There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now. I receive it right now from the top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet.

Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the Healer. And we're expecting that throughout this broadcast, you're going to hear answers for your life, because things, thank God, we are dealing with the answer book for life. And I want you to know that there is nothing that the Word does not answer for our life. And so it's a joy to spend this time with you. And we're continuing on the series that we've been in called In Christ I Can. And we're so grateful to know that because he's in us and we're in him, that we're able to fulfill the plan of God because we're drawing on the greater one in us. And when God authored a plan for your life, he fills us with Himself because he intends to fulfill that plan through us. But the thing we've been focusing on in the past several episodes is how do we put him to work for us through us and in us by faith that has actions of obedience. And how many of you know that faith is an act? I don't know if you've ever heard of the English preacher named Smith Wigglesworth. And he was a man of faith and had a strong healing ministry in the early half of the 1900s. He was from England. And in one of his services, it was recorded that he came out holding a miracle service in a big auditorium. And he walked on one side of the platform and he declared to the congregation through faith is an act. And then he walked to the other side of the platform and he declared, faith is an act. And he kept going back and forth, back and forth. And that was the whole beginning of his sermon. For several minutes he just kept doing that until finally somebody got it. They were. People weren't recognizing what he was endeavoring to get the people to do. He was waiting for someone to act, act and respond in faith. And after, after several minutes of going back and forth saying, faith is an act, then he'd walk and say, faith is an act. Faith is an act. He was trying to get someone to act. And when someone did, then the power of God began to flow and a miracle service took off. And I want you to know that in our everyday life, miracles flow when we obey God. And I love something that Oral Roberts used to say. And he said this every day. Miracles are coming to going past you. Well, what determines if they're going to stop with us or if they're going to bypass us? It's are we moving in faith? Are we taking hold not just speaking words of faith? Listen, we have to speak faith. We confess faith. But our confession is to lead us to actions of faith. And how many of you know that? Every miracle that we see recorded under Jesus earthly ministry, he always gave them something to obey. And when they obeyed, then the power, the power of God met them. And they had their stories rewritten by that power. And I want you to know, when you need a miracle from God, it's not enough to say, well, he loves me, he's in me. Well, those things are true. But when we need a miracle from God, we're to say, God, what would you have me do? Why? Because actions of obedience, God fills those with Himself and His power meets us. And so it's not enough to just sit at home and confess the word. That's part of it. But really, manifestations come to pass whenever we're acting. Miracles show up in the actions, not just in the speaking, but yet speaking is part of it. And like I said, our confessions are to lead us to our actions of faith. So when we confess, my God shall supply all my need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus, then we know that we can obey him in moving with his supply. We don't just sit and wait for something to show up. We obey what he tells us to do. Or if we say, by his stripes, I was healed, then we don't just sit there and wait for healing to come. We act as though healing has come because it has come. And so we have to remember this, that faith is more than confessions. It involves confessions. But faith is an action that we take. And faith is moving. Faith is not stationary, sitting and waiting for something to show up before we act. The woman with the issue of blood, her miracle began when she heard of Jesus. But it continued when she got up and out of her house and went to find where he was at. She didn't just sit at home and wait for him to show up at her door, didn't wait for God to just move and do something because she had heard of Jesus. Her miracle included her getting up, getting out of her house. And if you need a miracle, you can't just sit in a chair and hope that something happens. You have to move with God, and God will direct you on actions to take. And because it's not just random actions, but it's actions of obedience that he gives us something to obey. One of my absolute favorite stories, and one that I go back to and remind myself of periodically, is a testimony that my spiritual father gave. Dad Hagin was a spiritual father to my husband and I for decades before he went home to be with the Lord. He was born with an incurable heart condition. And at the age of 15 he ended up on his deathbed. God began teaching him about divine healing. And after a year and a half of being on that deathbed, he was raised up, he began to get ahold of faith in God and exercising his faith to receive his miracle. But after he was raised up off of his deathbed, he had been bedfast for 16 long months. He weighed about 80, 87 pounds. And here he was close to 6ft tall, maybe a little bit over 6ft tall, and his weight had dwindled to about 87 pounds. So he looked like a skeleton whenever he was raised up off of that deathbed. But he was raised up during the years that America was experiencing a depression. And so work was hard to come by. Work was scarce and money was tight, Food was tight. There were a lot of difficulties in this country financially during that time. So after he was raised up, he was still thin from having been bedfast for so long, but he needed to go get a job. And he was about 17 years old at the time. And the only job that they found was a man, was he would grow peach trees and he would plant them. And when they got to be about 2 years old, then they would uproot those peach trees, and then they would sell those peach trees to people and they would transplant them into individuals yards. And so what they had to do to not damage the