There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the healer. And know this. It is such a joy and a delight to be able to spend this time with you. So. So thank you so much for taking the time. I know you're hungry for the Word. I know that you're wanting to feed your faith. And so we so appreciate that you're taking this time to share it with us. And we have been in the midst of a series. My goodness, we've been on it almost a year now. And I am so glad that the Holy Ghost led us this direction because I've gotten to. I've just gotten so blessed by what he's been feeding us. And on the previous episodes, we were looking at John, chapter 14 and verse 10, and Jesus was speaking, and he made this statement. He said, believest thou not that I am in the Father and the Father in me? Do you know that? Do you know something that now depicts us? We are in the Father, and the Father is in us. And that's why Jesus came, so that we could be one with the Father, that we would have unbroken fellowship with God. And so it goes on. And it says in that verse, the words that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself. Now notice he was saying, the Father's in me, I'm in the Father. And then he started talking about his words. Because who we're in fellowship with is going to get in our words. And so we want to make sure that we guard our fellowship with God, because when we're guarding and protecting our fellowship with God, then we're also protecting who gets our mouth. And so Jesus was letting us know that the words he spoke came out of a place of union with his Father. I want you to know you had that same position now that you are a child of God. And you are in union with the Father. That we are to live mindful of that union, that we're to live based on the oneness. And it's to be such that you don't know when one ends and the other begins. Because when something is one, a seamless flow between the two. And that's what Jesus really talked about in John chapter 15. He was talking about the vine and the branch. And know this. There's an. There's an exchange between the two of them. That they. They are one is as much a part as of the other. And so because we are in union with the Father, that we are one with Him. He is one with us. And Jesus, look at this. He publicly announced it. The Father is in me, I am in Him. And then he started talking about the words that I speak. They're from the One I'm in union with. Listen, if we're not getting the right results in our life, we need to make sure what are we joining our mouth to? We need to be joining our mouth to the One we're in union with. And then he goes on and he says the words, that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself. And he says, but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Now notice this. Jesus said, I speak the words and God does the works. How do we. How are we to live out of our union with the Father? We take on his words, and then he fills his words with his power that came out of our mouth. And so God is in us to perform and to flow through us. Now, how's that going to happen? In our daily life? We acknowledge the Father's in me. I'm in Him. And today his life is my life. His strength is my strength. Today I'm yielding to Him. I'm going to act in obedience to how my Father is leading me today. So know this, that when we understand that we're to live out of a place of union and oneness with the Father and to live mindful of that, it simplifies that everything in life, it takes the struggle out of it, because he's the one doing the works. Whenever we are, whenever we obey Him. Our obedience of faith is what opens the door for the One who's in us to flow through us. Because when God's going to perform, he's not going to leave us out. He's going to involve us. And the way he involves us is he gives us something to obey. Now, when you need something from God, always say to God, what. What would you have me do. Why? Because he will give you something to obey. And your acts of obedience create a flow that he can get in and manifest himself. So know this. God's part is power, but our part is obedience of faith. And so when we. When we are one with a Father, look at this. Knowing this, since we're one with a Father, we're one with healing. We're one every. We're one with everything he is. We're one with provisions, we're one with wisdom, we're one with victory. We are one with success. There's nothing of the Father that has been withheld from us because he's in us, we're in Him. There's nothing off limits to us that belongs to Him. Amen. And then we were saying on a previous episode we made this statement how opposing circumstances will try to portray themselves as a real big deal in your life that lack seems to treat. It wants to boast itself as a big deal or symptoms or the diagnosis that the doctor may have given you that it's a big deal. But I want you to know that because we are one with the Father, he's the big deal. His power is the big deal. His life is the big deal. And so what's that mean with the big deal of Jesus blood? He purchased healing, he purchased victory. And I want you to know the big deal in our life is not circumstances. The big deal in our life is healing. The big deal