and Caleb. So what's that mean? We need to know who are the voices that God has given us to help us in our spiritual growth and development. And first and foremost is going to be your pastor. That God will give you a pastor. He will lead you to a pastor and direct you to a pastor that will help feed your. Your spiritual life and help your. And in speeding your spiritual life, it's going to affect your physical life, your mental life, every arena of life. And so we see this, that when God has given us everything we need, he didn't leave out men that were full of the Word and full of the Spirit. He has given us those to speak into our life. Now, number one, as I said, it's up to us to recognize those divine connections in our life, those divine associations. Timothy recognized that in Paul. He became a student of Paul. He recognized that although there were many preachers in his day, he knew exactly who it was that God had connected him with. You need to know who God has connected you with, because where God connects you is where you will fit and where they will be anointed to help you in a way that's very particular to you. And so, number one, that begins with your pastor. And so always follow God on where he leads you to go to church, because you need a pastor, you need a local church, and you need to plug in there and bring a supply. And as you know who the divine voices are in your life, then what happens? You're going to receive divine help through them. Again, I want you to look at verse 22. It says, God has given you Paul and Apollos and Peter as your helpers. Listen, when God gives you someone to help you, that's heaven's help in your life. That is God. He's really catering to the needs of your life and giving you special help to get those needs met. And these helpers are divine because they are anointed by God. They're appointed by God that he sends into your life to assist you in this spiritual life that you're growing and developing in. And then Paul makes another statement. In verse 22, he said, God has given you. Look at this. The whole world to use and life and even death are your servants. He has given you all of the present and all of the future. All are yours. And then verse 23 says, and you belong to Christ and Christ is God's. Listen, When a pastor is standing before you as your helper, know this. He doesn't belong to himself anymore. He belongs to you. So when you go to church, you need to go expecting to hear from your divine help, from your pastor, because God has given to, given him to you as a gift that he belongs to you. And the more you honor that gift, the more you make yourself a student to that, to that man of God. You're going to receive more from them so that you draw out of their office, you draw out of their giftings, and you draw the help and the solutions that you need for your life. You know, someone asked dad Hagin, who was our spiritual father for decades. Someone said, what to what do you attribute the success of a pastor? And one of the things that dad Hagin said, he says that means that you just have. You have ready answers for the needs of the people. You know how to help the people. You direct them to their answer in the Word. And I want you to know that when you attend church and you sit under your pastor that you are receiving divine help, divine assistance. And you need to draw on that gift and recognize this is not just any man standing in a pulpit. This is a man that holds in his mouth and carries in his words the answers I need for my life. And if you will honor him as such, you'll receive so much more. I've seen this and I've done this in 25 years of pastoring, I would be preaching a certain topic. Maybe I'm preaching on healing, or maybe I'm preaching on faith. And in preaching, I would go, let me take a little bit of a turn here, a side road. And I would start all of a sudden talking about something with a family or something with finances. And I would just give a bit of a short teaching, a bit of a short instruction on a different direction. Then I'd get right back on my sermon. What was I doing? Someone in that congregation needed an answer and I just veered off by the leading of the Holy Ghost and I supplied their answer, then got right back onto my sermon. What is that? That people were receiving their divine help through that gifting of the pastoral office and that pastoral anointing. So I want to also look first Corinthians 4, 1, and this is the living Bible translation. Now this is in connection with that verse that we read in 1st Corinthians 3. But this is 1 Corinthians 4, verse 1. And Paul said this. So Apollos and I should be looked upon as Christ's servants who distribute God's blessings by explaining God's secrets. Look at that verse. That when you are sitting under your pastor, when you're sitting under someone that God has put as a voice into your life that you should look, it matters how you look upon them, that if you just see them as your buddy, you're not going to receive the same. I want you to know that you don't need another buddy in life. You need a pastor in life. You need somebody in your life who speaks the answers of God and into your life and into your situations. So it matters that we look upon the pastors and those divine voices in our life and we say they are Christ's servants and they are distributing. Look at this. Wording God's blessings by explaining God's secrets. Do you know, thank God we have the Holy Ghost who's on the inside of us. He is our divine teacher. Absolutely. He is our helper. The Word calls him our helper. But God has also given us men filled with the Word and filled with Himself so that we can be helped through the giftings of these men. But there again, it matters how we look upon them. If we look upon them as speaking God's answers into our life, that means we're not going to be negligent about how often we attend church. We recognize we're going to get where we ought to be so that we can receive our divine help through the office of the pastor and through those divine connections in our life. But I want us to go back and let's look again at 1 Corinthians 3. We were in that passage, let's again start in verse 22. This is the living Bible Translation and Paul is writing and he says, for God has given you Paul and Apollos and Peter as your helpers. He has given you the whole world to use. And life and even death are your servants. I want you to see this. He has given you the whole world to use. He hasn't given the world to use you. It matters that you're not being used by the world for some other purpose than what you're born for. But anything of this world that is needed to fulfill the plan of God. God wants you to use all the resources of this world. Not because we're serving the world, but because we can use things to fulfill God's plan. Now think of it. When God told his people, he delivered them out of Egypt and they wandered for 40 years in the wilderness, well, they didn't need to wander, but they didn't stay in faith. They didn't build in them. What God said to them. God said to them, I have given you a land that flows with milk and honey. And when Moses sent 12 spies to look at that land, they came back and they said, yes, it's a land that. It's a good land. It flows with milk and honey. But notice what they said. There are giants in the land. You know, God didn't talk about the giants. The people talked about the giants. Why didn't God talk so much about them? Because they were no issue. When God was the one that was going to bring them into that land. The giants were not an issue. But the people, when they saw the giants, they became troubled by the giants because they thought that