There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

I receive it right now.

From the top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the Healer. And we're in the midst of our series called In Christ. I can and I want you to know that you are the temple of the Holy, Holy Ghost. That Jesus said that his Father, when we open the door to him, that him and His Father will come in and make us, that we will be their abiding place. So we are filled with heaven, we are filled with God, we are filled with Jesus, we are filled with the Holy Ghost. We're to be full of the Word. And I tell you, that elevates everything about our life. And we're taking time to find out who we are in Christ and who he is in us. Because when we do, it brings us into the highest order of faith. We don't struggle to learn who we are or struggle to become who we are. We already are in him. And we are to. We are to produce because we are in Him. I want us to go to John 14:10 today. This is the King James translation. Let me read something to you that Jesus stated in John 14, verse 10. He said, Believest thou not that I am in the Father and the Father in me? So notice what Jesus testified to. He said in the hearing of others, the Father's in me, I'm in the Father. And then he goes and says the next phrase. The words that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself. So notice he immediately goes from talking about that the Father's in Him, he's in the Father. And now he goes straight to his words. He begins referring to the things that are going to come out of his mouth are going to reflect that he's one with the Father. So our words matter. It needs to reflect who we're in union with. Jesus constantly moved and operated from a place of union. With the Father. Oneness with the Father. Many times people are trying to oh God, I'm trying to get a miracle. I'm trying to get a healing. Wait a minute. You're in oneness with the miracle worker. You're in oneness with the healer. Being one with the Father means everything he is. You are one with. You're not trying to get it. That's what is in a free divine exchange that all of him flowing through you and all of you available to Him. And this is what happened. Jesus, because he knew he was one with the Father and the Father was one with him. When he went out to minister to the people out out of that oneness, miracles were worked out of that oneness, blind eyes were opened. Out of that oneness, the lame were walking out of that oneness, the dead was brought back to life. Because the oneness that he was so aware of it is my Father in Me. He does the works. So notice. Let's read this verse again. John 14, verse 10. Believest thou not that I am in the Father? Think of the boldness of that. Think of the revelation of that, that no man had ever stated those words. And because Jesus paid the price, shed his blood for us, we get to now say those words. I am in the Father and the Father in me. Think of that. These are not. These are not human words. These are divine words. These carry divine truth, divine revelation. And we need to establish this in us by saying it. We need to say, I'm in the Father today, the Father is in me. That's going to adjust everything about how we think, how we speak, how we operate. When that becomes a revelation to us, to make it revelation to you, say it often. Because when you say something and you start putting your interest in that direction, you start putting your attention in that direction, the Holy Ghost will unfold the truth of that to you. And it would become a revelation in your life. So begin saying, I'm in the Father, the Father is in me. And then the words I speak unto you, I speak not of myself. So the Father, the union with the Father was going to get in his mouth. He was going to have things that come out of his mouth were going to be representative of the One he was one with. And then it goes on and he says, but the Father that dwelleth in Me, he doeth the works. Listen, what simplicity that brings to us, what rest that brings to us that we're not the one doing the works. All we have to do is speak as one that's in union with The Father. Now think of that. If we will talk as one, that the Father's in me, I'm in the Father, and we will talk that way. Then God's power gets in those words, and then he does the works of those words that we speak. Think of that. Jesus was one with His Father, not just for his own benefit, but for the benefit of humanity. And I want you to know God has filled you with Himself, not just for your benefit, but for the benefit of others you're going to come in contact with. If we're not mindful that the Father is in us and we are in the Father, others are going to be robbed from their miracle. Others are not going to receive the answers and the help they need in their life simply because we're not establishing that in us. Well, we need to establish it in us because it will change the outflow of our life. And this is what Jesus was showing. He was showing his fellowship with His Father. Everywhere he went, he lived in unbroken communion and fellowship with His Father. And that's what our lives are. Are. To produce unbroken fellowship will produce a flow of power. It will produce a flow of miracles. And if there's not that we're experiencing, then we're cheating our lives. We need to. We need to recognize who's in us and allow him to manifest through us and manifest in us for the benefit of others. Amen. So notice this. Out of his union with His Father, Jesus produced good works. Jesus produced the fruit of his fellowship. Now I want us to look at Philippians chapter 1 and verse 11. We were looking at this on the previous episode, but look at Philippians chapter one in verse 11, as I just stated, that Jesus produced fruit of his fellowship. Here in Philippians, Paul says this, that we're to be filled with the fruits of righteousness. What does that mean, fruits of righteousness? Well, Jesus made us right with the Father. His blood cleansed us. His blood gave us access to the throne of God. His blood raised us and