There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

I receive it right now.

From the top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad to have you joining us today for Jesus the Healer. And we're continuing with our series called In Christ I Can. And it looks like we're not quite. But almost a year on the teaching of this subject. And I am so thrilled that the Holy Ghost has led us this way because it's meant so much for me. I mean, I hope it's been a. A help to so many. I. I've received a lot of testimonies of people who've said how this series has helped and blessed them. But I mean, it's, it's. It's fed me too. And I'm just so grateful that God is feeding us all. And I know it's not just for me, but I tell you it's a blessing and I so appreciate that. Go. Going this way. We have been looking in the previous episodes at this statement that really I've been making that the kingdom of God that we are a part of is all sufficient for every single need that we're going to face. The Word tells us that we have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness. We've been translated. Look at this. Into the kingdom of God's dear son. What's this? We changed kingdoms. And because we changed kingdoms, we came into the kingdom that is all sufficient. And I want you to know that we don't have to look outside of our kingdom for the supply of our life. We are of this kingdom. And there is far enough sufficiency to take care of all of God's people within that kingdom. Our sufficiency is. Is in Christ. God put everything that we need to fulfill his plan, that to have every need of this life supplied, he put it in Christ. And I say it this way, that Christ is our treasure box. And by faith we must draw out of that treasure box of who we are in Christ and who Christ is in us. Because that's the only way that we can fulfill what we're born for is we have to learn to draw on him and not just out of us and our own resources. Listen, there's not sufficiency in us to fulfill the plan of God. Our sufficiency is in Him. God authored a plan for your life, but God never intended you to endeavor to fulfill that plan apart from Him. But he filled you with Himself because He intends to fulfill that plan to through you as we learn to yield to him, respond to him, have faith and obey Him. Amen. So we have to learn to put a demand on who we are in Christ so that we expect that his ability and his power to flow to fulfill what we're born for. Listen, we've been looking in the last couple of episodes also about this phrase called Talking about the will and the Ways of God. Faith is not just interested in what is God's will, but faith is interested in what are the ways of God. How does he operate to bring his will to pass in our lives? You know, I was making this reference in a previous episode, but in pastoring for 25 years, there were. There were so many people that have been part of this church from its very beginnings. And they've stayed with this church and grown with this church. But there are times that you'll have someone that would come to the church, and this happens with every church. You know, someone is going through a great difficulty, a great need in their life. And so they might not have had a church before or been under a pastor. And at this time of great need, they'll show up at a church because they recognize only God can help me through this. And listen, God is so kind, he is so good that he certainly will help anyone that will allow him to. And so people would face a great need. They would come to the church, they would sit under the word, their life would come on course with what God had for them. Their need would get met and their need would get supplied. And then after the pressure was gone, after the crisis in their life had passed, then they quit showing up at church because they really wanted his will, which was a blessing. Whether it be prosperity, whether it be healing, whether it be some temporal need met. They really wanted his will, but they never stayed around long enough to learn his ways. I want you to know God will bless us with what he has, but we want to not just receive provision. We want to know the provider. We don't just want to Receive healing. We want to know the healer. And so this is where the real joy of life is, is in knowing the ways of God. How does he, how does he move? How does he operate? Because if we'll move when he's moving, we'll receive what he's got. And it's not just about knowing that his, his will for something, but how do we arrive at always receiving what, what his will contains for us? And so it's the will and the ways of God coupled together that ensures our success. It's not just knowing his will, but we must learn how does he move to bring, to pass his ways. For if we don't know his ways, his will will not come to pass as it ought to. His ways are outlined in the scripture so that his will becomes a reality in our life. So that's what we've been talking about in the most recent episode. And we're going to keep going this direction now. Dad Hagin, Kenneth E. Hagin, was