tree, they had to work and dig that tree up without damaging the root system. But because that tree was two years old, it had some growth in it before they could even sell it. So you can imagine trying to dig up a tree that had some roots growing. It was difficult work. And dad Hagin talked about after he was Raised up off of his deathbed, he had no strength left because he was in a weakened condition. Having been in bed fast for a year and a half, had not any muscle tone. He had lost all of his muscle tone. He was down to £87. But he found this job and probably the, the man who owned the business was just really probably having compassion on this young man who had been ill for so long and needed a job and he gave him a job. So every morning before the sun would come up, brother Hagin is at, is at 17 year old, he joined other boys down at the corner. And then the business owner would come by in his big pickup truck and all the workers would climb in the back of the pickup and he would drive them out to the field where the peach trees had been planted. And when the day when the sun came up, they immediately had to be there and they would start working to dig up those trees from out of the ground without damaging them, you know, so that they could transplant those. And so brother Hagin talked about that. It was, it was such hard physical work, you can imagine. And it was in the summertime and so there in Texas the heat was, it was very hot, it was humid work. And so he said many of the boys would pass out during the day and here he was by far the thinnest one in the group that was working. And they would take bets on who would pass out that day. And brother Hagin would always get in the trunk in the truck that morning when they'd pick him up and he'd say, the Lord is the strength of my life. Now even when he said, when he would wake up in the morning and he would have to get up out of bed, he says it seemed like I didn't even have the strength to get out of bed. But he said I would just say, the Lord is the strength of my life. I want you to know that's what the word says. The Lord is the strength of our life. Can I tell you something? It's not just that the Lord gives us strength. He is our strength. God's power doesn't just touch human strength and elevate it. God gives us his own strength. And so brother hagin as that 17 year old, he would make his boast in the Lord and he would say, the Lord is the strength of my life. And he said, I felt like I didn't have the energy to get out of bed. But he said I'd make myself get out of bed, I'd get dressed. And he had to walk down to the corner. And he would wait for the business owner to pick him and the other boys up in the truck. And he said I had no strength. He says I didn't even really, naturally speaking, know how I would be able to finish the work that day. But he said, but I would say the Lord is the strength of my life. And he said I'd say it all the way while he was going to work and riding in the back of that truck. And he said I would take hold of that first tree. And he said, usually when I would put my hand on that trunk and they would start working that tree loose out of the ground and loosening up that root system, he said it was hard, hard physical work. And he said usually by the time I touched that first tree and started working on getting that loosened up out of the ground, he said I would feel the power of God hit me in the top of my head. And he said the strength of God would come in me. And he said I would work all day in that strength. And he said, then the next morning, I felt as though I had no strength. And he said, but I'd get up and I'd get out of bed. And he said it usually happened when I touched the first tree. He said, usually if it didn't happen on the first tree, never, never pass the second tree. It always. At least by the time he was working on that second tree, the power of God would strike him. What am I saying to you? Why am I saying this story? I want you to know he didn't feel that power when he first woke up. He didn't feel that power when he's getting ready. He didn't feel that power while he's walking to meet the truck. He felt the power when he began working. I want you to know faith is a work. Faith will keep you moving, and faith will never turn you stationary. But if he would have just laid in bed and waited to feel strong, he would have never experienced the strength of God in the restoration of his body like he did. He did not wait in bed to feel something before he acted. He believed that the Lord was the strength of his life. He would wake up and say, the Lord is my strength today. And so because of that confession, he would act in line with what he just confessed. He didn't just lay in bed and say, the Lord is my strength, the Lord is my strength, and just wait for strength to come. But he confessed it so that that would direct his actions. So since he. Since he confessed the Lord is the strength of my life. Then he said, well, then I can get up and I can get out of bed and get to work. And that's exactly what he did. Sometimes this is why some people are not recovering, because they're not putting the greater one to work for them. You think, well, Pastor Nancy, I thought that you're teaching on in Christ. I can. That's exactly what I'm talking about. Because when you act in faith, you're putting the greater one to work for you and through you. Why is that? Because the only way God can manifest through us is through our obedience, the faith that obeys the leading of God and doing what God tells us to do. And so when we believe that we're the healed, we act like we're the healed. And that's what Brother Hagin did. As that 17 year old, he recognized that healing power and strengthening power did not come while he laid in bed. It came when he was up and moving. Because power meets the movement of faith. Power doesn't just meet words, it meets the movement of faith. Yet words help direct our actions. And so Brother Hagin, he would do that day after day after day. And he said throughout that entire summer, he said there were a handful of boys that began that work assignment. And he said I was the only worker left standing at the end of that summer. Every single one of them had fallen out and were unable to continue the work. They would fall out in the day, fainting from the, from the extreme heat and humidity. And he said I was the only