There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the Healer. We are in the midst of a series that. Listen, if you've stayed with us in this series, you've done well. We have been for almost a year on this series called In Christ I Can. And it is such a joy that we have been on this topic. I'm so grateful that God has led us this way. And he just keeps bringing out more and more because really, who we are in Christ is the foundation of our redemption. And it really brings us into the highest order of faith when we establish in us this truth of who he made us to be. Listen, we were born to know him and we were born to be like Him. And when we understand who he already made us to be, then we begin living at his level of success when we draw on and allow him to manifest through us. Because God filled us with Himself, because He didn't want us to try to accomplish his plan for our lives and without Him. And so he authored a plan for our lives, then he filled us with Himself because He intends to fulfill that plan through us as we will yield to him, as we'll respond to Him. And the way we yield and respond to him is we obey Him. But we have to renew our minds. We have to find out and discover who he made us to be in Christ. And when we find that out, my goodness, it puts us living the kind of life that he authored for us. Jesus was an example. And he lived an example life of what every new creature in Christ can live. And Jesus said, my Father in me, he does the works. So know this. You have the Father in you. The greater One is on the inside of you. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost. I mean, we are loaded with, with heaven. And not only that, Jesus said, the kingdom of God is in you. So we have the attributes of God. When we have the fruits of the Spirit that are inside of us at the new birth, the Holy Ghost imparted those fruits of the Spirit to us. So we are just loaded and we have just got to discover what belongs to us, learn to yield and respond to Him. And can I say this? Really, who we are in Christ, it's best lived from a place of fellowship with God, that when we have our days full of fellowship with him, that doesn't mean that we just sit in our place of study all day. It means that we just keep our heart turned toward him all day, that we acknowledge him all throughout the day. We respond to him and we obey Him. And when he commands us to do something, how many of you know that faith is an obedience? When we're in faith, we're obeying Him. And he has authored a plan for us, as I said, but he intends to fulfill that plan through us as we obey Him. And then he begins to move and manifest through our acts of obedience. And so we have just been thrilled to be able to teach along this line, as I said, for almost a year now. And we could really spend a lifetime and not exhaust the subject. But this is so important to every believer that we establish that our true identity is who we are in him, not who we are in us. And if we're struggling in any arena of our life, it's because we think we're the ones who have to fulfill it when it's really us allowing him to fulfill it through us. Now, how many of you know faith doesn't just remain inactive, but faith responds to God. Faith is an act. But the Holy Ghost leads us and guides us, directs us on what actions to take. And as we follow how God is leading us by His Spirit, then we see God's power begin to work and move and manifest. I want you to know that really, when I'm faced with a decision that stands in front of me, the first thing I do is I just turn inward. I turn toward my Spirit to see how the Holy Spirit would lead me. Because when the Holy Spirit is leading me, I don't make movement without knowing how he's directing me and guiding me. Now, when I say this, I don't make movement without him leading and guiding. That doesn't mean I'm waiting to hear a voice. That doesn't mean I'm waiting for something spectacular to happen. It means I check my spirit. For what do I have peace about doing? Because when I'm following the peace in my spirit. That's how I'm following the Holy Ghost. The Word tells us that they shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace. So peace is how the Spirit of God leads us. That we have peace about something in our spirit, then we know that we're to go that direction. Now notice I said peace in our spirit, not just peace in our mind. Because I've been in those places of life to where I had peace about doing something in my spirit, but my mind was in turmoil. My mind was troubled by the decision that sat in front of me that I needed to make. Well, I want you to know I've learned this. Just bypass the mind and just however you're led in your spirit, whatever you have peace about in your spirit, you're safe in following that peace. Because the Holy Spirit is not going to lead through turmoil. He's not going to lead through fear. He leads through an inward peace in your spirit. And so every time that I needed to make a decision, I go first to my spirit and I say, what do I have peace about? And I want you to know that you don't even have to be born again and walking with God for years or decades before you recognize if you have peace about something. I mean, I remember when I first got born again as a newborn baby in Christ, I could recognize whether I had peace about something or not. Every single person can easily distinguish if they have peace in their heart about doing something. Well, if we have peace in our heart about doing it, then we should do it. If we don't have peace about doing it, we shouldn't do it. Because where there's a lack of peace, then the Spirit of God's not leading us in that direction. But again, you have to discern the peace in your spirit can be present even if the mind is trying to be troubled. Because the devil will try to bring all the reasonings and try to escalate all the thoughts against the mind to try to trouble it. Just