a spiritual father to my husband and I for decades. And I don't know if you know his testimony, but he was born with an incurable heart condition. And the doctors told him that he was deformed throughout his entire chest cavity. That tubes and things within his chest didn't, they weren't in the right place. He said, for example, that when he would take a drink of water that he didn't feel it go down to his stomach, he'd feel it spread throughout his chest cavity. And he asked the doctor, why did that happen? And he said, because you're deformed. So throughout your chest cavity. Not only that, they said you have an incurable blood disease. Well, he thought, and he made one statement later, he said he thought it was something like leukemia. So he was given a death sentence. And they said that medically speaking, that no one in his condition had ever lived past the age of 15. Well, right before his 15th birthday, he was bedfast. And the day he ended up on his deathbed is the day he got born again. And it's quite a testimony. You need to search it out, the testimony of how he was born again, because it's quite spectacular what happened that day. But God began to teach him as a 15 year old on that deathbed, he began to teach him that he could be healed. But the first thing that God taught him before teaching him about healing, he said he taught him that you're going to have to break the worry habit in your life. And so God began dealing with him about the sin of worry. Why is that God was teaching him it was the will of God that he not live a worried life. What is worry? It's simply an outflow of fear. And so he began to learn what the Word said about living free from worry. And he committed to God that he, he would never worry again. So the first thing that God taught this young man on his deathbed was not healing. He taught him how to be free from the sin of worry. Now you think, well, if he needed to be healed, why did God teach him about how to live free from worry? First it's because if he would have healed him without him correcting that sin of worry, then worry would have robbed him of, of his healing. And so we have to know this is a way of God that we live free from worry. Because worry will rob us of so much. Why is that? Because worry is simply a symptom or an outflow of fear. And fear will rob everything from us. But as dad Hagin was laying on that deathbed and he began to see little bit of light in the word of God that there was healing available. And during this time, and I want to read a quote from dad Hagin, he said, during the time I was bedfast, the Holy Spirit kept trying to tell me that I could be healed. And he said, finally one day I heard something on the inside of me, that still small voice of the Holy Spirit said, you don't have to die at this early age. You can be healed. I answered back, well, if I can be healed, if I can be healed, I want to know how. I knew medical science couldn't do anything for me. So I asked the Lord, how can I be healed? And that same inward voice said, it's all in the book. Now look at that. He was learning that it was the will of God that he be healed. But he didn't know the way of God of how to receive that healing. And notice what the Spirit of God said to him. It's all in the book. That's why it's such a pleasure and such an honor for us to feed on the Word. Because in the Word we learn the will of God, but we also learn the ways of God, answers and help we need for everything in life. It's all in the book. And if we neglect the book, we neglect our help. If we neglect the book, we neglect our answer. God has no way of helping us apart from his book, apart from His Word. It's His Word that He has sent to be the answer for our lives. And so it's our privilege to seek it out and search it out and study it together. And let me say this. We're interested, aren't we? We're interested in learning how to cooperate with the will and the ways of God. And so that means we have to be interested in the book. We have to not neglect our help that comes through the Word of God. Because it can be frustrating to us to know that God wants us healed, but not know how to receive that healing. It can be frustrating for somebody to say, well, God's your provider, but not know how to receive from the provider. That's a frustration to us. It's like a. A man who's starving to death and he walks by a bakery and he sees all of these beautiful treats and delicacies sitting in the window, but he can't reach them. I want you to know, God is not just showing off what he can do without showing us how to actually partake of it. His will is like a window that's stocked showing us all that belongs to us. But his ways show us how to partake of what his will is for us. We can become more hungry when we see something we can't have. Well, we can have it by going to the Book. As we study the Word, we can find out what God has for us. Now, I want to say this to you. As you study the Word, go through the Word and begin to recognize. This verse tells shows me the will of God, but this verse shows me the way of God. And