There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now. I receive it right now from the top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet.

Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the healer. And we invite you to get something to take notes on or follow along in your Bible, because we're believing for answers to come for you. And you know, when revelation of the Word comes, that's the end of struggle. When we realize what the Word of God says to us, then we know how to answer our needs. It's so important that we learn to tell our needs what God says. And God always has something to say. He gives us the answers to put in our mouth. I remember that after my husband went home to be with the Lord, about two weeks later, I was walking in my home. I was just going down the hallway. And you know, when God speaks to you, it freezes that moment for you. And I remember it so well. And up, out of my spirit just came these words. And I spoke them out loud even before I really had time to catch it and before I even really thought about what I was saying. But out of my spirit came these words. And I just spoke it out loud and says, I will boldly say the Lord is my helper. When I said that, the word of the Lord came to me, and God asked me a question. He says, do you know how I help you? And I said, well, you know, I thought I did. But I know this. When God asks me questions, it's because he's wanting me to ask him something. And I said, tell me, how do you help me? And he said, when you put my word in your mouth, then you're giving me the ability to help you. And so he can't help us apart from His Word.

He helps us by His Word through His Word, and we're to speak his word. But how many of you know that when we confess His Word and we speak His Word, it's so that we'll know how we're to act. Because faith is not just speaking, faith is also acting. We know this, that speaking is one, one form of acting. But there are further actions many times that we can take. And we can't just sit in a chair and just confess, confess, confess, and not ever put actions to the words that we speak. And know this, God is our helper. And we can be bold in saying that, because we know this, that when we speak God's word, He will hasten to his word to perform it, to fulfill it. And we've been in this series called In Christ I Can, and we're discovering who he is in us, so that we'll be bold to say it. You know Philemon chapter one, there's only one chapter in Fleming, and it's verse six. And I'm going to ask them in the control room to put that up because it's such a important verse to us to understand that how are we going to become partakers? Listen, everything that's ours in Christ, it already belongs to us. But just because it belongs to us doesn't mean we're partaking of it. And so in Philemon 1:6 it says this, that the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you, in Christ Jesus. Look at that. What's it telling us? It's saying that our faith goes into effect when we acknowledge everything that belongs to us because we belong to Christ. Now, we can't acknowledge it if we don't know it. It's so important that we discover it and that we know what belongs to us. That way we can put a demand on it, we can acknowledge it, and then we're not duped by the enemy anymore. When we run out ignorance, we close the do to the devil. But when we find out what belongs to us because we belong to Christ, and what belongs to us because he he indwells us, the greater One is on the inside of us to put us over and to not only not only put us over, but to help us fulfill the plan that we're born for. God authored a plan for your life. Then he filled you with Himself so that he could fulfill that plan through you. Because he never intended that we fulfill the plan of go or try to fulfill the plan of God apart from Him. Listen, the plan of God for our lives is so great that it takes him to fulfill it. But he needs our obedience and our cooperation. I want to read to you what has been really our golden text during this series that we've been teaching in Colossians 2, 9, and this is the living Bible translation, Colossians 2, verse 9. And it reads, for in Christ there is all of God in a human body. So you have everything when you have Christ. And you are filled with God through your union with Christ. And he is the highest ruler with authority over every other power. I don't care what opposition, how powerful. It tries to boast itself that God, who is on the inside of us, he is the highest ruler. He has the greater power. And sickness is a lesser power. Disease is a lesser power. Lack is a lesser power. And we have been filled with the greater one. And so we are drawing on the greater one and putting him to work for us, in us and through us. But notice this in verse 10, it says, so you have everything when you have Christ. Well, in Philemon 1 again, verse 6, it says that we're to acknowledge. So we need to acknowledge everything I have, or everything I need, I have in Christ. Christ is the treasure box. And it is up to us to discover who he is, what he's provided for us, who he is in us, through us and for us, and put him to work for us. So how do we draw on Him? Well, this is what we've been talking about in the previous episodes. That is, we obey Him. That when we faith is an act of obedience. And whenever we obey what he commands us to do, then the greater One in us will manifest and fill our actions with his power and his ability. I was reminded of someone who is part of our congregation now. I pastored for 25 years here in Southern California. Right now, my family, my son is the pastor now, and I travel full time. But when I trapped, when I pastored for those 25 years, of course, there were so many precious families that were with us for years, my pastorate. And there's one woman that she was in our congregation that entire time. And she. She was nearing the end of her life. And as she was really living out her last really few weeks of life, she had the experience of seeing Jesus. And Jesus said to her, he said three things. He said, it's not quite time for you to come yet. He said, I want you to