they had to deal with those giants themselves. God never intended that they deal with those giants themselves. They should have rejoiced when they saw the giants. You want to know why? Because giants live in giant houses. Giants have giant beds. Giants have giant resources. And I want you to know God was going to use the world. He was going to take what the giants had built and give it to his people. This is what Paul is saying, that God has given you the whole world to use. Why? That you're going to use it for blessing. You're going to use it for benefit. I know that this is one thing that I would say to my husband. My husband, he loved to build. He was a construction guy before he was born again. And so that love for construction was always in him. And thank God for it because he was able to build the church property we're on right now built the Buildings and other things that he built throughout his life in ministry. But one of the things I recognized that after my husband went home to be with the Lord, that there's still buildings that we need to have, there's still property that we need to acquire. And one of the things I've said to my sons is I said, I'm going to use the sinner's time to build the buildings, not my time. Now, there may be some things that God will direct. And God may say to me, I want you to build a certain building, and I'll do that. But if God doesn't tell me that I'm going to use the sinner's time to build my buildings, I'm going to turn them into my unpaid employees and I'm going to let them take their time, take their resources, take their energy. And that's one way that God redeems my time, is he uses others to do what they can do. And this is part of what is meant when Paul says, he has given you the whole world to use. Look at this. We're using the world, but the world's not using us. Why? Because we've been given authority in this earth. And we, We. It's at our command in the sense of anything in our realm, anything in our world that we can say. I claim that for the. For the. For the use of the kingdom. I claim that for the use of the gospel. And I also claim the time of sinners so that they can do things that causes. Causes my time to be saved. And so look, there is so much that belongs to us in the kingdom of God. And the kingdom of God is sufficient. And he tells us that he has given us the whole world to use. And look at this verse, verse 22, the last phrase Paul said. And life and even death are your servants. My goodness, what's that mean? That means life and death are at our command. We don't leave this earth until we say so, not at the command of sickness and disease. Sickness and disease is not to. Not to determine when we die. We choose. And people will fall into this phrase. Well, you know, when my time comes, you know, God. God has chosen a time for me to die. No, the Word tells us how we can lengthen our days. So what does that mean? That means that God has not set a time of how long we're to live, that if we'll be doers of the Word and we'll obey God in the plan of God for our life, that we end up lengthening our life and so our life can be lengthened. And I love something that there's one precious woman of God that her. Her and her husband were in ministry together, and he died when she was in her 50s. But she went on and lived another 40 years and the ministry grew so large under her. When she was 91 years old, she. She was in a room one day and she looked up and an angel was there. And she said to the angel, what have you come for? And he said, I've come to escort you to heaven, meaning that if you're ready to go, I'll escort you. And she said, no, I'm not ready to go. There's some other things I want to get done, so you're just going to have to wait. And that angel just stepped back out of the room and left the room and she lived another 40, excuse me, another four years. What was that? Life and death were at her command. Well, this is what the Word tells us that Paul said that even life and death are your servants that you determine. And we should be using our faith and we should be expecting that we are living out our life until we're satisfied. And then we don't leave. Until we decide to leave. We don't let sickness and disease decide we leave. We don't let pain shorten our desire to live. But it's at our command because all things are ours, including life and death. Well, these are part. These are things that are part of our inheritance in Christ and we're learning about it. And you don't want to miss next time. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the Healer. God bless you.

I want you to know that every single person in this world needs a Savior. And the greatest thing of all is that we have one. But this Savior must be welcomed. This Savior must be received. And it's so easy to receive Jesus as the Savior. The Word says that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. So right now do that with me. Say, Jesus, I receive you as my Savior. Come into my heart and be the Lord of my life and I'll live for you all the days of my life. God bless you.
In this episode of "Jesus the Healer," Nancy Dufresne continues her long-running series "In Christ I Can," focusing on understanding the sufficiency of the Kingdom of God for believers. She emphasizes what it means to be "in Christ," the completeness of our spiritual inheritance, and the divine connections God provides to help us walk out His plan. Nancy’s teaching centers on faith, spiritual authority, and recognizing the provision already made for us.
On God’s Power for Healing:
“There’s enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one... He’s already made it yours.” (00:10)
On the All-Sufficiency of Christ:
“You have everything when you have Christ. And you are filled with God through your union with Christ.” (05:05)
On Praying from Possession:
“When we approach circumstance... and every need in life... I already have everything I need to meet this situation, to meet this circumstance, to meet this need.” (08:15)
On Divine Connections:
“You need to know who God has connected you with, because where God connects you is where you will fit and where they will be anointed to help you in a way that’s very particular to you.” (13:40)
On Spiritual Leadership:
“Apollos and I should be looked upon as Christ’s servants who distribute God’s blessings by explaining God’s secrets.” (17:51)
On Dominion and Authority:
“He has given you the whole world to use. ... We’re using the world, but the world’s not using us. ... Anything in our world that we can say, I claim that for the use of the kingdom.” (21:15)
On Life and Death:
“We don’t leave this earth until we say so, not at the command of sickness and disease... life and death are at her command.” (26:03)
Nancy Dufresne’s teaching in this episode is warm, faith-filled, and encouraging. She gently but firmly exhorts Christians to recognize their inheritance in Christ, renew their thinking to align with what God has already provided, and honor the spiritual leaders He’s put in their paths for growth and guidance. Her stories and scriptural illustrations are practical, aiming to move listeners from passivity or striving into confident, obedient partnership with God’s Spirit. The underlying tone is empowering—reminding believers of their authority, divine help, and sufficiency in Christ for every need.
This episode is ideal for any Christian seeking a deeper understanding of their spiritual inheritance, the all-sufficiency found in Christ, and the value of spiritual mentorship. Nancy’s practical applications and scriptural grounding offer both inspiration and actionable steps to live more fully in what God has already provided.