you might want to begin to note that in your Bible as you read. For example, let me show you what I mean. In 2 Peter 3:9, it says this. It is the will of God that none should perish, but that all come to repentance. Well, that shows it's his will, but that doesn't show how to be saved. But over in Acts 2:21, it says, Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. So that's the way. How? What? It's the will of God that everyone be saved. But the way of being saved is you call on the name of the Lord. That means you have to speak something that receives Him. You have to. And that can sound many different ways. You know, there are. There are different testimonies of ministers that I've heard that when they received Jesus as their Savior, that that was worded differently than someone else. You know, I remember one preacher that he gave his testimony that he was listening to a television evangelist and he heard that he could receive Jesus. And this one preacher, at the time of his salvation. He just his salvation. Prayer was what that man said. That's what I want. And he was born again at that. And then Sister Gloria Copeland said this. She said when she was born again, she said, jesus, take my life and do something with it. Well, see, all of that is. It's an open door, however we word it. But note this, we have to open the door. It's not enough to know that he will save us, or he wants to save us, or that he has already sent Jesus as the price to save us, but we have to, on our side, open the door. If I could say it this way, the door handle is on our side, not his side. And it can only be opened by us from within. So it's not enough to know for us that it's the will of God that none perish, but we also have to go on to. To learn the way of God of how to receive that salvation. Well, can I say this? When God shows us his will in his word, then what is the way of receiving his will? Number one, know this. It's by faith. That faith is the way of God, that we must develop our faith for in every single arena if we're going to receive the will of God in that arena. Now, when I say we have to develop our faith for every arena of God, what are the different arenas? Well, look. Look at this. What about healing? That's one arena of our life, our body another. What about prosperity? That's another arena. Well, what about the mind? What about our soul? That's another arena. What about our family, our relationship? What about our job, our business? What about our finances? All of these are different arenas of our life. And we're to know that the Word has something to say about all those arenas. It's the will of God that we not be sick. And if we are sick, it's the will of God that we receive healing. It's the will of God that we not have any need unmet. It's the will of God that we not have torment and depression in our soul, in our mind, but that we have a mind of peace. It's the will of God that our home be happy and healthy and that if it's not happy and healthy, that it be restored. You see, this is all the will of God. And I can tell you now, this is the will of God for all these arenas of life. And you can say, well, I'm glad about that, Pastor Nancy, but how do I arrive at that? Well, this is when we go to the Word and we have to find out what the Word says and by faith. Faith be a doer of the Word and receive what the Word shows us is the will of God. Now I want to if I could do this with you. Let's go through some things that are the will of God and we'll note the ways of God of how that's to happen. Now the Word has said this to us. It is the will of God that we come to the knowledge of the truth. How many of you know God wants us to to know truth? If we don't know truth, then we're ignorant of how God operates. We're ignorant of what God has for us. And how many of you know that? Hosea, chapter four, verse six. God declares. He says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Notice that the devil's not even mentioned in that. Just living ignorant of how God thinks, how God want what God wants for us and the ways of God. If we're ignorant about that, then we're not going to. We're not going to partake of the blessings as God wants us to. So it's the will of God that we run ignorance out. How do we run ignorance out? We gain knowledge of the Word. So it's the will of God that we come to the knowledge of the truth. Well, how are we going to come to the knowledge of the truth? Well, number one, the Word tells us in Joshua chapter one, verse eight. This book of the law shall not depart out of our mouth, but we shall meditate therein day and night, so that we may be careful to do according to all that's written therein. For then we'll make our way prosperous, then we'll have good success. So it's the will of God that we grow in the knowledge of the word. But Joshua 1:8 tells us how to that we put the Word in our mouth, we meditate on it day and night. We drive that truth down into our heart through meditation. Not only that, another way of God to gaining knowledge of God or knowledge of the Word is we need a