There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

I receive it right now.

From the top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the healer. And we're going to continue in this series that we've been on called In Christ I Can. And on the previous episode, we were talking about that the kingdom we belong to is all sufficient, that we shouldn't have to go to the world's ways to have our needs supplied and have our needs met. And I want you to know how God leads us is more than enough for every need that we're gonna face. We started by looking Colossians, chapter 2, verse 9. This is the living Bible translation. And this has been our golden text throughout this series. And it reads, for in Christ, there is all of God in a human body. So you have everything when you have Christ. Listen to that. You have everything when you have Christ. That's going to change the way we pray. That's going to change the way we have conversations with our spouses. That's going to change how pastors present something to their congregation when they need a new building, they need a new property. That we're going to approach is, wait, we already have it. Where do we have it? It's in Christ. And by faith, we're going to lay hold of and draw into this realm everything that is ours in Christ. As a pastor, God has given me all the buildings I need, and he put them in Christ. All the properties I need, he put them in Christ. All the resources, all the supplies that I need, and he put them in Christ. For a Christian, for every believer, there's all the home you're going to need, all the businesses you're going to need, all the customers you're going to need, and he put all the provision in Christ. And so it's just waiting for our faith to show up and dive into that treasure box of heaven called in Christ, and we just receive and draw on it. Look at how it says in verse 10, you have everything. And we could already say, we could say it this way. You already have everything when you have Christ. So that means that as we discover who we are in Christ and we've live from that in Christ life, then what happens? Everything is at our disposal. All the resources, all the supply, all the finances, everything we need. And with our faith, we lay hold of it. And that's what transfers it into this realm. The power of God transfers into this realm what's been stored up in Christ when we exercise our faith. And so again in verse 10, Paul. Paul says, so you have everything when you have Christ, and you are filled with God through your union with Christ. Know this, you're in union with him, so that you're never to do anything apart from him again. Everything, every step we make, every direction we go is to be acknowledging him, drawing on him in union with with Him. And every test you face is not to be faced without him, but as one in union with Him. Amen. Doing this together. And so you're authorized that when you're faced with the test, say, father, I thank you that I have you in this test. Not just difficulties, not just oppositions that are in this test. I have you in this test. And together we will walk out the victory that already belongs to us. Amen. And then I want us to look at 1 Corinthians chapter 3 and verse 21. This is the living Bible translation. Now, on the previous episode, we started with this verse. And so we want you to go back and watch that one so that you can hear all that was said. But I do want to refer to it and go further today. First Corinthians 3, 21, the Living Bible translation says, so don't be proud of following the wise men of this world, for God has already given you everything you need. You know, what does faith say? Faith says, I already have everything I need because God has already given it to me. Where did he give it? If you say, it hasn't shown up in my life, he put it in Christ. And what we are to do is to use our faith to draw out of that treasure box, the treasure box of Christ. Amen. And it says in verse 22, it says, he has given you Paul and Apollos and Peter, and as your helpers. Now, here, here, he's referring to men who are voices into that church in Corinth. Well, I want you to know God's given you men who are filled with the word filled with the Holy Ghost so that they become your helpers in your spiritual walk. So that every single of your. Every single arena of your life is watered and increased. So he said he has given you Paul and Apollos and Peter as your helpers. So let me go. I want to back up though to the. To verse 21 when it says, God has already given you everything you need. Then in the next verse he starts listing men. You need men. You need someone that God has anointed. God has filled with himself and sent to be a help in your life. Do you know that really your success is connected to another man because you have to be a student to somebody. You know, Paul talks about having a spiritual father. Paul was a spiritual father to Timothy. What's that mean? This is not a legalistic thing that people get caught up on titles. It's. It's a place of fellowship that you come into, a place of. Of receiving from your pastor. Number one, that pastor is to be the voice into your life that's teaching the word of God to you and being a helper to you. So in all that you have, all that you've been supplied with in the kingdom, God has given us men that help us to know God better. And then he goes on and he says in verse 22, God has given you the whole world to use. Now look at this. God has not given the world to use you, you're to use the world. Why is that? You say, well, I don't want anything of this world's goods. Well, let me say this. The Word tells us that Satan is the God of this world. But everything