go back and I want you to pray for your congregation. Now listen to what Jesus said to her. He said, number one, I want you to pray that they would be in unity. Now, isn't that an important thing to pray? And it's an important thing to have. Why is that? Because God can't Work in discord. There's nothing in him that's divided, that he works where there's harmony, where there's unity. And so it matters to us that there's unity in the body of Christ, that there's unity in our local church, there's unity in our family. Why? Because lack of unity will hinder the flow of God's power. So Jesus said to her, pray for the congregation to be in unity. Why? Because then God's power can flow unhindered. Another thing that Jesus said, pray for the revelations that belong to this era to come. So what is it? God is wanting us to see further what belongs to us so we can cooperate with him in a greater degree in these last days. You know, these last days are going to be years of, in times of reaping God's great harvest, carrying out, continuing to carry out the great commission. And in that, God is the husbandman that's patient for the harvest. There is a great harvest that belongs to our Father. And in these last days, we're going to gather up that harvest. But so many people are aware, well, there's such opposition, and the devil is doing such things in these last days because he knows, knows it's his last days. And we're coming into the greatest days of the church. It's getting darker in the world, but brighter in the church. And we need to see how great the harvest is and the great work that awaits us in these, in these last and final days. And part of it is there's revelations that God is giving us greater light of who we are in Christ and what belongs to us and other revelations. And so Jesus told this woman, pray for the revelations that belong to this era to come. And then he said this then pray that they would get it. And I asked, I asked, what, what did Jesus mean? I asked this woman, what did Jesus mean when he said, pray that they would get it? She. She told her family that he said this. Pray that they would get what Pastor Nancy's been pre teaching them, who they are in Christ, what belongs to them and what they can do because they're in Christ. Listen, Jesus wants us to get that. He wants us, he wants it to dawn on our spirit. Because when we establish in our spirits who he made us to be, then we start living as rich as he made us to be. When it dawns on us, as it says in Colossians 2:10, you have everything. When you have Christ, do you know that's the end of worry? Because Jesus defeated Satan, there is no More. There is no more entity that we're to worry about anymore. Satan is a defeated foe. And so that means the end of worry. It means the end of doubt. It means the end of fear when Satan was defeated. But many are living troubled by fear, doubt and worry because they don't know that. That it has been put that Satan's reign has been ended, so to speak, that he has been defeated. You say, well, if. If he's been defeated, how come there's so much troubling in the earth? Because people don't know the great defeat that Satan suffered and he's not yet been imprisoned. And so he goes about seeking whom he may devour. Who can he devour? Those that he deceives. Those who don't know that he's been defeated. Well, I want you to know we're discovering how far reaching our victory is. And we know how far reaching Satan's defeat is. And so we're learning to live as rich as we are. But how do we do that? Well, as Fleming 16 says, that we are acknowledging everything that belongs to us because we belong to Christ. Now notice this, what belongs to us in Christ is not automatically enjoyed or partaken of. The blessings of God are conditional. They we have to obey God to enjoy the conditions, to enjoy. Rather to the benefits and the blessings that belong to us. We have to meet the conditions. Well, here Philemon1 6 tells us what is one condition. We have to acknowledge everything that's ours in Christ. That when symptoms show up, we're not to acknowledge symptoms and pain and talk about to our family, oh, I'm feeling worse, I'm getting worse. The pain is still there. We're to say, in Christ, I'm whole. Jesus already paid the price for me. We're to acknowledge what Jesus did instead of acknowledging the enemy and the opposition that has come against us. And so as we acknowledge what Jesus did for us, as we acknowledge that he's our provider, that's what we're to put our attention on. That's what we're to consider. That's what we're to fill our mouth with. But if people don't know that he's made all of this wealth theirs, they're going to be doing, let me say it this way, they're going to be praying the wrong way, they're going to be going this direction, trying to talk God into sending something down. Well, I want you to know he filled you. The fullness of God is you are filled with all. The fullness of God is What the Word says. So what's that mean? We're not trying to coerce God to something down, that we're deficient in some way? No, we are sufficient in him because he has filled us with Himself. And I want you to know that no matter what need you face in life, it is our privilege to tell our need what God says. Because God always gives us our answer in the face of adversity. And I want us to go over and read because this is. We're going to be picking up, saying some of the things that we've said in the previous episodes that how do we put the greater one to work for us? Number one, we acknowledge what he's made ours. But number two, we have to obey what he's telling us to do. Faith is an obedience. To obey is to be a person of faith. You know, just to know what God says but not obey it is a lack of faith. And so faith turns us into a doer. And so in the previous episodes, we've been making these statements that how do we put God to work for us? How do we put God to work through us? We respond to Him. How do we respond to him? Through our acts of obedience. I want to read to you in James 2:14. Now I'm going to read this out of the living Bible translation. Again, we're going to go to James 2:17. I