pastor. Why? Because God has given us a pastor as a gift to help us come into the knowledge of the truth. So there are the ways that are discussed in, in the Word of God that help us to arrive at the will of God. So let's look at another will of God. Another that's the will of God is that we not have any need unmet. Amen. So God doesn't want any need of your life to be unmet. God says in Philippians 4:19, My God shall supply all your need according to his riches and glory by Christ Jesus. Then that is going to work for someone who's a giver. Why? Because that's the context that Philippians 4:19 is written therein. Now let's look at Psalm 23, verse 1. What's the very first verse of Psalm 23, verse 1 say? It says, the Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. What's this mean? He doesn't want us to have any need unmet that we have any lack in our life. That that's the will of God. But then you say, okay, it's the will of God that I not have any need unmet. That's his will. But Pastor Nancy, how do I arrive at that? Well, Mark 11:23, Mark 11:24 will tell us how to do that. Mark 11:23 says, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea, shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he Saith. Then Mark 11:24 says this. Therefore I say unto you what things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them. So these two verses tell us the ways of faith, the ways of God, so that we can arrive at our needs being met and how to get our desires met. Now Mark 11:23 tells us how to get rid of obstacles in our life, how to get rid of hindrances in our life, how to get rid of things that seem impassable in our life. It doesn't say climb a mountain. It says speak to the mountain. Another thing, it doesn't say talk about the mountain. It says talk to the mountain. Now that's another difficulty where people face so much of the time they're faced with a need and they're talking about their need instead of talking to the need. It says this, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, it doesn't say whosoever shall say about this mountain. So much of the time people's conversation is full of talking about the mountain instead of having words that talk to the mountain. So see, the will of God is that we not have impassable places in our life, that there not be mountains that we have to get past. We talk to it. The Word doesn't tell us that we have to climb mountains and get past difficulties. The Word tells us talk to things and have those things removed from our life. Well, that's the way of God. Mark 11:23. Then Mark 11:24 tells us how to get our desires met. So what things, soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them and you shall have them. God not only wants the mountains and the obstacles removed from your life, but he wants the desires of your heart to be met. So this ver. These verses tell us the ways of God of how to remove obstacles and how to have our desires met. Now, anytime that it's God's will that we receive from him anything that we need, well, how are we going to receive from God? Well, the way of that is believe. And faith is a way of God to move into the will of God. If we're to receive from God, we must go the way of faith. We can't go the way of worry, we can't go the way of complaint. We can't go the way of fear and think that we're going to arrive at the will of God. To arrive at the will of God of what he wants for our life and has provided for our life. We have to go the way of Faith. And Mark 11:23 and Mark 11:24 tell us some of the best instructions of the way of faith. We can't go the way of begging. We can't just go the way of falling apart and crying whenever a mountain, an obstacle's in front of us, when a desire is going unmet, these things are not the way of how to get there. Worry, crying, begging, fearing all of that. We have to go the way of faith. Then God has a plan for our life. The Word tells us that God has a plan for the life of each and every one of us. Well, how are we going to fulfill that plan? Well, number one, we have to hear the plan of God for our life. The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit will show us things to come. He'll show us what the will of God is, is for our life. But not Only that, Romans 8, 26 and 27 tell us that when we take time to pray in the spirit that the Holy Ghost is giving us words to pray out the will of God for our life. So it's not enough to say, well, I just want that to come to pass. No, the way of the will of God coming to pass involves our faith, but it also involves our prayer life. And the Holy Spirit will show us things to come so that we can move into not just the will of God, but the ways of God. Now what about prosperity? It's the will of God that we prosper. But what's the way of God? Well, number one, you have to Sow a seed. Number two, you have to take care of that seed. You have to water that seed with the word of God. You have to keep wrong things off your seed. Keep the pestilence off of it. Keep offense off of it. Keep unforgiveness off of it. Then number three, you have to harvest