that's in the world doesn't belong to Satan. What? Why? The Bible tells us God has given the earth to the children of men. It says that the cattle on a thousand hills belong to the Lord. So if you think that everything in this world belongs to the devil, you're thinking wrong. Let's say it this way. This will help clear this up. When it says, Satan is the God of this world. Let's say it this way. Satan is the God of this world's system, but the earth belongs to God. And God has given us authority, authority in this earth. And so everything that is here is. God put everything good on this earth for him and his children to use, not for the devil and his children to use. God has given it so that his children would always have everything we need. So everything in this world is not bad. That means that we are not to be dominated by this world system, but everything that's in this world. We're to fulfill the plan of God with the world's not to use us, but we are in command and we are to have authority of over the things in our world that we have need of. And that's exactly what God was doing when he gave the promised land to his children. When he delivered the Hebrews out of Egypt. He says, I've given you a land that flows with milk and honey. And what was happening on that land? There were giants living there. They were building up that land, they were developing that land, they were cultivating that land. And who were they doing it for? For God's people. So that when God's people showed up, they walked into a ready made land. And that's how we are to use this world for God's system. And I was saying it on the previous episode, one of the things I believe in is use the sinner's time to build the buildings, use the center's time to build the house, redeem our time so that we can do other things that God has for us. There's nothing wrong with building a building. I mean, God has told my husband and I to build buildings. But there are some things that I've, I've, I'm okay with letting the world, letting the world build it and save me the time from building it. And everything that that God has put in this world is to be used for good. And the devil's taken it and his children have taken it to use it for evil. Well, here it says that God has given us the whole world to use. Not for the world to use us, but us to use the things of this world for God's glory and to further God's plan in the earth. So it says, he has given you the whole world to use. And in verse 22 it says this and life and even death are your servants. What does that mean? We're in command. We don't let sickness and disease decide when we die. We choose. And we are not to buy into the system that the way that the sinner's life ends, that's not how we're to end. We choose when we go. We go when we're satisfied, when we have fulfilled all that God has put in our heart and we are in command of life and death. Sickness and disease is not to be in command. Amen. And then it goes on and it says, he has given you all of the present and all of the future. All are yours and you belong to Christ and Christ is God's. My goodness that passage is just loaded telling us that everything that's in our command, everything of God's kingdom and everything of this world. I mean we live in a kingdom, we belong to a kingdom that is all sufficient that we don't have to go to lower flows of this world to have our needs met. God has provided everything for us in abundance. I want us to go see what is written in two Peter 1:2 and I'm going to read this out of the King James translation, 2 Peter chapter 1, verse 2. And what I'm doing in reading through these verses, I'm just showing and demonstrating how the Word tells us how sufficient everything for our life is in the kingdom of God. So 2 Peter 1:2 says, Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. Now let me just say this real quickly. If you say I'm struggling, I'm troubled in my mind, I don't have peace. Can I tell you how to increase your peace? The peace of God belongs to you. Jesus left. His peace is your inheritance. It is part of our inheritance in Christ. But peace grows. What's that mean? We become more skillful in the flow of peace and we can be operating at a greater measure of peace. How are we going to do that? This verse tells us that as our knowledge grows, as we gain greater knowledge of the Word, then we come into a greater flow of the peace of God. Then verse three says this according as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness. Notice this. Nothing's been left out that we're going to need for this life and to live a life in God. We are not left short. There is all sufficiency with the kingdom that we belong to. Listen, the Bible tells us that we have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness. Translated into the kingdom of his dear Son. We have changed kingdoms and in the kingdom that we belong to, we're to be kingdom minded that everything of that kingdom is sufficient for our lives, that we shouldn't be doing without. We shouldn't be living in struggle, we shouldn't be living in crisis, we shouldn't be having needs unmet. Why? These verses show us he has given us all things already. He's already given it to us all things that pertain unto life and godliness. That means we need to not be okay with having than every need fully supplied. It goes on in this verse and it says, his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness. Look at this through the knowledge of him that has called us glory and virtue. So how do we partake of all things that pertain to life and godliness? We have to grow in knowledge. We have to learn that in Christ is everything that we need. And we draw by