ignore the mind and go with the peace that you have in your spirit. Because when we're following the peace in our spirit, as I said, we're following the Holy Ghost. I remember one time when I needed to make a decision and I said to God, I said, God, I have peace in my spirit, but my mind is struggling so much. And I said, I'm just going to spend time in prayer until I get it clear how you're leading me in my spirit. And when I sat down to pray, the Spirit of God spoke to Me. And God said to me, he said, you told me that you had peace in your spirit about doing that. I said, yes. He said, but you said that your mind was struggling. I said, yes. And he said, you said then that you were going to pray until you got clarity of how I was leading you. I said, yes. He said, the peace is the clarity. Now listen to that. The peace is the clarity. Really what I was asking for was a more dramatic, spectacular leading without realizing it. But that's really what I was wanting. And I want you to know that peace is enough of the clarity and enough of a leading for you to act on. I made decisions dealing with millions of dollars just with nothing more than a sense of peace in my spirit. I didn't hear a voice. I didn't have a spectacular leading, but I had the leading of the Spirit through the peace in my spirit. And so anytime I need to know what to do, I just immediately I turn toward my spirit and I see, what do I have peace about? What direction do I sense peace in? And then I just follow that. And I know at a moment's notice, because the hol ghost will always lead us into success if we'll follow him. And the way we follow him is we follow the peace that we have in our spirit. If we're unsettled or uneasy in our spirit, then don't do it. But if you have a peace about it, even though the mind may be struggling, ignore that mind and follow what your spirit is leading you to do. Because one of the things that belongs to us in Christ is the leading of the Spirit. Because as we. As we follow the leading of the Holy Ghost, the Holy Ghost will lead us in steps and actions of faith to take. Now, I don't make actions to prove I have faith or to try to force God into something I take time to hear. How is the Spirit of God directing me to act? What do I have a sense about how I should act? And then as I obey that, because faith is an act. And faith without making movement is dead. We can't just sit back and do nothing and say, I have faith, I have faith, I have faith. But we don't ever act. We don't ever have a corresponding action with that faith. So how many of you know if you're in faith, there's an action to take? And really, faith is simply acting like the word of God is true, because it is true. And so we have to recognize that in Christ that the Spirit of God will always lead us in acts of obedience, not just Any act, but an act of obedience, an act that he is leading us to take. An action that he is leading us to go in the direction of. And any time that I need something from God, I always listen. What action do I need to take? How is the Spirit of God leading me? And if I'll follow that action, then what happens? As I obey God, then God's ability starts moving. God's power starts manifesting. So how is it that we draw on the greater one that's in us? We obey him. Too many times people are saying, well I'm wanting God to lead me to do this or lead me to do that. But I would say this, what's the last thing he told you to do that you didn't do? Go back and pick that up. Because God is leading us and through actions to take. And as we obey that, then the power of God will meet that. And I have seen God do that time and time again. He would direct me in actions to take. Because faith is not simply a confession, it involves confession. But our confession is to lead us into acting. And so our faith is an act. Faith is obeying God. And I want you to know that the more we obey God, the more he is going to manifest through us. Now listen, Jesus said, my Father in me, he does the works. But how many of you know? It was Jesus who was laying hands on the people. It was Jesus who was speaking to the lame to get up and walk. It was Jesus who was putting his hands on the blind. It was Jesus who was giving the command to Jairus daughter that was dead to come back to life. It was Jesus who stood before Lazarus grave and commanded him to come forth. So notice this, God did the work through him. But Jesus had an action of obedience to make in Christ. We are going to move with God based on simply obedience to how he's leading us. Obedience to the word of God. And I would say this, don't just randomly grab some kind of verse of preference out of the Bible to act on. Look to how the Spirit of God is leading you. You know, whenever we need a miracle, God will always give us something to obey. Have you ever noticed this, that when we need a miracle, God involves us in the miracle. He doesn't work apart from us. Remember when Jesus was invited with his disciples to to the wedding at Cana and this was the first miracle worked through his ministry. And Jesus mother came to him and said they've run out of wine. And basically I love Jesus response because he said woman, what have I got to do with this. In other words, I'm not the caterer. But I love her response even more than his response, because she basically ignored what he said. And she turned to the servants that were there at the wedding, and she said, whatsoever he says to you, do it. So she put a demand on him to say something to them. So I want you to know your miracle begins with whatever he says to you, do it. Because God is. When you need a miracle, God is not going to leave you out of that miracle. He's going to involve you in that miracle. He's going to give you something to do. You remember so many times when Jesus would walk up to someone who was unable to walk, someone who was laying on a bed crying, and he'd say, rise, Take up your bed and walk. What