that seed. How do you harvest that seed? By faith. Well, how do you know when to harvest that seed? The Holy Ghost leading. He'll lead you when due season is. The Bible says that if you will faint, not that you'll arrive at due season. Well, the Holy Ghost knows when to put in that sickle, so to speak, to reap that harvest. So this is the ways of God of how to come into prosperity. Then there's this. The power of God operating in our life is the will of God. But how? What's the way of receiving of the power of God? Number one, you have to know that the power of God belongs to you. You have to know that the power of God is in you. Why? Because the Holy Ghost is in you and he is the power of God. You have to know that. You have to give that power action. Well, how do you give it action? You have to speak words of faith. You have to say, I believe in the power of God that's in me. I believe that the power of God that's in me is more than enough to meet this need that faces me. And I speak for the power of God that's in me to flow. See, by faith you have to know, number one, that you have the power of God. And number two, you have to release the power of God. And most people are waiting for God to send something when he's waiting for people to say something. Well, these are all things that we're talking about to have the will and the ways of God. Because we have a. We are part of a kingdom that is all sufficient. And it is our privilege and joy to learn not only the will of God, but the ways of God so that we can receive of the sufficiency of our kingdom. Amen. This all belongs to us in Christ. And we're learning and we're learning to live as rich as we are. Amen. Well, you don't want to miss next time. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

Episode 934 | In Christ I Can, Part 174
Date: January 29, 2026
Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
In this episode, Nancy Dufresne continues her long-running series "In Christ I Can," focusing on the sufficiency of the Kingdom of God and the crucial difference between knowing God's will and understanding His ways. She emphasizes practical ways believers can experience the fullness of what Christ offers—including healing, provision, peace, and purpose—by learning to draw from the treasure box of who Christ is in us. Through faith, meditation on the Word, and alignment with God's methods, listeners are encouraged to actively receive every spiritual blessing.
“We don't have to look outside of our kingdom for the supply of our life. There is far enough sufficiency to take care of all of God's people within that kingdom. Our sufficiency is in Christ.” (02:15, Nancy)
“They really wanted his will...but they never stayed around long enough to learn his ways. We don’t just want to receive healing. We want to know the healer.” (06:45, Nancy)
“If he would have healed him without him correcting that sin of worry, then worry would have robbed him of, of his healing.” (11:35, Nancy)
"God is not just showing off what he can do without showing us how to actually partake of it. His will is like a window...but his ways show us how to partake of what his will is for us." (16:25, Nancy)
"The door handle is on our side, not his side. And it can only be opened by us from within." (19:52, Nancy)
"People’s conversation is full of talking about the mountain instead of having words that talk to the mountain." (26:42, Nancy)
"This all belongs to us in Christ. And we’re learning to live as rich as we are." (27:03, Nancy)
“Our sufficiency is in Him. God authored a plan for your life, but God never intended you to endeavor to fulfill that plan apart from Him.” (03:00, Nancy)
“We don't just want to receive provision. We want to know the provider.” (07:18, Nancy)
“It's all in the book.” (13:47, Nancy, quoting Kenneth E. Hagin as spoken by the Holy Spirit)
“If we neglect the book, we neglect our help. If we neglect the book, we neglect our answer.” (14:30, Nancy)
“Faith is the way of God, that we must develop our faith for in every single arena if we're going to receive the will of God in that arena.” (21:25, Nancy)
“So much of the time people’s conversation is full of talking about the mountain instead of having words that talk to the mountain.” (26:42, Nancy)
“Most people are waiting for God to send something when he's waiting for people to say something.” (27:00, Nancy)
Nancy Dufresne delivers a passionate exhortation on moving beyond simply knowing that God wants to bless, heal, and provide for us. She urges believers to become students of His ways—how He operates—so we don’t merely receive temporary fixes but learn to live in ongoing spiritual sufficiency. Drawing from scripture and testimonies, she highlights faith as the bridge between God’s will and our experience, and the Word as the sourcebook for both. The message is clear: in Christ, everything we need is available, but it must be accessed according to God’s methods.
For further study, Nancy encourages listeners to immerse themselves in the Word and to recognize both the 'will' and the 'way' in scripture for every area of life.