want to start with the living Bible translation. It says this. So you see, it isn't enough just to have faith. You must also do good to prove that you have it. Well, when he's talking about doing good, he's not talking about earning something from God. He's saying, I like what one translation says that when you have faith, you have corresponding actions or actions that line up with your faith. That if we have faith, then we should follow through with that faith, through with our actions. So it goes on and it says this faith that doesn't show itself by good works is no faith at all. It's dead and useless. Well, I don't know about you, but I don't want to have faith that's dead. What's that mean? No movement, it's inoperative. It's not producing anything. But then we go on in verse 18 and it says this, but someone may well argue you say the way to God is by faith alone plus nothing. Well, I say that good works are important too. Or we could say this. Corresponding actions, they are important too. For without good works, you can't prove whether you have faith or not. But anyone can. See that I have faith by the way I act. Could we not say by the way I respond, by the way I obey. He's not talking in this passage about doing good works to earn something from God. But it's because the faith of God is in us. The ability of God is in us. We're producing works. We're producing the fruit of our Faith. Then verse 19 says this. Are there still some among you who hold that only believing is enough? Believing in one. God will remember that the demons believe this too, so strongly that they tremble in terror. Fool. When will you ever learn that believing is useless without doing what God wants you to? Now look at that. That believing is useless without doing. God wants you to. What does God want you to do? He wants us to obey him. He wants us to act on his word. He wants us to believe that his word is true. So he says, faith that does not result in good deeds is not real faith. Or we could say this a genuine faith. So we don't just want to have the appearance of faith without the fruit of faith. You know, if we're not careful, we can learn what faith says but not do what faith does. That's one of the things that I so appreciated about the men of faith that God has put in my life. Dad Hagin, Dr. Sumrall, my own husband. They were men of action. They were men who were doers. Whenever God would tell him, whenever they would have a need and they needed property or they needed buildings, they would say, God, what would you have me do? I saw my husband do that time and time again. He didn't just sit in a chair and make confessions and think, my job of faith is fulfilled. No, Jesus said, we'll have whatsoever. We say, how many of you know it's not enough to believe. We have to say something. But why do we say something? So that we'll know what our actions are to be. You know, the Word says that Jesus is the high priest of our confession of faith or our profession of faith. Well, when we say something, we're releasing our faith. But when we do something, we're also implementing our faith that our faith has to go as far as it can go. You know, whenever I knew that God had another house for me, I would. I remember God would say, I have another house for you. I didn't just go out and I didn't try. I didn't try to buy it with money and that I didn't have in my possession. But I went out and I started looking at houses. I started looking because what is it? Faith is an act. I can't just sit at home and say, well, I believe God has a house for me, another house for me, and not take an action. I go out and I start putting feet to my faith. Or somebody says, you know, I'm looking for a job. I believe God has a job for me. Thank God. I believe I received my job. Well, then you better. You better put in some apple. You better put faith to that action or to those words. You can't just sit at home and say, I believe something. Well, we have to move into acting and God when we ever. That's how we put God to work for us. Because whenever we say something and then we do something, then God's power meets that faith. I so love one of the testimonies that dad Hagin, who is our story spiritual father, he gave. And he talked about how he was raised up, of course, off of his deathbed. At one time, he was completely paralyzed before he was raised up by the power of God. But after he had been raised up, he said one night as a young man, he was about 17 years old, and he had received his healing from paralysis. But he went to go to sleep one night and he said for some reason the right side of his face was completely paralyzed. And he said he couldn't close his eye to go to sleep at night. And so he would just kind of sleep as best as he could with one eye open and one eye closed. And he said when he would talk, all the one side of his move of his face, of his face would take all the movement. The other side was completely paralyzed and wouldn't even move. And so he just, he said, well, I know what I'll do, he said Wednesday night when I go to the service, because he attended a local church there, he said, I'm going to have the pastor to pray for my healing. And so he said at the end of the service, the pastor was getting ready to dismiss the Wednesday night congregation. And he said before he dismissed us, he said, I raised my hand and said, pastor, he said, I'd ask you if you would pray for my healing, please. And the pastor said, sure, come on up here. So he went up there and I love what dad Hagin said. He said, I was listening for the word amen. Because he said whenever he would say amen, that's when I'm going to. I'm going to release my faith and I'm going to start acting as though some. As though I were healed. And so he said the pastor prayed he released his faith for my healing. He said, I released my faith for my healing. And I said. And he said, as soon as the pastor said, amen, dad Hagin said, I just lifted my hand, my hands and said, thank God it's gone. And the pastor said, well, that's just like Jesus. And he said, he dismissed us. And he said, I was walking home with some friends. And he said, my friend said to