seated us at the right hand of the Father. We have. We're children of the throne. We have access to everything of the throne, and we belong at the throne. We belong at what that throne produces. That's to be our flow. And because we have access, because we are one with our Father, we're one with the throne. And so we're one with everything that flows out of that throne. And our life is to show fruits or good works of that rightness with God. And we're not right with God because we've done everything right. We're right with God because Jesus did everything right and then credited that rightness to us. He made us right with the Father. We did not earn being right with the Father through good works. But because Jesus made us right with the Father, then we are to produce good works because we're right with the Father. And this is what Paul called that. We're to be filled with fruits of righteousness. And I would say it this way, be filled with good works. Now, as I said in the previous episode, we're not saved by good works. We're saved because we received Jesus. We could not get saved by good works. And there have been whole religions established on trying to do enough good works to be right with God. Not possible. Jesus was the only one who can make us right with God. But because we are made right with God, good works should fill our lives. We're not saved by good works, but once we're saved, good works are everything. And don't forget that good works should be flowing out of that right, that, that fellowship of righteousness that we occupy. So notice what Paul said, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, not just a little bit, but a great measure. And Jesus made this statement, herein is my Father glorified that you bear much fruit. Or we could say this herein is my glorified that you have many good works. And that's not to earn salvation. That's because you are saved, that you can produce something you could not produce before you were saved. Now let's see another scripture that's going to show us something. Ephesians 2:10. And this is the amplified classic translation. I want us to see again what Paul said. Ephesians 2, verse 10. He said, for we are God's own handiwork. Look at that. God took you in hand. He put you in his hand and he worked you. What was the outflow of that handiwork? What workmanship were we? What did his workmanship in us produce? The next phrase tells us he recreated us in Christ Jesus. Listen, we're not what we used to be. We are recreated. We are made new. The old is passed away. That old man, that old nature of sin that was in us has passed away. God took us in hand and he recreated us. He gave us a brand new spirit with the life and the nature of God. And he filled us with Jesus. He made us one with Christ. He put Christ in us, us in Him. And then because we are recreated in Christ Jesus, look at this. We're born anew. We have a brand new start we are born again. Why? That we may do those good works. We did not just get saved so that we could live good. Yes, that will cause us to live good if we'll walk in the light of the Word. But not only that, it's so we can produce good. We can produce good works that changes this world, that blesses other people, that rescues other people. And I want you to know Jesus earthly ministry was simply a flow of good works. It was works that flowed out of his union and fellowship with His Father. Now we will answer to God when we stand before him of whether or not our life produced good works. Because here we're commanded in Philippians 1, verse 11, we're to be filled with good works. Ephesians 2:10 says that we may do those good works. And then the next phrase says, which God predestined or planned beforehand for us. God planned certain works that we're to accomplish. And if we don't accomplish those, we'll stand before God and answer for that. And we can't say, well, you don't understand, I didn't have money. Or you don't understand, I was living in a country of poverty. You don't understand God that I was lived, I was raised in a home that wasn't a Christian home. It doesn't matter. None of that argument will work because we have been recreated in Christ Jesus. And we won't be stand before God and be judged based on the country we were born in, based on the home we were born in. We will be judged based on what the Word says. We will be judged based on who we are in him. And we'll have to give an account for whether or not our life produced produce good works. And so it does matter that we are living who we are in Christ with an awareness that we are in him so that we can produce good works. Let me give you an example. Years ago, my goodness, I would say maybe 35, almost 40 years ago now, I had a dream of myself. And when I married my husband and you know, I was not raised knowing some of the things I'm teaching you today. I was raised in a denominational church, precious people. But we weren't taught the Word. In fact, we weren't even taught how to be born again. But at the age of 19, I was born again and I began to study the Word. And then I married my husband just a few years after I was born again. And he was older, but not only that, he was older in ministry. So he became my Bible school. So after we got Married. We've been married maybe eight years. And we started our church in Southern California. And then God called me to pastor that church. My husband was the traveling minister, and I stayed at home and I pastored the people. So not only did I pastor the church, but I would often travel with my husband. He would have night services and I would preach the morning services. We had two sons, so I was raising our sons. I was administrating our offices. So if I could say this, my days were full. I had a lot of responsibilities like most people do. And I was in the ministry, I was praying, I was seeking God, I was studying, I was doing what I knew to do. And it wasn't like I was neglecting the plan of God. I was endeavoring to fulfill the plan of God. But one night I had a dream, and I recognized the dream was from God. And