faith out of the treasure box of Christ, and we will never have any need unmet, unsupplied. Then verse four says this whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises. I like this word exceeding. Why is that? Because the exceeding great and precious promises exceed any opposition, any troubling circumstance, any need. We have promises that greatly exceed any need that we're going to face that we should never just be barely getting by, hardly having enough. No, we have an exceeding great and precious promises that we're to draw on that by these we might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. So know this, that we are to partake, to become partakers of the divine nature. Listen, the life of God is on the inside of us. Eternal life is in us. And with that life comes supplied everything we need for this life and notice it's up to us to partake of it. We are co heirs with Jesus. Everything we need has been supplied to us. But although we currently possess it, we have to become partakers of what we possess. You know, people will say, well, Pastor Nancy, you say that I possess everything. My life doesn't look like I possess everything. Well, you can possess things you're not partaking of. And God put in Christ is all the possessions you need for this life in godliness. But we have to partake of it by faith. And then look at this. It says, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. So notice this. We're not to live troubled lives, but we have a way of escape. And what we see happen to those around us, we recognize that's not our future. You know, I was. I've been in the traveling ministry. My goodness, I've traveled off and on now for over 40 years. And I was sitting on a commercial flight one day, and there was a woman sitting behind me. And I don't know if she was traveling with a friend or if the person she was sitting next to was a stranger. And she was kind of updating them about her life. But for four hours we flew from California to Florida. And for over four hours, this woman behind me was talking, and she was talking at such a volume that I could hear and probably everyone else around could hear. And for the Next four hours, I heard such. Such tragic conversation. I mean, she talked about how her child had taken her, and he was in his early 20s. He had taken her car and he had wrecked it. And the wreck was so bad it left him to where he was completely paralyzed. She had then lost her house, she lost her husband. And for the next four hours she talked about the tragedy in one tragedy after another, after another after another. And as I sat and listened to the life story of the unsaved, I thought it demonstrates to me how kept we are by the power of God. And what's that? And that's exactly what this said, that we, having escaped the corruption that is in the world to thank God. The things that happen to the sinners in the world should not be happening to us. And the thing is, we're to go tell them. The things that you're living in, you don't have to live in. There's an escape from all the corruption that's in the world because our kingdom is sufficient. And it's far more sufficient than any need that we'll ever face. Then I want us to look at 2 Corinthians, chapter 9 and verse 8. This is the King James translation, and it says, and God is able to make all grace. Look at this. All grace abound toward you. So what's this mean? Never without the grace that we need, that God is. Makes sure that we have all grace that abounds toward us, we need to set our faith on that. Say, I receive all grace that God has put in my direction. I receive it. Therefore I have all the grace I need today. I have all the grace for every situation and every demand of life that is put. I have the grace of God that I live by. And then it says this, that you look at these next two words, always having. I just like that phrase, me always having. And if people talk about, well, I don't have this and I don't have that, why don't you say what the word says, that you face any need saying this? I always have what I always have. Look, the next two words. All sufficiency. That means that I'm not running out of anything. It's all sufficient supply for everything I everything I face. So again, let's read this verse. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you that you always having all sufficiency in all things may abound to every good work. So out of this abounding sufficiency, this all grace, this always having, that we're able to turn around and Bless every good work and be a part of every good work. Listen, God supplied us with all sufficiency that we always having for us. And to be generous with God never intended that the blessing of God only be enough for our life. The blessing of God is so rich and so abundant that belongs to us that it's more than enough for us. But it's also more than enough for us to be a blessing in those other places and where we're generous. Amen. Now I'm going to read 2 Corinthians 9, 8 out of the Amplified Classic translation and look at all the words that are heaped in this verse to show how sufficient our kingdom is. It says, and God is able to make all grace, every favor and earthly blessing come to you. Look at this in abundance, not barely enough, but in abundance. And you need to say this abundance is my flow. Abundance meets every single one of my needs. I have abundance that's flowing in the face of every circumstance and every situation. So God is able to make all grace, every favor and earthly blessing come to you in abundance so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need, be self sufficient, possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation. Look at