in our our life is wholeness. It's not a big deal that there's that that the Devil threatens lack. The big deal is we have a provider and therefore we are provided for. And so I want you to know that the devil is always trying to boast himself as the big deal. And we have to take him back to who he is in our thinking and in our words. And he is a defeated flow. So everything that comes out of him is defeated. Sickness is defeated, lack is defeated, depression is defeated. Everything that comes out of him is a defeated FL because it came out of a defeated foe. Now that means though everything that came out of Jesus is a big deal because his blood, the price was such a great cost that he brought us into oneness with the Father. That's the big deal. Healing is the big deal. So we are authorized to say I'm partaking of the big deal of healing because symptoms are no big deal in my life. Lack is no big deal in my life because the big deal is I have a provider and provision belongs to me. I remember when I was little and Growing up, do you know that was a catchphrase that my mother used in the house with the four kids all the time. Because when you have four kids around, you know, they can create a bit of an activity and sometimes a bit of a drama. And mother would always diffuse that because when something would happen that would, you know, get us all upset, she'd go over and say, that's no big deal. And just by her saying that, it diffused what we were facing. And I want you to know that Jesus spoiled principalities and powers. He made the devil no big deal. And so you need to diffuse it in your own thinking. Why? Because I am one with the Father and the Father is one with me. And that's the big deal in my life. Opposition is no big deal. Who I'm in unity with. That's the big deal in my life. Now I want us to look at Isaiah, chapter 14 and verse 14 and this is the King James translation. I want you to see how it reads. I'm going to read it off the screen. And it says, I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. I. I will be like the most high. Now whose words are those? That's what the devil said that before he was cast out. That's exactly what he thought, what he said. Then verse 15 says, yet thou shall be brought down to hell to the sides of the pit. And then verse 16 says this, they that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee and consider and saying, is this the man that made the earth to tremble and that did shake nations? What's that mean? They're going to look at the devil and say he's no big deal. And we treated him like he was a big deal. We made him out like he was a big deal. Just cause he makes himself out to be a big deal. He's a defeated deal. I mean he is a defeated no deal. And I want you to know the big deal is the blood of Jesus purchased us and brought us into oneness and unity with the Father. And so everything the Father is is. We're in unity with, we're in oneness with. We're not trying to get healing. We are in oneness with health. We are in oneness with wholeness. We are in oneness with provision, with wisdom, with success and with victory. Amen. Now the devil is always doing something. You know what he's doing? He's a tear. He's one that tears down. Sickness is a tearing down of health, lack is a tearing down of provision. The devil does nothing but tear down it takes no skill. It takes no ability. It takes no genius to tear down. But the genius is the building up. The skill is the building up. The wisdom is the building up. And we are one with the One who is the builder of our lives. He has always left everything better than he found it. Our Father is a builder. And I want you to know that we are one with the builder. We are one with the wisdom that builds and the manifestation that you are believing God for. You say, Pastor Nancy, I'm believing God for something. When is it going to come into manifestation? When the promise gets bigger to you than the problem. And that's why I say it's so important that you look upon all opposition is no big deal because you're treating it small. And when you call your provision and your oneness with the Father the big deal, that's what's going to get bigger in your life. And the manifestation will come when the promise is bigger to you than the problem. And so we have to see this, that if we look at the wrong thing and treat it with undue respect, the opposition, the difficulties that try to show up in our circumstances, if we treat them like they're a big deal, you know what happens? They get bigger. They begin to get magnified in our life. But I want you to. I want. Look at, look at Second Corinthians chapter 4 and verse 18 with me. Second Corinthians, chapter 4 and verse 18. Paul made this statement. He said, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. Now look at this. While we look not, the word is telling us where not to look. Why? If we look at the wrong thing, the wrong thing will take faith out of us. If we look at the money, it will take faith out of us. If we look at the symptoms, it will take faith out of us. If we look at the bad report, it will take faith out of us. If we look at something in this natural realm that needs to change, it will take faith out of us. So why