in this dream, I saw a coffin. And I saw myself in the coffin. And God was showing me that if you keep going the way you're going, you're going to end up dying prematurely. Well, I would have liked to have said, because the devil can give you a dream. But I would have liked to have said that that was the devil. But I knew God was showing me something. God was not sentencing me to a premature death. He was showing me, if you keep going the direction you're going, this is where it's going to arrive you. So when I woke up from the dream, I knew it was from God. Now, let me take a side trail here. How do you know if a dream is from God? Three things. Number one, when a dream is from God and you wake up out of that dream, you will sense the presence of God. You will sense the anointing of God, because that anointing helps you recognize that it's God revealing it to you. Number two, there was no fear. Even though I saw myself in a coffin, there was absolutely no fear associated with it. Number three, that I knew the meaning. If you have a dream and you wake up and you don't know the meaning, you have no idea what it means. Don't go around asking people, what does this mean? Don't go to your pastor, say, well, I had a dream. What does this mean? If you don't know the meaning, then set it aside. I would count it as not from God. Because God's an intelligent being, you're an intelligent being, and if he's showing you something, you don't even know what it means. You don't understand it. Set it aside. Every time I've Had a dream from God. I knew exactly what God was showing me in that dream. So three things. You sense the presence of God. There is no fear, and you know the meaning. If it doesn't meet that criteria, set it aside. Don't touch it again. In your thought life, if you take a dream and you call it from God, but it troubles you, God wasn't involved in that. God's not troubling your life by showing you something. But anyway, when I woke up from that dream, I knew exactly what the meaning was. And then I talked to God about that dream. I knew God was showing it to me. And I said, God, I know that you're showing me that if I keep going the direction I'm going, I'm going to end up dying prematurely. I don't know why. Why would I end up dying prematurely? I'm doing what I know to do. I'm in the ministry. It's not like I'm running from the call of God. It's not like I'm working against God's plan. I'm endeavoring to flow with God's plan. I'm preaching, I'm pastoring, I'm administering the offices, raising my children, traveling with my husband. I don't know what I'm leaving out. And he said to me, there is a special supply in prayer that you're to bring to your husband. Yes, you pray, all right, but you're not tapping into the supply that you're supposed to bring to him. And he said, that supply must be brought. But see, what I want to show you, there was the good works that was supposed to happen, that to flow out of my place of righteousness, out of my place before the throne, that was to be a supply to my husband in prayer. Did I pray for my husband? Yes. But there was more required of me than I recognized in that flow of prayer. And so I had to make that correction. Why was it the good works of bringing my supply and prayer was to be evident, but because I wasn't fulfilling it, I would be in disobedience to God, and it would open the door to sickness and disease on my life, and then I'd end up dying prematurely. Listen, God doesn't put sickness and disease on anyone. But if we disobey God, we open the door to the devil. And God was showing me, because you're not bringing the good works of praying for your husband in a further place, a further realm, a further degree, then you're leaving that good work undone, and you're in disobedience to me by not producing that good work. And the devil will then have the door open to him and he will attack you with sickness and disease. Now this is what I want us to see. Good works are everything. Once you're born again, God expects your life to produce. And so much of the time people are not sober that God expects them to produce something. Now my husband, when he was in his late 50s, he went home to be with the Lord when he was 72, but in his late 50s he went to the doctor one time just for an exam, and the doctor told him, you have cancer. And my husband had no idea. He didn't feel like he had, you know, any kind of threatening condition. But we went home that day from the doctor's office and when we got back home, my husband said to God, he said, God, you don't miss it? I've missed it somewhere. Where did I miss it? And I want you to know that God will show you where you missed it. You don't have to, if I could say this, go into a mental self examination. You get in the mental arena and try to figure out where you miss God and the devil will give you all kinds of faults and failures pointing back to your life and then you'll miss the mark. We don't mentally examine ourself. We let the Holy Ghost reveal something to us. And that's what my husband asked for. He said, where did I miss it? And God said two things. Number one, I've dealt with you for years about properly resting your body. He said you would do it for a short time, then you would go back to your old habit. And he said, your body is worn down and so it can't even naturally resist anything that comes against it. So he said, number one, you're not resting properly. Now I want to take a bit of a rabbit trail on this I've learned and I saw that with my husband that he was go, go, go all the time. Well, that's a great benefit. But you have to balance it out with proper rest. Resting properly is not being lazy. There are some people who are lazy and they don't produce in their life. But I'm talking about people who don't rest enough. I want you to know you're not the savior and you can rest properly. God is not riding your your life hard and keeping your nose to the grindstone. God is a, is a precious taskmaster. He's a good taskmaster. He's not a hard taskmaster. And he will give us space to rest and What I've