one that never fainted. And he said to show that I was the one that I was working and I was not doing just a small amount of work. He said the boss offered to hire me full time and offered me even a promotion on the job. He said now, you know, if I wasn't doing my work, he wouldn't have offered me a full time job and a promotion at that. So he was doing his work and he was out working the other men, not being because of his own ability, but because he drew on the strength of the one on the inside of him. He also told the story. And I just harp back to these stories because in these stories we hear answers for our own life. But dad Hagin talked about when he first started pastoring, that. Excuse me, it was before he started pastoring. He had been raised up off his deathbed a short time. And he said there came a flu epidemic in the community. And so he said I was going around and I was praying for other people who had the flu. And he said this was Such a serious state of flu that people were in. He said it was two, three, and four weeks before people were getting out of bed. It was such an aggressive form of flu symptoms. And he said, I was out visiting those and praying for those who had the flu. And he said, one morning I woke up and he said I had all the flu symptoms on me. And he said, I told my mother when she came in that one morning. And he said, I was laying in bed and I had all the flu symptoms. He says, I told her, I said, mom, call for my pastor. And so the pastor came to his house, and he said, pastor, I want you to lay hands on me for my healing. So the pastor laid hands on him, and they believed God for that healing power to flow. And as soon as the pastor left, Brother Hagin, as that young man, got up out of bed and got dressed, and he said, every flu symptom was still on me. But he said, but now that I have been prayed for and I believe that the power of God begins flowing every time I release my faith, know this. When we release faith, power always begins flowing. Even if you don't see a complete manifestation at the time power begins working. Now, think of it this way. You say, well, if power begins flowing, how come there's not a manifestation of healing immediately? Well, have you ever taken an aspirin and maybe you had a headache or something that was wrong and you swallowed an aspirin? The moment you swallow, you don't go, well, that didn't work. I still had the pain. No, you're giving that aspirin time to work. Well, it's the same thing when the power of God starts moving. Give that power time to work. And so dad Hagin said, I knew that when that pastor prayed, I received that inflow of power, and I believed that it was working. So since I received that power, he said, now I'm going to get up and I'm going to go pray for others who are dealing with that same situation. So he said, I was told about someone, someone who lived about two miles away. Now here, Brother Hagin, as I said, he had been raised up off of his deathbed. He still was really underweight. And he said when I was raised up off my deathbed, he said, I look like a skeleton. He said, my clothes just hung on me. But he started walking, he said, with every flu symptom on him, and he started walking to go pray for somebody else who had the flu. And so he said, I felt like I could not put one foot in front of the other. And he says, but I just made myself. And he said, I just thank God. I thank God. The power of God's working in me. The healing power of God's working in me. Because actions of obedience put a demand on God's power. Why is that? Because power meets faith. And so Brother Hagin just kept walking because back during those days, he didn't have a car, and the house he was going to was two miles away. He said, I walked one mile. He said, I felt like I was going to pass out in the road, but I just kept going. And he said, when I kept going, he said, when I reached the 1 mile marker that I had walked right at over halfway there, he said, the power of God struck me in the top of my head. And he said, and every symptom left. And he said, I walked the rest of the way completely healed. I prayed for that person. And they were raised up. And he said, yet I knew of others who, after they were prayed for, they wouldn't get up. They were just laying there and waiting to feel healed. They were waiting for the symptoms to leave. But he said, I knew faith is an action. I want you to know faith obeys. And when we're in obedience to God, then the power of God will meet our obedience and fill our actions of faith with his divine help. And so Brother Hagin said there were others that they were just waiting to feel better before they would get up. And he said they laid there two, three, and four weeks, that they laid in bed with a serious. With a serious case of that flu. But he said, but I recognized faith is an action. And I want to encourage you when you're believing God for something, don't just sit back and wait for things to leave and for things to get better and for symptoms to leave and for pain to leave before you do something, get up and violate that. Because faith is an action that God will fill with his power. And so this is what we see, that when Jesus was ministering to the people, when he was out ministering to those who needed healing, he didn't just sit back and just wait for God to do something. He was the hands, he was the feet. His mouth was the vessel that spoke the words. He said what God told him to say. He did what God told him to do. And when he obeyed God, God filled his actions of obedience with miracle power. And I want you to know that in Christ, the miracle flow belongs to us. But we have to obey. We have to take actions of faith. We have to speak words of faith. We have to say what he tells us to say, and we have to do what he shows us to do. You know, whenever the 10 lepers, from afar, they cried out to Jesus, have mercy on us. And you know what he said to them? He said, go show yourselves to the priest. What did he do? He gave them to something to obey. And so they, these 10 lepers, they went together, walking on their way to go show themselves to the priest. Why were they showing themselves to the priest? Because he was the only one who could declare them cleansed. And they had to be declared cleansed by the priest before they could come back into society. Because before that, they were outcasts. They were not allowed to