this. Always and under all circumstances and whatever the need, be self sufficient, possessing enough to require no aid or support and be furnished in abundance. Do you know what? When my husband went home to be with the Lord in 2013, I was now living in what the world would call a single income home. But I refused to think that I had just a single income because I now have a heavenly husband. God says that he is the husband to the widow and I guarantee you I will not have a dumbed down version of a life because how could I settle for a less than version of living when I, under all circumstances, whatever the need, I'm self sufficient. You know, when my husband, when he went home to be with the Lord, I became responsible to complete some projects that needed to be finished to pay off those projects. And there were millions of dollars that we would need to finish all of that. And my dad was so sweet, he would call every day. I don't know if my mother knew that he was doing this, but he would call me every day and he said, baby, do you need any, do you need any money? Well, I mean really, I needed a lot of money to complete what I needed to finish out. And I said, no daddy, I have more than enough. And he would call me every day out of his generosity and out of his interest in me. But I knew this, that if I took the money from Daddy that that would weaken my faith. I did not want my faith to be weakened. And I wanted to be able to have a testimony to my FAI family that it was not someone else stepping in and rescuing me, but I was trusting God. And I want you to know that today we are debt free in this ministry. All eight of those, those large projects were completed in the year and they were paid off and then all of our properties got paid off and we were debt free. As I, as I, as I'm teaching you now, we are in that debt free flow and it is such a blessing. But if I would have gone to letting someone else be my leaning place, if I would have run to someone else for support. And can I tell you this, parents, if you've got older children and what I mean by older, I mean maybe in their late teens, early twenties, don't see yourself as their provider. You need to train and teach your children to believe God. You know, we do that even with our own, with our children, our grandchildren, we always made sure that they had what they need. But I would always say this, we are going to teach them how to use their faith too. Because I don't want somebody who's a leaner in life that they have to lean on someone else. Why I want to teach them to lean on this verse, lean on God. Know this, that they will always, under all circumstances and whatever the need, they'll be self sufficient. That they're not looking to some person or some government help. You know, those things might be okay for a time when we're growing and learning, but God never intended that somebody else have just pity on us because we didn't have the kind of faith in God to receive of the abundance that belongs to us. As I said, when someone's a baby Christian or when someone's coming through, you know, very difficult circumstances, God will send divine help because he'll bless us through the hands of men. But he's not sending others so that we can lean on others. He wants us to use our own faith and know that his supply, that the sufficiency of our kingdom is all sufficient and that there is more than enough for us no matter what the need is. Then I want us to look at Second Corinthians, chapter three and verse five, and this is the King James translation. It reads this. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God. Look at that. Our sufficiency is in Him. Our sufficiency is who we are in Christ and who Christ is in us. And we are of the kingdom of God. And in that kingdom is all sufficiency to care for his children, to care for his people. We don't have to go the way the world goes to have the sufficiency, because within our kingdom is all sufficiency. Now we need to build that into our speech. We need to develop our faith in that. And we can. Our lives can demonstrate that. Maybe not overnight, but as we understand and see what these verses say and we start adding our faith to them that applies to our finances, that the kingdom of God is sufficient for our finances. The kingdom of God is sufficient for our health and for our bodies. Our sufficiency is in Christ. And God put in Christ everything that we're going to need for this life. But we have to put a demand on that and we have to partake of that which we possess. Well, how do we do that? We use our faith that we say in Christ I have everything I need. So I with my faith I receive that supply for my life, that supply for my family, that supply for my business, that supply for my body, that supply for my home. And just know this. We have an all conquering king and we are part of an all conquering kingdom. And it's more than enough to provide every need. Amen. Well, you don't want to miss next time. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the Heaven. God bless you.

In this continuation of the series "In Christ I Can," Nancy Dufresne shares an empowering teaching on the all-sufficiency believers possess in Christ. She affirms that everything Christians need—whether provision, healing, wisdom, or victory—has already been supplied by God in Christ, and must be accessed by faith. Nancy draws from Colossians, 1 Corinthians, 2 Peter, and 2 Corinthians to illustrate the completeness and abundance available to every believer, emphasizing the necessity of growing in knowledge and faith to lay hold of spiritual inheritance. Practical stories, pastoral counsel, and strong faith declarations punctuate the episode.