learned through my years of ministry. Just like I schedule preaching days or I schedule days to film this broadcast, I also put it on my calendar to schedule rest days. If you're just waiting for time to show up so that you can rest, that time won't show up. I take that time. I schedule proper rest. So that's a word to the wise out there that if you'll listen and if you find yourself in that tendency to not rest properly, know this. Number one, you're not the savior so you can rest. Number two, you're going to have to schedule rest and not let something violate that schedule. So here my husband found himself at a point of really a terminal condition for, number one, he didn't rest his body. Number two, God said. He said, you have not been obeying me in the office you're born for. He said, I would tell you to say something and you wouldn't say it. And he said, because you knew that there would be pushback from those who would oppose you. And he said, that does not dismiss you from saying it. So Ed said, you're right. He said, I know you would deal with me about saying things and declaring things, and I wouldn't do it because I knew people wouldn't like it. So he said, God, I repent of that. And God said, okay. He said, Within 30 days, that'll all be gone. He went back to the doctor on day 28, and the doctor said, someone up there sure likes you, because every bit of that cancer is gone. Now, I want you to see something here. What was it that his life was to produce? His life was to produce words that the earth needed, the body of Christ needed to hear. What is that? Good words are good works. I want you to know that if he would have spoken some things that God wanted him to, to say, it would rescue the lives of ministers. It would rescue the lives of other believers. But he wasn't saying those good things. And so what was he doing? He was being judged for not having those good works. Well, did God judge him? No. Disobedience was judging him. He was disobeying that. And this is what I want you to see, that good works are everything. Once you're born again, God will. We will stand before God to give an account for whether or not we fulfilled the works which he predestined and planned for us to carry out in this world. It's not just about paying the bills of your home. It's not just about raising your children. But God expects you to be a blessing to this earth. He expects you to bring blessing to the body of Christ. And if you're not part of a local church, how are you bringing blessing to the body of Christ to the measure you should be. You might be out witnessing to people, but I want you to know that. And that's good. We should be soul winning. We should be witnessing to the world. But I want you to know we're to be part of a local church family and serving that family. And if you're not part of a local church, you're going to be neglecting bringing good works to the local, to the, to the local church and to the body of Christ through that outlet. And so these are things we'll have to give an account for. And many times when we don't bring a supply, we're in disobedience to God and it opens the door to the devil and he attacks us. So I want you to know our lives are to be full of the of the fruits of righteousness. They're to be full of the fruit of our union and oneness with our Father. That's what Jesus life demonstrated. He demonstrated a life of oneness with his Father that bore much fruit. Everywhere he went, Heaven was manifesting through him. He was doing the good works of the kingdom, everywhere he went. And God expects that of us too. Amen. And we'll answer to God for it. So know this every day. Remind yourself. I'll give an account for how I live today. One day I'll have to answer for today and I'm going to bear that fruit because God is in us not to just leave us as we were, but to manifest through us. Amen. Well, I'm so glad we're able to teach some of these things because there are some things like this people don't know they're not aware of. But we need to learn it that God expects something of us. And not only is it a responsibility, it's a high privilege to be a vessel that God flows through and manifests through. Well, you don't want to miss next time. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the healer. God bless you

Episode 953 | In Christ I Can, Part 193
Date: February 25, 2026
Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
In this rich installment of the "In Christ I Can" series, Nancy Dufresne dives deeply into the vital truth of the believer's union with Christ and the practical, powerful outflow that results: a life filled with good works. Emphasizing that believers are filled with God Himself and are called to manifest His goodness, Nancy explores biblical foundations for living out our righteousness and shares personal stories to illustrate both the privilege and the responsibility of producing "fruits of righteousness." Listeners are challenged and encouraged to let God’s life flow through them, impacting others and fulfilling divine purpose.
Nancy’s delivery is warm, direct, and infused with urgency, pastoral care, and practical biblical teaching. She often speaks in the first person, sharing personal stories and lessons learned, and regularly addresses the listener directly with loving admonitions and encouragement. Her focus remains consistently on Jesus, the believer’s identity, and living out faith with tangible results.
This episode calls believers to live in the awareness of who they are in Christ, to let their union with God manifest in good works, and to recognize both the high responsibility and privilege of being vessels through which Jesus brings blessing and healing to others. Nancy encourages listeners not to let busyness, fear, or disobedience hinder the unique supply they are meant to bring to the body of Christ and the world.
For listeners seeking spiritual growth, clarity on biblical identity, and practical instruction for daily Christian living, this episode is loaded with insight and inspiration, all rooted in Scripture and lived experience.