be around the rest of society. They were out, isolated. And so Jesus said, go show yourselves to the priest. And as they went, it says they were healed. Notice this. As they went, not as they sat back in their place of seclusion waiting for their. Their. Their bodies to clear up. No, as they went, as they walked. And sometimes people, they're. They're confessing God's power. They believe that Jesus is a healer, but they're not doing any going. So it says, as they went, they were healed. And if I could say it to you this way, you need to do some went in, you need to do some going. Because when you obey and you believe that power is working and you obey what the Spirit of God is prompting you to do, God's power gets in your movement, and then there's a manifestation. I want you to know that anytime I have received something from God, it's not just while I'm studying my Bible. It's not just while and I should study my Bible. That's right to do. But it didn't manifest while I was studying my Bible. It didn't manifest necessarily when I'm just sitting at home doing nothing. It manifested when I was acting my faith. It didn't just manifest while I was confessing. It manifested when I moved forward in faith. Because faith is an act. And we're to move in faith, obeying what God tells us to do. Amen. I just. I so appreciate that the power of God belongs to us every day. But it's not enough to say, thank God, power belongs to us. What's our part in it? Because to every miracle, there's God's part, but then there's man's part. And know this, God always does his part. How many of you know it's not God who is the variable, it's us who's the variable. Are we going to do our part? People are sitting back and waiting for God to do something. And God is waiting for them to do something. And you say, well, what do you mean? God's already done his part for me. He filled you with himself. He has made himself available. Now all you have to do is have. Have words of faith and actions of faith, and then his power will begin to manifest and move and bring to pass that which you're believing for. I can't tell you the number of times that I have not just said something, but I had to do something. There were times that I would have symptoms as I'm going down the road, and I would have symptoms in my body that would tell me how many of you know. Your body will try to counsel you. Your body will try to tell you go back, back home and get back in bed. And I would. I remember driving down the road and I'm holding onto that steering wheel as I'm going to work and saying, I don't care what I feel. I don't care what my body is saying. Because I know this. I'm already healed because Jesus said so, not because my body said so. His Word is enough for me. And since he told me I'm healed, I'm going to work because I'm healed. And this is where many people are missing it. They're considering their body, but they're not considering what God said to them. They're not considering what the Word has said to them. And they're taking counsel from their body. They're taking counsel from their symptoms. But you have to remember this. Faith is an act, and faith takes action. And so if you will get up and violate what your body tells you you can't do, you'll see that then you're falling in line with how everyone in the Bible who received a miracle, that's what they did. They had to violate everything that their body told them that they couldn't do. What symptoms or pain told them they couldn't do, they still did it. The woman with the issue of blood, she heard of Jesus, but it wasn't enough to hear of him. She had to do something. She got up and she got out of her house. She found where he was. Now you think of this. This woman has been hemorrhaging blood for 12 years. Can you imagine how physically weak she would have felt? But Jesus didn't show up at her door. Jesus didn't just come and offer her something. She had to seek and she had to go find where he was. We don't know how long she walked and how far she traveled until she found him. And when she found him, she still couldn't reach him because there was a crowd. But what did she do? She dropped down on her hands and knees and she crawled to reach him. I want you to know she was so hungry to to to have her need met that she didn't think it was beneath her to crawl to him to get her miracle. Well, I want you to know faith will do whatever it takes. And that woman did whatever it took and she received her miracle. But what was it? It was her actions of obedience. It was her actions of faith that she took. And it wasn't Jesus showing up at her door and saying, do you want healing? It was her going out and finding where he was and saying, I'm getting my and so I want you to know I want to encourage you in your faith. Continue to act in faith and the Holy Ghost will give you directions on the actions to take because he will lead you into success. And not only that, he'll lead you into your healing and into your miracle. Amen. Well, you don't want to miss next time. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

Jesus the Healer w/ Nancy Dufresne: In Christ I Can, Part 184 (Episode 944) – Summary
In this episode of "Jesus the Healer" (Episode 944), Nancy Dufresne continues her long-running series, "In Christ I Can," focusing particularly on the importance of acting on faith, not just declaring it. She illustrates foundational principles of healing, faith in action, and the necessity of obedience for God’s power to manifest in believers' lives. The episode is rich with personal anecdotes and scriptural examples, highlighting that faith is not passive but always coupled with obedient action.
Nancy underscores that miracles and healing are not automatic for the believer; they arrive at the intersection of faith, spoken word, and obedient action. The Holy Spirit will show what steps to take, and the manifestation of healing comes as believers move, act, and obey, refusing to be dictated by their circumstances or how they feel.
“Continue to act in faith and the Holy Ghost will give you directions… he will lead you into success, into your healing, and into your miracle.” (27:44)
For those seeking healing or breakthrough: Don’t just wait or confess—ask God for the next step, act in faith, and trust His power will meet you in motion.
Tone: Encouraging, biblical, practical, and filled with real-life and scriptural examples.