Nancy opens by affirming: God's healing and miracle power are present everywhere, even in sick rooms and hospital beds (00:10).
“There’s enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one. You may be in a sick room ... Power is present. That power is there to do a work ... Say, I receive that power, I receive it right now.” – Nancy Dufresne (00:10)
Sums up the main episode theme: Every need is already supplied in Christ; believers must receive it by faith.
Colossians 2:9-10 (Living Bible):
“For in Christ, there is all of God in a human body. So you have everything when you have Christ.” (01:18)
Nancy explains this alters the way we pray, interact in marriage, and lead churches: We approach situations as if we already possess the answer, because we do in Christ (02:00).
“We already have it. Where do we have it? It’s in Christ. And by faith we’re going to lay hold of ... everything that is ours in Christ.” (02:15)
All resources—homes, buildings, businesses, provision—are “put in Christ”, waiting for faith to access and draw them out. (03:20)
The act of faith is key in the transfer of what has been stored in Christ into the natural realm (04:00).
Christians are never to do or face anything apart from Christ. Every trial is faced “in union with Him”—this empowers believers (05:30).
“Every test you face is not to be faced without him, but as one in union with Him. Amen. Doing this together.” (06:06)
Faith says, “I already have everything I need, because God has already given it to me … in Christ.” (07:05)
Drawing from 1 Corinthians 3:21-22, Nancy notes God gives anointed men and women as “helpers” to our spiritual walk (08:00).
Relationship to spiritual leadership and pastoral voices is essential—not for rigid titles, but for fellowship and growth (09:30).
“Your success is connected to another man because you have to be a student to somebody ... that pastor is to be the voice into your life ... being a helper to you.” (09:50)
God gives believers the world to use for His glory, not to be used by the world (11:00).
Clarifies a common misconception: While Satan is “the god of this world’s system”, the earth is the Lord’s; God’s people are to exercise authority over earthly resources (12:00).
Reference to the Hebrews entering the Promised Land: God used the labor of others (giants) for His people’s benefit—believers can use the resources developed by “the world” for God’s purposes (14:00).
2 Peter 1:2-4:
It’s essential to grow in the knowledge of the Word to partake of what has been supplied; faith and knowledge unlock spiritual resources (19:45).
“You can possess things you’re not partaking of. And God put in Christ … all the possessions you need for this life and godliness. But we have to partake of it by faith.” (21:20)
Believers “escape the corruption that is in the world”—the sad, tragic cycles of the unsaved do not belong to those in Christ, who are “kept by the power of God” (22:30).
Nancy teaches that God’s grace abounds, so believers “always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work” (24:01).
The Amplified emphasizes: always, under all circumstances, and whatever the need, believers are self-sufficient, requiring no aid or support, furnished in abundance (25:26).
Quote:
“The blessing of God is so rich and so abundant that belongs to us that it’s more than enough for us. But it’s also more than enough for us to be a blessing in those other places and where we’re generous.” (25:55)
“Don’t see yourself as their provider. You need to train and teach your children to believe God ... I want to teach them to lean on this verse, lean on God.” (28:41)
“Try to get something, but notice that he’s already made it yours.” (00:24)
“You can possess things you’re not partaking of.” (21:20)
“If people talk about, ‘Well, I don’t have this’, ... say what the word says, that you face any need saying this: I always have.” (24:25)
“The things that happen to the sinners in the world should not be happening to us … there’s an escape from all the corruption that’s in the world because our kingdom is sufficient.” (23:09)
“If I took the money from Daddy, that would weaken my faith ... I wanted to be able to have a testimony ... that I was trusting God.” (27:16)
Nancy’s tone throughout is upbeat, faith-focused, practical, and exhortative. She repeatedly uses declarations of faith and personal stories to drive home the reality of God’s abundance. The episode ends with an encouragement to believe and draw on what’s available in Christ, leaving the listener equipped to confess and act on their spiritual sufficiency.
Summary in One Sentence:
Nancy Dufresne teaches that every spiritual and natural need of the believer is already abundantly supplied in Christ, urging listeners to use their faith and knowledge of the Word to access and partake of God’s all-sufficient provision, live above the world’s limitations, and become channels of God’s generosity to others.