was he doing? He was giving them something to do. And I'm reminded of the story with Amy Semple McPherson. Now, she was an evangelist that was on the forefront in the first part of the 1900s, and she was well known for a healing ministry. And there was a friend of ours that he worked with her when he was a very young man. And he told us the story. He said, I never saw anyone in a wheelchair in her services that did not get up and walk out of the wheelchair. He said, except one time. And I said, well, tell us about that one time. And he said, that particular service, there were five people that were on her platform, and they were all in wheelchairs. She had preached. And she walked up to the first one to minister to him and said. He said. She said, just very easily, very quietly, she said to that person, rise and walk in the name of Jesus. And that first one just got up, walked out of the wheelchair, and they were completely healed. She went to the second person, said, rise and walk in the name of Jesus. And they got up and walked out. She did that to the second one, the third one, the fourth person, she got down to the fifth person and she said, rise and walk in the name of Jesus. And that person said, well, I can't walk. I haven't walked in years. But listen to Sister Amy's response. She said, neither could these others, but they did. Now, see, that fifth person had a benefit that the first person didn't have. And that fifth person got to see the first, second, third, and fourth person walk out of the wheelchair. None of the others gave Sister Amy a reason why they couldn't. Now, notice this. Faith doesn't talk about why it can't. Because if you talk about why you can't, you Can't. But that. That fifth person sitting in that wheelchair when Sister Amy walked up, said, rise and walk in the name of Jesus. They said, I can't. I haven't walked in years. But Sister Amy said neither could these other four, but they did. Now, see, God's not asking you to do something you can't do. He's telling you, you just make the movement and then he will make up the difference. Because when those others just made movement, then the power of God, miracle power, met them and raised them up. And so Sister Amy again said to that person, rise and walk in the name of Jesus. And they said, you don't understand. I've been in this condition for years. I can't walk. So see, what were they doing? They weren't even putting forth an effort. There was no movement for the power of God to meet. Know this. God's power meets movement. And that's what belongs to us in Christ is his power meeting our movement. So this fifth person, she again commanded a third time, she said, rise and walk in the name of Jesus. And they said, I can't. And she said, then I have to walk off and leave you sitting here now. No, she didn't want to leave them sitting there, but she could not get them to add their obedience to the power that was working for them. Power always meets faith. Power is always available to faith. And faith is a movement. Faith gives action. Faith does something it couldn't do. But faith doesn't go to the reasoning arena. That's what that person, the fifth person sitting in that wheelchair did. They went to their mind and. And reasoned why they couldn't do it. But faith ignores what the mind says. Faith just says, I believe in God's power more than I believe in my reasonings. And so that fifth person, she had to walk off and leave sitting there. Listen. Power had to leave that person sitting in that chair. The power of God was there to raise them up, but they wouldn't receive it. You say, well, is that scriptural? Absolutely. You'll remember that Jesus was in one location, in a home one day, and it was really a preacher's gathering. There were the doctors of the law gathered. There were religious leaders gathered. And it said Jesus was teaching and preaching. And it says, and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. But notice, not one of them that were present was healed. But there was one man who was being carried by four of his friends on a bed. He was a cripple. He was paralyzed. And they took the roof off and they lowered that crippled man on his bed down in front of Jesus. And Jesus said, take up your bed and walk. This is what I want you to see. When you need a miracle in Christ, miracles belong to you. But you're going to have to obey something that God tells you to do. To draw on the power of God that's in you to draw on the greater one that's in you to put the greater one to work for you. You have to obey. He's given you to do. And so Jesus told that man that had been lowered through the roof in front of him, take up your bed and walk. And he did. Now he could have been like that person that was that fifth person in the wheelchair. He could have said, I haven't walked in my whole life. But he didn't give a reason why he couldn't. I want you to know, faith doesn't say why it can't. Faith just starts making movement. It's doubt and unbelief. That goes back to why it can't do something, why it's impossible. Never talk about what can't be done. Faith talks about what can be done. So that night, that minister who was there, and he related to us firsthand when he saw four walk out of a wheelchair and one that didn't. Not because God wouldn't heal them or God couldn't heal them, but because they wouldn't obey. Now because Christ is in us, we are in Christ, he is in us. How do we draw on the greater one that's in us? We obey. Faith is an obedience. Faith is an action that we take. And too many times, if we're not careful, we think confessing is the only action we're to take. No, that's the beginning action. But we are to make follow up actions. You know, when we confess, by his stripes I'm healed. That's not just so we can stay sitting in the chair we're in. We say, by his stripes I'm healed. Well, since I'm confessing that that's going to direct me since I'm healed, I'm going to get up and I'm