does he tell us why we look not at the things which are seen? Because they have a penalty with them. If we look at them, they take faith out of us. But there is a reward that comes with looking at the things which are not seen. Because when we look at the things which are not seen, we're focusing on God's realm, we're focusing on God's blessings, we're focusing on our inheritance. In Christ. And what will that do? That will put faith in us. So that's why he says, don't look at what you see because it'll take faith out of you. But if you look at what you can't see, it will put faith in you. So how many times the devil is always trying to get us so occupied with our symptoms to where all people see, all people talk about is their symptoms and listen. I know that when there's pain in the body that it's. You have to have a skill of faith to decide. I'm not going to let my attention go to the. To the place that's loud. Listen, just because something is loud doesn't mean it's right. And just because something is loud doesn't mean that God's authoring it. Symptoms can be very loud in our life. But don't go with what's loud, go with what's unseen. Because when we're focusing on what's unseen, you say, what do you mean by focusing on what's not seen? What about the healing? That if your body isn't showing you health by faith, you're looking at a healed body by faith, you're seeing your body healed by faith, you're seeing yourself do things you couldn't do before. That's what faith does. The person without vision, the person without the renewed mind, all they pay attention to is what they see here. But the person of faith sees into another realm. They see into the words of what God has spoken and they see themselves with those words. Faith sees words and sees their future. The unrenewed mind sees circumstances. And then they forfeit their future. But I want you to know, if it can be seen, it's up for change. How are you going to change what you can see by looking at something different than what you see? You can't change the seen realm unless you look at the unseen realm. Listen, that's what it is to be in Christ. I can't see him, but by faith I see he's in me. By faith I see the greater One is in me. By faith I see I'm in union with the Father. And I don't have to see that with my eyes. I to believe that in my spirit. And the reason we're to talk about who we are in Christ and focus who we are in Christ, focusing on the unseen, that gives us the better view. I want you to know this temporal world will cheat your view. It gives you a low view. But when we focus on who we are in Christ, we are seeing not only the better view, but the best view. To see the things as he sees them. To see the things as he shows them. Your body may show you you're in pain, but the Word says by his stripes you were healed. That's what I mean by looking at the unseen. You look at what hasn't shown up yet. Because when you look at it and it becomes bigger to you, it will replace what you see. So we look not at the things that are seen. For looking at what's seen will take out of you what God has for you. Look, looking at the money, looking at the symptoms, looking at the problem, it doesn't fix any of it. It only makes it. It only makes you struggle with it. And so looking and being fixed, looking at him, being fixed on him, being fixed on the word puts something in you. So don't be occupied with what takes something out of you. Be occupied with that which puts something in you. Things that are seen don't get better by looking at them. Now pay attention to that. What you can see does not change by you looking at it. What you can see changes when you look past it and you look into the unseen realm. About what God says, you look at the better view. You look at your inheritance and what we have because we are in him. So when it says in 2 Corinthians 4:18, While we look not at the things which are seen, this is a spiritual skill that we all must develop in our life. We have to take charge of what our attention is on. Because I want you to know faith, people choose what their attention is on. People with an unrenewed mind will just follow any old thing that's loud. Anything that just is something, you know, trying to get their attention. And they. They go after the wrong thing. They're focused on the wrong thing. Their attention is getting the wrong thing. And those many times those people will say, oh, God, I can't hear you, if you would just speak louder. Well, why don't you turn down the volume of the wrong thing you're looking at? Because it's not that God needs to be louder. We need to quit listening to what's loud. And the devil has to be louder because he's got no foundation under him. He's got no truth in him. And so the only thing he has is volume and repetition. That's all he has is threats and suggestions. And he's so bombarding with that because there's no truth in him. And so he's got to dupe you through being loud. Through circumstances and trying to show you something, and then the Bible tells you what to do. Don't look at. Don't pay attention to what's loud. Well, Pastor Nancy, you don't understand. It's just so overwhelming. Well, don't get your attention on it, because what your attention is on is