me, said, you know, Ken said, whenever the pastor prayed for you, you lifted your hands and said, thank God it's gone. And he said, yes, I did. He said, but, you know, we can tell that your face is still partially paralyzed, that when you talk. He said, they said, part of your face is taking all the movement. The other part is paralyzed. And he said, they said to him, what makes you say that it's gone? He said, the word of God makes me say it. He said, because when I received my healing, he said, I believe that every bit of that paralysis was healed. And he said, I'm believing it based on what the word says, not believing based on what my body shows. And they said, well, we don't understand it. He says, I don't understand it either, but that's the way it works. And he said, I just believe that I received whenever the pastor prayed for me, because when I released my faith, power began flowing. So he said, I just went. He said, I just walked home with those young people. And he said, I just said, thank God it's gone. And they said, well, we can tell it's not gone. He said, well, I know by faith that it is gone. And they said, we just don't understand that. And he said, well, I knew they didn't understand how faith operated. So he said one of the friends that they were walking with called him into the house, and before he walked home, he just was walking another person home. And they said, well, come in the house for a moment. So he walked into the friend's house, and they said to their mother, they said, mom, look at. Look at Kenneth's face here. Said, does his face look any different than when we. Before we went to church? And they said, well, no. What? No, not that I can tell. And they said, why do you ask? Said, well, he thinks he's healed. And Brother Hagin said, I don't think I'm healed. I know I'm healed. And they said, well, we can tell that your face is still partially paralyzed. What makes you say it? He said, the word of God makes me sad. He said, I'm considering the word. I'm not considering my body. I'm going by what the word says. What was he doing? He was putting the greater one to work for him. He was acting in faith, speaking in faith. He wasn't just calling himself healed, but he was acting as though he were healed. And they said, well, we don't understand that. And the mother that they were talking to there and the friend's mother, they were in the house. And the friend said, said to Brother Hagin's friends, said to their, you know, their child said, if I were you, I'd be careful about how you talk to him. He said, because he was given up to die, and now he's been raised up off his deathbed. Evidently he knows something about faith that we don't. And Brother Hagin said to him, he said, yes, I do know something about faith. What did he know? He knew faith was an act. That the moment he released his faith, he was authorized to call his victory complete. He was authorized to call himself healed. And he said, so I just walked on home by myself after I left my friend's house. And he said, I'm just thanking God, thank God that that paralysis is healed. And he said, when I went to go to bed that night, went to fall asleep that night, he said, my. The eyelids still wouldn't close. So he says, I just went to sleep as best as I could and just thank God and praised myself to sleep. And he said, and when I woke up the next morning, all the paralysis was gone. And he said, I went and got. I walked over to my friend's house to show them. Look at there, my faith. I'm healed. Every bit of the symptoms are gone. And they said, well, I see you're healed. And he said, yes, last night when the pastor prayed for me, I received my healing. And they said, well, you weren't healed when we saw you last. And he said, but I was healed. They just didn't know it. And I want you to know faith looks at the invisible. Faith looks at the unseen. Faith does not just look at what's seen, because if you look at your symptoms, it'll talk you out of faith. But if you'll look at the Word, it'll put faith in you. When you look at the unseen, it will put faith in you. Because faith is an obedience. Faith is an action that we take because we believe in the power of God that's in us. And that's how we put the greater one to work for us. Amen. Well, we're able to come to you in this broadcast for one reason. Because of the generosity of Kenneth and Gloria Copeland. Episode 945 | In Christ I Can, Part 185
Date Aired: February 13, 2026
Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
This episode continues Nancy Dufresne’s long-running "In Christ I Can" series, focusing on practical faith, living from the fullness of Christ, and putting God’s Word into action. Nancy teaches that believers already possess everything they need in Christ, and empowerment comes by acknowledging and acting on that reality. The episode encourages listeners to move from confession to obedience, underlining the power of aligning faith with actionable steps, especially in the areas of healing, provision, and walking out God’s plan.
"Say, I receive that power... I receive it right now from the top of my head... the soles of my feet." (00:33–00:46)
"When you put my word in your mouth, then you're giving me the ability to help you." (01:36–01:48)
"Our faith goes into effect when we acknowledge everything that belongs to us because we belong to Christ." (03:34–03:44) "The plan of God for our lives is so great that it takes him to fulfill it. But he needs our obedience and our cooperation." (05:06–05:16)
"God can’t work in discord... lack of unity will hinder the flow of God’s power." (06:38–06:49)
"When it dawns on us, as it says in Colossians 2:10, you have everything. When you have Christ, do you know that's the end of worry?" (11:26–11:35)
"We’re not trying to coerce God to send something down... No, we are sufficient in him because he has filled us with Himself." (16:01–16:21)
"But anyone can see that I have faith by the way I act. Could we not say, by the way I respond, by the way I obey?" (21:11–21:20)
"The Word of God makes me say it. I’m considering the Word. I’m not considering my body. I’m going by what the Word says." (26:05–26:14)