going to act as though I'm healed. One of my absolute favorite stories of my spiritual father was Brother Kenneth Hagin. He was born with an incurable heart condition. He, he was deformed throughout his entire chest cavity, meaning the tubes and everything within him was not in the right position. And he ended up as a 15 year old on his deathbed. And the doctor said no one in his condition had ever lived past the age of 15. So at the age of 15, he found himself on his deathbed. And he ended up getting saved the first day that he was on that deathbed. And he laid in that deathbed for 16 months before he was able to receive the healing that God had for him. But God schooled him as he laid there in that bed. God schooled him that you, if you believe that you receive before your body changes, before you see any difference in your own body. He said, if you'll believe that healing is yours simply because I said so, then healing power will work. Well, that's exactly what happened. While he was laying crippled and paralyzed in that deathbed, he said, I believe I received the healing power of God into my body and that even though my legs don't work, even though my body doesn't work right, I still say I'm healed because the healing power of God is mine and makes me whole. When he said that, the spirit of God said something to him. God said, somebody who is well ought to be up and out of bed at 10:30 in the morning. Now look at that. The Holy Ghost gave Brother Hagin as a. As a fifth as well. He's 16 and a half by that time. He gave him an action to take. It wasn't enough that he just said, I believe I receive my healing. The Holy Ghost gave him an action to take. What was it? Somebody who's healed ought to be up and out of bed at 10:30 in the morning. So Brother Hagin said, you're right. Somebody who's healed would be up and out of bed at 10:30 in the morning. So he says, I took all it took all the strength I had. He said, my legs didn't work right. But he said, I just put my upper body around the posts of that bed. And he said, and I held on to the posts of that bed. And he said, my body sank, my knees sank all the way to the floor. And he says, why? Because his legs, they had been crippled. They couldn't support him. But as he was taking the action that the Holy Ghost told him to take, as he was taking that action hanging across that bedpost, he said, he raised up a hand and he said, I wish to declare in the presence of God, Jesus, the Holy Ghost and the angels and any evil spirits that may be present in this room, I believe I receive the healing power of God in my body. Therefore I am healed because I received that power. And when he said that, all of a sudden he felt the power of God strike him in the top of his head and go all the way through his body. And in just moments, he was standing up on his own, completely healed and raised up. But I want you to see this. The Holy Ghost gave him something to obey. He didn't just lay in the bed and confess. I believe I receive healing from my body and then just lay there. The Holy Ghost told him the action to take next. Whenever you're believing God for a miracle in Christ, the leading of the Spirit belongs to you. And that's the way to put the Greater One to work for you, is obey what the Spirit of God is leading you to do. When you're in faith, the Holy Ghost will not leave you inactive. He will always give you something to fulfill. Just like when Mary told those those servants there at that marriage, she said, whatsoever he says to you, do it. What did Jesus tell him? He said, fill up the pots with water. And when they did, he said, now draw the water out of that pot and take it to the governor of the feast. And when they did, that water had turned into wine. Notice this. He involved them in the miracle that Brother Hagin. The Holy Ghost involved him in his own miracle. He gave him something to obey. And when you need a miracle, God's going to involve you by giving you something to obey. Because that's the only way we can put the Greater One, who's on the inside of us to work for us, is we obey Him. Remember this faith is obedience. Faith is an act. And I would say this faith is not just a random act. Faith is an act of obedience. Exactly what he's telling you to do. Not what he told someone else to do, but what's he telling you to do. And when you act on it, the Greater One will manifest through you and you will receive your miracle. Amen. Well, we're going to continue along this line. And until next time, remember this. Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

Want you to know that every single person in this world needs a Savior. And the greatest thing of all is that we have one. But this Savior must be welcomed. This Savior must be received. And it's so easy to receive Jesus as the Savior. The Word says that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. So right now do that with me. Say Jesus, I receive you as my Savior. Episode 942 | In Christ I Can, Part 182
Date: February 10, 2026
Host: Nancy Dufresne, Dufresne Ministries
This episode continues Nancy Dufresne's long-running series, "In Christ I Can," focusing on the practical realities of faith, identity, and healing for believers. Nancy emphasizes the importance of understanding who we are in Christ, recognizing the indwelling power of God, and responding in faith and obedience to the Holy Spirit’s leadings—especially in receiving and ministering healing. Through biblical insights, personal stories, and accounts from church history, Nancy teaches the necessity of not just confessing the Word, but taking corresponding actions of faith to see God’s power manifested.

Conclusion:
Nancy Dufresne’s teaching in this episode is both inspirational and practical, demonstrating that God’s miracle-working power is ready to flow through every believer—but our response of faith, in specific acts of Spirit-led obedience, is what brings His supernatural into our natural.