what your faith is on. And so that's the skill of a life of faith, is we choose what we're occupied with. We choose what our attention is on. So it says here again in Second Corinthians 4:18, while we look not at the things which are seen. Well, since the Word is telling us to look not at the things that are seen, you know what that means? It's a sin to look at what we see. When God tells us not to do something and we're doing it, we're in violation of his Word. And violation of His Word is a sin. So people think, well, I'm just. You know, I'm just getting myself through this test. I'm just. And they're talking about the test. They're in sin to do that. Because the Word says, while we look not at the things which are seen. Why is it, as I said earlier, if we look at the wrong thing, the wrong thing carries a penalty with it? God doesn't penalize us, but it'll take faith out of us. But we are to look at what is not seen. Now, why is it so important what we're focused on? Because what we're focused on goes into us. It goes into our soul. I love the testimony of A.B. simpson. Now, he was a man who was a brilliant man of faith in the 1800s. And he talked about. He was a. He was a denominational preacher. For years. He didn't know anything about healing. He had never taught on healing. He had never studied on divine healing. But one day he found himself. He had been overworking his body. And because of that, he began having serious heart conditions. And the doctors gave him only months to live. And they told him, don't climb up any stairs because his heart would give him such trouble. And really, he was just given a poor diagnosis. And he pastored a church. And he had had some of his congregation members testify that they had gone to meetings of other ministers, and they had been prayed for and they had received healing. So he began to hear about healing testimonies through congregation members of his that were prayed for by other ministers. So he decided, I'm going to go study this truth, study this out for myself. So he went to a wilderness area. There was a cabin somewhere. And he went and shut himself up in that cabin for two weeks. And he just studied on the subject of divine healing. He had never done that before. But when he saw what the word said, he said, I see from the word of God that healing is part of the inheritance of a child of God. And you receive it by faith the same way you receive salvation by faith. So he wrote in the front of his Bible, today I receive by faith my healing from this heart condition. And he dated it. Well, he was in a vacation type area there, and some Bible school students had been also gathering there in that region. And they heard that Dr. A.B. simpson was in the region. And because he was a man of renown, they asked him if he would come and minister to them. And so he did. He came and he ministered to them. And what he did was he Preached on Matthew 8:17 himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses. And so after he taught the class and he told his testimony about how he had been studying out the truths of divine healing for himself. And he told him what he had written in the fly leaf of his Bible, that I believe I receive by faith my healing. And so one of the students came up to him and says, Dr. Simpson, some of us students are going to go hiking today because they were in a mountain area and said, would you like to go with us? And before he could give an answer, of course, the reasonings kicked in. And he remembered the doctor said, don't even try to climb a flight of steps because your heart is in such a bad condition that you could drop dead just climbing steps. And so he, he got ready to say, oh, no, I can't, I can't climb. But then the spirit of God on the inside of him said, you remember you believed you received your healing. So he said, yes, I will go climbing mountain with you today. And so they began going up the mountain, and there was students that were, you know, they were sprinkled all up the mountain, some going as. As far slower pace, some going at a faster pace. And he was walking up the mountain and there were several students on each side of him because they wanted the opportunity to talk to him and ask him questions. So as he started climbing the mountain, though, his heart started paining him and he started getting dizzy and everything started spinning and he felt as though he couldn't make it. And so but he stopped and he reminded himself of what the word said. Wait a minute. Himself took my infirmities and bare my sicknesses, and I believe I Received my healing. And so when he would get his attention fixed on what the Word said, he said the symptoms would go away. And he said the dizziness stopped, the pain in the chest stopped, and he was climbing up with no pain. And he said, and then to. After a few moments, the students would begin to talk to him again and ask him a question, and his attention would get turned toward what they were doing. And so when his attention would go off the Word, then the dizziness would come back, the pain in the chest would come back. So he would stop his conversation with the students and he would turn his attention again to the. To the passage in Matthew 8, 17. And he would just quote that passage to himself inwardly. And so he said, the entire time I was walking up the mountain, it was though a lion was on one side and the lamb was on the other side. And the one that I touched with my thought life, the one that I touched with my attention, is the one that took possession of me. If he touched and thought about his. His symptoms, they got worse. But if he thought about the Word, then that overpowered the symptoms. And he said, by the time he said the entire climb up the mountain was a battle, which one am I going to touch, the lion or the lamb? And he said, by the time I reached the top of the mountain, he said, every symptom was gone. And he said I never had another heart condition. And he said, and that was over 25 years ago that I am now sitting and writing in my study with no heart condition. Why was it. It wasn't just what the Word said. It's but what he put his attention on, of the words, of what the Word said. I want you to know that in Christ we're authorized to have our attention on the unseen. If we're going to put our attention on what we see, on what we feel, it's going to rob us of what belongs to us in Christ while we look not at that which did not come from God. If God didn't author it, we shouldn't be occupied with it. We shouldn't have our attention on it. We shouldn't have our conversation on it. That means you're going to have to watch what you're talking about at dinner, at the dinner table. You can't discuss the problem over and over and over and think that you're going to arrive at God's best. We have to take our attention off of what is seen, and we have to put it on the unseen of God's Word, the unseen of God's power. The unseen of God's ability. And we believe we receive our answer by faith. And and you say, well Pastor Nancy, I believe I received my answer, but it hasn't shown up. Good for you. That means your faith is working because faith is for what you don't see. Faith is for the unseen. It's for the invisible. And the devil will try to tell you just because you don't see your answer that your faith isn't working and you need to give him an education. Say devil, the faith. My faith is for what I don't see and that that's what I'm going to be occupied with. Amen. Well, you don't want to miss next time. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the Healer. God bless you.

Episode 948 | In Christ I Can, Part 188
Date: February 18, 2026
This episode, hosted by Nancy Dufresne, continues the long-running “In Christ I Can” series with a profound focus on living from a position of union with the Father. Nancy’s teaching centers on understanding the believer’s oneness with God in Christ, the practical outworking of this spiritual truth in everyday life, the danger of magnifying problems, and the necessity of fixing attention on the unseen realities of faith. Drawing from Scripture, personal anecdotes, and the testimony of historic figures of faith, Nancy offers encouragement for walking in healing and provision, and provides strategies for keeping faith strong in the face of opposition.
Notable quote:
“Who we’re in fellowship with is going to get in our words… when we’re guarding our fellowship with God, we’re also protecting who gets our mouth.” (03:50 — Nancy Dufresne)
Notable quote:
“God’s part is power, but our part is obedience of faith.” (09:08 — Nancy Dufresne)
Notable quote:
“We have to take [the devil] back to who he is in our thinking and in our words. He is a defeated foe. So everything that comes out of him is defeated.” (13:15)
Exploring Isaiah 14:14–16, Nancy points out that, ultimately, people will see the devil for who he really is: “no big deal.”
The real “big deal” is the oneness and unity purchased by Jesus’ blood—complete with health, provision, wisdom, success, and victory.
2 Corinthians 4:18 is used to teach the importance of focusing not on the seen (temporary) but on the unseen (eternal).
Notable quote:
“When the promise gets bigger to you than the problem... the manifestation will come.” (17:52)
Notable quote:
“Faith people choose what their attention is on.” (24:05)
Notable quote:
“The one that I touched with my thought life, the one that I touched with my attention, is the one that took possession of me.” (28:22, referring to Simpson’s testimony)
Nancy Dufresne’s tone is encouraging, confident, and filled with practical faith-based wisdom. She communicates with clarity, often repeating and re-emphasizing key truths for effect and reinforcement, using personal anecdotes and scriptural exposition to make her teachings accessible and empowering.
This episode is a powerful reminder for believers to live from their union with God, not letting circumstances or symptoms dictate their focus or words. Nancy challenges listeners to magnify God’s work, not the devil’s threats, and to practice the spiritual discipline of fixing their eyes on unseen truths—so that faith, not fear, dominates their experience. The story of A.B. Simpson serves as a practical illustration of how attention to the Word can bring about lasting healing and victory. The core message: In Christ, believers are already one with all that God is and has; by faith and focused attention, this reality can manifest in every area of life.
